McDonald's in Langford

Ordered a coffee to go and I was really hungry so i ordered a habanero chicken burger, my companion ordered the normal mcchicken, upon receipt of them the woman tried to upsell us a 25 cent paper bag, obviously paper bags that are free in most parts of the world are not 25 cents each... the burgers where almost identical, we couldnt tell wich had habaneros idea cook with habaneros at home and only a couple of the peppers added to a meal can add a lot of flavour, these lacked it, the chicken burger i had hoped would be made of chicken but it was an oddly regular shape and had none of the meat grain chicken has. The sandwich was $7 outrageous considering you can get a made to order beef burger with much better bun, toppings, care and meat for only $6 at la belle potate in esquimalt.

It s been 12 minutes since I ordered a cheeseburger, apple pie and a sundae. Oh now they don t have apple pies and it will be another 10 minutes to bake it and they won t let me take it home and bake it there. Edit: the apple pie was burnt lol

Thursday night, November 14th 2024, my girlfriend and her friend went through the drive through to buy some drinks and a single sandwich. When they went to the first window, no one was there so they proceeded to the second window as one does. Our friend informed them that she didn t go to the first window because no one was there. A very rude lady named Val happened to be the one working the second window. She said well don t skip next time. We can t find your things cuz you skipped. , when all that was needed was a just drive back around and pay at the first counter. She then proceeded to let them pay at the second window after being rude about it. I get this is a fast food place but if you see no one in the first window, you pull up to the second. I hope Val gets some disciplinary action, as it was completely uncalled for.

yesterday i went through the millstream mcdonalds drive through with my friend to get water drinks and a mcdouble, sometimes the people talk to fast and or the speaker isnt very loud so you cant hear if they tell you to go to the first or second window because sometimes they dont have someone at the first window. me and my friend pulled up to the first window and there was no one there so we assumed we had to pull up turns out we were wrong but as soon as we got up to the other window my friend had told the lady she didnt pay and why. we were met with the response of dont skip next time said rudely by a lady by the name of val on her name tag. again we had only ordered 2 waters 2 pops and a mcdouble. my friend paid and she a minute later she said dont skip time now were having trouble finding your stuff, i go to this mcdonalds all the time and have never had anyone be that rude. not our fault there was no one at the first window and we cant hear you because your speakers arent great. we were not trying to get out of paying we payed immediately at the second window and the lady was acting like we just skipped on purpose

Ive lived close to this McDonalds now for 3 years ... so this is not a complaint I take lightly, over 3 years I order 2 coffees a day , they are never made properly... maybe 1 in 1000 is the way it should be...Ive even complained to management several times ... if they cant even make coffee properly j question if they struggle with everything else too , worst McDonalds in Victoria

This is one of the best McDonald s in town. Staff are always friendly always quick and accurate. It s McDonald s so it s not gourmet, but it s the best McDonald s.

I just went for coffee and it was really good.I got a shot expresso in there.As well. My favorite thing is a cup of ice cream with a shot of expresso on top

The staff here continue to get orders incorrect and seem to have great difficulty understanding English... not to be disparaging but this really affects the accuracy of orders. Ive gone multiple times and it is an unpleasant experience repeating myself simple requests like meal number 1. A clear indication better training is in order.

This was the worst customer service i have ever recieved.i ordered on my mobil app and it said i had 15 minutes i showed up 10 minutes to spare and the lady was so ignorant to me.she wouldnt serve me my chicken nuggets and fish filets.the staff started to makenit and she yelled at them to stop what they were doing and to listen to her.she then proceeded to close the drive through window on me inturrupting me and was condescending and sais thank you.when i tried to express that i still had 10 mnutes.the deiks felt as if she purposely made them with cleaner in it.not sure if they had actually vleaned the machiene or not but i am never going to this place again.

This location is getting terrible with Wait times so slow, they move the whole line to parking spots and are always missing something!!

egg shells in two of my sandwiches. poorly slapped together and one of the hot cakes was practically in two pieces.

Drive thru makes you park every time, today it was for a ice coffee it s getting a little ridiculous, maybe instead of wasting an employee to run out the food, you can get them in the kitchen working. Management and workers are always miserable or rude but can you really blame them?? Won t go back to this spot.

Go here once a week for an ice cream for my dog. I usually ask for it in a cup but I want the cone on top. Some how they can never get it right. So tonight I ordered my ice cream cone and when I got to pick up I then asked for a cup, the lady was beyond rude with an eye roll included! If you hate your job that much perhaps go back to the country you came from. Will start going to DQ now.

Getting very fed up with this drive-thru. I specifically ordered a burrito and a hashbrown and they charge me and don t even give me the burrito . After waiting for 3 minutes without hearing from anyone on the mic. Then when I try to call to complain they ignore my calls and then all of a sudden there phone goes to an automated system. Such a joke. Do better!

Always get my meal right and hot fries. Nit many McDonalds i can say that about. Staff is always friendly and always have pies when i order them. Great job everyone. I recommend you hit this McDonalds.

Dangerous access from road, and dangerous egress. Shared parking with busy gas station makes the parking area tricky. Food is too expensive for quality. No playground

Choose a different McDonald. You ll definitely be missing food. 3 of the last 5 stops at this location has resulted in having to return because of missing items. Just save the hassle and go somewhere else.

On May 3, 2024, at 9:30 PM, my husband went there to pick up our dinner. He paid for two menus but only received one. When he came back to address the issue, he was treated very poorly by your staff. Do your staff have a problem with. black people? Do you believe they dont deserve an apology or to be treated fairly and with respect? And by the way, our order was mistaken twice, as he returned home without fries and the hamburger was just horrible. Your service is simply unacceptable.

Fast food. Need I say more? If you ask for lots of ketchup they give you two. Better to ask for 6 or 7 or whatever you require specifically.

Coffee was warm and good

Ordered at the speaker, with no issues. At the window she was a different person who took the order, and she had me repeat it 4x. It was only 2 meals ($15) she then said I couldnt use the app promo, even though the pop up on my phone said weve got your code! After I provided the code through the speaker with no issues. I said she could have management waive that then as I am not paying more because of their system issues. The lady was extremely rude and made it seem like I was a pest to be there. Bad customer service. Food was cold. Just sucks as everything is so expensive right now, I wont consider this my first choice McDs even though its the one closest to my home. Tip; dont guilt customers for using promos that McDs offers. Your computer issues are NOT the fault of the customer. Also try listening better. The order was not complicated whatsoever.

UPDATE: seems like common sense isn t a thing when ordering fast food. This place is just going down hill, 2 time there and another terrible order. The sad part is management seems to think it s our(the customers) fault for leaving the drive through with the order. Arriving home with 2 McGriddles that only had bread!!! The excuses the manger provide where creative, changing the narrative and eventually just saying yeah I will make you the right sandwiches now. Photo shows bread only( kids started eating it and finally asked why it was only bread). Purchased a happy meal around 8:30 PM January 1st 2024, went home and my kid was eating happily until they drank the milk provided. Turns out the milk was bad, like curdled bad. I called the McDonald s and got a oh unfortunately oh sorry, oh it is good until the 2nd, I had to state that January 2nd was 3 hours away. Their managers failed customers by allowing an expired product or one labeled to expire in less than 24hrs to be served. I was told someone would call me For now I m hoping my kid doesn t end up with food poisoning. I wonder when as customers we can start doing what they do in the US and Sue and ensure these mistakes aren t a thing anymore.

It was quicker then expected, considering there was a huge line up in drive through! Our order was correct as well.

Absolutely amazing survive here at the McDonald s at mill stream extremely fast and delicious food, same with costumer service, as I come here a lot I ve noticed that one cashier in particular has truly caught my eye, Kyle the cashier was an externality kind and caring, whenever I would have a question about the menu he would help me with gratitude. I would absolutely love to have him as my cashier again next time I come here.

I just got one thing to say Ive never been to a McDonald s when the ice cream machine actually works. This past summer I went to this McDonald s and it actually was working so I just want to say thank you for letting me try ice cream at a McDonald s. The McFlurry at McDonald s was pretty good just like a blizzard and had M&M so that s why it s a 10/10 in my book. If your deciding where to get some ice cream ether McDonalds or DQ both insane but when that ice cream machine is working like the one in Langford this is prolly the best McDonalds in Victoria trust. My favourite McDonald s also the fries were really hot which made the experience insane.

Drive thru. Told employee my order. Shes too busy interrupting me to actually listen to the order. Is the job too complex you cant get the order for a chicken mcgriddle, hash brown, and med coke without interruptions?? Not a teen age either so listening shouldnt be such an issue.

Waited in line for quite a while at the drive through only to find that the soft ice cream machine is not working. This is not the first time this has happened. I find that their burgers seem to get smaller in size every year and the prices have gotten to the point where it is just too expensive to eat here. The food at best is tasteless. At the drive through I have encountered operators who do not seem to speak english that well and I have difficulty understanding them and they certainly do not seem to understand me. Today, April 13, I was asked five times if I wanted my coffee black--three times at the intercom and twice at the pay window (same person). My breakfast was not what I ordered. Grrrrrrrrr ! Wont be back !

The drive thru at this McDonalds has a blanket policy of asking everyone to pull through and park out front of the place to wait for your food. This is a Drive -thru. Not a drive thru park and wait. If I order something that takes Time I understand the necessity to have me pull up. That is not the case here it is the managers policy to have everyone pull up. Its annoying and a waste of my time / gas. Cant seem to get orders right here. Order a blt bagel with no egg. Received bagel with no sauce, egg,bacon and some cheese? 2 weeks in a row and these people cant get a blt bagel right. Its probably the most straightforward thing to make. Bacon lettuce tomato. Absolutely terrible.

Same quality as any other McDonalds in the country Tried the caramel popcorn McFlurry that they have for a limited time.

Is open 24hrs, sometimes thats all that is needed, staff are friendly and positive late at night.

Usually millstream one is good and usually stir the iced coffee well enough. This time I got 2 iced caramel coffees, extra caramel, drive thru. Didnt taste sweet at all, returned them and was remade. Tastes like regular caramel but not extra caramel, which we paid extra for.

Its Macdonalds. Its what you would expect.

Well I m glad it s only my daughter who is allergic to sesame. I realized half was through eating my suppose to be Mccrispy, that it was in fact a mcchicken, with a sesame bun. But now there s a whole decontamination process I have to go through to avoid having my daughter go into an anaphylactic reaction. They missed my medium fries I asked for, and gave me a sesame bun because they gave me the wrong meal, he asked if everything is correct on the screen you can pull through I barely had time to read it before they cleared the screen for the next order. DO BETTER!

Every time I go, the order is wrong. The first time I asked for BLT bagel substitue sausage, I got extra bacon; this time, I got no egg and shorted the hashbrown. The lady on the headset heard everything wrong and we corrected her like 5 times. Still everything wrong.

This McDonalds in Langford is great! Most of the time the staff are friendly, the food is correct as to what youve ordered and the inside typically clean! Drive thru is thorough and usually quick! Plenty of parking in this lot that is free at the time of this review, kid friendly of course and wheelchair accessible!

You would think when you ask for extra pickles on the grand big Mac you would get more than 2 slices total!

Overall nice experience but food needs to be more meaningful.

Once again, another McDonalds that doesnt check the bags when packing. Once again missing food. And once again, questioned by staff as though we are lying about it missing. Its not a huge miss. Was only 6 piece chicken nuggets and they were still sitting in the bagging area, but we spend over 100.00 each time we go there as we have a large family, and we can only go as a treat once in a while. They even put the receipt on the bag. We check every time, and its a 90% chance something is missing or the order is wrong. I realize our order is a large one. Weve even ordered ahead to make it easier to prepare and still missing items. I got home to find out that we ordered and paid for a double quarter pound blt meal, yet it only had one patty but was in a double box. Please Please Please McDonalds do better. We are already stressed at the end of a long workday in town and looking forward to a long drive home to hungry children . Its a good thing we check or someone gets left out and its 20 minutes to the closest mcdonalds. We shouldnt have to check orders in the drive thru, but when the order is wrong, we have to go in anyways, so theres no point in going thru the drive thru. No offers like years ago for a free meal or even a coffee when it happens . Where did your customer service go?

Not much to say, its fast-ish food that is slowly creeping up to the not affordable mark while maintaining its sloppy quality.

Its McDonalds. Most everyone is familiar with it. The food is what you expect. Check the bag before leaving, as always mistakes happen and things occasionally get left out. That aside... the staff are fast and friendly.

Generally and okay experience but ordered in drive-through got asked to wait but all the waiting spots where taken and most of the parking lot was so had to park a ways and ended up waiting over an hour to get our food. This is not the employees fault as they were swamped, McDonalds should have more staff helping out.

Drive through messed up my order and then they tried to convince me I should try the incorrect order rather than have them get my corrected order.

I have ordered here a couple of times and mixed drive thru and walk in. Service is usually good in drive thru, walk in not so much. My issue is food quality: I order a Mc chicken meal and I threw out the Mc chicken sandwich as it was old and nasty tasting and this has happened multiple times. Not sure if they leave the pre cooked stuff too long and it goes off, but never had I had a sandwich taste like that. I have chosen to frequent another Mc d s for meals. I would like a refund for my order, but as this is at least the 3rd time so I won t go back.

Love this place food was hot, friendly service. Only downside was my caramel ice coffee that I paid extra caramel for didn t have any in it. Aside from that service is wonderful.

We had a terrible experience at opa. I will only go into detail if someone is curious. But mcdonalds was just easier after the weird experience We were so pleased. Everyone was kind, happy, pleasant, wearing masks, the food was warm, fresh, and tasty. Honestly some of the best mcdonalds Ive had in years! 5 stars in my books. We have only been to this location once but it was very messy and dirty tables all over.

Not so good of an experience on this visit. I picked up a quick afternoon coffee, and they gave me a cup that was luke warm at best. I sent it back and asked for a hot cup, which they took care of for me... but still... they should not be handing out cold coffee in the first place... just sayn!

This is the worst McDonalds in the history of McDonalds! EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there my food is garbage, my drinks are garbage, the service is GARBAGE! I actually hate this McDonalds with a passion. Its got to the point where I will drive 15 mins out of my way so I can avoid going to this McDonalds. Its a shame! The quality is horrible, the staff are rude, and if I could give it zero Stars I would. I never give bad reviews. This place deserves it!

Best McDonalds in the Westshore

Drive through was fast and accurate. This location makes good McDonalds products. The meat is properly cooked and seasoned fresh looking, meaning the color is good (other locations I get blackened, dry pieces of meat. This McDonalds is consistent with whatever they make.

I tried that new quarter pounder with the crispy onions it was a rare occasion because the meat was hot and the onions were good it was a great burger but Im sure if I go there a second time itll be s*****
