If I could give 10 stars, I would. 10/10 recommend. The best Indian food I ve ever had. I ve done take out when family visits, and I ve eaten in for date night or girls night. It s always a hit and everyone agrees.

Weve dined here many times; every time we have walked away very satisfied with the amount of food and the cost. Most of all it is absolutely delicious. Vegetarian options: The Aloo Gobi is amazing! I visited yesterday with my Frnds. We ordered Kadhai Paneer And dal Makhani. Both dishes were superb and scrumptious. Staff was very cooperative and Polite. We ll visit again next time for sure if We went to Victoria again.

This is the most unpleasantly serviced restaurant on Vancouver Island! I went to this restaurant tonight to order takeout. After placing the order and paying with my card, the staff informed me that I would need to wait for over 40 minutes. At the time, there were only about 2 to 3 tables occupied, and the attitude of the staff was already very poor when I was ordering. After placing the order, we sat by the door waiting for our food. All the dine-in customers had left, but we still hadn t received our food. After a long wait, a staff member came to ask if we were still waiting for our order. She then picked up a meal that had been sitting on the counter for several minutes and handed it to us. This was outrageous. Our food was ready, but the staff deliberately did not give it to us. I believe this was a targeted act of discrimination against Asians. By that time, there were almost no other customers in the restaurant, so it was impossible that they forgot about our order because they were too busy!

The best indian restaurant in Langford . Ive been to a few and can state that this is by far the best Indian resto in Langford . Love their food, service, ambience everything. The food was amazing!!! We tried many dishes and ate family style so we were able to try many dishes. I highly recommend OkRA MASALA , KADHAI PANEER & GARLIC NAAN with MANGO LASSI for flavoursome experience . TRUST ME !! For dessert we tried hot Gulab Jamun tht was ambrosial experience will definitely go back .

We went to this restaurant for our anniversary and the food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We went back for lunch recently and it was not busy but the music was really loud so we left before even sitting down. I guess the staff enjoyed the music but the place was too noisy for us. Perhaps it is better in the evening and that is what we will try for our next visit.

Brought my daughter and her friends for a birthday meal and it was just so wonderful. We had the Chicken Korma, rice, garlic naan, and butter chicken. They were delicious and fantastic, friendly, prompt service. Can t wait to come back and try some other menu items.

I m so glad we came to this place. Normally we d have to go downtown or take a ferry to Vancouver for exceptional Indian cuisine but the food, atmosphere and our server Maira were wonderful. After trying a lot of Indian restaurants in the Victoria region, this has become our first choice for lunch or dinner. We ve now eaten there almost a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Our current favourites are the Lamb Masala and the Chicken Korma but we intend to explore the menu further in future visits.

I just had my Christmas party of 12 at this Amazing restaurant on the inclosed patio. Our waitress Rose gave us excellent service. She was wonderful, attentive, our food was hot and so delicious. The atmosphere was warm and we all had a fantastic time. The chef was exceptional! This was my first time eating there and I will be going back. A very memorable experience Thank you Rose

Food has lost its quality & quantity. Service was never great but now has gotten worse, Dal makhni is really bad & watery. They try not to let you dine-in even close to an hour from closing. Chefs leave this time, last call is that time, not sure if we can accommodate dine-in now etc is what youll get. Disappointing to see how they try to push the customers out at night.

Easily the best Indian food in the Westshore if not all of Victoria. The flavours are unmatched and they make all their own spices and yogurt in house and it shows. I would pay to eat here any day over a free meal from another place. It s as consistent as it gets, I can not say enough about the flavours and quality in their food.

Amazing Indian food! We ordered the golgappe, chicken tikka, paneer, and lamb kofta - each dish was beyond delicious. The mango Lassi was the perfect sweet, sour and creamy addition the meal. The servers were lovely and friendly. No other Indian restaurant compares.

Home-made food taste

I am absolutely furious with this place! The first time I ordered vegan Momos from here a couple of months ago, I was disgusted to find that they had carelessly put a tissue paper INSIDE the box, causing it to stick to the Momos. I let it slide, thinking it was a one-time mistake. Today, I gave them another chance and politely explained what happened the last time. I specifically asked them to place some cabbage salad in the box first so the Momos wouldn t stick, and they said they would do it. But guess what? When I got home and opened the box, it was the EXACT same disaster as last time! The tissue was again stuck to the Momos, completely ruining the meal. I cannot believe the blatant disregard for customer instructions! They didn t just make a mistake they flat out ignored what I asked them to do. It s disrespectful and shows they don t care about their customers at all. This place is completely incompetent, and I am beyond disappointed. Never going back, and I highly recommend you avoid this place unless you want your food ruined. Terrible service, terrible food handling, and zero respect for their customers. What a joke!

We enjoyed our birthday dinner at Authentic Cuisine of India very much. The interior is beautifully appointed and Maira our server was warmly interactive & efficient. The nicely textured and spiced pakora were excellent with the tamarind sauce. We ordered several lacto/veg. dishes that did not disappoint. The ( kidney bean/ urad ) Dal Makhni offered the satisfying combination of spice & heat. Excellent! We shared the Chole Bhatura.... two fried breads ( similar to a large puri but made with white flour), a bowl of flavorful raita, a side of North Indian mixed pickle & a bowl of tomato/spiced chickpea curry.) Their basmati rice was delicious with the Mixed Veg. Korma although the paneer pieces in the latter dish were not large enough to add their texture and dairy-forward flavour. We ordered 2 garlic Naan. The breads were tasty but I was surprised that a commercial garlic spread was being used such a skilled kitchen. The food was topshelf and we look forward to returning before too long.

Best Indian food on Vancouver Island. Every time! This restaurant is easily one of the most consistently excellent places to eat I ve been to in a long long time. Being British and growing up near the Curry Mile in England, I know exceptional traditional Indian cuisine and this place is as good as it gets for a wide range of curry dishes. The service is always excellent, the food is always great portions and outstanding quality and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. The food ingredients is always quality and I hope that never changes. I d rather they put up their prices than reduce the quality of the ingredients. The lamb is so good you can take it home and reheat it twice and it s still as good as when it s fresh. The gentleman who goes from table to table checking if you re happy is always polite, friendly, and genuinely wants you to have a great dining experience. Whether you re dining in or taking out, this is the best place to have a full of flavour authentic Indian. Thanks for never disappointing. Awesome place.

Been trying to find a good Indian restaurant with good service and good food. This place has all the things that you need, ambiance, delicious food, friendly staff, fast service. It s one of my go to places from today and I would recommend everyone to try their Chicken Pakora and Kadai Chicken.

My recent visit to the Authentic Cuisine Of India in Langford was a delightful experience! The food was exceptional, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Just one suggestion, although the biryani was flavourful and tasty, the rice was overcooked and was mushy, like a curry rice. Please correct that. I also want to give a special shoutout to our waitress, Ashley, who provided outstanding service throughout the evening. She was attentive, friendly, intitutive, thoughtful and made sure our dining experience was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

I came here on one of my friends birthday. We ordered lucknow chicken curry and mutton Korma with naan s. We asked for extra spicy level for both the curries. When the curries came in we found that species are not cooked well. We flagged the same to waitress. They modified the curries and brought the same . Mutton korma was atleast Addible but chicken curry was still too bad. We liked the ambience and starters but please work on the spices and make sure they are cooked throughly. Before you jump in and say this is how you cook it believe in taking genuine feedback .

Bondi was interesting, chopped and nicely finished, but the korma lamb curry was divine and the aloo Gobi was delightfully sauced and the naan was garlicky perfect! Vegetarian options: Lots of veg curries some with paneer

Amazing food (albeit the palak chicken was too salty even for a table of salt enthusiasts). I loved the decor and ambiance. They were very busy so we did have to wait a while but a great experience overall. The navratan korma was a dish I d never tried and will always get moving forward. It was all the best flavours plus Google the meaning (spoiler: it s the 9 gems). Highly recommend you try it!

Weve been to a few of the Indian Restaurants in Langford and my wife says by far this is her favorite. I would agree. We have been back multiple times and its been great everytime.

Loved the taste ! Ordered tandoori roti with butter and Kadai paneer and gulab jamun. Our server Maira was amazing ! I wanted to eat mild spicy and they accommodated it so well. The manager also turned on the heat for us so we can sit outside on the patio. Loved it ! 10/10 highly recommended.

Food is incredible, great service and nice casual upscale dining experience. Our server Maira recommended the rosemary naan which blew my mind, what a gamechanger! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality Indian food in Victoria.

My family and I recently dined here (party of 7), and the food and service was exceptional. I ordered the Madras Prawn Curry, and we shared several appetizers. Food arrived in very generous portions, hot and delicious. This is perhaps one of the best Indian restaurants I have experienced. Clean environment, plentiful parking, and friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant Manager dropped by our table to check in, and our Server (Maira - spelling?) was lovely. Try the rosemary naan - its phenomenal!

Best Indian food in town

I have been visiting this restaurant since last year. One of the most consistent food test I have found so far last week for one my friend birthday party we dined in. Maira was awesome as usual with her service & creating good memories for us. We enjoyed our dinner and Maira was keep on checking on us what we needed which is a key element of service industry & skillful server. Thank you so much Authentic & Maira .will see you soon.

Please bring back your old naan recipe! The new one just doesn t compare. We used to rave about it and now we re just really disappointed. Update: found out we got the wrong order and got roti instead of naan. Makes more sense.
