Had Portobello Chicken. A friend had black cod. Shared the coconut calamari. Everything was very tasty and substantive portion. Service was excellent/attentive.

A nice place for dinner out. Cocktails wine...ok selection. You must try the cookie for desert..chocolate cookie warmed up with ice cream and whip cream on top. Yummy. The mushroom soup is good..if you find it peppery add your coffee cream...it tones it down. Overall this is a bit pricey so we dont go very often.

We came here for a birthday and it was one of the best experience we have ever had. Our waiter Jenna was so kind and thoughtful and always gave us ideas when we asked. She always had us laughing and gave us so many compliments, She definitely deserves a promotion one of the best waiter we have ever had made this experience so much more fun.

Ive been to Milestones a number of times. Last night was disappointing. Three of us ordered Shitake Teriyaki bowl. The Jasmin rice was not only cold it was in hard clumps. May want to avoid recipes with rice included.

Our grad class (Esquimalt High Spirit of 76) had our third lunch gathering at Milestones on Millstream and they continue to impress the whole gang and we were 26 this time. The food was yummy and the service was top notch. We will be back again next year

Great food and staff, but it can be noisy when busy, which is was the night we were there. Vegetarian options: They have one page of menu catering to vegetarian.

Shameful guest service. I spent 5 minutes in the front door waiting for a host to receive me. No one in the bar. No waitress in the salon. Left to eat somewhere else. Not going to come back there, as it happens all the time.

We just celebrated our anniversary by having dinner at Milestones in Langford. We had wonderful service from Devan. She was a wonderful server and paid attention to us and our requests. The food was fabulous. Highly recommend this location.

I was there last week with my friend and granddaughter. It was a very good experience. The waiter s name we had was Ryan and he was wonderful. I can t say enough about how good he was! Parking: I use a cane and there is handicap parking, even if there isn t one you can park nearby. Milestones Langford is probably the restaurant I frequent the most.

My friend and I had a quick lunch here and we were greeted by the manager, Robin. He was a very friendly and he seated us right away. The waitress (I didn t get her name) was sweet and we got quick service. The food was fresh and super tasty. Whenever I m back in town I will absolutely be stopping here for a meal again!

I need to send a special thanks to server Ryan and the GM Robin for going the extra mile. My wife asked for some horseradish and unfortunately they were out. I made a joke to Ryan that the Market on Goldstream was close by and he could run over. Little did we know but GM Robin had someone run over and pick up some horseradish. Well played sir, well played. Thanks for another great meal (Chicken Portobello mushroom chicken is still the best thing on the menu) and the extra care.

Last night, my girlfriend and I planned a date night and arrived around 8:45 PM on July 6th. We were excited, but unfortunately, our evening didnt go as expected. She ordered the sirloin (medium), and I opted for the filet (medium). After a 20-minute wait, our food arrived. My filet was overcooked and dry, more like past well done. I had requested a replacement, that took an odd amount of time for medium. When my second steak finally arrived, it was still not quite right more medium-well than medium. I had to transfer it to a new plate myself, and it took an additional five minutes for my sides to arrive separately. To make matters worse, despite the restaurant being mostly empty, they seated a noisy family right beside us around 9:30 PM. It was disruptive, with kids running around and shouting. We ended up paying $169 for this experience, which was incredibly disappointing. The free dessert offered didnt make up for the fact that I felt like I was eating my meal in installments. I empathize with our server, as none of this was their fault. However, considering the price we paid, we expected a near-perfect dining experience.

Absolutely the best as always starting when I made the reservation Robin was so accommodating making sure I had a booth by the window. When we arrived for the 5 pm reservation on May 30th the hostess that seated us was very friendly and kind offering to keep my moms walker at the front rather than by the table. Ryan was our server, it was a special night my Birthday and he made it so special and perfect. Ryan you are absolutely outstanding and we love when you serve us.

We had brunch on the heated patio one recent Sunday. The food was really good and the service was outstanding. Hailey P was one of the best restaurant servers weve met and we dine out frequently. Milestones has a real star in her!

I was there with my family getting our order in didn t take long but then we didn t see the waiter for nearly an hour when they brought out a plate of stale chips and salsa our food was ready shortly after my burger was dry and my fries were limp and barely lukewarm overall an awful experience and I will not be coming back anytime soon

Part of a chain, but the bar tenders were great and made some great drinks. I tried the mojitos, the mile-high bellini, the spicy pineapple paloma (not sure why this is called a paloma if it is just substituting pineapple juice for grapefruit juice), and the citrus gin spritzer. All were very tasty. After a couple drinks, friends met me for dinner. The restaurant was not very busy, so not much waiting. Waitress was good, as was the food (I had the stuffed mushroom cap). Vegetarian options: The stuffed mushroom cap was just one of several vegetarian options, all of which sounded very good.

My niece just got food poisoning here. Raw fish. Raw beef. Waiters and managers were very nice. Just dont eat here. Clearly, there are problems in the kitchen.

Best dining experience ever! We had a gem of a server named Chelsey. Her service was spot on and she was so friendly and truly interested in her customers. The food was perfect, top notch and the environment was relaxing, clean and up to date. We will return!

We were so thrilled with our experience! We are fans of Milestones but this one continues to deliver. The service was superb, Ryan was amazing. Despite serving two large tables before and warning of a wait - food came quickly and was stellar. Thanks for making our anniversary celebration special.

I dont come here often because its on the pricey side but when I do its always good. Menu is innovative and food is always perfect. Nice drinks as well. Parking: Located in a strip mall with lots of free parking.

Soggy Fish Tacos, inattentive service. Tacos arrived and the crispy fish was soggy. I would have sent them back but we didn t see a server for twenty minutes and by the we just paid and left.

We have gone to milestones many times we were in Langford and decided to order a steak...2 others did the same...at $40 a plate you would expect to get a steak that was ok...the one I got had to be one of the worst I have had in a very long time..plus it was medium when I ordered medium rare.. I am guessing steak is maybe something one should not order at milestones?

Our server Sebastian was such a sweetheart, but our meals were pretty MEH. It was an 830pm dinner and we were famished so chowed down anyway. It was very expensive and we did not feel like the overall value was there. My burger was dry AF, my daughters lettuce wraps were also dry, and extremely spicy, and my husbands pasta was lacking flavor and had very little chicken in it...like 4 pieces lol

Good food, service is incredibly slow. It may not be the wait staffs issue, but for some reason they operate at 1/2 the speed of most other restaurants.

With tomorrow being my birthday and my mom wanting to take me and my son out for dinner. Me being a chef is very picky with everything being so expensive its almost worth buying good food and cooking for us. I wanted someone to cook me a good steak. So it was Mr Mikes or Milestone. After looking over the menus and reviews of both restaurants I choice Milestones the coconut calamari and steak sandwich looked delicious and had good reviews. We ordered the calamari as appetizer Then the 3 of us ordered dinner as we still were waiting for our appetizer our dinner came, unfortunately the server forgot to ring it in and said Ill put the order in if you still want it and we will cover it. Absolutely it was 1 of the reasons why we were there. All our meals were amazing they didnt charge me for the calamari or my 2nd glass of wine and after we paid our bill the manager came and asked if we wanted a couple desserts to take home on them. Going out to eat has become so expensive but I felt we were treated with exceptional professionalism the service food and atmosphere was extremely exceptional. We had a large party meal here. Very nice evening. Great food, no one had any complaints about food. I had 1/2 rack of ribs and a grilled chicken breast. The ribs were excellent, and the chicken was even better. We had our own room. The service was spectacular. Great evening, good food. Great atmosphere.

Rip off

Service was terrible, from start to finish, they just seem to not care what so ever. Even the person whom supposedly managing had a careless attitude. As shame. Many place appreciate customers, this place does not.

Ordered within 15 minutes after sitting down, 2h 15min later still no food, had to leave because little one was already 1h past bedtime. Writing this review eating some canned soup - thanks Milestones. Clearly some management/kitchen problems here, was already mentioned in other reviews. Cannot recommend, there are better places out there.

We came for my brothers birthday. Our service was absolutely awesome. Abbey was funny and cute...tremendous service. My food was sad. I ordered the medium rare filet mignon with Caesar salad and vegetables. My meat was overcooked for my liking and it was very tough. I didnt want to say anything because Abbey was so great. Been to milestones many times at other locations and have never had a bad meal.

Didnt have a great experiance. Food was cold and they didnt have a lot of the menu available. Waitress tried to make it better we ended up just leaving. Price point is way to high for what they are offering. I think this location was great years ago but its since gone downhill. I want to like it but they sure make it hard.

Good food and servicek

We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday night with 7 people and no reservation. When we approached the restaurant we could see that it was approx 50% full. When we approached the front desk, they told us it would be at least an hour wait. I said but theres plenty of tables available. Then they asked us to wait while they went and checked. Came back and said yes its going to be at least an hour wait. I was like what? Theres a table right there that would fit us all and pointed, cant we sit there? And she said no, you need to leave and come back in an hour. Her tone was quite rude. I asked again why would they turn us away when theres plenty of seats for us. Finally one of the other girls said they didnt have enough kitchen staff to accommodate us. I wish they would have explained that in the beginning, weve never been turned away at a restaurant before when they had the seats available. There was no need for the staff to speak so flippantly to us. We will never go back to be spoken to like that again when theres so many other options. Its unfortunate that they cant maintain the staff required to fill the restaurant. We drove over to Boston Pizza and they could seat us right away.

We enjoyed a full lunch with perfectly prepared and presented meals. The service was impeccable. The service there is always good but it seems that the current service staff is even a notch above.

Tried a vegan dish: portobello mushroom with rice and quinoa was absolutely delicious! Tomato sauce and spices that went with arugula- oh! Mmmm! That s the tastiest vegan dish I ve tried on the island so far. And thanks for adding tofu for my Vegan Prince Charming Dear chef, bless your creativity and magic hands

Exceptional service at Milestones Restaurant in Millstream! Celebrated my wifes new job, and the staff went above and beyond. I requested two glasses of wine to toast the occasion, and not only did our server promptly bring them with a heartfelt congratulations, but to our astonishment, the manager also took the time to personally congratulate my wife. Additionnally, he surprised us with an extra glass of wine. The unexpected and thoughtful gestures from Milestones Restaurant not only elevated our celebration but also positively shifted my wifes perspective on the night. Solid 5-star rating for the outstanding service and memorable experience. Well be back for future celebrations!

Not the best experience Ive had at this restaurant. Are appy was way over salted for our liking. The ceaser salad had stale croutons and way to much dressing. The service was slow and had dirty utensils. Our server got some things wrong witch happens no big deal. The ribs I ordered however were amazing and my partner had lamb that was also amazing so some good some bad. Overall wont be returning to this particular milestone restaurant. The one in Kelowna is amazing. This one needs to step their game up.

I usually love milestones and have no issues . But thought I d share this one, went for date night with my lovely wife and we had steak dinners, I asked for mine medium it came to me blue rare. But that s not the issue, my issue was the server. When we sat down our server brought us our drinks. And never once came back for over half an hour, she was sitting at the bar talking to the bartender. There was only one other table that I could see. Another waitress brought the food. Now I notice my steak is blue rare, she comes by 15min after my food arrives, (first time she s come in 45min) which I ve been waiting to complain about my food, she is shocked to see how raw my steak is, brings it to the kitchen, and goes back and sits at the bar. She doesn t get up once to check on my food for around 25min, which now my wife has long finished her meal as we got it 40min ago. I get my steak, and it s the same cut up rare steak I sent out, was no offer to make a new one. She never apologized nothing. We ve now been there for 1.5hrs and never once offered a refill on my drink. I ve had the same empty glass for over an hour. And there was no offer to give a discount on the bill for this service. We paid full price for this experience. Never wanted to walk out on a bill so badly. She also had the nerve to give me a dirty look with her small tip.

Solid casual fine dining establishment. We had a large group go for a staff event for my husbands work and the service was good. Quite busy and loud. Food was a bit pricey and not many vegetarian or healthy options.

Our server Brian was excellent. Did everything to make our experience wonderful. Although it took a long time to get our food because of a computer problem our server Brian kept us informed. We were not in a hurry so there was no problem. We just enjoyed another drink while waiting. Thanks for great evening.

Quality has severely dropped since I was last here, wrong food was brought. Then replacement food was burnt. For a nice 150$ bill.

We reserved for 21 people for Saturday lunch. We were seated together. Service was great , friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone enjoyed their meals and large portions too, you wont go away hungry. All are highly recommended. The classic breakfast had scrumptious potato wedges and of course eggs and sausage. The grilled salmon hash was done to perfection. Chicken lettuce wraps were yummy with the sweet Chilli sauce. Cakes by the ocean were very good with colorful quinoa and grilled pineapple salsa. The 1989 burgers were super good and the flavors blended well. The California spring salad entrée with chicken and strawberries, goat cheese and pecans was so yummy. I could go on about all the dishes we enjoyed...but you had to be there to enjoy the all the flavours ! Thank you we really enjoyed our group luncheon.

Went for lunch the other day. Three of us. Had wings and coconut calamari and a double waygu smash burger and butternut squash pasta. All meals were very good except none of the meals were hot. A shame because it was not that busy in the restaurant. Didnt complain because we were hungry and just wanted to eat. Not that far from kitchen to table so hard to understand.

It took very very long to get our order taken and for food and drinks to arrive. The Bellini is great, gnocchi is average

I did a skip the dishes for your chili bits & cucumber with wontons. The meal is delicious. A hint...you should put the wontons in a separate little baggie as they were so soggy by the time meal arrived. All in All I still love Milestones.

It had been a few years since I had been to Milestones and was very pleased with my meal and service. The portobello mushroom chicken is a healthy portion and tasty. The ambience of the restaurant makes it easy to enjoy conversation. Definitely wont be years before I make it back.

Food was good, but server was not available or attentive. Two of our sides were incorrect and instead of leaving the main meal and bringing new sides, they took the whole plate away. It makes for an awkward experience when 2 of us are sitting with our main dishes getting cold while we waited 15+mins for sweet potato fries to be added to a plate. When the dishes were brought back the mains were soggy and cool as they were obviously waiting under the heat lamp for the sides to be cooked. Server never returned to ask how our food was or apologize for the wait. When we asked for the bill, they dropped it off but it took 20+ mins for them to return with the debit machine. Overall unhappy with dining the experience.

The restaurant seating was a 25 minute wait so we sat at the bar with Chelsea, she was absolutely amazing. Gave us a great recommendation on our appetizer, was super attentive, funny and very vibrant!!! Highly recommend giving her a raise

Its a Milestones, food is decent, service is basic, trying to be more upsace than it is, but its consistent. For kids its a bit of a miss, no coloring supplies, lots of high chairs, but no booster seats. Food

Good burgers

This review relates directly to their take out service. For some reason the meals they put into take out containers, look nothing like they do when they put them on the plate. I ordered the Sweet Chili Chicken and Rice bowl. There were no vegetables, and so much coconut milk that the food was literally floating in it. It more resembled a Chili Chicken Rice Soup.

The roasted beet and goat cheese salad lacked flavor though the goat cheese itself was absolutely delicious. Service was efficient, attentive and friendly. Amotsphere was okay, didnt like how the patio didnt have pull down blinds as we were blinded by the sun; and the music wasnt great and playing too loud. Otherwise, overall not bad.

Tried to go there this afternoon (May 1st) around 3pm but the only staff on was too busy with her cellphone and I was totally ignored. Went to Browns instead, pretty good there, try their French Dip!

Good food, but servings are too much for 1 person! Its a little bit pricey but worth it. Highly recommended for special occasions.

My husband and I went to Milestones on Millstream for our Anniversary. We were a little dressed up, so while seating us the Manager asked if there was a special occasion to which we did explain it was our Anniversary. He congratulated us, and then he passed on the information to our wonderful server, Krista. Krista was all smiles and friendliness as she served us throughout the evening, making us feel very special. We got a couple drinks to start, which the table next to us was so gracious enough to pay for as they left shortly after we were seated, and Krista was very excited to share the news with us. My husband ordered the steak sandwiches, and I ordered the 7oz sirloin. We were both very pleased with our meals - steak cooked to perfection, and my sides of seasonal veg and mashed potatoes were flavourful, tender, and the potatoes in particular are some of the best I have ever had. My husband greatly enjoyed his side Caesar salad as well, and he can be picky with his salads. There was the tiniest mishap with one of our meals, but both Krista and the wonderful Manager (I am so sorry I do not recall his name) were the picture of professionalism, and went well our of their way to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience overall, which of course we did. We then had desserts, my husband got the Ultimate Cookie, and I had the Key Lime Pie, both of which were very tasty. My husband noted the cookie was maybe a tad dry, but the ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate/caramel drizzle balanced that out in my opinion. Also, the desserts were served with sparklers to help us celebrate our anniversary, which was a much appreciated special touch. Top the whole night off with one of the best mojitos I have ever had, our evening at Milestones was an anniversary well spent! Many thanks to Krista, and the amazing Manager who took care of us on Sunday the 28th! We will absolutely be back! Vegetarian options: We have had brunch here with our vegan friends, and there was no issue getting them a delicious and well balanced meal!

Felt sorry for the waitress. Chicken wings...two types....gelatinous and under cooked. Cheese and artichoke dip...could not find a hint of artichoke. Calimari was freezer burnt tp point of being powdery. Chicken lettuce wraps ...fair at best. Move garbage and mop buckets away from full view from dining room. Big slide here.

had a reservation. waited 1.5 hours for food after we ordered and eventually gave up and left. nothing was coming out of the kitchen despite there being at least 4 cooks in there.

Waited SO long for his first drink , then she joked about getting his ID ? Hes a senior ? Got a hair in my fries , she took the fork , fry and hair. Brought back a new fork . Still got charged for it ? Then the sunroom was cold , and they turned AC off. But before we got desert it was cold AGAIN . We just wanted to leave .

Very disappointed with the food I ordered, I was even asked the wittress to make sure I get it the way I wanted, to make sure that there was no uncooked whites on my eggs. It came to me slightly cooked and the white was raw. I will never have brunch there again, if the chef or cook cant get a simple over easy eggs done right then I loose faith in their ability to cook. Did receive a free appetizer coupon by I dont think I will ever go back. This wasnt the first time that this happened at this place so I prefer to go somewhere else.

Placed an order tonight for pickup. The order is always the same dishes, sometimes with different appetizers added. We have never had a problem, we always tip. Tonight when I picked up, the cook came from the back to tell me We ve had this discussion before numerous times, there will be an extra charge . I have never spoken to this person-or on this issue. I always pick our orders up. He argued with me that he has told me before. I have no problem paying extra that is not an issue at all. The problem is the manager knew the cook was reprimanding me and didn t deal with the issue herself until I asked to speak with her afterwards. It would have been as simple as asking me to pay a few dollars. Won t ever go back.

My partner and I came to grab some food during a weeknight, it was quite dead and they were closing early but they still sat us down which was nice. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, the sweet chili chicken bites, and the salt & pepper wings. The dip was definitely the star of the night, it was super creamy. Both the sweet chili chicken bites and wings were good, only thing is thing is that the wings are slightly over salted. Overall a good experience! Would come back again (:

Great time, good food and drinks, awesome service!

They wouldn t honour my gift card because the restaurant was bought by another company (years ago, don t know why Scene is still offering them then). The server said that I could have it exchanged for its cash value, but when I returned and spoke to the manager, they said this was not true. So we ended up paying $100 for three meals (pasta, steak sandwich, burger) and only I liked mine (the blue cheese burger).

It is so rare to find incredible service these days but it s all wrapped up in one server: Scarlett! Thank you for the awesome dining experience!

Our preferred place for lunch in Langford. The service is good, the place is clean, the food is well-prepared and artfully presented, the atmosphere is cool, calm and comfortable.

Went here for our wedding anniversary dinner, my husband ordered his favourite meatloaf but today it was extremely full of pepper he couldn t even it it. He wasn t going to complain so he said nothing our server then asked him what s wrong he told her she said okay I ll get that taken off for you & let the necessary people know who we assume was the manager came up told my husband it s a peppercorn sauce.. he s well aware he orders the same thing every time it s his favourite meal. He ate two bites and was not honoured anything for the meal. The server was great me and my daughter meal was great. However it is upsetting my husband did not get to enjoy his anniversary dinner.

How this place has not been shut down is mind boggling

Went Oct 4,2023. Waited on by a young lady in training shadowed by the waiter. Great personality. Had a steak. It was probably one of the few steaks in a long time that was done to perfection exactly the way I asked. When getting ready to pay we handed a gift card that apparently was no longer usable as the company had sold to another company. Waitress got the manager and without a blink he accepted the gift card. He even gave a card for a free appy next time we re in for dinner. All in all a great experience from all the staff. Well done!!!!!!!!

Had one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. Food was exceptional, and the service was great, which is a rarity today. Ribs are highly recommended.

Made a special trip to get a dose of this restaurant while in the area. Tried the 1989 burger, smash burger, and calamari. Great portions that filled our needs. Thanks for the excellent service and inviting atmosphere. We will be back when we make our way here again while on holidays. Got food poisoning from an extremely undercooked burger. On the plus side I got to wash it down with a Caesar salad that had no dressing on it. Food : 1/5

My partner and I stopped for lunch. My lovely has a severe concussion. When we asked to be re-seated because of lighting, the general manager, Robin, came out and took care of us personally. Awesome. Then we proceed to have an amazing brunch. The food was fantastic. When you can receive old fashioned service and amazing food, it makes us want to eat out more. Bravo to Robin and the chef (his son by the way)!!! 5 star experience.

If you go here expecting a chain restaurant experience, you wont be let down. Service was fine, our waitress was kind and friendly. Food was a sloppy mess with sauce everywhere, poor quality greens, and lacked flavor, seasoning, and presentation. Their wagyu smash burger was anything but a smash burger and a complete mess. Hadnt been to a milestones for a long time and certainly wont be rushing back for another 10+ years.

My girlfriends and I love celebrating our birthday lunches at Milestones Millstream. The food is consistently so good and the service is friendly & welcoming. We always leave satisfied and smiling !

Ryan looked like everything was a challenge. Our appies took forever. He played all sweet but in my professional opinion he s not competent. Also no sauce on my pasta. because the kitchen didn t make any ..Floors were very slippery. They may use the BOH mop in the FOH . I won t be back.

We took my mom there last night for her birthday. She really wanted to go as shes eaten there before and really enjoyed the food. It was a really long wait for the food. It took over an hour after ordering. I would have been more understanding of the long wait if it was a Friday night and busy but it was a Wednesday and pretty dead. All we ordered was three burgers and a pasta dish. We watched other customers come in order their food eat and leave all while waiting for our food. On top of this after the waitress wrote down all of our orders they still got my moms order wrong. The waitress was really great but clearly theres something up with the kitchen. There were other issues as well but this review is already long enough. We wont be returning. Dont recommend.

Average food slightly overpriced but the atmosphere and service was great.

Took my in-laws out for prime rib for their anniversary, and the waiter waited 25 minutes after we ordered to tell us there was no prime rib. Waiter had to send staff out for drink ingients, then messed up our drink orders twice. Sloppy service and sloppy food.

My son & I went there tonight and were disappointed. The server was very pleasant but we waited about an hour and 15 mins and still no food. The people at table in front and behind came after us and were eating their food already. I told server we were leaving and she said your food is coming now and I will comp your meal . I then saw her talking to a gentleman(owner/manager?) He came to our table and attempted to explain said they were busy & our food was 5th in line & no mention of comp meal. I said ppl around us came after us and had their meals he said it depends on what you order. For godsakes we ordered burgers..how hard is that!!! What a joke ..we got up & left what a waste of time!!! We won t be going there again!

Came in specifically for brunch and on their menu its advertised until 3pm and prior to coming in we had called and confirmed that it was up until 3. Even after multiple opportunities to address that brunch was no longer being served they had waited until after we had placed our order on food and drinks to tell us that they would not be making our meals. Half of our party(6/11) had to re-order and one of the managers explained that the chef was adamant on not making our meals. They had conveniently thrown out all the brunch items at that moment. It left such a bad impression on us and the manager only addressed one persons meals but their were several of us that had to re-order. There was a lack of communication from all levels from host on phone, lead server, to lead chef and managers. Would not recommend for large groups. Team is not very organized and needs to work on customer service.

Came in with a big staff Christmas party (24 people) and it was a wonderful experience. Chelsea was our server and she was amazing! She took care of our whole party! She was attentive, fun and courteous. All the food and multiple rounds of drinks came out super fast. Quality of the food was great also. Had their new beer Granville Lions ale, superb. We will be back next year for Christmas staff party. Thank you Chelsea and rest of staff for a fun staff party!
