Everyone in the reviews was so right about the bbq honey lemongrass chicken wow I could eat this everyday and the prices are so amazing for this economy!! Obsessed with the hot sauces too( must order on the side if you enjoy heat) so umami and actual spicy unlike most other generic ones at restaurants . Also ordered pork shrimp wonton soup not pictured. The wontons were perfect and the broth was light
Tasty Asian Fusion with Great Service We recently dined at this charming Asian fusion restaurant and had a pleasant experience. We ordered two dishes: the Chicken Honey Barbecue Lemongrass and Pork Chow Mein. The chicken dish was a standout—flavorful, tender, and absolutely delicious. The noodles in the chow mein were well-prepared, but the pork was just okay. I’m definitely curious to try the chow mein again, perhaps with beef or chicken next time. The restaurant seems to be family-run, and the service reflected that with its warm and polite demeanor. Overall, a nice place with great potential. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
Just found this korean restaurant. The food is amazing! One of best tasting korean restaurants I have ever been to. Dishes all incredibly flavorful!! Service is fantastic!
Wow… underrated and not well known. What they lack in decor they make up for in flavour. Their food is best described as a Korean twist on common Asian food court staples, but better and (arguably) cheaper. Family of 4 ate for $67 all-in, dine-in. Was originally curious because they had a 5.0 rating on UberEats, and saw they had 4.7 on Google. They definitely deserve it at this price point. The honey BBQ lemon grass chicken is charred rightly, and the salad has a savoury deliciousness. The fried noodles have an authentic wok hei. Portions are “right-sized”; not overly generous but not small. Service is very friendly and attentive. Would definitely come again for a quick bite or takeout.
EMW is an interesting blend of flavors. The menu uses fresh ingredients to offer up dishes which are Korean with Vietnamese and Chinese twists. The result is a very enjoyable meal. It's a small restaurant with a basic decor. Everything is clean; but there is some wear and age apparent. However, this is a small and relaxed place. There is nothing to distract from the excellent food. Service is fast and friendly. Our waitress was watchful and attentive. Dietary requirements are carefully considered and we appreciated the extra caution. We were not rushed at any point. As mentioned, the food is excellent. A nod to tradition is notable in such items as the spring rolls wrapped in rice paper. The salad was not overwhelmed by dressing and the chicken wings were fully cooked without being dry. Portions are generous and we shared our dishes to sample the eclectic flavors on offer. This is a strong recommendation for placement on your list of restaurants to try. Well worth your time and money.
Loved by many and locals, this place feels cozy and offers very nice Asian fusion dishes which can satisfy wide groups of people with different taste. We love their chickens and noodle dishes. Their spring rolls are great as well. However the place can be busy at times and food ordering can and may take awhile. Overall, this is a nice neat hidden gem in Walnut Grove Langley for both dining in and take out.
Got take out through skip the dishes. It arrived in a timely manner and we really loved that it is packaged in compostable containers. We were missing one of the dishes we ordered, and one of the bubble teas was different from ordered. The flavours of the food was good, but the meat was extremely overcooked and tough. It tasted like food that had been reheated and didn't sit well after eating it. I really wanted to love this restaurant, but unfortunately the takeout experience was not positive. Maybe it was a one off and we will try again down the road.

1st off, when I ordered the lady said it would be 20-25 min, Great I thought. Chinese restaurants always seem to have it ready in 10 mins, thats way to quick to be freshly made. When I got it, ready when she said and 10 minutes to closing it was super hot and fresh. Had chicken chow mein and house special fried rice. Might be the best chinese food Ive ever had. Im from Maple Ridge and we do not have anything like this. I want to thank this restaurant for doing things right. I will be back, worth the drive.

Seek this place out. Tiny hole in the wall that you can easily miss if you arent paying attention. The service is stellar. The food is amazing. The restaurant is small in stature but big on flavors. Every dish we had was fantastic. You know it has to be good when the girl who cant handle spice, pushes through the heat and devours the satee! The amount of orders going out by door dash and pick up only proves that there are people that know how good this place is. If you have to wait a little bit for your food, sit down, wait patiently and be prepared to be satisfied. The only negative to this place is that we were so full we couldnt try more dishes! Go out of your way for this one. Its worth it!

Food was absolutely awesome!! Chicken chow mein was the best we ve had, the sweet and sour pork was perfect. Salad rolls were massive and so tasty with the peanut sauce. The wonton soup was excellent!! Great service and friendly kitchen.
My friend recommended me to try here and i should thank my friend for the great delicious foods. Sate beef and BBq Honey lemongrass chicken became my favourites. I will definitely return

Friendly and the food is delicious
A gem in the middle of nowhere. We stopped there on our way to Whistler mostly b.c. there was an EV charger near-by. The food was amazing, and large portions too. We fell in love with the sauces, which can only be bought if pre-ordered, so we stopped again on the way back. Not only we got our batch of wonderful sauce, but also were greeted as if we were relatives. The hostess actually remembered what we ordered a week prior and liked - kids were very impressed (they did not remember of course). Wish we can go there more often .

Ohh absolutely love their food, best thing I love about the food is #1 the flavors, we almost always order garlic pepper jumbo prawns, brocolli and mixed Asian veg with chicken and chicken chowmein and their wonton soup, all of them very uniquely deliciously falvorful! #2 is their amazing veggie portion with most dishes. I live nearby and a full time working mom, so I dont feel guilty at all when I order to-go from here since the kids get their good share of vegetables. Highly recommend!

I went to this place because I saw it had 4.6 stars. I assume that those stars must be earned from the people who get take out, if they happen to get the order to the correct person. During my dine-in experience, there was 2-3 different times where the wrong person got the wrong order, and I was only there for 45 minutes. There was no one to seat me, no clean tables they were all covered with plates, after they cleaned my table the rest of the tables including the one beside me sat covered the whole time. It took 20 minutes to get my water, where I also got small plates cover in defined finger prints. At that point I was worried I may get food poisoning (I did not get it). My appetizer came out the same time as my rice dish. I ate the appy and my rice dish looked like it was getting cold but couldn t ask for my sweet and sour pork dish because they were still dealing with getting the take out orders sorted. I m sure if I got to eat the rice dish with the sweet and sour pork that it would taste good. I didn t like how I was given regular cutlery because I am Caucasian but everyone else dining in who was Asian got chopsticks. I think I should be asked what I would prefer. There was just a single family of three working, they looked like nice people but clearly needed to have hired two other people (one in the kitchen and a server/table cleaner) to meet the demands of the restaurant. It would have been nice to have music and a little fake candle or lantern on the table but that would be last of the suggestions. This place has a great potential because the food is good, but they need to hire help do that they can provide customer service.
It is a restaurant that always satisfies with clean taste. I am also satisfied with the firey aroma of the meat^^
Wonderful place and the food was great. This is not a fancy restaurant and you really should be coming her for the food, with that said the food was amazing. I tried the regular wings and they were actually fantastic. Coated and similar to a salt and pepper wing and much better then the bread junk most chains do. These were so tasty and unexpectedly good. I then ordered the stir fry veggies and beef and it was almost perfect. The beef lacked a tiny bit in tenderness but no stir fry had to be that perfect. I loved everything and in a strange way, I knew someone cooked my food and had passion for it. So tasty, quick and honestly I dont think most places can do it as good. The staff were so friendly and quick, I will return and try more because theres a master chef behind the counter and I was pretty wowed at the food.

My husband and I dined here last night. The food was incredible! So flavourful, fresh, and delicious! Portions were a good size. The bubble tea was also delicious! Not too sweet and not watery. We would definitely come back.
My favorite restaurant in Langley Its absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the curry style and pan fried udon. I like bubble tea because it doesn t smell like medicine and is less sweet than other places.
Great experience, staff and chef were considerate of me being gluten intolerant and recommend the spring rolls and stir-fry broccoli with beef. Taste was awesome and I love that they exclusively say on their menu NO MSG. Dietary restrictions: Were understanding and knowledgable about what I could eat that didnt have gluten. Great staff. As the name of the restaurant suggests, fusion food is a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western flavors. All the food and bubble tea are clean. (I wasnt able to prepare a plate and fork for the birthday cake cutting, but I was so grateful that they generously provided it :))

The place offers fushion food between Korean flavors mixed with Southern Asian. And one is not dominant than the other, making this place unique and flavourful. The owners are a very sweet bunch. Answers our questions patiently and makes recommendations. Family owned gem in the area that weve been visiting for a while. Try their chicken. They also make their own hot sauce thats very flavourful and actually spicy.

Fantastic place. Been coming here for years and I always had a positive experience. Super friendly staff and delicious food at relatively affordable prices compared to other places. This place also has the best pearls ever for boba - super soft and sweet. I recommend the pan fried udon noodles, sauté with rice & an original milk tea with double pearls!

The food was so good, and I loved chicken wing and their homemade hot sauce.
Fast, friendly and just a quaint smaller restaurant. Was even warned how spicy the dish was beforehand; just make sure to grab a hot milk tea pairing if you go with the curry. Will help clear your throat and nose, and have you breathing normally again on these colder days. Superb. Will be back again to further explore more dishes.

So happy to have found this place through other well scored reviews. I have family near by so I am looking very forward to many more visits. Menu is perfect simple and items have amazing flavor using better cuts of meats and veg. Best part is the mom and pop shop experience is amazing as the couple running front were absolutely lovely. Pay attention Langley. I could only wish I had this kind of E.M.W up here in Whistler. Id eat it every week.

Service was a bit slow, but I expected it having read some reviews that its a family owned and run restaurant. But the food was amazing! Such good flavors. Lemongrass chicken meal was perfect portion size, and very flavorful. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

I tried this place recently. Was quite happy with the food and service. Portions were a good size. vegetables were cooked perfectly and everything was quite tasty. Staff is friendly and theres plenty of parking out front.

Was super excited to see such a highly rated restaurant option in Langley. But I was very disappointed. I ordered the lemongrass pork and the salt and pepper wings. The lemon grass pork was super dry. I was surprised how dry it was. The sauce that covered it couldn t save it. It was awful. The salt and pepper wings were a little better, but that s not saying a lot. They were burnt and dry. Maybe if I chose the yang yam sauce version, it would have hid the bad cooking technique and possible injected it with some moistness. I don t know why it s so highly ranked. Buyer beware.

I ordered crispy wontons, chow mein with beef, and honey lemongrass style chicken. I ordered takeout. Everything was hot and fresh. The wontons were so crunchy and flavourful. I really enjoyed this meal and will order again for sure.

We decided to give this place a shot because of the other great reviews, however, we were disappointed. We had pan fried rice noodles with chicken which had zero flavour - we tried adding salt and still nothing. they tasted like water. The sweet and sour pork, although flavourful, the pork was very dry and I could actually count exactly 8 small pieces of pork in the entire dish. We also had a veggie salad roll, which is the same price as a salad roll with protein. For the same price, they should give you two of them based on what is in it. Overall I ll give them three stars because it was quick and they got the order correct but we won t be coming back.

Youre missing out if you havent already tried EMW! If youre ever around the area, I highly recommend you trying them. What I love about this restaurant is that its ran by a local asian family! You can see them working hard night and day 7 days a week, and you can really taste the love in their food! Keep up to good work. Ill be returning always.

Delicious food at a reasonable price, with friendly service and a clean environment. Literally what more could you ask for? My go-to is their honey lemon grass chicken w/ noodles, and their bubble tea is great too. I bring all my friends here and they love it!! Highly recommend giving it a try

First time in and you HAVE to go! Hospitable staffs & chefs, welcoming environment topped with a seasonal, yet extensive menu makes you want to go back and try everything on it. It is nice to know such a delicious, yet affordable restaurant exists here! The staffs were very polite and made great recommendations for me and my family. I feel so fortunate to have a local restaurant give so much in all aspects to bring about a happy experience for their customers. I love it and will, for sure, be returning to taste everything on the menu.

One of my fave places! When I want to treat myself, I always think about their food. The family that run the restaurant are incredibly hard-working and kind people -- not only do they serve quality food, they also give quality service! EMW has always followed all protocols necessary and accommodates customers as best they can, so the recent negative reviews are baseless. On an already tough season, theres no need to make it tougher on small businesses. EMW will always be a definite recommend!

Lovely family owned and operated restaurant you will not want to miss! My family and I have been dining in here for years. Before EMW, we have had the pleasure to have dined in the familys previous restaurants over 15+ years. The chef and his family have become a family friends of ours, and they are one of the kindest people you will meet. Their asian fusion dishes absolutely delicious, it has always been a treat for our family. We LOVE their spring rolls (unlike any other). If youre looking to support local restaurants in Langley I highly recommend. They wholeheartedly care about health and safety of their guests, and known always have practiced protocols during and pre COVID. I see that there are a lot of positive feedback from guests that see what we do, and we couldnt agree more!

I ve been going to EMW for bubble tea for over fifteen years. It s changed hands and names a few times in that decade and a half, but the quality has never changed. EMW has the best bubble tea in the lower mainland, absolutely a hidden gem in the bubble tea world. The staff are great, I can t recommend this place enough. Try the taro slush :D

This place is a joke. One guy in the back doing the cooking. I was turned away when I came in to order takeout because they were apparently too busy to fulfill my order .

This is a small place, but the food is fantastic, and the owners are super nice. The kitchen is small so some meals will come out staggered abit, but the first meal served is hot when the last plate arrives. Once youve tasted the food your mind is on nothing else.
