Used to love this place, but the chicken (non bone-in) feels like you are eating 90% breading 10% chicken.. it wasn’t like this before. Because of this, it feels like you are biting into crunchy oil, and is not juicy. Fries are Ok.
This place has been my go-to place for years - the food here is definitely superb and the service has been great all the time. But today’s experience was very disappointing. Me and my husband were told to sit by the window but we were feeling little chilly thus we asked if we could sit inside at the booth table. But server said it was only for 4ppl which was quite questionable since the table we were told to be seated was also capacity of 4ppl. Anyways, we took the table as we were told to but the tablet on the table was off so we were unable to order any food. We waited for the server to come, expecting her to offer us some water. While waiting, I found out that the table hasn’t been wiped, all the sticky sauce drips left on the table. We needed the server even more at this point, but she never bothered to come and offer us any service. The last trigger was when we found out there was a man who was sitting at the booth table all by himself and we thought maybe he was just sitting down waiting for his take-out order, otherwise it didn’t make sense. But no he was dine-in customer. After seeing that and waiting for the server for more than 10mins, we decided to just leave. Always has been a fan of this restaurant and all the servers I’ve met here were very nice but because of this experience, I am not coming back for a while.
Last night, I tried Korean fried chicken at CHITOS for the first time. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned. They also have their own signature menu. Best of all, the two servers were very friendly and attentive to the tables. I definitely want to go back.

Great little place Went here for dinner with the family. Ordered the full size order of original KFC, a pitcher of beer, tofu kimchi and fish cake soup. It was the perfect amount for the 4 of us. The chicken was crisp and tasty …. it’s not all dark meat so beware of the chicken breast. It was the first time having tofu kimchi which I would get again but I don’t see it offered at a lot of places. The fish cake soup was the least favourite dish as it was mostly broth with not enough fish cake. A pitcher of beer at $20 was an excellent deal as 3 of us were able to get 3 glasses each out of it. They also offer other decent dishes other than chicken even though they advertise themselves as a chicken and beer restaurant. If we lived closer we’d come back more often because there’s a good variety of food and the service is friendly and fast. The fried chicken comes with a bottomless salad that seems to be coleslaw with corn mixed in. I’d prefer the typical pickled radish. Maybe they offer the radish if you ask but we didn’t get any with our order.
We have dined at CHITOS several times and have enjoyed every bite. This is friendly food meant to be simple and delicious. They make no pretenses at CHITOS, they are targetted at people wanting quick and tasty food, accompanied by beer or soju, in an atmosphere best enjoyed between friends. They hit five stars on everything. The restaurant is simple. It is dimly lit, with a bare concrete painted floor, and counter near the back. There is always a steady stream of takeaway orders being picked up; but we dine in by sitting at one of several booths or tables. Everything is clean and well maintained. Service is quick and friendly. You will be greeted as you come in and offered a place to sit. Menus are accompanied by fresh cold water in a carafe, as is common in Korean restaurants. Orders are taken with a smile and it is all done with the bustle that accompanies working in a small intimate restaurant. The food is simple and delicious. Korean fried chicken is the most prevalent menu item and we prefer a dish of fried dark meat chunks in a sweet sauce and covered in shredded green onion and hot chillies. We have also enjoyed kimchi fried rice. It's all hot and fresh. We recommend cold beer or soju with this food. While these items are on menus at other similar restaurants, CHITOS does them better in our opinion. We recommend CHITOS chicken as a great choice when you want quick and unfussy dining. It is filling and delicious. Go there after a round of golf, when you get a late craving for Korean fried chicken, or for your diet cheat day. It's worth your time and money.
Our group of 4 came in at 8PM and the restaurant was half full with one longer table in the middle reserved and one occupied by staff eating their dinner. When we said table for 4, the server asked if we had reservations then looked at her watch as if the place was closing. She sat us begrudgingly so it was kind of off putting. Ordered the golden fries and two orders of chicken (that come with daikon) and rice. Fries had a nice seasoning to them. The soy garlic was light in flavour and I wish it packed more of a punch because it seemed like we had just ordered the original flavour. The soonsal was nicely flavoured with a good tinge of spice. A bit pricy for Korean chicken ($27) as there are other establishments that offer more for less cost. Regardless of the service, we were all fed and full but I don’t know if I would rush back.
Delicious chicken, adding another chapter in my love affair with Korean Fried Chicken! Fresh and tasty, albeit a bit greasy. All in all I'd say this should be on your list for Korean food. Service was great and food came out quickly, give them a try for their different varieties of traditional chicken and selection of sides!
My go to place for Korean Fried Chicken in Langley.. The quality is consistent and the service is always good.

food is good but portions are concerningly small. service was also pretty bad. the server that was there did not look like she wanted to be there at all and wasnt really afraid to show it. dont think well be returning.
I went to have a quick beer in the evening, and the guide was very comfortable and friendly, and it was great to eat delicious whole chicken and chat. However, Im so sad that its over so quickly. It closes at 11pm.
I will never order anywhere else. Staff is friendly, efficient and kind. Atmosphere is nice for dine-in.

I went last Friday, and the server was so kind that I had a happy time~ I ordered green onion chicken and it tasted the best. The cream onion was also really delicious. Thanks to the friendly server, I was able to enjoy my meal even more.

Have Cheetos changed owners? I submitted it here today and bought it, but the amount seems to have decreased significantly. The portion size was reasonable and the taste was reasonable, so I bought it often, but I dont think I will go again. In particular, the rose tteokbokki costs about $17 and the portion size is huge. It was written seriously. I am very, very disappointed.
BEWARE OF THE PRICES ON THEIR WEBSITE. I regularly order takeout there and after this experience it may be my last time. I placed an order on their website and pay in store. To my surprise they were charging me $2 more than what my order confirmation shows. I showed the staff my order confirmation. She tells me one of the item has increased by $2. I thought she was gonna enter the amount as stated on my order confirmation on the machine. Instead she still enters the higher amount. I could have easily said I dont want that item because the price is not what I expect it to be. $2 is just around 3% of my entire order and they were not willing to adjust it. Im not the type that haggles. I just paid and told myself not to go again.
They closed 40 minutes early without warning and still wouldn t make food to go - food is fantastic they are brutal for when they claim their open and when they actually are

Visited the store after a long time In addition to a variety of chicken, alcoholic snacks are provided. I dont think theres any need to go all the way to Coquitlam to drink unnecessarily. What was a bit disappointing was the corn salad that came with SIDE DISH. Disappointed that the quantity is a bit small
Best chicken in metro Vancouver
I ordered and ate Cream Onion Chicken with Togo, but the onions tasted like raw chicken so much that I threw away all the onions. It looks like you also cleaned the onions while cutting the raw chicken. The next day, I had a hard time with a stomach ache. I dont think I will order it anymore.

A place that makes you feel like you are at a Korean pub. They sell menu items that are not common in Canada, such as green onion chicken, onion chicken, and fried chicken, so you can enjoy a variety of chicken.

Terrible service. Came in at 11pm and it says they close at 12am on a Friday. The worker told us they are full - which they were... as we were talking a table was just getting up to leave. We asked if we could be seated there, she then proceeded to say the tills were already closed eventhough theres a full house with some tables that havent received their food yet. If you want to close early then change your restaurant hours, dont go making stuff up. Disappointed with the staff and service received.

Its a bit expensive, but the location is good and its delicious, so I order here often. When I picked up the green onion chicken and ate it when I got home, the meat inside seemed under-fried and had a sour smell. This has never happened before, so I thought he must have been busy and went back to tell him the situation. When asked if I wanted a refund, I said I wanted to get a new one even if I had to wait and waited. However, the attitude of the woman, whether the employee or the owner, was so unpleasant that no matter how much I thought about it, I thought this was not the case, so I am leaving a review. I think you felt that I was asking for a new update while you were busy, so it was just a matter of making a fuss over something that wasnt a big deal. At least thats how I felt. I asked him if he was upset because he didnt think there was a problem, and he said, When we tried it, there wasnt a problem. We ate the same chicken all day. There was no problem selling it, but the customer said there was no problem. I understand. However, if even one or two pieces of chicken are undercooked, what do I gain by going back to the store, telling them about the inconvenient situation, and waiting to receive the chicken? The weather was nice and I was in a good mood, so I felt a bit down in the evening and had a very unpleasant experience. I really like this store, but I hope they improve their service.

Horrible chicken place. I ordered chicken for dinner tonight because the kids wanted it. When I got home and opened the take-out, I was so shocked and disappointed. It seemed like they fried chicken skin, not chicken meat. It was so thin and unsatisfying. I didnt want to eat fried chicken chips. I called and was told they would make a new one for me, but I didnt think it would be any different, so I requested a refund. They said I had to go back to drop it if I wanted a refund. I feel sorry for the kids who couldnt even have dinner, and Im so mad that they handled it this way. Who will compensate us for the time we wasted picking up and dropping off this chicken for dinner? They totally agreed that chicken is wrong and apologized, but they didnt do any action to make it right. If you dont want to waste your precious dinner time, I suggest not ordering from here.
We havent been very impressed the last few times weve ordered from this restaurant. The chicken is all dark meat, and we have found there is a lot of breading with not a lot of meat and the meat is quite stringy and tough. They do have good chicken fried rice though.
Looks good, but unfortunately they don t do half orders. Which is annoying because I don t really feel like spending $28 on an order just for myself when my spouse won t eat any of it (she s a vegetarian), so 50% of it will be wasted. Chicko Chicken just oriented near me, and they do half orders, which is perfect for dinner. So I ll he going there.

The chicken was very crispy and the green onions and sauce were so delicious ~ Even the kids enjoyed it! The Korean seasoned chicken is plentiful and the sauce tastes just like the one I had in Korea. Theres a great chicken restaurant in Vancouver nearby! 100% repeat visit

I ate the chicken packaged and it was delicious. However, I had to pick it up while passing by from afar, so I told them the time slot, but it was disappointing that they only insisted on the time when the food would be prepared.

A lady who worked on Friday evening... You are so very unkind. Every time I go, I feel it several times before and write a review. I understand that you may be distracted because the store is busy and noisy, but You cant pass that on to your customers. Im still looking at the menu. Can I take it? And take it away I went to pay, but they just threw the bill at me without saying anything. He almost threw the card and put it down. Thank you. Never said a word. The expression on your face is annoying I couldnt find the words to say thank you for receiving this kind of service, so I just left.
We did take out couple times here but always behind on their pickups. Foods are good but if you re going to do pickup, schedule it 20 mins before your arrival time.

Went in at 10:30 knowing the restaurant closed at 11 and was refused a take out order. There were several customers in the restaurant but we could not put in a very small order to take out of the restaurant. Very frustrating...if you want to close at 10:30 then do but dont say you are open until 11 and them not really be open.

if there is one thing I can say about chitos is that their food quality is very consistent. I try to order from the restaurant first instead of uber as much as I can, as I really appreciate that they do not raise their uber prices to account for the uber fees the restaurant pays, packaging etc. The spicy sweet chicken, beef fried rice and golden cheese fries are a weekly staple in our household. The ONLY thing I docked them for ( and really it should only be half star but google only allows a whole star) is that because I eat there so often, i can see a HUGE variance in the AMOUNT of food I get. Their portions arent the most controlled but I am still a loyal customer! Overall I 100% recommend this place!

Their food is extra salty I found, but that is expected of them since they want to encourage drinking beer. The staff and their service level is somewhat mediocre at best - no smile from them and they dont seem to be experienced servers. The place itself is very minimum in terms of facility, menu options, and the general ambience.
Its delicious, but the amount of Rose Tteokbokki is too small for human purposes. There are about 20 rice cakes. Too good for $17

Easily the best fried chicken joint in Langley. Definitely beats out DK Chicken, and Rib & Chicken for sure. Both the bone in and boneless variety are always cooked perfectly. Very consistent food.
About 5-6cm of plastic came out of the salad, so I was worried before uploading it. I informed them of the situation over the phone, but I was a little angry at the staffs attitude. It is dangerous even if an adult swallows it, but if a child swallows it, it could be a serious problem. They say there is no plastic in the chicken so you can eat it with confidence? I dont think this is right....
I definitely go once or twice a week. I even go drinking alone. Ive been to most of the Korean chicken restaurants in Vancouver. The boneless type is really the best here! (I ve never tried bone-in chicken) I also highly recommend the cheese buldak. (Its not that spicy, but they make it spicy if you tell them when ordering.) The price is reasonable and the quantity is plentiful. Above all, be kind. In all my time here, I have never been offended. It drags people around. I always get good reviews when I go there, which makes me feel good. Absolutely recommend this place Service Taste price

We have ordered a few times from Chitos, but this last time, my husband order and both pork cutlet and chicken were so dry. Both meats were over fried and the taste was different. Very disappointed

Very very very SOUR Jjambbong tang soup. Extremely sour as if someone POURED vinegar in it. This is going straight to the garbage. Nothing but sour broth and veggies for $17.75. I dont understand why, or how its sooooo sour?? Thanks a lot for ruinning my first restaurant meal after being sick for 2 weeks. I really needed this food to be at least... average. Learn from my mistake, folks.
Wow, I think I ordered it at least 5 times (including Uber), but today I thought it wasnt real, so Im attaching a photo. The moment it was delivered and I unpacked it, my family was shocked and thought it wasnt right. First of all, even if we take into account that the amount of boneless chicken is less than that of bone-in chicken, the amount was too small (it barely covers the bottom of the box, and the box is not that big). Meanwhile, half of the fried batter was in pieces. At $25, its not particularly cheap compared to other places... I also ordered pork cutlet, but I guess I should have just eaten it at a pork cutlet restaurant. The price was $18, and the sauce didnt suit my taste, so I just ate it with ketchup. I dont know if there are differences/ups and downs depending on who the chef is working in the kitchen, or if it was because I was too busy today, and I wonder if the owner knows... I was laughing the whole time because I was chewing on the batter and not the chicken. I will never order it again. I think I usually dont leave harsh reviews, but today was truly the best ever. I dont think Ill ever order it again..
OMG the soy chicken here! Ive tried most of the flavours but that was my favourite. The honey butter flavour is definitely worth a try though its an acquired taste. The kimchi fried rice is very flavourful and worth the expense. Ive tried several Korean Chicken places in Walnut Grove and Willoughby and I prefer the crispier chicken here.

This is the best Korean chicken place!! We always get the Dak Gung Jung and the Honey butter flavor. It s amazing. Anna and her team always give top notch customer service, very polite and generous portions.

Outstanding service and atmosphere! Delicious and authentic fried chicken. We only tried the half and half fried chicken (and fries) and it was so yummy. Comes with picked radish and another side. Great beer and soju as well... We are so happy to have a Korean fried chicken place in our neighbourhood. Can t wait to go back!

My husband says the fried chicken is the best. They say it tastes much better than any other Korean brand. The green onion chicken was given a lot of green onions, and the cream onions were also very delicious. Its so nice to have a delicious chicken restaurant in front of my house

If youre unsure of what to order, trust me, try this place. I thought the cheese fries sounded nasty, but when I got them they were soo good. The prawn fried rice is great as well
It reminds me of cheese chicken in Korea. I often order chipotle, it s delicious :) But today, there are a lot of things with only half of the cheese powder on them. Cheese powder and cheese are sprinkled only on the top. If you turn it over to the other side, its just fried food. It was a chipping ring, but I was disappointed because it felt like there was little cheese powder.

Their creamy and onion boneless chicken was so yummy. I found the chicken in general to be up there with Boom Beer at Guildford which is my go to local Korean chicken place. Also gave me extra radish on side when asked :)
This was some of the most delicious chicken we have ever eaten. Super fresh, juicy and crispy. I had some of the red sauce that came with it (not too spicy, but amazing) and my daughter had hers plain. We will definitely be back

This is my go-to Korean Chicken place, I love the staff especially this one server but I dont know her name! They are always pretty busy, which makes me happy Im glad their business is doing well! Every time I go in I always order the soy garlic chicken or the spiciest one I recommend either one :) Im glad we have food places like this one in Langley!

Almost all of the chicken is delicious and the jjamppong soup is Korean style with a really fiery taste. They responded quickly to feedback and the server was very friendly. For your information, the owner is the same as the Chinese restaurant owner. Sweet and sour pork has started again and there is also draft beer
