Service wasn t very good. Staff were not friendly. Corn was burnt. Food was mediocre. Will not be going back.

*Read before ordering online* Ordered online through the website. The food never came. I called the store, and they told me it s NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. I said I paid for it through their website, but they asked me to go and check with Doordash. I asked for the name of the person I was talking to, and she wouldn t. Unbelievable. Never mentioned any refund, but refused to take responsibility. This is SCAMMING. One of the WORST EXPERIENCES EVER. I hope someone will take action on this and respond to it. An update: I contacted Nandos main customer service, and they provided steps and resolved the issue. They were courteous as well. The other Nandos branches might be good, but not this one.

Chickens are getting smaller in the sandwich, I am afraid well get no Chicken in few years in Chicken sandwich.

Horribly small portions. Franchisee is definitely breaking all terms with Nandos. Do yourself a favor and get the food from the Nandos at the Langley Bypass.

We love Nandos! Their chicken is juicy and flavorful. We wish they had a location near us in the Fraser Valley.

Great taste. Chicken with the consistency of a tennis shoe. Butterfly chicken breast was more the size of a Cornish Game Hen. Good flavour. Expensive for what it is.

Worst Nando s I have ever ate! Garlic bread - burnt Chicken - burnt Fries - cold And we were dining in! Won t be back to this location. They have the option of fountain drinks but don t offer it just offer bottled drinks and no condiments are left outside you have to ask for them!

My kids love this place ever since, even when we where still back in Doha Qatar. Its one of our go to weekend resto to go when we are outside and thinking of dining in. They provided a special taste on the grilled chicken and savor the original specy and sweet taste of the grilled.

Take out Lemon Grilled Chicken was just perfect, all you need is toum.

First time here and only ordered the chicken livers, medium. Service was great for lunch time and food was what I was hoping for. Now I want to try the chicken dishes.

The food was the best part and I gave 5 * , but the staff should be polite and friendly which I gave 3* . Ambiance was good I gave 4* .

We celebrated a birthday lunch here for 11 people and the food and service was excellent. We bought 2 large platters. Tony and staff were most helpful with all our requests which included putting 3 tables together and putting our birthday cake in the fridge and bringing it out when we requested with plates and forks. I would highly recommend this Nandos over any others I have been to. Thank you Tony and staff.

The service was fine, and the cashier was friendly + the facility was clean and welcoming. However, we ordered pulled chicken sandwiches that came to our tables on surprisingly dry buns, and the chicken was not pulled. It was cut into strips with the outer layer of the chicken so overcooked and hard that my husband and I both feared we were chewing on bones and pulled pieces out of our mouths. He was hungry enough that he cleaned his plate anyway, but I could not finish my sandwich as it was very unenjoyable in comparison to previous nandos visits. For $48.73 spent on dinner for 2, I definitely had higher expectations and was let down severely.

I wish i could give 0 star for service. Most pathetic service. I came here for the first time and will make sure no one from my friends will visit this location. Server was in a rush and answer to most of our requested things were we dont serve here. And she sounded like i m asking about the things she never heard before. Like about sauces they have filled bottle with one sauce its same in Medium and Hot and im sure in other labelled bottles as well. Because upon requesting she told us its on the counter and there is not a single bottle there. Then i have requested for ketchup she is like we dont serve here i repeated you dont serve ketchup she went and brought a new bottle of ketchup. This server must needs to learn some manners we were sitting and she without asking or speaking picked sauce from our table. Chicken was burnt and fries were like crackers. Im sorry i dont have anything good to write about my visit. Will never return

The service in this branch is very bad, the people who serve seem as if they are always like angry (especially the maam). Plus, if you order takeout they will NEVER give you sauces. The last time I went they didnt give me, so I asked for a couple of sauces because I really love them and they only gave me one... Anyway, simple things can change everything. I will definitely never return again.

Had lunch here and couldn t be more disappointed, regret coming here and wasting $45, the fries were old and HARD disgusting, the chicken super chewy, turned me off to all Nandos because of this location

Was pretty disappointed in the chicken sandwich. Chicken is probably half the size it needs to be. Sad sandwich.

I called in an order for a full pack and they said 10-12 min. It took me 20 min to get there and they asked me to pay so I did then I still had to wait 15 min to get my order. The chicken was burnt, the garlic bread was burnt, they shorted me on my mash potatoes, and the fries are not peri fries they sprinkle seasoning on regular fries. Try out the location in metrotown mall and you ll notice the difference. The walnut grove location will cheap out on you.

First time visitor, and I was quite pleased with my experience. I arrived during the dinner hour last Wednesday; there were a few other guests seated at tables, but the ambience was still quite silent and chill, which was very pleasant. I ordered the quarter-chicken with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts as sides and took a seat. The food came in a reasonable amount of time, and was tasty and filling. Well prepared and displayed. The servers that evening were friendly and helpful too. All around positive experience.

Called in an order for 20 people. The fries were stale/overdone, really bad. I order from here regularly, Busch league lunch today for sure. I wouldnt suggest calling in an order, seems like these guys have a history of failing at the larger orders.

Stopped in for a quick dinner to bring home and ordered the halloumi and sweet potato wrap with peri fries and an egg tart. The fries and tart were delicious and I would absolutely return to get them in the future. The sweet potatoes in the wrap weren t cooked all the way through and were very crunchy/almost inedible and the wrap was hard/stale as well. Flavour wise it was very tasty but I hope they improve their veggie options in the future. Very hard working staff.

Ordered chicken wrap...chicken burger and 2 sides for $34. Sides were fries and a container of rice. $4.46 to add cheese to wrap...chicken in wrap dry and chewy...interac terminal set up to kill payment if no tip entered...we ordered and picked up to go at counter...

Buyer Beware. Weve noticed this more than x1: when you pay by card the cashier doesnt enter the correct total on your receipt. One time seems like an honest cashier mistake, but more than once is intentional or pure negligence - especially when management can tell their tills after each day arent balanced. Each time the amount on the debit machine was more than the amount due. The difference in the amount varied each time. Our least favorite Nandos (we prefer the Guildford or Langley City location) but this location is closest to us.

Of your looking for fast food this is a must try. The sides were fresh and delicious the chicken was seasoned great and moist. And they had great customer service even came by all the tables to see if everything was good.

I visited nandos walnut grove to have my lunch the food was delicious, a wonderful tour of local specialities with excellent presentation. Each course was well balanced, great textures and flavours. Highly recommended!

If you are craving for a good flavored chicken Nandos is a place to check in. Whole chicken meal is worth for the price. Great place with your family to have a great evening dinner. There sauce is great and unbeatable flavor. Perperi potato wedges are worth to try. Parking: Walnut Grove location has a lots of parking including wheel chair parking.

Food is good. Unfortunately customer service is lacking. Ill be coming back for probably just pick up but dine in was not that much of a memorable experience! Hope they work on that and improve in the near future as it used to be one ofy favorite spots

Always order from here. IMO get the family pack, medium chicken always get it well done. Very very good. Only thing compared to other locations, they dont give as many fries. Other locations will do open box of fries with the box having fries heap out. This location keeps it minimal.

Very tasty chicken, whether in a sandwich, a wrap or with rice, whatever spice level we choose. And the peri peri fries too take fries to a new level. The place has always been well maintained, clean and the staff always professional and efficient.

I bought a whole chicken with 2 sides and I got 1 side when I got home . Called and left a message. No one bothered to call me back. And I asked for extra basing on the chicken , but they didnt put any .

DO NOT go to this place. I repeat do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO to this place. Me and my family had a terrible experience here. We were robbed , pickpocketed, INSIDE this location. The owners refuse to collaborate with the police and we have reason to believe it was a member of their own staff since they were RUDE and were in a rush to kick us out of the place. It RUINED our family vacation and left is without any money to do any activity. Shame on them!

Not my cup of tea. The food seems to lack any sort of body. Just sharp, all be it pleasant flavors.

My order was late by over 10 minutes and they also forgot the garlic mashed potatoes and laughed in the back when I asked where are the garlic mashed potatoes? And they said another 2 minutes (which ended being 6 minutes) on top of the extra 10 minutes late originally.. Also, nobody was wearing a haircut while handling the food and didnt wash their hands in-between. As far as a spicy kale caesar salad goes.. only 3 tiny pieces of kale in the entire salad, plus barley any dressing... thoroughly disappointed in this visit tbh... always relied on Nandos for their food and service, but as soon as they got rid of their peri peri wedges..I feel nandos has unfortunately gone down hill... :/

I got dinner for 2 whole chicken and fries. I usually take out and eat at home many times but today 2 whole chicken was horrible which was so dried out not fresh at all and no sauce ... I was so disappointed. I wont order again. When my husband call and tell them about it they didnt say anything. It cooked like long time ago not just cooked when I ordered. I really disappointed about that. I payed over 60 dollars and didnt eat cause of taste was horrible.

The food was good. We only had water to drink. We were given a cold jug after we sat down. We didnt receive any further service. We asked for refills on the water and they took the jug away and refilled our glasses with room temperature water only. I guess you are only allowed one jug per sitting. The staff were not very friendly.

Love Nando s but this location has been disappointing every time we ordered there. The food usually isn t as fresh and tasty as in other locations and the service isn t great either. We ordered the boneless butterfly chicken breast today and were told they were sold out, but we could have the chicken breast instead. It would just be 2 pieces instead of one . When we opened the box at home we were shocked with the size of the chicken breast. We were expecting 1 chicken breast cut in 2 filets for $14 (same price as the 1/2 chicken) but the filets were TINY!!! Total rip-off! It was clearly not a chicken breast cut in 2 filets!! The mashed potato portion size was also smaller than last time, but to be fair, it s probably not just this location.

Was in a rush and asked for take out. The guy confirmed with me and I saw him reach over to the cutlery. When I later on opened the bag he had only given me a fork. 1 fork to eat a 1/2 chicken? How did he expect that to work?

I rarely give bad reviews, but I have to for this Nando. I go in with coupons (from school) from our kids schools. We have 2ppl and order 2 separate takeouts to use 2 coupons. The owner said we can only use one because we are 1 table. But it is 2 take out orders. In other places that never happened to us. The worst is his attitude and tone. He said I am the owner and I dont have to do your business and I giving you coupon is good customer service already Is that customer service? If you release coupons, isnt that advertisement to promote and get new customers or reward loyal customers? He sounded like we owned him something because we use coupon. Why bother give out coupon and give an unhappy face to your customer so they feel bad. We left and not ordered anything. Now I dont even want to eat at other Nandos.

They are very busy in arranging stock, they don t bother to reply back to the customer weird look I leave back to the car. Better to find another restaurant

This is by far the worst Nando s outlet I ve ever experienced. The food was terrible. I m used to delicious juicy grilled chicken. But the half chicken I got was so dried out and charred. Honestly the breast meat was like chewing on an old tire. I complained to the server and was met with a blank look and no apology, no offer to rectify the situation. Even the way the plated the food was sloppy. It felt like some cheap cafeteria rather than a restaurant. I will never visit this location again. The Coquitlam branch is far superior.

A little disapointing as the manager /owner missed our drinks when bringing the food to the table. It would be nice after paying to get a thank you as well. Chicken was great , coleslaw dry and dressing wasn`t enough and tasteless, rice was slightly undercooked ( a little hard).

Got a portobello wrap and coleslaw. Wrap had very little mushroom and a single peace of lettice. Asked for pineapple, tasted like they added chicken? Hope not. Coleslaw tasted like it was made with watered down mayo? I will not be returning here, it was definitely not worth the cost. Very disappointed.

The chicken bowl was alright. Pineapple wasnt grilled, and avocado was rock hard, but the recipe isnt too bad.

I ordered a half chicken to go, when I got home and opened it up there was a 1.5 inch strip cut out of the middle of my chicken breast. It was obvious the cook had cut out a large piece to eat themselves, then served me the remaining chicken at full price....unbelievable. I recommend eating literally anywhere else.

Food is great. BUT! The Interac POS system adds tips. They range from 15 to 25%!!! I tried choosing my own amount, pressed F4 and it auto chose 15% for me. At that point I was over it. The tipping does not really seem optional. This method is not standard. I ve not seen it anywhere else.

Foods were good. The table couldve been cleaner.

Ordered a full meal with two sides. When we went to pick up, they were out of corn so we subd a salad. The staff member who was operating the front till went into the kitchen and without washing hands or putting on gloves, packed our salad using bare hands - really disturbing from a hygiene perspective, and to be honest ruined the meal for us thinking about how the other food items were prepared.

Spiced rice was soggy. I ordered the quarter chicken and no sauce was included. I thought that would have been automatic. I should have asked at this store. Cause every time I ask at a different Nando s store, they would always say it s already in the bag.

Location on google says it closes at 9:30. The door outside says they close at 9:30. I wouldn t of been so annoyed if they weren t so rude and shut off the lights when I walked in at 8:50.

2 stars only because they do not fill the skewers like the other Langley location. Sometimes a third of the skewer is bare... When you go to Langley bypass location they fill it and you cant see the skewer! Maybe its to save money? Update: They dont know where to order potatoes from so they can make wedges.

Called to place a to go order. I asked if there was egg in the ceaser dressing. The guy in the phone was rude and reluctant to check. When he came back on the phone he said there egg. . I told him thanks anyways I ll have to pass on that item. He hung up on me before I could order the rest of our families dinner. No bye, nothing. Not the first time the staff there have been rude. Will skip nandos due to their lack of manner.

Nice food fady service

I m a huge fan of Nando s and just had the most disappointing experience. We usually place our order at the Langley or Guildford location. This time we were closer to Walnut Grove, so we ordered from this particular store. We got a huge order of wings with fries, 2 double leg combos with 2 sides each and the Portuguese style liver appetizer. We spent over 70 dollars and given that we eat Nando s on a regular basis, were expecting it to be, well, good. The wings were charred, dry and tasted fishy. There was also a cooked hair on one of them. Both double legs were dry, had no sauce and tasted the exact same, when one was supposed to be medium and the other extra hot . Both ceaser salads were soggy. The liver tasted fishy as well which was very strange. Ended up taking pics and saving the food to show the restaurant. When I called in, a manager told me he wasn t working Friday so he couldn t do anything about my experience; and followed it with No one else complained about the food so.. . That s probably because you ignored your customers and they were on Google giving you a 1 star review. Wish I d checked Google before going in cause there are a lot of 1 star reviews on this store. Manager told me that I would have to take it up with the owner and said owner would contact me directly the next morning. Nobody contacted me the next day at all. That was an expensive lesson to learn, a.k.a avoid this Nando s location like the plague. Below-average food with even greater below-average service, if that s possible.

Love the taste of Nandoos chicken with spicy peri-peri sauce. Unfortunately the potato wedges are unavailable on busy days. Otherwise it is a great experience. Had dined in and takeout many days. Parking: Psrking Just outside the restaurant. Lots of parking spots.

As part of a 100$ order had the avocado Bowl added the half avocado. Once home it had Feta cheese all over it. Extremely alergic to cheese could have killed me. But everyone makes mistakes and I am well aware of that so called to inform them and was hung up on. EXTREMELY dissapointing to see that a restaurant would not be at all interested in being responsible to possibly put someone in the hospital. To add isult to injury did not get the extra half Avocado we paid for either.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I spoke with the manager and she was extremely rude and unhelpful. They missed items in my order and she wanted to take no responsibility and wouldn t let me speak to her on the phone, instead she kept having one of her employees relay the information. When she finally got on the phone, I asked her to remedy the situation and she hung up . Avoid this place at all costs!

Was there last night and we love their chicken. Priced reasonably too. And the staff are kind. I definitely recommend this place for amazing food.

Awesome food, really nice people

I dont know about you but good, saucy, homestyle baked chicken is hard to beat. My stomachs not one for spice so went for the mango and lime. Absolutely loved it and brought bake many memories of growing up in Africa! Really enjoyed the fries too and if you fancy a little taste of Portuguese culture, make sure to grab a Pastéis de Nata (custard tart)!

They are not polite. After paid 95$ I did order Two and half chicken with extra garlic bread. The order should be have 24 pieces of bread, they give me just 12. When I called them m, said no your order have enough stuff and we never made any mistake. It s my last time here.

I really appreciate the behavior of every staff member working at this place. Moreover, Everything looks really neat and clean. A safe and good environment for everyone to enjoy their meal. Juicy chicken with delicious spice

Okay so I love Nandos, but what a disappointment this time around. I ordered a full party pack which includes 3 LARGE SIDES.. I don t know what they consider large, but it s certainly not what the average human considers a large. This was an $81 RIP.OFF. Plain and simple, the large veggie is the size of my girlfriends hand . The menu says it s supposed to feed 6 people. As comical as it is, it s embarrassing when you re hosting people.. I hope Nandos reads this :)

I ordered lunch at this restaurant and picked up. For 16 bucks I only received an over-grilled chicken leg, four small pieces of breads and a drink. It took them quite a while to get my order together. From my understanding Nandos is just one of the fast food brands. Also I have not seen this ridiculousness at any other Nandos locations. Don t go to this place if you have a second choice.

Nando s is always my second home. Staff is extremely friendly. Loved the Peri Peri fries.Yumm Super clean and well organized store. Stay guys happy and safe.

15-20 min wait for takeout became an hour, felt brushed off by staff. Poor service but food was good. Waited at starbucks for an hour (periodically checking in) till my food was done.

I ordered 10 wings lemon and herb. The wings I got were stale there were not fresh and not lemon and herb seemed there were hot and then they tried to make them into lemon and herb with little to no sauce. I was so disappointed after waiting a long time the wings tasted like there were going bad. Please make sure the food is actually fresh and safe. Someone could really be sick from this. Go to the Langley City one instead

Arrived at 8:45, it says they close at 9:30 but the person at the cashier said only chicken is available and we can t dine in. She very rude and disrespectful, do not recommend for anyone.

So disappointed! I ordered a plain chicken for my toddler. I mentioned it twice that I need plain for kid. After 30 minutes we received hot as f* chicken. My toddler started crying that it burns and I felt it too. Even my husband who loves spicy food and had a hot chicken for himself noticed the spice and assured me it was not plain. It looks like it was marinated or covered in hot sauce. I asked the waitress if theres any mistake because the food is spicy and we cant eat it. She said no and went away. No apologies, no substitute. They never came over again. What an awfull experience!

So fast food is fast food and my expectations aren t very high. However one would think, especially during these more difficult times that an owner would run their company realizing that good customer service is a must. And at the very least, be friendly. So here is the breakdown of my one star review: We called in ahead to order a large order of potato wedges. They said to come now they already have them ready. I walked over (2 minutes away) and the wedges weren t ready and weren t even started yet. Ok, no big deal, I can wait 5 minutes. What really put me off was the unfriendly, unwelcome I received. No smile, no welcome, no interest in me as a customer what so ever. I have had similar experiences the past 2 other visits to this location, and now realize this is the culture of that Nandos. Given the fact that you can buy fast food anywhere, I will not be wasting my money supporting this location. I do not recommend ordering from this location, stay away. Go somewhere else where, at the very least, you get a genuine welcome and thank you and will feel good supporting their business.

Nandos in Walnut Grove staff is amazing! They care so much about front line workers, the manager of that location came and brought my staff and entire lunch for 20 people as a thank you for working during this covid 19 crisis! We all really appreciate it!! Thank you so much!

Ordered through skip the dishes along with my co-workers at work. Got our food, barely any sauce on anything. Didnt follow the basic instructions we asked for. We would have ordered from the location on Langley Bypass, but they are are temporarily closed.

The service was so good and the place was also hygenic. And talking about food it was yummmm

Really enjoy their wraps and rice

This clown show tried to charge me $1.59 for a side of mayo for my fries. I can buy an entire jar at Walmart for $2.87. The greed here was completely unreasonable and if this is corporate wide rather than just this location I wont be back to Nandos again, period.
