Such a pathetic food and customer service. The sandwich was not good at all . Coffee taste garbage

The Bulgigi Pannini was excellent. Will try Cage Ricotta again soon.

They serve you impatiently and in a bad mood, they argue amongst themselves, the place smells of pure condiments, it is hot, the music is very loud, in short, very unpleasant.

Between 7 and 8 PM on September 23rd (there were no customers waiting) I ordered mara cream tteokbokki, peach iced tea, and crople, but it didnt come out even after about 40 minutes of ordering, so I waited in the hall and went to the counter to ask. The server, who had been looking at his phone for about 40 minutes, didnt give us food even though it came out because he was just looking at his phone lol.. The mara cream tteokbokki with udon noodles was all broken and it was a mess.

Very friendly service, and reasonable prices for coffee. Will come back.

They had many different flavours of cake on display, but a few werent available for purchase because they were frozen and needed a day to thaw. When my order was brought out, I was informed that one of the cakes I ordered was also frozen and couldnt be sold. I had to get a refund, but I don t understand why they didn t mention this when I was ordering. It s confusing why they would display cakes that arent available for sale. Im also surprised they even had frozen cakes and not fresh ones. I have no idea how long those cakes have been frozen.

I ordered a mugwort latte and it was so delicious that I ordered another cup. But when I got home, I found that the bottom cup I ate from and the cup I ordered and didnt eat (the top cup) were almost the same amount. Isnt this a bubble price? If this is the case; I almost want to get a refund. (I swear I will never say it. Because I have to give it to someone else.)

I always eat rose tteokbokki! Its a delicious restaurant haha the salad is delicious and the dalgona latte is my favorite :)

Affordable pasta and paining with great taste!

I don t know what was so pressing about the hair bands, but the staff seemed far more interested in reorganizing their merchandise than serving customers. I really don t like to complain publicly, but the customer service at this place is shocking. The staff need to walk into any similar business and observe the basic manners used to help customers feel welcome. I won t be using their business again, and my advice is neither should you. There are multiple options very close by that offer a far superior experience.

Very tasty drinks and treats. My go-to drinks are the smoothies or the Dalgona iced coffee. The Jenny cookies are very good as well. Its usually very busy here with lots of students studying, or older adults hanging out.

It is one of the good brunch places in our area, the food is delicious! I just wish that they are more baby friendly since they dont have high chairs in the store. They also ask you to put away the dishes when its supposed to be a part of the service they provide. If you would ask for a tip then maybe dont ask customers to do the job for you.

best cafe not only in langley but the whole greater area. I always go get a snack from here but yesterday I got a birthday cake. This c ake was delicious (sweetness and cream ) and the staff were so nice. They wrote happy mother s day on the cake , gave us a free happy mother s day card and candles. Also try Jenny s cookies, they test like heaven.

Ordered MALA pasta, mediocre. Just Too salty and not worth the price based on the overall experience. Seems like not that great place to have meal but might be a good place for a coffee and dessert.

food s great, but there were three utterly obnoxious songs being looped the whole time i was there. it felt like being trapped in an asylum. i came to study, but had to leave because of the repetitive music. i can still hear them ringing in my head. please consider playing a jazz playlist or something more soothing to make the cafe more enjoyable to stay in.

I had heard a lot from people around me that the food here was delicious, so this was a cafe I really wanted to visit, but the customers were treated so insincerely and the service was unfriendly even the moment I placed my order, so even before I tasted the food, I thought I would never come here again. I heard. This was the feeling I felt during the three-minute visit, where I had no basic greeting manners when dealing with customers, an annoyed look that made me feel like I had done something wrong when I just came in, and a customer service that made me question why I was in this business. If that woman is the boss, I hope she will take note of the reviews felt by quite a lot of people, not just a few. The time I spent visiting and the money I paid felt very worthless due to his rude and basic attitude, which is not easy to encounter in the service industry. Ive heard that this place has good food, so I really wanted to visit this café. However, their rude and unwelcoming attitude made me reconsider trying the food. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was bothering them, and they didnt even greet me properly. I couldnt understand why they were in the customer service business if they were going to treat people like this. I hope the owner, if that woman was indeed the owner, takes the reviews seriously, as many people must have felt the same way. It was a waste of time and money to visit a place with such poor service and attitude, which is not common in the service industry. Additionally, I believe its inappropriate for them to ask for a tip after such an unpleasant experience. Tips are meant to be given for good service, and in this case, there was none.

When i order some food, all staffs don t have any smiles looks like mad it was so scared and feeeling bad to customers. Food is good but i don t want to make feel bad again.

The food and coffee are delicious. I met an unfriendly staff that I had only heard about. Even when customers thanked me, they always kept their expressions blank and kept silent, so I couldnt go any further.

The worst service that people come because its delicious and dont hate it. I wonder if they cant manage the staff because business is so good. Ive visited 3 times in the past 10 days, and now Im sick of their unfriendliness. There is really an urgent need for service training for employees. Be kind to local white people. The young, pretty girl who served me coffee rolled her eyes and treated me like a beggar when I told her I wasnt looking, and my companion was shocked when she saw that from behind.

Love this cafe to study or go for a coffee! I ve tried some of their food items (garlic toast and a sandwich) which were mediocre compared to other cafes in the area. Their signature ricotta salad does look good & I am hoping to try soon! Good drinks.

I would not recommend this place. Staff treated me in such a rude way and discriminated against my health condition. I came in with my family for an early birthday lunch, and received attitude from staff for no apparent reason at all. We contemplated staying and ordering lunch and coffee, but after being made to feel uneasy I approached the staff to let them know that we did not appreciate the way I was spoken to and that we would be leaving. There was no attempt to try and resolve the matter. The invasive questions being asked about my health was none of the staff members business. I was simply given dirty looks and accosted by two staff members. Any business willing to talk to customers in a rude and unprofessional manner, and then not care to resolve it, do not deserve your business.... Youre better off going to McDonalds or Tim Hortons, and I genuinely mean that, as the tables in Cafe Ricotta were also quite filthy. It doesnt seem like the staff takes pride in wiping down the tables after customers are done. dining there. EDIT: Your response is untruthful. My elderly parents were already seated, so they removed their masks. We were also not a group of 5. As for the discrimination and the attitude, that was rude and your own staff acknowledged they should not have done that. Instead of being overly defensive, you should recognize fault where it exists. Its as if your staff is the mask police and has pre-determined prejudice for those who cannot wear one.

I ordered from Cafe Ricotta for the first time yesterday and Ive been thinking about that bulgogi sandwich ever since. Its so delicious! I also had an Early Grey & Lemon monster cookie, which was a pleasant surprise! Definitely coming back here whenever I can. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level entry and plenty of room

Went straight for their pasta after hearing a recommendation from a coworker, good choice! Al dente pasta with a delicious sauce, came with bread at the side. Only one side was buttered but the flavour worked great. Ordered their Yuzu smoothie as well, a bit more ice then I thought but satisfactory overall.

Very friendly staff! Facilities are nice and clean, and the place has a chill vibe! Food is very good as well the service. I highly recommend getting one of their cookies, very yummy! We will definitely be back!

I love the lavender latte here. One of the better coffee place I tried on Vancouver. Service was nice along with atmosphere.

I order from here on Skip ALL the time and it never disappoints. Their banana pudding is amazing and stays good in the fridge for up to a week so I always buy 3 or 4, I always get a panini as well and theyre very good. Melted and soft, but not soggy. I really like their caramel machiatto, which is either a nice mild sweetness normally or really good how I usually get it (3 extra syrups, oopsie)

Had the chicken salad sandwich and coffee. Very tasty and price is reasonable. Will be back for sure.

WORST RESTAURANT!!!!!!!! Whether its a female employee or the boss, why do you take out your frustration on customers when you dont want to work? There was no response while ordering and they put the wrong menu, which was really bad. If that woman is the owner, it would be better for her to quit the store, and if she is an employee, it would be better for her to be fired quickly!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the smallest shops I ve been in but also the loveliest! The best things come in small pkgs rings true here. Soooo good my spouse and I came back the next day for bfast. The tiramisu, dark mocha, almond or pistachio croissants and the ham and swiss croissant sandwich are all phenomenal. Next time we will try some of their cakes Definitely recommend. Will return when we come to the mainland again.

This is already the second unpleasant dining experience! Today, when I was ordering a cake, my son accidentally touched it, thinking there was glass there. I already told my son very seriously that its not allowed! Then the staff at the counter very seriously that its not allowed too! And my son has already apologized! We have already purchased that piece of cake. When the food was being delivered to us, the same person criticized my son again! There was absolutely no need for her to act that way again and again. The whole process was very unpleasant, and I wont go there again next time!

Loved the food and atmosphere! I chose carbonara and bulgogi special panini. The carbonara was rich and the bulgogi was on the sweeter side which I loved. I would definitely come back to try out the drinks=)

*Update in 2023* Ordered what I thought should be a hot food- two sandwitches which one of them has even grill mark on the bread, were both very cold when it was served. As if they kept it in fridge kind of cold. When you dont display a ready made sandwitch at the counter the expectation is you make them right away and serve hot and fresh. Especially when bread clearly has grill marks on it. Overall gave me consistent feeling that they dont make anything fresh even for people who dine there. Its unfortunate the owner doesnt seem to read these reviews or take these feedback into consideration. Not sure if I would be back anymore. We ordered croffle, bulgogi pasta, and banana pudding. Croffle was cold like you just got it out of the fridge and not that good. Perhaps it would have tasted better if they made it fresh or even warm it up. Pasta was ok. Banana pudding was too sweet for my taste. Overall, price is not too bad but I havent found my favorite dish so far.

I am recently addicted to the croissant sandwiches. All of them are delicious and the lettuce / veggies super fresh! It seems most people are having pasta so I will have to try that if I can persuade myself. The Jenny Cookies are good as well (there are samples) and the Nutella croffle is lovely! Much more to try, but so far, everything has been great and the staff is friendly!

I had a Carbonara with Garlic Bread and Tiramisu. Garlic bread was sweet butter bread, hardly any garlic. Carbonara was an Alfredo noodle soup. Too much sauce, fatty chunks of barely cooked bacon, (and mushrooms!?!? There isnt mushrooms in Carbonara!)) The Alfredo was super runny. No eggs in it to speak of. Tiramisu was OK. No lady fingers or coffee, just whipped cream a slit of cake, and cocoa. Overall super disappointing and wont return. I recommend Pasta Polo for a better experience. (Not a representative, independent fat mama review.)

This place is a favorite for my daughter and me in Langley. Their iconic Ricotta cheese never disappoints us. Especially the server, Sunny, always provides fantastic service, and the consistency remains even when I fill the stamp card and get free meals (of course, more than once). We always feel welcome. We love it here!

Im changing my review from 5 to 2,. The chicken and cranberry croissant was awful. It used to be my favorite and I used to order it quite often but this is the second time I ordered it and chicken felt so dry like it was really old, the bread was also old, it had way too much lettuce that didnt taste good and it didnt even have cranberry sauce. It was disappointing. The monster cookies are really good though as it was the signature pasta.

I ve never actually been into the cafe yet so I ll have to do that one day. What I do want to rave about is their croffles! Update- I ve been in the cafe, not quite what I was expecting but still a nice place. Staff didn t say much or offer any help as we looked at all the options of baked goods. Food is very tasty though. The ricotta croffle is my still my go to.

Chicken club was great

Ive visited a handful of times now & Ive never been disappointed. The carbonara is delicious and the bulgogi cream spaghetti is a must try. They also offer a wide selection of in house made pastries & sweets. My family and I have tried the soup, sandwiches, the banana pudding, a few flavours of the monster cookies, and the almond croissants. It all tasted wonderful!

Great little cafe. The club sandwich is really good! Very lightly sweet and salty with a great compliment of flavors! The ham and cheese sandwich was fine and the waffles are made from croissant dough, so thats a little weird. But really everything is quite tasty. Had an issue with one of our sandwiches and the staff were very understanding and apologetic. Would definitely come back.

I never do reviews for places but for this one I thought was very necessary. If you are looking for a nice, chill cafe to study in with great drinks and food, THIS PLACE IS IT. Spacious and well-decorated, this cafe will be my new local study spot. Out of the hundreds of matcha lattes ive tried across various cafes, they top Starbucks, personally. Well representing their name, they make their own in-store/homemade ricotta cheese for their recipes - which was amazing! On top of that, the cafe is extremely affordable especially the food. anyways, to anyone who is reading this go support this local spot that is transit-friendly, and overall a great cafe.

Extremely rude and unfriendly lady, worst customer service. Didn t greet us and first thing she said are you ready to order? In away that doesn t want us to be there! it was our first time so I was asking about the type of white pudding cup in the fridge and she said it s Banana pudding! Can t you see it says that in front of you on the fridge! I still ordered because my wife wanted to try this place but the food is not good. Stay away

Best order I had thru Doordash! I was very impressed. Coffee was really, really good! I also ordered 2 croffles - ricotta and nutella - they were perfect! 2 banana puddings - great. I plan to visit this cafe to try everything else. Highly recommended. Pricing is very reasonable.

Sweet cafe with food options too! I had a Korean style bulgogi panini and my husband had carbonara which were both super delicious Had a lot of drink/pastry options too so next time I ll try those. One downside is that because this is a cafe I found many with their laptops out and studying, so it may be hard to find a spot on busy weekends.

We came here very first time and had waffle and Tomato pasta my husband didn t like that waffle cause it is not waffle it is croissant waffle so it wasn t what he expected as said waffle but I had A good tomato pasta!!!! Normally I don t eat Tomato pasta just not my thing.. but this one is goooood and other day I had Cream mushroom pasta also so gooood!!! I am regular customer here now even order food for delivery was really good too!

Their chicken club sandwich is amazing!! When you eat it, you know that they put a lot of thought in this one sandwich. I also got ice caffe latte which I normally put liquid sugar in, but it was just perfect even without it!!! Not bitter and it was so smooth and perfect! They don t have a big menu, but I can t wait to try other things on the menu! :) I love their side dish that they give out too. Nice little touch

Another reskin of this poor coffee shop location that cant seem to catch a break. While I didnt have a bad experience here, I dont think there was anything that would draw me back. The whole decor/design of the place seems like 3 coffee shop vibes on top of eachother. I will say though that this place drew a big crowd of students and friends alike on a Sunday afternoon! My coffee was nice and my friend enjoyed her dessert!

Cute cafe open pretty late with great pastry selection. Iced dalgona latte was a little different than I imagined but not too sweet with a hint of toasted sugar flavour. Tried the earl grey lemon cookie and would definitely repurchase, lemony tart cheesy filling pairs perfectly with the crumbly cookie. Coming back to try the iced lavender latte!

A great place to study/work/chat. Their food is exceptional, they have AC, a comfortable sitting area with sockets for your laptops.

My go-to place to study! Nice atmosphere, great coffee, and friendly staff. Definitely a hidden gem in Langley. However, one thing I wish is that they lower the A/C a little bit, especially on colder and rainy days. Even when I wear a thick hoodie and long pants, it gets way too cold in the cafe after studying for a while. Overall, would recommend this cafe.

The owner and staff are lovely and remember your order and who you are. I love they have a water & utensil corner. Lots of space and tables to work. The sandwiches and croffles are delicious. And they even had strawberries sometimes Lastly, great atmosphere & coffee--iced coffees to stay even come in glass cups which is such a nice change.

I had iced americano and coffee was great. Ricotta salad was really good too. It had great amount of ricotta, and sliced almond, dried cranberry added pleasant taste to salad. Toasted bread was crispy and yummy.

I ve ordered from Cafe Ricotta a few times now, their Ham & Cheese croissant is to die for not to mention the Iced Oat Latte with Lavender Syrup! Today I received a Banana Pudding on the house which not only made my day, but was just as delicious as my other items. This is a must-try local cafe! Keep up the good work, Cafe Ricotta.

I really wanted to try their croffles but unfortunately they didn t have it that day. I ordered for delivery so they gave me a complimentary banana pudding for croffles being unavailable which I thought was a really cute gesture, plus it tasted really really good. It literally melted in mouth, you could taste the fresh cream they used. Best item on their menu for banana lovers. I also ordered Iced white mocha and it had a decent taste.

Ive never actually set foot inside of Cafe Ricotta but have opted for the delivery option several times via third party. The food is ALWAYS properly packed. The sandwiches stay together during transit. The food is always hot and fresh. Everything I have ever ordered has been absolutely delicious. You can tell they put their heart and soul into their cooking. I love the paninis and soups. Both soups are comfy and rich and tasty. They pickled veggies they include are sooo yummy! A nice little touch. You know those days when the weather is gray and you just want to cozy up on the couch and eat warm, comfy food? Then order from here. A delicious, hot panini oozing with cheese and a side of tomato soup.... Nothing tastes better!

Im not sure what kind of coffee beans it is, but the taste of Americano is just that. . Still, the cafe interior was nice, the staff was friendly, and the desserts looked very delicious. ^^

Being able to have dinner, relax with a cup of coffee, and study/read with cafe ambience all in one place made this cafe a great experience. Christmas decorations and jazz themed Christmas music was a huge plus to the overall ambience as well.

What a nice place to go for coffee, tomato soup and bakery made by a friendly owner! Its a new cafe in Langley. Personally, this cafe is much better to study, read or chat with my friends than Gratia cafe on the other side, where is almost always packed with customers. If youre looking for a calm place with high quality soup, bakery and drinks, Id recommend this place.

Great smoothie

I visited here yesterday, and ordered ricotta salad, capresse panini, and bulgogi panini with coffee drinks. I was very impressed with ricotta salad. The cheese was fresh and creamy with hint of sweetness of honey. I liked capresse panini more than bulgogi panini even though both were very good. Coffee was pretty good, I need to try other coffees before I decide. It looked like fruit soda was popular one, so I will try it next time. Overall, I want to come back several times for sure.

It was such a great Korean style cafe. I dont usually visit Langley very often, but while visiting my cousins house yesterday, I found this place wasnt too far from theirs. This place definitely fascinated my eyes and I couldnt miss this place. The owner and staff were very friendly, and overall atomosphere was so confi. (Also, as the name of this cafe shows, the ricotta cheese salad was very fresh and delicious). I highly recommend to visit this place if you live near Langely city. It will be an awesome experience.

I visited this place during the grand opening event. The store is clean, the atmosphere is warm, and the staff are so friendly, so I plan to visit again next time! If you order a sandwich during happy hour, you get a free drink, so it was perfect for brunch. The panini and Americano combination was especially good.

Panini is delicious Perhaps because it is a newly opened store, it is clean and has a good atmosphere. It seemed like it was run by a Korean person, but they were very friendly.

It was a great place to study and relax. The Spanish latte was delicious and the ricotta salad was particularly my favorite! The ricotta salad was way bigger than I thought, I will definitely come back ^^

The staff was very friendly. I tasted the lavender latte so delicious and warm and the lotus croissant omg so delicious is soft, chewy and crunchy at the same time. So delicious. My husband had the special combo that panini with cheese and meat sooo good! Filling, very toasted! Love this place
