4 star instead of 5 because the avocado roll was pretty bad and the soya sauce is very sweet. Cali and salmon roll was very good especially when considering the price. Very good value. Avocado roll needs to improve! Also, soya sauce they use is on the sweeter side. Edit Avocado roll is a lot better now. Updating to 5 stars. This place is turning into our go to Sushil place.

The young waitress was unfriendly and quite bossy, this was my first time experiencing something like that. I believe theres plenty of room for her to improve. With so many sushi options in Langley, I definitely won t be coming back.

Two of us came for dinner and three tables were available but they said they weren t seating anyone else because the takeout was busy. We came two hours before closing.

Went there for lunch, there was only one server and one cook. We were greeted and helped right away, which was great. However the miso soup tasted off and the sushi we ordered fell apart as soon as it was picked up, I think it was done in a machine as opposed to hand rolled. We wont return to this place as our experience was not great.

A very strong restaurant in unassuming Langley. Wild sockeye salmon and the sunset roll with the torched salmon were amazing.

Don t let these decent ratings fool you! This is right around the corner from my condo. The food is ok but the customer service SUCKS!!! Sucks bad!! They charged my card twice because on their end it declined, and when I showed them that they both went through on my bank statement even though their machine didn t go through, they still would not give me the food until it was approved on their end. Talk about a restaurant being so afraid that a 26$ order wont to go through. I offered to come back and pay in cash if for some reason my bank reversed them and also offered them a copy of my ID with my address on it. How much more assurance does a business need but still they refused to give the food until approved on their end. So I had to go home, get my credit card and come back. I shouldn t have, I should have just let them eat the cost of wasted food. I m not sure what kind of a joke of a business they are running but the customer service aspect is non existent. The girl I dealt with argued and argued and her attitude was disgusting

Food is always great. Not as cheap as it used to be, but what is? Their Aburi dishes are really awesome.

The staff is friendly, service is fast, sushi is good and consistent. I have been here 3-4 times in the last month and am honestly pretty impressed. Their lunch boxes are a great deal. Our new fav sushi place in Langley.

Its really delicious! All menus are fantastic! I especially like raw fish rice bowl and kalguksu (noodle soup). The seafood kalguksu is delicious, but the chicken kalguksu is also delicious! If you like spicy food, I recommend Volcano Roll and Spicy Bomb Roll! If you like crunchy texture, Big Bang Roll is delicious^^ Friendly service, delicious food, this is the best restaurant!!! I like onsake to drink on cold days. The warmth spreads throughout your body and the cold disappears! Sweet Soi Karaage is childrens favorite menu^^ For adults, K-style karaage is highly recommended!

I absolutely love this sushi restaurant! The nigiri and rolls are consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming!

I enjoyed it so much on my first visit that I ordered a tray for my second picnic. The quantity and quality of the tray were less than expected. It would be much better to order each item separately from the menu at the store. The staffs response was also awkward for some reason.

Yummy sushi. Price is so reasonable. Excellent deal and service. We ordered 4 rolls but only cost less than $40 included tax and tips! - Scallop roll, Salmon mango roll, French Kiss Roll and Crunch spicy tuna roll, they are amazing! Upset that there is only one branch located in Langley. I hope there will be one in Vancouver very soon! Encore for sure.

Tried both dine-in and take out. Our go-to place after Costco grocery!

We re excited to try their food because of the reviews. Drove here and excitedly came inside the restaurant only to be asked by the server if we came in from the front or back door because she didn t see us come in. We explained that she wasn t in front, it was our first time, and only one table was occupied, so we sat down. It was confrontational and even warned us that next time we have to wait by the door to be seated. Her attitude took our excitement and appetite. It was such a bummer since we wanted to taste the food.

So I m a vegetarian and don t enjoy sushi coz of the seaweed smell. I was so glad to find this place had an option to make the vegetarian rolls with soybean paper instead! I ordered 2 kinds and LOVED them both! Definitely going to try their other veggie rolls. I also ordered their yakiudon. It was ok, found it a bit greasy. And I didn t enjoy the thick noodles (which is on me).

Love this place

What can I say about Shushi Musa, as they continue to amaze with their quick service and food quality. So far, this is the best Shushi place in the area and trust me, I am very selective when it comes to food; Shushi is always delicious (and top notch) and also, just at the right price. Very clean inside and thoughtfully decorated; perfect for a family or other type of fine dining experience. Im hoping they will open on Sundays in the future, again no complaints. Vegetarian options: The size of each Shushi roll with a sufficient quantity of food is definitely filling. Parking: Adequate parking and easily accessible location.

The food was good, well made, and a great presentation. Service was friendly and nice environment. Only wish they offered a non farmed salmon upgrade option, other than that, great experience and good menu options!

Aburi Oshi could be better

Ordered take out from here and service was fairly quick. Staff were friendly and food was yummy at a decent price! I got 2 rolls & a miso soup for abt $20.

First time here. The aburi sushi (seared) is to die for. We had the salmons and the toro but ate them so fast that we forgot to take a picture of them. They pretty much melted in our mouthed. We also aburi oshi sushi (musa oshi and the negitoro oshi). Both were good except would prefer less sauce or no sauce. The sauce was too over powering. Definitely would come back again for the aburi. Still salivating.

Amazing, variety of choices, different flavours and everything was amazing. Loved it and will definitely try other varieties next time. I highly recommend it, it is really fresh and tasty.

Too much veg on the salmon don Came here for dinner. Ordered two salmon dons and a yakisoba plus the kids meal. Kids meal is a great price at $11.99. My 12 year old had leftovers. Yakisoba dish was tasty and easily gobbled up. Not as happy with the salmon dons. Salmon don had slices of salmon sashimi on top of an undressed spring mix salad with chunks of cucumber and julienned daikon radish. Underneath was rice with furikake. Rice wasn t seasoned enough as I wasn t getting enough vinegar and sweet which pairs well with the sashimi. Salad and cucumbers need a dressing but that wouldn t go with the sashimi unless the dish was supposed to be a salmon sashimi salad. I think the greens are added to make up volume in the bowl for presentation but in my opinion, it doesn t work. I prefer the typical daikon radish and perilla leaf as the only vegetables. Service was friendly and fast. The lunch sets shown online look delicious but unfortunately they have no dinner sets other than sushi combos or party platters.

Great food, very fresh and tasty

Standing out among the cookie-cutter strip-mall Japanese places, Sushi Musa is a cut above. Highlights include careful presentation, delicious flavours, and a bit more care in everything they do. I particularly love that the lunch boxes are available later in the day with a $3 extra charge. A fantastic idea that other places should adopt.

I went there on recommendation, and it exceeded my expectations. My friend and I ate it deliciously as a final meal. I am very sensitive to fishy things, but it was clean without any fishy taste! It was crispy. Kalguksu (kalguksu) can be found in Korean supermarkets as well. .Come..

Amazing spot! Food was soo good! The toro (tuna belly)was melt in your mouth. Quality of the fish and the food is top notch! Presentation as as good as it looks! Nice and cozy atmosphere. Cant go wrong with Sushi Musa! Will definitely come back again for sashimi and sushi!

Theyve revamped their menu and food. Theres less food than before but at roughly the same price point and the food is better than before. I guess less is more. These lunch sets were just $17 each. Really good place for a quick meal.

I NEVER write a review no matter good experience or bad. If I dont like the food or place I just dont come back again. My experience here today was unpleasant and made me to write my first review on Google. There were so busy with pick-up orders and only one server there we had to ask her to be served water. That was just beginning. Our first dish was served at our table almost half an hour later we made order. There was another big gap between the second and third dish has served and the last one had to cancel because we almost finished our meal. We couldnt see the server even her hair most of the time except while serving food moment because she was super busy at the corner next to the sushi bar on her task with pick-up orders it was totally blind spots. We had to come to the blind spot twice to talk to the server it was frustrating. The communication skills of the server made me even more upset. She said sorry and left hurry. Later she asked me we can give you free stuff. Let me know if you want some miso soup or pop I replied it s okay and she said ok and left hurry again!! And the last thing, she gave a card with receipt with no explaining what it is for. I thought it was business card but back in my car I noticed it was stamp card to collect. Why they didn t prepare for more server or staff on the weekend dinner prime-time? Focus on pickup orders and neglecting dining customer? Very frustrating we spent time there and will never come back!

FANTASTIC hole in the wall, super fresh sashimi, amazing service and unique rolls. Highly, highly recommend making this a destination if youre in the lower mainland Edit: went back the next day and somehow it was even better. The deluxe sashimi platter is not to be missed, the volcano roll is absolutely perfect. The people here are incredibly kind, outgoing, and friendly! STOP READING THIS REVIEW AND GO EAT HERE!

Our new favorite local sushi place. Flavourful, well composed, fresh sushi! I was also pleasantly surprised to see they recycle their chopsticks. I only recently learned it s a company in Vancouver that turns old chopsticks into wood for making furniture!

The only complaint I have is that the rice is not cooked fully. The grains are hard, and chewy instead of being soft. This might be fine for some people, but to me, the rice is the most important part of sushi. If the rice texture is too hard, the sushi will have an undesirable texture. This might be a bad batch or maybe it was rushed, I m not sure, because other than that everything is fine. EDIT: They have gotten back to me to apologize, and I decided to order form them again. This time the rice was done well, and quality of the filling was still there. All in all, it tastes great, and I would definitely go again!

A sushi restaurant I found by chance! My nephew said he wanted to eat kalguksu, so I was looking for it. Do you sell noodle soup at a sushi restaurant? I was curious so I went... wow! First time at this sushi restaurant and I can say that everything here is brilliant. Good quality food with amazing prices, however, the only downside is that the portions seem a little small.

I came to this restaurant a few times before the ownership had changed, while it was good early on both the service and quality of food had deteriorated, after just over a year my wife suggested we try it again and while I hesitated Im very glad we tried. First the interior had been freshened up and the atmosphere is far more appealing and on top of that the food and the value of the food was excellent. I highly recommend the lunch options, they wont disappoint. Ill definitely be back and will continue to support this business.

My favorite place to eat in Fort Langley. Service is always friendly and very quick and the food is delicious. Walking distance to all the little shops, I like to stop here after Im done shopping.

I haven t tried this sushi place so decided to go today with a friend for lunch. The tuna sashimi was so good and the perfect size. Spicy tuna roll was just right. & the crunch roll had so much flavor. I will definitely be back!!! Everyone should definitely try this place!!!

Good quality lunch meal set

This is our go-to sushi place in Langley. The sushi is great and their bento lunch sets are awesome value. I highly recommend their yakisoba, udon, and chicken katsu don. We really like their mango scallop roll as well.

First time here - shared a tuna gomae which was incredible - very refreshing. Chicken karaage was perfectly cooked - Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside perfect contrast of crunch & tender that equaled happiness in my mouth <- bf words. Restaurant was clean and staff were kind.

I ordered Party Tray A via Uber delivery and my whole family loved it. The fish was fresh, the fried dumplings provided as a bonus were delicious, and the overall price-quality ratio was satisfactory. From now on, whenever I want to eat sushi, I plan to continue ordering from here. May you prosper. :-)

Delicious sushi and good prices too - I got a California roll AND a dynamite roll and it was $12!

Got some takeout from Sushi Musa and it was really good. Very good sashimi. We got the appetizer one. The fried California roll was really good as well. The spice bomb was a little dense and not spicy, but still very good. Good portions and fast service.

Always looking to try new places. Sushi Musa is close to home and were tried a fair amount of items from their menu (no photos this time). I do love the Poke tuna bowl. Had it take out style and the portion size is plentiful. Could almost split it between two people. Quality of their menu items are always great quality (for takeout orders anyways). One day we will try dinning in.

Ordered tempura, sashimi and mango and midnight rolls. Everything was excellent. Tempura was hot and fresh. The rolls were unique and very tasty. Sashimi were a good size and excellent quality. Will return.

Really nice place for sushi. Their portions are very fair and the lady who I think owns the place is super nice. I had a really good experience even though it was just take out. It s a good location if you go to Costco in Langley because the plaza is right next to it.

Oshi sushi, Spicy chirashi don and their korean noodle soup is a MUST to get. This was one of a hidden gem in Langely but now they became so popular (which i understand). You will fall in love with their food and awesome service.

Went there during their meal time around 3ish and they seemed very upset that we went there. I heard their food is good and wanted to try. I didnt know their lunch time is that time. I cannot say enough good things about this quaint and absolutely adorable sushi restaurant. The workers there are fabulous and so so sweet. Best sushi I ve had by FAR. Very friendly staff and the food is incredibly delicious. We re not from Langley but have made the drive from mission just to come here. They deserve the best over there and I hope the people that come in are just as friendly. 10/10 would recommend any day

This is definitely one of the best sushi spots in Langley! I probably order here at least once a week and sometimes more. They are always very consistent with the quality and quantity. They have large menu with lots of options and everything is always very fresh. I love coming here and recommended everyone to try this spot !! The red dragon roll is very good :) This is an update but I just wanted to add again just how impressed I am with this sushi place. I have eaten sushi so many places and nothing compares to Musa. The rice to fish ratio is so good. A lot of places will put thick layer of rice and little fish. At Sushi Musa they always do a good amount of rice and big pieces of fish and they fill the rolls full. The salmon aburi oshi is soooo amazing too I am always beyond impressed with their quality and very friendly service

A little pricey for the taste. The sushi (house rolls and shredded scallop rolls) was good, but the Karaage tasted like it was cooked in Karaage flour, which was disappointing. Therefore, we do not recommend their Chicken Karaage. My husband liked the teriyaki bowl. If you like Japanese Chicken karaage, try mogu karaage or takenaka karaage.

The BEST sushi place in town. Our company comes here every week for lunch/dinner and they never disappoint. The owners are extremely nice people and very welcoming. They remember our orders and preferences which is super awesome. My personal favorite is the Washington roll with added avocado inside. Cant go wrong with anything else though.. all the food Ive tried so far was delicious.

Great place to have Japanese food. Had lunch special on a weekend and was more than enough and well priced too. Highly recommended. Parking: Plenty of parking on a weekend. Kid-friendliness: Saw a lot of kids on the time we were there.

I pass by this place to and from work, and always wanted to give it a try - so very glad I did. Alaska roll sushi was fresh and well made, and the tempura appy was crispy without being oily. My main was the chicken teriyaki, which was generous, and bursting with flavor. Service was especially awesome - very welcoming after a cold, miserable day! Will be making this place a habit.

It wasnt a busy time, but the schedule order wasnt on time and the waitresses made customers stand without telling them to wait. The sushi rice was not even seasoned and was very hard. Chicken Teriyaki also smelled like chicken. Im not a sensitive person, but it wasnt as good as cooking at home.

I was really impressed with this place! Their food is delicious. I particularly loved the Awesome Roll - singlehandedly, this is enough to bring me back for more. The aburi is spot-on! I look forward to being able to dine in-person, when its safe to do so. My only gripe is that they use Styrofoam for take-out. It would be nice to see a more environmentally friendly option being utilized. UPDATE: Ive been back multiple times since and they have blown me out of the water, every single time. We never knew this brand new place and tried it here for the first time today. Clean and nice atmosphere made me relaxed. The food was very decent and packed with flavor . Plus, very welcoming staff. Cant wait to come back for the next. Love you guys :)

It was so delicious! The portions are very generous and the owner is very friendly. This is my family s favorite restaurant!! This is the best restaurant ever since I was born. The staffs are sooo kind and it has generous servings! I strongly recommend this restaurant!!!

I went today for the first time after hearing that the owner had changed, and its better than before. The interior atmosphere has improved, but the food has become much more refined and plentiful. I also feel sincerity. The person serving us seems like the owner and is very friendly. When I saw the Korean hoedeopbap, I thought it was a boarding house.

I stopped by this place on the way. I was very happy because the ingredients were fresh and the portions were generous. It was like I found a hidden restaurant.

This place used to be my husband and my favourite sushi place. However, sadly, as soon as the owner was changed, everything also changed. We would never order food from this place again..

This place is a MUST try place. Their chirashi don, nigiris and rolls are just amazing. Their customer service is really awesome the server is always smiling. Great place

I tried this restaurant once before and was actually impressed, but unfortunately this meal was one of our least favourite sushi meals in Langley. - no seasoning on the veggie Gyoza. Bitter flavouring - no seasoning on rice - farmed salmon in rolls - rolls not cut all the way through - no salt or flavour with the Gomae The salmon Oshi was very good though, so an extra star for that.

If you re in Langley you have to try this place out!! They have delicious miso soup and their salmon sashimi is perfection and always fresh! Friendly service and the sushi is always amazing! New favourite restaurant! I ve been here in person and the experience was lovely, whenever I have ordered takeout it s been packed with care.

This is one the best places we have been into. Hospitality is awesome. The place is clean, organized and fast. All the food we have tried in this place is tasty. Its has the right balance between quality, pricing and service. We tried it multiple times and we had the same experience everytime including their awesome hospitality.

I ate salmon aburi, tuna salmon combo, roll, spicy kalguksu, and the famous raw fish rice bowl. I thought I was a person who didnt like raw fish rice bowls, but I guess the only ones Ive ever had were raw fish rice bowls. It was really delicious. The rolls were nice and delicious too. As the kids say, salmon aburi melts in your mouth. The spicy kalguksu was delicious, and Im going to try the mild noodles next time, and they were very friendly, so I had an enjoyable dinner. Well done!

Just tried this place for the first time. Fantastic! It is very clean, service was wonderful, great quality food that was very tasty and a visual joy. Loved it, will definitely recommend and return.

Ordered a few rolls and found that they were just okay. A bit too much rice is used on the rolls. Flavour was okay.

Sushi Musa is amazing! They have fantastic prices for the size of rolls that you get. Their Red Dynamite Roll is a must have so fresh, delicious, and the tuna melts in your mouth. The staff is always so friendly, and on the off chance they make a mistake they are very quick to make it right and clearly value their customers. Highly recommend! :)
