Very nice place! Friendly owners, great food, very clean. You don’t fine places like this very often these days.
Great experience, wish this was closer to my home neighbourhood. Food was clean and tasty. Definitely not heavy on the salt and oil unlike so many brunch places. Price is very reasonable, fantastic value on the Big Breakfast (what I ordered), blows other breakfast places out of the water. Service was efficient, with very little wait for food. Not for those who are looking for some kind of hipster "vibes" as the decor is simple but clean, just like their food 🙂
Absolutely amazing place with a caring, detailed, and kind staff who offer great food at a great price.
This is our favorite place for a relaxed, family run, wholesome breakfast. If you eat in the background sound, it is quietly played instrumental music that you don't have to strain to block out. If you eat outside, you may have the added bonus of dog walkers passing through. The food is straight up good and actually prepared the way you ask for it to be done. Coffee is good and prices are reasonable. The hard-working couple who run this place have been here for years and deserve patronage for consistent quality service and product.
This place is my favourite breakfast spot now. The owners are very friendly and the food was excellent. The price was very reasonable as well, which was quite surprising given the inflation after Covid.
A great stop for a quick bite or to sit and enjoy a good breakfast. They have a lot of menu options, and great breakfast choices. The service is wonderful and the tea selection is great as well- lots of good loose leaf options. My bagel was perfectly toasted and was enjoyed with a great cup of tea.
This was a quaint little stop. It’s a little cafe off of 88th, and had a small town charm to it. I would recommend giving it a try if you’re wanting a fresh lunch. The ambiance inside is quiet. Classical music plays overhead as you enjoy a light lunch. There’s also the option of sitting outside. While nice, my wife and I opted to eat indoors, choosing to sit in a couple of comfy armchairs. We both had the same thing: the Lux sandwich with a side of cream of broccoli soup. While my wife had hers as just smoked salmon and cream cheese, I had mine with everything. This included cucumber, lettuce, tomato and capers. It was phenomenal! The salmon and cream cheese were made that much better being on a fresh bagel. We’ve had the bagels from this place before, and they have always been tasty. This was the first time we had lunch there, and we were not disappointed! Give this place a try for lunch. You won’t be disappointed!
***update I have been going to this place for a few years since I posted this review and nothing has changed. I cannot speak highly enough about this place *** This is the best breakfast restaurant I have ever been to. You can get a full size breakfast for $7. I'm talking bacon eggs toast and hash browns. The portions are awesome and the food tastes great. There are free coffee refills. The the staff is very friendly and the vibe is warm and cosy. I feel like I am in my friends home having breakfast. This places gets busy quick so show up early.

Our first visit . . . Always look for a new place on Saturdays and this is a REAL Gem! Real Shreds for the hashbrowns and everything was served Hot!
I looked this place up on Google Maps and I did well! Excellent breakfast! I have never eaten better hashbrowns in my life and everything was very tasty, the service is amazing and nice, I immediately felt at home here. I highly recommend it. Homey, unfussy and comfortable. There arent enough places like this around anymore. Delicious soups, fresh sandwiches, great service. Lovely and one of our favourite spots for work lunch away from the office.
The very definition of cozy. I could get a salmon lox bagel-wich for $2 more than a package of Salmon sox at the grocery store. Also enjoyed the minestrone, just perfect.

I was sitting outside on their seats which were empty as I was waiting for my ride after my midwife appointment. The lady came outside and asked me if she could take my order I said I was just sitting and did not want to order. She made me get up and leave and said it s for customers only, I understand if there was a line up or something but there was no one and the restaurant inside was empty. Attaching photo of the outside where no body was sitting.
This place was awesome! Super cute, tiny little restaurant with delicious food + great service. The coffee was yummy + their Big Breakfast hit the spot. Ill be coming back here for sure! Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly! There was a little dude running around enjoying himself while we were there.

I grabbed a breakfast wrap for myself. It was pretty light and tasty. The prices shown on here and even on the sign inside arent the same as when being punched in on the till. I guess the till rises faster then can keep up on the sign.

Extremely nice people. Food is always delicious. It s so nice to order ahead and have everything ready by the time you arrive. Everything is extreme affordable there as well!
I am a regular customer of this cafe with my wife. If you enjoy a western breakfast or lunch with a good coffee and a choice tea with your loved ones, this place can be a favorite place. At least, it is one of my favorite and easy on my wallet.

A great meal, saw that it was a Bagel café so I did try their bagel meal. Added hashbrowns. Great taste, not super pricey. Had Franks hotsauce as an option. Went there at the end of the day so service as a bit in attentive as they were preparing to close up. Great meal otherwise!

Food is good and priced right. Table tops and chair tops could be wiped down better, every time I go there I have to wipe crumbs off the table and my chair.

Have lived in the area for many years and finally decided to try Bagel Classic Cafe for breakfast. Very good value, delicious food, generous portions, and done to perfection. This friendly, polite, family run business has definitely earned our repeat business. We will definitely be back many more times and am looking forward to lunch there sometime soon.

Friendly enough upon being greeted and when I asked if I could use the washroom I was told I m sorry there s no public washroom. When I said what about if I order something she said then yes you can use the washroom so I decided to order a chai tea latte made with non-dairy milk. They only had soy milk which I can t have which is not their fault but I found it extremely discouraging that they wouldn t allow me to use the washroom at first. I m dressed decently in the middle of doing deliveries for the food bank and extremely disappointed therefore I wouldn t go back there again or recommend to anybody that wants to support a community that doesn t support their own community.

Wow - what a lovely little cafe. The coffee and bagels were great as the bagels were toasted to perfection. The breakfasts of eggs, bacon, etc of the other diners looked appetizing and filling. The cafe was quiet and relaxed despite the cafe being close to half full on a Saturday morning. The menu shows that more than just breakfast is available.

I am currently sitting beside my sister in the trauma ward at the hospital. She said she ate at your establishment and nothing afterwards. She is hooked up to IV fluids, fainting and cannot keep anything down. Shes asked me to write about how dirty the restaurant was during her visit. She said each of the chairs had old food stuck to it and that it looked like the place hadnt been properly cleaned in months if not years. She ordered the egg salad and mushroom soup. She asks that I write beware for anyone thinking of visiting here.
