Modern but cozy dinning room. Reasonable pricing that was at least 10% cheaper than Vancouver/ Richmond. Overall great dining experience Room for improvement: Servers could be more attentive as we often had to wave them over to get more tea. Would Recommend the salad with ginger sauce
The food was delicious. The price is an affordable. I got the deluxe sashimi, and it was $70 and enough for 3 people as an appetizer. We had 6 people so we ordered 2. Definitely recommend
The sushi is incredibly fresh, of high quality, and served in generous portions. The seating is clean and comfortable, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The service is attentive and very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The lunch set offers great value, and I’m already looking forward to returning.
Delicious food. Great service. Generous portions. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Highly recommend this new place. My new favorite Sushi restaurant in Langley by a landslide.
Delicious and fresh nigiri. Loved the toro here. The only thing I would not order again is the spicy sashimi - it was a little fishy, portion was small and it was an odd flavour profile to me with the pineapple. Service was good and restaurant was clean!
Kai langley at Latimer Village is becoming our favorite Japanese spot. The restaurant is very spacious and we like the minimal decor. The dishes are all lovingly prepared and the small touches of arranged flower sashimi or shredded beets and daikon make for a nice presentation. We are huge fans of the Spicy Chirashi - Korean inspired seafood salad with rice and an incredible spicy umami dressing. It's served in a massive salad bowl, great for sharing with a few friends! The dinner sets are also delicious, and such good value. The seafood salad is also delicious, perfect for a solo entree. The only "miss" would be the chicken karagge according to our teen son (a self proclaimed connessieur) as the pieces of chicken are cut like fish and chips, and not as crispy and bite sized as expected.
We stumbled upon this gem while passing through Langley. Fresh delicious well thought dishes. Reasonably priced for the quality.
Great quality and consistent. My favourite dish is not always available but it always makes me wanting to go back for it. Quick and precise services. One of my favourite sushi places.
Bento are generally alright but the veg sashimi salad is not something I would order again. It comes with little sashimi cubes which are hard to measure if enough portions had been given. I wish all sashimi cubes should be put at side at least I can see how much they are in terms of the money compared with other similar Japanese restaurants. I don t appreciate the chips in the salad which make up a big bowl but those chips are out of place for a vegetable sashimi salad.
Came back to this restaurant after our first visit because we enjoyed the food a lot but we won t be coming back. The hospitality from the waitress was very disappointing and I did not appreciate it, all from a simple misunderstanding on both ends. Manager did a good job resolving the issue.
Best sushi ever!! Delicious & fast service
Thank you for a very tasty dinner! Everything is amazingly delicious! I will definitely visit you again!
Best sushi ever
Good food with great accommodations
Always a great experience. Food is excellent and my kids love it too!
Great value, the chicken Katsu is very juicy and tender! Love this place!
Great addition to the new development in the area. Quality is fresh and delicious. They have sushi and ramen aswell. Usually very busy in the evenings and weekends. Spicy chirashi don was served in a huge clear bowl, great for sharing. Pricing is reasonable for what you get. Will visit again.
Very good quality and selection. Super fast service. Food
Very nice restaurant in langley and poco. Good owners!!!
First time there. Food and service are great.
Sushi was good, katsu was dry. The server didn t come back around after the food was served, was wanting more water for the dry food. It s pricey the portion size.
Best sushi around!
My favorite sushi restaurant. Fresh tasty delicious food. Friendly staff and sper clean placs
The food was mediocre and overpriced. The atmosphere was disappointing, reminiscent of a cafeteria or food court, which lacked any ambiance. The excessively bright lighting was uncomfortable and made me want to leave sooner.
Kai Sushi offers really good quality and fresh food. The prices are in line with todays overinflated rates, so thats to be expected. However, I didnt like the tables as my feet kept hitting the table stand at the bottom they could have chosen better tables. Other than that, Id say their sushi is on the same level as Tokyo Hon Sushi.
By far the best sushi in town! The service is wonderful. Very friendly staff. Excellent prices. Our weekly favourite!
Great local Japanese selections the right days, good beer offerings.
Its a perfect sushi restaurant now.
Food is so good here, service is also top notch. Definitely recommend. Place is very clean as well.
My wifes and I first dining experience at Kai and it was some of the best Japanese food we have eaten in a while. The deluxe nigiri combo was so fresh, it melted in you mouth. We highly recommend. Food
Good food, Good Service, Sushi is tasty
Not first time there! Some dishes really good some mediocre!Sockey sashimi really good ! Yakisoba chicken not good at all ! The meat was hard and dry ! Some of the sushi rolls good ! Some not really! Good service ! Also dark places with no sunlight at all ( quite common i would say) not my favorite either !
This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the lower main land! Top quality food & extremely clean. Great service!
Food was delicious. Flavorful and fresh. A good variety.
The food is amazing, it tastes fresh and the portions are large. Whenever I am in from Chilliwack I make it a point to stop here for Japanese food. Food
One of the best salads(Kai seafood Salad) I have ever had! Sushi was super fresh and delicious!
Food was fresh and great. Portion size is a bit smaller than other places compared to the price. Overall was still good.
This is the most popular Japanese restaurant in Willoughby, hands down. Plenty of seats and variety of choice menu. Staff are friendly and ready to serve you. The only caveat is the parking spots. It is tight, tight, tight - very limited stalls nearby. There is underground parking available but not enough usually. Clean, organized, good ambience, and family-friendly as well.
One of the best Sushi spots in Langley. Good food and great service. Will be coming back for more.
Great sushi place in Langley. A little bit pricey but quality is great.
Return every week for the food and the staff.
Great atmosphere and service, but sushi wasn t spectacular considering the relatively expensive price you pay here.
Great experience
Best sushi in the lower mainland
This is my one and only go-to sushi place! They use the freshest fish, and the best ingredients. I ve never been disappointed in my food here! Always a 10 out of 10. Service is excellent too. It may seem expensive at first glance but when you compare to other places, you re getting your money s worth and then some!!
Kai sushi is by far our favourite sushi place in Langley. They are always very kind, timely and their sushi is by far the best. They don t load up the rice, the fish is fresh. It is amazing here.
We ordered Dinner set A and Chirashi Don. The sashimi is so fresh but portion is a bit less. I personally recommended for lunch set which is cheaper and valuable.
Probably the best sushi in the Langley area! And this is coming from a big foodie critic Highly recommend this place, to anyone who needs their Japanese/sushi fix! I will definitely be returning here :)) A+
Amazing food and high quality fish. Great service also. Definitely recommend
I think it tastes better than when it opened. The staff was very friendly and the food was so good that we ordered the same food multiple times. Parking was okay too. It was a very satisfying place for the whole family. I think it would be better if you come to a special gathering. I live close by. I will come often.
I wish I took pictures. Salad was served with unwashed bagged lettuce and was sour. Sushi was overpriced for serving size. My drink cup was empty for over half the meal. Wont be returning
Ive been ordeing take out only so far, but the food is great. Love their lemon shrimp roll
Friendly staff, quick service, and lots of selections on the menu. Been here multiple times and had take outs. They never seem to disappoint. Sushi rolls were amazing they have their own special rolls tastes perfect. My goto sushi restaurant. Parking: There is an underground parking as-well if the parking lot at the front is full (outside parking lot is usually full.)
This place is sooo good. I went for the first time today. We got chicken yakisoba, chicken katsu curry, and deep fried cali rolls. Good food, good service and good vibes
Been here twice very good sushi! Will be a regular.
Delicious sushi! Especially liked the spicy tuna roll.
I came in to get sushi but apparently I was too late, I arrived at 8:32 and they told me the last person to get take out had ordered at 8:31. I told them I only wanted something small and to-go. Just simple California rolls. The worker said one minute let me ask and I assume supervisor comes in, she tells me to get lost. I decided to go to the sushi place right beside this one called Sushi Avenue which also closes at 8:30 and they happily took my order. In conclusion the customer service is upsetting.
Newer restaurant, spacious but sushi can be better
So good! Thank you for bringing good sushi to langley finally !
I like their sushi and chicken teriyaki. very fresh and delicious. reasonly priced.
The interior was amazing plants, and nice lighting, along with comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and kind and made me feel welcome. As for the food, it was the best sushi I had ever had. I really felt like it was worth the price. 10/10 would totally go again
Great sushi for Langley and one of the only places I will go now. A little bit pricey but it s quality for Langley.
This sushi place was great - the food tasted good, it had a charming atmosphere, and the service was really good. Parking: The parking spots are too small and theres always nowhere to park. Thats why I recommend going underground. There are plenty of parking spots there.
Fresh food, clean establishment, and friendly service. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant!
Just had a Sashimi/Nigiri lunch set and blown away by the quality of the sashimi and portions. Priced very well. Will be back.
Best food and service so far around Langley! Me and my wife also liked the ambiance of the place. Our server was amazing!!! We forgot her name but she s a Korean.
First time in here, and my experience was good. I ordered the Giant Bomb Special Roll and they are yummy, Pan Fried Undo is not that good, Beef Teriyaki is good. Even though we ordered 2 dish comes with miso soup, but the server still gave us 3. this is a small thing, but every good small thing can make customers feel comfortable.
Big portion
Server highly recommended
My wife and I happened across this little gem. A calm and peaceful atmosphere + great service + outstanding food (both in presentation and flavour) = us going back! Thanks for an awesome experience.
In this day and age having no WiFi is like having no soap in the bathroom. There was soap in the bathroom, but no WiFi. Food was ok. The waitress gave me the judgy vibe, as if money isn t enough to eat there.
The quality of the sushi has improved since the opening. Initially, I felt the sushi rice was not tasty, but after revisiting, I think the quality has improved. Also, the restroom is clean, and the new servers were friendly. However, the older female server who appears to have worked for a long time gives a rather sharp impression. Customers are not rivals, so if she treats them kindly, they will be able to stay comfortably
I was unhappy with how small the amount of sashimi that they gave especially with the amount compared to similar sushi restaurants. If you want to spend more money on sushi, this is the place to go!
Best sushi in Langley
We love this new Japanese restaurant that opened up in Langley (part of a chain). The ambience is modern and classy. The fish here is really tasty and higher quality than most sushi places in the area which is reflected in the pricing. The service is good. So happy they are in the neighborhood!
This was a first visit, and this will be a regular in the future. The food was excellent. We had a few starters and two rolls. We left full...stuffed, really. The servers were attentive without being overbearing. The place was packed by the time we left, so you know that its popular. The parking was so so. Apparently, there is underground parking. The place was clean and well maintained. We will go back to try more dishes. Overall at very good experience. Parking: There is underground parking, but I was able to get the last spot in the outdoor parking lot
This sushi is incredible, rolls come in 8 too which is awesome. We went for my wife s bday yesterday and it was amazing. Friendly staff.
The prices are very affordable, making it easy to enjoy their delicious menu without breaking the bank. Staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to your dining experience. And the food? Absolutely yummy! Every dish we tried was a delight, showcasing authentic Japanese flavors.
This is by far the best sushi place in Langley, and one of the best in BC. I am extremely picky when it comes to sushi - I ve tried any and everything from the most highly rated omakase to almost every sushi restaurant in Langley (and more than I can count in other cities as well). Kai s sushi is comparable to some of the most high-end sushi restaurants in Vancouver, and may I say it s better than half of them, if not more. The fish is exactly as fresh as it should be, the rice is perfectly done, and you can tell that their standards are extremely high when it comes to sourcing their fish (both locally and internationally). I truly hope that they maintain the high standards they have set in the coming years. I can finally say that I have a favourite sushi spot in my area - one with lovely service, a welcoming interior, exceptional cleanliness, and some of the freshest fish I ve had. For reference, I have tried most (80%) of their nigiri s, a few regular rolls, a few different types of sashimi, and a few appies. Incredibly happy with everything from top to bottom - keep it up (Also, I do not have many photos since we ve been unable to let our phones eat first lately. It s that good!)
I think Kai is the best Japanese restaurant in Langley. Highly recommended!
Ebi mayo was great. Overall nice food and quality, bit expensive
Best 5 service. Great tastes & flavors ! Unique from other sushi joints. Foie gras - Wild Sockeye Salmon Sashimi - Tuna Tataki - Gomae - Assorted Tempura - Veggie Roll - Leg. Asahi beer
Great little dining area, very clean. Servers were attentive and pleasant. Food tasted so good, only complaint is the seaweed in the rolls were a little chewy, but the salmon sashimi madder up for that! Parking: Spots in front are 2 hours, and there is garage parking
Okay okay okay. What is this place? Amazing. Is what it is. Plus, you don t have to go all the way to Yaletown to get the highest quality, FRESHEST sushi in a great atmosphere. The dining room is well appointed, clean and has very comfortable seating. I d eat this sushi in a blank room with one light bulb if I had to because not only does it taste great, it s served beautifully. We came for a family dinner and had everything from appies, to rolls, to everything really. We will definitely be back. The only problem is, it s just down the road from my house so making sure we don t come here every day will be an issue. I would have taken pictures but the food was gone too fast.
Incredible value lunch; the ramen combined with kirage (not shown) is enough for two (not big eaters) for $21 total. Similarly the lunch specials for $19 are massive. Best we ve tried in Langley (and several tried a lot)
I wanted to try this restaurant as I kept driving by it on my way up 200th Street in Langley. Food menu is quite extensive and there is something for everybody. Food was amazing ! Compliments to the chef The atmosphere could have been better as they had the music a little too loud in the restaurant and sometimes couldnt hear the person across from me. Service was prompt and reasonablely priced. Definitely worth the visit.
Our kids love the food here. From the California rolls, Nigiri sushi to the Gyoza and steamed rice. I find the selection more limited from other restaurants, especially for non-fish foods. My wife likes the foid but thinks the quality of some other Japanese restaurants close by are better. The kids do not like these other restaurants as much.
We went there for lunch, portion size is generous and is good value for money. I also ordered a side of uni nigiri and it tasted good. Staff were attentive. Would definitely go back.
Amazing value and delicious food.
My favourite sushi place! The restaurant is beautiful and so is the food. The service is also amazing and the employees are welcoming. We had the salmon oshi and chicken yakisoba this time, the yakisoba had lots of veggies and chicken and everything tasted fresh. Highly recommend!
Best sushi I ve had in all of lower mainland. Fresh, nice place, good service too! The BEST!
Everything is perfect! The food is beautiful n the servers are super kind. I think here is the best sushi place in Vancouver
Seriously the best I ve try in a while !! Bluefin otoro is fresh and amazing and Katsu is really good!
When eating sashimi at a Japanese restaurant, honestly, as long as the sashimi is fresh, I dont notice much difference in taste. However, if you enjoy trying a variety of fish and seafood, KAI Restaurant is recommendable. Besides sashimi, they offer a wide range of sushi, rolls, and kitchen dishes. The only downside is that, despite the lack of anything special about the ambiance and interior, the food prices are on the higher side. Nonetheless, the food is fresh and of good quality.
Food is delicious and beautiful. High quality sushi. They have a semi-private area that we used for our party. The area can fit approximately 12 people.
Sea it Eat it It s nice they opened up this second location at the new Latimer Village along 200th Street. The parking in the plaza is a bit tight but there is street parking available. The interior is quite spacious with a very classy modern decor and look. I would say its interior layout and appearance is a notch up from its Coquitlam location, giving diners a comfortable dining experience for all occasions. Ever since they first opened, I have been here a few times, this is what I ordered the last time I was here; 1. Miso soup (complimentary). Nice and hot but pretty basic. 2. Real crab sunomono. Nice flavour and the noodle had a nice texture, just wish the crab meat were more whole and chunky. 3. Spider roll . It s okay, pretty standard soft shell crab roll. 4. Asparagus bacon kushiyaki and okra kushiyaki. They were okay, goes good with sake. 5. Oyster motoyaki. Nice little char on top and quite fresh and tasty. 6. Seafood Yaki udon. Not bad but I personally would like the green onions cooked to enhance the flavours and aroma. 7. Dragon special roll. It s okay, all the ingredients were well balanced. 8. Chopped scallops and uni nigiris. Very fresh and tasty, got to love them unis. 9. Swordfish, Akami, albacore toro, chu toro, O- toro nigiris. They were very fresh and beautiful in colours. The butteriness accompanied by the well seasoned rice gave that foodgasmic taste. Loved it! 10. Deluxe sashimi platter. Everything was fresh and tasty with a nice presentation. (Request the amaebi heads to be deep fried before eating platter) Overall, I tried pretty much most of the sushi places in the Langley area (except Yugafu ) I would have to say this new location is the finer one of them that offers a larger variety of items plus the specialty fishes. The seafood was very fresh and everything was tasty. The classy and comfortable layout of the restaurant makes the dining experience more enjoyable too. I appreciate the fine services here more than the Coquitlam location. The servers and staffs here were very welcoming, friendly and attentive (a notch up from the Coquitlam location). Always a repeat for me and certainly a recommendation by me if in the area looking for good sushi and Japanese food.
Great food, its a bit expensive but worth it for sure.
Food tastes good, staffs are very nice and service is pretty fast. Price was in a higher range but that s pretty normal nowadays. Agadeshi tofu and spring rolls wasn t the greatest but the curry don was amazing. Chicken kaarage was also good but again the portion is pretty small
I dont give 5 ratings very easily. This place is amazing! Pricey, but worth it ! They have dropped their prices by 10% as well. Food
Fresh sashimi and good taste
came here for new year s eve! great service, ladies were super sweet and the food was delicious. food came out in the perfect amount of time.
Costco Walmart Sushi at High End prices. Take low quality product and just drown it in greasy sugat sauce, dump it on, pour it with a jug, make sure no one can see whats underneath. Use inconsistent plates to allude to quality. Ignore your customers until they ask you three times for water, then hover over the table like a house fly for the rest of the meal. They spent too much money on the decoration, its all just smoke, mirrors and bad food.
Great sushi and vibe. Was a pleasant surprise to have the reviews actually match the experience.
Excelent food quality!!! Everything was super fresh and really good quality. I would change only one thing. Source for the squid . Too mayonnaise ;)
Food was amazing best oshi Ive had !!!! We also had the spicy dynamite roll & chicken teriyaki we will defs go back!
I just had an incredible experience at KAI. just love their real wasabi option for + $3.. it is really worth to taste it.. better than the wasabi powder based wasabi.. I ordered also mazesoba.. which was incrediblely good.. perfect texture and very good chewyness.. Sashimi KAI with 30pcs is nice for the buck... excellent freshness and excelent selection of fish.. especially hamachi and chu-toro and o-toro
Excellent location. Awesome food and service!
Salmon Oshi is amazing! The staff are always on top of it as well! Great experience every time we visit.
It was delicious! beautiful interior, friendly waiter, I recommend it to everyone!
Its quite expensive but I didnt mind because the food was amazing and the service was fast.
Newly opened Japanese restaurant in Langley , operated by Koreans. They have some unique items on their menu. Very nice presentation on their food items.
The seafood salad with the ginger dressing is amazing!
This is not a normal sushi restaurant. They are high end japanese restaurants that concentrate on true beauty of Japanese food.
Finally got myself to try out the famous Kai after hearing about it all around. Their signature salmon oshi and their spicy chirashi don exceeded my expectations with the overwhelming portions and the unique flavour! So excited to discover this place and def will be back !!
The interior design is truly impressive, and whats more, the food is absolutely delicious. The beef tataki, madai sashimi and salmon oshi are out of this world in terms of taste. The servers are also very friendly and always attentive to guests needs, creating a truly enjoyable dining experience.
Its just ok. Nothing spectacular. New restaurant in Langley area catering to locals. Sushi was average. Fried items have heavy batter that hides the flavor. Not likely coming back as traveling through the area.
Great and unique menu. My partner and I both had a lunch box. Food and service was fantastic! Well be back!
We ordered lunch combo and the house special Kai roll which s a cool combination of sushi roll. they were pretty fresh and tasty! But the price-wise it was a bit pricey.
It was fantastic. The music wasnt too loud, the ambience was pleasant, and the servers were great. But even then, it doesnt compare to how great the food was. We ordered the dynamite combo, kai roll, bc roll, and Alaska roll. All of it was fantastic especially the kai roll. Bonus points because even the miso soup was great. Normally my girlfriend complains its too salty but she found it very pleasant.
Best sushi definitely recommend
Nice place to eat Food was fresh and staff was kind. Food
Good food with nice presentations. Just wanted to mention that it would be nice to have some ginger with the dragon roll.
Great Customer Service. Clean, food is very good. Priced right. Worth a visit. Recommended.
The best, try their foie gras nigiri which is not on their menu. Recommend trying it as appetizer 1 piece per person. It will definitely appetite!! I always come with my friends for good atmosphere and their service, especially their food. I love how they carry wine here, since I am a wine lover.
Very very good plate and kind service
Very friendly, extremely clean and food was great! Parking: We ate late dinner, not a problem with parking Wheelchair accessibility: Main floor, no stairs and plenty of space inside
Nice place with tasty sushi!
At the time of writing this review the restaurant was brand new. Maybe a couple of months old. The interior looks very modern, very clean. Tables were spacious and lots of room to move around the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. Plenty of high chairs available for the little ones. The food itself was absolutely amazing. These people are setting the bar for Japanese cuisine even further. A lot of good competition in this area but these guys are coming out ahead. This restaurant has very, very good Nigiri sushi and they serve beef tataki, which I appreciated because not a lot of restaurants do. A+ restaurant 5/5
Great food, great prices, great service
Honestly, this is great restaurant. Food is fresh and super tasty. The service is incredible.
After the Coquitlam location, hearing that a Langley location was opening meant I had to try. Definitely giving it five stars! Yes it s a little pricier compared to others, but this restaurant is in a new building, the staff are efficient, and the food delicious! Not to mention the food is presented beautifully!
Kai Sushi was awesome! The classic rolls were great while the sashimi was incredibly fresh. But the real show was the blue fin tuna which was perfect with the real wasabi! Each bite was a flavour explosion. The laid-back vibe made the experience even better. A must-visit for sushi enthusiasts in the Langley area.
This had to be the best sushi lunch set that Ive had in a while. The sashimi was so fresh, the miso soup and the chilled lemon rice noodle soup were perfect balances to savory and slightly sour. It was so refreshing, I wish that I lived closer so I could go again with friends.
One of the the freshest and tastiest around town!! Definitely give it a good!!!
best good food....
As a newly opened restaurant, the renovated atmosphere is very good. The waiters service attitude is very good. The salmon in the rice bowl is very fresh and delicious, and the fried pork chop curry rice is also good. But personally, creative sushi is a little strange. I ordered the signature kai sushi, with a layer of fried food on the outside, followed by crab salad with chopped tuna. These ingredients are mixed with hot sauce and covered with small sushi rolls. The taste is so complicated. I still like traditional sushi, with rice with fresh fish fillets.
Ive dined in twice and had takeout twice now from Kai Langley...and wow, it does not disappoint! The food is absolutely delicious but on top of that, the service is outstanding. The last time we dined in, they accidentally brought out a beef yakisoba when I ordered a vegetarian yakisoba but they quickly took the dish away and made a new one as vegetarian. At the end of the service, they gave us ice cream on the house. It wasnt necessary at all, because I honestly have been to so many places where they bring a meat item instead of vegetarian and I never have experienced the above and beyond service that they provided that night to make things right. They truly want customers to have a positive experience and it was shown throughout the night. Highly recommend!
Everything was made to perfection . We will be back.
First time here and it won t be the last. The sushi, service and atmosphere were all amazing. Great value. We will be back again soon.
Everything was really tasty! Good proportion of rice and additions)
Delicious fish
Really puzzled by all the 5 star reviews. The joint has very loud techno music, wall tiles which look like wet fish skin, and the food is mediocre. It is was the first time we didnt like even oshi sushi...it was weird and mushy. Even miso soup was tasteless. Salad was boring and lacked dressing......and the food was mediocre and even with 10 percent discount we paid 80 bucks for 2 people before tax and tip..would never visit again. Those people dont know what theyre doing.
Fantastic!
Excellent lunch in Langley at Kai Japanese Restaurant, Salmon Teriyaki, 10! Ill be back to try other flavors!
The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it for the price. Their lunch specials include many different items for a great price. Would definitely recommend!!!
Incredible food and service. Wow.
Just as Coquitlam location, this Langley location also is excellent. From service to food quality, I don t think it could be much better than what you get from Kai. Most of their menu are well thought of and delivered. Place is also neat and clean. Their rolls are great, and so are their oshi. Top notch stuff. Their dons are also very tasty.
Food was delicious
Nice dinner. Loved food and service. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were available. Food : 5/5 |
Some of the best sushi in Langley! You have to check out this brand new spot! We ordered a variety of dishes and rolls, and were impressed with the presentation and flavours. Staff were so polite and attentive, and service was so fast! We loved the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant as well. Perfect date spot or place too grab delicious sushi! 10/10.
New sushi restaurant in Langley! Nice atmosphere, good customer service and tasty food :) It was nice to try! Food : 5/5
Lil expensive and a lil lackluster. The oshi was quite mid. The service was good though.
The reviews in here are highly flattering. The portions were child like, the quality meh. The ambiance was okay but too bright for evening setting. I would truly never go back with much better options such as Sushi California, Umami, or Damiko nearby.
Good food, nice service! Wonderful place to enjoy lunch with friends and co-workers!
Ordinary overpriced sushi. I dont know why rating so hi here.
Delicious food and kind service, we will come back again
New spot in Langley. Quick service and good food. They are very accommodating to little kids: plates, cups, and even training chopsticks. The spicy tuna was a bit different than I m used to but it was still tasty.
Order kai lunch set (teishoku) Kai <A> Sashimi & Nigiri Great Food with good price
I ordered Sashimi lunch set and a dragon roll. They are fresh and delicious. Parking: There are street parking and underground free parking Food : 5/5 |
If only the price was a little cheaper...
Awesome place when your in Langley food is made fast and tastes amazing definitely recommend if your passing through or what not
Great restaurant with so respectful waitresses and delicious foods.
Great food, great service. Our favourite restaurant
Chicken Katsu is incredible and good value Most other menu items are expensive in comparison to many other sushi Restaurants but service was really great Food
Loved our waitress and the food was awesome!
Best food & personnel ever
Not just great food, but amazing service! Called at 9:29pm thinking they closed at 10:00, but they closed at 9:30... and they still took our order!!! Above and beyond great customer service that keeps up coming back!
Clean, great service and amazing food. Good portion between rice and toppings (not too much rice) and kid friendly. I ve gone to my fair share of Sushi restaurants and I can safely say this is one of the best ones I ve gone to in the Fraser valley. Kid-friendliness: Good highchairs and plastic plates and utensils (I think IKEA)
Food was great staff was friendly. Over all good experience.
This restaurant surprised me. It s a very high-quality Japanese restaurant. All the waiters are warm and polite, and the food is very good Worth five stars
Great music and atmosphere. Exceptional sushi which is always fresh. Clean, friendly, and always enjoyable.
Highly recommend this place! The quality of food and presentation is excellent. My new favourite sushi spot!
Great food, good service, nice place, challenge to park and what is with the horrid loud, pounding nightclub music?
The food was excellent. In contrast to many other restaurants, the sushi here had a generous portion of meat and less rice, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the only hiccup in an otherwise delightful meal was with the barbecue meat. Regrettably, the waitress took the meat from the skewer but failed to provide any cutlery for eating, leaving us with only chopsticks. As a result, I struggled to handle the meat, and my lips were singed while trying to separate it for a bite.
Best japanese restaurant
We just recently moved and were pleased to find that this restaurant was within walking distance from us. So far weve found the menu, food, service and atmosphere to be excellent (its also always super clean and seemingly well run). Were here a few times a month easily and have yet to be disappointed in any capacity. Great place!
My husband and I love this resturant. It is a high end Japanese resturant, the food is amazing. The sashimi is fresh, they have great roll combinations, they have amazing yakisoba. Everything I have tried so far has been great! The staff are amazing and the service is always excellent. The resturant itself has a great vibe and beautiful decor. I highly recommend!
20% higher prices than other sushi restaurants Ordered their spicy sushi combo that is supposed to come with a spicy california roll as per their menu description, but what came out was just a normal cali roll. When I asked if there was a mistake to the order I was told what I got was correct but I could get extra spicy sauce on the side if I wanted. So I am paying 20% more to get a combo with a spicy california roll that isnt actually spicy, and I have to ask about it in order for it to be spicy? K. However, because the price is higher, there is more care in the food presentation and the food seems fresh.
Good service. Good location. However, I can give 3 stars for their food. Local grocery store level sushi quality. Their chef doesnt know how to make sushi rice. I dont recommend this place.
Leaving a review after several visits. I think the food here is great. The spicy ebi mayo has an amazing sauce. The refresher roll is my favorite pretty much of any roll I ve tried anywhere. The chicken karaage is uniquely done. Oddly enough, I m not a fan of the sashimi. Not that it s bad, but it just doesn t stand out. Now mind you, they have madai ( ) as well as various specialty sashimi like bluefin tuna (multiple cuts/options) and are one of the few places I know that offers real wasabi. Service is quite attentive and friendly. Menu prices are a bit high but they ve been offering 10% off for the last while for eat-in and take-out orders. Lunch for two can easily run $25 pre-tip.
Have tried this place a few times for lunch take-out. The quality is good for sushi in the Walnut Grove/Willoughby area. My only feedback would be that everything is priced about 20% higher than competitors in the area.
Quality food and outstanding service.
