Cora Breakfast and Lunch in Langley

This is the first time for us to try Cora. The food was great, our server was very polite and did a great job and atmosphere is very clean and tidy. Thanks again!

Our server Maria, was super friendly and truly went the extra mile to make us feel valuable. The supervisor Ritambara was also welcoming. The staff refreshingly still hold the good, old customer service standards high; (something we all miss these days).

The worst breakfast place ever. I have no words to describe how terrible the food and the dining experience was. Me n my wife and little one went there for breakfast after I heard all the uproar about how great it was. We were seated immediately, however it took 10 mins for our server to show up., no problem I was there for the food and didn t mind waiting, however the food took an hour to come (dude it s eggs). The eggs were the smallest I have ever seen and were dry to the bone, the potatoes were cold and the sausage greasy and shrunk. I mean for someone spending 80 bucks on breakfast deserves a decent meal and this was a far cry from it.

Terrible service! We waited 5 minutes to be seated in a restaurant that was not even half full. We sat there for 10 minutes and finally walked out as nobody came to even take a drink order. The waitress and hostess that finally engaged us on our way out the door were more concerned in telling us that it wasn t their section than on offering an apology.

We just left from breakfast! Our server was Ashley and she was amazing! On the ball, friendly and made sure anyone that came in was greeted. Our food was deeeelish! Highly recommend this place and this staff member should be recognized for being so great! Thanks again Ashley!

Recently visited Cora Cora for breakfast, and I cant recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. ASHLEY was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great suggestions from the menu. ASHLEY WAS EXCEPTIONAL! She made our experience memorable. Cant wait to come back and try more of their amazing breakfast offerings!.

Our hockey team attended this Cora s location as a pregame meal plus bonding experience for our players. The staff was incredible the food was outstanding! A special thank you to the Manager, Les, and our server. Thank so so much, see you again :)

Went in today for a late breakfast. Unfortunately our food was not pleasing at all. I ordered a skillet and my wife ordered a grilled cheese, my breakfast potatoes were cold and tasted like they were cooked yesterday, then my wifes potatoes were so burnt it was actually a funny contrast to see both our potatoes. Both were cold, tasteless and an underwhelming breakfast for sure. I had the hollandaisse sauce on the side, which was good as it was split. Service was good, but we wont bother going back. Sad that a breakfast place cant get breakfast food right. Considering we were 2 out of the 6 people in there, hot food at least would have saved a one star review.

I recently visited cora on Langley bypass for my brunch with my husband, and had the worst experience, only one server named sophie was nice and helped us , the host was incredibly unprofessional with one other server, they were talking really loudly near out table gossiping and did not get any cutlery we asked for it and then those women started making faces and chitchatting again around the table not paying any attention, while were leaving the same lady just passed by nt even excusing herself, which made me write this review, so that customers can really know what they will be getting themselves into

When they recently had the worst experience ever, the customer service was not that great and we didn t feel that welcoming there. The only stuff that was nice was Sophie would not recommend going there.

Visited on a Friday with my family, although the restaurant was busy, our server Aisha was very attentive, humorous and friendly, making sure we were well taken care of. Refreshing to see someone working with charisma and energy, we observed her greeting and chatting with what seemed like regular visitors to Cora, nice to see!

My friends and I came here for brunch the other day and were lucky to be served by Aisha. She was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the Louie which had a little bit of everything on the plate. I enjoyed every bite. Thank you again Aisha for making our brunch even more enjoyable, will definitely be coming again!

The manager, Les, and his crew are absolutely wonderful! Warm, welcoming and, attentive. The food did not disappoint, either! It will be a regular stop when traveling. Thanks for the great experience!

Sometimes you need to wait a long time but the food is always good

I had breakfast here today. Very good. I have celiac disease. My server Ashley was amazing. I said I wanted GF toast and she said it would be in a shared toaster. She suggested the potatoes instead and told me the kitchen does take allergies very seriously. Thank you Ashley you are fabulous! Thank you Coras staff for the great experince. False advertisement for online orders they claim the cheese is melted on morning hotdogs but it s a cheese spread. On top of that, they put a teaspoon of custard on for a $20+ crepe. Oh and don t even get me started on the drinks $7 for an iced macchiato built for a dwarf. Better off going to Starbucks. $7 for a 3.5 INCH CUP OF COFFEE. Added a picture with a ruler.

Waited over 30 minutes for our food. My crepe was cold, and I didnt get the cocoa crepe Id asked for. For the prices they charge, its ridiculous that my meal was served cold. Maybe they should shut uber eats orders down when theyre overwhelmed so their dine-in customers can have warm food. Will not be going back.

Extremely impressed with the excellent customer service I received from Les, the Manager when there was an issue with my Door Dash delivery. The meal was great, but my dessert was in the wrong container that was extremely small. Not only did I get to enjoy the part of my meal that did arrive, Les also gave me a full credit for what I paid for my meal. Thank you, Les! The location on hwy 10 and 152 st is much better. Potato wedges were raw with no skin here. For $35 definitely not worth it for one person

I recently visited this restaurant and had a thoroughly disappointing experience. The service was disorganized and inattentive, and the food was incorrect not once, but twice. First, the initial waitress didnt understand my order, and it took a second waitress to finally get it right. However, when the food arrived, it was incorrect. I tried to find someone to speak with, but the staff were too busy chatting with each other to notice my concerns. I got up, went to the kitchen, returned the food and expected a corrected meal, but what I got was half of my original order re-served to me by a third waitress. When I asked for the rest of my meal, it arrived with cracked yolks - unacceptable for any dining establishment. Whats worse, I wasnt the only one who noticed the poor service. Another customer at a nearby table witnessed the debacle and even approached the staff to complain about the service they were providing. The lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and inattentive staff made for a frustrating and disappointing experience. I left the restaurant without touching my meal, and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone until they address these systemic issues and provide better training for their staff.

My wife and I had the misfortune of taking our Grandsons to breakfast for what we thought would be great, based on past experiences. The total opposite was what we experienced with non attentiveness to service , terrible coffee and an unacceptable waiting time for overcooked crepes , rubber eggs and cold waffles. We wont be back.

Servers are friendly but very inattentive . Food takes well over 30-45 minutes to come the food is good but it takes forever to come. If you want to eat here be ready for a long 45 minute. The second you get your food after the wait they won t leave you alone so it s wrong time to check at the wrong time

We got to the place got seated right away. Waited 1 hour for food and asked then had to wait another 20 minutes for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes of waiting. Do Better!

I used to go to A&W for my morning breakfast, but I got tired of the loud teenybop music and the cursing of men that congregate over there all the time in the morning. I am so glad I found this place. The atmosphere is really nice, the service is amazing, and the food was very delicious and good portions for what you pay. Maria my server was so nice and her smile was genuine, she definitely made the experience even better, I found my new favourite spot to have breakfast!

Called ahead as I have celiac and wanted to know if this place is as safe to eat. I was assured that I could order from a list of good options, including GF crepes. Waited 30 minutes for food, crepes were terrible and the waitress was incredibly rude. My daughter had eggs Benny and got very sick that afternoon from the poor quality and care this place has. Even the manager came to talk to me and was useless and refused to give me any sort of significant discount. Barely even apologized. Just offered me his card for a discounted meal at a later date. Like I really want to come back to your dirt hole after that experience? Get a life and do better, Cora.

Been to Coras numerous times and locations and I am sad to say the poutine I ordered was barely edible. Perhaps because it was an hour before closing and the sauce had sat for too long, dont know. But I would be reluctant go back to that location. Sorry to have to say it.

Always had a great experience until my last visit. The potatoes were hardly cooked, was served basically cold greasy boiled potatos. Absolutely digusting. Enough to never want to come back again.

Ordered food via Uber App. Pauls meal the Eggs were not cooked as specified. Yolks and Some egg white were very runny. One large whole strawberry had a brown spot - it was mold! Cut the spot off but rest of berry tasted like mold. Grossed out & had to stop eating my breakfast. Disappointed that Uber wont t refund the Pauls meal. This was first time trying food from Cora. Everything else was really good. Rest of family liked their meals.

The waitress we had at Coras was AMAZING. She was polite and kind. She even held our baby to let us eat! Beyond words on how nice our service was here. I didnt catch her name, she was from Manila. But man, give that woman a raise because she is literally the kindness waitress Ive ever had in my life.

Worst breakfast in a long time. I couldn t even eat it. Overcooked omelette pretending to be scrambled eggs and so much unwanted debris on the potatoes. I ate one and it was undercooked and greasy, while having burnt bits all over it. The waitress was very nice and listened to my complaints. She asked if I wanted a replacement and I said no thanks. She brought out replacement eggs and potatoes anyway and they looked just as bad. There was a huge chunk of burnt to a crisp something in the new plate. The bacon had debris on it too. The only good thing was the one (not two) slice of toast I got. If I m going to pay more than $20 for breakfast I expect it to be decent at least. She comped it for me, which was nice. Even my breakfast partner had burnt grill debris bits in her pancakes. Please go to the Surrey 10/152 location if you want an actual good plate of Louis the Undecided!

We came on Sunday, Aaisha was our server and she was unbelievable! She was so consistent and a great person. She handled us with good care and such a huge smile, she was phenomenal with our food and brought out everything correctly and on time. We would love to come back & get served by Aaisha again!

The food here is OK. It s standard chain breakfast food. It s not bad but it s also not great. Coffee is barely passable. But it s one of the few breakfast place that opens early.

Wont be back

Nothing went well. After being seated by host was not offered a drink for 10 minutes. Food came out after 50 minutes after ordering. Wrong menu item which thankfully I was not charged for. Quality of food was ok . Potatoes were undercooked. The thing is today I was super agitated waiting so long to be asked for a beverage and it just deteriorated from there. I have read up on the reviews since having this experience and consensus is pretty much the same. Maybe more staff is needed .

Came here Tuesday at 1 and received superstar service by Ashley, but we weren t surprised at all because she always gives us superstar service no matter how busy it is. Kid-friendliness: Our easily-bored five-year-old son enjoyed it and received food especially to his taste.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and joy. Rapidly seeded, and felt very taken care of. Almost immediately, I was greeted by my server, her smile, energy and amazing personality made our visit and brunch amazing. Ashley went over, above and beyond call of duty and took care of us like we were her her own. Such an amazing experience at Cora Langley. Also, a big thank you to the rest of the team, hosts, cooks and management. We re having such a dialled in team, truly giving customers an amazing experience in such uncertain times.

Food and atmosphere was great! Server unfortunately not so much. (The greeter was super friendly tho, 5 stars to her!) I d say come for food, don t expect service.

Fresh fruit, Good food quality, so many options to order!

Food was great but the server we had was extremely nice and polite. We had ordered pancakes but she forgot about it because of a special order we had so I assume she forgot because of that. But she made it up by taking some chargers off the bill but was really nice about! However the cleaning guy there he sprayed the tables but also he sprayed on top of the salt and pepper bottles while he was cleaning.

Waited at our table for over 15 minutes, a waitress told us shed be back to take our orders. She never returned, and after a while we walked out and drove to IHOP!! Not sure if it was a staffing issue, or prejudice, or discrimination, whatever the reason, will not be going to cora any time soon.

Really disappointed with this restaurant. Something as simple as grilled potatoes to make, they couldnt figure it out. The 1st time, they were not well cooked. We asked them to proper cook/ fry them. The 2nd time the potatoes looked burnt out still not well cooked inside. They gave us less than 10% discount. Coffee was tasteless, too much water. I guess thats what they mean for unlimited coffee. Bad quality of coffee. I dont recommend this place. I rather fix a brunch myself at home

The fruit that supposed to come with the Benedict was the last piece of orange which doesn t even had any orange on it to eat. Maria is a wonderful waitress. She remembers her customers and is always smiling. She is right there with the coffee. When Teresa comes in She always stops by to say good morning. I recommend Coras.

The server was very friendly and accommodating. The kitchen had some difficulty getting food out hot. An egg crepe combo had to be sent back for reheating.

Very Good Breakfast Place , Service was Very good

Coras is usually one of my favorite places, but the last couple of times, we have not enjoyed our experience. There seemed to be enough staff but nobody came by to check for coffee refills and we couldnt get a hold of the waitress to ask for one. Took a while for the meal to come out and when it did, it was missing toast. I am a egg/toast dunker so I waited. By the time the toast came, the eggs were cold. Unfortunately with Coras increased prices and the service, we would think twice before going for breakfast here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Coras. Food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient.

We love going to Cora. Its one of the most kid friendly restaurants and the menu has something for everyone. No super fancy foods, just usual foods made delicious. Service is fairly quick once you get a seat. There can be quite a line up during rush hours though. Items ordered - Smoked Montreal meat skillet Brunch Burger Egg with pancake Vegetarian options: Good options for vegetarians Parking: There are a few other shops that share the parking area but its usually easy to find parking Kid-friendliness: Its one of the few restaurants that actually gives a good kids menu. Also almost all tables have kids so you wont get stared at if your kid acts out a bit lol!

Our family tries to have bdays here and are usually satisfied with the food. The presentation of the food is always amazing and servers are usually excellent. I had a lovely meal here the other day. Great selection of food, and great accommodations for vegetarians! The presentation of the food was so appetizing. We were greeted by Sophia when we came in, she really brightened our day and made the establishment feel warm and welcoming!

Jan 13/2024 update: Coras is so good that we are now going there more regularly. Food is still amazing & looks just like the menu pictures. We were in Marias section and no matter how busy it gets, she is fast, cheerful, friendly and helpful. This is the best breakfast restaurant Ive ever been in. :) November/2023: Extremely happy to find many options for people on restrictive eating plans at a fair & decent price. Perfect poached eggs, thick whole wheat Texas toast, and lots of freshly cut fruit (pineapple, honeydew, canteloupe, watermelon, banana, blueberries), and bottomless coffee. Went with friends and all 4 breakfasts were perfect. Very nice waitstaff (thank you Maria & Tracy) who were committed to making sure our coffee cups were full and our food was perfect. We will be going again. Dietary restrictions: Freshly cut fruit (NOT from a jar, not in syrup). Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children and lots of kid-friendly options.

Came here because of the reputation and was a bit disappointed. The coffee latte I ordered was good, but the amla was very greasy and tasted a bit like ten thousand years old oil. Although there were many fruits, it didn t feel fresh. The service is average. I understand that the waiters work hard, but customers don t expect impatient faces, so we don t tip much~

Came for a birthday breakfast this morning for our table to only be treated extremely poorly by our blonde server. It felt like we were sat an invisible table as we watched other coffees and drinks in our section be topped up and ignore us. Once flagged down and asked for a refill we had the pot of coffee slammed on the table. We also witnessed her eye roll other tables and staff and respond with a blunt sure when a request for ketchup was made. To top it off food was bland and the fact we received ZERO hospitality I can guarantee we will never be back. If you don t want to be in hospo, please find a job that makes you happy ..

My sister and I are frequent regulars at this location. The food is great and the service is fantastic, it s always so welcoming! We always come here for our server Ashley, and make a special request to sit in her section. Ashley goes above and beyond! Always preparing our drinks before we even make it to our table and is always friendly! We love it here and we love Ashley!

Ive been to Coras a few times only because my niece likes it. Cant say Ive ever had great food there. So unless youre taking my niece I would say meh.

Had a single egg Benedict with bacon and tomatoe. Asked to have the egg medium but that never happened. The service wanst the greatest. I believe servers should should serve each customer at the table from the left. Not stand at the end and pass out plates THATS NOT SERVICE. And definitely doesnt deserve a tip.

This is a go-to breakfast place for me. The food is always good, but it is the service I go back for. If I am lucky enough to arrive there on a day when Ashley is serving, I always choose her section. She has an amazing gift of immediately being comfortable with people and has tons of charisma. When I watch her serving other customers, I can see that she treats every customer as though they are the most important person in her life. She could be training other servers how to interact with customers. Even on a crazy busy day, she is still smiling and cheerful. I imagine it would take a very miserable customer to get anything but the best from her. I have never had any bad servers at this restaurant, but Ashley stands out as probably my best experience with a server in any restaurant. 5 Gold Stars!

First time visiting this location. The potatoes are not as good as the other locations (Vancouver and North Vancouver). The waitress gave us one more side but still it s not the recipe we love from Cora

Went to this location for Saturday brunch. Had to wait for about 10-15 mins for a table. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our server Sophie was amazing and quick. She made sure to accommodate all of our requests. We tried their smoked salmon and goat cheese benny which was very good.

Our server was amazing! I think her name was Tracy. Tracy is one of the sweetest ladys I have ever met. She was such a great server and would fix our food immediately without any commotion. She was apologetic when the food wasnt up to our standards and overall we felt like our complaints were heard, unlike some other restaurants. Tracy also took the time to make conversation and make us feel welcome despite how busy it was. She even gave us advice and told us little stories. There was also another girl who kept coming up to us named Sophia. She was the one who met us at the door. She was so sweet and kind. We could tell it was really busy but she still took the time to stop by and make us laugh. Tracy went above and beyond to care for all of our requests. The food wasnt anything amazing but the service was great :))

My favourite breakfast place, and our valentines tradition. The food is always amazing and service is friendly.

Food was ok as you d find in this type of restaurant, however the service wasn t. They didn t refill the coffee, I mean not even once. We ve been to many busy breakfast places, we know how it should be. This one wasn t that busy at that particular hour. So when we wanted to get our first refill nobody was looking our way, like they all tried not to catch us looking for their attention. Once we got one of the servers which was the one assisted us to be seated, her attitude wasn t really friendly even though she wasn t rude either by replying that she ll call for our server. That s just our experience, maybe others get better service. Anyway, definitely not going to this location, sorry.

In an increasingly crowded brunch market, Cora s is still a stand out. They somehow manage the weekend crowds quicker than their counterparts and every time I ve been to this location, our waitresses have been friendly and prompt. I like that they have a variety of options for ordering some sweet and salty and you will not leave hungry with the large portion sizes! I only wish they had stronger coffee. Vegetarian options: Recently started carrying beyond meat!

Decided to go and have breakfast at Cora s. We waited 1/2 hour for our food and it came out cold especially the fries, which were burnt. The crapes were undercooked and raw. Just awful and very over priced.

Smelled like a pet store. Food was good though.
