I have been wanting to try OEB for awhile and today I did. I had the smoked brisket Benny and my partner had the breakfast tacos. The food was good, nicely presented and lots of interesting choices on the menu. One side of the menu was breakfast and the other side lunch. It would have been nice to see some interesting healthy mains, everything was pretty heavy. Service was pleasant although she made an error putting our food into the kitchen so it took a long time. These things happen and she did apologize so no big deal. My biggest critiques of this location are the pretty uncomfortable chairs and the acoustics in the room. Open kitchen (which is good) but super loud. I would go back to try a few more menu items and can see why this chain is popular.
My rating is based on comparisons with three other locations I have previously visited: King West in Toronto, Yaletown in Vancouver, and 1st Ave in Calgary. So far, I have been underwhelmed by this location. I ordered a dish that was recommended by the friendly waitress, who unfortunately did not seem knowledgeable about quality dishes. The dish was overly salty, and I felt it was important to mention the potential health issues this could pose for customers with diabetes, as the recommended meal might negatively affect their well-being. When we shared our suggestions to improve the dishes, she responded, "I'm just a waitress; the staff in the kitchen won't listen to me." I'm not sure what kind of teamwork is in place here, but I am not impressed. We ordered: - Montreal Smoked Meat Benny (I do not recommend any dish with the smoked meat, especially if you've tried Schwartz Deli in Montreal; you’ll be disappointed. Instead, order the Holy Crab, The One That Did Not Get Away, or the Eggs Florentine.) - A new menu item that is Middle Eastern inspired called Shakshuka (I do not recommend this unless you request that the salt be reduced by 50%).
We had brunch on Monday 9th September. I Ordered over medium and my wife ordered poached medium egg. And we got over easy and poached soft. Server explained to us it was medium cooked when we were paying the bill. So it was cooked right. For me it looks like under cooked. And egg white was runny too. Also I ordered coffee and server never gotten back to us for refill. We tried to call but she was busy didn't hear and walked away. The coffee Never gotten refilled.
I love this breakfast spot! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is AMAZING! My third visit was today and our server Julio was a delight (knowledgeable and friendly!) and the female server helping him (I didn’t catch her name) was also so sweet and personable. We will definitely be coming back! And 8am was the perfect time, it wasn’t busy and the patio was perfection.
A very enjoyable meal. Not rushed. First timer - I will have to go back many times. There are so many options. Everyone was so kind and open from the server to the chefs. Accommodating for all choices. Yummy is the word. Quieter on the balcony/deck to talk or for older patrons. Great music! So many things to see and now at home looking at products and promotions. I still don’t know what OEB stands for….😉🤷🏼♀️🤣…not that it matters. I love the furnishings though I did wonder if the chair would hold me and I do wonder what the maximum weight is. Also the width would be a concern for a possible tight fit. There is other seating and booths.
Two days in a row having breakfast at OEB Breakfast Co. in Langley. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. Despite the place being at full capacity both times, we didn't have to wait long to be seated, even with a group of seven. The food service is impressively fast. If Cora's, IHOP, and Denny's don't improve their service and food quality, they may soon be dethroned by OEB Breakfast Co. While the ambiance is fine, the standout feature is their exceptional customer service. The manager, Michael Moore, is the best restaurant manager I've ever encountered; he's incredibly friendly and always attentive to table service. Ariel, a busboy, provides service that surpasses many waiters. I highly recommend this place for a truly enjoyable breakfast experience.
When they say “fill the soul” they really mean it! Pictures don’t do enough justice to how sensational the food is here🤤 and the customer service…1000000000000/10! Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, personable, attentive, & overall great. It made our experience that much better! They really made the effort to connect with you and talk with you! And every dish we had was mouth watering and seasoned perfectly! I’m so glad we found this place! I would gladly drive back here from Washington anytime. I definitely recommend this place for brunch if you’re here in Langley
We recently visited OEB Breakfast located in Langley and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. There is a long lineup here everytime we are passing by especially on the weekend but this time it was not that busy so we decided to try them out. The food was absolutely delicious - we ordered a random item on their menu and it was cooked to perfection. The quality of ingredients was top-notch and the portion size was larger than we expected. The service was exceptional - the staff was very friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. They ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere of the place was very nice - cozy and welcoming with a charming decor that added to the overall experience. It was a great place to start our day with a tasty breakfast and a cup of freshly brewed coffee on the side. Overall, I highly recommend this breakfast joint to anyone looking for a great meal, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be returning soon!
My favorite breakfast diner in BC! The threesome is my go to. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. GF waffles are fantastic. Food : 5/5 |
Great atmosphere while enjoying amazing food. Wonderful place to start your day. Javier served us and he was fantastic!
If you re looking for somewhere that has incredible food and service, check out OEB. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated like VIPs. The staff was super attentive and our server Kayla went above and beyond, adding her personal touches to make our experience even more special. The food came out fast and was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I will certainly have to come back.
They say chicken is halal. Great place for breakfast
If like eggs go to this one
Excellent selection of brunch items. Service quick and friendly. So many more items I want to try. The beermosa was excellent as well
Food is very good. A fun place
Been here a few times now. Was so excited whe I found when the one in Yaletown opened, and so much more when this location opened close to my place! My first time visiting was years ago in Calgary. Love the Breakfast Poutines and French Toast!
It was meh, just okay .. (it was the best breakfast I ve had in my life pls try the Benedict).
Updating my previous review. They made up for the miscommunication. Food was great. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Will definitely be back again. I mostly spoke because I was hangry. 5/5 thanks again.
The food was fantastic and quick, even while being extremely busy. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable. This was my first time going and I will definitely be back. The prices were reasonable too.
The care and love from the server/kitchen was amazing. Love the care and concern.
We ordered breakfast thru skip we were very disappointed how much food we got. We spent $43. 00 bucks for classic breakfast and eggs Benny. Very small portions. The food was okay the portions should be more for the expensive price.
Just had the most awful first experience here. It is extremely loud. Everyone is crammed in. There is barely any room to get in and out of your seat. The tables are so close together. My experience was made worse by the obnoxious guy sitting next to me. His conversation was extremely loud, and he dropped an f-bomb in every sentence. Service wasnt great either, food was ok.
The service was top notch!, we had a reservation for 14 ladies, the staff was so nice and patient!, what i ordered was delicious! Parking: Willowbrook mall parking space
My son s scrambled eggs weren t cooked. The pancakes were doughy inside. My omelette had oversized chunks of green pepper , a skimpy 6 hashbrowns half wedges and only one piece of toast!? Even the bacon was bad .i didn t think that was possible! $65 for the worst breakfast for two ever! Ruined my Saturday
Great food and friendly service and its worth the wait. For a truly excellent experience, I recommend requesting for the patio as it tends to be excessively loud in the dining area. My go-to is the traditional Benny. I usually never eat the potatoes at other places but the ones here are delicious. Theres a lot of variety and theres something for anyone. As stated previously, if you have a choice between the patio or the dining area, go for the patio.
Really nice place to go for brunch. I went a Sunday around noon, and the wait wasnt that bad, less than 10 minutes. Super yummy toast
enjoyed , very busy. food was okay
Came in for a bday celebration on Nov 10th and Kristy was our server. She did an amazing job! She was very attentive, kind and personable. We had an amazing time and will be back again!!
Best place for brunch. Been coming here since they opened and they never disappoint! Michael has done a great job with all the staff here. Everyone is always so efficient and welcoming. Food
Awesome breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Good breakfast spot!
10/10! First time here. Was absolutely blown away by the menu options and atmosphere. Our waiter, Lachlan, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and soft tempered. Totally made the experience level up. The food was also amazing and so tasty! Can not wait to come back and try more options.
Nice place , Great food , nice attention
My husband and I were in town visiting his 89 year-old Grandma, and on the way out of town, we wanted to get a good start to our day with the proper fuel. And we are so thrilled to have found this place. The food was so fresh! The service was welcoming and friendly! We will definitely be frequenting OEB forevermore! Im just sad they dont have a location closer to our hometown, but do go here. You will NOT be disappointed. P.S: PLEASE TELL THEM TO BOTTLE THEIR SMOKED MUSTARD
Service was good, it was busy (as expected on a weekend morning) but very easy to join the wait list online and we were sat promptly. Our server was friendly and the food arrived quickly. My husband ordered the Cluck Norris sandwich and said it was delicious, but unfortunately my lox bagel was subpar. The bagel was hard and seemed stale. After sawing through half of it my jaw was a bit too sore to keep going. Overall, would try here again, but avoid the bagels unless you want an arm workout.
We went to this restaurant in a Saturday morning with a reservation. It s not that crowded and it was rains heavily outside. The reception won t even let us wait inside for just 5 sec. We have a three years old daughter btw
The food was, as always, delicious. This is the restaurant I always take guests from out of town to. However, today s service was far from satisfactory. The servers seemed like they were in a hurry to clear the plates, coming to our table multiple times to ask if they could take them away, even though we still had fruit and fries left. It felt like we were being rushed to stop eating, and it made us really uncomfortable. After an hour, they asked if they could clear the plates and if we needed anything else three times within ten minutes, which made us feel pressured. Since we had a child with us, we were eating slower than adults normally would, but their constant rushing made the experience stressful and uncomfortable. I m not sure if there s a time limit for dining, but if there is, I would have preferred if they told us upfront. Instead, they just kept coming to our table and making us feel like we were overstaying our welcome. It was disappointing, especially because I brought guests visiting from Montreal and had recommended this place as a must-visit. It was honestly embarrassing. At one point, the guests even had to ask the servers to give us a bit more time that just shows how uncomfortable the situation had become. I don t think I ll be bringing guests here again.
My absolute favourite place to go and get breakfast/brunch! The staff are amazing and always make me feel welcome and valued. The food is amazing and you can tell it s made with a true passion. 10/10! Best place!
Really disappointed not for Vegans or Vegetarians. In 21st century I am amazed barely any options. Ended up ordering one toast, You toast. To my surprise it was only one small toast, barely anything. Very small potion for the price at least provide the customer propper size or a second toasts. Amazing Service was great and environment is amazing. Im hoping for future customers there will be improvement
This is an unreal place to go for breakfast food. The staff are fast and responsive, the morning outdoor atmosphere is fun and fresh, and the food is excellently balanced between flavour strength, heartiness, and harmony.
Food was great! Service was good til they told us to leave because our son was too loud. We ve paid and all and just wanted to sit longer so we can finish our coffees. And our server came up to us and told us that our son was too loud and his big voice just echoes in their small space so we had to leave. We ve never been asked to leave a restaurant before til now.
At OEB Breakfast Co. in Langley, the traditional eggs benedict is like the culinary equivalent of a perfectly orchestrated symphony each ingredient playing its role to create a harmonious masterpiece. Imagine the gentle crackle of an expertly toasted English muffin, serving as the solid stage for the performance that follows. The poached eggs, with yolks as golden and fluid as the first rays of morning sunshine, are perched delicately atop, promising a cascade of richness with every slice. The hollandaise sauce is where the magic truly unfolds. Velvety and smooth, it drapes over the eggs like a luxurious silk blanket, adding a buttery tang that lingers just long enough to keep you yearning for more. And then there s the delicate dance of seasoning a pinch of paprika here, a touch of chive there like a painter s brushstrokes, adding depth and vibrance to the dish. The side of crisp potatoes, seasoned to perfection, completes the experience, providing a subtle crunch that contrasts beautifully with the creamy textures of the benedict. Each bite of this traditional delight evokes a sense of comfort and sophistication, as if youve been invited to a breakfast affair in a quaint European café, savoring a dish that s been perfected over generations. It s not just a meal it s a delightful journey for your senses, where every element of the eggs benedict at OEB Breakfast Co. has been crafted with passion and care, making it a must-try for anyone seeking an extraordinary breakfast experience.
OEB is one of our family s favourite brunch spots because the food and service is amazing. We love the breakfast poutines and our kids love anything off the kids menu. Management always goes above and beyond and the servers are the best. We love having OEB so close to home.
Delicious food, friendly staff, great atmosphere!
Great spot for breakfast, some really good options but some just ok. Had the Montreal Brisket Benny, was good but a tad bit salty, not sure which part of it. My wife ordered the fajita style omlette, she didnt love it much, I found it just ok too. I wouldnt recommend that dish. Mimosa flight was very nice. Atmosphere is nice, would definitely be back. On the pricey side for how much you get, but its fancier than Ihop! I will definitely try more things on the menu.
Unique and delicious. Great service as well.
Overpriced, uninspired, amd bland For people that cant tell the difference between a restaurant thats trying to be trendy, and a restaurant that serves a good breakfast. Even the worst mom and pop joints in langley will have better food than this. Servers were very polite tho
We just had a brunch at this restaurant with our dog. The patio, atmosphere, host, waitresses, coffee, food, and everything else were amazing! Most importantly, we were impressed by the restaurant manager Daniele. She provided one of the best dining experiences we ever had. She helped us replace the food we ordered by accident and offered a pleasant customer experience. We want to thank her for her service. We will definitely come back!
Rude service. No thank you.
The food had a wonderful taste. The Montreal smoked brisket was especially delicious, and the French toast was also very tasty. I believe this restaurant is one of the best in Langley for brunch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch spot.
Food was a bit too greasy (breakfast potatoes). Service was exceptional. Diner like atmosphere. Pet friendly .Will try again but will order something different
Possibly the best breakfast joint
The food was delicious!
Love coming here for brunch. Their dining room is a little loud so I like to request their patio it s covered but open air and much quieter.
Love the food at this place. The Breakfasts are different and amazing!
Not very impressed. Food was cold, small portions, no refills on our drinks and premium prices for the amount being served. Ordered one traditional eggs benny with ham, one crepe, two kids poutines. Eggs were runny when asked for hard cooked, asked for pepper - didnt even make it to the table slow service. The amount of food you get is appalling compared to the prices, portions are very very small. In all honesty it was whatever for a $70 cheque. No interest in coming back.
The breakfast was so good.
Okay, this Montreal Smoked Brisket was DE-LICSCIOUS. The hash was even better because its fried in tallow (flavour bomb). Overall, service, food, and atmosphere was phenomenal. Parking: The mall has plenty of parking
Top tier breakfast place, highly recommend to anyone in the area
The food isn t bad, but doesn t stand out. Feel rushed when I had been there, like eat your food and leave.
Great Service with good Food.
I love the atmosphere and I am a brunch lover. However, I was a little disappointed today with my lunch. I ordered Benny with Medium eggs. When I got food looked ok until I cut my egg it was soft easy and runny.. when you are paying I just wanted to mention the server (the server looked pretty new) I told her I just wanna mention that I ordered medium eggs for my Benny but it was runny The server said Oh we use different eggs so medium is runny even the white part, if you want medium next time just tell us you want hard eggs I looked at the menu theres no message that they used different kinda eggs so cooked differently. I ve been to so many brunch restaurants and I ve been to other OEBs I never heard this thing
First time coming out to any of the OEB locations and was very happy with the experience. It was packed with tasty food and people enjoying their meals. They were very accommodating with providing us a high chair, which was nice. Planning on coming out again!
Had a great time here.
My girlfriend and I come in for brunch sometimes and have always had the most amazing food and experiences, my only regret is that I didnt review sooner! My favourite by far is either the Montreal smoked brisket or the chasing chickens eggs Benedict! The staff is also amazing, and our server Josh was amazing and gave great recommendations on what to try next time! Thank you for great times at brunch! <3
Very very good food
The food here is absolutely delicious! I ordered the duck Benedict, and it was too die for!!! Cant wait too go back and try all the menu items
Always a great meal and excellent service!
Good place
Some of the most delicious breakfast/brunch foods I have ever tasted! A friendly welcome awaits upon entrance to an always bustling restaurant. Unique menu names will give you a warm fun-filled feeling and a little laugh. And the food is heavenly! We always ask to sit in Faith s section because she is an amazing server. She is conscientious, friendly, gives great food suggestions (you ll need this as it s hard to choose what to order), and is patient with all our children! I have had other staff serve our table and they have also been friendly. We will miss the always smiling manager since he has gone to another location. The patio section is by far my favourite as it overlooks a beautiful courtyard and is open almost all year round (except in -8 lol). Kid-friendliness: I have five children 15 to 8 months old and feel welcomed and not rushed. Servers will come say hi and interact with the kids! It s pretty great if you sit on the patio because the middle children like to go use the foosball table in the courtyard while they wait for their food!
The food was delicious I got a poutine and a mango smoothie it was by far the best mango smoothie I ve had 5/5
Excellent service (Kayla) and the food was delicious.
Great place.
The food and the service has been very reliable and consistent. The staff are always welcoming and know the menu very well and will offer suggestions if asked.
To be fair, the service was very good. However, I feel like the cost vs quantity/quality of food just isn t there. Been here twice and both times leaves me wanting more. Decent, but not 5 stars, high 3 star. The potatoes in beef tallow are excellent, over easy eggs were under-cooked ie runny whites. Dis place, is just ok. It works, but just not great. Example: Bro, why are you giving me one piece of toast with the traditional breakfast, you can t give two pieces of bread, how am I supposed to sop the yolk? Thats minus a star. Peace in the Middle East.
I would say average food a little overpriced as far as ambiance reminded me of a cafeteria. Too noisy, just my opinion. Not terrible but wont be going back.
Really love having my character judged based off my looks. I think after asking my girlfriend 4 times if she is alright and hee saying she is, the fifth time isnt necesrary, and also being extremely rude to just me when I have done nothing wrong, did literally nothing rude and gave a tip even after. Im fortunate to not experience much if any racism at all being an Asian in a predominately white community so Im hurt that I was treated like this in Canada where I have lived for 23 of my 24 years.
Ambivalent . . . ! Im a conscientious and experienced Reviewer and customer... This restaurant presents a wonderful food experience that is Substantially Compromised by the push-them-thru / the lineup might spend more, maximize the turnover attitude of the whole operation! This was our first visit to the Langley, BC location . . . It is Far too Noisy, crowded and pressured to allow you to savor the Very intriguing features on the menu ... Obviously an eastern franchise that literally oozes Ontario/Quebec from every offering: Canadian Bacon ! Or, Eleven variations on Poutine ! Food Quality is excellent (But Cold when it arrived) . . . We dont know what to recommend . . . ?
First time coming in to Oeb Langley, great lively atmosphere very family friendly. Their menu has options for everyone, I had the tropical smoothie and avocado toast and have no complaints for either. The staff here is so attentive, I had been sitting with my menu for maybe 5 minutes (not a big deal at all to me) and another staff member that was busy training new employees made sure I was taken care of before continuing with anything else. Even had the manager come up and ask me about my experience before I headed out, just goes to show the care they have for customer experience. Definitely a great place for brunch, will be coming back!
Went today for just a casual brunch, I ve been there a few times but decided to take my friend to try it for the first time. To say we left satisfied is an understatement. Briar was our server and she was the sweetest, kindest person ever. Made excellent recommendations to us for food and drinks and actually cared to have genuine conversations with us. She then sent over her manager saying he just had to meet us and even he was amazing. Asked how everything was and even had a nice conversation with us too, he even went as far as to give us his card for the next time we come. For working at a restaurant myself, we ve never been met with this kind of hospitality and customer service ever. We will 1000% be back and thank you Briar and Michael for an amazing 10/10 experience!!!
Great place for breakfast. Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff as well
Amazing food and excellent service. Would definitely recommend
Food is amazing! Staff amazing, but we wont go unless we can eat outside, or Im with someone I dont actually want to talk with! The noise level in the restaurant is intolerable. That includes the young people in my group as well as me. Love this place, but they need acoustic tiles or something to absorb the clatter from the kitchen, all the guests and music that is too loud.
Lovely food, drinks, atmosphere and service. Was super easy getting seated and welcomed. Every team member we passed made sure we had been helped. Dog friendly patio is amazing! Our server and the staff went above and beyond for us and our K9 guest. Thank you OEB! We will be back!
Went to try it out as the reviews were good. Asked the server what he would recommend and he didn t seem very confident in his suggestions. He suggested 2 duck options, 1 seafood and a French toast. We went with the French toast and the Cluck Norris. French toast was ok, maple syrup is VERY sweet so would suggest using only a little bit at first. Cluck Norris was good and would order again if we went back. Nice patio for the location
Great brunch place!
The absolute most tasty smoked salmon on a bagel I have had in a very long time!! Exceptionally good! Will definitely be back!!!
Food was fantastic, service was ok, music was to loud to have a normal conversation. When we mentioned this to the wait staff we were told we should have sat on the padio and had a dismissive attitude.
I go to this restaurant every week because the service is very good, the food is delicious and fresh, and the juice is made from fresh fruit
Had never been before.....and wow! Now I know why theres often a lineup to get in. Recommend giving it a try if youve never been.
Really cool experience, the staff is really polite and helpful. The food is mouth watering delicious.
Very happy with the menu, food and service. This was my first visit, they have tons of options. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable I will definitely be back again.
Unfortunately an awful experience. Our coffee was served to us black, our milk came about 15 minutes afterwards. It was strange. Then we waited an hour for our food. They served us the wrong order twice. By the time we got our correct orders, almost two hours had gone by. We were polite and understanding. The table beside us got the wrong order too. However, they were extremely rude and upset and even sent their food back because they thought it looked disgusting . As we were paying our bill and leaving, the table beside us got a gift card as an apology for messing up their order. It was a strange experience. We will not be returning or recommending the restaurant to our friends and family.
Very clean and spacious restaurant. Reservations are probably a must as it seems to be popular. Food was outstanding. Ordered the Lobster Scramble was delicious with good portions of lobster and shrimp. The meatless hash dish was excellent with avocados and back bacon. Just an outstanding breakfast with reasonable pricing.
Creative egg dishes plus unique coffees
WAY too loud but food was AMAZING !!
Favourite restaurant in all of Langley. continues to have the best service and food every time I ve gone!
I came in this morning to OEB, and promptly greeted and seated. My overall experience here was very good. Although cooked appropriately, I wasnt quite happy with the choice of bacon (just preferance) so my waitress Kendra did the exact right thing by asking if there was anything she could do better. Music to a Google Reviewers ears! She brought me some Canadian bacon which I liked much better. I could feel that she genuinely cared about my experience at OEB, well done. I normally snap a photo of breakfast to go along with my reviews (8 million + picture views) thinking Id reviewed OEB before but apparently not. I would love to return to do that at some point. This restaurant is clean and roomy and I was quite comfortable here. Thank you for the amazing service and hospitality! Ms. Fancy Google Reviewer (level 7) 8 million + picture views
OEB is hands down the best breakfast/brunch place to go to if you are near Willowbrook Mall. Their menu has a good variety of both sweet and savory options. Their breakfast poutine options are unmatched. I highly recommend the Chia Seed Pudding if youre looking for lighter fare - it is delicious. My only heads up is that they may ask if you want avocado added to certain dishes- be aware its a very expensive add on and they do not say the price up front. It is on the menu though.
Amazing food!! Super creative and not your average breakfast fare. A little noisy for me, but ok Food
OEB in Langley today was yum! Service was so good and food hit the spot for sure. The restaurant vibe is like a bustling city. Staff were all uber friendly and efficient. I dont think Id get the mimosa flight again but it was definitely worth a try and visually pleasing #eatwellbewell
Really like being able to reserve a table online. I hate brunch line-ups. Everything we ordered was food. Some items are overpriced in my opinion. For example, the $3 for a few berries with your waffle. Not sure they skimped or if thats the standard. Service was slow, but the place was quite busy. Plenty of parking outside. Will defintely go again.
UPDATED REVIEW: The manager invited my friend and me back after a poor service experience and OEB did not disappoint. My previous review only commented on the poor service, but at this point I would like to say it was probably an off day. This time, our server was extremely attentive and did not miss a beat. The food is truly impeccable and so is the sangria. We had a much better experience this time and will definitely be coming back. :)
The acoustics in this building are VERY loud. You can Barely hear the person across the table from you to have a conversation. Had a basic eggs and sausage breakfast, it only comes with one slice of toast which I thought was rather cheap for what your paying. The sausages were undercooked and the maple flavor in them wasnt good. Potato wedge hashbrowns were good. Had over easy Eggs, however very runny. Dont think I would wat here again. Our server was good.
The food was amazing and the service was wonderful; this was definitely one of the best breakfast experiences we have ever had.
Avoid this place at all costs, food is way overpriced!! Waitress are rude and unfriendly!Save yourself $ and go eat at Denny s across the stree!
3 stars for the atmosphere because its so loud in there. The food was amazing, and as a person who is celiac and has to eat gluten-free, I was restassured that my food was made taking proper precautions. The drinks are great as well. I will definitely be back. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available .
Great breakfast joint. Decently priced. Will be back!
I had a fantastic breakfast experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel welcome and the cozy atmosphere was inviting. I enjoyed every dish and drink I tried, the ingredients were fresh, the flavors were delicious and the presentation was impressive. I highly recommend here to anyone looking for a satisfying and memorable breakfast experience!
My neice and I went to OEB and it was amazing! The server was soooo nice and the food was amazing. I had the shrimp and lobster crepe and she had the primavera scramble with toast. Had an ice latte and she had a hot latte. Drinks were delicious too. We made reservations thank goodness cause the place was packed. I would highly recommend this place and the hollandaise sauce is to die for!
Expensive food should taste great. How can I eat my Expensive food when my uber eats order never came with utensils to eat it with!!! I clearly stated in my order I needed fork and knife. Well I guess Ill eat it with my fingers.
Great service and delicious food
Great place for brunch. Highly recommend the Hog and scallops poutine.
Was a bit leery about a breakfast place located in a mall, but my daughter and I decided to give it a go as we noticed it was consistently busy in the 1st few weeks after it opened. We are SO glad we did, and this is now our go-to favorite breakfast & brunch place. Bright, open and cheerful layout, very clean, attentive, quick & friendly staff, manager is actively involved and oversees whats being se t from the kitchen. Ingredients are fresh, presentation is great and nice healthy portion sizes. Whether its sweet, savory, healthy, hearty....or all of the above, this place really does have it all when it comes to menu choices! Their benedicts are my favorite The one and only drawback is that there can be a bit of a wait. Especially on weekends, just go early and give your name and wander around Willowbrook mall a bit, time passes in a flash! Highly recommend Do yourself a favor and go!
Granted, it was really busy, but it took forever to get our drinks. Food was good but that too took some time. Dietary restrictions: There is cross contamination and some items are incorrectly noted.
Nice place in the neighbourhood to have a leisurely brunch, food is ok, service is better and lot of waiting on the weekend if you haven t reserved.
Basically an upmarket IHOP. That supplies some of its own produce. Service is great, Food is ok not great. To many covers being served to ensure quality. Hence its?an upmarket ihop and its carries a price. Food
Highly recommend!! Flavour is out of this world and the service is up there to match!
Always love coming here, the hard part is deciding between the eggs benny and the croque madame! So freaking good. Amazing bread, fresh produce, caffe Umbria coffee! We have tried many different dishes on the menu and they have all been consistently good along with the service. Looking forward to coming back again
The service at this place is absolutely amazing!! The general manager michael as well as every staff member we have come in contact with are extremely nice and welcoming. They really care for and appreciate their customers. The food is amazing especially if you have dietary restrictions. I 1000% recommend this place to everyone!! Will be coming back often for sure.
Cant say enough about our experience there today. Arrived early afternoon with a friend of mine who recently lost his sight - and he has very specific needs as he adapts to his new life. The restaurant was super busy with a huge wait list, and when we got out table (worth the wait) the staff was amazingly patient, caring and accommodating. It is very easy when things are that busy to be short and rush people - not the case here. Faith, our server was a rock star and made our experience first rate. Michael, the GM checked and topped off what was already a great experience. Oh! Food is good too. Funky menu with lots of interesting choices - 100% recommend.
Testy! I ordered butternut squash truffles mushrooms eggs Benedict. I thought some slice mushrooms comes with eggs tho, there only butternut squash lol.
The Montreal smoked brisket eggs Benedict I ordered tasted like hot dogs. It was not good quality. Disappointing for the price
A bit loud but great food
Delicious berry waffle and loved the oat matcha! BEST!!
Man....what do I even say? This is THE best breakfast place and it isnt even close. The 1st time I tasted the food I wept. It was so good. The service was like I was being taken care of by family. Mike the manager and Kayla set the bar high on what it meant to provide the best service and the food is prepped quickly. If I could eat it everyday I WOULD.
I want to start of by saying that this is not my first time at OEB. My dog is a tiny 8 lb shitzu chihuahua mix that is 12 years old (senior) and well behaved. On your Instagram account, you advertise that you guys are pet friendly. On the photos, the dogs are sitting in the chairs--even with food! I just came back from your Langley location, I am still shaken up and embarrassed by one of your staff. I was bragging to my husband that your food are superb and dog friendly. Today is my dogs 12th birthday and we wanted to celebrate. We came just past 1pm, I know the rules that dogs cannot enter inside the restaurants without separate patio entrance. I went straight to your patio and told my husband to go on the front entrance to check in (since there is no workers at the patio). Upon seated, the waitress gave us the menu and she saw us seat our small dog on the chair --she did not say anything. Then, while she was grabbing our order, my husband sat our dog to his lap--once again, the waitress did not say anything. Finally, she gave us our drinks as we ordered coffee and smoothies, at this time, the dog is still on my husbands lap--for the third time, the waitress did not say anything. Once our food came, the manager gave us our food and immediately told us that the dog must stay on the floor. He did explain to us that they are dog friendly and some people are not comfortable with the dog. To be fair, this person was polite. We politely agreed and leased our dog on the floor. I must say that we are on the farthest left side of the patio (large side patio) away from other people. On top of this, this is on a Monday, after the lunch rush, and theres only 2 tables with people on the patio. While eating, we gave our dog some burger meat, fed it to her while she is on the floor. We used our hands to give her tiny bit of our burger. After just few minutes, my dog wanted to be carried. She was becoming uneasy and barked once...just once... so what I did is, I grabbed her and put her on my side (still on my lap but she was facing the wall, under the table). The manager (or whoever he was) came again and told us that she needs to be on the floor and we cannot feed her as people might get mad. My husband said we are leaving soon and so sorry as she is not used to being on the floor as the floor is hot due to the weather. I politely asked the manager and told him we will leave soon... Overall, we spent $80 for 15 minutes at OEB and left embarrassed and disappointed. I understand the rules, but please do not do false advertisement. If we were told from the moment we sat down that dogs are not allowed on the chair or even on our lap, we would have left--but you waited until we have our food. Also, you advertise on your social medias that they are allowed on the seats. Because of this, I will not come back to OEB. I am also growing my dogs intagram page and was planning to tag OEB and recommend you but I will not do that now. ___________________________________________ Michael, I appreciate the dog bowl and as I said, you were polite. However, we felt very stressed and harrased afterwards. My dog is a senior dog and small! She was bothered by the hot flooring (hence why she barked). I understand that all dogs are the same but I feel that you should make it clear to people about your rules--it is not posted anywhere and it should be said by the time you sit in. On top of this, your social media team should make a disclaimer as well. It was a very stressful and disappointing experience that I am still shaken about it until now. Top of it, the money wasted as we did not get to enjoy our food and my very considerate husband even gave tips. I felt really bad for my dog too that I have to squeeze in on my side by the wall as we are trying to finish our food. I understand you are just doing your job, but I am voicing out my concerns. Thank you.
Amazing. Always such a great eating experience for me and my wife! Thank you!
Was a bit loud, sitting outside was better
OEB Breakfast exceeded my expectations! The Egg Benedict and lobster crepe were outstanding, easily among the best breakfast dishes Ive ever had. The service was attentive and friendly, despite the long weekend lineup definitely worth the wait! The only downside was the small table for four, but that wont deter me from returning for another delicious meal.
Just had an absolutely delicious meal with my bestie in Langley (of all places ). The delicious food was served promptly, and our server Jaylen was confident, kind, and fun. Michael the friendly manager came over and chatted with us for a good while, and I think we may have just found our new fave breakfast spot. Thanks, guys.
Found this place by chance and loved it. Would highly recommend for breakfast.
Great for and friendly attentive staff
We came for brunch and the food was amazing. The restaurant was very busy but our server Christine (Hope I am remembering that right) was still lovely, friendly, and exactly the right amount of attentive. The french toast with orange in the batter so good! And the avacado toast had some kind of refreshing sauce that was really addictive, we almost ordered doubles and we will definitely be back. Dietary restrictions: My friend doesnt eat eggs and we were easily able to get it on the side.
It was ok, but dont think Id go back. Nothing wrong, but nothing outstanding either.
EDIT: Upon my second visit to OEB, absolutely any criticism has been evaporated from my mind. A perfect five stars across-the-board from manager Michael and his entire staff. Really an amazing place to get food. Normally I m very much more a hole in the wall kind of guy for brunch and do not give the edge to these more branded, professional looking joints, but there s really not a competition now when it comes to breakfast in Langley. You should do yourself a favor, go here, and treat yourself to the fantastic dining options and excellent wait staff that works here. I leave full and incredibly happy, not much else you can ask from a restaurant. Thank you for the amazing experience you gave to both my mother and I, we will not forget it and will encourage all to go here. Original review: The food was really great, I cannot knock the place for that. My fiancé and I love brunch/breakfast and were very excited to try this place out since it opened. It did not disappoint and the menu is surprisingly large but not too intimidating. So much to try to encourage repeat visits! The staff were also excellent. Super professional, polite, well taught, and just chipper to be around. Great management and character on display.
Well done for this place. I grew up in Montreal eating cora breakfast back in my childhood and this place surprised me with a excellent service and food was delicious. 10/10
This is one of our favorite breakfast spots. It is located at Willowbrook mall, so its convenient before or after shopping and theres ample parking. If youre looking for great food, great service and atmosphere, this is the place. The menu has many options, including vegetarian, vegan, good coffee and mimosas. The portions are a good size, so bring your appetite. The service is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall a great place.
I just took my family to OEB for a birthday, and it was amazing. Its difficult sometimes to find a nice spot to bring young children, but our server, Faith, did an amazing job making my 1 and 3-year-olds comfortable and happy. The kids especially loved their Belgian waffles. The rest of the family thought that their food was delicious and that the service was friendly and prompt. Its not the first time we have been here, and it wont be the last.
Phenomenal restaurant - from the staff, to the food, to quality of food, use of beef tallow, freshness.. everything about this place is great! I always leave feeling nourished and satisfied, not bloated/stuffed. Everything I had has been very tasty! Our server the last time was hilarious and fun. We will be back.. again, and again! Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu! It s $8 and a good serving size. Our kids loved it!
Nice place for breakfast gets packed fast come early. Loved their Benedict on a croissant. Portions are a little small for the price and it is very loud so a little hard to hear the person next to you talk.
The food is amazing but more than that, the service is truly exceptional! From our server, Ashley to the manager Michael, who checked in with us. everyone went above and beyond. No question that we ll be back!
My friends and I really enjoyed our breakfast this morning and our server Kayla was so sweet and helpful
Cannot fathom what all the hype is about this place. Brought my wife for breakfast. My eggs were over done and had zero taste. Meat in my scramble was overdone as well and the vegetables were underdone. Her eggs Benny eggs were undercooked to her ordering and was average at best. Service was meh and the hostesses weren t overly friendly Place looked nice but for 50$ was a complete rip.
Faith is a fantastic server. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable!! Food and atmosphere are great too! Shout out to Michael, the General Manager as well. He has established a high quality friendly place to enjoy a meal with friends.
Place? Well presented, clean Staff? Friendly, Ambiance? Nice music, diverse, FOOD? Average, nice presentation, portion is depressing . For the price you pay, we expect more. We go breakfast places all the time, but still nothing beats IHOP in New West or 6th St Grill in New West Overall: kinda sad actually. To each their own
My goodness what an awesome place to dine! My experience was made even better by my server Kayla, who was friendly and fun the entire time. She was hilarious and knowledgeable and took very good care of me and my wife. 10/10
Came in here with my grandkids. Our server Kayla was excellent. She was great with the kids, and was able to assist a few picky eaters in our group. Overall, great experience & wonderful server 10/10
Outstanding food and amazing customer service. Highly recommended
Solid brunch place. Have come here a couple of times now and havent been disappointed.

Josh was the best server ever!!! Super personable, loved being there, had the best time being served by him!! Can t wait to come back
Holy moly Josh s service was amazing! Edit: came back, Josh looks like he got a little bigger . Great service again ofc! Food
Had a really good time. Our server Josh was super helpful and made the experience better. Wish I could give more stars
Had a lovely time. Thank you to my server Josh, and the OEB team.
Josh s service was excellent!! I came with a large group of friends and we all left the meal discussing how great our server was. He held great conversation and made sure we were all well kept care of. Definitely coming back and asking to be seated in Josh s section from now on :)
I recently visited this location for breakfast and had Josh as our server! He recommended so many gluten free options and made sure all our needs were met. He is amazingg!
great food and great service! our server Kayla was so bubbly and kind. would definitely recommend!
Went in with my fiance and Kayla was our server, she was so nice and had the best recommendations. It was so good
I came into OEB for brunch with a friend and had a great time! The food was amazing and the service was even better. Our server Kayla made the morning memorable, and made some excellent food recommendations! Will be back!!
Went for brunch and our server Kayla was excellent. She was so polite and recommended some great dishes. Will definitely be back
Recently had brunch here with my girlfriend and it was such a great experience! Wouldn t have been possible without the help of our server Austin. He was super energetic and polite and very helpful providing recommendations as it was our first time here! Will be asking for him the next time we visit
Yummy surprise brunch with my hubby for Easter. Great food, great decor and great service by Austin, who was so attentive to my dietary restriction. We will be back and we will bring others!! Dietary restrictions: Nice to have some fun and fancy brunch options that don t have egg as a base ingredient
Loved our breakfast experience! Busy, fast paced but chill and casual vibe Our server Austin was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Food was delicious!! We will be back. Food : 5/5
So my girlfriend and I decided to try OEB for the first time cause we were looking for some brunch and had never been before and we can definitely say that we ll be back. Austin was our server and he was super helpful in letting us know what we would like from the menu, especially helping my girlfriend that s vegetarian pick something that won t have any meat in it but will still taste super delicious, and he did not disappoint. The food and drinks came out just as good as he was telling us and it came out on time which made our stay even better. Great service, unique menu and a spot that everyone should try!
Austin, Austin, Austin. This is the guy you should ask for. His exceptional charisma ushered me and my family one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. The food was delicious beyond words and we had laughs along the way which made our day thanks to Austin. Will definitely be returning.
What an incredible place to have breakfast! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was a delight. However, the highlight of the meal was the service by Austin. He took care of our every need from the start. He looked deep into our eyes and asked us what we were truly craving that morning. He recommended his favourites, and made sure our coffee stayed filled. He even held the door for my grandmother upon leaving, and caught me when I slipped! Ask for Austin when you go! You won t be disappointed.
Had a great experience at this establishment! Service was amazing, definitely ask for Austin when heading to this lovely restaurant! He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, he made the experience just that much better! Would definitely go back again for a great breakfast and the fantastic service!
Austin was an amazing server. 10/10 would recommend!
Austin ! What a delightful young man. So accommodating and efficient!
Always enjoy our OEB breakfast especially when Austin is our server! Always attentive, polite, and makes sure we have all we need. Also enjoy our conversations at every visit. Austin is a true asset to the restaurant!
Great food and cool atmosphere. Austin was a great server who was very attentive and enthusiastic! Earned a good tip
Give Austin a raise! Man surpassed expectations & provided great recommendations
Austin is my favourite person ever, he is so funny and helpful very good at his job very good with people 5 STARS FOR AUSTIN my favourite pal
breakfast just made my hungover morning but was not as good as my service! Austin went above and beyond to fulfill his duties! love that guy
Had a lovey dine in here. The food was fantastic! It was busy, which is always a good sign. And a huge shoutout to our server Austin for being super engaging, helpful, and quick on the draw for drink refills and suggestions!
Overall 10/10 experience. My boyfriend and I came here and honestly have gone back multiple times and have asked for the same server faith everytime because she recommends the best food and also gives us the absolute best service!! the food atmosphere and service by faith has been 10/10 everytime!
Ive visited this location a few times and it has always been great! A couple weeks ago I organized a breakfast for a group of 10. I had originally made a reservation for a smaller group online and called to see if I could increase the number. I had the pleasure of speaking with Michael, the GM, who was more than happy to accommodate a larger group. When we arrived we had a great table and our server was fantastic - friendly, helpful and didnt rush us. I also really appreciated that she reminded us twice that an autogratuity had been added to our bills due to our party size. My food was delicious, as always. It was a good size and nice and hot. My friends also enjoyed their food!
Great place and great service! Thank you Parking: Its at the mall there lots of parking
Overall, our experience was good, with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. Firstly, we felt uncomfortable when the waitress immediately suggested coffee with hard liquor upon being seated, especially since we had our minor with us. Additionally, we felt rushed to make decisions as we were asked about our drink order within 2 minutes of sitting down, barely having time to look at the menu. Furthermore, we were surprised by the waitress recommendation to add potatoes to our child s order. The portion of crepe was already large, making it challenging for a child to finish, and the potatoes were included in both our orders as well. This left us wondering about the necessity of adding extra sides when the main dish was already substantial.
The food was good but was quite expensive. It would be great if they had a vegetarian friendly hash brown option that wasnt pesto potatoes
My new favorite place for breakfast, I only wish I lived closer so I could come more often. Perfect eggs benedict and wonderful service. Thank you
Had brunch here with some friends couple days ago. The food was delicious and our server Kayla was as very friendly and attentive. For sure would come again!
Not too many options for dairy allergics like myself. Decent ambiance with a patio.
Coming from a hotel background as a supervisor, the staff and management are very good. After 4 quality checks in one sitting, it became a little much as it felt like the staff were rushing guests out to have faster turnover. The presentation of the plate and food was very good. It was great to sit at the bar, but I guess when you sit by the pass bar and kitchen, people are ready to ask. Thank you for a great meal.
The food was delicious! Great service and friendly staff. Cant wait to come back!!
This is the best breakfast/ brunch place. The food and service is always excellent. Have gone many times and have never been disappointed. Bring out of town guests and they always request OEB when they come back to visit.
The service and environment was good
Food s always as great as usual; that banana cream crepe was fantastic, same for my pulled pork over poutine but wife s Benedict was meh. But what we didn t appreciate was the server, at EVERY opportunity, upsell after each entree we ordered upselling my 7-yr daughter to a fries!?! That thing big enough to eat geez. Needless to say, tipped at the bare minimal instead of usual 15-20%, so nice try that backfired. Think about it; if we said no the first time, then she asked my wife after she said her order, I d recommend either fries or salad , and she said no, then by the time you get to me, how dare you ask again!?!? Hey I know you want a higher bill total to get more tips, but just use common sense. False Creek didn t do last time when we ate there. Other than that, it s a nice restaurant needed in Langley for the folks there, as well as another business option. P.s. and if that wasn t enough, get this: as soon as we sat down, before we even had a chance to look at the menu, she was upselling on that stupid liquoree coffee!!!! That it wasn t going around much longer, some monthly featured drink or whatever, couldn t remembered from this used car sales pitch or from her booming voice that other customers were watching and smirking evidently lol
Very good food.
I actually ordered on line and when Uber came they gave me someone elses order! I talked to 6 people on Uber chat and no one would help me. I did not qualify for a refund. Did not want a refund just wanted what I ordered! The food they delivered was not something I could eat! I could not belive they were unwilling to help me! Called OEB and spoke with Michael Moore the General Manager and he right away apologized and found a way to get me my order and make it up to me! Of course my food WAS great and it really hit the spot. On a 12 day work stretch and was really looking forward to my meal! THANKS OEB and HUGE THANK YOU TO MICHAEL!!!!
My favourite breakfast place in Langley.
Wow where to begin. The food here is always amazing and the service is top notch. Our sever Kayla, recommended the Cluck Norris sandwich and I am obsessed to say the least. She was amazing. Immediately brought us waters, was attentive when I had questions about the menu. Had in-depth knowledge of the menu, and was really careful finding me gluten free items. A sweet girl and a wonderful server overall!! Highly recommend this location.
What a great dining experience! The atmosphere, food and the service was amazing. When you go there, ask for Kayla and Georgia. They are beyond fantastic! They are fun, friendly and made my experience even better! Top notch service. They recommended the Notorious B.I.T. and it was delicious. Highly recommend this location! Will be back soon.
Had a delicious brunch! Kayla was our server and she was amazing :)
