Chinese seafood dishes & other classic fare including dim sum, served in a storefront dining room.
This was my first time trying this dim sum spot in Langley. The prices are comparable to other places we've been ($20-$25/ person), but the food quality is just okay. Our top picks were the shu mai, chicken feet, and rice rolls (we preferred the plain ones over the beef-filled). The service was efficient and friendly, likely due to the smaller size of the restaurant. Overall, I’d rate it a 7/10.
Came in for Lunch with a group of 10 of us on Sunday. Service was excellent and we basically ordered the Kitchen Sink for the table. Everything that we had was simply amazing, and all the Dim Sum was outstanding. The wrapped Sticky Rice was very good, and so was the Deep Fried Spicy Squid. If you're ever in the Langley area definitely don't hesitate to stop in for some amazing food. We had a reservation for 11am and I would highly recommend that everyone do the same, as the tables were all full while we were there for the two and a half hours that we were all there for. And plenty of people were waiting to be seated when we were leaving...
If you love prawns like me, I highly recommend their sautéed prawns. Not greasy at all unlike typical Chinese foods. Just perfect amount of reasonings for me. The seafood fried rice is also delicious!
This was a great experience for Dim Sum in the lower mainland. Unfortunately they do not offer a cart service which is what we were looking for but the small plates were great as well. The food was delicious and fresh - it came so quickly. It is on the pricier side but it's worth the price. For three of us it was about $90 but we did order quite a few things. We ordered lots of dumplings, some fried eggplant, bbq pork rolls, sesame balls with lotus root which were amazing! And egg tarts for an end of meal treat. I loved their pork and shrimp dumplings and pork soup dumplings. Can't wait to go back and try more of the options next time.
Expensive and portions were small. Fruit fries kept landing on our table. Unpleasant& unsanitary At 2:30 they turn off the hall music and servers disappeared even though you are just seated and ordered. If they are going to shut the restaurant down at 2:30pm, i don’t understand why they even seat us 2:15pm. Price was too expensive for the quality and quantity. One small pan fried rice roll dish( 8-10 pieces withe very little veggie ( 5? 10 bean spruces) no flavour) is $16 plus tax !
Our first time here because we’re in the area. The food was awesome and did not disappoint. We had Salted Fish Fried Rice, Chinese Broccoli, Chicken Wings and Deep Fried Squid. So yummy and their service was fast and all hospitable. They also gave free dessert and fortune cookies. Not only that they packed our leftovers unlike other Chinese restos were you had to pack on your own :) Now we have a Chinese go to in Langley :)
The Luxe is one of the only (if not the only) places to find authentic Cantonese style Chinese food. Prices are high but the food is absolutely worth it. Growing up with a Chinese mother I had the privilege to eat at some great Chinese restaurants in Richmond and Vancouver and the Luxe is the only place in the area that compares to those restaurants.
July 2024 update Came in on a Thursday and ordered a noodle dish. It took over 25 minutes with no food yet everyone else in the restaurant is getting food. The restaurant is less than half full. I'm told they only have one chef. If that's the case I would avoid the restaurant Monday to Friday. The dishes have also gone up with most dishes over $10 and $1.50 for tea service. The only good point about this visit was that the food was still tasty. ----------- Nice authentic Chinese restaurant in Langley. Not many places have good dim sum any more. If you are looking for the rice noodle with prawn, come on the weekend. They don't serve that during the weekdays. Tea service is $1/person which is pretty standard. Cheapest dishes are $8-9 dollars. Menu is available via a QR code
Great food. Lots of options to choose from. The diimsum are fantastic
We ordered takeout for Sunday dinner, and every dish was delicious! The flavors were well-balanced, but the portion seemed not enough for the price. While it was a bit on the pricier side, the quality of the food made it worth it.
Best dim sum
We go here for family celebrations. The food is so delicious and we always enjoy our time here.
This place used to be amazing and affordable. Now they charge $26 for a plate. Nobody can afford this, you re better off to go anywhere else for the same quality of food at affordable prices. Food : 5/5
Its as good as they say it is. Make sure to try the Phoenix Claws for Dim Sum!
Its good to be here..dimsums are great..yum!
Legitimately the worst Chinese food we ve had, overpriced and it was certainly not fresh. Eg. The deep fried items were probably from from a day or 2 before because you could tell they had been deep fried more than once. The meat inside was so hard my wife almost broke a tooth biting into it. We called many times the same night to provide feedback and return the food that we didn t end up eating, (would ve loved to see them bite into with a straight face). Anyway they didn t pick up the phone and this was 20 minutes before closing time. Will not be back.
Not bad for the morning dim sum , dinner was not worth to try.
Good food! Very nice staff!
Other than the women that has one streak redish shoulder length hair, spill our coke that also poured into our hot sauce, did not apologize. We had asked for a new hot sauce instead came back with our next dish awhile later, we had then asked her again for new hot sauce, she squinted her eyes, made a ugly face and kept it on and threw our vegetable dish on the table. Extremely disrespectful, as we were a table of two and our bill was over $200. As the bill came, we were making our payment on card and we planned to tip cash. Once the payment on card went through, the women that was cashing us out said no tip?! She repeated herself three times that we did not tip, which we had cash tip for them. Tip was definitely not deserved for the incident that had happen as well as the women expecting us to tip. Other servers were great, nice, welcoming, and the food was good!
Birthday lunch,authentic Chinese food.
Food was good, bettwr then most places. However I called to ask if I could make a substitution on the dinner for 4 meal. No substitutions. So I ordered 4 dishes. Total was $150 (with door dash). Fed 5 of us with a very small amount of left overs. I was expecting for nearly $30 a dish they would have been larger portions then a regular place. Disappointing. Would be nice to make a substitution for one dish....one beef dish for another beef dish. Charge a small fee even. I guess we may try the combination dinner next time for a much less cost and see what its like.
There is one waiters attitude is very bad and I will never come again if she s still here
We have dined at this restaurant for a while now with no issue until today. The waitress serving us was rudely asking for 10% tips even thought we did give her tips already. Tip should be optional and not mandatory. Will never dine here again with this kind of attitude.
meal was ok then the server had the gaul to suggest what tip i should pay. this will always result in a poor review. tips are extra and based on whatever the CUSTOMER wants to give.
Been here twice, good food (dim sum). Though if they offer ya tea, you could decline it, if ya dont, you do get charged a buck per person consuming the tea
Food was delicious. Ambience a bit.. weird. But not in a bad or good way. Just different. SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE! Great people there that serve your food that make this 5* for me. Food
Incredibly overpriced for subpar food. Chicken was so tough we couldn t eat it. Better options in the area
Delicious food & very friendly staff!!
Awesome Dim Sum.
Luxe has a great dim sum, always tasty!
Tasty dim sum. Prices are pretty standard and the portions are pretty good. Hard to find a dim sum restaurant that serves the deep fried taro dish and silver fish. One thing to note is to make sure the prices on the receipt matches what it says on the menu. There were some inconsistencies when it came time to pay.
To all citizens of Canada and tourists, I recommend you this beloved restaurant. There is no other restaurant with this type of quality. I can assure you this restaurant is the best dimsum house in British Columbia. They also helped me with my Uber order for utensils and hot sauce! Really grateful, thank you Luxe Chinese Seafood Restaurant!
Overall a good experience.
Great Cantonese favourites
Best Dim Sum in Langley.
Gross expensive and small portions.
AVOID this restaurant: 1. Overpriced - $9.95 for steamed prawn dumplings + $1.5/person tea + 18% tips (+GST) 2. Poor services - the appears-to-be restaurant manager showed an unpleasant face when asking him to take group photos; restaurant staff took away the unfinished bowls
Great food!
Never visit this again! food ok, but services quality not up to standard. go other restaurants instead.
Honestly, horrible customer service Mediocre at best food. We were ignored for 25 mins while everyone else was getting served. I kindly asked for service and we got asked What?
Went here for a lunch with my company and it was some of the best Chinese food Ive had in a long time
Very expensive but worth it. The food taste really good and authentic, and not overly greasy.
This is the second best restaurant Ive been to recently, but the food and service are still really good and comparable in pricing to similar restaurants in this class. Its not a place I would go to regularly, but I would from time to time when I want good dim sum and want to treat myself. Highly recommend making a reservation, or else you end up sitting in the weird non-reservation area that is a separated part of the restaurant ????
Tasty Canadian Chinese food.
The taste of this morning tea is really average
They no longer have Dim Sum Carts..
Dim sum on Mondays for lunch is great. Regular dishes are great anytime!
Update 5/2024: We, a usual group of 3 to 6, just went here for our very last time. I was asked to write this review on behalf of the other family members. We have always made reservations, about a month ahead of time. No worries there, our table has always been ready. The food is still good but our problem is the service is now less than stellar. Having to repeatedly ask for ice water and soya sauce IS ANNOYING. (I think they also now charge for tea you never asked for in the first place). Staff looks at you in a huff and pretty much ignores you the first few times you ask. If and when you do get water and soya you are basically done your meal. We are so done with Luxe, give this place a pass. Go to Indian Affair next door and be treated better - all around.
Most excellent, period.
The 6 inches we ordered are pretty good not quite a five star but just touched a 4 star in my books
Food is good but serving sizes has decreased. An order of har gow and shu mai consists of three pieces (used to be 4 pieces). Lo Mai Gai appears to have been cut in half and rewrapped.
We still go here out of loyalty but its no longer affordable Chinese food. The staff are great and the dine in experience is good. For take out I would shop around since 4 dishes shouldnt cost over $100.
Ooookkkay dimsum
Food was tasty
Food was good, but I m giving one star because they charged us for tea we didn t ask for. They brought out a pot of tea and charged $1.50 per person. If I came alone, would I still pay $1.50 for a pot? Is this like a cover charge for a seat? Next time I ll just order four waters, since the teacups are already on the table when you arrive. There s no sign saying they charge for tea, but they just bring it out automatically. Heads up, check if they ask you what you want to drink. Management claimed they always charge for tea because other places do. I ve been around for 40 years and never had tea brought out without asking, then charged for it. The server didn t even ask what we wanted to drink. This feels like a clear money grab. If 100 customers come in a day, that s $4500 a month just from tea. Brilliant scheme, but bad business practice. At least ask what we want to drink first offer a choice of water or tea. I still tipped over $14 on a $95 bill because it s the right thing to do, even though the server never checked on us. I ll remove this review if management responds. Doing the right thing is never wrong. I had to write this. By the way, I don t have money problems, but what s wrong is wrong. You shouldn t charge for tea without asking. Easy solution: train staff to ask if the table wants tea. Some people don t even drink tea but were charged $1.50 each. Either charge per pot or just don t charge for tea at all.
Have been there for the first time and surprised that its good! Even much better than many so-called Chinese restaurant in surrey.
Long wait, but the food is worth it. I miss the carts.
Dim sum was excellent, good friendly service. What else do you need.
Extremely disappointed in the quality, service, prices and portion sizes. Restaurant was more than half empty during dinner. Your $300 will take you much further elsewhere. If you want more pineapple than pork in your sweet and sour pork and soggy chow mein noodles, this is your place. We sent the chow mein back and all they did was try to recook it and put it in another dish. What a joke. Sent it back again and told them to remove it off the bill for poor care and quality. The waitress spilled a sauce all over the table, and almost spilled a glass of water by leaning over the table until we stopped her. The manager told another customer that if they dont like the food, dont order it again.
This place has gone downhill from when I last came with friends. Took my parents to Luxe for Mothers Day dim sum. Personally, I didnt care that the tea had no tea taste but my parents said it was super watered down. It was basically tea colored hot water. The place knows the local demographic is mostly non-Asian and probably wont notice. The dumpling casings/skin tasted like store-bought dumplings where the skin would be mushy after defrosting/over-steaming. Might be a bit of an understatement as I think Ive had better shrimp dumplings from T&T even. Although it was Mothers day, the service was abnormally slow. Took about 25-30 minutes for the first item to come. Ive been here on a Sunday in the past and it looked like normal Sunday traffic so not sure what happened. In addition, one of the items never came. My sister and her boyfriend paid for the meal so we didnt get a chance to review the bill so we all just forgot about it. These days, it isnt cheap eating out so paying for something we never got definitely hurts. Most likely wont be coming back in the future.
Food is good. Service was okay. Pricey on some items reasonable in other menus. Overall its a good place to eat. Food
Delicious option for dim sum in Langley. Can get busy but this restaurant can accommodate quite a few tables.
Best Chinese food so far in Langley.
$22 for vegetable chow mein. TWENTY TWO DOLLARS, when everywhere else in town is $10-12. Insane. Went in for take out - just the chow mien and won tons and it took far too long. The veg in the chow mien are HUGE and need to be cut up to eat. Overall not impressed.
I have to say today was a disappointing dining experience. There were 5 of us, tried the crab meat fish belly soup, two sea food base dishes, one meat appetizer, and the spicy beef with vermicelli. The appetizer was ok, not fantastic but at least the presentation was standard. The crab soup tho, appearance was honestly unappealing. It was white with white pits, and plus the red vinegar made the soup look pink. Tasted nothing like seafood, no other veg, just the white bits which i wishfully assumed they were crab meat, there is maybe some egg white - and completely bland and unseasoned. I honestly thought the chef had forgotten to salt it or add any seasoning. ( we are average Asians with taste bud on a lightly salted basis, so when I said it is unseasoned, it has almost no taste.) the soup was the most shocker of all, the rest of the dishes are standard, the spicy beef with vermicelli was the best of all. In the meantime, I ve asked water for my kids, 3 times, in the end I went to the counter to get it, one lady who delivers the food actually told me don t order water from me I m way too busy, she literally dropped the food and ran away while we tried to speak to her. Really?!? While I understand the chaos of a busy restaurant, I felt the service does not reflect the 15% standard charge at all. It was a disappointing experience and not worthy of a 260 dollar meal. Please improve your service immediately. Ps. Dim sum at lunch was 200% better than the a la carte dinner menu.
It is not a popular Chinese dish, but rather local Chinese food, and is often visited by many foreigners.
The staff over there is so rude especially (man)
Food and service was great. We were seated near the door, during a cold day. Got a rush of cold air ever time a customer opened the door. Would suggest asking for a table away from the door. Food tasted great. Staff were attentive.
Average food but above average price. And terrible service! It s first I have told to leave after having seat for about an hour and so.
Ordered dim sum congee and rice noodles
Best Dim Sum in the Fraser Valley or anywhere east of Richmond and Vancouver.
Best dim sum ever! Make a reservation in you dont want to wait. Great bustling dim sum ambience
This is the best Cantonese Chinese food restaurant in Langley. There are about 20 tables different sizes for different gathering events. The food is delicious and setting is good. It is better that you should come with your family or your friends here together and order different plates to share them because of large portion sizes.
Great place for dimsum in Langley
Pretty good but slightly pricer than some other dim sum Ive been to, but overall was delicious
Good experience food was very tasty.
My favourite dim sum place! Worth the drive, -from chilliwack bc Food
Excellent food and service! Had dim sum recently with my son and his girlfriend and every dish was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Definitely! One of our party member at the table is a vegan, but many options available at the restaurant. Dietary restrictions: Vegan Parking: Lots of free parking. Its a big lot. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids in attendance and welcomed!
Great traditional Chinese dishes! Check it out, you won t be disappointed.
Really enjoyed the dim sum! My friend loves this place so I finally gave it a try and was very impressed with the selection and pricing. Everything I tried was delicious, but their buns are a must try! Cant wait to come back and try more of their dishes.
the store confirmed my order on doordash despite their item was out of stock. waited 1 hour for nothing.
Very authentic Cantonese restaurant
The food is quite delicious. Is the service industry good? Except its a little pricey. Nothing wrong with that.
The food here is average but over priced, you re paying almost double what you pay elsewhere and the portions are small on some dishes. The serving plates are the size of my hand, I had to ask for bigger plates and when I did, the waitress hesitated with a aaah .ok . When they brought them to me, they were soaked as if they had just pulled them out of a sink and didn t bother to dry them.
Greta food
Most of the food was tasty although don t get the fried wontons cause it s literally just a wonton wrapper fried . I don t know if that s traditionally how it s supposed to be bad I won t be having that again. The staff were very pleasant.
Service was good, busy place. Food was ok, not bad for local.
The waiters character and service were extremely poor. During the epidemic, three people (including the elderly) once went to eat at noon and waited for nearly 30 minutes. When they arrived, they had to scan the QR code. We all showed the 2-shot vaccine paper card because one person did not bring the health card number. On the spot, we were finally refused entry to dine
I ve been going here for over 10 years and notice a significant decrease in food quality and customer service since the change in ownership. I usually just ignore it because my mom knew the previous owner and is a loyal customer. But today was the last straw, I m driving her to Richmond the next time she wants Chinese food. I paid $200 for a $184 meal because the service was bad. The waitress then ask me to tip a bit more to make it a 10% tip (which is $2 more). She said usually people tipped 15% but since it s me, she ll let me get away with it. That definitely ruin the meal I just had with friends I haven t seen in awhile. I presume they re going under if they have their staff asking for more tips so I gave them another $10.
One the better places to have authentic Chinese food in the Fraser Valley and this is right in the heart of Langley! However their prices used to be reasonable $15-19 but now it s just astronomical post Covid and simply unaffordable anymore!
Friendly service and good food
Been going here for years , never disappointed .
Best dim sam restaurant in Langley
Came here with my 2 kids and family on a Saturday at about 1. They were able to cater to the kids. It was busy as always, but no wait at the door. Service was good and food was standard dim sum fare. Will come back again.
Good dim sum
Ordered the sweet and sour chicken. Disgusting. Old meat neatly dressed in sweet and sour sauce but the old breath of the chicken couldn t be concealed. Never again. I told the server, she said she s going to bring the manager. Nobody came. I said I just want to eat something (anything) that s fresh.
Ordered takeout and found the portions quite small especially the sweet and sour pork, all pineapple a little pricey as well!
HORRIBLE customer service. Staff was rude and spilled tea on me Food isn t worth the price. I ordered general Taos chicken $21 worth and all I got was 90% veggies and 10% chicken. Tipping was forced onto you. I couldn t believe it.
Closest dim sum to me. Its OK service leaves a little to be desired
Great food, fast service. Would recommend the flat noodles with beef. Bathrooms were a little dirty
Awesome place for dim sum everything is so fresh and fast service
Taro (forgot the name of the dish) is delicious! The glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaves is also very good, the chicken feet are good, the custard buns are okay, and the others are average. The egg tarts are okay, KFC is better, but the green tea jelly is not so good, I don t recommend ordering it. Overall its very ordinary, but business is very good
Excellent food, very attentive staff and overall wonderful!!
Great food, very busy, should always book ahead lol wish there was more room but great place overall
Very expensive lunch but totally worth it dim sum! The best in all surrounding areas. Food
Fairly legit dimsum in the township of Langley. They have been opened for a while and honestly initially when they opened a decade ago I thought they won t last but they made it to today and still stand strong this speaks about their food quality. It s nice to have at standard dimsum without travelling too far. Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from.
The food was really good, and service was wonderful! We will be going back again!
We had a very nice Sunday Dim Sum at Luxe. The pandemic has not been kind to dining experiences like Dim Sum, where part of the pleasure has always been picking dishes from push carts as they circle the restaurant. Luxe has no push carts, and you order dishes from their online menu. The world changes and we change with it. As we arrived, we were seated with almost no delay. Tea was promptly placed on the table for us and then the waitstaff moved on. The time for the waitstaff to return for our order was a bit too long; but once our order was placed the food began to arrive promptly. Filling of the teapot and removal of empty dishes was also well coordinated. We went to the service counter/bar to pay our bill as that seemed quicker. It was busy and full in the restaurant. The restaurant is not large and they do seem to have put in as many tables as they can. It can feel a little claustrophobic; but that is also part of the Dim Sum experience. We did remark on how clean and well kept this restaurant is and that is appreciated. Small tables for two are cafe sized and do not lend themselves to accommodating various Dim Sum dishes at the same time. Large tables seemed fine. The food is varied, with most dishes being typical of standard Dim Sum fare. We did order a chicken fried rice that came with large chunks of unseasoned chicken. This seemed inconsistent with the other dishes we tasted, as the chicken was in larger than bite sized chunks and the bland taste impacted the whole dish negatively. The other dishes were tasty, well cooked, and typically portioned for Dim Sum. I think Luxe is a great choice for Dim Sum in Langley. Our experience was positive and this is a restaurant that is obviously taking all the needed steps to ensure a repeat clientele that is loyal. I believe it is well worth your time and patronage.
Good place
I appreciate this restaurant for bringing good dim sum experience in Langley! I wish i could have the rice rolls on the weekdays as well. Food and their teas are great. Good atmosphere as well. Food : 5/5 |
Unfortunately we will not be coming back. We were super excited for dim sun only for it to be completely over priced and tasted off and have almost non existance service. Food would be dropped off as walking by and kept walking so we have no idea which item was just dropped off. The waiter rushed our order, taking it before we could even sit down. No drink orders were taken, we had to ask 3 times for food we were waiting on. Now that we received our daughters wonton soup 45 min later she begins to eat it only to see its Shrimp disquised as wontons... the menu does not say shrimp wonton. We sat at our table with our elbows on the tables, napkins on plates while they all looked at us, waiting for our bill that we have asked for 3 times now, STILL walking passed us. No one asked how the food tasted. They do not interact with the customers at all and make you feel very unwelcome, as if we were out of place. Every other table was of importance - must have been my messy bun and sweatpants! Ps you missed out on a killer tip! As a former server, ALWAYS appreciate and interact with every table you get.
Service could be better but food and presentaion was great.
The tasteless food is the injury, the fact that they will charge you $1 per person for the cold tea left on the table before you even sat down, which they will not tell you in advance is the insult added.
Great food. Lousy service. Really enjoyed the Dim Sum. Unfortunately, it took almost 20 minutes of waiting at the table before we managed to flag down someone to take our order.
Very authentic Chinese Dim Sum. Tastes awesome.
We have been enjoying dim sum at Luxe since the day they opened. Always great service and food. Keep it up. Thanks!
This is my new favorite place to go for dim sum, I mean, the food is fresh and tasted delicious.
Good overall, some dishes came out cold.
Luxe is a Cantonese Chinese food restaurant in Langley right across from the big shopping center. Parking here is easy as its in a little strip mall. Inside its got a few dozen tables, including a back area that can be for private events. The staff here are very friendly, extremely attentive and quick with service, including the food itself. The food is delicious, made to order with large portion sizes for a good price, so well worth the money. Its best to order different plates and share jere as there is enough for everyone. Would definitely say this is the best Chinese food in the Langley area
Come here once again! Great dimsum good atmosphere, great service, love the long line up. Where else in Langley? Come here once again! Great all round. Food
Terrible quality and overpriced I just ordered take out . The lemon chicken was rubber . The ginger beef was soggy and not crispy . The broccoli was over cooked . As well as the beef . Would not order again from here . Questioning all these good reviews . Honestly the Chinese food at mall is better .
Great place service was awesome and funny
We eat here regularly, like the food, friendly staff, decent prices.
Best dim sum in the Fraser Valley but I miss the food selection being wheeled around on carts. Parking: Parking spots are very small. Large vehicles will totally fill spots from side to side.
Its always great food here!
Great dim sum. Service is good. The space is crammed. They basically dont provide menus, you have to scan the QR code to access the online menu. Go on a weekday to avoid the crowds.
Good dim sum and friendly service. Togo place in Langley for Chinese food!!
My nephew and his family wanted to get together for lunch. We decided on going out for dim sum since we havent seen each other for a while. We decided on Luxe because weve been there before. We were lucky when we got there, there was no line-up. Which was great for a Sunday morning. We were seated right away. Take your cell phone because you have to QR code the menu. The service was quite good for dim sum because it started to get busy. We ordered the typical Har Gow and Sui mi, bbq pork buns, sticky rice wrap, and deep-fried beef dumplings. The food was very good. Its hard to find a good Chinese restaurant in South Surrey, White Rock, and Langley. Most people I know drive into Richmond. Luxe Chinese Restaurant definitely matches the good food served in Richmond.
Party of 5 @ 6pm for dinner. Service was slow, the food came out haphazardly, main course, another main course, one app, another main. Still no drinks and getting a refill of Jasmine tea hectic. Another app and they forgot one of the orders completely, and this was another 10 mins. Ironically, other folks arrived after us that got food before us, but then again we didnt order Lobster, guess it cooks faster The food was okay and expensive. I say get takeout if you really want Chinese food.
Best dim sum in the area, little on the pricey side, maybe because of COVID-19. All in all good place to go
Great dim sum, quick service and not bad prices.
Tasty dim sum but pricey!
Amazing food! Highly recommend. A friend and I tried out this place a while ago and I ve been raving about it since. Service was a little slow, granted they had a party to cater to as well. Food
Great dim sum
We had very yummy. Got a refill of water as soon as I put down the teapot as if the lady at the cashiers read minds.
We had a take out order and spent $187.00 and the food was not good at all curry rice dried out, chicken balls and deep fried shrimp way way too much breading it was more than the tough chicken inside, vegetable dish had way too much garlic, Shanghai noodles were good and so were the chicken wings. Won-ton soup was so so. It was definitely not worth the $187.00 we paid very disappointed and was trying to impress my friends from out of town which did not work
Food was delicious, good service
Very poor food quality. Took a while to get served.
I ordered two dishes: General Tso beef and dry-fried green beans! Im so disappointed. It tastes bad! Such a meal even do not want to eat, the beef wrapped in a very thick batter, very sweet, in addition to sweet is greasy, dry fried green beans have no taste, neither spicy and tasteless, it can not swallow, do not know is the change of the chef or what reason, it is not delicious! This kind of food makes foreigners feel that this is Chinese food, expensive and bad taste... disappointment
This is one of few Chinese restaurants offering dim sum at night in Surrey - Langley area. I believe they serve dim sum all day. Food tastes good and prices are reasonable.
It was all good Except the noise when picking up the slab from the tables and cleaning and assembling Lots of noises
Came to try dimsum after reading reviews that this was one of the better dimsum restaurants in Langley. It is pretty good. Tried a variety of the dishes and they all tasted fresh / authentic. Prices are a little bit high but not unreasonably so. Definitely worth coming to again.
Great quality
It s the best Chinese food this side of the bridges
Nice dimsum joint for the willowbrook area. I find they are on the higher price of things but the quality was good and we had no complaints with service and seating. I d encourage you to make a reservation because it can get quite busy. They don t have cart service but servers will come out to offer some items. They have an online menu with pictures so if you are nervous to order then it is the perfect menu to point and choose! They also charge for tea per head.
Enjoyed the chinese broccoli with garlic
All their dishes were fantastic, including the peaking duck. Wonderful and attentive service, gave us desert on the house. Glad that there is an actual authentic Chinese restaurant in Langley. Parking: Its just mall parking
Best dim sum in the area so far. Fresh and delicious flavors.
First time dine in after Covid, the food still taste good especially spring roll and deep fried wonton. We ate at dinner time so no chance to eat dim sum. However, the fried noodle was a bit salty and tough.
Always good dim sum
Way over priced and not very good. Did take out and the food was cold and we didnt even get our whole order. Not happy and wont be a returning customer.
Ok food, found it to be pretty bland. Definitely not worth the price compared to other places.
The parking was plentiful although not enough handicap spaces . Facility was clean and atmosphere good. Prices are so much better than Vancouver so it was actually worth the trip. Food was tasty , presentation was good and the staff friendly.
We come here once a week and will continue to do so! Amazing dim sum!
Extremely poor service, the food is all frozen overnight.
Got charged for tea which we never got or ordered. (got hot water instead) So we asked our server about it and she said they also charge for hot water.
The best
Ordered sweet/sour pork, wonton soup, and fried dumplings. Food was very good! The service crew were very kind and welcoming! I really appreciate kindness anywhere! Love coming here!
I ve eaten dim sum here a few times and twice I ordered shrimp spring roll and the shrimp smelled bad and sour. We quickly complained about it and they didn t even question me. They simply took the dish away and threw it away. Price is really expensive for dim sum but that goes with all the restaurant that serves dim sum.
Amazing & delicious food. Our go to Chinese restaurant in langley.
Great dim sum
Very quick and efficient service. Food was great. Best dim sum in Langley! Thanks!
Not even average in Greater Vancouver but OK enough for Langley
Best dim sum around this area. The food is always hot and delicious! Parking: Good sized parking lot on both sides of the restaurant Recommended dishes Egg Tart, Deep Fried Spicy Squid
Hands down the best Chinese food I ve had! Really nice friendly staff, price was on point, this will be a regular stop for our family!
The service was really good. The staff are very pleasant. Food was served hot and was very good. If your looking for authentic Chinese food in Langley this is the place to go
Eaten here for many years.Excellent food. But today had pepper salt squid and special chow main. The squid in the chow main and the pepper salt squid were like trying to eat a gumboot. When pointed out to server he said I will take of it. When I went to pay bill he said I will give 10% discount on the 22.00 squid .So explained not happy and skipped paying tip and then waiter said well you should still leave tip and I told him to collect it from cook who cannot cook squid.I did feel bad but John has to pull up his socks. Not a happy customer.
Special to the person who on cashier not very honesty lady often men sometimes, Try to cheat on 10% off for pickup, And also dont want to returned our changes back from 1 dollars to two dollars back to us....lol It happens so many times,
Arguably the best place for Dim Sum in Langley. The staff are friendly, and speak English, Mandarin, and typically Cantonese. The Dim Sum hours can bit a bit raucous, and when busy, it can hard to get the attention of a server. Thankfully, theyre usually very well staffed, and you can always flag someone down, even if its not your original server, and theyre happy to help. The food is delicious, and service is quick. The tea is worth mentioning, as this is Dim Sum. The selection is large, but you should know what youre looking for. In all, its a great place for a Traditional meal for both large groups and smaller gatherings.
Service no longer seems to come around in a push cart. Thats a bummer buts its still good and always hits the right spot. Love my weekend dim sum here. Come and try it you wont be disappointed.
Good menu for dimsum as well as dinner. Quality dishes, quick service, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Very busy all the time which speaks to its popularity.
