Very tasty and very good service!

Okay I never leave reviews and I m only 18 and couldn t care to leave one but this restaurant has one of the best Indian foods I ve ever eaten Coming from a white girl I got the butter chicken with no spice and the garlic naan and everytime it does not dissapoint it s so creamy and good I love it so much

Amy was our server, she was awesome, very friendly and kind. Great food, great atmosphere, great company. Everything we had was delicious.

We ordered Indo Chinese cuisine and it tasted worst. We complained, they apologised but we paid complete bill, though we left half of the meal . Service and hospitality was not upto the mark. The place is not at all customer centric. I will never recommend anyone going to this place.

Hi ..M Ruby Last month I came from Toronto to Surrey to meet my friend.. and we made plan to go somewhere Someone suggested us this restaurant The food was tooo delicious I have been in Canada from last 3 years and never tasted food like thiss The stafff members also treated us in well mannered way.. It was a good time at ashoka Indian cuisine..In future.. If i ever come to surrrey again i will definitely choose your restaurant for delicious food.

I visited this restaurant last day and I had dinner at this place. The food was amazing and delicious like I had a feeling i am having this food in my home country and the service was outstanding as staff treat us with a happy face. I would highly recommend this place if you wanna have tastes like homemade food. I will definitely gonna visit this place again.

We had a great dine in experience today at Ashoka Indian Cuisine, the quality and quantity was very good, chef named Karan made the food perfectly with Punjabi style, the service was also up to the mark. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Shahi paneer

This place used to be one the best places in Langley for Indian food, but new ownership and food has gone downhill. No Indian balance of flavors, Food was cold. Raita sweet (added sugar) WHY!? Achaar was dry. Just overall disappointment

Ordered samosas for pickup, with a clear instructions for sides and cutlery. First they forgot to add cutlery and my partner had go back and pick it up. Later, while having the food, they forgot to add the main dip that samosa s come with, sauce!! I dont want to be mean or rude however, restaurants service matters alot since its just a food that you serve but sometimes its an emotion for the other person. I hope you guys will brought this to your attention for next time!

i ordered a paneer kulcha, they served me an aloo kulcha. i called the waitress and asked her which kulcha it was and she said aloo. i told her we ordered paneer and she said she didn t hear even though she confirmed with us when ordering that it was paneer. so when we told her it s not what we ordered she said she didn t hear and said simply sorry and left. she didn t even offer to replace it and give us the correct thing we ordered. that s the least the waitress could have done instead she went to back and didn t really care to fix her mistake. never coming back, paid for a meal that we didn t want. and ruined the whole dinner.

The take out portions have gotten smaller and smaller the last few times. Especially , considering how much you are paying for the dishes. Dont eat here often as its not worth the money. The food is good and flavorful just not affordable

Not often you come into an Indian restaurant and you hear a kid whos under 10 exclaim, This is my new favourite Indian place! The child did not belong to me - but sums up how I felt too. (Also now wondering what his previous fav is) Had a delicious lunchtime thali asked for spice level hot - perfect - butter chicken, channa masala, rice, naan, yogurt sauce, salad and a gulab jamun. No photo. Sorry not sorry. It was tasty and disappeared. Also had a mango lassi. I know of it, but never ordered one before. Would return and recommend. Vegetarian options: Many dishes are vegetarian and delicious.

I went for the first time with my friends. The ambiance was good. We liked the way it is decorated. However, we were disappointed with the organization of the tables. Too congested and tight to keep the stuff on the table for four people. Hakka noodles were too much salty, we were not able to eat them at all. The plates were desert plates, We even asked to change the plates, were again given small ones. I mean is it possible to eat full-fledged dinner on a small plate? Not my wish list to go and dine again.

Loved chicken seekh kabab-hot and aachari chicken curry-hot. Very Unix taste of curry dil khush ho gaya.for kids I ordered fish pakora and they enjoyed every bite.

Great food and okay prices

Food : still better than other restaurants but missing lots of things. Ordered amritsari kulcha. It said special amritsari kulcha on board Missed crispy crust, no coating on top and stuffing was missing in most parts of kulcha. I will say some one tried to follow the recepie, but was not experienced. Channa / chole were good and seemed fresh. Service was nice.

This by far is the best Indian cuisine restaurant in BC . The quality of food , the personable, experience is astounding. I walk into this restaurant and am felt welcomed, loved and taken care of . If you dont eat here you are missing out ! 5 stars all the way

I ordered Matar paneer lunch special combo, They only give half naan (2 small pieces). Not worth it spending $17 for 2 small pieces. I even did not take rice.

I had a take out special lunch it s included lamb roganjosh, tandoori naan or roti, plain rice and salad. If you need you can have half of tandoori naan and get vegetable pakora there is an option available. The waitress Miss sapneeth was provide excellent service and explained about the different lunch specials. The food was excellent. The lamb cooked very well and I ordered mild and it was up to my palate.

Wow! My first meal from Ashoka in a while and, wow, so good! Might have been a smidge over medium spice, but I love it. Tender lamb, tasty korma, muttar paneer with young, tender peas (which is a pet peeve of mine; those tough, old cow peas!) Ashoka re-takes #1 spot in Langley!

Just went there today with family, everything from food to service was amazing. For food the taste, quality and quantity was to the point and the service was also very warm and welcoming. Must try. Hidden gem.

By far the best Indian food! My family and I dined at Ashoka on mothers day and they were able to accommodate all 14 of us! Their level of service was beyond words and the food is much better than other places with fancier ambiance. Portions are huge and we were all blown away with taste. My new favourite indian restaurant.

Amazing service, amazing people amazing food and very good portion sizes! The staff there are so nice and respectful and will always have my business. We order from them (take out) very regularly almost every week and for the first time my family and I dined in on mothers day it and was such a nice experience with excellent service! Ordered butter chicken, rice and chicken pakoras. Rice was cooked very well and had a great flavour. The pakoras were similarly very good. The butter chicken however was sub-par to my usual order from Indian Affair. The butter chicken curry was runny, as though there was no cream used when it was made. The flavour was also watered down vs what I would have traditionally expected. A shame Since the other dishes were so good.

Great food with a lot of options. The staff is very customer centric. We go there as they are very accommodating in making sure food my kid is prepared duly considering their food allergy. The Thali option is very nice letting you savour multiple items without worrying about over ordering. Also, their Paneer Tikka is amazing.

The food here is so delicious and has big portions.The servers are very friendly and they helped us take some pictures of our party as we were celebrating my husbands birthday. We also had a room for us to have our party there. Malai chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka, cauliflower with sweet chili sauce and mix vegetables were my favorite. Definitely go and try if you are in neighborhood!

I ordered the soya malia shamp. It is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. Service is also very fast and staff is friendly too.

Good food. Great service. Portions were generous. One curry could easily feed 2 people. Their fish pakora was well-seasoned and well cooked. They turned the ac on halfway through dinner...it was blowing so hard the silk plants hanging from the ceiling were swinging in the breeze and we had to leave early as it got so cold.

We were craving Indian food and have not had it in a while, and we had stumbled upon this place and thought we would give it a try. The staff were all very friendly to us, unfortuntely the food was just dissapointing. Lacking flavour and spices. We asked for medium spice and got extra mild. I honestly make a better curry dish then this at home. We will have to try another Indian restaurant there, as there are lots in the area.

I got a bunch of different stuff and everything was delicious! Pakora, chai, lamb curry, butter chicken, naan, raita, and ras malai. Prices are reasonable and so are the portions. This place is now one of my favourites in Langley.

Food is so flavourful and fresh every time we visit this place. They pay attention to the requests made beforehand and the outcome is way too good . Must visit this cute little gem in Langley.

The ladies at the front are always friendly and conversational in person and on the phone. I wanted to add some peas(muttar) to my methi malai paneer, and it was accommodated happily with no problem or extra charge. It was absolutely delicious, of course. (I highly recommend it if youre looking to try something new. Not spicy per se, but very, very flavorful.) I love the food here.

This restaurant deserves more than 5/5 stars. We recently had our kid s birthday party and had got catering done from them. The food was sooo soo delicious that each and every person in the party inquired where it was from. Also the quantity of food was very very generous. I really can t thank enough the owners as at last minute I forgot some cutlery and the restaurant was quick enough to get that too. Their food made my party a huge hit. Truly truly recommend this restaurant, they just go above and beyond for the customers.

Small cozy restaurant. Very nice service, the butter chicken was so good ! There was lots of chicken, not the two pieces I get at other places. My gf was happy there were lots of vegetarian dishes, though the crunchy vegetable samosas were her absolute favorite. Our favorite place for Indian cuisine, we will definitely be going back. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, the vegetable pakora was DELISH !

We stopped by here for lunch, great atmosphere. Very friendly staff and were super accommodating as we needed to plug in our laptops and shift tables midway thru our order. We ordered the Kadahi Lamb & Curry Chicken and both dishes were amazing, the naans were perfectly cooked. The Indian tea was and dessert hit the spot. Definitely a gem in the heart of Langley.

Food was OK. When the bill came, some of the items were charged at double the price shown on the menu. The error was initially denied but was finally fixed after I laid my bill down beside the menu for comparative purposes. I believe this was an intentional scam to extract more of my hard-earned money from my wallet. Crooks.

Use to be the best indian food in downtown langley , Last time it was very watered down and different than usual not impressed its not like its cheap either. Use to be a 5 star but now its 3 stars at best. My grandmother came down from up country and I feel like they let us down as she was a big fan of Ashoka...

I have never ordered from this restaurant, and so wanted something different. I placed my order at 8:09PM on a Saturday evening and then called to find out what was taking so long at 9:00PM, after being handed over to a second person I was told that my order had been forgotten...forgotten. Ive ordered from two separate Chinese food restaurants in Langley, and have never had a order forgotten. Also their web app is confusing. So rules for businesses. 1. a satisfied customer will tell one or two people, a dissatisfied customer will tell a dozen 2. Most dissatisfied customer wont tell the business owner they made a mistake they just wont go back. So, yeah Im not going back

Bad choice on birthday to have dinner at Ashoka Indian restaurant. We ordered Biryani and it was salty and not tasty at all. We have to eat along with white rice since had no interest to leave food. Paneer chilly was not at all good. We have to go to counter to ask for raw onions. Not recommended specially when you are hungry

SEVERE food poisening after eating from this restaurant!!!! Severe Vomiting, Severe Diarrhea, feel SO SICK!!!! The paneer curry looked like they ate out of it and then spit it back into the dish, lots of very small pieces and a Long black hair and a piece of glass found in the curry as well. This restaurant does not even deserve 1 star!! They are trying their best to give food poisening to everyone!! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!

We had a great lunch today in this restaurant. The food came after a reasonable wait and came right out of the oven, the food was so tasty and not so spicy as we were all not willing to boost our chily intake . The lady who served us was so good and patient in taking our order as we were all so curious and asked so many questions already she was so patient and accommodating!

Nice delicious food. Delivery, take out & dine in for your conveniency. Fair priced. I think the only thing I would change is the Masala used on the batter for the samosa. We got med/spicy butter chicken wich tasted like spicy spicy lol but me and my wife like spicy so we didnt complain. The butter chicken & Garlic Naan is probably the best ive had from any east Indian restaurant sofar! Would definitely get from here again without a doubt. A pleasant first time experience.

Today i went to the restaurant at 8:55 pm and the restaurant was about to close. The girl named SHRI was exceptionally good and helpful She prepared potato paranthi for my son and she prepared even she was about to close the restaurant She went oit of the way and prepared a tawa parntha in exactly the manner my son likes and it was soo delicious!!!! For $38 we ordered Combo A Butter chicken, channa masala, two pieces of tandoori naan, rice, raita, and two vegetable samosas. It was so delicious and it was large portions, would for sure feed a family of 4 Vegetarian options: Chana masala was so delicious Vegi samosas were good

Appears to have been purchased withen the last few weeks. Heartbreaking, favorite restaurant ever has become disappointing.

I had to wait a long time as part of my order was given to someone else. Most of my order sat on a side table getting cold. We had to heat up our food. They wouldnt let me use my discount through in the loop.

Nice cosy indian place,what I liked about the place most they didnt play bollywood or punjabi music.Infact they were Christmas songs . second Ive never eaten tandoori chicken as sizzler...well quite a fusion ,but I liked it...as the aroma of the tandoori chicken just made me hungry more...the goat curry naan was perfect , except I felt the portion of rice was bit less...overall great experience

The most delicious, amazing, wonderful food I have ever ate. We ordered dinner on skip and the food came and to say it was out of this world would be an understatement. We have ordered from here before and enjoyed but tonight was extra special, SO GOOD. I have eaten lots of authentic Indian food vs non authentic and this is hands down the best restaurant in langley. Excellent, authentic Indian cuisine. I highly recommend the Channa Samosa and Fish Masala, both are flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The saag (spinach) is really good as well! All-in-all the food has been consistently delicious every time that Ive visited, and I would highly recommend that you give them a shot, even if Indian food is not your go-to. I like my food spicier than normally available, and Ive had excellent service, staff have always been happy to comply with any requests Ive made for extra spicy sauce or chutney etc. Bonus: Try the Lassi, its made fresh to order and you can specify if you want any changes made before hand.

We have been going to Ashoka for years but will not return after September 18th 2021. We arrived and were served warm water. There was no one in the restaurant but the service was terrible. We ordered Baranyi Chicken, naan bread and pakoras. We waited forever for water refills when there was no one else around. The service was terrible and we will not return. It was the first time my husband did not leave a tip. You have lost regular customers. There is more attention to take out than diners who want to eat in.

Nathan was out host and server which was very lucky for us. His description of the food was great, his suggestions perfect and dealing with a vegan was child s play for him. I was with two novice Indian foodies but they enjoyed the bhindi, banghan bartha, aloo gobi and samosas. Lots of leftovers for The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean, attractive and intimate. We will be back soon.

Good food

Loved the dinning experience especially the relaxing atmosphere and a very good attentive service..

Ive been ordering butter chicken, saag chicken and kadai chicken from Ashoka and I absolutely love their blend of spices and flavor in all the curries. Even Mango chicken, which I was reluctant to order, is surprisingly good. Ive never regretted ordering from here, its always worth it <3

Delicious food!!

This one is only for the staff. To the management- if u can replace the staff, pls do bcoz ur staff got utmost low standards of customer service. All people in the kitchen preparing food be it that bor or the ladies, they are really rude to customers. With no rush in the restaurant, the staff was chit chatting in the back without any idea that customers are waiting and they were very cool abt it. I blv these 4.5stars for this restaurant are probably paid. There are far better indian food places out thr that have far better staff. This one really deserves a minus 5. Pathetic

The best restaurant in Langley for authentic Indian food.

We used to have a favourite go to Indian restaurant in Vancouver...since we found Ashoka we have stopped driving into Vancouver...all the dishes here are very good ...
