Captains Oven Pizza Langley in Langley

Had been to captain ovens in Surrey which was excellent, however Im sad to say the standards in Langley are not up to par. See attached photo, pizza was delivered arrived smashed into half. Was unable to feasibly eat the half of the pizza without rolling it to save its structure. Pizza also arrived cold. 2 pizzas for 65$. Dont order delivery. Or perhaps go to another location to save yourself the hassle. Langley residents deserve better.

Best pizza I ve ever had great service amazing people

When client make a order of pizza for pick up, client expects fresh pizza , specially because it is pricey pizza. But , unfortunately today, my order was not fresh. I ordered half-pizza frango catupiry and half carne seca catupiry. As you can see in the photo, both pizza was old and with half of cheese. They just add catupiry. So, 2 old half pizza was what I got for 44 dollars . I also wondering if it happened because I did not add for pick up. Restaurant should expect tips for delivery or dinner in , not for pick up. So disappointed!!!

This little restaurant is conveniently located inside Willowbrook Mall away from the busy food court. It has a really nice seating area that almost feels like its own restaurant. I am celiac and require gluten-free crust, which they offer at an extra charge, as well as vegan cheese. It was delicious!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free Dairy-free

The price is a bit more but the taste and service is absolutely amazing ! We tried a chefs special veg pizza. Definitely a Togo place for the best pizza in Langley !!!

This is our place to go for a good pizza. We love the Cheese Lovers, the Chicken with Catupiry, and the Carne Seca - a Brazilian meat. My son loves their Parmigino chicken, too. The staff is amazing, the environment is cozy and well placed, with all the convenience of being in a mall. For Brazilians - Guys, this is certainly the pizzeria where youll find the closest pizza to Brazilian pizza. Its worth the visit. And, the icing on the cake: pizza with guarana! Yes, they have Guarana Antartica.

We went on a Monday night so there was a special: Buy one medium or large pizza and get second one at 50% off! I always get the Truffle Mushroom one because it s my favourite. My hubby ordered the Mexicana Picante. Both were delicious and I love their garlic sauce! The service was fantastic; the server and owner were very attentive, prompt and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant at Willowbrook Mall. Parking: Plenty of free parking; plenty of accessible parking and charging stations for electric vehicles. Wheelchair accessibility: All flat surfaces and they have tables and chairs as well as half booths.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Food was delicious. Service was great. The chef even wanted to know how our meals were.

Best pizza in Langley. Service is great and the pizza is ready in just a few minutes. I go there once a week.

One of my favorite pizza restaurants in Langley! I have had the opportunity to visit captains oven a few times now and the pizza is always delicious, highly recommend the captains favorite and the garlic cheese bread. Service is always friendly and although the restaurant is in the mall it is in the corner near an entrance so doesnt feel as if you are dining in a mall.

Recently I ordered 4 large pizzas and was impressed by the quality and size of the pizzas. Note the large pizzas are huge. The price was good especially consideriing the quality and size.

We were so happy to have fresh pizza this weekend. Customer service was fabulous too. Mannat was the one who was serving us and making sure that we are getting served properly. I hope to get this kind of customer service everytime we go there. I am not pizza lover but if I eat pizza is only captains oven pizza. Wish them good luck for success and more locations in lower mainland.

Pleasantly surprised at this pizza place within Willowbrook mall! Bought a few slices for my wife and I (and our infant) and they put them in the oven and brought it to us on real plates! Nice to have a sit-down resturaunt experience in the mall. Pizza was delicious and the pepperoni reminded me of the pizza I had in New York. Ill definitely come back for their $8.99 2 slice and pop lunch special

I work across the street so I usually go to Fresh Slice, but I recently discovered this place. They do pizza but the slice too .Its almost the same price, but the pizza is way better quality.

Its in the mall but the pizzas out of this world good. A pleasure to trust reviews and still be surprised by the quality of the pies. Definitely going to visit again!

I came with my friend to try out this place but it was a disappointment. They ve reduced their toppings portions. For the price its so less toppings, which aren t even fresh. Ordered a Captains Favourite last Friday through Uber Eats (Langley). Specifically said Please no onions as we have allergies. Pizza showed up with onions piled all over it. People that were able to eat it said the pizza was good while the person who was allergic ate leftovers from the night before. So decent pizza but dont assume they will be able to read instructions and or follow them, very disappointing for almost a $50 pizza. Edit: Management reached out to me and worked out a fair and equitable solution. Many businesses wouldnt have done so and I give them credit for this.

Really good place for pizza and pasta. Bit pricey, but worth it. They have Pasta Tuesdays for cheaper pasta prices on regular items! Highly recommend their Max & Cheese, as well as their classic Italian pizzas Neapolitana and Margherita.

My family and I went there today for a quick bite. The pizza was fantastic! Plenty of toppings, fresh, hot and at a reasonable price. Our server was very sweet and the owner came up and thanked us for supporting their business. Overall it was just a very positive experience and we will definitely be back next time we are craving pizza.

Absolutely the best brick oven artisan pizza I have ever had! I travel to Langley every month for a few days from the United States and find it difficult to find food that is both refreshing and not full of additives and preservatives. While doing a google search browsing for something for dinner this place caught my eye . Take time to read their website! I am by no means an expert on authentic Italian foods, so this is preference review. I am super picky about my pizza, most brick oven pizzas are mediocre at best, due too thick of edge crust or burnt beyond being enjoyable. But when they get it right its phenomenal! This is it! This place really shines with attention to top ingredients that work very well together and top it off with a very pleasant surprise of their signature garlic sauce which is my favorite. I WILL be going back every time I visit. Their menu has a lot of different items and I doubt I will tire easily of trying their different dishes. The staff was amazing and very attentive even one of the gentlemen stopped by asking how we liked our meal and explained the brick oven in detail. Its a very clean open atmosphere area with a fresh look. Very much worth a try!

The food specially their chefs special is the worst. The cashier server whatever was always on her phone didn t even ask me if i wanted any desert. I ordered the tiramisu and it was stale. 0 stars from my side. Will never visit again and nor will i recommend it to anyone.

We always get our pizzas here. I love every single pizza here, literally soooo good! Also try the tiramisu, that was one of my favourite tiramisus ever! This was probably the 6 or 7th time we ate here!

Nothing really to say here, so Ill keep it simple. If not the best, its close to the best pizza you can get in Langley and its definitely worth trying.

I can only assume all the other customers have not had a decent pizza. The pizza was disgusting, absolutely no flavor. Even the Marinera sauce was watered down. Crust was chewy, not crusty. Cheese was bland, tomato sauce acidic garbage.

Second time I have ordered from here and the pizza is so undercooked its not even edible. My first time you could argue its just preference on how you like it cooked but this one is really under done. Its got black char spots on it but not cooked at all. You guys either need to turn your oven down or leave it in longer. Disappointing. Pizza has potential to be really really good the flavour and look is all there. Just need to cook your pizza longer. This is the second time I will most likely be deleting this review after a week. Bring a small business owner I hate the idea of damaging a new business with low review. I just want someone up in management to see this Edit: I just put the pizza in my oven for ten minutes and it was perfect and tasted amazing. This one was really undercooked. Also in the box your going to lose some of that crisp crunch so your going to want to cook it a little more. If its undercooked and goes into the box its a double catastrophe. My husband and I went there for dinner last night for Father s Day. We had the cheese steak pizza and the prosciutto arugula pizza and it was some of the best pizza I ve ever had. The crust was thin and crispy and cooked perfectly. It was very busy and service was great. We will for sure be returning again !

We were excited to try this place. It was a busy Sunday lunch, no tables available. Though there was 1 reserved table. I asked how the seating works. Was told my name would be put down for the next available table. I saw a family leave, and another family take the table, which technically would have been my table. I asked the staff. They lied and said that family reserved it. Not true, because I watched the whole ordeal. So I called them out. The guilt of the staff sank in. She apologized. I had no intention of dining there anymore. I was very turned off by their lack of system. My kid was really hungry by this point and was looking forward to pizza. So I did purchase one slice to go. The staff did comp my order. I appreciated that. Kid liked the pizza. But I don t think I ll be a customer again. Just turned off by all of it. On a brighter note, we went to cazba next door and had a great stress free lunch!

Great restaurant and have delicious options of pasta and pizza

The pizza & pasta at Captain Oven Pizza is absolutely delicious! The pizza crust and cheese were fused to absolute perfection. The variety of toppings was impressive, and never experienced such a fresh and flavorful pizza. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Although the place was a bit far but worth it Highly recommend Captain Oven Pizza to any pizza lovers out there. Will take photos on my next one, missed, was so engrossed in food.

This was our first time At Captains Oven, My son went just 2 days ago and Highly Recommended it So we all went today for Mothers Day Lunch....I have to say it certainly did not disappoint...Not only was the Food fantastic the Customer Service was Outstanding...We left feeling Full and very appreciated for Coming in... The owner and Staff made our experience stand out from the rest (also bringing us a complimentary Piece of Cake in celebration of Mothers Day) We will 100% be back to try more of the menu. Excellent quality pizza. Great service. Expensive but worth it. Its authentic Neapolitan style pizza so its not for everyone. My husband hates it but I cant get enough. You can order full pizzas or take one by the slice. Lots to choose from. After you order you take a seat and they serve you. I wasnt expecting that.

We tried captains pizza on Thursday night and it was so amazing we had to get it again Sunday night. My man tried the seafood pizza that was 48$ but he loved it!. My peperoni is the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is chewy and you can taste the fire. Incredible!

Love the pizza here. Excellent customer service. Super fresh pizza. Love the thin crust. We have been back here 3 times so far. My only complaint is that one of the girls that work there did NOT change her gloves once since we were there, which was Friday march 29 at 1:15 as we sat and watched her serve customers clean tables with sanitizer, go out front to cash serve customers, pizza, and then also serve customers, drinks, and their food at the table and not once were her gloves changed the blue ones she was wearing I am too in the food industry so I know how very important it is to change your gloves in between changing the job you are doing yes, we will still continue to come to Captains oven pizza but we really hope that this beautiful young lady is taught that she needs to change her gloves in between customers and cleaning tables Thank you. Alright, this was a bit heartbreaking. There s nothing I love more than a Neapolitan pizza. It s (in theory) got a bit of that NY-thin crust, and a bit of that wild crust. It s kind of the perfect pizza, if there s no NY style around. Which there isn t. Anyways, I had high hopes. I m a bit of a minimalist when it comes to pizza, so I always get the pepperoni (I mean, come on, I need meat). The price is good, but it s expensive enough to fool you into thinking you re paying for quality. AND THEY VE GOT A BRICK OVEN this place screams competence and precision. I couldn t have been more wrong. The crust was gooey. How is a thin-crust ever gooey? It was baked, sure. I didn t get doughy pizza, I got soft, gummy, gooey pizza. The crust underside had almost no character. NEAPOLITAN PIZZA IS DEFINED BY ITS CHARACTER. This spot has potential, for sure. But right now it feels like the chefs are watching YT on how to make a Neapolitan Pizza , in between shots of amateur juice. The pizza is unimaginative, bland and undercooked. I want a bit of crunch in the crust. I don t want to eat pepperoni gum. Stop making gummy pizza. Cook your pizza, simplify your menu, and learn to do 3 things well, rather than 70 things with painful mediocrity. I ll be back when I m desperate enough, but that ll probably be a couple years. I hope y all get better. This was insultingly mediocre. $40 for a pizza and brownies better change my freakin life. It did not.

During the day from 11:00 to 3:00 they do pizza by the slice. Open in the evenings until 10:00 pm. Always amazing service by the staff, always incredible food as well. Worth checking it out!!

Came here tonight for pizza, but the Tuesday pasta special caught our eye. My daughter had the Captain s Truffle Mac and Cheese and said, Their macaroni is the best ever because they put shredded parmesan cheese on it and it made my mouth water for more.

This place is so good !! Only had their pizza, but its super flavorful, and so many options (a bit priceyer but worth it). The only thing, its located in the mall, so I usually get it as take out.

Delicious pizza!!! They have an extensive menu to choose from. The tomato sauce is perfection, and the dough has the perfect chew to it without being too tough as someone italian pizza can be tough. Highly recommend checking them out!!

We were here for pizza and tried their chiken pesto. We didnt know their happy hour time but the guy told about offer in happy hour. We informed them about our spicy level taste and took care of that as well . While we were having pizza, two people came to our table and ask about the pizza and is their anything they can do to make our visit better. Which I liked very much. Bordering on 5 stars. Excellent pizza, only 1 place in the lower mainland that I enjoy the pizza more at, which is in Richmond. The cheese pizza has an excellent blend of cheeses. Great selection of vegetarian pizza. Only recommendation would be to use a little more sauce on the pizzas. Even the crust tastes good without anything on it. Vegetarian options: They had 4 different vegetarian pizzas ready when we went for a couple of slices. Nice to see more ready selections for veggy than most places.

The pizzas are great, ingredients are fresh and the brazilian style pizzas are a must. But yesterday a ordered a 50$+ medium pizza and an unusually small medium pizza showed up with the delivery. It as a shock for the price paid and seeing a small pizza being delivered. Again, the pizza it self is delicious but the sizes are quite small when compared to any other pizza place. Update: I appreciate the customer service contact so I changed my review rating.

We usually go to the Surrey location because its so close by but I really loved the service and atmosphere of the Langley location. We got there around 8 and we were pleasantly surprised that it was open and they had an eat in option. The server recommended the Captains Garlic cheese bread and it was an amazing call! The cheese bread is SO GOOD and we also got the meat lovers pizza which was delicious. The prices are great, we spent about 35 dollars for 2 people and they also serve alcohol making this a perfect place for a date night!

A lover of Neapolitan pizza and drop into various spots in Vancouver. Ie Garden Pizza Main Street. But living in the burbs its challenging to find this light, bubbly thin crust pizza. Stumbled upon Captains Oven Pizza in the new food court extension in the Willowbrook Mall. Right next to Lee s donuts another favorite spot. Staff were more than helpful, place clean and tidy. Manager was helpful and keen to please. Pizza was available by the slice, perfect I like to mix em up. Had a slice of traditional pepperoni and ham and cheese. Arrived quickly and hot to my table and, as expected, crispy bubbly, not heavy on the cheese just as I liked it downtown. I ll be back. Fully Wheelchair assessable (auto door) mall washrooms nestled in corridor behind.

Tried it for the first time. The table we were seated on was not clean. Moreover the pasta that we ordered ( penne Arabiata) was under cooked and hard to chew. The pizza was also dry. Wouldn t come again

Im a service provider for all 3 locations. I had a great experience with the person who was there today when I was doing the service. Polite , positive very helpful and always had a smile on her face. As well, keeping up with her duties while offering to help more than once. Had their pizza for the 2nd time today and again it was beyond good. It was excellent!! Thanks Han!

We went out yesterday for a special dinner, for brazilians we call rodizio de pizza, what a surprise, the best pizza I have eaten in canada, good quality, lots of different flavors, most of them with the famous catupiry chesse( brazilian kind of cheese) ... the staff is so lovely, friendly and attentive! I have told them I dont eat meat, so they were always worried about me and bringing lots of delicious options! Im feel really welcome! Thank you so much everyone! Everything is just perfect! Highly recommend

I recently dined at Captain Pizza and tried the Mushroom Truffle Pizza and Nonas Pasta. The flavors were amazing! The pizza and pasta were both delicious, and the truffle really added a special touch. We also had the Warm Chocolate Cake for dessert, which was decent but not outstanding. Overall, a great dining experience with fantastic flavors.

Excellent customer service from these guys. There was a mistake made and they had gone over and beyond what is expected. Id called the wrong store to let them know of their mistake and that store, which I did not order from, was willing to put me first as a customer and take care of my concerns. I deal with customers k a daily basis and I can not believe the high level of customer service that two locations provided me. Watch out Papa Johns and Panago, the Captain s ship has docked and it looks like they re here to stay.

This has quickly become my favorite spot for pizza. Love the crust and topping options. Prices are reasonable, great the location and service is fantastic.

Best gluten-free pizza youll have. Seriously. The chew is perfect like real dough and its not thin crust like other types of gluten-free pizzas, 10/10 would get again and suggest to anyone

Best pizza I ever eaten in canda, if you are tired of same classic flavors try the outstanding pizzas of the world, specially the Brazilian style with Catupiry. The service is also amazing we feel so welcome always smiling and on top of that they just started the famous Rodízio ( all you can eat )... Thank you all for feeding us so well

Great restaurant with a Brazilian vibe touch. I got surprised you can order Brazilian Caipirinha here!! haha I ordered Pollo con Alfredo and it was delicious. Have tried the pizzas already and the dough is fantastic.

Worst crust ive had since moving to langley. Toppings are fine but was utterly disappointed considering the price and reviews. Will go back to hellcrust next time.

Best pizza around here! We had the Chef s Special and it was excellent. Great flavour combo. There was an issue. We ordered a medium and due finished it off. I was craving it for breakfast...should have order a large.

We did a long time for this place to open up and unbelievably disappointing ordered a calzone. If that s what you could call it. Absolutely no taste at all the dough was paper, thin whatever toppings was in it which was hardly anything at all was all on one side, and the other side of it was absolutely rockhard, I have never tasted a calzone so terrible in my life. My one year-old grandson loves chicken and he didn t even eat the chicken strips. He kept spitting them out my wife s pizza again I guess you could call it that hardly anything on it for any pop any sauce and you re better off to eat the cardboard box would probably have a better taste , if you re looking for a good calzone, better off to go to Pizza Pizza 100 times better

Agree with some of the reviews, we found the dough to be overly chewy. Toppings where fine but again the cheese was sparse. Had wings where ok too, captains salad has huge chunks of dried apricots which kind of overpowered everything else. Langley Pizza market is a tough sell nobody seems to be able to rival Emilios

The pizza is absolutely insane. I havent tried any slice there that isnt bomb
