WOORINARA Korean Restaurant is doing its best to enjoy Korean home-style dishes in Canada. We serve our guests with seasonal side dishes and sincere hospitality. Try our signature menus, "WORINARA SOUP" and "SOY SAUCE SHRIMP," and you will feel the best taste that no other restaurant has ever tasted.
Me and the wife just went there. We really enjoyed ourselves. The quality, portion and price was amazing. It is very nice to have all those side dishes and tea when you order something. We are both extremely full at the moment and probably are more than we intended to.
Woorinara is a delightful culinary gem, offering an authentic taste of Korean cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. Dishes like the bibimbap and bulgogi are flavorful and beautifully presented, showcasing fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the dining experience. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered. Overall, Woorinara is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Korean food in a cozy setting.
Good food and service. The dishes were pretty standard, with some standouts and some that could be improved on. The seafood pancake was a let-down: a lot of batter but with not much taste, even with the dip. The bibim naeng myun was super refreshing, great balance of flavours and the noodles were perfectly chewy. We got a small gam ja tang jeon gol and it came with a lot of meat, super yummy. Bi bim bap, chicken and bulgogi were average. Seaweed soup and rice were great! There were many side dishes and it was pretty standard. I’m picky about the potato side dish and this one was below average.
Food was good tasting! Service was quick and easy. The shop is nice and clean. Cha-dol Doenjang Jjigae - assorted bean soup stew got some beef, clams, tofu, veggie Buglgogi - staandard stuff maeinated beef Bo Ssam- steam pork belly
Likely one of only a few of the real reviews on here. As someone else alluded, the others seem paid for. So sad. That was pretty evident upon pick up when it was pretty dead at dinner time, and validated further when we tasted the food. 1 dish was okay, the other was absolutely not what we expected. We ordered takeout and had a difficult time getting understanding with the order, then when we arrived the order was incorrect. The Rice Cake and Raman (Robokki) was okay, but the boneless Fried Chicken barely contained chicken. It was breaded with an extremely crispy batter that had the texture of a dried duck (that I give to my dog). Admittedly this might be a different dish or specialty that we simply don't like, so to each their own. But we wanted Korean Fried Chicken and this was not at all the double breaded and fried KFC we are used to at all the other Korean Chicken restaurants. So sad. Not only did it cost a small fortune for two dishes, we now need to find some other food to eat to feel complete.
We did a walk in order here (takeout), the staff quickly greeted us and handed us the menu, about 7 minutes after placing our order it was ready! Upon opening the order, we found a very sweet note saying “thank you” with a little heart next to it. This simple little deed made us so happy and honestly boosted our moods so much, the staff are very sweet and the food was delicious. If you haven’t gone here yet, get your a$$ up and go get some sushi from Woorinara :) !!!
Falling in love with Korean food every single time I have it. Super happy that my friend took me here for lunch. We ordered two diff items and both came with so many side dish. I really enjoyed the soup a lot as it had a lot of flavour and perfect amount of spice. I appreciate the complimentary tea that came with our food. Cozy atmosphere, clean, and friendly staff!
Had the opportunity to visit this little establishment around langley downtown area. So glad to see more Korean food alternative on this side of the town. Bossam - originally I was worried that it might be tasteless and dry based on the look. But it’s actually flavourful and soft. Wrap with cabbage and spicy radish salad. So meaty yet refreshing. U can ask for bean sauce on the side to add extra layer of taste. Woorinara soup - basically a spicy beef soup. It’s very rich of beef and kimchi flavours. It’s quite spicy though so be aware if u can’t handle the spiciness. Too spicy for me but I really enjoyed it. Spicy cold noodle - it’s good and refreshing, add some mustard and vinegar to make the taste more vibrant. Overall i really enjoyed my meal there. It’s a small restaurant so it could take a little longer for food to come out but I don’t think it’s an issue. Come give it a try when ur in town.
Good food. Great experience
Everything is good the food is soooo good especially the I love that I would definitely come to visit again! Food
The best place in lower mainland
A great homely place for when you re craving bubbling hot soup and rice. Tastes quite authentic and reminds me of my mom s cooking. I love that the banchan is refillable upon request as well!! The restaurant is quite small so it can get pretty loud with other guests when it s busy
This side dish is so delicious. I m so impressed. I finally get the taste of home ~ The portion is good The price is a bit high but it s really not expensive ~ This should become a place I often go to in the future
I ve eaten here several times and I ve always been satisfied. Today I ordered online, directly through their website, only to find out when I walked to pick up my food - the restaurant was closed. The website charged my credit card and I have no food. There was a sign on the restaurant door, stating they took a summer vacation. But they forgot to disable their online food services. I now have a charge on my card and will have to formally dispute or wait until they get back from vacation to get a refund.
I love you You even bring me fruit,,, it s like the food my mom makes,,
Nice little place. Consistently good food. Excellent japchae. Banchan good. Love the sprouts
Dont go during closing time.
The Korean soup here is really authentic, didnt expect to find such authentic food place within Langley. Definitely a must try.
Awesome Korean food with a great atmosphere. Great staff and clean place.
Id go again.
Incredible food at an affordable price. Huge portions that dont make you feel terrible after!
phenomenal authentic Korean food with amazing service and ambiance
Great food very homey. I got extra rice but later realized they didnt charge me (I should have tipped more). I wanna try other dishes next time.
Delicious gem! The Korean food here was really delicious. We tried the seafood fluffy pancake, the ox bone soup and the kimchi fried rice. Would love to come back. The folks here seem really kind and pleasant.
Good food good vibe. The portions were perfect. No complaints.
Yukhoe is so delicious
Small and nice restaurant, good service
It s good !
Good food, friendly service,
Dont get the intestine hotpot. The taste is not so clean or good.
Its so delicious ^^ Its definitely a great soup restaurant~~ It is amazing. REAL Korean food I love their spicy soup.
Def the best Korean restaurant in Langley. Its pretty small tho, and has limited parking; but the food was great and came out pretty quick (even considering it was super busy), prices are normal, staff were nice. Will definitely be back (if we find parking lol).
Wished they have more servers during lunch time
My favourite Korean restaurant in Langley. Service is always on point and the food is delicious. Great portions and the taste is authentic.
The best Korean food I ate during my two-week business trip to North America.
Food was authentic, great flavor, good services and plenty of side dishes. We even order a frozen version of the soup to go.
their food to pick up was so hot still. the Udon was great
It s a Korean shop with quite authentic taste. If you come to Langley, you can stop by and try it.
Delicious authentic Korean dishes.
Had a good experience, the food was tasty and the quantity was good for the price. Service was quick and it wasnt too busy or loud during my visit
The price is reasonable, the portion is generous, and the taste is good
A great place for enjoying tasty Korean cuisine. The staff are friendly and helpful. They welcomed us when we came in. The place is clean and tidy, including the bathrooms. The price is reasonable for the quality, serving size and variety of each dishes. The food came out in a timely manner. We usually order the Doenjang Jigae soup, spicy pork meal and the bibimbap, which are made well and tasted great. Despite its name, the spicy pork meal is not that spicy, yet it is still delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and homey, so this is great if you want to have a conversation with someone while enjoying Korean cuisine. A downside is the Dduk Bae Gi Bulgogi soup is too sweet. I didnt consume all of the soup in case I get a stomach ache. I also noticed the soup has scrambled eggs in it, which I am allergic to. It would be better if there are labels that contain common food allergens on the menu. Overall, I highly recommend coming here if you want delicious Korean food in Langley. Parking: Free street parking or nearby parking lot. Parking lot is on private property across the street, so park at your own risk
The bibimbap and kimchi stew were delicious, but the seafood and green onion pancakes were more like bread than green onion pancakes. Since it was $27, I thought there would be a lot of green onions and seafood, but the contents were poor and too thick, which was disappointing.
The Korean family restaurant, the family foods.
Delicious!
A restaurant with delicious Korean soup (yukgaejang)! Definitely recommend Korean soup and rice. This time I tried a lot of different foods. When I tried the sweet and sour pork with kkanpunggi, I thought this was a Chinese restaurant. After eating the jeon, I thought it was because I was craving makgeolli, but Of course, my favorite dish is Korean rice soup. The marbled soybean paste stew is also neat!
A restaurant frequented by many local Koreans. The menu offers soy sauce shrimp, and the side dishes are also very delicious, and it feels very thoughtful. The lady in front of the stage smiled very kindly and politely. Feel like in Korea! Its always full at noon on weekdays, so sometimes you have to wait for a table. Will visit again to try other dishes. Note that the store seems to be closed on Wednesdays.
I ordered takeout a bit ago and it was SO good, so I decided to visit the actual restaurant. The food was even better fresh, the workers were lovely and friendly and didnt bother us too much while we were eating (which is a plus for me!) but still checked in, and the price point is extremely reasonable. I had so much food I ended up with leftovers, which will definitely be a midnight snack. The lady at the counter asked if everything was good, and you can tell they care about their food. Definitely my favorite Korean place!
The octopus set meal was so delicious! Have a good meal :)
Awesome food!
Food were meh. Dishes came out cold but was expecting hot and well cooked. Place however was clean and service was nice and quick. This was somewhat disappointing as our first visit was excellent experience.
Nice food. Tasty
I ordered the Jiamppong noodles, Woorinara soup, and the LA. Galbi via UberEats. The food was packaged so safe and professionally! The containers were strong, and a plastic film was laminated on top so there was no chance of spillage. The Galbi was one of the best Ive ever had! Thick pieces of beef perfectly seasoned with onions and vegetables on top and bottom. The veggies were very tasty as it absorbed the juices from the marinate and had a slight charred taste. The meat itself was so juicy and tender - however, I cant justify the price as it was very expensive. The Woorinara soup was delicious! There were some slices of beef that usually goes into the beef bone soup (Sulungtang meat) There were radishes in there (which I usually do not eat) however they were well cooked, tasty, AND they melted in my mouth! The spiciness wasnt at a level where I wanted it, however it was a light spiciness that somehow packed a slight punched with each spoonful - this soup is a must buy and I see why this is such a popular item. The Jiamppong were an absolute disappointment :( This was the worst Jiamppong Ive ever had in my life. The noodles were not the usual Jjiamppong noodles, and the soup was so watered down I had trouble tasting anything. There were only TWO pieces of seafood in here, one shrimp and one mussel.
Very clean, very friendly place. Food is amazing. Definitely coming back. Thank you for giving us a great experience Recommended dishes
We went for lunch with our Korean friends to this restaurant which was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and mouth watering. The restaurant is very cozy and welcoming . The service was very quick and friendly. Would recommend this for food anytime
The food was wonderful, and the staff were exceptionally kind.
Feb 2023 Updated, it has been almost 4 yrs & we are still coming back! Thank you to the owner & staff as our expectation are met everytime. Pleasantly surprised by this newly opened Korean restaurant. We ordered bi bim bap & tofu hot pot. The quality is very high, tofu hot pot is full of flavours and everything else tasted delicious. We would definitely return to try other entries on the menu!
Best korean restaurant in town
Food was great. Came in a tray with everything on it. Side dishes were very healthy and good. Ordered soft tofu soup and it was quite delicious. Staff were friendly and food came out in good time.
Amazing authentic Korean dishes. The potato side dish is very good
Good service, however portion sizes are a little small for the price. Would not recommend if you are vegetarian, as there are little to no options and there were no options to take out any meat/seafood ingredients in certain dishes. Vegetarian options: Little to no vegetarian options. Parking: Not that much street parking
This place never failed my expectation. Great food great service!
Gukbap is the best.
Was craving some Korean food and this place was highly reviewed on google, and for good reason, the service was very good, the place is clean, and best of all the food was delicious. The sides were so flavourful, I loved the potato side which was in a sweet sauce, and the little omelette side was amazing! The main courses were all tasty, and they even asked us if we wanted a little more of the side dishes. I ll definitely be back!
Although it wasnt the best Korean restaurant, I had no issues with the food because it was prepared well and the service was excellent. In my opinion, including four of the most popular side dishes as part of the order was strange because Ive never had this happen before; typically, restaurants offer you the sides and top them off, but in this instance, they were included as part of the meal. Its a fantastic little restaurant for anyone looking for Korean food, but I doubt Id go there myself because there are so many others with better deals on food.
Spicy tofu is good delivery is meh
My expectations were high because of the reviews I have read but I find the food taste is just average. It is quite expensive too in my opinion. Came out to be about $35 per person without the service charge yet.
Nice food, good service, reasonable price. Would visit again.
The food was great, service was also very good
It has become my favorite Korean food in town. The soups are so nice and raw shrimp is also fresh.
This place never disappoints. Great food and Service
Nice restaurant. Good service. Food portions were small.
It was a clean environment, tasty food, good service restaurant... But later on we went a few times, the food I ordered (pork bone soup)was under cooked, the service was kind of rushed, the female owner even pull the long face when we ask side dishes It might be near their closing time (it was 7:50pm),the soup dish requested a long time stew, the dish may be preparing for the next day ? But if its not ready to be served, they can tell the customer the soup dish sold out, not bring the under cooked dish to customers!! Two times we had the same issues, so we dont go the restaurant anymore!
These days, when everything except salary has gone up and we are afraid to spend money carelessly, we would like to thank you for working so that we can choose Uri Nara Korean Restaurant without hesitation and eat consistently high-quality food. I think he is like an orchestra conductor who doesnt try to be fancy or show off techniques in his food, but rather maintains appropriate boundaries and directs each ingredient so that they taste harmoniously to the fullest. There is a lot of motivation, but there are many dishes that are difficult to convey. This is our family s Must-go-to local place in Vancouver. All dishes stay within boundaries where rules of K-cuisines are still not ignored, so the chef of this place knows how each and every single ingredient should be harmoniously cooked to make one masterpiece. They also carry pre-made and frozen signature dishes in their chest freezer and those are also a good option for you can enjoy their food at home as well without losing any rich original flavor of the dishes even if you take them to camping for outdoor cooking . I ve got so many more words to describe how good they are, but you should try this place. Highly highly recommended.
Great food
Pathetic service came in close to 8:20pm and they were not welcoming at all and said closing at 9pm and we cannot be in the restaurant after 9pm.
Great food!
I used to have a wonderful experience with both the food and service at this establishment. However, during my recent visit, I encountered an unpleasant incident involving another customer. A man, accompanied by his daughter, loudly expressed his desire to have my table so that they could combine it with theirs for a larger seating area. He went so far as to state that I needed to leave in order to accommodate them. Regrettably, instead of addressing the situation with sensitivity or asking me to move to another table, while there weren t much customers, the server appeared to be aware of his intentions and hastily cleared my table while I was still enjoying my meal. Without asking for my intentions or allowing me to finish my water, she promptly presented me with the bill, displaying an intrusive and pushy demeanor. As a result of this experience, I have decided not to return to this establishment. Their customer service not only lacked tact but also seemed to prioritize appeasing rude customers.
Great service and Delicious food!
Best Korean food in town! Their service is amazing and food is super delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a go-to Korean restaurant! Friendly staffs as well
Woorinara is a Korean restaurant in Langley that has become one of my absolute favorites. This hidden gem offers the most authentic Korean cuisine you can find outside of Korea, making it worth the trip even if you dont have any specific plans in the area. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the owners, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the exceptional level of service they provide. Each visit has been met with attentive staff who go above and beyond to cater to our needs and preferences, without hesitation or questions. Even during busy periods, the quality of service remains consistently impressive, leaving me pleasantly surprised every time. The star of the show is undoubtedly the food. The menu is filled with an array of dishes, but their soups are truly outstanding. You can taste the authentic flavours and fresh ingredients. The food here is so good that I often buy their frozen takeout gookbap. The packaging is meticulous and ensures that the flavours and textures remained intact even after reheating. Another standout dish is their Tofu Kimchi. This homemade kimchi is better than store bought quality and gives you a taste of Korea. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are surprisingly affordable, making it worth a trip out to visit them!
My favourite place to eat when I am in Vancouver! Food is always so good and filling. Always a good experience! Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Great quality and authentic tasting Korean food.
Woorinara Korean restaurant is more than Korea. Very tasty, kind staff, clean. Try woorinara soup&soy sauce shrimp It s amazing. Food : 5/5 |
Exceptional service and even better taste! The house special woorinara gookbab and the cheese dakgalbi were probably one of the best dishes I have had in awhile. Environment is very friendly as well, would be great to go with family, friends, co-workers, etc. Price is cheap considering the quality and quantity of the dishes, especially when each order comes with various side dishes. Hopefully more authentic Korean restaurants around Vancouver learn from Woorinara and put effort into matching with their standards.
Korean restaurant that I often eat with SCOBY It s neat, clean, and has a pleasant taste!!
For me, the best Korean restaurant in Langley
Good food, good price, nice ambient, friendly staff. Wanna come back to try out different dishes. Banchan potatoes is a bit sweet for me as a non Korean. But other than that yum!
The beef rice and four small plates of side dishes are delicious and the portion is sufficient. But the seafood udon is very thin and very thin~
As my wife said this is the place you can find authentic korean food at a decent price. always my best choice of to treat friends and family.
it is delicious!! It s the best Korean food I ve had in Canada It is well sealed and packaged It s delicious even when packaged! The staff are also friendly
The food was so good that the marinated shrimp was being taken before the picture. Definitely recommend number 16 and 17 on the menu. We came from Richmond and only wish the drive wasn t so far or we would go all the time.
I had the Bulgogi Beef. So Good. I came in at 7:45pm on a Sunday and had to wait for a table. Only 5 minutes. Then I was only Caucasian in Restaurant. I knew it was going to be Great! Metal Chapsticks were a challenge.
This is my go to place when I m missing Seoul.
Fantastic place for good Korean food. Good value and great quality food! Love it and will definitely be back
Good service, good environment and good value for money. Authentic Korean dishes
Every dish is different taste!! If you it here you ll find out!!!!
I have been wanting to branch out on my Korean cuisine for a while, and choose Woorinara. I havent been anywhere else yet, lol. But I have been back here about 6 times now. Its SO GOOD! You get a lot of food for your money. It all tastes so good; I finish every single little dish. And the staff are just so kind and wonderful. Vegetarian options: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.
We ordered Korean style Dinner. Delicious & good serving. Mid. Economy price. Food : 4/5 |
We ordered Korean traditional Dinner Very Fresh & Delicious. Price is mid-level economy. Food : 5/5
The food was amazing, we loved trying all the side dishes. The service was good and fast. It was a cozy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere!
Great place! Many options available (spicy, non-spicy options, available) and great presentation! Parking was a bit hard but found out there are some parking spots available at the back of the building (kinda hidden) Would go again!
We visited Langley from Vancouver, and we can say Woorinara is definitely ranked in our Top 3 Korean restaurant! Amazing fried chicken, and the seafood soup and pork combo is just outstanding the soup is not too spicy at all, their side dish is yummy too, I personally love their sweet potatoes
Cozy environment, tasty food, warm service. What else can I ask for. Parking: Parking is located by and after passing the restaurant alongside the street Food : 5/5 |
Rude employees.
The part-time worker has good sense at work. I enjoyed it.
My family loves the food of this restaurant. The food is good, and I know that most Korean restaurants are somewhat westernized, but i would say that you can eat something close to traditional Korean food here. We visited a few times and tried different foods every time, none of which were disappointing (but the seafood pancakes didnt meet my expectations) One of my friends who lives in Maple Ridge asked me for a delicious Korean restaurant, and my recommendation was Woorinara Its my familys favorite Korean restaurant, so we go there often. The food is generally satisfactory, but theres one thing thats disappointing. Its not unfriendly, but I dont feel like Im welcome... If you smile and greet me warmly when I enter the restaurant, Ill feel a little warmer and more friendly, so I think Ill go there more than once. That doesn t mean it s unfriendly A local who likes Asian food asked me to recommend a Korean restaurant, so I recommended a Korean restaurant
Good food
The side dishes are clean and delicious, but the quality of customer service seems to have deteriorated a lot recently.
As expected, this is a great Korean soup restaurant! The spicy stir-fried pork is also excellent
You need to present your vaccine proof like anywhere else. Food is great, stuff are friendly. :) Worth a visit & try.
Not my type of Korean food. Their seafoods pancake a little bit too thick than I expect. Not crispy. And the soup taste like overnight leftovers. According to price and food quality, I will only give this restaurant 3.5 stars. (But google can t give half stars so 3)
Used to be a pretty decent place but over the last little while their service and taste have been going downhill. I understand due to the pandemic things have been hard but that doesn t excuse poor customer service. The waitress was rude and pretty sarcastic not friendly at all and owner too busy making up excuses. We ordered takeout and noticed that there wasn t enough soup for the noodles. It wasn t a noodle soup hardly any soup to cal it a soup. Taste is going down hill. My guess is that since business isn t doing as well they are saving in the ingredients. Sad but I suppose that s reality. As much as I d like to support local small businesses I wouldn t want to waste my money on these people.
The food is soooooo good. Will come back for sure.
I heard such good things, and I decided to give this place a try. Never coming back again. Waitress was rude and obnoxious and got annoyed when we asked for some water or other drinks. Food was decent enough but bland not worth the price. Never coming back again.
Good food. Good Service.
Second time here and loved the food. Very authentic Korean food.
Tried on recommendation and was not disappointed. Small restaurant but COVID protocols are followed and we didnt have to wait even though it was busy. Ordered 4 dishes to share, all were good. Their sweet and sour pork is delicious! Not the typical Chinese red S&S sauce, this is much better. That dish wasnt cheap but overall the bill was quite reasonable. Well go back again.
Good food but I asked for extra sides and they said no. Poor service also.
Tried shrimp and octopus dishes, and both are very delicious. Yummy side dishes as well!!
This is my favourite traditional korean restaurant in Langley. They have my spicy pork bone soup and a bunch of other popular dishes. The service is very nice, the prices are decent and its a cozy place.
Food experience and quality is consistently great since opening. Very kind staff. Their woorinara soup is one of a kind, and have yet to see any alternative out there.
It seems like all the food is prepared with great care! This is my 5th time going now and its always delicious every time I go
Love the hot pot and their side dishes are delicious.
A taste of the Hyundai Department Store food court
exorcism
A quick and easy fix for anyone who craves Korean food!
Side dishes are pretty tasty. Love the potato one! Pork soup is not so salty for me. Just wait too long to get seated.
Authentic, tasty, excellent service, and cleanliness. Love this place. Should park nearby mall. Recommend.
Very little protein in each dish. Noodles only had two tiny pieces of meat. Quite oily also. Overall, not worth the price
Excellent value for such delicious food! I had the soy sauce shrimp meal and loved it! My partner had the spicy pork meal. Quick service and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend if you love Korean food!
Bad service
Wonderful experience we had here. Everything was great. The server was polite and friendly and tried to teach me how to pronounce seafood pancake in Korean language. The meals were amazing, fresh and tasty, comes with four side dishes and free refills. The seafood pancake was so crispy and tasty, plenty of ingredients inside. I would love to try any soup meal next time. But my favourite meal is still pork ghalbi meal (14.95$) so tasty and marinated well xD
Nice to try Korean dishes, small restaurant but clean and quiet.
Locally owned. Soon tofu jigae. Great prices. Delicious. Expedient output. I look forward to checking out the other items on their menu.
It is a tiny, but cozy. I really like the atmosphere. The food is delicious
Very friendly and delicious
Excellent food, everything was delicious
The food is really good and so happy there s a Korean restaurant in Langley. We will be back for sure.
I was glad to be able to enjoy delicious Korean food in Canada. Ive been to Langley three times, but Im sad that Ive finally found it. Ill visit again next time I come.
Bossam set meal is so delicious. All the side dishes that came with the aged kimchi were delicious.
Great food, authentic Korean, must go for Korean food lovers
Always good to be here
Their take out is simply the best!! The dont skimp on the side dishes and theyre so well packed. Air tight in individual containers with a great variety. Their entrees are also delicious. I love getting their hot pots, especially the dwenjang jigae!
Our meal was excellent. I enjoyed the pork and accompanying small dishes. All items were cooked and presented expertly. The service was attentive and very polite. All this in a very clean and well maintained restaurant. I have no complaints and no suggestions for improvement. A solid choice for Korean fare.
Bulgogi Beef was average, the flavour was uninspiring. The beef couldve spent some time marinating, felt like it was missing the fire. The sides were okay: kimchi, bean sprouts, fish cakes with hot dog, and miso soup. The kimchi pancakes were good. I like that there are bottomless sides so you can always get more of your favourites. Unfortunately, some of my favourite korean sides were not being served such as pickled radish or potatoes. The restaurant was also quite busy so it took awhile to get the food. Right as we were getting served the waitress informed us that they ran out of black bean so they had to reorder and their food didnt come until everyone else was done eating.
We enjoyed this place . It s small and cozy. Very clean. The price is very reasonable. Service is excellent, as always.
Proper Korean food quality. The staff was also friendly.
every time we visited lanley pr even surrey, we definitely went to tbis restaurant.
Excellent food. First time, bulgogi was fantastic;
I appreciate the cleanliness of everything and the food is one of the best in Lower main land. I wish I was closer to me
Ordered through delivery. Food was just awful. I was so shocked when I opened the bag. Never again.
Yesterday was my My first time to eat here. The food were good:Jajangmyeon, pork galbi meal and banchan. Too bad, I haven t tried their mul naeng myon yet.. The place is small but has a nice ambience.
This is an affordable Korean restaurant. There are a lot of side dishes in its set meal, and the taste is also very good. We often drive from burnaby to eat. Love the food and environment here
Friendly place, delicious place
The portion for two were HUGE and the quality of their food was amazing! One of the best Authentic KBBQ places in BC in my list and I ve been to many. A little on the pricey side but the quality makes up for it. The only downside is the waiting time, had to wait around 30 minutes for a table of two but that was our fault for not booking ahead of time. The soju paired perfectly with the heartwarming soup and the side dishes were nicely portioned. Great for family settings and young adults.
The taste is much better than a few years ago.. I love it.
Very good food. The ox tail soup is very warming.
Its a bit expensive, but its delicious.
The qualilty of the food and services is top notch
Very good and all around meal.
Amazing dining and customer service.
Authentic Korean food priced well. I always eat too much because everything taste so good. Been here often and never disappoints.
Food is delicious, seafood pancake, kimchi fried rice and LA Galbi are a must try.
Definitely my go-to restaurant! Gukbab and bulgogi/galbi the best!
Really tasty soup!! Will definitely come back to try other menu items such as their Woorinara Hot Pot!
very busy but great place to eat korean food. parking on the street for a bit of a walk. service was excellent.
Was not able to take a photo but this is one of the best Korean food i had here in BC or even in Canada. Seaweed soup and not miso soup that is really good. Side dishes are great. I had the bosssam meal and seafood pancake. Will go back again for the Sam gyup meal.
A few days ago, after eating tripe casserole and octopus set meal, I vomited and had diarrhea for two or three days. The food was undercooked, so even though we asked for it to be cooked more, 2 people got food poisoning. I hope you will pay special attention to your food from now on.
The food was super authentic, most of the dishes are served with 4 sides, rice and soup. We tried the beef soup and marinated pork! It was perfectly cooked, and flavourful. The staff was very understanding as well! It s a small cozy restaurant for authentic korean food! Will definitely come again Due to COVID, there are shields between each table, allows you space to enjoy your food.
IF I COULD GIVE 0 STAR, I WOULD !!!!!
