Authentic Soft Mexican Tacos
Incredibly delicious and authentic tacos. Definitely recommended 💯
Tasty tacos and friendly staff. For first-timers, I recommend ordering sides with your tacos—it really enhances the experience. I only wish they served Al Pastor during the weekdays as well. Overall, a solid choice for tacos.
Stopped by for a quick bite after workout. The flavors and ambience took me back to the streets of Mexico (Mentally!). The lady at the counter was super friendly, was prompt to suggest vegan options, and also gave recommendations. I'm glad I stuck with those. I'll be a regular going forward. The only critique - They don't have a water station or offer water in a glass to their customers. I avoid pop, so it sucks that I have to buy one to quench my thirst while dining in.
We absolutely love the tacos here!! Has become a regular stop for us when we are in Langley. My husband is from San Diego and grew up eating Mexican food. He’s definitely found his little piece of home. He says the Jamaica is the best he’s ever had. All the tacos taste so fresh and flavourful, both the meat and veggie options. The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is very clean.
The tacos here are amazing! We went at a busy time of day, the front area was a little congested but well worth the wait for the food.
Small portions, these are 4" tacos instead of the more normal 6". The flavors were bland. The service was quick and friendly. The guacamole is store bought cream.
Great taco place in Langley! OK, I'll be honest. I'll say I had better tacos before but this place is clean, folks are nice. I think they could add more cilantro & limes on their sides because they didn't seem enough but tacos (we tried beef, pork, fish) were all nice Their guacamole was a bit different from my expectation as it came out well-blended sauce like (perhaps their guacamole is authentic version in their hometown?) We prefer their amazing meat based (port & beef) tacos over fish ones and will continue to try rest of them. Plenty of sittings, clean restaurant, interesting music (haha)
Nice little place to try the tacos. Tacos were nice and just the right size that I like. Taste was good, good service, great prices. Would definitely recommend if you were looking for a Taco place …
I mobile ordered from Tacoholic so my girl could try it and I was extremely disappointed when we both had to spit out the fish taco because it had a sour/moldy taste. That is beyond unacceptable. No item in my order should be inedible but the fish must have been so so old and they tried to cover it up with spices but it didn t work. I would describe the fish as rancid. The churros I thought were okay, but my girl gave feedback they were overcooked. Would not order from here again, plus it was pretty expensive just for 5 tacos, chips and guacamole, and churros. I am disappointed. I don t know if it is a management change but the tacos and food here used to be a different caliber.
Amazing. Portion, presentation, and flavor - all on point !
Tacos are very small, chicken tacos were very smelly we couldn t eat them. Staff were friendly and nice. I Food : 1/5
Such a cute shop with amazing food! The Al Pastor is so delicious
Amazing food and great customer service! Whenever my wife and I want to go out to eat, we have a difficult time picking any place but tacoholic!!
Great food, and great recommendation from the staff. Overall enjoyed my tacos!
Nice little place, I just found the food to be underwhelming, lacking in size and flavour.
Just had lunch here, the food was acceptable the quality was fine the portions were small, you know that because it says on the menu small street tacos, that typically means small street tacos so that was in line. As other commenters have mentioned, they only sell bottled water, and likely, this is to make a dollar or so. I get it small businesses are having a tough time but in this case there was nothing wrong with the food and all the portions were much smaller than they should have been when it came to the portion of rice or Im sure the soup or salad which I didnt get, Im sure Those portions would have been tiny as well. I want to wash my hands in what seems to be the only washroom in the building, and I ran the water for 10 minutes waiting for warm water, which never came. Im not sure how the staff can wash their hands properly using cold water, but the staff washroom is the same as the public washroom, and there is no hot water. After eating I went up to the counter and asked if I could speak to the owner or the boss and I was told specifically to leave the restaurant by the youngest person in the building who was a young lady. You can tell she literally had no customer service interest of any kind whatsoever. I certainly would have given it another try. For those of you who know my posts, you know Im not a difficult customer. However, things need to be proper. I will be sure to communicate with the Health Board, and Im offering the opportunity for the owner to reach out to me so I dont have to communicate with them. Im not an influencer, I dont need to be an influencer, and I never suggested I was an influencer. This is an update to my initial review. I would just like to respond by saying that clearly this is not the little girl that I was talking to at the counter although she seemed to think she was in charge and maybe she is the owner but when I asked her for the owner or the boss she said please leave, that was my only interaction with her other than ordering the food and paying for it, I did not complain I did not say there was anything wrong with the food even in my review. I also did not say the food was too expensive, I did say the portions were small, and thats not a surprise because it mentioned it on the menu. I didnt complain about it. I just mentioned it. With regard to me being a small business, I am a small business, and you might know that if you had seen my truck and trailer in the rear of your restaurant. My words did not give you a restaurant a bad review. Your response is creating your bad review. As for being an immigrant, I have no idea if youre an immigrant or not as Ive never met you, and all I know is that your restaurant serves Mexican food. Between you and marking on my thoughts about your restaurants and the way I was treated by your staff is what is creating the bad review. I do look forward to your follow-up reply.
Sour cream and sauce was water... portion was so small . The melted cheese was just grated cheese. But it did taste good I had a cheese quesadilla.....Extremely disgusting bites the sour cream was water and way off way way way sour and gross
The best tacos in BC
Soooo good. Expanded menu since we were last there.
Getting too expensive! I used to love coming here but it s 4$ a taco.. there is also no available water for customers unless you wanna buy it. wow.
I loved it. Ate facing the artistic wall with Spanish music playing. You almost forget youre in Langley. Swear I could eat the mexican rice all day
So yummy oh my god, idk what they put in their tortillas but they are magical and the workers are so nice! Not too busy, I wish I could eat this everyday
Great authentic tacos. All the different flavours/meats available are incredible. The tacos are small so you order a few with different proteins. Food is great, restaurant is clean and staff are always friendly. Best tacos around by far!
Always soo good!!
Honestly the veggie tacos could make me eat vegetarian at least one meal a week and I m a protein with every meal kind of guy.
Best tacos in Langley, possibly the lower mainland!
Vegetarian options: The veg options are soooooo delicious. Im not vegetarian, but I only order the veg tacos when I go now. Food
Awesome street tacos. No hesitation going back again in the future.
It was a good experience, especially Al pastor(traditionally marinated porks). I think the price in contrast with the portion is a little bit high.
The tacos were delicious. Perfectly seasoned. The sauces were also delicious. I got here 10 minutes before closing and they were more than willing to make me and my girl friend 4 tacos before they closed. In my opinion, hands down, the best authentic tacos I ve ever had.
Great tacos. Recently tried the combo with 6 tacos and rice + refried beans. Super tiny serving sizes and really disappointing. Just plain rice too. The rice and refried beans were also cold. We will keep coming back for the tacos but wont be ordering the combos...
The service was so disappointing. I will never go back. NEVER! Tacos were ok. Nothing special
So delicious and fresh. The refried beans were so good. We got a trio of vegan tacos and the poblano peppers were my favourite. The staff was very friendly. And honestly the bathroom was very clean. Which speaks to the cleanliness of the whole place, in my opinion. Im already dreaming of going back again.
Very nice place friendly service great food.
Last time we went which was a while ago, the food was so awesome! Loved the Mexican sodas (limes my favourite) and the tácitos were UGH SO AMAZING! Come here and get lots of tacos because one is simply NOT enough! Has become super pricy, but at least it tastes good.
Delicious vegan options! I also got two meat tacos for my husband and he loved his as well.
I like the place
Awesome.
Food is good and fresh, service was good, atmosphere is nothing special but its clean. Tacos were excellent.
Tacos carnitas were amazing. Horchata was perfect. Rice and beans done exactly like in Mexico. I loved this place and thank god they sell Horchata by the litre.
So good. Authentic street style tacos
The portions are very small for what you pay. Food was okay but not going to go back as for what you pay and what you get is not worth it.. Food
Asada was incredibly tasty, great taco selection and the churros were amazing.
Food
Authentic tacos. Some of the best carne asada tacos in the lower mainland. Horchata is excellent and fairly priced. Churros are FRESHLY made and delicious. Been coming here often since finding it. So good!
If you like authentic Mexican street food. I recommend a glass of horchata ( I can t of spelt that right) and the polle en molle (again spelling). But they don t serve it any more. So try any thing. Try everything. Price is so low if you leave hungry that s your fault Parking: It s a strip mall.
Awesome tacos and staff! I really enjoy coming here for a quick bite, always hits the spot. Don t forget to ask for extra guac, love that stuff! Recommended dishes Tacos De Carnitas and Agua De Horchata, Vegetarian Taco, Al Pastor, Guacamole
Amazing authentic food, all home made, cannot get any better
Fresh and delicious, and made by very sweet staffers. Recently found this place, and enjoyed a variety of both meat and vegetarian tacos and salsa. Already planning our next visit. Highly recommended for great food and good prices. Vegetarian options: 3 delicious choices - so good :) Parking: park right out front
BEST TACOS EVER! So cheap but delicious, my favoruite cheap date-night, with incredible service.
Its a simple, no frills shop, but we cane for Tacos, and they were quite good. Definitely worth the visit.
Best tacos in all of Langley! Also, they are made super fresh and for a great price!!
Such authentic flavours! Weve been here several times and always loved our food. Its the one Mexican food restaurant that we recommend to others who are looking to try real Mexican flavours. Great prices, too.
Great taco place. They really keep an eye on quality and flavor. Love it! The variety of salsas they have is amazing
Just finished our lunch and couldnt be more disappointed. The tacos were ok, but bland/super basic. The nachos with no meat were $13.50 and dreadful. So salty, almost no cheese past the top layer and what there was underneath wasnt melted at all. Most of the cheese was in a blob in the middle or stuck to the paper along the sides. We ate it because at that price, not leaving it. Tbh, weve had better nachos at dive bars. We love supporting small and local businesses, but even taking into account the increased cost of ingredients, this was not worth it. Also, we asked for a glass of tap water for our kid and they said no they dont do that. As she stood in front of a tap...in a kitchen area certified to provide food...very odd.
Been there twice in the last month. First time with a work friend and second time with my kids, all of us really enjoyed it.
My wife and I tried Tacoholic tonight for dinner for the first time, and it was amazing! I m pretty picky when it comes to any food, and there s been multiple Mexican restaurants around that I didn t love - But not Tacoholic! The staff were very friendly, great food assortment, small dine-in area, and quick. I would definitely recommend them, and can t wait to go back!
Authentic and well made. Dietary restrictions: You can ask for anything. Parking: Parking right out front. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
One of my fav places for veggie tacos! Sooo good! Defs get a side of pico but they re great with the green sauce too
Good spot for lunch if youre missing Mexico. We would come back and recommend others to visit.
I enjoyed my meal, nice presentation and great flavors. I will visit again to try other options. I had the fish and steak tacos
Awesome tacos! Great flavour, really nice heat level on the salsas, the Pico was delicious and added a nice light acidity. The tacos were a little small for my liking but worth every penny. I drfinitely could have eaten ten of those haha. The atmosphere had me feeling like I was in Mexico. The music had me dancing while I ate. All in all, a great choice for authentic tacos!! gracias por la comida increíble
Good traditional tacos
Been to this place a couple of times now and love it. The Pescado and Al Pastor are the best. The salsa and chips are fresh and delicious. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and they keep the resto very clean and organized. Will keep coming back thats for sure :)
Hidden gem in Langley. Delicious food, clean place, great prices. Definitely going back for more yummy tacos.
Authentic delicious Mexican tacos. Affordable price and good portions. Parking available. Really good service and family owned.
Delicious and authentic Mexican food! Highly recommend!
For the money spent the portions where so small the tacos where extremely dry
Best tacos in Langley and possibly lower mainland. Very authentic and they dont skimp out with fillings. One of my favorites spots in Langley
Food is amazing and very friendly staff.
The Tinga de Rey-#5 and pescado-#9 are delicious we re definitely coming back when we re in town.
Simple and plain..... This place closes too early, Does not operate in normal restaurant hours.
Great tacos they served here. The flavour was on point and the meat was nicely cooked. In addition, the sauces they served on the side pairs with the dish perfectly.
The best tacos I had since I visited Mexico years ago!!! I recommend.
Totally love Tacoholic. For a while I went there too many times a week, now Im down to few times a month. They added a fish taco witch is great. My favorite is their El Pastor, which is only available on the weekends. Not a fan of the pork belly taco, but thats just me. All in all, best mexican street style tacos around!
These tacos are very good, but whats even better is their salsas/hot sauces. We had the salsa Verde (mild green) hot and extra hot - each was full of flavor and so fresh! We had el pastor, carnitas, rojos con crema (poblano pepper + corn) and calabazitas (zucchini) and all were very good. Extra delicious because the veggies were super smokey, which requires slow roasting to perfect charred deliciousness. Its a small quirky spot with wooden tables and chairs, so not the most accessible or comfy... but youll scarf down the tacos in about 3 mins theyre so yummy... so the seating doesnt matter too much! Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos are delicious and full of flavor. So smokey.
Found this little gem and I was pleasantly surprised! From the moment we walked on, the lady greeted us with a huge, sincere smile. The menu on the wall is clear and bright. Various tables filled the small and quaint place. Mexican paintings on the wall and some framed on the bright wall. Music was good, however my taste would be more traditional. So many choices to choose from! Tacos, that s its, that s what grabbed our attention Carnitas, Pinga, Carne Asada, Frijoles . my mouth was watering already. Other items that I scanned through, nachos and quesadillas Mexican pop, Jarritos! Various flavours. The lady took our order amd I chose 3 Carnitas tacos. My friend chose 4 of various fillings. They looked amazing topped with onions and cilantro. The small tortillas were doubled up and the fillings were abundant! I ended up with six tacos!!! So tasty, delicious paired up with the mild green salsa and spicy red salsa. Tacos! That s it, simple. Paired with a grapefruit Jarrito, it was perfect!! We will definitely come back! Vegetarian options: Yes, check out the menu Parking: This restaurant is n a strip mall, and I did not have a hard time finding parking. Kid-friendliness: Yes!! Menu has kid friendly food. Relaxed atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility: Roomy enough and accessible, I am sure a table or two could be moved.
I love love eating at this place. Their food feels so homemade. Tacos are cheap. Best selection I ve been coming here since first month they opened. A lot of things have changed inside the store (wall painting, menu on digital tv + privacy wall in the kitchen :) Keep all the good tacos Tacoholic :)
Best tacos I ve had in the lower mainland! I stopped in here 20 minutes before closing and the staff were so sweet assuring me that it was still okay to sit and order. I m so glad I came in because I have not had tacos that tasted this authentic since visiting Mexico. The ingredients were fresh and delicious and seasoned to perfection. I will be making the trek over here from Vancouver as often as I can!
The best little taco shop around! Authentic atmosphere and phenomenal food! We love popping in here for a bite to eat!
These are the real deal tacois so please give these a try .we have them for lunch regularly and are great
The tacos here are absolutely fantastic. The size of the tacos is a bit on the smaller size but the price reflects that (which means you get to try more flavours). The chips are fresh and crispy, and the pico is delicious as well. The horchata is perfectly flavoured to help cool your mouth after eating the delicious salsas that you put on your tacos. Definitely visit this place for amazing tacos.
So fresh, so good!
Now, this place isnt fancy, but if you like true street tacos man oh man are they good
A great place for some excellent Mexican food.
These were definitely the best tacos I ve had in a long time. They were so quick and prompt and the staff was so friendly. The drinks were delicious and definitely worth a try. Highly recommend for those who love Mexican food especially tacos, quesadillas etc. We will be definitely going back and have found a new favourite place in langley for tacos:)
Not bad but not great either. Cheap tacos...expensive condiments
Best Mexican food in the entire lower mainland. Moved here from Southern California and this is the *only* place in the entire Vancouver area that compares.
This is an awesome little shop...great tacos and great prices. First time in and definitely will be back!!! Dietary restrictions: good vegetarian options
Our go to taco place in langley. Their tacos are always good and very affordable prices for so much filling they put in there. Very friendly staff as well. Would recommend if youre craving for tacos ! Food : 5/5
Dont go if you are hungry. First time there and ordered two tacos thinking it would be enough but they are the smallest tacos two for $12 and have to add on everything for a separate charge. Better off going to BarBurrito down the street where you can build your own tacos and everything is included. Wont be going back
Great tacos and quesadillas. The churros are not really good or worth the money. The atmosphere is very simple. The service is almost non existent as you order and then pick up yourself.
The food is great. Smaller portions but it is supposed to be more street food. Everything we tried we loved. The communication can be worked on and the atmosphere is tough being a smaller store and the ordering area is right infront of the door
Excellent food
Some of the best tacos going!
Best Tacos in the lower mainland hands down.
We tried this place for dinner a couple nights ago, and it was alright. I got the salsa and chips. The salsa and chips tasted great but I think they need more salsa for the amount of chips they give. My husband said he liked the tacos enough to return - great! I didnt like the churros as much as I would have if they werent so greasy, but the chocolate sauce was good.
Went here close to closing and got a couple tacos with a small side of Pico and jalapenos. The tacos are authentic and delicious. The best youll find anywhere in Langley. I came a little late so I couldnt get the al pastor tacos but I got the carnitas, fish and chicaron.
Authentic, fresh, delicious tacos! Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! My kids loved everything as well. Prices are great too!
Tacoholic is one of the better taco places I have been to in the lower mainland.
True home made tacos! Great place too eat!
Just went to this restaurant for the first time, and the tacos were amazing. Really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. If you are looking for authentic Mexican tacos, this is the place to check out!
Mmmm best tacos in town! Get the Tacos al pastor on the weekends!
Great food quick service, low prices, 30$ fed 3.
Small tacos for about $3.50 each. They are so delicious. Super nice people but I had a hard time hearing them behind the Plexiglas. I would recommend this place. Had take out. A must try experience and a hidden gem.
The best taco here is the one with pineapple. That one is a 5/5 for sure. Unfortunately, I ordered the beef sausage and it was just cut up hot dogs, which sadly really soured my experience with this cute little restaurant. I could hardly believe it when I got it. I havent been back since. If youre gonna serve hot dog tacos, tell people theyre getting hot dog tacos. Edit to reply: I appreciate the response! Unfortunately yes, this is where I got the hot dog taco, which was called beef sausage. Another reviewer (CC) had the same experience.
The best taco shop in Langley! Great food, service and atmosphere :) I often call ahead to order for my lunch break and their pickup service is super convenient. I love their vegetarian options!! Vegetarian options: Raja con crema tacos Calabacita tacos
So yummy and amazing tacos
Always love Tacoholic. Go on the weekends for their Al Pastor, the best!
The most delicious and authentic tacos in Langey!! Food
My husband and I have never been here, so we were asking the lady at the front what she recommended, and how to order, etc., and it was super busy, but she didnt make us feel like an inconvenience with all our questions. So, she was really great. The food is absolutely fresh and amazing We are from 8+ hours away, but we will definitely be back here. We frequent the area, so now we found a tasty, hidden gem
Food was good. I tried the al pastor which is only available on weekends. The steak taco was not what I expected... it was more like ground beef.
People should know before they go that these are not north American sized tacos; they are 2-bite tacos, which start at 3.75 each and go up to 4.50 each. 5 tacos without sides or drinks cost me $22 and gave me a total of 13 bites of food, and left me half full. This is not a good value! while the taste, quality, ambience of the store and are ok, they do not match what you are charging. My recommendation to the owners is please make tacos to the size average North American would expect ( 5 bites each ) rather than 2. Your restaurant is fast casual not fine dining, so please find a way edit your menu offerings to create better value that matches your location/dining experience, so that $18-$22 is enough to purchase enough food to fill the average adult. (think 25-35 bites)
Absolutely the best authentic tacos around!! I live in Maple Ridge and will drive to Lanlgey when I crave them, because i know its always consistent and made just like I was in Mexico .
Get there early. Cause sometimes they sell out
So Delicious real Mexican tacos! With a great staff
Absolutely amazing food. I will most certainly be back! Al pastor tacos are the bomb!
Good flavor, fresh and polite service.
Day 1 customer! We walked in these doors when they first opened. I think it s time to pay this place its dues! My top picks that have kept me coming to this place for years. 1 nachos with everything add beef, 2 chicharron, 2 chorizo con papa, 1 frijoles, 1 asada. Salsas are made in house and the flavours are authentic. Healthy and clean food. Keep it up and I ll keep on coming!!! Vegetarian options: Wife was really happy with her option!!! Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome! Four of us with 2 girls and 1 can talk, lol. Great ambient Mexican music for kids to speak freely.
First time there and I was not disappointed. So much flavor in the food and the prices are good too. I will definitely be going back.
Parking: Great tacos, felt like grandmas taco Food
My favorite restaurant in Langley
I shouldnt start a review with this but here goes. I dont, in general, like Mexican food. BUT I have eaten at many local taco shops/Mexican restaurants and Tacoholic has the best flavoured meats of any restaurant in the area. They are so good Im now regularly going there despite not being the biggest fan of Mexican food. Three times in one week in fact! Thanks for bringing me around on tacos!
My partner brought me home some tacos from here. I have never had this type of food before, let alone ordered tacos from a resteraunt. It was sooooooo good. I could eat 50 of them. Definitely excited to come back and have more! Yum
Fish taco was nasty, chicken taco totally bland, wont be going back.
So delicious
A Must Try. Great food and friendly atmosphere with vegetarian friendly options.
Terrible, terrible place. I ordered 2 tacos and my friend ordered Quesedila. We paid almost $30. I got two sample sized tacos, the size of oreo cookies. There was nothing much on it: the shadow of beef and few molecules of cilantro. I asked for pico delivery gayo and I was told I have to buy those, which come in containers the size of a walnut. They wont serve a cup of water either. Even the sour cream was mixed with water. Service is poor and slow and completely aloof. Not clean either.
The Best Tacos!! Tacoholics tacos are the best tacos at the best price! We love going and getting the carnitas, and asada tacos. Agua de Jamaica is spot on and we got the 1L size. I love how many options for tacos there are and its a must try. However, the other areas of thier menu can be passed up on. The chips and salsa portions are quite meager, and the flavours are not really there. The chips are quite oily and lack salt and the salsa is very very tiny. Also, the churros were a miss for us. The dough was oily and limp after frying and the sauce was nesquick chocolate syrup. And the last time we went, they could not provide water when asked and suggested we pay for one of thier bottled waters. Take my advice and just go for the tacos! Accessibility Parking is available right infront of the shop and there is ramp for wheelchairs. No automatic door and the ordering window maybe a bit high. Large washroom. Parking is free. Covid screen is up at ordering table and dine in is available but self serve.
I will probably update with photos the next time I eat here. The inside is small and open layout. You can see right into the kitchen where they prepare the tacos for you. The menu is up on the wall, as you walk in, so you can peruse for what you want. If youre ordering to go, they give you a buzzer that goes off when your order is ready, otherwise you CAN call ahead and place an order for pick up. The tacos are small and when I say that, I mean, smaller than you would find in a taco kit from superstore. HOWEVER, the fillings are amazing. And on Saturdays and Sundays you can get a taco with pineapple on it as well, that is their weekend special taco. I have come to this taco place several times and will return again in the future. I usually order 6-9 tacos and its the perfect size. (I am someone who cannot stand the taste of cilantro, but they do not smother their tacos in it, which is fantastic!) Thank you for serving me! Ill see you in the future!
Went here on Saturday and I was so pleased with the food. This will definitely be a regular spot for us to eat. I would like to bring to the the hiring managers attention what an amazing job you have done! The 2 ladies working on Saturday June 11 were helpful and lovely! We need more people like this in customer service.
Delicious - great choices
I came inside to order and when asking the lady at the front for a nutrition menu or if she knew the carb count for the tortilla . As my kid is diabetic and he was near a lower range she answered the phone and said sorry I m really busy. I said your too busy to answer my question she said yea and continued her call. In customer service you first handle the customers inside your dealing with then answer your phone or put the call on hold. Wow RUDE !!!! Will not be back and fyi food was horrible !!!!!!!
Really good tacos! Love the Nachos!
Been here twice now and also had lunch there today. The best tacos I have ever had and the beef is so flavourful and melts right in your mouth. The service is super fast and the salsa verde is to die for. Super cheap and affordable and the staff is just so kind. Forever coming here for taco Tuesday
It was my first time visiting. The smells awaiting you inside are enough to make you hungry! My husband and I had the three veggie options as well as shared nachos. So delicious! Im already trying to plan out my next visit here.
Tacos are inexpensive but unfortunately they were disappointing for me. The ladies working were very nice and the ambiance was ok. I had al pastor tacos which were decent, the chicarron was NOT what I expected. Maybe I misunderstood the description but I am not interested in eating gooey, fatty, mushy pig skin tacos, so thats my mistake. The fish taco was a rectangle of dry fish, it was not good. Was almost like eating cardboard. My partner liked the pulled pork and Carne tacos, said they were quite good. Chips are made in house, so very tasty. Pico portions are small (which I expected from the reviews I read). Would be nice to have some Valentina on tables. I, personally, will not go back. Tacos at Sal y Limón are far superior and the same price, they have more salsa variety as well.
Fresh, delicious and affordable!! We love it here ¨
Horrible food. Dont sub green olives for black olives.
The food is good but the quantity is not worth the price. And they charge $2 for water. You shouldn t be charged for water if you re dining in, IMO
Tacos nom nom nom
Memories of four years in college...
It is what it is. Words spoken across the table to break the silence of culinary disappointment. Dry carnitas, guacamole with the texture of yogurt, overly salty/mushy chicharron, no tap water and no joy to be had while consuming these dishes. Saved from a 2 star by a great soundtrack. Will not be back. You can do better.
Crazy good tacos! Very close to authentic especially on weekends when they serve tacos El Pastore
Neat little taco shop. Lots of taco choices, but the tacos are small. Great tasting though.
For starters, Langley just doesnt always have the best diversified options when it comes to cuisines. Sure, we have a few Mexican places, but even those are North Americanized to some extent. Tacoholic, however, while perhaps not 1000% authentic, does have some pretty great options for people in search of a quick biet of some decent tacos. The downside to Tacoholic is that they seem to often be out of the things my friends and I are wanting to order when we go. On a weekend, they may run out of your favorite agua fresca or type of taco. And lets not even try to order churros because in all the time Ive gone, Ive only managed to order them once due to their availability (or lack thereof). However, in a pinch, these tacos are sure to remind you what real tacos are supposed to be like and theyre staff are usually very friendly and kind. I definitely recommend checking them out, but beware that some options may run out.
Best tacos in Langley. Real tacos al pastor on weekends. Those reviewers that say this isnt real Mexican food have no clue. Whatever the first had for tacos wasnt. Of all the taco places in the Lower Mainland, this is the most authentic.
The best tacos! Only complaint is they seem to often not have things on the menu available
Dont let the storefront deter you! This place is a gem. The meat on these tacos is melt in your mouth wonderful! The customer service is excellent and the ambience is quite fun. The server was knowledgeable about gluten free options. Enjoy!
Fabulous food and really friendly staff! Will definitely be back
Fresh and juicy and full of flavour ! Enjoyed
Tacoholic is good restaurants they have really good food and I really recommend
Asada tacos are bomb. There are a few veggie options that can be made Vegan. I really enjoy the guacamole. A few times I went it wasnt available.
Have been here a few times and found the food very tasty, and the staff accommodating. This time was a totally different experience. We both wanted tacos, but they said we could only order from half of the items posted. We asked if they could leave off the onions one of the tacos and were told no, that all the items are pre-made. So much for fresh food! We ended up ordering 2 tacos and one quesadilla, over $21. We only got 2 very small containers of salsa for both orders. When we asked for more, we were told $2.50 plus tax for another tiny container, or $4 plus tax for a bit larger one. What a rip-off! On top of it, the beans came in the same tiny thimble size container as the salsa.
A little Mexican gem , friendly staff, clean , you feel like you are in Mexico. Delicious tacos
Service was strange. Food was ok. Ordered from them 3 times,Portion size was a bit small for my taste. My most recent visit I dined in. Ordered 5 tacos and nacho. Nachos were cold and the beef on top was cold too. Tacos were bit soggy and not very good. Won t be back.
Came in to order food for 3, waited an hour with a hungry toddler. Watched 7 orders come in, order and leave with their food before us. The woman at cash tried to tell me they were call ahead orders after I listened to them order at cash. Asked for a refund, had them argue with us about what we ordered/fail to find the order for a good 5 minutes. Not coming back again. Used to be great, not sure what happened.
Very friendly greeting the moment you walk in, menu has quite the selection for tacos. But the one that really caught my attention was the Asada (beef taco). Lots of flavour and love put into it, which makes it so much better. Would highly recommend eating here when you have a craving for tacos.
Great value
Best tacos around. Quasidillas done right
Love the tacos!!
Great place, good prices and good food
Hubby and I stopped in here today for a quick lunch and will definitely be back! Have been wanting to try it out for some time now and Im so glad we did. We each had one Al Pastor and one Asada taco and some Tortilla chips and Salsa. Everything was great and I cant wait to try some of their other options the next time were in the neighborhood!
Amazing food, very authentic. Friendly staff, clean environment. I would definitely recommend the Asada tacos
Terrible service, taco were terrible and they refused to replace them, had to get a refund but even that was a fight
Good taco
Food tasted okay but it was reeeeeeeally dry and required the hot sauce to moisten it up. The flavours were great, though, but too much cilantro. The refried beans are really expensive and really salty. The small is like 1/8th of a cup but they were okay. We tried four different tacos and they were all dry and the tortillas seemed to be flour but they had the texture of corn tortillas which was off-putting. The tortillas were not made in-house, and were from some sort of factory. I would come back to try them again if it werent for the tortillas that they use. We were disappointed but found a place down the street we will go to
Been going here for years. Food is amazing!
Authentic Mexican cuisine just like you were there. Seating is limited and the music volume could be lower. Food
We hadnt been for awhile. Still excellent tacos at a good price. Was busy so a bit of a wait for the meal but they advised us in advance.
Different in a good way.
Small place but good. Taco can be better, definitely is not a Mexican flavour.
Great food everytime!
Seriously delicious and simple tacos. Trans friendly!
