It’s a great place for a donair the last good spot in Langley! Small little shop with a ton of flavour I especially enjoy there lamb beef mix with there garlic sauce and hot sauce. These people know how to make a good donair and have great customer serve or and are always happy to greet you…….unlike that Hut place on the one way…. Make sure to check them out.
I ĺunderstand that "donair" is originally a Turkish idea adopted by Muslim countries like Lebanon. Creativity is a bliss. Too many options to list, but here I go. I don't understand why a regular lamb donair is $9 bucks and the "lebanese" variation (nothing different except for a few parsley leafs and two table spoons of humus) is close to $13. In any event I celebrate diversity and like I mentioned lines above, creativity. These guys have managed to reconcile eastern, arabic culture with Mexican "cuisine" and they offer hybrids (that probably work for the culturarely naked Canadian eye) such as "Mayan platters", that combine Mexican rice and guacamole with donair meats. :-) I highly recommend this place in any event.
Not a good value for the money. I used to come here a lot with my friend. It was nice to see that they did renovations. And the last time I ate here the food was very tasty the staff was very friendly and you got a lot for your money. This time I went and a new person was working that I didn't recognize. She was very friendly. And polite and got the order correct. However the food quality wasn't good at all. The hummus was as runny as tap water. She put in the smallest amount of rice I've ever seen and barely any chicken on top. The salad wasn't even to the top of the indent in the container. And to be honest the container looked much smaller than it used to look. Before the hummus was thick and you hot lots of it. They could barely close the lid you would get so much food. Now only a few bites and the food was gone and had to make more food a couple of hours later at home. Not a good deal for $15. When restaurants lower the quality and quantity of their food. They will lose business. They have lost mine now. I would let the owner know if they are reading this, it's better to serve a good portion at a good price then to be stingy and lose a customer. Remember when running a business it's easier to make one dollar from one million customers that to try and make one million dollars from one customer. Do better please.
Ordered from here recently on Uber Eats and the whole order was inedible. Generally some crispy chicken pieces are a given but this one was entirely bottom of the pan old tasting chicken pieces. Can barely see any white meat of the chicken, literally both pitas and the bowl were all filled with this. Incredibly disappointing.
Stopped in on a whim for a donair to go. When I mentioned it was my first time in and what I wanted, the friendly staff showed me the ingredients and made me a delicious chicken donair. It was fresh, tasty, and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!
This spot I like for the ground donair beef which is my usual to if I'm craving some. My only critique is this place does over sauce your dishes so you do have too ask for it to be lighter.
We ordered from here thinking it's similar to the Donair affair in Port Coquitlam (which has always been amazing). The worst donairs we've ever had, ever. It was soup in a pita bread. The soggiest wrap I've ever had. Half way in hoping it'll get better we decided to throw it in the compost bin. Maybe it was just an off day but at least grill the Donair so it's not like chicken noodle soup. When the paper turns into rice paper before you even open it, you know you regretted it.
The staff are always so friendly and take the time to know their customers! I order the fries with chicken more often then I should and love it. Their chicken donair is also another tasty option you don’t wanna miss out on. The store is clean, and the food is delicious! 10/10 recommend stopping in and trying their amazing food!

The person working did not know what a donair was. After asking for a donair and confirming several times, still received a platter and asked for bread and said it would be extra charge even though we asked for a donair multiple times.
I ordered extra chicken in my Donair and there was barely even a regular amount of chicken. No fork or napkins were supplied with my order either. I havent had these issues with the other locations, but this location is just simply bad.
Prices have increased a lot and the portions are way down. Barely any meat in a super sized Donair. Still tastes good though

So, I popped over to Donair Affair, hoping for a yummy, warm donair. Sad to say, I ended up with a cold pita, cold beef, and not a hint of grilling. Asked the lady about it and, yep, they dont grill anything. Not cool, right? Kind of a letdown for what should be a hot, delicious bite. Definitely didn t hit the spot for me, might be better to look elsewhere if youre craving a donair.

Good something quick on the go, but I do not like the false advertising of the rice place coming with the parsley and stuff on top, but if you ask for like shown on the board as included you get charged extra. They really shouldnt charge for something included in description.
One of the worst donair place i ever tried . I ordered chicken platter with rice paid almost 14 bucks . Chicken was uncooked not value for money . With all this i get HALF PITA BREAD. they literally cut a pita in half and give it to you .
Greek salad was mostly cucumbers, very Lil tomatoes n hardly no dressing and were the lettuce..gyro which was lamb was cold n wrap was so thin it broke in pieces 1st bite. I give them a 2 Food
Tried for the first time and based on the reviews. The service was great but unfortunately the lamb was dry and tasted old. Maybe one more try on a different day.
I love this location and have been there many times but this morning I was given a rice platter that had room temperature rice and barely warm chicken that was dried out. Threw the whole thing away was a waste of money. Im not going to eat unsafe food. Guess its time to look for a new place to go.

Always good here. The only issue is the cardboard to-go containers they give are very flimsy and the food will soak through if you wait too long to eat it.

Editing this. Prices now are absolutely ridiculous for some brown lettuce on a dried out pita with microwaved chicken leftover from the night before that isn t even hot when they take it out. If you go on any night other than Monday or Thursday it s great. If you go on Monday or Thursday, prepare to have to repeat your order numerous times and still get things you don t want put in your pita, or prepare for the kids of the employees to be running all around the store while you re waiting for yours. You won t be thanked on these nights for your business or even greeted when you walk in. Any other night, these things are all done with a smile on her face and does an amazing job.

Kid-friendliness: They do platters that are easier for kids to eat. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp over the curb right next to the entrance, plus handicap parking.

Very bad attitude staff working, they look tired of life, I went there at 7pm they had started cleaning i thought she was closing... they close at 10pm and no donairs were fresh, instead a whole bunch cut and put in heat tray just getting overcooked and soggy!! Bad taste and burnt pieces of chicken. I will never go here again and tell others the same.
The donairs are always very good at this location and the portions are pretty big. I can barely finish a regular donair.

This is my favourite donair, and was discovered simply because I live nearby. I ve had lots of others and none compare in flavour, portion sizes, and friendly customer service! I ve been so often that when I walk in Meenakshi always greets me with a big smile and double checks that I m getting the same thing I always get. No matter how busy it is she is always so lovely, and I will continue to come back!

I go for lunch here quite often and of all the places within walking distance this is the best! In and out in under 5mins usually and the food is always nice and fresh. Fries are quite new to the menu and quite good but I usually skip them as its made per order and Id rather not wait. Good price for a good lunch.
A friend recommended me this place, and Im glad they did. I love their beef and chicken donair; it had me coming back within just a few days. Meenakshi was the employee who made my donair both times, and did a fantastic job, as well as being very friendly.
Portion sizes were tiny, gave me a quarter slice of pita bread hand cut with my $14 dollar rice platter. Overcooked, cold and tiny pieces of meet. 2/5 star after last 5 visits. I ve noticed this at another location too. FYI I m easy going person..

Great good and good price, I come here at least once a week for lunch to have either a lamb or chicken donair. I am picky about what I eat and I find they have healthy choices plus the portions never leave me hungry.
The Al Anderson Pool staff have been coming here on split shift for the last 6 years. We have built the iconic super chicken from this Donair Affair into our culture and is a mandatory initiation for all of our new guards as well! We love this place and the delicious food, it s no exaggeration to say we show up 4-5 days a week for our delicious lunches! Meenakshi has been serving us wonderful portions of delicious super chickens for many years now and we are all so grateful for the food and service. Thank you for feeding our very hungry staff!! Their fries are some of the best Ive ever had. They are made fresh and crispy af. The only complaint I have is the portion sizes are unreliable, Ive ordered a large size a couple times and I swear they are no bigger than a small size, but today I ordered a large and it was a much larger portion. I hope it will be a little more consistent in the future. Edit: The last few times they have given me a huge amount for the fries, so I am super happy. Keep it up guys, you make the best fries around!

I like the food but the hours are wrong here. Website says 10 and while I wouldn t be mad if the website said 9:55, its the fact the website says 10. I went 9:55 and the lady told me it was closed. please change hours

Meenakshi has been happily keeping my boyfriend and I fed at least once a week for well over a year now. Her friendly demeanor keeps us coming back and has become part of our date night routine. Meenakshi makes a donair better than anyone else we ve seen, she is always on the ball and remembers our order and gets our fries started right away, she keeps a super clean restaurant and stocked fridges. At this point it s like she s part of our family and we wouldn t have it any other way.

Food was terrible. Almost like ground chicken as opposed to other Donair Affairs Ive been to, this is the worst. Also only give small portion for a large platter. And only half a pita instead of whole one like others do. Not to mention the store itself, there is fly tape with flies stuck on it right by register and food. You would think they would cover that up. Food was terrible. Wont go back. One and done.

Well I decided to try the beef donair, only cause I was starving and its always so busy at lunchtime so I figured it should be good. What a disappointment. Couldnt even finish eating it cause it was gross.

This is the best donair in Langley and maybe lower mainland. Always fast excellent service and they have quality meats. The garlic sauce and hummus are both very tasty. I wasn t asked to review this, just need to rave about my favourite donair. You won t be disappointed!

Usually the food is good from this donair affair but today I got two rice platter with chicken and the worker barely gave any salad, chicken and very little humus. Also order last fries which I paid 5.50$ and got maybe 10 fries unacceptable. Tried calling dont even answer the phone.

This is our all time favourite Donair restaurant. We have tried donairs in various places in Metro Vancouver to Cold Lake, Alberta to Regina, Saskatchewan to partway down the Oregon coast and no other place compares. They even donate their refundable bottles & cans to a nonprofit organization The only downfall to this restaurant is that they use styrofoam containers for their rice plates, etc. I would be willing to pay a bit more to be able to eat off a compostable container with compostable utensils (and have a separate bin available for compostables).

The donairs are really good, but my favourite thing about this place is their fries. The fries are to die for! I dont know what they do to them to get them so crispy and delicious, but I keep coming back for them.

Like someone else reviewed, a full star is too much. Last night, skip the dishes took 1hr 45min to deliver. Not sure if skip was totally responsible. I ordered a super beef. It was way too salty and I like salt. The side greek salad dressing tasted like lemon water, no joke, into the garbage. Are green BMs normal after eating donairs??? This was my 1st and last visit all in one, BAM! I will drive from Langley to Shannon Donair in Cloverdale before I go here again.

Donair affair in Langley has the freshest food and the best service!! I love their lamb and rice and my partner always gets their super chicken Donair. They also have the best hummus that I ve ever had, made fresh daily. I always order a side order of it with every meal. The staff is friendly, professional and always accommodating! I highly recommend them.

Ive started coming here often. Hours are great. Staff are always wonderful but a couple days I went and was horrified to learn that the owners keep the employee tips! This is disgusting!!! I often leave a generous tip because I appreciate good service. Cash tips only from now on.
Ordered rice platter and a super donair on a plate Go to pay and they charge now 12.49 cents for a super donair in a To go container. I was like why so much I asked for a super donair ladies goes owner changed it and they charge for rice with chicken plus double the meat I was like I have never paid this before I was like you can let your owner know he has lost a long term customer And told her that if he has change it that you should inform people when they order a donair on a plate . Rather hey screw down one at the till

Ive been going here for a couple of years now, all was good until a few month ago when prices where increased and quality reduced. Today was the last straw, a new girl I had not seen before made my donair in about 10 seconds cutting corners. My donair was almost half the size and did not have the right sauces on it, if you want extra sauce or a different sauce they will charge you extra. I recommend going to Donair Hut down the street. I will not go back, you just lost five customers.

Tonight was the third time I ve gone to this Donair Affair and was told I could not order what I want because they have turned off the grill. I understand the minimum wage worker wants to start cleaning and get out of there at closing but I was there an hour and half before closing! I was so frustrated I just walked out. The workers at this location do not have the best attitude to start with, and on 3 separate occasions now I have not been able to order what I want because they want to shut everything down before closing. I won t be returning again.
Depends whos working on service/quality, but for 8$, getting a decent sized beef Donaire with all sauces/toppings is decent. Not the best place, but i wouldnt specifically avoid it .

Ordered from Skipthedishes tonight my first time and I thought it was good for late night cravings. Not sure why it has so many low ratings. If you want a real Lebanese experience go to a real restaurant not fast food and quit complaining. It came with big meat portions in the chicken and rice dish. Friend loved his beef donair. Will continue ordering here thanks!

Cant go wrong here. Very large serving size of delicious meat. Lamb, beef, and chicken are all excellent. Not as busy as the Walnut Grove location, but same high quality. Halifax style donair available

Hubby and I were looking forward to this place based on coworkers recommendations and online reviews. We ordered chicken & falafel and chicken rice platter. Chicken were from a food warmer while there are no other customers in the store. Greek salad was not fresh, cucumber wasnt crispy at all. Hummus was on the grainy side and falafel was dry, tasted like it was frozen to begin with. It was not surprising because the staff microwaved them. Overall flavour was mild, even the hot sauce. If you dont like bold flavours and hot food, this is the place for ya.
