The food was OK and arrived promptly, we found the restaurant to be too dark and quite cold, certainly not inviting. It annoyed us that there was no barrier other than a curtain between the dining room and kitchen, as we had to listen to the raucous banter of the kitchen staff and the sound of meat being pounded the entire time we were there. They were unprofessionally loud and regularly dropped f-bombs. Our 2&4 year old , who were with us, were much better behaved than the carnival side show that seemed to be taking place in the kitchen. I'd expect much better in light of the $40 we were paying for entrees. We won't be back
Great food, great location, good value. Comfortable seating, interesting menu, everything I've tried was delicious. Staff are cheerful and friendly. Very helpful to an old geezer. Families are there with kids. No loud music!
Everything is brilliant. If I give you a tip for the lunch, plz ask for Schnitzel as 'Dinner Size'. If you order it as a lunch Size, you won't see any vegi on your plate. Otherwise, 5+ stars as well~
A unique location for a restaurant of this nature. On arrival it was surprisingly busy. Initial service required some prompting to get some water and took some time before the order was taken. The Virgin Caesar was mundane, and only 1 option for non-alcoholic beer choice which seems very limited. Once ordered the food came quickly. The calamari as an appetiser was quite good, the roast lamb was tender, tasty and well received with appropriate sides of green salad, rice and potatoes. The Greek salad dressing was very good. The Lamb Souvlaki was average. Finished the meal with a Chocolate Ice Cream sundae that could have used more whipped cream. The live piano music was entertaining. Overall, an excellent night out.
I had heard nothing but good things about this restaurant - I guess I must have been listening to about another establishment. First - I changed tables twice to get away from the noise of the kitchen. The restaurant had nice piped in music - the kitchen was playing R & R and the staff was singing to it. (Really - you can't come up with a better division of kitchen/dining area). Second - Even after changing table the acoustics were disappointing. I couldn't hear my guest most of the time. They had a baby grand in one corner and I hear that they have live music on Friday nights (god help anyone that visited this place then) Staff - Yes they were understaffed and our waitress did the best she could given the number of patrons in the restaurant on that night. Can't fault her for that's on management. Food - I had a traditional Greek Dish and it was fine BUT I am glad that I had the Greek Salad in a separate bowl cause my whole plate would have been swimming in oil if it hadn't. Why did they have a soak the cukes, tomatoes, etc in a vat of olive oil and then dump it on the plates. ???? Oh I know - no culinary class AND THEN THERE WAS THE DESERT - I ordered the New York Cheese Cake. BEWARE they don't make the deserts they serve and they have no idea what goes into them. ATTENTION STAFF - It is called a ingredient list and I am sure your supplier would give you one if you asked. I am sure I tasted coconut in the crust of the Cheese Cake (the waitress couldn't confirm) and by the way I was sick to my stomach the next day I am sure that there was coconut in the crust. So no I won't be going back to there. And good luck to anyone who walks through there front door
It’s our first time to visit. The food was great! My husband had the schnitzel and I had the specials. Although the meat(steak) is a bit fatty; but overall it was a great meal.
27 Classmates from the Sir Charles Tupper Class of ‘71 met at Adrian’s last Saturday, Sept 16, 2023 for a group 70th birthday. It was a virtual perfect night and setting for old friends and acquaintances to get together. They set our group up on the second floor so we could make noise and visit each other at will. Our server, Bella was outstanding - Bella is actually a 10+. Due to the size of our group, we were offered 3 different entrees to pick from - Schnitzel, lasagna or Souvlaki with a Caesar salad starter as well as dessert and coffee for a reasonable price. Thanks for a fantastic night - we will be back!!
Good food and big serving, we order the mixed greek platter which is good for 2-3people. Cleanliness of the restaurant and good atmosphere, and affordable. The service is excellent.
I had an amazing experience with fantastic food and excellent service! My server, Whitney, was outstanding and really made the meal special.
We attended a retirement dinner. Excellent food and service.
Easy to drive past if you dont realize its here. Make it an informal lunch or dinner - you wont be disappointed!!!!!
We recently hosted my daughters 10th birthday party at Adrians at the Airport, and it was an experience beyond expectations. The party hall on the 2nd floor offers a stunning view of the runway/airport, providing a captivating backdrop that impressed all our guests. The ambiance, combined with the flawless service from the staff and the remarkable Greek creations from the chefs, made the celebration truly exceptional. Every dish from appys to mains and desert was prepared to perfection, reflecting the expertise and passion of the kitchen team. A special shout-out to the owner, Jim, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless. His personal attention and genuine commitment to making our event memorable truly stood out. Jim s dedication, combined with the top-notch service by the staff, Dianne and the two servers and the excellent food by chef Shane, makes Adrian s at the Airport a standout venue for any occasion. Highly recommended!
The small size schnitzel is the best.
Food was spot on. Would recommend 100 percent.
Good food. No smile on waitresses. Phone is always off the hook.
Great food at reasonable prices. Will definitely go back.
Schnitzel was really good and the service was great. Nice clean place to.
We took my husband to have a nice meal at Adrian s yesterday. There were four of us . My husband is 85 and not well. This was supposed to be a treat for him especially. During our whole lunch they were testing their alarms. It was long and piercing in our ears. It went on for the whole meal. What I thought would be nice for my husband especially, was torture for him. Did not appreciate that lunch at all .
terrible fish n chips must be polluck so I tried turkey dinner n it must be one of those boneless turkey from a store . wont be back Food : 1/5 |
Very nice place, the food is very good, and I would say the quality for the price is right. Very effective, friendly and smiling staff. I ate the best wild salmon of my life.
Great location fast service
We were invited by friends to meet them there. We were able to visit, having a relaxing hearable conversation. Between us we had the seafood schnitzel, salmon plate, steak, chicken plate. All which were served piping hot, flavourful with ample portions. Sorry I forgot to take pictures. They have a good variety on the menu enough to satisfy anyones taste buds. Prices are on par to most mid range restaurants. Our per person pricing below includes our beverages. We definitely will put this on our list of go to places. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessible entrance and accessible parking.
Great food,
The food was AWESOME! Service was fast and very friendly, and the prices are really good for the quality and service. Right on folks keep up the good work.
The service and quality have slipped a bit lately. I paid top dollar for a seafood meal that was missing one main ingredient and skimpy on the other 2. Twice I have been served garlic bread that was dry and hard like a crouton. I keep going, hoping these issues are isolated.
Had the steak and prawn special last night was the worst Ive ever had. The prawns were soft mushy, the steak 6 oz NY was a thin slice of beef that did not taste like steak. Service was great. Ive been to Adrians several times and food and service has always been great but last night was a real put off. The piano was way to loud.
Had a lovely lunch and would have loved to have the soup recipe. Service was attentive and friendly.
Great food Great pricing Food
bad place... do yourself a favour and go somewhere they really serve food... I mean, they charged 22 dollars for a schnitzel and all I got was a measly small piece of meat, wanted ti congratulate that idiot who calls himself a chef there..I had to go to another place again, because I was HUNGRY... Shame on you...who runs the place
Hi. First time here. It was very cool inside and became very noisy at it filled with people. There needs to be some soft wall hangings or such to absorb the noise. We left cuz we couldn t talk. The meal was so so. Service was excellent. I ll try it for lunch. Love the windows and location
After getting a recommendation we went here for the first time yesterday and we have now found a new favourite place to eat! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we entered the restaurant up until the time we left. Our server made some suggestions as to what appetizers were good for sharing. We ordered the mushroom caps and they were to die for and came with garlic toast. Stuffed with fresh crab and the cheese sauce was so creamy. Delicious! I had the schnitzel parmigiana for an entree and the portion was huge and very tasty. Looking forward to the leftovers tonight!! My partner wanted the souvlaki and was able to choose 2 different skewers - he got the chicken and prawns and was blown away by the flavours. The prawns were big and juicy and they were generous with the amount of prawns on the skewer. There was plenty of parking right out front to park the airplane although there could be better signage to find the restuarant. Inside the restaurant was bright and cheery and tables spaced out so you werent overhearing other customers conversations. There was quite an extensive menu, but not overwhelming and the prices seemed reasonable compared to some other places weve been to, considering the big portions and quality of food. We will definitely be making this one of our to-go places, especially since it is only a 10-minute flight from our home base. Looking forward to trying more menu items in the near future. Highly recommend. Parking: Lots of airplane parking right in front of the restaurant, although cant speak for vehicle parking.
Friendly staff, good food.
Came here for a function and the staff were lovely and the food and drinks good. The restaurant is by the local airport so its got a great view of smaller landing trips and some aeroplanes.
Cool little spot to take the family. Great food and cool atmosphere
We live out of town and met new friends for dinner. Theres a great menu selection and we were able to enjoy a great visit and a great meal!
Food was excellent and the portions generous.
Excellent local place within walking distance for us. Great food, great staff and great service.
We usually go for a coffee with a group. The service is always very good and friendly. Adrians food has always been very good
Loved everything about it. Parking was a non issue Food was top notch for 5 of us. Laura was our top notch server. Attentive to our needs, pleasant. The atmospere/ambiance was very enjoyable. Surrounding tables sang happy bd with us. ALL GOOD.
Nice restaurant right at the airport. Very good selection on the menu and decent food. Worth trying.
Unfortunately, Adrians did not live up to the hype. The service was non existent, food was below average and my chicken souvlaki was barely cooked. Really like supporting local but will not be returning here again. The only nice thing is the restaurant big, bright and having the view is nice. The elevator music needs to go.
The food was average. Smaller portions. Not much of an atmosphere. Very open area with big windows.
Good timely service Portions were large and hot Food
The last time I went to this restaurant was before the airport renovations and the service and food was abysmal. There was only 1 wait staff working so it took around 45 minutes for our order to be served. I ordered Chicken Strips and Ceasar Salad and when it finally arrived the Chicken was cold. I dont mean, room temperature...I mean some pieces were actually frozen. Since they were so horribly understaffed it was difficult to get the waitresses attention and when I did I tried to tell her I didnt want the Chicken Strips anymore. However, she took my plate and retreated into the kitchen before I could finish my thought. The chicken strips were brought back to me reheated within 5 minutes but they were hard, rubbery and the salad was saturated in dressing. When the waitress asked how it was I said not good which she responded with well you shouldnt eat it. However at this point it had been an hour and I was so hungry I had to eat it. What made it worse was that when the bill came there was no discount applied towards my meal so I had to bring it to her attention. The waitress ended up taking off a few dollars but honestly I felt like I should not have been charged at all considering how horrible it was. I should mention I havent had a horrible experience at Adrians before but this was so bad I dont think I will make the effort to go back again.
Staff, service, selection, atmosphere, food quality.... All are superior...
Best Schnitzel in Town.
During our latest visit to Adrians at the Airport in Langley, BC, what was anticipated to be a delightful dining experience turned out to be rather disappointing. The service we received was passable, not particularly noteworthy, but adequate for our needs. However, the main letdown of the evening was undoubtedly the food. In the past, weve enjoyed the Greek dishes offered by Adrians, which set our expectations high for this visit. Perhaps, in hindsight, sticking to what we knew might have been the wiser choice. This time around, we opted for different entrees, including the wild salmon and the evening special, prime rib. The wild salmon, which on paper sounded enticing, was a far cry from what we anticipated. It arrived overcooked, lacking in flavor, and was dry to the point of being unpalatable. This was a disappointment, especially considering the potential of a well-cooked salmon dish. The prime rib special, unfortunately, did not fare any better. The accompanying vegetables were cold and had turned to a mushy texture, detracting significantly from the dishs appeal. The Yorkshire pudding, which should have been light and airy, was tough and chewy. Moreover, the gravy had congealed, and the prime rib itself was a major letdown overcooked, teeming with gristle, and so tough it posed a challenge to the steak knife provided. Hoping to end our meal on a high note, we shared a dessert named Eckmeck. Regrettably, this too did not meet our expectations. The dessert was bland, and the toasted almonds that topped it were overdone and stale, adding a disappointing conclusion to our meal. Our experience at Adrians at the Airport was disheartening, especially given our previous positive experiences with their Greek dishes. The quality of the food on this visit was markedly below par, and its with regret that we note the decline in what we had known as a reliable spot for a good meal. Future diners might find it prudent to stick with the restaurants Greek menu or consider other dining options in Langley, BC, to ensure a more satisfying culinary experience.
Found this place by accident and had the best experience with all the friendly staff. Cant wait to be back to try everything on the menu!
We endured a really poor dinner at Adrians Friday night. From roast lamb with dried out skin attached, calamari with a flabby coating, a piddly piece of overcooked broccoli and cauliflower. The pork schnitzel was adequate as it had a nice crispy coating, but the bearnaise sauce was a gloopy mess that ruined whatever seafood was stuck in it. The mushroom caps were nice. The hot chicken wings were good but, then again, who cant make good chicken wings. Wont be back there again.
The food was good and the service very good. It could use a better wine list.
Food was good realy enjoyed the steak and mushroom snitchel was really yummy Restaurant was not busy and the decor is okay.. Food
Easily one of the top 2-3 restaurants in langley. Dont know many places that make a better roast lamb. The one cook has been in the industry for over 25 years.
Edible food. Mine was cold as was one other guest. One was hot, others had salad. Will not return.
Foods good atmosphere rather sterile
You will enjoy yourselves here. Service was great food was great. We had the greek platter, very satisfactory. Food
Addition: 2023 Still the same, the best Greek Restaurant in Langley, wait staff kind and attentive. Food is hot (but not fast) desserts are delicious. Very busy 7 days a week, after 5pm a reservation is a must. Nice view of the planes and runway. Windows on 3 sides let in lots of natural light. Restaurant is good for first dates or casual dinners. Still 5 Stars! Old Review: 2022 Warm and cozy, lovely lady playing the piano, food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Waitresses are kind and attentive, short wait for food and drinks. Roughly $20 and up per plate. Alcohol Drinks are a good price. Best Greek Restaurant in Langley! After 5pm Friday to Sunday call to reserve a table. Lots of parking with lights and covid protocols in place. I highly recommend this location. 5 Stars Parking: Lots of available parking Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, no play area. More for middle aged to elderly clientele. Quiet atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, and make reservations to state wheelchair accessibility. As they also have direct access from side parking, so they can open double doors. Those doors are open on nice days but if not just mention it.
Very good food and service
Impromptu live piano and amazing food creations!
Driven by many times. Glad we went in this time. Server was very friendly and informative. Really enjoyed the food.
Staff is very friendly but the Alfredo pasta I ordered was mediocre
The food was very good. You get a choice of soup or salad, your main meal ,and ice cream and coffee or tea - All for one price. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food and our server were great. This is not the place to bring kids of any age. They will be glared at the entire time they eat their meal. Especially if they are laughing or talking loudly ( as kids do). Kid-friendliness: This is not a kid friendly place. We came for dinner at 6:30 pm with two families that have 5 kids under the age of 7. We asked before hand if they could accommodate us and they said yes. The food and our server were great. However, the rest of the elderly crowd preferred if our kids kept their mouths shut and played on tablets. Not once did the owner or our server say anything to us. Instead we had a few tables glare at our kids and one even yelled at them for putting salt on their plate. After getting glares from the other tables, we confronted one table and asked if there was a problem. We were told the one year old laughing and the occasional screams ( she can t talk yet, so raising her voice is how she communicates) ruined their dinner. We will never go back to this place again. Which is sad because we have lacrosse twice a week out there and really thought this was our new after lacrosse dinner place. We will be sure to tell people with families to take their hard earned money elsewhere.
Wow. What a great meal. The staff were friendly, and even though they get very busy at dinner service, we still got great service and hot food. Parking: Charge stations Kid-friendliness: They can do a cheese
I admit i prefer the old adrians...before the terminal was modernised. I liked the atmosphere and country vibe...even though it was getting run down. New place to modern, but food is great and service hasnt changed. This is an additional post...updated mar-23. Ratings the same! Still great food, my service was excellent, ambiance still needs help. Maybe get more plants in...lol As for the angry Karen moaning about the place being non child friendly, Ive been here several times when young children were present...no issues. Those little brats you pushed out, are a commentary on your failed parenting, not the restaurant. Your wretched little family unit, ruined the dining experience of several other groups. Congrats...your locally famous.
Great place to eat.
Incredible second floor venue for our daughters wedding. Stunning windows and patio and the food was exceptional. Thanks to the whole team at Adrians for such great service!!
OMG...just returned home from Adrians at the Airport.. literally had the Best meal of life.... I ordered the New York steak with shrimp and bernaise sauce...and Wowser...will be back for sure..LOVED IT...THE MEAL AND THE SERVICE AMAZING. We had a lady named MO serving us....WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK...And best of all ....it was super reasonable prices..My new Go To...
The service was great, the view of the planes depending where you are seated, is pretty cool too. Not what I would call a lively atmosphere. So thats my personal opinion. If you like quiet and boring, you might want to rate at 5. They can definitely improve on the quality of the food though. It wasnt terrible but also, it was not spectacular either. I admit it was busy at the time so maybe thats why the quality went down. Perhaps the cook felt rushed. Idk I am on the fence whether I will return or not. To be honest its 3.5 stars for me. Its not good enough for four stars and its a tiny bit better than ok
Dining area is quite sparse. Booths would be more comfortable
One of our favorite places to eat
Really good food, huge portions at a good price. Highly recommend.
Cool spot.. views of the airport, where you can see aircraft takeoff and land. Food was standard pub-like food, which I like! Food
Came here with my family on March 26 to celebrate hubby birthday, it did take a while for the waitress to get to us even though it was pretty empty in there we got there at 3pm, the food was great good size portions, our waitress was very friendly and food did come out pretty fast.
Food is OK. Service is goid Restaurant was busy and very noisy. But we had fun with my coligue. It was one of our are staff retirement celebration. Enough space for parties.
We liked the old ricketty restaurant only because it was near the airport. Now we love the new restaurant/bar and love watching the planes and helicopters! Its one of our favorite hangouts! Staff are always great! Good food!
Really enjoyable experience overall! Staff were super accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious, aside from the rice with my meal which was a tad flavorless. Overall a wonderful experience Ill be sure to return to someday soon!
Great food
Great service and tasty food
Portions and prices were awesome. We really enjoyed the Greek platter for 2. Our server was so friendly and accommodating and really made us feel welcome. The view was also really nice. Parking: Lots of parking. Kid-friendliness: Stroller friendly. Kids menu. High chair. Wheelchair accessibility: Large aisles between tables. Flat. Close parking and automatic doors.
I ordered for take out and got their lasagna and New York steak. First time trying both of them, my usual is their chicken salvaki. Best lasagna I have tried in awhile & the steak was tender and flavorful, kudos to the chefs I will be coming back.
Fantastic food at a great price. Also the dessert special(strawberry rhubarb tart) was fantastic. Will definitely be back next time we re in town.
Nice sandwiches and soup.
Went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food... The Saganaki and Mushroom caps are a must try...
Stopped here for lunch recently. We havent been there since they moved from the old building. I was a bit apprehensive as the decor is now quite modern so hoping the food hadnt changed from before. Lunch menu is a bit limited but there was something there for each of the 3 in our party. Beef Dip was good, salad was excellent and the baked lasagna was killer. Service was great too and to top it off they have Dead Frog beers on tap. Cant wait to go back.
Always great place to get together with friends and family. The food is always good and its nice to watch the planes take off and land at the Langley airport. I only wish that they would have their upstairs patio open for parties under 35! Definitely a great place to eat.
I went here a while ago, told them my name was Adrian as well and they gave me a little airplane . 5 stars, honestly made my year.
Today I had the worst roast lamb in my life !!! The whole meal was disgusting . Lamb was cold inside and tasted like it was cooked in the boiled water. Potato tasted like from microwave. Every time we were coming there food was worst and worst but now was not eatable. Felt bad for the waiter that was serving me today. She was nice and polite etc. I guess that place is going down.
Food was excellent didn t even have to add the lemon! Reasonably priced and good portions!
This was absolutely the most AMAZING chicken souvlaki I have had in a LONG time. Loved it ALL! Highly recommend this restaurant for super tasty Greek food!!
Met some friends here for dinner last week. What a unique location, watching the planes was great fun. The food was pretty good, we ordered several dishes. Most were hits, a couple of them could have used more flavour. Our server was friendly but forgot a few things.
The service was great, the meal was delicious. I enjoyed everything, I only wish they would open up the patio for all patrons.
I work close by...So I ordered lunch here for take out today, as I like to treat myself on Fridays! Im so glad I did. I had the chicken club with fries. It was amazing! Droolworthy! The fries were perfectly crisp and the sandwich was amazing. I was helped the second I walked in the door.....great service! Neat ambiance as well! I will be back next Friday to try something new. I recommend people skip the fast food franchises nearby (grab it to go)...the prices are basically the same and the food here is great. Im a big guy and the food was Uber filling. FYI the pictures do the food no justice (I had already eaten half my sandwich) and you cant see the fries lol. Cheers.
The food here is delicious, everything Ive tried so far has been great. Id recommend for lunch the teriyaki chicken burger. For dinner try their fettucini alfredo with chicken and get it baked with cheese, you wont be disappointed!
What a nice restaurant. Service was great. Food was so good. Nice place. Good location. Would definitely eat here again.
The food was amanzing! But what really made the experance was our waitress, Alyssa. She was amazing! She was friendly, professional and over all lovely woman. I highly recommend coming in for wonderful food survice.
Seafood Salad was excellent
Food is mediocre. Service is absolutely atrocious. Save your money for somewhere better.
Terrible service, terrible food. These people do not know how to run a restaurant.
Great food and good service
The food was great, and so was the service, but the elevator music can go
Dietary restrictions: Great with allergies. Food
It is such a wonderful and cozy place to have a very special occasion. Service is wonderful, and the food is so good
Huge portions and really good food.
Very good food!! They serve pasta, soups, and some good appatizers aswell! If you dont know where to go for some dinner or lunch, Adrians is the answer!
Roast beef was my favorite
Got the WORST food poisoning after eating here. Right after the meal I started to have severe abdomen pain and then had non-stop diarrhea, nausea and wanting to vomit. The atmosphere is ok but service is pretty bad. We have to call the waiter multiple times before they will come over.
Was overall good experience, good portions, and flavor. Owner was so kind and accomidating!
Always great food, service, and nice location to watch planes.
Fantastic food and great staff.
Great food Awesome variety of food Always a great time Staff are always friendly
The food is good. Its not gourmet or anything. It was served fast and the taste hit all the right spot. Nothing too crazy. But I would come back for the service. Just awesome server, good ambiance, clean place, and family friendly. We came here for our children birthday celebration. They were all in all very accommodating. Plus its located right by the airport. Our kids love that combination.
So good
Great Greek food! Had the moussaka. One olive rationing (serve said that was standard) per Greek salad however is pretty skimpy.
1st time there since they opened in New location was OK. This time was nice, food and service is good. Ok prices too.
Service was great, food was HORRIBLE. We ordered the Saturday special of steak and soft shell crab. My steak looked like garbage and was well done when I asked for medium, and the crab UGGHHH it was just a huge greasy, deep fried piece of batter in the shape of a teeny tiny crab. Mashed potatoes were deep fried in some coating. Needless to say I sent it back and got something else and this time I found a long hair embedded in my rice. I was done at that point. My husband ordered the steak as well and it was still Mooing. My kids had chicken strips and they were glistening with grease as well. Not sure why this place has great ratings, I wouldnt go back for the life of me..
Went there tonight it was a full house but he still found my wife and a table unbelievable veal Schnitzel And the chicken slovaki is to die for Weve never had a bad meal there always top notch
We really like the food here especially the Greek platter, as well as the atmosphere. The waitresses have always been really friendly to us and seem relaxed but also very attentive to their customers. I love that we can eat dinner next to the airport runway and watch the planes take off. This place is awesome for kids who love airplanes. The menu has a great variety of food to suit everyone s needs. It s also located next door to the Canadian Museum of Flight, so it makes for a wonderful family day out to do dinner and the museum.
Awesome burger and soup
The aroma just walking in made me and my son hungry, garlicky seafood aroma. We got the meatballs and a club.....excellent food, a chef is here making magic!
My husband and I have visited the restaurant for the past 10 years. We never had left disappointed, the food always test well. My recommendation is you need to work on your website link. My computer and my smartphone always block its site as suspicious.
This was our first time at Adrian s at The Airport. We just finished a lovely meal with wonderful and friendly service. I had the roast lamb and it was as seasoned perfectly and was delicious. My companions enjoyed the Spanakopita Meal and the Mushroom Schnitzel. The Greek rice, salad and potatoes were a great match. The Schnitzel came with delicious cooked cabbage. The meal was really good. The place was really great. Truly we enjoyed the food, we will be back! The plates are mostly empty except the Spanakopita that we wanted to take with us for tomorrow. Thank you for the great meal.
Good food and good service
Very poor service cold food no bacon on the buffet or egg Benedict very bad experience on mothers day never going back save your money McDonalds is better!!!!
I had the chicken pita sandwich and my second bite was into uncooked chicken. She took my plate and said she would remove it from the bill. But then came back and said the chicken was pre cooked and there was no way it was undercooked. I know rubber chicken is uncooked or cooked improperly. But thanks for letting me know that I don t know what I m eating
First time we ate here, what a pretty place and peaceful environment. The waitress was attentive and friendly, the service was fast. We enjoyed the food, everything was delicious thank you!
Went for a grad dinner for our son with people from Chilliwack, Vancouver and Langley. Shortly after completing our meal we were asked to leave to make room. Food was average and below. Not sure if I would go back based on the asking to leave. Poor decor and service fit for a country greasy spoon.
Looks better than it tasted. The roast lamb was very tender but bland & the dressing on the Greek salad was watery. The waitress was dismissive & was already walking away from the table as soon as she put down a plate or glass. Didnt bother to ask about beverages or condiments as the main courses were served. Was apparently running around like a headless chicken but had time to let other tables in our area know about it. When we asked for refills on drinks, we were dismissed more than once. She had only 5 tables in her section, plus help from a trainee runner. It was not a busy night, and yes, I have worked as a server. This was a disappointing experience.
UPDATE: I decided to book reservations for Father s Day because I enjoyed my meal so much the other day. I booked reservations for 10 people at 6pm. We are going to make it a monthly event with our family. Every single one of us agreed the food and service was great and it was super busy!! First time dining in today for lunch with a friend and I really enjoyed my spanakopita lunch. Super tasty and large portion, good service and good prices. I look forward to coming back with my husband. So close to home but never been before until today. It was quite busy in there around 1:00 on a Wednesday which is a good sign.
I ate in the restaurant and it was great went back another day for take out the kalamari didn t have tzatziki the lamp I got was so greasy. Better to dine in than take out very upset that I wasted $45
Great lunch special, reasonable price.
I didnt take photos and I feel like a dope for not! Haha This was my first time visiting Adrians restaurant. My coworker decided to bring me here as a birthday dinner! I wasnt expecting a Greek menu. Other small airports are mostly just western foods like burgers and fries. So that was a pleasant surprise upon being seated and given the menu. When you walk in, theres a long hall to get to the counter to speak with someone about getting a table. On the way there is a sign with the todays specials. A new York steak and a long island iced coffee. It was my first hearing about one of those before heh. We were greeted by a lovely young lady and charming man who brought us to our table, gave us menus and took our drink order right away. When they brought us our drinks we had enough time to peruse the menus and we got the roast lamb (around $23), and two orders of the todays special. (New York strip) around $25. There isnt much to look at IN the restaurant, but it kept our conversation at the table going about day to day stuff. It didnt seem to take long for the dinner rush to come in and suddenly it seemed pretty loud and I was glad we got there before the rush as our seat was right at a window and not in the section of the restaurant that picks up sound like a funnel. (Or so my coworker said, this was not his first time here) Our food was delivered and it was like a picture right out of a chef book. Beautifully plated, the aroma of the bacon mushroom sauce on the new York strip was delectable and seeing a skewer of potatoes instead of them just bundled onto a plate was nice! My partners roast lamb was soft enough it fell apart while going to pick a piece up with a fork. It came with the usuals a Greek dinner would come with, rice, a potato, Greek salad and then mint sauce, and tzatziki sauce. The long island iced coffee was delicious as well as the pineapple juice the others at our table got. The waitress was amazing, checked in if we needed anything, always smiling and courteous with the table. Just watching her around other tables near us she didnt seem to change at all and it was so nice to see that she either really enjoys what she does, or is REALLY good at hiding it if she doesnt hahaha. Will definitely go to Adrians restaurant again! Thank you for having us!
Good food and service
This place was great. The menu was extensive, the service was friendly and efficient and the food was really good. I was a bit sorry they didnt have the wine in stock that we wanted but they recommended something similar and it was really good. For some reason, the place was almost empty on a Saturday, but for no reason I could figure.
Good service, nice staff, good menu and really good serving time.
If you are thinking of coming back to try the food after the Reno, it s not the same. The service is terrible, the waitress was inattentive, the person who seats people had the first one in our party to arrive waiting for a solid 10-15 minutes while ignoring her and being apathetic; This was the worst offence. We had a RESERVATION and when the entire party arrived we had to flag the apathetic host down to get him to notice us and seat us. The wait was long, we had to flag down our waitress for simple stuff like water and coffee and that took long to get her attention because she would be nowhere to be found. It was a pain to try and get simple stuff like cutlery, we had to take from the empty table beside us for cutlery. The waitress completely snubbed me when I called her for cutlery and walked away, still mad about that. The lamb was tender but bland, no flavour, not even mint sauce, just fatty. The rice was greasy and I got one measly potato, the waitress forgot my pita that came with the order but it was rectified mid meal. The greek salad was the best thing to be honest. I want to make it clear, this review is NOT out of spite, I did not have a rude waitress, but she was inattentive and we felt like we were treated like a number and given terrible service. The few praises I give this place is I tried the neptune schnitzel my mom ordered and it was tasty. The other praise i give is that the waitress listened to my complaint about the host and assured me it wouldn t happen again. Otherwise, this place has gone downhill from being one of the best, sought after greek restaurants in Langley to a subpar shell of what it used to be.
Never disappointed, always so good!!
I had the warm seafood salad last visit and it was great and the homemade dressing was excellent Dietary restrictions: I had no problem finding a low carb option
Good food, good place,
Good midrange pricing of mostly-Greek food. Good portion size, excellent service.
Nope not coming back here. They obviously do not cook the lamb in house. It took almost a hour for our food to arrive and the lamb was hot on the outside but fridge cold on the inside not luke warm but real fridge cold. She took it back and brought the lamb back within 8 min. That speaks to me of a microwave. The meal was mediocre the salad was the best part. I do not recommend this place at all
Had a family dinner with a party of 18 adults and kids . They were very accommodating and table service by Keana was great! Everyone enjoyed their meals and had a great time. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely return another day. Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy wheelchair access .
Not as charming and special as the old restaurant. It is now more like a social hangout. Very loud and not private
Restaurant is clean, excellent service, and the food was very tasty for everyone in our party. It is conveniently located in the main terminal building and therefore a convenient location for anyone flying in to meet for lunch or what have you. We will definitely return there again.
Fantastic food and staff. If you like to eat try this on for sure. Believe me I am a chef
We shared the appie platter, the flavours were outta this world!!
Parking: Lots of parking
The food was wonderful and Maureen was too. Definitely going back!!!
Lots of space for a large group.
Great place to grab a bite at the Langley airport. You cant go wrong with the daily specials. Food
Enjoyed a lunch buffet with group of 40 people- upstairs in new dining area. Great food and service. Bar available for beer and wine- recommend it to any large group Parking: Lots of spaces, handicap parking, electric vehicle stations
My wife is a Chef and it is so hard to find good restaurants. This was our first time there so we were pleasantly surprised. The Calamari was amazing and I am very fussy about mine. The only thing I didnt like was my salad wasnt on a side plate and was warm on one side because it was leaning on hot food. Still a good meal.
After all these years, Adrians beef dip is still the best.
Best schnitzel anywhere!! Hands down..add shrimp and hollandaise...omg.. The veggies..red cabbage..potatoes.. .unbelievable ..calamari to start...and ekemeke to finish..the only thing that made it even better is Sarah!!..you are a doll!!..great service always!! Thanks for another great meal!!! Parking: perfect
Dont bother going to this place if you have any food allergies, sensitivities or dietary restrictions. The waitress didnt seem to care about my concerns and shrugged me off when I asked about the food. The dinner I did get was terrible. A stir fry with mushy overcooked vegetables drowned in so much teriyaki sauce it was soup with mushy veggies. One of the worst meals. I ended up sending it back mostly uneaten. I came with a large group, and most of the others enjoyed their meal. But I would never go back to Adrians.
Thisnis a great little surprise at the airport. The food and service was brilliant! Fun watching the small planes coming and going as well. Certainly a worthwhile stop!
How does this place stay in business with no up and running web page to see the prices or even a menu.
Attended with a large group (40 +) for a Christmas party in the private room upstairs. We had a buffet style dinner, food was fresh, hot and tasty. Very enjoyable night.
Nice food and relaxed ambient.
Myself and two friends were @ Adrian s tonight. One of my friends grew up in the restaurant business and is quite the foodie! We all had schnitzel and it was over the top never had better! Keep up the great work!!
Ok well was told this place had great food, so we thought we would try it. Well talk about being very disappointed, The service was terrible, they look their noses down at you. Overpriced food and the worst food ever. I had a pasta dish that was supposed to have a garlic cream sauce, a scarce amount of sauce and tasted no garlic and the dish was tasteless very bland. I had chicken with my pasta which was very dry, the pop I had was watered down ( not from the ice). I can say that the only thing on my plate that tasted good was the garlic bread, although it be very soggy. The atmosphere felt like I was in a dentist office not in a restaurant, white and grey very cold colors not warm and inviting. It seems they cook a lot of food that is frozen, not fresh, anybody can take food out of a freezer and throw it in the micro!! Terrible service Terrible food Overpriced food Watered down pop = I will never return.
Had a great meal here! Stopped in with six of our friends and they were more than accommodating. Nice beer selection, food was delicious.. definitely highly recommended. Our server was outstanding, very personable had been there a very long time and help guide us through the menu to get us exactly what we needed.
Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. We sat outside and enjoyed the patio. Inside looked quite bland and no character
Amazing staff and great food
Our first and only time going to this restaurant. There is NO signage for the entrance at all! We ordered chicken souvlaki and the chicken was raw on both orders. Our server was nice and immediately offered to bring another set of skewers. I opted out cuz if they didnt do it right the first time, I dont have much faith. The menu offered online is different than whats offered in the restaurant - no burgers, sandwiches - almost half of the food listed wasnt available, which was very disappointing for a few at our table. Oh, and there was a server that was walking around with her mask under her nose and she consistently pulled it down to talk to people.. We wont be back.
Visited Adrians on 26 Sep for the schnitzel. Terribly disappointed. The schnitzel was no bigger than a burger, the potatoes, red cabbage and mushroom gravy were cold. I ate the luke warm schnitzel but not the rest of the meal. After making my complaint to the server with the ideation she would tell management, I felt confident they would know of my displeasure. I was quite surprised they didnt offer to reduce the price when i checked out. I will not be returning nor will i recommend to my friends and family. Too bad, it used to be well known for schnitzel.
Comfortable environment with good Greek food. New building with plenty of parking
Absolutely one of the best lamb souvlakis I have had. Done just right tender and very succulent. The salad was crisp and tasty. Lots of tomatoes, cucumber and onion with a tangy dressing. Our appies came soon after we ordered them. The new restaurant is bright and airy. Covid protocals are observed. Masks are required plus ID and vaccination certification. Staff was friendly and service was quick.
The food was good .... I like the Low Carb option, but why do you charge an extra $3.50 when It is actually less food ... My salad was almost the same size as the regular portion .....
Great food and service with very reasonable prices. Our server Alyssa did a great job and look forward to another great meal sometime soon.
got stomch pain from food
Very bad stuff
Our party of four had four different entrees. The steak was extremely rare and had to be sent back twice to have it corrected and even then, was not exceptional at all. Having said this, the other three entrees ordered were excellent. The service was also excellent . Wasnt that thrilled with the table set up....kind of like the seating at a food fair....overall, was reasonable and very extensive menu.
Great schnitzels and Greek food. The new location is great and very new but can be a bit cold with all the glass and open space so bring a jacket if you tend to need one.
Great service and great food!
a large Christmas group. Good food
I would have given this a 5 because the food is very good - but the service! Oh my the service is way too slow - pleasant but slow.. Mr. Owner - you need to do something about this!
Great lunch menu and helpful servers.
Food and service were top notch.
Casual comfortable good service and food
