So so so dissatisfied with how abysmal our service was tonight. Every moment with our server was like being the scum under her fingernails. Love browns as a chain but I m unsure about whether I ll come to this location again.

Great food and service. Background music too loud for easy conversation.

We are huge fans of Browns in general, with Langley Centre being our favourite location! Our recent visit was even more of a treat with the wonderful attention we got from Abbie! She always remembers us and checks in on us, but this visit we were there with friends and she went above and beyond to make us feel special!

The staff is very well trained. Rebecca did a really good job. She was very kind and polite. The food was delicious and the service was amazing.

Jamie is quite literally the best server I ve ever had, she makes the world a better place! She is so kind, attentive, and hilarious!! Food and atmosphere are also wonderful.

Had dinner hear with all of my siblings recently. Id booked a reservation. So there was no problem getting our seating. Food was great and ambience was great. The only thing Id say is that their music is often way too loud. We found ourselves having to yell just to hear the person sitting directly across of us. They were really good and turned it down a little when I asked about it.

Service is very spotty prices are going up amount of food is going down. Ive been to this place more times than I can think over many years. They changed the size of their wine glasses recently along with changing times of happy hour ect ect ect because they dont give a crap about their customers. Why! Because they know with the massive population growth in Langley theyll have lots of customers. Im done! Oh and dont forget the shooting in their parking lot! The management is obviously a joke!

Non existent management. I should start this with the fact that I was suppose to receive a credit for an incorrect take out order since 2022 and to this day, nothing. Haven t been there since as I refused as due to the last incident which was incorrect meals. We had a giftcard so we went in and clearly hasn t improved. Cold calamari and small portions of chicken. Won t be coming back and would a response from Taylor S really be so much to ask for? She also lied and said she called me and spoke to my husband..as a unwed woman, I had to arugue with her that she didn t lol!

Brown s Socialhouse in Langley was a hit! The Dragon Bowl was delicious, and my friend s bacon cheeseburger was awesome. The drinks were great too. Definitely going back!

I love their salads and get them quite frequently. My fiancé went there yesterday to pick up an order and was super uncomfortable when the server asked why we didn t tip. This would be the only reason why we don t go back, we don t normally tip on orders we pick up. We always tip generously when we dine in. Customer should not be put on a spot like that. It cost us over $50 for 2 salads we love. I couldn t believe that the waitress would ask for a tip on a takeout order. Very unprofessional. We are insulted.

Me and my business partner went there around 430pm on tuesday, the restaurant was empty so we had a nice booth, and at first the service was good, we had a couple of the happy hour lagers, and to be honest they made both of our stomachs very upset after we left the restaurant. Didn t finish our last beer. The beer seemed off like it had gone bad. Would expect more from a high end restaurant like browns.

Cheerful staff, food is always good. The calamari is excellent. Fast service.

I was here for a friends birthday party and I ended up coming a bit late and the sever was quick to get me and my girlfriends food in, but our drinks took forever and it was had to get ahold of the server. We had our group of 20 on the patio and they put us all at tables of 4 instead of making a large table or 2 big tables, there was plenty of room for the servers to get around it seemed very silly.

Delicious burger on lettuce instead of a bun. I loved every juicy bite of it. Our waitress was the best!

I got a full Caesar salad without the chicken. It was small and nothing special about it. Very overcharged price for what it was. Gf got a side Caesar with her soup and it was the exact same size. And yet her soup, Caesar and garlic bread came to the same price as my tiny Caesar. That, plus the waitress never came by to offer me more water or any drink annoyed me. I drank my GFS water instead until I realized there were 6 little lemon cells on the inside of the glass. The glass never had lemon in it and so they were clearly from poor cleaning of the glass. Overall, the experience just reminds me of why I dont go to these bland restaurants made for boring people.

I ordered there happy hour nachos and their quantity is so less that it is even not sufficient for 1 person . Moreover, the staff need to learn some communication skills , specifically the server named ADRIANA. She is so rude and nonsense.

Loved the steak! It was well done and quite tasty with the herbal sauce on it! Sushi was good too! Pasta too!

We always come here during happy hour! I have had the butcher block burger and social lager probably 20+ times. Recommend the nachos and the Thai chicken for happy hour food options. Do not recommend the haply hour sushi. Learn from my mistakes.

Got there when it opened with a toddler 11am first ones there. They started seating more people and getting them drinks but not us finally get drinks then have to get someone not our server to order our food guess REBECCA forgot about us ! It was agreed that the childs food would come first shes 18 months it didnt come first not a problem but people that came after us were already leaving!! Worst experience EVER. Rebecca you are so unprofessional hope you grow up. Wont be there again. Worst eggs benedict ever took 10 mins to get salt n pepper cold by that time. Very disappointing

Absolutely terrible. Brought my child here to celebrate mothers day and our day was completely ruined. Food was bad and service was worse. Especially do not bring a toddler/young child here. Every diner in the restaurant received their food before my fussy and hungry 1.5 year old. Definitely DO NOT recommend wasting your time or money here. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Fun bar and great staff. Food is delicious.

Delicious food and good ambience. The service was also amazing. We were especially grateful that they could customize our steak orders and add their phenomenal Cajun spice mix to it. The Hollywood burger was very tasty and one of the reasons my wife wanted to go there. My daughter had the pasta which she said was great in taste and quality of the fresh ingredients. We are definitely repeat customers here.

There wasnt anything really special about my last meal there. There wasnt any wow factor from anyone at our table. Just average.

Employees all attentive and polite. Location clean and comfortable. Covered patio available but very hot. Food hot and delicious! But not enough food in the Dragon Bowl for $25. I am a 140 pound female body builder and I left the table hungry. Regular drinks are $4.50 (pop) The decor is in dark colors and it was quiet until noon, when it got busy. I still recommend.

Great burgers and beer. The chicken Alfredo had the option to add bacon and they added lots of bacon! The staff was very friendly and efficient.

First and last visit...

Food was very poorly presented and poor quality.. was not worth the money.. I sat on the patio with heater full blast on my head asked waitress if she could turn it off .. she said she would then didnt. Didnt come back to check if food was okay.. I had to complain and send food back which looked like a bag of salad thrown on a plate with 1 piece of pineapple and one tiny piece of avocado. With tuna squeezed on side of the plate. I will not be returning.

I ordered fish and chips. The fish was not good, it was a small chunk with tons of overcooked batter. Not enough tartar sauce even though I got extra. And the fries portion was no more than 20 short fries. Not sure if it was because I ordered for take out, but this experience threw me off for a while and I ll look elsewhere for a bit.

Good food and service is great at this location but the volume of the music makes conversation difficult. Requested for volume to be lowered a bit but no change.

Had to share my experience of our dinner last night.We have been coming to Browns for years but very disappointed with our visit last night.I want to mention that your host ( male) who sat us was delightful, very attentive.Our waitress however was very disengaged with us the whole night.Never came back to check on us after meals were dropped and actually LEFT off her shift without even telling us or handing us over to someone else.We sat and waited and waited for our cheque or someone to check on us,and no one came until finally the male host noticed we were not being taken care of.Please talk to your staff about signing off with their tables before they just leave! Things like this make us take our business elsewhere.Nowadays so expensive and unaffordable to dine out Im not going to waste our nights we get to go out somewhere we are treated like we are a nuisance.Many other restaurants to choose from now!

Just when I thought I couldn t love Brown s more than I already do! Food and customer service is always 10/10 (Oreo cheesecake jars are to die for!) but tonight they really went the extra mile. I had the worst experience ever with Skip The Dishes and long story short, Brown s more than rectified the situation even though it wasn t their fault! Thanks to Olivia and her manager whose name I forgot to ask for (sorry!).

The food was great the service was just a little bit less than what I expected. All in all the experience was good. We ordered the potato crusted Cod and the blackened chicken Cowboy. They were both awesome however they mixed up the salad on my wifes card. No big deal we enjoyed our dinner anyways though it would have been nice to try the coleslaw that should have been there.

First time visit, went with work friends. Shared some appies and mains. Everyone enjoyed their meal

We were cut off after 2 rounds of drinks without explanation why and very rudely from their manager because they didn t like our party size and didn t want to serve 35 people even though they took the reservation in advance. Wrote to their management team with their feedback email and nothing! I wonder if Scott Morrison knows the Langley team is ruining his brand and reputation. And quite literally giving his money to other business near by.

The server we had last time there was fantastic. Very helpful and positive with a great sense of humour.

My only gripe is how loud it gets inside the restaurant everything g else is fantastic, but for someone with hearing issues, I default to reading lips here.

I Never leave reviews and haven t been to browns in a few years but I had a gift card so came in to pickup some desert to bring home for the family. Matt at the bar was really nice and helpful, gave me some water without me asking while I waited. Will definitely be back soon!

Never come here as a group!! We had a corporate dinner and had reserved a table for 15 people ahead of time. When we reached the restaurant, the host assigned to us and the manager made us sit in separate tables (they had originally arranged our seating in 4-5 separate tables. Upon request they put 2 tables together which accommodated 11 people in one setting and 4 in a separate table, opposite to it, which made it difficult for us to interact with each other). Upon several requests, they denied to arrange a table that could accommodate all of us together. It was a simple case of POOR PLANNING. They also, on the same day and time, seated another group of people in an elevated space in the restaurant, especially when one of the member had difficulty in climbing steps. They could have kept that space for us (which would perfectly fit group of 15) and given our table to them. People come to such restaurants to have a good time. All of this completely spoiled our dinner and it was really unfortunate for the 4 people who had to sit separate from the whole group.

A good place to go if your group can t all agree on one ethnic type of food. Generally good food, but the only dish I ve tried (about 10 times) is the Dragon Bowl!

We had a great time here for lunch today. The food and atmosphere were great but the service was even better! Our waitress Natasha was so helpful and made sure that our dietary requests were met. Thank you and we will definitely be back!

I had gone to browns for dinner with a friend, was quite disappointed in the food! The food tasted okay the temperature was just warm not hot. I assume it was sitting under the heat lamp too long! Service was so so. My friend and I arrived at the right time there wasn t any waiting yet we did wait for our food. Not only was our food not hot but they had a mouse running around. I wasn t pleased with the restaurant having mice. I how ever still paid the bill and left. I won t be coming back to this location.

Food was good but getting way too pricey like everywhere else. Paying over 20 bucks for a burger is ridiculous.

Went today with a girlfriend for Happy hour, sat in Solarium and Chloe was our Server. Chloe was amazing at her job, very impressed with Chloe and her knowledge of menu made it a fabulous evening out!

I m a very picky eater that has to make 1000 changes to my order. They followed all of the instructions and made a pretty darn good burger.

We had good service, but my food (lamb chop) had too much salt. I ate the chops except for the curry sauce. Anyway, it was Fathers Day and dont want to ruin the atmosphere.

Tried to get a table here last night and was told it was a 25 minute wait at 9:30pm on a Monday when more than half the restaurant was empty. The host still refused to seat us when I informed her we only wanted to order drinks and would be okay waiting for a bit.

Stopped in for happy hour. The menu is affordable with a decent variety. The sticky Thai chicken was definitely a favourite.

Came in about 15mins to closing which I was not aware and they do not inform us. Part of their policy which was pleasant. Had few drinks and appetizers and they are good. Server, she was very presented and friendly.

i go to this browns often and typically it s great, however it took 10 minutes to get a glass of wine, server barely checked in and people who were sat after us got their drinks quicker. food was ok, chicken strips weren t the best. browns is still great and has always been but just a negative experience this time.

I had the chicken club sandwich. The chicken on it was good but very small. It wouldnt have even gone over 1/2 the bun and was very thin. The bacon was too crispy and fell out when I tried to eat it. I was disappointed as browns is usually really good.

Beer and nachos were delicious, they were able to put meat in nachos without making them mushy.

Best nachos around .when I m craving nachos this is my go to spot . The fried chicken and pickles are good. The dip is amazing. Wish there were better pieces of chicken. A lot of deep fried crumbs and way too tiny pieces barely any chicken.

2023-10-01 Good quality food, nice and welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere. Enjoyed grilled burger and a fresh cowboy salad along with freshly squeezed orange juice. They were served with extra fries as the food took a bit long to get prepared. They also removed the burger from the bill. Awesome Service!

We are visiting from Toronto and knew nothing of Browns Social. Hotel person mentioned it along with a couple of others in the area. We chose Browns and are very happy we did! Atmosphere is fancy casual. Lots of TV with sports, but a little fancied than most sports bars. We both had Bowls, Potato Crusted Cod and Tiki Tuna, which were excellent! We almost left without dessert as we were tired from traveling, but thankfully we didnt make that mistake. The waiter, Ben, was great all night, and suggested the Carrot Cake. This is no ordinary carrot cake. OMG!! Possibly one of the best desserts I have ever had! Great overall experience! There are not any in Toronto at this time, but there is one in Oakville and Waterloo. We will be making the trek at some point!

I was in the area looking after dogs for a week and i came across this gem and ended up visiting 7 days in a row given the service, environment, and overall experience. Over the course of the 7 days it was consistent which is very unique in any environment. There was a very friendly staff member Ocean and MOD Josh who were scheduled 5 out of the 7 days I visited. They were incredibly kind and genuine not only to the customers but the entire team. This is my first time writing a review but felt strongly that this environment and team deserved positive recognition. I had the opportunity to meet the GM last night to provide feedback in persona and she was just as kind as everyone else. Although I live downtown Vancouver i will make an effort to stop in and say hello to this incredible group on my commutes to and from the valley. I encourage everyone to visit.

Vinnie served us on a busy Saturday night. He is a fabulous server. Food and drinks were great as well.

I have to say I am very disappointed with my experience here. We ve always enjoyed the food but the service here at this location is terrible. We had to wait up to 20-30 min to get our waitress to check in on us when we ve done eating. Everyone just seem to want to walk by without eye contact, not wanting to deal with us, at least that was how I felt. I was celebrating my birthday dinner with my family and this whole experience has ruined my evening. I don t expect a response but if you do then I know you care about your customers.

I had the Traditional Burger but it was anything but! For $23 this burger had the same amount of beef as a McDonald s cheeseburger. No exaggerating!! So disappointing. I also had the calamari. I remember thinking if you cant afford to fill a plate why are you serving it?! The portions were so pathetically small it was just shameful. The fries that came with my burger could have fit into the palm of my hand. When I got home I had to make dinner again. Brutal!!!

My husband and I took my parents out for dinner here a few weeks ago because the Keg was at capacity. The cheery fellow who seated us was an absolute delight. Our waitress on the other hand was completely disengaged, seemed bored and bothered, and could not have been less attentive. We ordered appetizers, she brought them, left, didnt come back to check in. She came back and cleared our table of the appetizer options and left as quick as she could without taking our dinner order. We had to flag the host to get her to come back -so we could order. When we finally got our meals we needed some salt & condiments - again we had to flag someone else down to go and get her. We could see her standing and chatting by the kitchen entrance with other staff - not looking at her section at all, and again we were presented with a bothered attitude every time she had to come over to the table. I really wish I could remember her name, but Im positive it started with a J and she wore glasses. The ONLY time she attempted lively conversation was when it came time to pay the over $200 bill. And the ONLY reason I left a tip was because I work in the service industry also and understand how tip out works. If the tip was based on her service it would have been nothing. Sorry Browns, the food wasnt bad, but we will not be back.

Most of the items in the menu card is not available. The oil they fried the wings seems old. Wings smelled little odd. Overall food is disappointing and spoiled our plans that night.

Portions have gotten insanely small. The dragon bowl barely comes with a teaspoon of sauce just so they can charge you extra for more.
