Denny's Restaurant in Langley

Food is much better than other Dennys I have been to. Prime Rib Eggs Benny was charred and tasted great compared to others at other Dennys. The pancakes are also so much more fluffier than other locations. I would recommend this location and would definitely come back.

Parking garage is adjoined to the restaurant but you have to walk outside to get to the restaurant.

No idea how the food was because we couldnt even get seated . Highly unorganized and under staffed .

Absolutely terrible service!!! Not greeted or order taken, no service, refills, waitress Was extremely rude. Food was good though.

We eat at dennys often but never been to this location and wont be again. The eggs were runny and service lacked and it was not even busy.

We had nachos and single cheese burger with apple juice. Our server Vanshika had cheerful personality. She served us so perfectly . We would love to always get served from her !

Food was cold. There was no love putting any of our meal s together! Felt insulted for having to pay for these sub par meals! Never going back!!

I do really like the location, its not ideal though for parking , they only have a few spots to park and thats next door infront of a parking garage from the residential housing (apartments). If you dont mind parking across the street then there is lots of parking via the willowbrook mall. I like this Dennys because it is often not crowded and very laid back and chill . Sometimes a bit busy and that seems to be the same except with people and talking. There is 2 parts , there is the Bar area section on one side called Bar 1 (there tap beers name). On this side you can sit at the bar or there is tables as well. A bunch of tvs all around and if you want to watch a game and its not playing I have asked and they change it for you. I like it and there is the normal traditional restaurant style with no bar on the other side. * both side both serve same food menu not to worry , only difference between the 2 sides is drinking/non drinking. You can eat with your kids as well and you can order a drink here. There is a couple things negative about this location and that is why I gave it such few stars. Food once in a while has been not up to bar and not sure why. They have gladly tried again and it was good the second try. For example my picture I have posted for this review was something that was really odd, deep fried pickles poorly made. Also on a couple occasions I have walked in and wanted to order but there was no one around to even help or order from so left without ordering. The staff is nice though , when they are around lol..all in all I would have loved to give these guys a 4 star maybe 4.5 but just because of those couple things I just told you about makes this Dennys okay. Take the kids , I believe kids eat free sometimes so just call ahead and ask, also there is happy hours , call and ask . Enjoy! Kid-friendliness: YES it is kid friendly I think that there is stuff to color and stuff to color with. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in. Im not sure about where the would sit you but should be numerous tables .

Vegetarian options: Good veggie omelet and with a fresh fruit bowl in the 55+ menu. Food

I have been going to this location for years now, something seemed different this morning, the host station appeared to be dirty. This location seems to be slowly decaying, the mens bathroom is falling apart and filthy, there is a chunk of plywood where a t.v. used to hang. My hash Browns were burnt and a smaller portion than what it used to be. The service was slow and they wouldnt even give us franks red hot sauce without an up charge. I am curious to know if it has recently had a change of ownership.

Food is as always solid and earns its reputation, especially for its birthday grand slam. Still love those peanut butter and raspberry jam packets to spread on toast lol. Great booth seating. Service can be hit and miss, usually late in not only getting out the menus to you but taking your order. What a struggle just to get their attention. Strange they do notice you more often as soon as you sit down lol as they constantly ask for feedback and top up your water. Clean washrooms. Not a fan of their parking arrangement especially late night or when it s pouring. You still need to walk around if you park at parkade unless that elevator door is locked after a certain time.

We took our soccer team for breakfast before our game, Mon morning of Sep long weekend, and had the most amazing experience. Denny s allows you to pre-order, so when we sat down our food came right out. The staff was organized, efficient, friendly and courteous. They were honestly absolutely amazing! We had 21 people (mostly kids) in and out in under 45 minutes. It was the best experience! If you need to feed your sports team, pre-order and take them to Denny s! We will be back:)

I normally do pick up orders from here on the way home from work late night , but tonight I was hung up on and then placed on hold when I called back , then the call ended because they shut their phones off for the night , tried calling back more than a couple times and their phone said they weren t taking calls , drove there to order and they said oops the boss just left and then no compensation or sorry what so ever , pretty upsetting as I used to love coming here on my way home from work for a late night snack

Service was a little slow and it wasn t busy. Two of our breakfast hash browns were over cooked and dry. Waitress did bring us 2 to go as we were in a bit of a hurry. Otherwise breakfast was good.

The cleanest Denny s I ve ever been ; but the washroom a bit smelly. I ordered the breakfast set the American one which is not bad I like the harsh brown the most. The toast was a bit over burn.

Food is excellent. Service is fast, efficient & attentive by very attentive staff. Will definitely be back. Our second visit today, was just as yummy as our first... 20240625: 4th visit today & Arshdeep Ks service was awsome, my spicy sizzling platter was excellent... Ill be back... My cat Hyde, would love it here... Parking: Parking is a little tight but doable.

Came to have lunch with my wife last Saturday, around 3pm. It was actually empty, just a few tables taken. The food is like any other Dennys, not fancy, but good. We were served by this guy, I guess the manager, super friendly and attentive, and thats what makes a difference for me. Cleaning could be a bit better.

Boyfriend and I both got food poisoning. And there was a plastic wrapper in his food.

Service was nowhere to be found. Our waitress came by our table twice (introduction with drink order and then our meal order). Food came out all once but was missing the soup. We thought they would bring out in a bit. Waited for our waitress to come back and check on our party of 4. We needed refills at that point. My husband had to go see the hostess but she told him to go find someone near the kitchen. This was by far the worst service we have ever received at a Dennys. It wasnt even busy. Place had so many empty tables. The staff need to be retrained. Not sure if management changed but it was our go to place and wee were very disappointed with the lack of service.

I just love this place. The set up is upgraded. I took my parents for my dads birthday and so we had some T-bone steaks. It was cooked perfectly, This is one of the places that the T-bone steak is reasonably priced. Differently check it out

we had 7people in the group,and ordered double cheese burger, my friend and I found the big scrap piece of a plastic in each burger we ordered and we told the server about what happended, but they didnt do anything about it.

We arrived at 1030am. We were told there would be a 20min wait. After 30min and seeing everyone that came after us being seated, we asked the hostess if there was a reason we were being skipped. Someone had crossed off our name but never called us for our table! We were then seated at a table that still had crumbs on it. Server took nearly 10min to come take our drink order so we went ahead and placed our entire order right away. Food took 35 to 40min just for breakfast and a kids burger and one of our eggs we had to send back as it was barely cooked. The waitress was amazing but the restaurant was lacking on so many levels. To top it off the bathroom was filthy and had the heat so high it was like a sauna, while the rest of the restaurant was freezing! Wasnt a good experience for our first visit to this location.

The two hostesses at the front werent super friendly. The young lady that was supposed to show us to our table just walked way ahead, threw our menus down and met us on her way back. Pointing to a general direction before telling us our table was over there. Over all the service, friendliness was definitely lacking. The food was the only thing that prevented that bill from being paid with no tip...if Im being totally honest.

Went here early morning around 4am and had the best service from Arsh she was very kind and patient

It was my first experience here, not that much rush and server was very polite and nice, he literally explained us whole menu and recommended us 5/5 to the server, but food was very bad, too oily I mean extreme oil and not at all spicy, we asked spicy one but worst food

The food is ok.. the stuff is super friendly and is willing to help you with you dietary needs..

My husband and I had an early dinner here tonight, and it was great! The service was quick, and our homestyle dinners were delicious and piping hot on (very fast) arrival. I had the pot roast dinner (tender meat, creamy potatoes, awesome!), and my husband had the chicken fried steak (he said it was fantastic!). Will definitely be back! *add-on: I dont understand the reviews saying Dennys is only for breakfast, did they not keep reading the menu? There are many pages on lunch & dinner meals (sandwiches, home cooking entrées), theres tons to choose from!

Had to send back the Ultimate Omelet- looked quite unappetizing, some kind of fluid underneath the actual omelet ??? The cream of ??? soup was all globby... Sent that back to the kitchen , too! Replaced with chicken noodle soup .... and that was great! Green salad was very good.

Honestly waited ages to get my order taken, ages for the food to arrive, ages to get a refill on a drink, ages to pay my bill. Get more staff working. 1 server does not cut it. It is not her fault but is certainly Managements fault. I used come here so often for years but overall have noticed quite the decline in quality and service. I will not be back.

Overall my food was great and delicious but my wife was disappointed with what she was told to what she got . Red potatoes are really just big hash browns and seem deep fried . She thought she was getting baked red potato cubes. I like them since they are hash browns in my eyes. Those stupid mini tv ads , I hate them , I came to enjoy food and company not get ads for the restaurant I am at .

I really feel bad writing this but I am doing it as a service to others and to put Dennys on notice that they really need to listen to their clients. This place is filthy dirty. I am legit grossed out by how dirty it is. At the very least have a staff member clean from top to bottom twice a week (should be everyday) but the amount of gross finger prints on the walls, the syrup bottles, the windows just ew. Out table was dirty.the computer at the table is full of finger smudges . The floor is soooo dirty.the dust in the shelves, I cant see myself coming here again. I feel bad because our server was so kind as was the hostess. But even when she wiped out table, it was only half of it. She didnt even move all the items too wipe under. Dennys needs quality control.. you need to hold management accountable to this. Please. Listen to your reviews ..if I were running this establishment I would respect the space and keep it clean in honor of the guests and staff.

Literally the worst breakfast experience we ever had. Food was served cold, coffee looked and tasted like dirt water. Place is filthy. Family next to us came about 20 minutes later but got served at the same time as us. Service is slow even with half empty restaurant. First and last time we went there.

I love this dennys, I drive out from maple ridge to go. I go here with my dad and little brother often on Christmas, and the service and food has been excellent every time. Plus the staff are always very cheery and friendly. The renovated inside is lovely too!

Slow service for delivery pick ups. Had to wait almost 20 minutes. If you cant handle delivery and in-house orders, dont do delivery.

Update: spoke to manager and he was very kind and heard our concerns. This is the most absolutely filthy restaurant I have ever been too. Food splatter on the walls and ceilings, dust and grease everywhere, handprints and garbage at our seat.

We had Tanu as a server. They were amazing the whole time we were there. Ive always enjoyed Dennys food, but Tanu made the experience much better with their excellent service.

The service was great, we got what we requested with no hassle. The food was great just could not eat it all. Keep up the good work

A friendly chill atmosphere with great service.

It was more dead than usual and we were one of the few in that building but it still took us about 40 mins just to sit in and get our food even when we were the very few in there for dinner. Place was still very dusty and not sanitized as you could still see the floor filled with dust and cutter. It wasnt very appetizing eating the food either in that atmosphere

Ive frequented many Dennys. This location was, I believe, a Cactus Club year ago. It has a classy atmosphere. Service was prompt, and the waitress was understanding on quickly getting my order in first. I was with friends, and had to leave for work soon. Just ordered nachos, but there was only a bunch of chips and hardly any meat sauce and cheese. Also, served in a smaller bowl, not the usual Dennys size for a half order. The surprise was they informed the chef, and then deducted my order. I wasnt going to come back, but will try them again in the future.

I really enjoy the free birthday breakfast, and we like the steak a lot, the milkshake is prepared very well. Something to consider is that the birthday breakfast only takes place inside the restaurant and thats fine, but they can do as in Calgary what one asks to be packed, but eat whatever you want for breakfast right there, unfortunately its not their policy here and I had to come back the next day to eat steak for breakfast.

Isha was the greatest server I ve ever had and I have never felt more accommodated ever. I love Denny s.

Went here last night for my mom s birthday dinner. 16 people with two hyper toddlers and a group of indecisive people making dinner selections. Our server did an awesome job and was super patient with everyone and was on the ball the entire night. The food was excellent as I got the country fried steak with the upgrade to onion rings. At first I thought the amount of rings wasn t enough but I was stuffed at the end of my meal. My brother got the turkey dinner but didn t enjoy it and the server made a substitution for another meal which was great. Everyone left happy and full but it always seems like there are large groups of people who come in at later times to eat here. I will return and our son have the restaurant a 10/10 because he loved everything Parking: Parking is an underground parkade and it s free

The food and service was just barely OK. The restaurant is run down looking. The furniture is shabby and some seats had tears in the upholstery. The staff either werent trained properly in food service or werent interested in their work. There was only 2 other tables there while we were there from 5-7 on a Wednesday. We would have gone elsewhere but we had limited time to visit with the folks we were with. Weve enjoyed meals at other Dennys so we were very disappointed. Im not sorry to say that its best to find somewhere else to eat.

I visited Langley for a weekend and had breakfast here each morning. The food was excellent and the service was awesome. I will be back.

we gathered as a family at 5am post saying last goodbye to our mother at Hospice. Only to find the restaurant doesn t have heat and apparently never has. staff was amazing and so apologetic. we got the feeling, as she served us in her parker, that this is normal poor working conditions. shame!!!!

The heat wasnt working and the service was mediocre. Our server really didnt want to be there and you could feel it. Many times we had ask several times for things. We asked to see manager and he showed up very unprepared to speak to us with two credit machines and wires hanging from his hands. Due to the fact that the heat wasnt working, the least they could do is offer a little something to the customers as they freeze in the restaurant. Not impressed with this Dennys!

Breakfast foods are great, thats all I ever order however I hear they make good burgers too. Refill on coffee can sometimes be tough to get but other than that I love going here.

We came in to dine on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful experience with Gital B as our server. She was quick to greet us, brought our drinks promptly and helped me decide two menu items. Gital was extremely sweet, attentive and knowledgeable. She also didn t ask us how the food was while we were stuffing our faces. Impeccable timing! We will be back just to sit in her section!

I m not expecting much, an old school Grand Slam, nothing spectacular. But when your bill is almost $50 just for breakfast and coffee!? Then the bacon shouldn t be burnt on one side and almost raw on the other. The eggs shouldn t taste like rubber and the sausages shouldn t be cold. The server was ok but you can tell they are just doing what they are told by some stressed out owner, and not much else. OEB always has a line, so Denny s gets the over flow, but the brand name Denny s no longer means quality diner food, it s overpriced poorly made mall food. You are better off eating at Micky D s to get a decent hot breakfast but even that s gonna cost you $20.

My friend and I visit Dennys langley about every two weeks. Food and portions are good BUT out main reason is the waitress Gittel. She is probably the waitress we have ever come across. She is wonderful. She remembers our orders and makes feel welcomed everytime. 5 stars are for her!

Food and service was really good.

This is the best Dennys location Ive visited in the lower mainland. It has more of a luxurious feel compared to other locations as its combined with the Bar One restaurant. Its definitely worth visiting for the complimentary birthday breakfast. The staff could do with a lot of training. Be prepared to wait a long time for poor service.

7am on a Tuesday and.... I got ice cold eggs and medium warm sides and warm orange juice. Yuck! I was really looking forward to my breakfast on arrival. The young woman hostess in the blue shirt at the door this morning was unfriendly and seemed to be arguing with everyone...My lady server in the red shirt was awesome she gave me 25% off the bill for my cold food. My stomach was queasy rest of the morning.

Pretty drab location, but, food was on the better side for Dennys, the staff were super friendly, would certainly return.
