I like the atmosphere. Very cozy. Food is good but they don t have lots of varieties.

Great food and wonderful service

This is a beautiful boutique restaurant. The decor cant be beat! The food is very good, but there are very few entree options but lots of appies, at least at lunch on at Saturday, so if youre going out for drinks and wonderful snacks, this is the place! The menu choices are creative and unusual, a real break from the usual choices. Highly recommended.

Had dinner tonight at Food by Fanta. Excellent dinner. We ordered appetizers for dinner, the eggplant fries were so good. Everything was excellent. We also had the prawn bao, Siam sliders, chicken stuffed dumplings and the flower dumplings. Also the Sangria flight and coconut expresso martini topped it all off. Yummy.

We came to Food by Fanta to celebrate my wifes birthday and we were not disappointed at all. The dumplings were amazing to start and we really enjoyed our mains of the yellow curry garlic chicken and the sous vide Thai Khao Soi steak. The drinks and service were both fantastic and we felt very well taken care of. I would highly recommend Food by Fanta and cant wait for our next visit! Update- We visited Food by Fanta again for lunch and had another great experience. The midnight burger and fish and chips special were delicious and I would highly recommend the sangria flight. We received great service as always. We will absolutely be coming back again.

Absolutely delicious food and drinks! Service was good and atmosphere and decor is very nice. Never disappointed when we go. We shared the dumpling appetizer. Husband had the lamb shank and I had the sablefish risotto. So so good!

My husband and I got married here. They have a incredible space in the back of the restaurant for events. The food is phenomenal, the staff is incredible and kind. The decor and ambiance is stunning.

Highly recommend! Officially one of my favourite restaurants - our dinner was of course delicious but I truly believe it was elevated by the overall experience and the warm and welcoming service we received. I m so glad that we chose to come here and try the feature menu (the tom margarita mocktail was our favourite). I will absolutely be back, many times again. Thank you!!:)

Went there for the first time, not sure why people give 4.4 to this place. My dumplings were dry as a chalk, so was my service. Did not feel the warmth that you feel when you walk in into a restaurant; no greetings, no smiles. Rather I felt judged for being there and had to order food just for the sake of it. Highly recommend people to do their research before they come and spend $20 on a cocktail.....$20 for cocktails?!?!? Over all experience was poor. Do not recommend even for date night.

Checked out this spot in Langley in hopes of trying the soufflée pancakes on the brunch menu. Our waitress was really nice but the service was really slow. My coffee took almost 15 minutes to arrive. After we placed the order, I was informed it would be a 40 minute wait for the pancakes which I had anticipated (explained on the menu). The waitress came back later and said the chef that was in today wasn t able to make the pancakes and said if I wanted to try them I should come back the following week as the chef who could make them would be in. I found this really odd. If the chef working that day can t make the pancakes then maybe they should be removed from the menu and featured as a special when the chef who can make them is in? I ordered the waffle instead as there aren t many veggie options and it was pretty mediocre. It got really soggy with all the stuff on the top and the ice cream was really icy. This place looks really cute on the inside and our waitress was nice but definitely some food misses on a $50 brunch. Parking: Not much parking on the one way street.

After reading a few posts of this place -decided to give it a try for a birthday dinner. Place was not busy but service was at a minimal, with water not refilled and quite unprofessional handling of the bday cake we brought to the restaurant. There was no mention of cake cutting fee of $20 when booking was made. It was told to us at door, which is fine honestly. But comes cake cutting time. The cake was brought out STILL in the box and plates were given to us with no forks. We had to ask for forks AND ask if they have candles. Candles were given but now the lighter is missing, we waited so long. So when we asked what is the cake cutting fee is for?! They said it is for the extra plates they need to wash. Again, we honestly don t mind paying the fee, if there was really service - at the least, the cake should be taken out of the box?! Drinks were ok. We thought this drink looked really pretty, looked like change of colour because of the mixology but turned out it is cause of the glassware. Food were on the better side. Everything was tasty. We had 5 people, all of us ordered a main course and two appetizers to share. We also ordered a dessert to share (the Thairamisu) despite we brought our own cake. But the Thairamisu was frozen, difficult to eat. Don t think it was defrost in time and it is still frozen. Would we come back again?! Likely not. Once is enough.

Ordered Siam sliders and taro fries when we hot home the Siam sliders were a mess they were not put together properly the buns were soggy shrimp and lettuce wasnt even on the bun this is not the first time but will be the very last time I order from here again

Yum and yum ! Went for my daughters Birthday, as she wanted the gluten free dumplings (she is celiac) They we aware and took care no cross contamination. I loved everything we had! My girlfriend has been wanting to try this restaurant for the past couple of years, and we finally had a chance to check it out yesterday. The atmosphere and plating for each dish we ordered looked aesthetically pleasing but taste lacks flavor. We had 6 dishes total and they all tasted much of the same(a bland-ish red curry kind of flavor), the fish and chips was also dry and sauces were unoriginal. Unfortunately service was also lacking as there were an abundance amount of staff yet communication and attentiveness was not there even though we were the only table at the time. Very disappointing considering they are supposed to be a fine dining restaurant.

Dietary restrictions: Not many options if youre gluten AND egg free, there are some separate options Parking: Street parking is extremely limited, especially on weekends. It can take a while to get in and out since its on a one-way street

The best place for lunch

We made a reservation for our family on fathers day. We waited over 2 HOURS for our food. We had 3 toddlers with us so the wait was very challenging. We werent offered any appetizers etc while we waited and had to basically tell them it was unacceptable and we should not be paying for our meal. After a hour an a half we asked what they were going to do for us and said only a 25% discount. They said the food would come out in 15 mins. 15 mins past and they said 10-15 mins. We were ready to leave at this point and after more than 2 hours we finally got our food brought out one item after another. My uncles omelette was cold and we didnt really enjoy it at that point. My brother in law talked to them and they did end up giving us the food on the house which the 100% should have done and probably more. There was little to no communication with us throughout the entire wait time. We used to love this place but were very disappointed in the service and lack of communication. We had a reservation, it wasnt like it was a walk in. I think they opened the back room for guests and did not have the proper staffing to accommodate so many customers on that day which unfortunately ruined our fathers day lunch. Overall very disappointing experience.

Phenomenal! Went to Food by Fanta yesterday for their Brunch and Cannot wait to come here again! Need to try more of their menu items, drinks and especially their dinner menu. Absolutely everything my friends and I ordered (Drinks and food) was visually gorgeous and absolutely delicious! With the strange theme of restaurants, putting in intense effort into making their restaurants, visually Instagram friendly and failing miserably on the actual flavor profile/ quality of their food.. Food by Fanta is a breath of fresh air! A-MA-ZING! We ordered: Menagerie French Toast Brulée Namprik Ong Prawn Bao x2 Siam Sliders Seared Mango Tuna Fish and Chips Coconut Crème Brûlée Alcoholic drinks and Mocktails ALL DELICIOUS! Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating to the best of their logical capabilities, with the few dietary adjustments that we requested.

Such a fun place! So so so tasty. The decor is soft and feminine. The waffles are to die for the bacon was crispy. The Mango mimosas were a bit to champagne heavy for our liking but it wasnt bad my sis just couldnt finish hers she was driving.

There was a smell like washroom whe you open the door but I cant tell if it was coming from the restaurant or just the hallway itself... Food - The food was delicious! Flavourful, presentation was beautiful and the food smelled great. Drinks - I could do without the drinks but still good. The green apple spritzer my mother in law liked!

The first thing we noticed when we walked in is the horrendous stench. If you can get over the smell, you ll be able to enjoy the non flavorful food. We had the dumplings, eggs beny, soufflé pancakes and chicken and waffles. All popular menu items. Solid 2/10 for all. Sangria flight was 10/10, super sweet if you re into that. Service was also great. The restaurant has nice decor/aesthetic but there is nothing else of value. This is also just the opinion of me and my companions only!!

Horrible experience. The waiter with blonde hair was extremely rude when we did not leave a tip as tipping is not mandatory if we did not like the food. Super expensive for small quantities.

First time here. I LOVED it. Vancouver folks its worth the drive. Service and ambience are amazing. The food was spectacular. From the non alcohol mojito, to the dumplings, and chicken and waffles. Simply divine. Well worth $35.

It was a weekend family brunch and we just loved the place! Ambience,service,taste,presentation everything was perfect. Just loved it!

It took 32 minutes from being seated until we got our first drink. All other service was also extremely slow despite an abundance of wait staff. Edit: After leaving a 3/5 star review as a result of a bad experience, the owner invited me to email them to discuss the issues further. They didnt respond to the email I sent. Found this restaurant as a recommendation on tiktok and thought it would be the perfect girls date! My best friend and I drove from Vancouver to try out this restaurant and heres the breakdown of our experience. True to what they say on tiktok/reviews the atmosphere is amazing. Its a cute restaurant with lots of flowers and adorable decor. Very aesthetically pleasing and the food itself was also plated very well and aesthetically pleasing. I will say I definitely noticed that weird smell that another review mentioned. When you first walk in theres a very strange unpleasant smell. The food in my opinion was only so so for the price. The non alcoholic drinks was super tasty! I got the mango supreme and my best friend for the Siam smash and both drinks were super tasty but everything else was kinda downhill from there. I ordered the avocado shrimp toast. It costed about $15-18(cant remember exact price) and it comes with two slices of bread, avocado and two pieces of shrimp on top each bread. For that price I wouldve liked to see at least three shrimps per toast but it definitely was on the pricey side considering the portion. My best friend ordered the omelette and it was okay but nothing spectacular. Decent portion for the $16-19$ price tag (again dont remember exact price). To end the meal off we both ordered dessert. I opted for the thairamisu and it did say it was going to be an icecream style. It was super icey and a bit bland to be honest. It was underwhelming for the price which I believe was in the $12-15$ range. My best friend ordered the bannoffee crumble and it definitely looked very aesthetically pleasing. Overall its a very very cute restaurant (despite the weird off-putting smell). The non alcoholic drinks were so good! But the food lacks a little.

Great aesthetic place! I love all the plants and cute antique decor. It was really well thought through! However, the food was lacking in creativity and flavour. Presentation was beautiful but for the price, I would say its a pass. Id rather eat yummy food over restaurant aesthetics. Besides, thats what youre paying right? Would not return.

A beautiful restaurant serving up gorgeous Thai inspired food and drinks on the one way in Downtown Langley! Sampled many of their appies and they are as tasty as they are pretty to look at. Everything is house made, from the buns to the noodles (and everything in between). They are crafting food with unusual textures and interesting, exotic flavours you won t see everywhere! The cocktails and cocktails are also very yummy!

A bit overrated, ordered an appetizer and a omelette but they are both pretty sweet my blood sugar was up after that meal. But the service and atmosphere were amazing and authentic stylish and have a touch of French.

When you look at the menu it certainly feels very appealing and you are instantly excited by the confusion of what to order coz everything seems interesting. We ordered the Sakoo Pop from the special menu and then Fish & chips, chor muangi (flower dumplings) and scallop fettuccine pad cha from the regular menu. For us we always give more weight to the food than to the service & atmosphere/ambience, and no complains for the latter. Everything was visually appealing. The food was certainly good and bar raising but there were a few things that stood out in the tad negative for us - 1/ We ordered Sakoo pop and chor muangi and while the vessels that carried them were different (meaning one was a ball while the other a flowery dumpling) but the taste was essentially same , and not sure if it actually, but the filling seemed exactly same. In such a case, the staff should recommend customers to order either one of them and pick a different dissimilar item. 2/ Fish and chips didnt stand out in any way. The coating on the fish just had a tad crunch but overall the middle portion was almost soft (not soggy, but not crisp). The perfect crisp/crunch was missing which we long for in Fish & chips style fried fish. The fish itself was cooked perfectly from inside . The 2 of the 3 sauces were unique and went well. 3/ Fettuccine was good, but the pad cha base sauce felt a little bland, since it didnt coat the pasta enough and the shaved Parmesean cheese overpowered the sauce in most of the bites. The cook on the fettuccine pasta itself as well as the scallops was perfect.

Second visit and just love this place , food is always good. Must try is souffle pancake

Lovely Thai fusion restaurant. Had the flower dumplings, lamb shank, and Thairamisu dessert. Everything was delicious, presentation was great, and the waitstaff were delightful. Its out of our usual price range but a fantastic choice for a special occasion.

pasta was over cooked, both me and my partner got different kinds from the Valentine s day menu and both were over cooked but flavour was decadent just mediocre. The flower dumplings took the cake though as they were spiced to perfection and delicious, my only critique there was lack of an acid like a dipping sauce but that was by far the best thing we had. I hate to say it as someone who has worked in the service industry and managed restaurants but the service was borderline awful. The server was kind enough but his inability to time certain things like; bringing the check within 5-10 minutes (that s me being generous) rather than waiting 25 minutes in total for him to bring the check and the machine over even though I had my card out for more than half that time is just unacceptable. I also noticed he did this with another table as well. He also could not pour wine properly but that was probably lack of training/could just be me being pretentious. In all the experience wasn t awful, if our server had been more attentive and mindful of how much time he was taking I feel like my rating would be better but unfortunately that just put a damper on things.

Exceptional food. Everything tasted fresh and seasonings were perfect. Service was elegant; we were taken care of without being overly serviced. I always appreciate a brief description of what were having, thank you. Server was well educated about the menu and able to comply with our vegetarian needs. One of the best part of the experience was the decore of the restaurant! Wow, what a gorgeous place!

Min was attentive and prompt! My husband and I wanted to try this restaurant and we had a great experience. It looks like a small place from outside, but when you enter thru the door and down the lushy hallway, you ll find two beautiful areas, nicely decorated and with ample seating room even for large groups. The food is western style, fresh and delicious. I had de artic cha and my hubby had the scallop fettuccini, plus the mango seared tuna. The prices are decent and the portions as well. Nice gem in the heart of Langley, worth trying.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I had high hopes going in. Food was very bland no flavour. Asked for salt and pepper and our waitress huvored over us to get the shakers back. I m a foodie and love to cook. I just don t see the hype! Some dishes seemed very well plated. Pleasant looking restaurant. We went at 8:00 pm. Waitress had no recommendations as she is still waiting to try more items on the menu.

The best brunch I ve ever had! The service was great, and the food was out of this world. Our favorite was the French toast!

Really great tasting and great looking food, easy going service, and a good atmosphere. This is a good date place, or even somewhere to try some new things. That nachos may not have been traditional, but they were very tasty, the soup was really flavourful, the Pad Cha was great (dont let the black noodles scare you; its a very easy pasta dish) and the steak was hearty.

This place is so amazing. It s like Thai infusion but very modern. The owner Fanta has a traditional Thai place by Douglas Park, when she opened this one I definitely had to try it. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are lovely. You definitely have to try this spot out! Great for a brunch spot with the girls also.

Summary: Food focused on presentation and appearance but lacking in flavour or substance. Very bland and expensive. You are better off spending your hard earned money elsewhere. Came in at dinner time and ordered the following. Items Ordered -Sangria Flight -Flower Dumplings -Midnight Burger -Sablefish Risotto Review: Food focused on presentation and not much flavour! But hey, at least it looks pretty for photos for social media if you re into that. We started off with the sangria flight. Colourfully presented. It came with 3 different flavours of sangria. They were decently flavoured. The popular flower dumplings were ordered and they lacked flavour. They were very doughy and the fillings were so bland. The coconut milk drizzled on top of these dumplings contributed to an overall odd flavour, reminiscent of chewing doughy paste with a hint of strange sweetness. These are popular based on their appearances only, as there is no flavour whatsoever. Sablefish Risotto was next. The sablefish is known to be quite mild in flavour and soft textured which is understandable. However the sablefish risotto here is quite flavourless and super bland! It ended up feeling like mushy rice with flaky fishy bits! The most flavourful part of the risotto was the slightly burnt kale that garnished the top of it. The midnight burger was one of our mains. It tasted pretty typical of a burger. It came with yam fries and taro fries. The taro fries, although unique, were very bland and had such thick cuts that they were very dry and unpleasant to chew cause they were also lacking in flavour. The burger itself was average and probably the most flavourful dish we had although we found the bun to be quite dry. Service: Service was decent and friendly. However we booked reservations and arrived on time, however our table was not ready and we were left waiting at the door for 10 minutes. Atmosphere: Restaurant was nicely decorated with all the plants. The chairs, tables and lighting does indeed enhance the environment, but this is where it ends as food is the main draw. Overall: If you re into showing off things on Instagram this is a good place for it.. But if you re looking for flavour this place does not have it.

5 stars! I took my aunt for her 75th birthday brunch. The waiter was amazing. I asked what his recommendation would be, after asking if I more enjoyed sweet or savory, he recommended the golden Benny and it did not disappoint! The presentation of the food was stunning right down to the beautiful edible flowers garnished on the food. The ambience was relaxing and the decor was gorgeous right down to the chandeliers and live plants. Top notch service! I ordered a drink that didnt taste right and after one sip, he replaced it no questions. To end our amazing brunch, he surprised my aunt with a special birthday treat. I will be back as food by fanta is my new favorite restaurant (besides their sister restaurant ban chok dee Thai cuisine) They truly know how to wow customers. Im not sure what happened, but they need to wash their salad/vegetables.. Found a worm in my salad.. Came here on good Friday. It was my 1st time after reading reviews and seeing the pictures I had to visit. Decor is beautiful/unique, and the service was excellent (Shoutout to our server Maddy for positive vibes and attentive service) The food and drinks were delicious! Just lost my appetite after seeing the worm. Once I forget about the dancing worm, I might be back.

Beautiful presentation but food is not so great. Dumplings had no flavour, and were dry. Everything else was pretty much the same tone. I was excited to try this place and tried to love it but was disappointed. Sangria flight was the highlight of lunch.

Sawasde! OK so after seeing review on Food by Fanta in Langley I had to go! Definitely a nice fusion of Thai and American food. Started off with the Rainbow Sangria Flight, they all had a hint of bright fruits and lychee, and there was white, rose and red wine. The red wine was more berry flavour but these are strong and very tasty. We had the Chor Muang Flower Dumplings Traditional Thai Flower Dumplings, stuffed with Chicken (2), Pork (2) and Veggie (1) seasoned filling with Peanut, Sweet Radish, Onion & Cilantro. These are very good. I do prefer a finer chop on the filling but they were yummy. Hubby tried the Siam Sliders 3 uniquely different sliders with homemade buns: Lemongrass Chicken, Green Mango & Red Curry in a Beetroot Bun Grilled Prawn, Green Mango & Yellow Curry in Pumpkin Bun Grilled Marinated Pork, Green Mango & Green Curry in a Spinach Bun & Asparagus with a Red Curry & Basil Different and the prawn was so good. I went with the Hidden Gold Benny Their take on Eggs Benedict, with a Poached Egg in a seasoned Pork Ball Wrap, Served on Bacon, Lettuce & Ham over Herbal Fries & asparagus with a Red Curry, Basil, White Wine Hollandaise Sauce OMG this made me sooooo happy! It was like a Scotch egg and the sauce was outstanding! There was not a scrap of food left on my plate is was THAT good! The service was pleasant and attentive. My husband did mention it was my birthday but no offer of a free dessert so that was a bummer. Now we want to go to their Thai restaurant Ban Chok Dee.

Me and my boyfriend went for dinner last night and we are very amazed with the service and the food il Say it is one of the best meal i ever had in my life , plating is beautiful its like in 5 star - hotel , I have the home -made fettucine pasta with scallops , that was excellent , and my boyfriend had the yellow chicken curry, which is unbelievable , yummy we had the garlic chicken roll As a appetizer , it is authentic how they make the sauce , and the taste is super good as well.over - all , it is excellent , we loved to come back soon .

The aesthetic of the restaurant is beautiful. However, the food was lacking in flavour & the service was really slow. Their drinks were very tasty, but food left a lot to be desired. Bathrooms definitely need maintenance, the baseboards were covered with dust and the walls around the toilets need to be cleaned. We came here due to the hype on tiktok but were very disappointed. Our food was ice cold by the time it got to us. For the price and hype, I was expecting more. EDIT: my sister got food poisoning from their eggs Benedict dish

Culinary Art! Do yourself a favour and experience this amazing venue. The chef is Thai, trained in France. The flavours are just out of this world. I took a friend for her birthday and spent around $50 for lunch. We started with the pasta flowers filled with amazing ingredients and then I had the Hidden Gold Benny. What a beautiful and tasty meal! My friend had the garlic chicken salad wraps and she was sooo full. Reservations are required and I know why - very popular. If youre looking for a culinary dining experience that you cannot find in Vancouver, take a little drive to Langley. You wont be disappointed. Cant wait to go back. Vegetarian options: A very diverse menu. Vegetarians would have no problem eating here. Parking: Downtown main street of old Langley. Free parking all around, within walking distance. Kid-friendliness: Personally, I would not go back if there were lots of kids. The menu is sophisticated and really seems to be more of an adult venue. IMHO. Wheelchair accessibility: The front door has a lip at the bottom of the doorframe thats about 1-2. I know because I tripped right over it. If theres another entrance, I didnt see it.

Uniquely decorated restaurant. The interior setting itself is worth a visit to dine in. Weve been here for both dinner and lunch. Its quite delightful that folks tend to order about the same dishes. Could be because the menu is curated and has a fixed number of crowd favorites. The food is delicious nonetheless and the flights are on point. Highly recommend.

It s overpriced and the food is terrible and bland.

This restaurant is truly a hidden great prices and even greater food. You can be full and still want to eat more its that good! The staff is amazing! The decor transports you to another place. I enjoyed my first time here so much that I took my mom for lunch 2 days later! Definitely a must try for anyone. I advise making a reservation though

Very nice boutique feel to this restaurant. Have been before and had to come back for the sous vide steak. Was again delicious and will be back.

Atmosphere - The ambience of the restaurant was very serene and picturesque. It had a forestry vibe which exuded calmness and tranquility. In all, it was a mix of elegance and the beauty of great music. Service - The waiter was brilliant and knew his job. He was able to recommend the Ballerina chicken wings on a bed of yam fries as appetizer which was flavourful. The mango and honey mix was a great twist. For main meal, he recommended the fish with yam fries which was marinated in beer with 3 different dips for myself and the Yellow Chicken for my friend. For wine, we had the Cabernet Sauvignon which complemented the meal in every way possible. Sad, I didn t get his name, but he was charming to say the least. The location is in downtown Langley, which enabled a stroll after dinner. It was a brilliant experience and I will recommend going to Food by Fanta for special moments and events. Vegetarian options: I didn t have this option, but I believe the menu accommodated this preference. Dietary restrictions: They were kind to ask if you had allergies upon making the reservation and the waiter asked upon taking our orders Parking: Parking was fairly easy and free. Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the ground floor, so wheel chairs wouldn t be such a hassle. The hallway leading to the dining area might be a little bit of a challenge though with a wheelchair.

Chilled vibe. Food and servers were great. Deducting a star because it took about an hour from the time we ordered to getting our entrees.

Arrived for our reservation on time, waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged at the door. We were seated for our reservation about 5 minutes after the host greeted us- however our table was empty and ready for us to be seated the whole time we waited. The server took another 15 minutes to greet us at the table- the restaurant was not busy at the time. Placed order for 3 drinks, which took 30 minutes for us to receive. Placed order for food and that took 45 minutes to receive. The server did not update us on how long it would be, or apologize for the absurdly long wait. While we were waiting for drinks and food, the staff was standing around having conversations amongst each other instead of providing simple customer service. The food was cold by time we received it. We were very excited to eat at this restaurant but we left very disappointed at the service and food. We won t be returning or suggesting others to visit.

Food by Fanta serves one of my favorite chicken wings. The chicken wings are tender, boneless, juicy, beautiful and crispy. The service is friendly.

Had reservations for Sunday afternoon, we showed up and it was very busy. Our reservation was a little delayed but our group was super understanding. However when we were sat at our table, we were completely forgotten about for about 30 mins. No menus, no server. We had to pull up the menus on our phone. Finally a server came by to pour us water and thanked us for our understanding - we didnt know what we were understanding because nothing was communicated to us. We were sat down at 1:36 and did not order until after 2 pm. We were frustrated as tables that were sat after us had already been given their drinks. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time and still had nothing come out for at least 25 minutes.... again we were thanked for our patience and understanding while again nothing was communicated to us. At this point we told our server we were just going to leave without food and drinks but he assured us it would be out in a couple minutes and that we would recieve a discount. A couple minutes later we had our food and half of our table had drinks. 2 of us girls were still waiting for our Sangria flights which we were told would be out right away. Still another 15 minutes went by, no drinks. By this time our food was done and we just wanted to leave. When our flights finally came out we asked for the bill so we could leave and again we were thanked for our patience and understanding. Our bills were distributed with 10% discount, Im sorry but that was a complete joke. Here is $15 off a $150 bill for waiting almost 1.5 hours for a drink? Because we didnt tip we were asked what could have been done better next time, well first of all not being ignored would be #1. We were sat down and then completely forgotten about. Because of this experience will absolutely not be back. Instagrammable drinks do NOT make up for terrible service and being made to feel unwelcome. Also have to point out that we were a group of 4 girls where half of us were servers at one point and know for a fact that this should have not happened, busy or not. Its not hard to check in with a table and communicate.

So I came here with a couple of girlfriends for Sunday brunch, we made a reservation and we were really excited and wanted to like this place but it turned out to be an awful experience. I understand this is a busy place but there is absolutely no reason we should have to wait over 30 minutes just to see a server and get a menu when we were in a high traffic pathway where we saw three different servers working, hosts walking past looking at us and doing nothing. After finally flagging someone down to order (off the menus we googled on our phones) we waited another 45 minutes just for 2 out of the 4 drinks we ordered and at that point we had tried to leave twice but the server kept saying it would be right out and don t worry he s going to discount it. After another 15 minutes, we got the other two drinks (which tasted like straight simple syrup with flowers). We did get our food about an hour and a half in and it was mediocre at best, we didn t even have cutlery, no quality check from our server or really any work done by anyone other than the cooks. All in all our server discounted 10% of our food only so we still spent $150 on this awful experience we tried to leave multiple times. I definitely don t recommend this place no matter how instagramable it is, it does not mean you can treat people so rudely.

Good by Fanta is absolutely amazing, great staff and service along with amazing food and drinks! We attended recently for my birthday dinner and it was extremely enjoyable and everyone had an amazing meal. I recommend the lamb shank, and the tuna! I did get the sangria flight which was a little too sweet for me, but then had the lavender martini and it was delicious! Beautiful space, love all the plants, decor and atmosphere!! Would recommend and cannot wait to go back!

The food and the service at this place are exceptional. Its very eclectic in the atmosphere is beautiful. However, be aware its very very cold and despite asking and other patrons also raising concerns that it was too cold, the temperature could not be adjusted due to a preset. This really made for an unfortunate dining experience. Fortunately our food came very quickly, we ate and left. Dessert would have been had by some in our group but it was just too cold to stay. So go! Just dress. Warmly,. Vegetarian options: There are some good vegetarian options. However no vegan options. I was able to make a few changes to two menu items but wish there were at least a few vegan items available.

A party of 3, we were first time guests here for a birthday lunch. We heard of this place through word of mouth. The food was beautifully presented and was also tasty. However, unfortunately the service did fall flat. The server was polite enough, but they seemed very overwhelmed, and as a result our experience suffered a bit. We were unable to find our server when we needed things, and we were shorted important things like cutlery, and straws for our Sangria and had to go retrieve them ourselves. We had also made a reservation for this meal, so it was a bit disappointing. Perhaps this was just a bad day. I would potentially give them another try.

This place feels like youre walking into a little boutique café. Its like a fusion of a French patisserie and Thai restaurant The food was a work of art! My favourite were the dumplings (2 chicken, 2 pork, 1 veggie) and the Siam Sliders (pork, chicken and prawn). I have to say the veggie dumpling was my favourite, it was the most flavourful and moist. The combination af spice, savory and sweet was harmony on my palate. Service and ambience when I went was chaotic, difficult to get the servers attention and took way too long to take our orders. Possibly due to lack of staffing for the day....which can happen. Highly recommend making reservations as this place is always packed. It is $$$$ Vegetarian options: It would be nice if there were a few more veg option than whats on current menu.

A friend and I decided to treat ourselves to something special and were not disappointed.

What a cool spot in Langley! Everything was great. The servers are super nice, very knowledgeable. The food was hot, and yummy! The drinks strong and yummy as well. I recommend the cauliflower and coconut crème brûlée. Very pleased with this spot.

Food and drinks were really good in this small gem in Langley. Came here for a date night with my wife and really enjoyed the atmosphere. There are a lot of great options to choose from. Food by Fanta did lose a star from me because our mains came out Luke warm bordering on cold. Had to send back my lamb to be reheated, my wife was too modest to send back her pasta. This is unfortunate because the food was delicious, and you could definitely see the technical aspects of the French and Thai fusion. I would definitely return in hopes they can redeem themselves.

The service was great, but the food was not good. Do not order the King Oyster Mushroom Risotto. The Sous Vide Thai Khao Soi Steak had a good presentation, but the taste was just okay. I did not think it was a dish worth its price. I would not come back again to this restaurant.

This beautiful hidden gem is such a wonderful experience. The decor, the service and above all the excellent fresh food! Everything we have tried is so full of flavour, fresh and the presentation is an art! Dietary restrictions: I can t eat soy and am so happy I can eat all their wonderful dishes.

Delicious food especially the tamarind chicken

My friends from school took me out for my birthday yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The care the chefs put into their food prep and presentation is exemplary even down to their Sangria flights which were in themselves a work of art. It was a visual celebration of food and tasted amazing. My girlfriends second time having the chicken and waffles....she highly recommended this dish.

Very easy paced. Food is absolutely delicious with huge portions! Their squash soup, perfect! The atmosphere and decor transport one to a completely different country, hard to place, but beautiful. Service I gave 4 stars as it took a while for our server to bring our bill. They also offer Thai cooking classes across the corridor, something I will be looking into .

My fiancé and I had dinner here for our anniversary. He made a reservation and kept it secret until we got there.. We usually go to Vancouver downtown for special dinners but this restaurant will be on our list from now on. We tried salad, char, and tuna with a glass of Merlot. Everything was great. So happy to have this in Langley especially when it s hard to find locally owned restaurants and food made with passion and care. Thank you for the great experience.

The dishes were beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, hot, and tasty. The service was great, and the staff kind and attentive. The Coconut Creme Brulee was the best I have ever had.

Deceptively large with a small front, beautiful decor - elegantly bright and cheerful - this is a winner!! Staff were so professional and attentive; it was like being in a 5 star restaurant in a large city. A definite fine dining experience because of them alone, but then theres the food....once people find out about this place, youll need reservations in advance. The pictures speak for themselves: exquisite, tasty, and a great mouth feel. All the food we ate was amazing. Not a single complaint, and we had different appetizers, drinks and entrees. Our group could chat and hear each other talk, so the ambient noise was perfect. Parking close by may be difficult to find at certain times of the day but there is street parking in front. Outstanding.

The Sous Vide Steak was flavourful with a kick of spice and the drink was delicious, tropical flavour. The ambiance and decor gives a classy vibe. Perfect for a girls night out or a date night. awesome experience! All the staff are nice. ordered the midnight burger and chicken waffle, tasted good! burger patty is homemade and very juicy! The waffle is very moist and the chicken is well seasoned! Taro fries are really good!! also ordered a mojito, it is very fresh and good! Parking: it is a bust area, so it might be difficult to get a spot. Depending on how busy that area is.

The Benny was very interesting and well made! Got to try to believe! Kudos to the owner for making this happen with all the apprenticeship going on.

Had dinner here 12/1/2023 I unfortunately had a negative experience at this establishment. My overall opinion is that this restaurant is all style and no substance. Everything looks Lovely, but was not cooked well enough to warrant the prices. Cocktails : okay Bathrooms : clean APPETIZERS : Chor Muang Flower Dumplings (average) This did not quite hit the mark for me, the dumplings were one not in flavour, which would be sweet. I could not through taste establish the difference between the chicken or the beef dumplings because it was too sweet. only 1 veg dumpling. not worth the 17 dollars for 5 dumplings. Main : Sous Vide Thai Khao Soi Steak (poor) This was a Sous Vide steak. The waitress informed me that this should be cooked medium rare. Mine was cooked well done. Sent this steak back to be remade. The person whom i assume is the manager came to inform me that all the steaks were cooked the same via sous vide. which means all the steaks were cooked well done. this steak was NOT reverse seared after the sous vide process which means it was not overcooked during this process. a medium rare steak using sousvide method should be cooked in this range 129°F / 54°C to 134°F / 57°C. (theoretically impossible to overcook) Decided to get a different main course : Yellow Curry Garlic Chicken (poor) Could not really eat this as the chicken was very overcooked , dry and stringy. Did not even eat half of this. Decided against dessert My experience here was terrible. on top of this. there was not compensation, appology or anything. The didnt comp my wine , nothing. Service : The waitress was pleasant, but overall service was slow Dont come here to eat. While everything looks beautiful, the eating experience was not very good. I expect more for the prices Which for me land squarely in the fine dining category.

FOOD REVIEW Went here with my partner and a friend as a walk-in earlier this evening and we ordered some drinks, appies and an entree. My drink (the Barbie martini) was pretty fun--brightly pink with lots of fruity and floral flavours. It was fun, and I thought the pricing was fair ($15). The appetizer we shared was Chor Muang Flower dumplings. As a person of Asian descent, I was excited to try these as they were beautifully presented as we saw them come out of the kitchen, but I was a little disappointed with how doughy they were. I understand that youd probably use a bit more wrapper to form the petals but it felt like it was a bit too much dough wrapper. I almost feel that these dumplings could benefit from a dipping sauce, but I may be basing my expectations on Chinese dumplings which typically have a vinegar-based sauce to cut through the oil, or having a soy-based dipping sauce for Japanese gyoza. Perhaps its just me but I also felt that the flavouring used for the three types of dumplings felt too similar to each other, as they tasted the same. The sablefish risotto was not too bad. The sear on the fish was pretty nicely done and it wasnt overcooked--tenderly juicy on the inside. The risotto itself was okay--made with portabello mushrooms and Swiss but it did have a green sauce as a garnish which had a bit of sweetness to it. Im unsure what was in the sauce but I almost feel like you didnt need it, or as much of it to carry the already well-balanced flavours from the sablefish, mushrooms, cheese, and the lemon garnish. I think if I had to recommend an action for this dish, Id cut back on whatever sweet green sauce used on this dish. CLEANLINESS AND AMBIENCE The washroom was very clean, which to me is a sign that the kitchen itself is very strict with their cleaning. The dining room was very cute with their furniture, lighting, and accent pieces. SERVICE Service was a bit slow, but to be fair, there was a large party at the front of the restaurant and what sounded like another large party towards the back of the restaurant. Drinks came out slow and we did make the request for appies to come out first, but all of our food (appetizers and entrees) came out at the same time. There was no check up during the meal to ask how things were. My partner flagged a server to send his order back and requested a different dish (which was prepared promptly, though myself and our friend finished our meals by then) but I was a little surprised that there was no offer to comp at least one of his two drinks. Again, Im pretty sure that this was in no fault of the server assigned to our section on what seemed to be an already busy night, but it felt like below-average service. OTHER NOTES Gauging from the overall menu offerings, Im going to assume this is predominantly a modern Thai fusion restaurant (e.g. Massaman curry, the pandan and coconut holiday cocktail on special as other items I saw on the menu). I like the concept of a Thai fusion restaurant as I feel that we lack this cuisine in the Lower Mainland, but I think it might benefit from leaning harder on to the Thai flavours, like fish sauce, tamarind paste, cilantro and more. Its also entirely possible that I chose the least fusion-y dish on the menu, but I would be interested in stronger Thai flavours. Overall, the ambience and price point of the dishes seem to suggest this could be an upscale restaurant for a special occasion or a fancy date, but the execution and experience itself dont reflect that of a fine dining establishment.

Food was ok. Waited 2 hours for mains on a pre-order. Appy was cold. Service was horrible. Constantly having to literally wave our server down for a drink (hate even having to do this). Had the ask for cutlery twice. My friend asked for a beer three times before getting one. Didnt even know what vodka they served but had no problem charging me $4 extra for kettle. Then had the pleasure of autograting 20%. Overall I expect much much more for $500+ bill. Charge the prices-expect results. Huge fail

Where do I begin? I have been waiting to come here for quite some time and I left so disappointed. We started with sangria flights which were presented beautifully but overall every flavour was ok and extremely sweet. For appetizers we ordered the Ballerina wings & the dumplings. The portions are small for the price and everything was lacking flavour especially the wings. I feel we over payed drastically for them and the chicken was very wet and strange inside. Main course we had the Sous vide steak dish and the oyster mushroom risotto. Both were very underwhelming and had no flavour. Where is the salt? The steak came out very rubbery and overdone and as someone who has a Sous vide at home it never comes out this way. I am at a loss for words on the high prices with sub par food. Would ve rather gone to viva Mexico across the street. Servers were nice

Food by Fanta is one of my favorite restaurants in Langley. I love the aesthetic atmosphere & vibes of the restaurant. I feel like I am transported to a restaurant in Downtown Vancouver when I come here & I love that little feeling of an escape. Not only is the restaurant aesthetic, but their food & drinks are as well. They make everything Insta worthy which is my favorite part because I love posting my outings on socials! And of course - the aesthetics meet up with the quality of their food and drinks as well! I always leave with my taste buds feeling satisfied. I cant recommend this restaurant enough! Im always finding an excuse to come in, especially when I want to introduce someone new to it!

Was there just yesterday for a girls night out and it was a little tough to find because signage outside is quite blended in and small for the building front. Once inside a mall like building you enter a side doorway. The entrance is rather deceiving because I wasn t sure if I wait outside or go straight in etc. Once jnside, is it ever quaint and beautiful! Definitely stunning decor as all the other reviews have mentioned. Table sizes are nice and big so you can comfortably have multiple plates and beverages around you. The food ! My gf ordered the Arctic Char and inhaled the whole thing because it was just so delicious. I had the Lamb and it was divine! Presentation for both were just gorgeous but both meals had all the flavours. We had no complaints. And then the coconut crème brûlée for dessert was something else that I cannot even begin to explain. Definitely going back there for it! Service was meh. For the price point I would ve expected better service. Waitress was extremely young, didn t seem to know much when asked questions. Seemed a bit dumbfounded when asked and had to check and get back to us. Maybe she was new and in training? I m not sure but for the price point, I would ve expected a lot better service. If you re looking for great service, I wouldn t put this under that category but if you re looking for delicious food, I d highly recommend a visit! Great spot in Langley recommended by a friend during our last visit from Toronto. They have a unique Thai fusion menu with a twist on various staples. We went during brunch and recommend all the dishes we tried: Siam sliders, Chor Muang flower dumplings, and the pork tenderloin schnitzel. It is a little more on the pricier side - but you are in for a treat! Will definitely have to come back for the dinner menu. Do note that they only serve from the brunch menu until 2:30pm which has a limited number of lunch/dinner type dishes.
