This place was perfect! The food was amazing and our server too. We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had such a great time. Highly recommended!
I am going to come back for the soup!!! Mm!! I don’t typically order a soup but I wanted something warm and cozy with the rainy weather. The Josper Smoked Potato Chowder was rich and creamy— perfection. I prefer my meat medium well and they made it perfectly to my liking. The meat was juicy and delicious… I also had a mojito for my drink which was refreshing. I was pretty full but still had some cheesecake for dessert. It’s a really beautiful and classy restaurant. Servers were attentive and kind. I asked for a straw for my water and they made sure I had it right away. Fantastic service. Also.. don’t forget the fresh bread it’s sooooo good!
I’ve never left a bad review but I had very disappointing experience here when we visited here to celebrate an occasion. Happy hour oysters tasted old. Sea bass tasted old and dry. There was zero seasoning on both the sea bass and the brown butter sauce. Other people had steaks and they were okay. We did not feel welcomed by our server. We had to ask for our complementary bread after seeing all other tables getting them. Our server was rude to us but she was clearly more personable with other tables. We left there thinking if that was because of our race. We had to rush out of the restaurant as we felt very uncomfortable. However, the hostess and bussers were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice. I do not recommend this place at all if you are looking for a pleasant dining experience.
I visited today to celebrate my sister and her fiancé’s marriage, as they came from London to visit my parents. We made a reservation for 4:45 and were greeted by a lovely host. However, our server, Julie, made the experience quite unpleasant. When she asked if we were celebrating anything, we informed her that we were there for my sister’s engagement and wedding, yet we did not receive any complimentary dessert. I mention this because I’ve been to the Burnaby Atlas several times, and whenever we share that we’re celebrating, they always provide us with a complimentary Baked Alaska dessert. Additionally, we were missing one place setting and had to ask the busser for it, as our server didn’t check on us regularly. She was quite rude overall. We only received potato chips as complimentary appetizers, and knowing we were supposed to get brioche buns, we had to ask for those as well. The busser eventually brought them and apologized for the oversight. Overall, it was a horrible experience. The food quality was not the main issue; the service was simply unacceptable.
We had a wonderful experience here, celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our server was super friendly, attentive, and personable. The food was delicious. We had the “gunpowder” tomahawk steak but I personally preferred the original one from when we were last here. This was still delicious though :)
Of the steak houses… Atlas in Langley BC is my absolute favourite place to go for a special occasion if we are looking to have steak and seafood. The food is always consistently good… BUT… it is the tier 1 service that keeps me coming back. Whether it’s the host who establishes relatability right away, or Tracey remembering me from the last time I was there or our server Devon who had to handle my relatively fussy mother with all of the grace and professionalism of a champ, to the piano player who played happy birthday when Devon brought out the cake… it is the considerate and consistent touches of customer service that sets this place apart from all other similar style restaurants.
Atlas Fish in Langley is full of surprises, starting with its convenient location connected to a casino. I wasn’t expecting it to be so busy, but clearly, the word is out about this place. We went with a group of friends and were definitely not disappointed. We started with the prawns 🦐, beef 🐄 carpaccio, and oysterswhich we're awesome choices across the board. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and had us wanting more. For the main course, I went for the surf and turf with steak 🥩 and lobster 🦞. It did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly, with those beautiful grill marks that make your mouth water just looking at them. All in all, Atlas Fish is a great spot for anyone looking for a good meal with a side of excitement, thanks to the casino next door. It's definitely a place I’ll be visiting again!
Just came home from an absolutely perfect dining experience at ATLAS with my wife and a friend. Everything about the experience was more satisfying and memorable than I had hoped for. Sadie at the door went over and above her duties to make sure my party was comfortable and satisfied before we even sat down at our table. John and Liz were our waitstaff for the evening and made the exquisite food appetizing and extra appealing before we even got a first taste. Chef Jason provided an amuse bouche that I wish I could remember the details of but I wanted to order MORE of that delectable morsel of flavour explosion. My friends went to a different chain restaurant on the same evening and I felt bad to decline, but after dining this good I doubt if I could be tempted to ever set foot in one again. If you want a great ambiance and dining experience, I highly recommend ATLAS. Why are you still reading this? Go make reservations already! Thanks to everyone else on staff that contributed to our evening that I did not get to personally interact with. The bar got set a few notches higher tonight. Much appreciated
Devon was the best!!! Great food, live piano, and atmosphere: amazing
Devon was our amazing server. She was so attentive and gracious. Offered amazing choices from appetizers, drinks, main dishes and desserts. Her suggestions were on point!!! With her awesome personality and amazing attention to detail she insured us ladies had the most amazing experience. Thanks Devon- from the Cougar Club
I dont usually write a reviews but i want to share my experience last night at Atlas langley. We went to Atlas langley last night for my Fiancee 40th birthday dinner, I have a pork Allergy and we told our server that I have pork allergy, ordering Ceasar salad found 2 piece of pork and one of them I eated , getting a panic attack , my allergy is very serious. We asked the server if they have a Epipen incase, they told us that they dont have it, as if they dont even care. I cant believe that a place who serve food they dont have Epipen, It should be part of emergency kit.I felt that this place dont care about their customers health. I am Atlas dine to go for many years and this is the first time I went to langley location. We paid very reasonable price and expect to get a reasonable service..
Disappointed, my best friend and I are foodies. I felt so bad for not tipping which was my first time ever doing that, I m a big supporter of the tipping culture but honestly I couldn t give them anymore of my money. Let s start with everything they brought the table was dry, undercooked, and tasteless.. please do better the food sucks big time, I would give it 0 stars don t waste your waste time and do better research this place is a big joke
Had a wonderful dinner and our server Tracy was amazing. Made our night. Thank you.
The best anniversary dinner and all at a reasonable price with fenomenal service Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating
Fantastic! Vegetarian options: Brussel sprouts were delicious Food : 5/5 |
Walking into this restaurant was an amazing experience right from the hostess, the waitress, the management but best of all Jason Monk and his staff in the kitchen. He was amazing to watch with his staff and his gentle deminier a gentle giant with a talent that will have me coming back as the food was amazing from Appy to main course. Bravo team you have provided a fine dining experience that many should learn from.
Everything was amazing - food and atmosphere. Our server is one of the best we have ever had anywhere. We have had her twice now and she is truly the best - I didn t catch her name but she really topped up our overall experience. Super friendly, helpful and funny. We would go back for her, not to mention the delicious food.
Went for a birthday dinner, everything was done to perfection!! My grilled Sea Bass was beyond delicious
Had an absolutely amazing time. My fiancé and I are so eager to come back. Food is incredible, but more than anything our waitress Daniella (spelling might be wrong) is AMAZING. She s friendly, funny, attentive and incredibly smart when it comes to wine. My fiancé and I are not very well versed when it comes to wine but she guided us the entire way. Will be coming back, not just for the good atmosphere and food but we hope we get Daniella again!
The restaurant itself is beautiful! Great atmosphere, not too loud so it s easy on the ears and one can have good conversations. Happy hour was ok. Four items on the menu to choose from, the warm prime rib bun at $5 ea was really good! Should have had three more for dinner. Glass of wine $9.50 during happy hour? A bit expensive but so is the place. I don t normally order pasta at restaurants, but I did, only because it was a Spicy Lobster Spaghettini very disappointed. There was nothing spicy about it, the lobster was blah, there was no flavour to the dish at all. My companion had the Grilled Salmon Steak, very juicy and well done! Warm potato salad, was actually small potatoes. Maybe steaks are better, but be prepared to pay for sides separately. Overall, nice place, might go back again for the steak meal one day and more of the warm bread! That was delish!!!
A fabulous place to celebrate a birthday! Daniella was our server and she elevated the entire experience. She answered any questions and helped with any accommodations we needed! She even took the cutest pictures for us. Food was delicious of course but the atmosphere itself just made the experience so special!
This was an amazing night. I graduated from university and my family took me to atlas for dinner. We had the pleasure to be seated with our lovely waitress Tracy who made us feel welcome and at home. She took care of everything we could have possible wanted. I had the truffle tenderloin and it was so delicious It melted in your mouth. It was an amazing experience.
Had a great experience. Our waiter was extremely attentive and everything was perfect. Food was amazing. We started with the beef carpaccio, oysters and shrimp cocktail, all very good. Then we had a table side Caesar salad which was fun to see being made and tasted delicious. For mains we got the porter house steak with black truffle butter and the shrimp & lobster thermidor which was amazing. For sides we got the Mac and cheese, truffle fries and asparagus with béarnaise sauce. So much food and everything was delicious. Most got packed up and brought home and tasted even better the next day!! Amazing amazing!!
My wife and I had a bad experience at the Langley location. The service was lousy. The food portions seem to be getting smaller. I dont recommend the Langley Altas Steak and Fish.
Good food, good presentation, good environment, but customer service could be varied depending on the server. Overall one of the nicest place in Langley for a reasonable price.
Fantastic food, service, pianist, atmosphere. Enjoyed celebrating a birthday here.
Went here for the first time for an anniversary date. Great service from Dom. He was very friendly and welcoming. The hostess remembered who we were when we left and said Happy Anniversary. The staff went above and beyond. Every bite of food was incredible. I am not a seafood person so I had steak, mashed potatoes and asparugus. Absolutely delicious. We were seated on the patio. It was nice and warm even though it was a cooler day.
Smiles all the way from the entrance to the table and of course back home. Great food options, fare potions and tasting good too. Food
An amazing experience. The staff were incredible, the cocktails were perfectly crafted, and our food was cooked to perfection!
Everything was going good. Food ok didnt over extend our visit - service fine. Absolutely nothing special. Decided against dessert had about one sip of wine left each and paid. We were at end table and all to our left the tables were empty and separate. Did have a table for four but suddenly our server Jessica W. Grabbed our to go bag and put it next to me and said I need this table no rush finish your wine. Didnt move the table next to us anywhere nor were the other tables moved together. What was that all about.. felt like a get out message to me and we would have been gone in less than 5 minutes anyway. Sorry $250 for two is not chump change to me. Left a fair tip (always 18 to 20%) is that not enough now - attitude changed after bill paid. Perhaps a blank cheque next time? Dining out is getting to be ridiculous.
Everything was phenomenal. Well organized with great service. The steaks were excellent quality and cooked to perfection
My husband and I went to atlas to celebrate our anniversary and were so glad we did! Our server Tracy was amazing! She was attentive, made great recommendations and truly was the sweetest. The food was impeccable and we were truly impressed! PS do not skip on the dessert. The chocolate peanut butter marquis is bar everything!!! Can t wait to come back.
We went for happy hour and it was well worth going for dinner at 3:30. The food was delicious and all the staff was friendly and attentive.
Came here with my husband and we were so pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our meal. He had the tenderloin with goat cheese truffle and foie and it was a superstar dish that really stood out. I highly recommend it! The truffle was shaved table side for a nice added touch. I had the prime rib dinner and it was fantastic and a generous portion. We also ordered lobster puffs as a starter and a chili crab add on to the meal as well as two glasses of champagne and a glass of red. Literally everything was a 5/5 and exceeded our expectations. We ordered a creme brulee for dessert that was sub par and when we mentioned it to the waitress she not only let us order something different but took both desserts off our bill. The cheesecake dessert was also very good with food cream cheese flavour and not too sweet. Devon our waitress was wonderful. When I asked for some extra chili crab sauce to take our leftovers home she was more than happy to get me some! I really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be back and recommend it to others.
High quality, delicious food at a reasonable price. Will be coming here anytime I m in the area. Dominic was a great waiter!
Excellent quality food which was worth every penny. European fine dining and wonderful service from Dominic!! Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating with hard cheese allergy.
I ve been here twice - once with my family and once with my significant other. it runs at about a solid 3 because the price tag is seemingly high on some items (tomahawk and their lobster specials) but also their kind customer service from staff keep me coming back. I will say, their happy hour is more of a fan favourite for me because price point it is just so enjoyable and bang for your buck. The oysters and sliders are pretty good to fill you up and don t hurt the wallet. Also, the table bread is delicious. I just wish there was more of it like the Keg would refill it. the tomahawk was so pricey and truly seemed small for what it was to be and since sides are all a la carte - your bill adds up big time. The brussels sprouts were good, but also super salty and tangy with their balsamic glaze. I don t know if the syrup for their soft drinks were a little off, but we found that our drinks were a bit bland when we brought this to the waitresses attention, we asked for a different soda and she was quick to give arrange that for us. Unfortunately, it does seem like all the drinks were affected by the syrup and we just didn t want to have to hassle her again for another one so we just left it as is with out water. I will say the full Seabass dish was pretty good and while it is a bit pricey again, there aren t many restaurants that do this. The table side features are cool for the experience because it is a lost form for a lot of restaurants to have to prepare your food table side, but you do pay for it. I will say I am a bit of a sucker for presentation so I did enjoy it and I think it is quite a novelty experience. If you re lucky, you can also enjoy some lovely piano music in the lounge, which was a nice mood setter. all in all if you re there for the happy hour, I think it is a great date night or a girls night out and if you have a family occasion, I think people will be impressed, but just be willing to pay big dollars. And as for the tomahawk steak you can totally skip it - was a bit subpar in my opinion.
1. Lobster bisque tastes like Campbells tomatoe soup with a chunk of lobster in the middle. 2. The Beef Tartare is way oversalted and has a terrible taste. It was hardly palatable. 3. Raw oysters were ridiculously small. 4. Crab legs were filled with water. 5. Duck breast. They gave the option of how we wanted it cooked eg, rare, well done, then came back and said they only cook it one way. In all honesty, it was likely reheated in the stove or an oven as the seared side wasnt even crip. It came with watery red cabbage. Ordered potatoes to go it which were apparently fried, yet also had no crisp and were likely reheated. 6. Tomahawk pork chop came with an insane ammount of fat on it, like 1/5th was just fat. It came with a measly bit of the fried potatoes and has this awful spicy apple sauce smeared on the bottom of the plate.
Mediocre casino steak joint. The restaurant smelled like some kind of cleaner and raw fish. Much like a seafood market. Not appealing. Steak tartare had an odd after taste. Everything else was okay. Dont go out of your way.
Disclaimer: Vivid descriptions I hate to do this but I think it s worth noting as a cautionary tale for anyone who enjoys raw oysters. I love Atlas, especially this Langley location, but I had my worst oyster experience I have ever had last night. I ordered 6 east coast oysters, Naked Islanders, for an appetizer and I got through 5 of them with one being a bit more ocean forward than I m used to and then I got to the last one, which honestly I almost wish had been the first one. I loosened the final oyster and went to slurp it down and almost immediately as it hit my tongue I lost my lunch, luckily held it in until making it to the toilet where I lost the remains of our table side Caesar and Oyster appys. Our server was very apologetic and it was no fault of his and he did ensure they were not included on the final bill. Here s my issue, there was a manager there who served us some of our dishes and he did not come by and say anything or acknowledge the issue? I felt this was an oversight and something that a restaurant of this calibre would do without thinking. I was also satisfied with not having to pay for my oysters, though it almost ruined my entire appetite and we had already ordered entrees. I was quite satisfied with my Entree pictured below, as the halibut and lobster were very nicely cooked and the risotto itself was alright, but I prefer the Mushroom and truffle. Anyways, please be mindful when eating raw oysters as it can happen to anyone!
We were a party of 3 who had recently enjoyed dinner inside the restaurants enclosed patio. The food, recommended wine pairing and service were excellent! Our waitress, Daniela, was exceptional in taking care of us throughout the evening. We had ordered appetizers, happy hour drinks, sample of the wine and steak & lobster for the main meals. Crème Brulee with raspberry sorbet was ordered for dessert to top off the evening. Kudos to Daniela for a job well done!
So the food here is amazing and I love the piano bar. What I didnt love was the service. Started out nice but then our server forgot about us. We had to flag someone down for a coffee and dessert and then finally get the attention of someone for our bill. Once our food was served we didnt see our server again until after we asked for our bill. Not impressed.
Food was great for the beef dishes. I had ordered the risotto under the impression it came with freshly shaved black truffle which was not the case. Was super underwhelming I didn t even eat it. We still for charged full price even though I had told them It was not good. A waste of money and probably won t come back due to this. Prime rib dinner was good!
For the price, I expected much more. Took my wife here for her birthday. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the ambiance was really nice. There was a live piano player in the background and this part of the experience was great. The service was pretty sub par unfortunately. Our waitress seemed like she was rushing, so much so, that we had a hard time ordering drinks and food. We had to flag her down to place most orders. My steak that I ordered - chilli rubbed cowboy rib steak, medium rare - was hard to cut through, hard to chew, and for $69 was very unimpressive. I sent it back, the waitress took my whole plate including my cutlery so I I couldn t eat any of the sides while I waited for my food to come back out. I will say that I ordered the New York strip loin on the second go around and it was very good. The sides which are $14 a piece were unimpressive. Overall it was the service that really disappointed. At other restaurants when a mistake is made usually the manager comes over and checks in, this didn t happen here. I have no issue paying top dollar for a high end restaurant but in my opinion, when you have a high end restaurant you need top tier service. The service here was very low. I probably won t go back.
My husband and I went to Atlas Steak and Fish in Langley to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We ordered the GUNPOWDER TOMAHAWK STEAK. OMG it was to die for, it came with a side of block of chimichurri butter, smoked tomato+garlic confit. The service was amazing by Devon and of course the GM Steve who recommended this wonderful meal. Thank you for the lovely dinner!!
My spouse and I went here for our anniversary. The food and service were amazing. We will definitely be back!!
It was our 46 anniversary so wanted something special. Steak was delicious, not a complaint on that, but Caesar salad dressing was disgusting, did not like the fact you had to order everything separately, very pricey.did not come as a meal, for us , would not go again
Atmosphere was excellent especially when the piano player was there! The presentation was great. Some of the food was amazing while other dishes were randomly lacking in quality. It was either amazing or just fine. For any mule drinkers out there, their Atlas Mule isn t what I d call a mule. It s just a refreshing cucumber cocktail. Tasted like it was just soda with ice, vodka, and a cucumber in a plain highball glass. It was still good, just not at all what I was expecting.
Ordered a few items from the menu HORRIBLE quality! Only oysters were good! Food : 1/5
Food and drinks were delicious Service was amazing, food and drink came fast. My lil one has dairy allergy and they were very accommodating with this. Our server ls name was Ashley and she was lovey. I am only giving 4 stars though as the restaurant did not have any change table for our lil one, so I had to change her on the floor, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating.
Service and the environment were amazing, however the food was lacking flavour. We ordered the tomahawk steak and honestly for that price point, should have had an amazing crust with tons of flavour. I have had better steaks at my local pub. The experience of the fine dining was good but paying that price point for the food, it should have matched the service and experience.
My favourite steakhouse in the area. Steak tartar is delicious, blue cheese gnocchi and Brussels sprouts are a must to accompany your meal! Service is exceptional, atmosphere with pianist in the back ground is charming and don t leave without trying their smoky old fashion!
Food is good except the steaks. The Tomahawk steak was lukewarm and burnt when the server brought it to the table and it was also very chewy. We mentioned it to the waiter and he acknowledged with a Oh.... as if it didnt matter at all. The sides, Brussel Sprouts, potatoes, truffle fries, were quite good. We were told that the bread will be arriving soon several times but it didnt come until after we finished the appetizer.
Easily one of the finest looking steak and chop houses in the Lower Mainland. Great ambience. The food was uneven, though. Steaks were good but hardly great. Not sure why the insistence of using cumin in their rub. It is so overpowering. And there was plenty of it. On the other hand, the lobster tail was one of the best Ive ever had. Off the charts great. The absolute best part was the service. Alena is one of the best servers Ive ever encountered. Four stars only because of her. Super courteous, exceedingly polite and eager to please. If I went back Id demand to sit in her section or not sit at all. Recommended but demand that the Steaks be served steakhouse style. All the sauces and bizarre veggie arrangements on the plate made the steaks unpalatable. Less is more.
Took the racing team here for some drinks. It was astonishing. Such lovely and kind staff. Very fast and efficient. Good job team! Keep up the good work!
Alicia was our server she was amazing
The atmosphere was nice, I liked the open concept kitchen. I would expect for how much the food costs, the quality should be much better. Ive been to equivalent places with much better quality. Acts like a 5 star but is like a 2.
Dom was amazing! Great service
First time at Atlas to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary and the food and service was perfection Thank you for a great night!
Went there for a Business Dinner, everyone in the group was disappointed with the Food, maybe expectations were too high based on recommendations from others. Good service thou, and great atmosphere.
I had 16 oz cowboy rib steak medium cooked It came medium rare couldnt even cut it properly too chewy and the waiter didnt know what he was doing I ask for a drink it took him 20 minutes for it to come is knowledge on the menu was very poor when I asked about the steak if it was easy to cut he replied its our best steak which he was completely wrong and when the bill came he automatically put 18% when I told him poor service and food wasnt even good should be customers choice on what tip the restaurant and waiter deserves Im sorry I will not be coming back to this place. THE KEG IS 10 TIMES BETTER QUILITY AND SERVICE IS MORE PROFESSIONAL
I been there many times and never had a bad meal. Great place for steak and seafood lovers. Great atmosphere and service. Menu is amazing and if you love good steak you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!
I ve always wanted to try this restaurant and last night I had a date, so this would be a great choice or so I thought. My date and I were seated in the very bright part of the restaurant. It was 6:45 pm and I wanted more of an evening ambience so I whispered to the lady that walked us to the table. It s so bright in here can we sit in the other room and she yelled out in front of my date. What are you crazy? This is a beautiful bright room! I had to lie and say that I was just saying it was a nice room because I was so embarrassed, but I did not want to sit with my evening make up and attire in a bright room. I would ve preferred the candlelit room that you walk into upon entering the restaurant. I hope the Sun would go down fast So that I d have the ambience, I was looking for Now I have to say the customer service was fantastic, except for that snag upon arrival, and because of that I was expecting fantastic food which was not the case. Salad way, too much Italian dressing on it and it didn t taste anything different from kraft dressing And it was pretty boring. They were a couple of small tomatoes in it and some kind of crunchy nuts With sliced cheese on top, but I was expecting something a little more fancy I only had a few bites of the salad because I didn t like how boring it was, or the dressing. My halibut looked beautiful when it arrived. However, I had to eat it with bread because it was so salty. It was pretty much ruined, but I didn t want to say anything negative in front of my date. The chef definitely is not testing food before he plates The broccoli dish was horrible. It had so much balsamic reduction or something in it that I was coughing for 10 minutes and literally lost my voice because it was so harsh on my throat. The layer of cheese on the top wasn t eaten and neither were the Brussels sprouts. The asparagus was good that was actually the best thing out of the whole meal. My date had the steak. He said it was good but I didn t taste it so I ll leave it at that. He didn t eat the Brussels sprouts, the cheese on top or the salad either and we didn t discuss anything about it at the time. So all in all, I was pretty disappointed I would not return I wished I had gone somewhere else because well over $200 dinner when you know it enjoy it is a real bummer. Again, customer service was amazing, but they really need to do something about the chef s selections and plating. Easy on the salt is what I would suggest, as well as don t make side dishes More than they should be. Get a salad dressing and make the salad more appetising.
Food was good but a bit pricey.
Great restaurant! Live piano is a very nice touch. Food and service are excellent. One of the top restaurants in town!
Great food and loved the piano music on our most recent dining experience. The only thing that would make this place better is if Encore rewards members got their 10% food discount by showing their card as this is a casino restaurant. Will definitely be returning!
The food was excellent. The atmosphere was great with a live piano player. The sound level was good and it appeared that all the tables were having a good evening. Our server Devon was fantastic; she was knowledgeable and engaging.
The food and service was fantastic. We didnt know this restaurant was here. We will be back for sure.
Very pleasant place to have Dinner Dine out .
Celebrated our anniversary during their happy hour. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. Great overall experience with good food, attentive service and a nice ambience. Kid-friendliness: We let them know ahead of time that our newborn would be with us and they were more than accomodating. The area we were seated in was warm and quiet leading to a very sleepy baby and the ability to enjoy our meal without a fuss.
Recently went here for a birthday dinner. Service was amazing. We did not like one of our drinks and appetizers and it was taken care of. We were offered alternatives.
It had been three years since we last celebrated my birthday at your restaurant, and we were excited to relive the exceptional dining experience we remembered. Expecting to enjoy a delightful dinner just like before, we were unfortunately met with a vastly different experience this time around. The steak, once tender and flavorful, now fell short of our expectations. The cioppino was served lukewarm, and there were no provisions to dispose of the seashells conveniently. Moreover, there was no clean water available for washing our hands after attempting to crack open the crabs. My husband also noted that his steak was not served hot. The wait for a payment machine at our table was excessively long, and the noise level was uncomfortably high. Overall, the noticeable decline in food quality and the change in staff friendliness, which we had previously adored, made it clear that the restaurants standards had dropped over the last three years. Needless to say that this may have been our last visit to the restaurant.
Our first time in langley Atlas and definitely not our last, we loved the food, the ambiance and the service, we will be back soon!
Food
This was a delightful experience. My server, Devon, was amazing! The food and wine pairing were exceptional. Im definitely going back and referring everyone I know. Thank you for exceeding all expectations
Went here for my birthday in October and I loved it. They were so sweet and made dessert so special for me. The ambience in this restaurant is also really amazing and felt luxurious. Great food!
Great place for your special occasions. Fantastic food and service.
We went for the Dine Out Vancouver. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the live piano music.
Loved the food, and the atmosphere
Came here to take advantage of Dine-Out Vancouver. The ambiance and food was amazing. My boyfriend and I got the different options for each appy, entree and dessert. Everything was so tasty. We did however find the service to be a little more casual than we expected from the restaurant. The restaurant has a piano player, and its interior design is more up-scale, yet our server did not speak or address us very formally. The tone, language and body language of our server just seemed a little out of place. I m aware that sounds really snobbish but it s something you the staff should maybe think about considering the establishment is so elegant. However we still got our drinks, and courses within reasonable times so it was still good service.
Delicious food as always. Its worth going just for the blue cheese butter and freshly baked bread.
Best tenderloin I ve ever had & worst crème brûlée I ve ever had. Tenderloin, Sea bass, & foie gras were all very good. Baked oysters were okay. Top tier atmosphere & server. My all time favourite dessert is crème brûlée, I make it a point to have it if it s on any menu. I figure they may have used too much egg, it wasn t creamy at all, & had the consistency of tofu.
Great atmosphere and service. Fillet mignon was good. Sauce was too rich and overwhelmed the great beef.
Excellent food and service from Atlas. Would recommend to all. Seafood Grill and the Cowboy Steak are the go-to items on the menu. Enjoy!!
Best five star dining in the Fraser Valley and you don t have to go all the way to Vancouver to feel luxurious. Best of luck!
Marina the best!!!!
Good ambience and service. Stuffed Calamari and lobster spaghettini were must try s so delicious!
Feels high end and servers were great. However, the foods were terrible. The steaks were salty, mushroom risotto was even saltier with no balance and the chicken dish was a joke. Very small portion of dry meat and 3 carrots with some mash potatoes. Food
The food here was really good that they forgot to put the clams in the muscle classic mistake
Cowboy steak was perfectly cooked. Pianist was just amazing during our visit. Truffle tenderloin is amazing as well.
Love it
They have amazing food
We ve been here for New Years Eve dinner. It was 4 courses set menu dinner. Between me and my partner we tried most courses on the menu by sharing them. And they were amazing tasting experiences. Also I had a wine pairing and they were generous portions and very well curated wines. There was live music by piano player in attendance and it added a lot to the atmosphere of the evening. The service was too notch as well. Highly recommended! I would definitely go back for more.
Love Atlas Steak! Will definitely be back; food and service was amazing. Our waitress made excellent recommendations and we were not disappointed.
Although I still feel like this is the best restaurant, we had a different experience last night. We got our meal before our bread and cutlery an empty salt grinder, then for dessert we ordered creme Brule that wasnt even close im pretty sure the top was burnt and underneath was runny, they didnt charge us for it but wont be ordering that again...Im not sure what went wrong here but will definitely give the restaurant another try
Had a great experience at Atlas went for their happy hour at 5 PM to 6 PM. Great prices we then ordered our entrées for dinner, and they were fantastic. Had a great waiter who was very attentive, making our evening a very enjoyable experience, and the price was great.!! Planning to go back on January 21 and taking some new people with us to experience this restaurant!
Great food and great service
Loved this restaurant!! Celebrating my brothers 50th birthday. I had the truffle steak which was exceptional!! Mashed potatoes were to die for. Wine was great, mule too. Dessert was tasty but was tiny and cheesecake should be taller and dense, not so wet. Service was excellent. Parking was free, casino beside. Price was on the rich side but food quality was good! Enjoy
We wanted to try something new so for our anniversary so we gave it a try . Don t get me wrong the service was great that s why I am giving 3 stars . Our waitress was lovely and very knowledgeable about the menu . One of our dishes was the tenderloin I ordered it rare . When it came it was well done no red at all and was tough. They took it back and brought another one about 20 minutes later well my wife was eating here dinner so it didn t get cold . Again not cooked rare it was well done again I should have kept the first one at least we would have eaten together . For $50 just for the steak nothing else I expect it be cooked the way I want. Like isn t this a steak house ? We really wanted to like this place and have it be our new go to but nope not for the price when it s cooked that way .
We had a wonderful experience at Atlas for a Mothers Day dinner! The food was sensational, we were really under dressed due to the heat but were still treated very well, our server was outstanding, we couldnt have asked for more - highly recommend!
One of the best steaks I have had. Great place for a great meal.
Had a fantastic Dining experience this evening for our parents 63rd anniversary. A wide variety of appies and mains were ordered and delivered with precision and accuracy. Well done team ! Parking: Great parking at the casino!
Always a fabulous meal & experience. Table side dishes absolutely amazing presentation, great food. Fun staff. Definitely 5 Star. We visit often because of the service & the food.
We celebrated our 1st anniversary at Atlas, and the drinks food service and venue were amazing. Service was top notch, and it was so great not to feel rushed from course to course so we could truly enjoy the food. The goat cheese brichetta was amazing.
It was great place to celebrate my daughters birthday. We had the porterhouse steak and mix grill seafood.
Truly a fine dining restaurant. We were very impressed with the service. Professional waiters, who know the menu really well and take really good care of you. There are lots of gourmet seafood options. Everything we tried was delicious! Recommended dishes
One of the best in Langley. Great service, great food, great ambiance.
Would give NO STARS for the food! Not wowed even a little by the chicken, a couple of halved small potatoes and 3 sprigs of asparagus on my dinner plate. My hubby was not impressed with his steak. The dinner was so inadequate that we had to have a snack later on. Super, super expensive and not worth the money! Do not spend $300 for a dinner there. We will not be back and regret eating there.
Fantastic spot, steak was great quality perfectly cooked and oysters very fresh. Highly recommend
Delicious, good service and elegant environment.
Went there for the first time on June 15/23. Rather disappointing. The Seafood Mixed Grill was very disappointing. Everything tasted one note & overdone & super salty with the exception of the soft shell crab which we enjoyed. There was very little lobster. The part I got had next to no meat in it ( 90% shell). The prawns were extremely firm & overdone & the crab cake was so salty we had one bite & left the rest. We basically threw away $100 on that part. If you were blindfolded you wouldn t be able to distinguish the taste of the individual components. And the hot butter for dipping is not real butter which helped to ruin things. I ordered the lobster bisque. It was OK but not great & came Luke warm. Tomato based. My friend had The Beef Carpaccio starter which was delicious, however, & I d order that again. We mentioned our seafood issue to the server, but she didn t do anything to compensate for the bad main course. She only said she d let the kitchen know. So, although the server was friendly ultimately our experience didn t matter & our money was taken. The atmosphere was very nice but I left feeling like it was all a 3 dressed up as a 9 for my first experience.
First time at Atlas - loved it! The food was very delicious, the service good and the environment very friendly. Our server, Tanis, was very polite and, because our steak was overcooked, she immediately took it back to the kitchen and ordered a medium rare for us (as we had initially ordered). Even though mistakes happen, I d say it was still acceptable because of the way it was handled. Will go again!
excellent all around
Fabulous food! I have a lot of allergies and they were so accomodating and the meal was so amazing I keep remembering it and it brings a smile to my face, and belly, every time I think of it! Dietary restrictions: They were so accomodating, I have more allergies and sensitivities than anyone I have ever met. Yet they managed to make me an amazing meal!
Arent we lucky in Langley City to have an amazing place to dine Come to Atlas chefs are top notch cooking )) Bar makes greats drinks . Try the coffee martinni call old fashion drink . Ordered prime riib Mashed potatoes Salmon with mashed
Awesome seafood selection, very tasty.. A great vibe, and awesome service
Had the salmon,very good
A bit pricey but the food was good .
Amazing food here!
Beautiful ambiance and great happy hour specials for the adults of the house, this is definitely not a place you want to bring your kids to, its a fancy and cozy restaurant. We found this place on Google, searching for fresh oysters in the Langley area. Drinks are delicious. It did not disappoint. Well be back ! Food
Great place
Go early... no problems. Happy mom equals happy customer = good tips
Food was exceptional. Service was fantastic. Beautifully decorated. Definitely coming back
Great vibe awesome server and good food!
The service was amazing! We had the most wonderful waitress who made the evening that much better.
Great atmosphere with servers who seemed to genuinely love their job. Very classy, professional and delicious food of course. A special treat was the live music of cover songs being played so elegantly by a gentleman on the baby grand. Food
We ate steak and added on king crab legs. I gave the food 4 stars only because my steak was overcooked. They remade it for me but didnt offer any discount on the bill for the inconvenience. I had to wait for a new one as my husband ate his and was finished before I got to eat mine. It was expensive, a place we definitely will only visit again on a special occasion.
Server was amazing. Food was great. Steak was better than the lobster. Get the bruschetta.
Had date night with my boyfriend at Atlas. We ordered the porterhouse steak and we were very excited for it but it came overcooked. When we told our waitress that our steak was pretty much well done and not medium as we ordered, she told us that it is in fact medium and the lighting affects the color of the steak. We were seated in the terrace with natural sunlight and there was no pink on the steak. She took the steak back and the manager came to us to explain the same thing about the lighting. The picture taken is from the second steak and the lighting did not affect the color this time. Ive never heard of anyone blaming lighting for the doneness of a steak before. It just seemed odd. Odd enough to make me think it was a common occurrence. The second steak was also not evenly cooked. Some parts were rare, some were med on the same side of the porterhouse. I would guess they dont have even heat in the kitchen. For food this expensive I expect it to be done right. Maybe we should have gone to burnaby instead. I wont be a return customer.
Celebrated my husband s birthday here on a weekday evening. Service was spectacular, thank you Tracy for taking care of us! We enjoyed the food, I in particular loved the Brie whipped mash potatoes. Would definitely come back again!
We celebrated our anniversary and chose this restaurant for the lobster specials on the menu. The specials were disappointing as they were small in size for the price they charged. I had the lobster tail and scallops. The tail was quite small and there were only 2 scallops in the dish. Quite a surprise. We also came for the happy hour oysters. These were the smallest fresh oysters I have ever been served. Again, not a great value. On the other hand, service was impeccable. And the pianist was lovely. The seafood cioppino looked amazing and was abundant in its serving. Three stars for this dish and the desserts.
Tanis served us and it was a pleasure! She made my sister s wedding dinner special. Thank you for the great food!
After checking the reviews, my wife and I went there for our 25th wedding anniversary. The service was great. The live piano music definitely added a touch of class. We were both disappointed when our steaks came out, and they were both on the cool side, barely warn. Our server must have noticed our disappointment and asked what the issue was. When we told him he had the situation corrected and our food was reprepared. This time, it came out perfectly. Overall, it was a great experience.
Delicious charcuterie, steak and dessert. The staff were helpful and friendly as well.
The food is incredible, we had oysters, steak, lobster the list goes on the music is lovely, the only thing that could enhance it even more is having Tracy as your waitress fabulous. 5 stars all the way
7 tables open, and they told us we had to wait one hour. Because they had reservations for al 7 tables in one hour. Impossible. We had 3 kids, they didnt want to serve us. Worse service ever. So frustrating.
First time visiting Altas, and we were not disappointed. The food had great flavor,.and the service was incredible
Absolutely fantastic!! Incredible food, impeccable service and beautiful atmosphere! We will be back & hopefully the piano player is in attendance at that time!
Have been a couple of times. Both times great service, good food and good value. The enclosed patio is nice if you are feeling a little more casual.
Excellent service. Devon was outstanding, and very attentive. Lobster shrimp rolls for happy hour were very good. Would like to go again to try out more items. Creme Brule was delicious. Food
Had a mostly great experience here. The restaurant is attached to the casino so they asked if we were underage when we entered and checked our ID. The hostess said its casino policy they cant let in minors. It was great to begin with and my girlfriend and I ordered the seafood mixed grill with a porterhouse steak cooked medium rare. We started with an El Diablo for me and the Atlas Ceaser for her. The Diablo was amazing but the ceaser had no rim and was lacking in worcestershire sauce making it rather bland. Our waitress was amazing and she asked about our drinks and we told her about the dissapointing ceaser cocktail. She took it off our bill and my girlfriend got an El Diablo as well (this cocktail is simply amazing). When the food arrived the seafood mixed grill was delicious every part from the lobster, crab claws to the soft shell crab was perfect. Our porterhouse steak however was not the best. The strip side of the porterhouse was a nice medium rare, tender and we received black garlic truffle butter to enhance the richness. Unfortunately, the fillet/tenderloin side of the porterhouse was cooked to medium well and had a scarce hint of color in the center. Finally, as we were enjoying our romantic dinner together we were bombarded with the screaming and shouting of children next to our table. They were not there to dine. It seemed like they came inside because some relatives were having dinner. We were told casino policy required ID and were asked for it at entry. Yet the table beside us had children and they didnt just leave they sat there talking with screaming children for nearly 20 minutes. This completely killed the romantic atmosphere we had before and I expect more professionalism when paying $300 for a meal at a casino with underage restrictions. My girlfriend went from having a great time to wanting to leave. For future reference, I would recommend you do not allow kids in the restaurant if you are going to ID people at the door. People with kids shouldnt be going to a casino anyway for dinner if they need to bring them along. I dont understand how this was allowed as it seems like a major liability to let minors in a casino, even if it is a restaurant. What was the point in asking for our ID??
Tracy is amazing
Great food and excellent service
Celebrated my aunts birthday here lastnight. Big group of ten and our waiter did an amazing job! The food was delicious the atmosphere was very nice. As well as the rest of the staff.
Tracy service is amazing!! I didn t think you could still get service like this anymore. Stopped in for dinner with my son, was impressed. We will be back!!
I went here with my boyfriend for a dinner without reservations on an extremely busy day ( Saturday dinner time) they didn t have any tables for two hours but still accommodated us to the bar by where the kitchen staff preps food until there would be a table available , but we had such a good time watching the kitchen prep team working by the bar we just stayed there the whole time, and you can see how much care /attention to detail that goes on behind the scenes into the food! This definately transpired into the dishes we ordered as well. We ordered the Goat cheese Bruschetta, gorgonzola Mac and cheese, Josper Chicken & a New York Strip done medium well & , everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection . Hospitality and food was 10/10 definately will be back . Service was quite prompt as well!
Had 2 great experiences and 2 horrible experiences (service based entirely).
Love the Atlas Steak and fish Brand, AMAZING!!! And speaking of AMAZING, John, our server, made our experience memorable and noteworthy. The food was perfectly cooked to our liking and beautifully plated by the chefs... management were thoughtful and accommodating to our dietary restrictions, with no hesitations. Thank you to Steve and your incredible team for leaving a lasting impression on all of us and well be back to celebrate another occasion very soon.... Cheers!
loved Devon and Tracy
They went out of their way to make things special for us 10/10 would recommend!
Me and my wife visited this restaurant for the first time. But now, if we gather with friends or family to sit somewhere in Langley, we choose this place. Very... no, not just Very, but a very extensive menu in which everyone will find something for themselves. Sometimes there is a risk of dying of hunger due to indecision, because there are a lot of dishes, and choosing a few sometimes turns out to be an overwhelming task, because the sizes of these portions are exactly like your grandmothers). Excellent selection of seafood and meat dishes. Lots of different wine. There is a piano in the middle of the hall where they play live music, very nice. The staff is friendly, educated and sociable, there are absolutely no complaints about customer service. Plenty of parking, great interior design. There are a couple of points that could be improved, but this does not affect the food and the environment. Thanks guys, keep it up.
First time we had been there, but we will be back again. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and a fabulous server who made a wonderful evening even better.
Great experience!
I celebrate my birthday here and I enjoyed the food delicious..amazing vibe although it s pricey but the actually is worth. I ordered a salmon steak and the savory flavor is great.. The oyster is so small didn t expect that.
Wow.. damn good food and friendly staff.
Ordered their set menu, could pair with wine. Ordered additional food, oyster and truffle tenderloin. The server will wait until we finish the dish before placing the next dish. The oyster are fresh and sweet. The bread is crispy on the outer layer and soft in the inside. The tenderloin is soft and juicy. Loved all the combinations of the food.
Our steak was done to perfection and service was excellent
Not much left in the valley that hits on product quality, service and atmosphere. Weve been three times and fantastic each time. Food
So yummy!!! The chef really knows what medium rare means!! Tracy Lynn is an amazing server!!! The absolute best
Excellent food (everything cooked to perfection), our waitress was fun, energetic and very knowledgeable about the entire menu. Very enjoyable atmosphere, piano player was great but the volume could have been a bit lower(we had to speak louder than usual) Great value for the quality and amount of food you get Parking: Somewhat difficult to find parking since it s attached to a very busy Casino
The margarita was one of the best Ive ever had. The food was delicious. Service was a 10.
amazing and super cozy loved!
worst restaurant I have ever been in, the service is horrible they kicked me out of the restaurant because I didnt have my ID but they let me in and ordered the food first its completely absurd !!! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!
The manger is rude. Does not care about the guests, treated our company like we are nobody.
Totally disrespectful customer service!!!! Came here on Saturday October 28th. I did reservation online for 5 ppl. When we came waitress asked us if we re over 19 yrs old, we said yes. We got seated and ordered food.. When we got our food (starters) some guy came up to us and asked us about our id. I said I don t have it with me but i have a picture of it. He said i could photoshop it. Woah. Also my husband just got he s N license and still waiting for the picture id so he didn t had it as well only yellow paper. That guy (manager Max or smth) said we have to go after 10 or we have 10 minutes to eat. He was looking disrespectful and treat us not well. The food wasn t even ready yet. We are very disappointed. This is the worst customer service ever. How dare are they to speak to their customers like that. He was treating us like we are not customers. This is ridiculous. He just made us to leave. We asked our food to go and left disappointed. Food was delicious.
Had the seafood tower and it was excellent! As well as the service. Will definitely return.
Beautiful dinner, great service. A bit pricy but worth it
Experience was absolutely fantastic
Hmmm, Im not understanding all the 5 star reviews. My wifes not one to complain in the restaurant but afterward she told her prime rib tasted burnt ( only ate 1/2 ), her potatos were cold, the yorkshire was inedible and the coffee very bitter. My prime rib was good but cooked medium, not very rare, the Yorkshire was also inedible. The same with my sons. The horseraddish tasted like a little bit of horseradish and a lot of yogurt. $44.00 a plate. Got brussel sprouts and asparagus as sides, they were very good. My sons wife had a steak with a side of potatos, again cold. $329.00 with 1 alcoholic drink and 4 non alcoholic drinks. This was my first time at this establishment and we expected better.
I ordered a tomahawk. It was delicious. The whole family enjoyed eating. The steak satisfied us all. The fire show was also fantastic. The piano live on Tuesday evening was also very good. I gave the piano man a thumbs up as I left. He responded with a smile. All staff were also very friendly. I ordered 4 steaks, but it was disappointing that all the side dishes were baked potatoes. I wish there were mushrooms or vegetables
Took wife for dinner on our anniversary. Really great service and food. Highly recommended for those special occasions.
Come here for the crispiest steak and the most succulent crab cake. My fav hands down
We went here for my husband s birthday. Amazing food, especially the tenderloin steak - it was cooked to perfection! Staff is very friendly and good with allergies. Their live piano music made it an even more special experience!
Atlas is one of the best fine dining in town. Truely enjoy visiting each time. The restaurant has great foods, ambiance, live music, and services. Some menu items can be quite expensive in terms of quality and quantity (especially caesar salad - wayyyy over priced in my opinion), but most main menu items are worth every penny (especially steaks and spaghetti).
Good food, great happy hour selections and live piano music. We eat here often. The fully enclosed patio is perfect all year round.
Staff service is much better than Burnaby location, honestly. She is friendly and nice. Good quality also has a higher value. Spending a good time with friends and staff recommended good food from the menu.
Great service from Jessica and the food was top notch...
Amazing service, atmosphere and the steaks were cooked to perfection! The piano player set a very relaxing mood! I highly recommend Atlas.
Sometimes the food is really tasty, sometimes its only ok. Maybe too busy? Maybe changed chef?
The piano player was lovely, beyond that we were told we had to be gone by 8:00 when we sat down. This want mentioned when the reservation was made, we had less than one and a half hours for a birthday dinner. I had a tenderloin steak it was over salted and no flavor, the vegetables were also very salty but little flavor and included a massive amount of chunky zucchini. A six ounce glass of wine and my bill was $85.00. Id never return as the food was very disappointing and a waste of money.
Worth it!
Came here for our first time with a group. Devon is so amazing!!! We appreciate all the service. What a beautiful atmosphere. The pianist Troy? Played absolutely beautifully. I cannot wait to come back!
Gave I gave Atlas a try because I didnt feel like going all the way downtown a week before Christmas. The restaurant was well decorated, our group of 3 were seated by the big fireplace so it was warm and cozy, unfortunately there was a group of 20 people celebrating a birthday near us, so at times it was a bit loud for us to carry on a conversation at our table. For the starter, we ordered the ahi tuna poke, goat cheese bruschetta, and ceaser salad. They were delicious. For dinner, I ordered the NY striploin, along with blue cheese gnocchi and asparagus as shared side dishes, the steak was OK it wasnt as flavorful as I was expecting, I try dipping the steak in herbal drizzle that was on the plate, it only further covered up the taste of my steak, the gnocchi was delicious, I could had eating a whole plate of that on its own and the asparagus was flavourful and tender. I ended the meal with a creme brulee, which was pretty nice. Overall, it was an ok experience, but just with more attention, it would have been perfect.
I was treating one of my good friend out for his birthday. Ive had many great experiences dining at atlas, this location in particular. This time it was not the case I am quite disappointed looking back at the experience. I dont think it was fair because the temperature of all of our food was so cold pretty much under room temperature. This was made even more apparent because as we ordered a full lobster thermidor they only brought out half at 1st as they made a mistake. The second half came at a proper temperature. The chef even came out to ask if our food was ok on two separate occasions. I should have spoke out initially. Looking back at this now it is definitely a regrettable situation. Dont come here unless you are ok with cold food.
I was very unsure how things would go when our evening started a bit spotty tonight, but it quickly turned into a 5 star experience! Luckily we had Dom take care of us for part of our evening who can make anyone s night incredible! Then when we faced a couple challenges and were able to share a little bit of feedback to the manager on duty, I was so unbelievably impressed. He personally ensured we had a wonderful dinner and experience! I regret we did not get his name, but absolute props to an incredible leader on the floor at Atlas tonight! Thank you sir - between you and Dom you made our night!
This place is AMAZING: service is great, food is excellent. We had an issue with gift cards on their website, it was solved in 2 business days. Food : 5/5
Had the Cesar salad for two at the table, oysters, smoked chowder, and the tomahawk steak, umm yum, excellent service, friendly, prompt, pricey but you get what you pay for, especially these days.
