We were here for a Christmas party. Delightful staff and the steak and lobster was amazing.

We love their lasagna deal. The lasagna reminds us of the quality of pasta take out you used to get years ago. Seems like most pasta take out is trash, but this is soooo good. Highly recommend the lasagna. Looking forward to trying more things on their menu.

This place is unassuming when you walk through the door, and it is probably because their focus is on their food! I have foodie friends who will drive for over an hour just for their menu. I am lucky because I live in Langley! I will definitely be going back!

Ate here on Friday night. Although the food was decent- they offer no gluten free options. Restaurant is incredibly dirty- highchairs and fake Christmas tree in a heap by the front entry- bathroom change table was covered in dust. Lipstick on wine glass. They seated an individual behind us and allowed him to watch his iPad . The sound of the laugh track from his show competed with the music in the restaurant. Will not be dining here again. Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options aside from steamed broccoli and a baked potato. (Gluten free pasta is not available). For vegan/ Lactose free- the restaurant had no olive oil at all?!

Our steaks were all cooked wrong. Inedible. Sides were gross. $130 later may as well have burned the money.

Sad place. The food was unappealing and flavorless. Salad was flat on the plate and dressing came in plastic take out containers. The escargot with cheese looked great but had no flavor, needed garlic and salt. The veal and chicken oscarwere again bland. The chicken was a boneless skinless breast, had no color and again zero flavor and luke warm. Big honking naked baked potato the size of a fist. A server came after we had been eating for a bit and offered sour cream, bacon bits and green onion. The potato and broccoli were not warm enough to melt the two little butter packets (like what you get in a hospital cafeteria) the server was nice enough but ruined it when she brought two tin Chinese food containers to take our food home, we were still eating and hadnt asked for them. So all in all a dismal meal on this rainy Friday night. We have enjoyed this place over the last 16 years but we are done. So many great places to eat in Langley but Venetis has had its day. They didnt even ask how our meal was when paying. $100 bucks later. Never again. Try any where else folks

The owner is rude, obnoxious, has no boundaries. I had to stop 2 min to drop something off in the parking lot, it was empty. I left my wife in the vehicle. He walks up to the drivers side and opens the drivers side door aggressively and raises his voice at my wife. You owe an apology. Definition of little man syndrome. PS. Who do you think you are. You NEVER open someone elses car door!!

The overall experience definitely has the potential but was lacking. My most recent experience was not what I remembered this family friendly restaurant to be. The service felt cold. Food was ok. Its dark and the washrooms could use a good cleaning. I do appreciate that while the servers may be tired and a bit less engaged, they are listening and can still surprise you in the end. Kid-friendliness: If your child doesnt sit well in a restaurant, I feel this is not the restaurant that welcomes your slightly noisy/bored kid. If your child wont like the kids menu, be prepared to buy a full size meal, which we didnt mind for the leftovers.

Food? Bland overpriced, Service? Absolutely atrocious took 2 hours for my family to get there food then waited for the bill after asking for it twice for 45 minutes overall don t get me started on the food everything bland or tasted wrong

I cannot overstate how wonderful this restaurant is. A friend got us a reservation for my birthday today, and I left feeling absolutely spoiled. Everything from the atmosphere to the menu to the service was beyond exceptional! I cannot thank our server Ariana enough for the unforgettable dining experience we got to enjoy today! The restaurant itself is very cozy and well-kept. Everything is neatly organized and tidy, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and general ambience is very relaxing. It felt familiar and comfortable, like home! The food was absolutely delicious and prepared exactly to our requests! I ordered steak and lobster, which was perfectly prepared to specifications and beyond enjoyable! Everything we ordered from their diverse menu looked positively divine, and I wish I had the stomach space to try everything! Dinner and dessert was absolutely a treat! Last but most certainly not least, the service was beyond exceptional! Ariana could teach a master class in hospitality! Just an absolute gem of a person full of personality and charm! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, very organized and communicative, extremely nice to the kids we had with us, and attentive to our orders! Case and point: Im the kind of guy who likes his steak blue rare, and every restaurant I go to fights me on that. Thus: I got used to saying as rare as youre comfortable cooking. She asked if I meant blue, put in my order for blue, and it came out *perfectly*! Like lets cook it rare and he doesnt notice; this was a proper blue rare steak! 100/10, will eagerly recommend to anybody!

This appears to be an older establishment with almost zero street appeal with older tables and chairs. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent.

My first time visiting . My friend ordered steak and prawns, and I ordered lobster and prawns. The food was phenomenal, as was the service. The prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was family friendly, but you could also take a date for a romantic evening. As the lighting was just right and there were those tucked away tables, perfect for a date night. And all in all, it was a really good experience. I will definitely be back.

Had a reservation for 15 (11 showed) they had 2 other reservations for 15 as well as other patrons well overbooked messed up all the drink orders 1.5hours to get appetizers 2 hours for main course they were overbooked and understaffed then proceed to ask to be tipped for bad service need to get their staffing and booking sorted out family has come here for many years and not a single one plans to be back

I had reservations at Venetis tonight and my mom who has no allergies to food had such an allergic reaction after eating their steak Oscar she was immediately admitted to emergency in the critical care for swelling of her tongue and throat and face. This restaurants still had the audacity of making my mother pay for her meal. She ate nothing out of the ordinary but we all thought the Bernais sauce was quite a strange color of yellow. I had the steak Oscar too and even my lips were a bit puffy but otherwise I was fine after a Benadryl. My dad who also ate the bernais sauce on his salmon had such stomach problems following. It s the only thing we can think of that we all ate and had a reaction to. While we have loved this place in the past, they have lost three customers for their lack of care or concern.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. We were just in for dinner for a group of 6 we were served quickly and the service was excellent. Drinks were always kept full and the food was amazing. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable evening and a full belly.

Amazing food! We came here for a staff Christmas party one year and now that s our go to place for a nice night out Parking: This area is chaotic in the evenings so you might get lucky and find a spot right away or you might have to park across the street

We had a family gathering here. They layout was great for our large group. My food was excellent & believe everyone else enjoyed their food too. Service was great.

Delicious food, excellent service and very reasonable prices

I had a reservation for 6:45pm and showed up at 6:47 PM. After about 15 minutes, my fiancé politely asked the manager if we were going to be seated soon because our reservation was at 6:45(My fiancé is recovering from a surgery from and accident & can t stand too long. Also I brought my elderly parents to join us). The manager, then extremely rudely told my fiancé that When people come late like you, we have to move things around . Mind you we were only two minutes late for our reservation and we were waiting there for at least 15 minutes to be seated. I also called about five minutes before we got to the restaurant to tell them that we were going to be a couple minutes late and they said that that is fine and it s no problem. So after I confronted the manager and told her that what she said to my fiancé was very very rude. The manager was ridiculous enough to deny that she even said anything along those lines when I heard her myself and my fiancé also confirmed that she said that as well. I had told the manager that I heard her myself saying what she said, and she rudely dismissed us and just walked away from us to end of the conversation. Her being a manager,She supposed to listen to what our complaints are, and she had no interest in it. Instead she denied everything after putting the blame on us from the get go. She was Very unprofessional and handled the situation very poorly On a sidenote, the waitresses and food were great but first experience at this restaurant was ruined because of this manager. She was an older woman with gray/purple hair. Update: Manager called me the next day to continue to tell me that she did not say anything along those line after seeing my review. Said I m sorry you heard that Are u kidding me? Just apologize for what you said as a good manager should.. Although she did say she feels terrible and would like to give us a better experience that is if we do decide to return. Would like to bring this up with the owner if possible.

The choice of decor is a little funny to be honest!(love the little pizza men statues that hungout with us on our date) Had a good time and good steak. Give people more shrimp though, 6 shrimp is not enough for 2 people! (Maybe I just REALLY like shrimp though haha)

Old lady server put me off to go take another phone offer. Rude. Then the welfare salad showed up. Ask for a garden salad and got chopped Romain and balsamic not a vinaigrette was gross and the cheapness of the salad was laughable. Also was stuffed into a small.corner table no view and wasnt busy. Plastic containers omg really. Au jus was creamy chicken gravy. I thought I was in the welfare line for primerib. All I wanted was a good meal and I got this garbage

I went there after being recommended by a friend. The quantity and taste are great for the price! There is also a kids menu, so if your kids are young, its enough to share between two people, and the staff recommended it as well. We ate souvlaki and steak from the year-end menu. It was really delicious and the kids almost ate my husbands steak. The steak was delicious too With 3 menu items, 2 adults and 2 children can eat plenty. And the staff are so friendly

I cant rave about this place enough. The decor had me worried that the food would be poor quality, but when all of the steaks arrived and every single one of them was perfectly cooked and juicy, I knew we had stumbled upon a gem. Venetis provides amazing value for money with good portions, perfectly cooked food and good service. We will be returning. Update: went back and it was just as amazing as the first time

One good thing they didnt charge me dor mine fave a discount and redid the prime rib i was ok with my salad bar and bakes potato lol

Went for dinner with 4 friends last night. The place was old and dirty. The service was abysmal .It was ages before anyone even came to take our orders.The server took orders from the others and went to leave, My daughter told him that I would like to put in an order, too. He said, I thought you were on the same bill, whatever that meant ??? Three in our party got their soup and salads, but my daughter and I did not. When our entrees came, my daughter s salad was with hers. Mine was not. We told the server that I didn t get it. He curtly responded that it was coming. He never checked to see if our meals were okay, if we d like another drink, if we d like dessert, or if we wanted our bills. We waited about half an hour after dinner for our bills and my daughter went looking for the server. She couldn t find him, so she asked at the bar for our bills. It took another half an hour to get them sorted out and get them. There were no apologies for the terrible service. Will never go there again.

First time here and really enjoy the experience. The servers were very kind. I ordered the private platter, but they were out of crab, so they added 2 extra lobster tales. The wife had the salmon Neptune, which she enjoyed. The escargot and shrimp cocktails were a nice start to the dinner. The menu has lots of options, and the portions are big. This place can get very busy so I would recommend making radiations. Please note..to not park in the convenience store stall next to Venetis, he is not a happy camper of you do.

You dont have a restaurant with this long of a lineage without being amazing! They sat a table for 32 and a table for 14 when we sat down. Our meal was on the table and perfectly cooked in 20mins

Excellent prime rib, and friendly staff!

I was part of a big party and had arrived late, as i was coming onto the restaurant, one of the staff members said this is going to be a riot to another staff member as they ware walking past me right after they finished sitting my family and friends. I felt this was a very disrespectful comment to make specially when the person walking past her could be part of that party and she could not have known. Her service continued to be a little flippant at times. Thier food was good but for the customer service experience alone, I would never recommend to anyone.

Not a child/family friendly restaurant. I brought my 10 month old infant in with some teething crackers for him to gnaw on. The hostess who greeted us gave us a hard time about bringing in outside food- I explained that the cracker is for his comfort (as he is teething) and he ll be fussy without it. The hostess said that my infant could order French fries instead- I had explained that he could not eat french fries because he is too little and that he is not able to eat restaurant food yet. She had said again that there was no outside food allowed. I responded that my baby might cry and fuss while we eat but if they re okay with that and if they don t think it ll bother other patrons, then I ll put the teething crackers in the car. The hostess had then said it was fine for this time but condescendingly told me not to bring it next time. I couldn t believe all this fuss over teething crackers for a 10 month old. It was very disappointing as I have brought my baby in the past with teething crackers and baby purées and it s never been an issue. The staff used to be so friendly and interactive with my baby as well when I d bring him in, which is why my family and I always came back. I m not sure what s changed recently but it was quite a letdown. I will credit the one waitress we had though who was very kind. Otherwise it was an unwelcoming experience. The place doesnt look very attractive from the outside, but once inside the decoration is very elegant and makes you feel very comfortable. The service is top quality and excellent. The food is delicious, haute cuisine. The seasoning is something unusually good, the food is enjoyed from the first bite. I highly recommend it, all the good things I can say are not enough. Went there for my friends birthday party wasnt allowed to bring in a custom made cake, there was no access for a wheelchair, and the custom made menu we werent allowed to order off of it. Even though the restaurant was empty!!!! Dont ever go here !!!!!

Went to Venetis, as was a Birthday Surprise for me, as arranged by a Very Beautiful Young Asian Lady for my fiancée & I. The Young Asian had a Steak & Lobster & Fiancée had just a Steak Dinner. The Petite Young Asian decided to have more Vegetable in her choice. What She Received was what was perceived as being 2/3 of an Uncut/Unsliced Entire Broccoli !! - Say What !! Picture This, a Petite Asian Girl with Enough Broccoli to Feed a Horse, & Yet even the Horse Wouldnt Be Able to Finish it, Either! I would have Much Rather seen an Array of Mixed Vegetables, (See Frozen Section in Grocery Store), the Color Array if Carrots/Peas/Corn, as an Example, would have been a Much Nicer Presentation on Her plate !! ... the Other Choices were: Baked Potato ; Mashed Potato; & French Fries ... (French Fries ! for a Restaurant like This, Youre Kidding, right??). The Young Asian Girl that arranged this Beautiful Surprise for us, had remembered of the Buffet Style events. The Area is still present for Buffets, but is now decorated with Trinkets & Other Stuff. So, She was Disappointed that Buffet didnt seem to be an Event, since Covid. I Absolutely Ensured That my Petite Asian Friends Thought & Gesture was More Relevant than the Restaurant (as i had even became Slightly Emotional, due to I Didnt Know She was going to Be there until I Arrived !! What a Beautiful Surprise it was !! The Venetis Decor is So So. The Fire Pit, has been replaced by 5 Battery Operated Candles ... Seating Arrangements are of a Darker Decor, which is fine, but there seems to be no Character or Theme of presence. Overall, This was my First Experience in Venetis Restaurant... and my Last ! Our Petite Asian Friend was Disappointed with What She Expected & Her Previous Experience that she remembered.... But, Rest Assured, that I Made Her Surprise Presence Alone be Thee Most Graciously Honoured Surprise of All ! I look Extremely Forward to when i can Return the Intentions, by bringing her to a Restaurant Experience that will be a Captivating Experience, not like Venetis is !

Service was quite bad and food was mediocre at 6/10. I was scolded for wearing my sweater when I said it was a bit chilly, waitresses were hot and made sure I knew about it. Overhearing the way the staff spoke to the bussers, there was a lack of respect for each other. Seems like the place is run by a bunch of catty Karens. The space is also very dark with no windows but from small skylights. Won t be going back! P.S. no vegetarian options

We ordered two specials. A 7oz steak w Tiger prawns and then a souvlaki combo. The chicken was done absolutely perfectly. Both meals came with broccoli that was amazing...still had some crunch. We felt the specials had a great price.

We have been going to Venetis for a few years now. Its a real gem. The food is fantastic and the portions large. Great pricing. Nothing I hate worse than forking out money at a restaurant only to leave still hungry. This is definitely not an issue with Venetis. The staff are great and you can see them working really hard trying to give their clients the best service. Highly recommend this gem!

How this place has over a 4 star rating is absolutely astonishing! My fiancée and I love a good prime rib, which is prominently advertised on this outside sign, and what caught our attention driving by. After our errand, we decided to give it a try. Our first concerns started when we walked in. Everything in this place is 30-40 years old at least. The decor is so dated and drab, and it raised the alarms, but we soldiered on, hoping for a gem in the rough. We each ordered the prime rib, and selected fries for the side, and soup for the start. The soup was just canned chicken and rice soup. Later, our food came and was unappetizing to look at. My fiancée ordered the regular cut, and I ordered the king cut, which was supposed to be bigger. There was barely a difference in size, and the au jus appeared almost grey. The meat itself was bland and lacking flavour. The fries were soggy and without much salt. On each plate there was a solitary large piece of steamed broccoli. I asked if the prime rib came with horseradish, which is what goes with it. They had one left, by which they meant the restaurant had a solitary to-go plastic container with horseradish in it. A steak place without horseradish is rather preposterous. We will definitely not be going back, as we were greatly disappointed!

The vibe is super old school which I find quite charming. The service has old school diner vibes as well. I generally prefer less attentive staff, but I cant really complain about that. Its really up to personal taste. Im a dark booth in the corner kind of person generally. Ill definitely have to go back though because the steak was delicious! Tender and flavourful and cooked perfectly. If youre craving a steak in Langley, this place knows what theyre doing.

Maybe I was expecting too much because the reviews were good.. First of all, it was disappointing First, Coke was plain water. Second, the server was not friendly. Third, its a shame theres no salad bar. Taste very ordinary Good value for money alone Compared to other Western restaurants, the portion size is large for the price. Were not big eaters either. Im so full! I didnt feel like... I stopped by Costco on my way home. I bought a hot dog cola set and fries. I was full after eating. First and last visit...

Excellent food, but the soup with the steak is always the same and very salty, but the rest of the food is really good. Parking: We have never had a problem finding a place, there is also a park opposite, so there is a good option.

My family and I have been going to Venetis for 20 plus years and the service has diminished especially on the weekend, even from staff who have been working there for years. The beef was all over cooked when we had told them how we wanted it done. The manager is exceedingly stingy and never honors discounts for lousy food and service, and marks up prices for larger groups. We had been interrogated for a smaller from of 5 to 7 people, asking if we were celebrating anything so they could add a 15% tip and an up- priced menu, very tacky and lousy service. Although the service is very poor, there are not many good places for steak left in the area besides Venetis. The majority of the staff are nice and the restaraunt is very clean, but has dark atmosphere. Soup or salad is also a great touch for included appetizers with most meals. The tatziki and souvlaki are the best hands down! They definitely know how to cook Greek food, although more of a steak house. Food can be salty.

good entrees and service. The salad is a bit sad, plain and not as fresh as it could be. This is Moms favorite restaurant. I had to ask them to turn down the overhead speakers, I dont understand why they play a radio station with advertising and talking, perhaps they should consider some classic music for background ambiance and a much better guest experience if youre the one seated directly under the speakers in the ceiling.

A true gem in the valley. Delicious steak and lobster for about $35...come on ,where alse will you find this? And I mean Delicious,..the steak is as tasty as you.will find anywhere at much more money. Tonite was my third visit and this family owned restaurant just NEVER disappoints.

Food is very good. I ordered a veal dish on skip the dishes, was very good just wish it came with veges.

We had a birthday dinner reservation was at 5 at we had a table for 8 but only 5 showed. Birthday girl was running behind our server made a point of saying your reservation is at 5 and we need the table by 7 they moved out table around after we were there for an hour to take a table away. Overall not a good experiance with the server!

I have been coming here for quite a few yrs and the food and pricing is great, I took my family there last night and was very disappointed in the way we were treated. (By.the owner) my wife brought in a water bottle with filtered water for our 3 yr old child. (A bright orange kids one ) the owner asked before we were even seated what was in it . We told her water for our 3yr old. 3/4 through our meal We then were handed our bill and was handed the card machine as we were still eating. After our 150$ meal.and as we were leaving she prompted to tell my wife very rudely that outside food and drink was not allowed at her establishment. I told her she was rude and out of line and disrespectful and would.not be back. It is a shame because she use to be very nice and polite... the last 2 times with our family not so much.

Was GOING to eat here for dinner. While waiting for them to open I went over to the park with my family. Came back to a note on my windshield and then a lady coming up to me getting mad at me telling me its private property and next time she will have me towed. So fair warning to anyone who wants to come here to eat. YOU MAY BE TOWED FOR DOING SO!!!

The waitress that looks like Jennifer Coolidge is condescending and rude. Weve been going there 20+ years and shes my only complaint.

A friend of mine wanted to celebrate my birthday, so she suggested Venetis. WOW, what a great experience. She was not kidding when she stated that she has never had a bad meal or experience. My steak and shrimp where cooked to perfection. 5 star for food and staff, so stop reading this and go for dinner. You will not be disappointed.

Umm, the food was fine for the most part. We werent blown away but not necessarily disappointed. The atmosphere matches the exterior, which is to say... vintage. The service was curious... It was a mix of good and bad. There were times we were waiting ages for food or drink and other times we were served promptly. At the end of the day, we would likely not go back. There are better options out there for the same type of food.

The worst dining experience ever. This place keeps getting worse. Ordered calamari that they deep fried to death. Rubbery and just aweful. Server never even asked how our meal was or I would have sent it back. Prices are jacked and no salad bar. Asked for more tatsiki sauce for my calamari and was charged $2.50. I m mean come on. Seriously. Birthday celebration gone bad omg. Won t be back. Told them when I paid the bill not happy with the meal and they didn t care. Just wanted the money. Good luck with your business with this lousy customer service. Lost me and many others with this service. Been going there over 40 years. No more.

The food was absolutely amazing and very well priced. We had a steak and tiger prawn dinner with baked potato for only $27 a meal. The atmosphere is cozy, but it can also get really busy. I recommend a reservation or showing up before opening if you dont want to wait.

Remember this place as a kid. Going with Mom and Dad. Well last night was my second visit as an adult. It did not disappoint. The food is superb. Exactly how it has always been. The best French onion soup anywhere hands down. The steaks and pasta and sides were all perfectly seasoned and cooked. Appetizers really nice as well. Now for the service. Obviously family owned and operated Im assuming so they really take it up to that next level showing how much they appreciate the business. Just an outstanding experience all around.

For the price you pay the portions are large and great quality. The service staff is happy to serve. A quiet place that looks better on the inside than the outside. Dont judge this book by its cover its a great place to eat.

Poor quality, tasteless, very expensive. $90 for red meat sauce lasagna, chicken strips and a seafood lasagna, that was noodles, sauce, and shrimp. Sauce was horrible. Stay away *edit*, youre right, i mistyped, it was seafood fettuccini, but nice try to distract from your disgusting food instead of making it right. Shows that youre a cheap, tasteless company to match your food.... cheap meat sauce, canned shrimp

Was disappointed. Canned shrimp in pasta (my kid ate kinetic sand earlier, didn t touch that mess though), standard chicken strips with no fries (honestly, 4.99 Wendy s is similar) and a lasagna that was similar to a frozen one from save on that I could have baked myself. Not Walmart quality, but just a touch above. Gotta give credit where it s due. For just under 100 bucks, I d go elsewhere for half the price and better food.

This place is straight out of kitchen nightmares, and it wouldn t survive anywhere other than Langley. The veal Oscar was dreadful. Clearly a frozen food product topped with canned crab and shrimp. Served steaming hot from the microwave! Almost every item on the menu is a combination of canned ingredients. They still make a big deal about including the salad bar in the price it s all over the menu: entree comes with rice and salad bar plot twist: there is no salad bar, haven t offered it for years, they still charge you for it though! Instead, they offer you a depressing green salad in lieu, which I have included a picture of, very sad. A few shreds of lettuce on a nearly empty side plate with a comically large portion of salad dressing - only three dressings to choose from, but don t ask the waitress to repeat them or she gets upset. They made a big deal of offering AAA top sirloin steak on one of their specials, but made no mention of the grade for their filet or NY steak on the regular menu. When I asked the server if the filet was also AAA she was quite rude, said she didn t know and seemed impatient. She really didn t like answering questions and she made that very clear. I think a good server would have asked someone who did know, and then told me. All she did was place pressure to order and make the experience sour. I found no reason to return, be it the cheap, fake-fancy microwaved food, the hostile service, or the shabby decor. I imagine this vibe would be a hit in nursing homes and hospitals.

Good portion size but not amazing for the price and a dark, noisy place. Seemed short staffed as we had to ask for refills. Wouldnt go out of my way to go there.

To preface: I gave this place 5 stars 2 years ago prior to the pandemic. First, made reservations only to get there and be told I didnt make reservations; Second, the haphazardly placed in a booth thay was obviously not cleaned (see pictures); Third, we asked for 2 Stellas (beer), the waitress acknowledged it but brought us 2 sleemans; Fourth; given dirty cutlery (for both me and my friend); Fifth, and this a total nitpick but why not for the laughs at this point, Italian restaurant that has artwork of Spanish conquistadors by Greek artists lol; I ordered the steak medium rare, it came out more raw than rare, took 15 minutes to recook it? Not sure what happened there but I rcved the same cut of meat but now it was well done; picture might show it less red but that was due to the mood lighting in the restaurant, trust me, Gordon ramsay would be screaming something about it being raw. Ordered the bearnaise sauce, oh god, it was like being presented a trough of slop, albeit it tasted ok, presentation was very lacking for the price; They also dont do the candles under butter anymore, disappointed; Unlimited salad bar also gone, very disappointed. I know the pandemic has screwed things up, but come on. Ive been to other restaurants since the lifting of the restrictions, Venetis seems to have been hit the hardest. 2 out 5 at its best. Edit: Im convinced (based on prior experiences and reading others reviews) that your experience will depend entirely on what time of day and what crew you get that will determine your dining experience, best of luck. I will no longer be going here and that hurts bc I used to love this place.

My family went to eat steak. The ribs and pasta were also delicious. The owner looked Italian. From the outside, the interior was very bleak. Then how about it? I enjoyed it. On my second visit a few months later, the vegetables were not very fresh. So I reduced the stars.

Well this is the 3rd and most definitely the last time I will go to this Restaurant. I always give places a second try but I think the water that I was handed to me with a fly in it was an omen of things to come. The last time I was there 3 out of 7 meals were undercooked. This time I started with a Ceaser which was ok but really plain but ok. Then my meal, steak and prawns. The prawns where ok but the steak, ordered medium, was raw. They did offer a replacement but as I was the last person served wasnt feeling especially after seeing my wifes dish. She order the Chicken Soulvaki. The chicken when removed from skewer my wife double checked with me was on the pink side. Well that was enough. Not risking that anymore. Thats the 3rd time invited, 3rd time something is undercooked. Please check yours and hopefully you have a good meal.

Had to do a post about this place- It was that good! Went for a Friday night meal with friends. The restaurant was full; it is clearly popular here so lucky that we had a reservation. I ordered an 8 ounce sirloin steak with baked potato with a salad to start. First of all, where do you get an 8 ounce steak anymore for 24$ Answer? Absolutely nowhere!! It was done to perfection and looked more like 10-12 ounces, they give you a many toppings as you want on your potato and a starter salad to boot for 24??? Cmon! Thats awesome! Throw in the extremely friendly, fast, courteous service and its no contest- well done, Venetis! They dont offer a salad bar currently(a salad bar is a rarity anyways these days) in assuming due to Covid but thats a very minor detail.

What a wonderful meal we had at Venties. Chicken & prawn souvlaki served with rice, broccoli, pita and Greek salad. Chicken and prawns were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The rice was the highlight of my meal, buttery and delicious. Salad was typical with tomato, cucumber Onion, olive and feta cheese, well dressed and yummy. Chicken & Rib combo came with lasagna that was enough for a meal on its own. Ribs were fall of the bone So glad we found this gem and can t wait to go back and try the steak

The decor was a bit dated but the food and the prices were bang on...steak.. lobster shrimp..have it all without breaking the bank

We go once a year as a large group. We do a reservation and request our host Arina (sorry if spelled wrong) our service and food always amazing . The energy and kindness we get from Arina is amazing . The food we ordered ranged from apples to steak and lobster, all was so good portion and price wise. Thank you for a great time, see you next year.

Went for a birthday dinner tonight and was impressed! The food was delicious with loads of flavour. It was super packed so service was a bit less attentive than I would expect but also completely understandable. Would totally go again, even my toddler was happy. Though the high chair was pretty dirty, but kids are gross so I get it..

Honestly the first and last time I will go to this place... the servers were absolutely rude and atrocious, it got to a point where i made a comment to my family I think these people are warming up for an interview at Karens diner the waitresses dont even know how to hold a platter with water on it we were literally taking them off the tray for her and handing them down the table.. one of the old timer workers was even rude I was absolutely shocked and appalled by the place... also gotta say the carpet could use a good cleaning some areas smell badly of urine... yikes...

Love the portions. We quite often do delivery on Friday night but a little disappointed in the in house dining. My former roommate and I enjoyed dining here but this time they forgot my salad. Not a big deal with the portions but it did get missed

Way over priced for taste, servers were nice but place has a weird vibe. My prime rib was pretty bland and I asked to sub my soup for French onion but they said no. I could even pay to upgrade but they didn t offer. No windows and food wasn t all that great.

Steak and Lobster hit good Solid Calamari to start and overall great spot for a family birthday party

From reading a previous post I 100 percent agree with their perspective on this restaurant. I don t care so much about the throw back dirty old look as that s my choice to walk back out the door , i don t Care so much about the lack of the famous salad bar because I have never had the opportunity to try it however I do care about the food and In my case the disgusting service . Steak and lobster offered at a very reasonable price and was absolutely delicious. Here s the part as to why I m not going back . Being a past server myself, the person doing harm to them would be the hostess . We were seated , forgotten about then finally serviced . We had four different servers (hostess / 2 woman / and the sweet potato topping guy) when we asked for HP sauce 3 times to all 3 servers my friend eventually got up and went to the bar to ask . After being finished eating for 30 minutes with my empty plate moved to the edge of the table to make suggestions we were done , not one person asked us how the dinner was throughout the meal ( being steak ? Might have been followed up on ) finally my friend quietly respectfully asked the hostess from a distance because again no one visited our table once ( the only server that had even come close to us at any time of the night was billing another table ) she asked our bill . At this point the older woman (hostess ) stopped and yelled HOW MANY HANDS DO I HAVE ! WE ARE BUSY! I WILL GET THERE WHEN I CAN ! The table closest to us looked at us and shook their heads saying I m thinking picking up empty dishes was less important than assisting their clientele. We were embarrassed and shocked at the same time . When she brought the bills my friend gently mentioned that she didn t need to yell across the room . She responded quickly saying she was joking around and we obviously didn t get her humour . She passed us onto another server to complete the transaction and we never saw her again . One and done . It s that simple . I m sure this establishment has no intention of changing but I will for warn anyone if they enjoy bad service and a blatantly dirty restaurant enjoy .

Very rude host , basically she didn t want us to be there Rushed us to leave soon and food was terrible lasagna was a mush ,,,tomato sauce and noodles also the restaurant was extremely cold ..no heater was working Not going back and definitely not recommending this place .
