I wanted to take a moment to share our experience during our recent visit to your restaurant. The director truly made the evening one of a kind. Her warm and thoughtful approach gave a unique soul to the restaurant, elevating it beyond just a dining experience. She went above and beyond to accommodate our VERY active kids with understanding and kindness. When they finished the drawing sheets provided by the restaurant, she even printed new ones for them, keeping them engaged and happy. This level of attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for and created a truly tailor-made experience for our family. In addition to the outstanding service, the food was delicious, and we were very impressed with the excellent value for money. Everything combined to make it a perfect outing, and we can t wait to come back again!

I got a soup and it was disgusting. Im really not a picky eater but why are there mushrooms in my wonton and why are the wontons slimy? Clearly not fresh I don t recommend this place

Sunday evening, the atmosphere was really calm, but that doesnt really bother me. On the other hand, the drinks service was a little long honestly taking into account that there werent many people. The waitresses are not stupid, but are not smiling either For food, my boyfriend and I shared calamari (good but nothing exceptional), peanut wontons (I didnt really like their sauce peanuts), dumplings (they were good), Thai coconut soup (good but bland, not at all full of flavors like Thai dinners), wonton soup (my boyfriend liked it), a general tao dish (my worst dish this evening) and a dish of pad sew (tasteless) Otherwise the decor is very beautiful, but I dont think I will return there unfortunately. For a bill of $163 with the tips I was simply not impressed.

Miguel was our waiter and he was excellent!!! He knew the menu and offered us some options!!!! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary!! We really felt very special!!!

Good evening, the next review will be as unpleasant as my experience this evening. Today, I had a reservation at 5:30 p.m. which I respected, the waitress takes our order which is the vegan menu to share for 2 everything is going well so far. 6:30 p.m.: we receive the Thai coconut soup, 7:00 p.m. we receive the dumplings with MEAT, another waitress comes to take away the dumplings which were not vegan which we had time to eat in part and we finally received vegetarian rolls around 7:30 p.m. to apologize for the wait and we were served the main meal at 8:10 p.m. In total for our experience we experienced more than 3 hours of horrible accumulations of waiting and errors in the service, we were offered a meager 15% for all of this. I am very disappointed with this whole experience and I hope that the manager, or customer service, will contact me quickly to offer me more than a 15% off my bill for this extraordinary experience even though I am a regular customer I have never experienced such a bad evening in your restaurant! The dumpling skins had the texture of frozen dumplings from the store. The meat inside lacks any distinct flavor, which requires a lot of sauce to compensate for. They were warm at best, and nowhere close to how hot a steamed dumpling should be. The poke bowl lacked flavor with the unseasoned rice. The carrots were cut so unevenly that some were 1 inches and some were 3 inches long. The tuna lacks any flavor at all. Service was particularly slow, where it took over 30 minutes to get a poke bowl. Edit: Messaged the email and never got a reply

Courteous and smiling service, beautiful decor, good atmosphere and what can we say about the food, tasty with generous portions! As a bonus, good cocktails and a wine list with only private imports, options by the glass. We loved it. We will return with pleasure! Unfortunately little or no gluten-free choice on the small menu!! I wanted a large glass of white wine, the nice waiter told me about 3 grape varieties available, I chose without knowing the price. Bad surprise when I received my invoice!! I was disappointed by the very noisy atmosphere, impossible to converse without raising my voice... I will not come back! Dietary restrictions: very few gluten-free choices.... The only one offered to me was the pad thai.

A large number of us went to this chic restaurant for dinner for a loved ones party, and we received excellent service, both from the manager who came to see us and from the friendly waitress. We all enjoyed our respective meals and the decor is very beautiful and modern.

A nice discovery with a great decor. Food was really good; next time would try a more vast menu choice. However service wasnt good at all. And took a slushed alcoholic drink and it felt like you were paying 20$ for frozen juice (do not recommend). Parking: You have a 2h window the second you take a ticket in the garage. The restaurant will validate it for you.

On reservation, the table or bar option is not given. General Thao lacks sauce and my taste tastes burning. I do not recommend this restaurant especially at this price

Very happy to have discovered this little restaurant in Laval located opposite Place Bell. The place is beautiful, the food is excellent, especially the peanut butter and tofu stir-fry, a real delight in every way. Small downside for the table service which I found a little slow. Really excellent food, but very long and still ordinary service that they do not accept to change the pad thai with tofu for one for a pad thai with another protein instead although I offered to pay extra in the discovery menu.

Plate just big enough to keep you satisfied, but a little more would have been appreciated. However the quality of the food is excellent.

The manager wanted to put us at the bar, despite a reservation! It was not appropriate, nor appreciated. Additionally, the food was merely passable; the fried rice was of very poor quality. Damage... Parking: Parking on the west side of Boulevard Le Corbusier.

Third visit to Sésame but first in Laval, Place Montmorency. We were not disappointed with friends for dinner on the beautiful terrace. Very attentive service, the young waitress was very patient with my special requests from changing the choice of dish to arranging seats on the terrace. The food as always is excellent. The dumplings with peanut sauce, excellent. The salmon tartare and fries just as good. The friends all loved their dish. In short, we are absolutely going back! But dont park at Place Bell at $30, a real rip-off; Instead, go to the public parking lot on Corbusier for $10 and sometimes free like yesterday!

We had a great time at the Sezanne restaurant. The ambiance and decor are warm, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the welcome from Miguel, who received us with great kindness. The service was quick and efficient throughout our meal. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful culinary experience. We will definitely come back!

Dinner before a show at Place Bell. In 1h30 everything was done and without stress. We went there by chance and it was a pleasant discovery. All the dishes ordered were very good. Classic General Tao sauce a little too sweet for our taste, but the orange one just perfect. The dumplings as starters were also good. Try both sauces: Black vinegar and peanuts. Prices are reasonable for the quantity! We will return.

Unbelievably terrible service. Had to get my own water after 20 mins of waiting after being seated. Finally a server appeared There was only 5 tables in the entire restaurant and 3 servers at least. After another 20 min wait we got our drinks. We watched the 2 tables next to us who ordered their food and drinks after us get served before us. Finally after a total of 90 mins we got our mains served before our appetizers. The food also completely sucked. Tepid in temperature and saying bland would be an understatement. Plenty of other options where you can eat something edible and receive it in under 90 mins Don t waste your time

Varied and fresh menu, there is something for everyone. The Sesame salad had a sauce that was too sweet and abundant for my taste, consider asking for it separately. We fell in love with the clearly above average service, especially in Laval. Phillip clearly loves his job!

It was an evening before going to a show across the street at Place Bell, reservation made in advance for 6:15 p.m., show at 8 p.m. When we arrive there we have to go to the bar, not enough room. Then very very long service to order and receive our dishes. We only ate our starters due to lack of time. I do not recommend you before a show or otherwise get even further ahead.

We had made a reservation without mentioning the terrace, they called us 10 minutes before to tell us that there was no room inside and that we would be outside in the rain, not very pleasant, however the food was excellent

Although the food is excellent, I am particularly disappointed with the management of the restaurant at the Laval branch. As there was a show at Place Bell on the day of our reservation, several items on the menu were unavailable. As we had come mainly for these, we left and decided to return 2 days later. During this second reservation, I asked to be informed if the menu changed. I was called 30 minutes (I was already on my way) before booking to inform me that the situation would be the same until at least August.

Nice place and I enjoyed my meal. Found the portion was reasonable and the food generally tasty. Im not sure I can say anything bad, I mean its rice and veggies and a protein. It was good. Just one small detail...why the chopstick in the drinks? Put an actual straw or a noodle to drink from like ive seen other places do.

My favorite restaurant!! I went to eat with a friend and we loved the flavors! Everything was delicious! I always take the discovery menu for 2 people and the portions are more than generous. We always come back with takeaways. The service was also no.1! The young man was smiling, polite, helpful and attentive. My tip was commensurate with this exceptional service! The only criticism I could give was that we were seated on the bench (1st near the entrance) and we were completely frozen. The air conditioning was way too intense.

Nice waitress, but extremely slow service. It took more than an hour and a half for a dinner where no one was there to be able to eat. Just getting the bills took 15 minutes. I am allergic to fish and seafood and nothing indicates on the menu that many of their sauces contain shellfish and other fish. For a business or team dinner I do not recommend it if you are in a hurry.

We visited this restaurant without reservation. However, we found a comfortable place. We were treated very kindly and the food was delicious and fresh. The drinks were wonderful - hot sake and cold beer. Everything is as it should be! The shrimp were particularly good! But the ice cream that was given to us stole our hearts forever! Vanilla and sesame, I love you and I will come back to you! I recommend it without hesitation, it s a magnificent establishment!

I had an absolutely lovely dinner with friends here! We were graciously greeted by the host then enjoyed delicious food (not a wrong note!) , creative and fun cocktails and exceptional service! A special shout out to our waiter Enzo who read the room and offered the perfect cocktail and food recommendations and gave us the time and space we needed to enjoy a special evening. This was my first visit to Sesame but definitely not my last.

The thing I love most about this restaurant was the staff. we came in on a night where it was really not busy, and our main course took quite a while to come out. To be honest, I did not notice how long it had been neither did my guest. The staff promptly came to tell us there was an issue in the kitchen, and they would be compensating us for the time with a free dessert. This is absolutely a great way to make sure your clients are satisfied with their experience! The waitress was kind, generous, and suggested a dessert for us. I definitely appreciated this type of top-tier service. We got Poké bowls, they were good, just a little more on the basic side. Overall, I would consider this restaurant for its convenient location. Huge shout out to the staff!

I went there twice and it was very uneven between the two. The first was shortly after opening on a Friday lunchtime. We were the only customers, the waiter was courteous but seemed completely bored. The food was good nothing more. Green tea was tea in a bag. The second visit was on rocket game night. The restaurant was crowded. The service was still super fast and we found the food better than the first time (different cook?). We really enjoyed the sake tasting. The decor is magnificent. Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made with tofu.

The restaurant is very beautiful and the majority of the staff are welcoming. On the other hand, its unprofessional to whisper things about customers in front of them. The price of the meals is exaggerated in my opinion. 4 dumplings for 2 people with a bland taste. The menu for 2 people at $44 each person is supposed to represent the best of their meal, but the taste was not there. The food looks great, but its actually disappointing when you take a bite. We had dinner there. So we took advantage of the lunch menu. We had wonton soup as a starter which was very good. The meal was a general tao. It was good, but really too spicy. My mouth was on fire, it was unpleasant. I mentioned this to the waitress and she offered to correct the situation if necessary (which I appreciated). The presentation of the dishes was simple and beautiful. The homemade lemonade is very good. The cheesecake was ordinary and the chocolate cake was no longer available. The dessert service was extremely long, I wouldnt have known about it. Otherwise, the rest was fine. The decoration of the restaurant is magnificent! I will definitely go back to try other dishes! Also good to know, there is free parking access for 2 hours.

Food was way below par from what we expected. No taste/ flavor in the 2 poke bowls we ordered. We ordered 2 appetizers. No value in the appetizers versus the price they charge. No one will gain weight in this restaurant. Service was ok. Took long to get our main meals.Waitress kept complaining to us about the kitchen staff. Not very professional. I wont be back as overall there are many options in Laval that are much better than this restaurant. Dommage

When you opened at the beginning the portions are correct I am still a customer who comes back quite often I stopped by today to place an order to take away I find that you have really reduced your portions at the price it costs it is really expensive you just lost me as a customer Im including the photo too I paid 23 and something for this dish for a small deal like that its really ridiculous Im a very dissatisfied customer

Shared experience. Starter of wontons with delicious and generous peanut sauce. Tasteless Thai coconut meal soup and very far from authentic Thai soups. Need to refine certain dishes and live up to the decor.

I went to the pre-opening party, very nice experience! The prices are a little high but its worth it, I took one of the tasting menus and I got my moneys worth, even a lunch for the next day. The people are courteous and the decor is magnificent. The only negative thing we could say is that the music is just a little too loud for a pleasant conversation. But overall I recommend it!

A small negative remark is that I would have liked to have a placemat or tablecloth but that is not the end of the world we will go back for sure well done to all the team

I really liked my experience. The food was good, the tofu was perfect. I was asked if I had any dietary restrictions when ordering, I asked not to have broccoli in my vegetables, which I believe is an unusual request and it was respected! A big thank you!

Considering theyve only been open two weeks, the services were good and the food was good. The only problem is with indoor parking. The directions to the restaurant are non-existent and getting out becomes a maze if you take the wrong side. The waitress had stamped my parking ticket and I had not taken a copy of the invoice. Which created a very unpleasant situation with the spoils clerk.

What a joy to see that Sésame has finally opened its doors in Laval! We were looking forward to it and the result lived up to our expectations. Whether you come for a quick lunch or a dinner in good company, Sésame offers a most pleasant experience. Strategically located near the Montmorency metro station and opposite Place Bell, the place is a paradise for fans of hockey and shows. The space is very well appointed, with careful decoration and comfortable tables. As for the food, it is impeccable on every visit. My personal favorites are the General Tao and the shrimp tempura. The restaurant also offers a discovery menu for 2 or 4 people, an excellent way to taste several of their delicious dishes. It is an ideal option for those who want to learn about Sesame cuisine without committing to a single choice. I recommend Sésame to anyone looking to have a good time while tasting quality dishes. This new establishment has perfectly integrated into the dynamism of Laval and is already establishing itself as an essential address in the city. Parking: You can park at the Montmorency metro station for free or you can pay for parking in the Montmorency area or at the Place Bell located opposite the restaurant.

Everything is excellent, the atmosphere is very modern and very good service

After seeing the google reviews, I was very excited to try this place. My expectations were very high. Unfortunately, I found it to be disappointing in taste and overall quality of food. The food I ordered pretty much all tasted the same and lacked a lot of flavor. Also veryyyyy pricey for what you get!!

Excellent food, but we ordered cocktails which never arrived. We were always told it was going to happen. We asked for water while waiting, which also never came. After 1h25, we asked for our bills without drinks and no reaction from the waitress...

Nourriture délicieuse, service rapide. Cependant, nous avons attendu 15 minutes avant de venir nous voir à la table. Je n ai rien bu du tout durant le souper la serveuse n a jamais apporté d eau. J ai commandé une simple bière et elle a dû la soustraire de l addition puisque je ne l ai jamais reçu. J ose espérer que c était tout simplement une mauvaise soirée.

Walking in, loved the atmosphere. The layout is nice and when we went the place was pretty much empty. Food was a meh. Ordered veg dumplings which were good but over priced for 4 pieces. Teriyaki rice with tofu was my favourite considering our other main dish- pad sew was a disappointment. I had ordered the pad sew without egg and was served it with egg. Had i been allergic, it wouldve been a huge issue. I was then told the kitchen had closed the wok station. 15 mins later was told theyll make a new pad sew for me. Very very bland. Felt rushed. The service was VERY slow considering the restaurant was empty. Servers walked around without making eye contact or responding to calls for them. I only gave them 2 stars for service because they offered to open the kitchen for me but overall was a disappointment for the price. Edit- I had brought the pad sew home. All it needed was some more garlic, ginger, onion and salt to elevate the dish. Parking: The restaurant does validate parking for its customers.

Very long service, dish not very tasty, error in several soup orders ordered with shrimp, no shrimp served and no correction offered. Order old fashion; received amaretto sour and the manager asked: has it been tasted? uuuuuuuuu

Very nice place, the food is excellent, both the starters and the main dishes, average service but still passable, the waitresses are very young and it seems that they do not have much experience but overall ok , place to try!

Nice vibe and decoration. But not welcoming. Restaurant was almost empty but we got stuck with a tiny table that can t fit 2 appetizers because the hostess needed to close a section. The food is food court standard, all tasted the same extra sauce, tiny tasteless shrimps in platters. Kitchen did not respect our customization.Three stars instead of one for 2 reasons, waiter was helpful, and it is a new business and deserves a chance.
