I am at the restaurant right now and the service is terrible, we had a reservation and we are being treated as walk-in. Even if we were walk-in, can we at least get the drinks? I want my wine !!

You have rats in ur parking lot all around, and even one got into my car engine and destroyed it. I will make sure to send an inspector passes to your restaurant. Disgusting. Probably will take further action after dealer ship has investigated the damages as well.

We wanted to eat at Yoso, due to lack of space we opted for Kyomi and we have no regrets. The service with Mac was great, very kind and friendly. The dishes were good. We eat our fill.

What a culinary experience and what can we say about the service with Maxime Giroux, a very attentive waiter who knows his menu very well with his fingertips. A big 5 stars bravo for a general tao meal and a sizzling 3 meat table d hôte

The food was delicious. The service was a little lacking but still great overall. The only reason why I am giving a lower rating is because the restaurant did not have functional air conditioning and it was just so hot inside that you almost didnt enjoy the food experience.

Server Maxime very smiling and courteous, excellent cuisine and pleasant atmosphere. The portions are worth the price, although a little expensive if you are looking for an affordable restaurant. Good bond between the manager Jean-Guy and his server Maxime. Very nice experience, to be repeated. Dietary restrictions: The waiter knew his menu very well, willingly asked the cook for a special feature and the majority of the menu is lactose-free.

A try out of curiosity we didn t regret it. Beautiful atmosphere, tasty meals and excellent service from Émiliana with a bright smile!! What a nice surprise this restaurant is!!

I celebrated my sons 30th birthday. We were 15 people which five were children.The staff was amazing with the adults as well as the children.The service was impeccable and the food delicious! I never take the time to write reviews but I was so impressed !!

Food was amazing but service was extremely slow, waiter seemed not to have any other table other than our group and we still waited an hour and a half to order food. Took another half an hour to get a glass of wine. On top of not giving prompt service, our waiter had an attitude and was not even pleasant.

Superb New Years Eve evening. Excellent food, attentive staff. Special mention to the Groovetown group who created a fiery atmosphere and especially to Cossy for his great performance and his heart of gold. Come discover them on Thursday evenings during the dance evenings.

A group of 8 for dinner. We chose several plates to share: grilled meats, general tao, signature sushi, peanut chicken and sushi pizza. One person chose the veggie love nest. Everything was really excellent and well presented. The house sangria and cocktails were very good too. The service was very good, we didnt miss anything. It was a little dark at our table though. Thanks to the whole team. I recommend it.

I really didnt like the overall experience at this restaurant! The wongtong soup was good but nothing more, the garlic and pepper sausage starter was tasteless and the sushi meal was room temperature, served without any sauce. The service received was of the caliber of the paterie down the street. I rarely judge a restaurant by the service because its not their fault but the fact of being sick on the way home confirms for me not to return to this restaurant. After discussing this place with colleagues, 2 told me they had digestive problems of this type after eating there.

I don t understand the other reviews, very misleading. Thai express is better than this food! It really wasn t good at all and the rice in the sushi wasn t fresh. Pad Thai was dry. General Tao..umm just no. Service was painfully slow when the restaurant was empty. The decor is nice and the place has lots of potential, please hire another chef!

Horrible service!Ive never seen such a rude service!We reserved a table on Saturday night, the waitress took our order at 19.10 ,by 19.40 we were still waiting for our drinks, the girl never came to check on us!When we asked another guy ,if we will get our drinks, he sad that he will check!10 min later, we call that guy again (the girl who was supposed to take care of our table ,never came ),and asked him if we can get at least the drinks after 40 min of wait.?The guy got so pist ,started yelling at us that they have been experiencing some problems with the printer, then my friend joked if they also have problems with bar drinks, then he got soo mad,started swearing screaming !!Its understandable that they might have some technical problems but the waitress could always come and explain!!You dont treat your gessts like that We!!Never!! We got up and left!!What kind of service is that?!The manager came started apologizing,but we were done!!!Never ever had any experience like that before!Dont recommend that place to anyone!!!

This was the worst experience I ever had at this establishment. I went to have dinner with a friend and was treated terribly by their staff. Not only were we not provided with forks or napkins, we were avoided, ignored, told false prices for food and were yelled at after not wanting to pay 15% for their terrible service which is not legally obligated (we paid 10%). After talking to the manager, who took the servers side, we left the restaurant feeling embarrassed and utterly annoyed. Martine gave us a terrible service and we are utterly disappointed.

The menu has changed a little which is a shame but its still good. The wonton soup is always a favorite, the sushi was very good and the cocktails too. A little expensive for some dishes and those I was with (3 people), we loved the starters at the table dhôte, but didnt really like their main course, they thought it was better at the time Tamashi, but I didnt notice a big difference.

We were a large group, and they managed to satisfy us brilliantly, exemplary service and excellent food, well done and thank you to all the staff!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and what can I say about the excellent service!!! We went on a Saturday evening, 2 couples (Eric and the millionaire). We will return there for sure. I cant wait to try the restaurant downstairs!

The food is superb!!

In a self-standing building in eastern-ish Laval (on boul. des Laurentides just south of St. Martin) Kyomi has ample parking and large entertainment space, which would be good for bigger groups. The resto is separated into two parts...the upper main level is a traditional Asian-inspired restaurant while the lower floor (under the name Yoso) is much more Japanese styled including private tatami rooms for up groups of up to 8 persons. Note that Yoso has a Prix Fixe menu (at around $95 per person) versus upstairs Kyomi with a traditional a la carte menu. We were expecting Kyomi (based on the name) to have traditional Japanese only cuisine, but in fact it is a multi Asian style (including Vietnamese and Thai dishes...like Pad Thai and Poke bowls). We had the classic green salad, a mixed Classique sushi plate (California Roll, Spicy Salmon, and Boston Roll), a Shrimp Pad Thai and Fried Banana for dessert. Overall the meal was OK but nothing exceptional. The service was quite friendly and engaging will all members checking up on us and making sure everything was OK. Enjoy!

My husband and I ate at Kyomi, we had the Yoso experience. Everything was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and the portions were very generous for 2 people! The owner is adorable! She came to make sure everything was to our liking throughout the evening. The service was fast, efficient and very pleasant. A beautiful evening between lovers! A big thank you to the whole team.

I went back there recently before it was the tamashi and apart from the name nothing has really changed, decent food for the high price. Borderline fresh seafood. I dont plan on going back there anytime soon.

First thing walking in, you noticed that the venue is so nicely decorated and the ambiance is great! The beautiful aquarium and pieces they have downstairs are breath taking! The food is great and the portions are more than enough for the price you pay. Overall, incredible fresh food. A must try!

I went with a group of friends to celebrate 2 bdays. First they sat us right in the center of the restaurant on 2 different tables. Then, when it was time to order, some people took the Table dhotes ( 3 course meal) for 40$. The soup was DELICIOUS. The 2nd dish...we never got and the main dish was also DELICIOUS. So food wise, A+. One of my friend got somemfood spilled on him, ( accidents happens but still a downer). Those whom ordered the table dhote never got the 2nd dish and we still paid full price. When i noticed, i spoke to the manager, he gave me a 50$ gift card to apologize. Overall, food is delicious, will i ever go back...i dont know.

Its no longer a BYOB and we were taken by surprise. On the other hand, the food is very very very good!! The menu lacks a bit of choice, but it was delicious.

We arrived there with a COFFRET PRESTIGE card but the menu for this card was less advantageous than their table dhôte. So they refused to apply this $100.00 card I ordered the sushi at the table dhôte and was very disappointed by the quality. 5 salmon boiled sushi, 5 chicken sushi!!!! and 5 breaded shrimp sushi (certainly not breaded the same day. Cocktails for $13 which were made from already prepared cans. Meal for 3 people $200.00 the quality of the meal in general was not up to par

The place is really nice, staff was really nice and the food was good but it took a really long time to get our main meals. Now, this is my first time there and they seemed swamped without much staff so I dont know if this is common. They did offer us another dish (starter) on the house for the trouble and said sorry multiple times which is HIGHLY appreciated. The only reason I put 4 stars is that it did dampen the experience and the food was ok (could be my personal preference). Really disappointing, slow service, cleanliness is questionable and you can no longer take your wine with you. And their wine cards are of low quality and the price of a wine at the SAQ is 12.50 and they sell it for $40. Questionable food and for a meal for two it cost me $165 and 1 hour 30 minutes to be served. No this restaurant was already good now to avoid.

We celebrated a birthday with a group of 25 and everything was amazing! The group menu offered a lot of variety and every option was delicious (and very large portions!). The atmosphere is very nice and the basement has an impressive koi fish pond and decorations. We had the classic sushi, and the food was very fresh with a nice presentation. The waiter and manager were both extremely polite and courteous, and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Im used to Tamashi (former name of the restaurant) The menu is not very diverse, the sushi is not made in the usual way (not squeezed - falls apart when you put it in your mouth). The starters are ordinary if not uninteresting (spring roll with rice vermicelli and cold chicken wrapped in rice paper) difficult to eat and not a restaurant starter 4 , more like a common neighborhood Chinese restaurant. However, the main courses are plentiful and delicious ++++ grilled. If you are used to Tamashi, it is no longer the same thing at all. The waiter is really great 5 , charming young man, thank you for your excellent service

Im sorry but I really didnt like it... the food was really very average in taste and very expensive compared to other restaurants of the same style.. just an example a chicken with peanuts $26 elsewhere $16 really very disappointed... but the staff was very nice

We were a group of 9 people (Staff Party), very warm welcome, we were more than well served by our server Winston. In addition, he answered all our questions and we felt that he was there to make our evening the best possible experience!
