We are from Rawdon, so 75 minutes from this jewel, we had an appointment in Laval 3 minutes from the restaurant, which I saw by chance from the street, but could see that there were a lot of people at the restaurant, ( lunch / dinner, it was 11:30) and the parking lot was full, (so in my opinion its a good sign lolll) park, and enter, taken care of immediately , by the waitress (Sophie) and the owner (Louis), it starts well, placed at a table for 2, but the table next door became available, bench in the window, and Sophie asked us if we wanted the bench, ,,, so we change, and our coffee (at will) arrived at the same time by Louis, OUTSTANDING SERVICE all the way!!!!! Very elaborate menu, something for all tastes, cooking (there were 3 cooks) very fast, it didnt take 5 minutes to have our very hot lunch!!!! Very good portions and FRESH!!!!!! My wife had the surprise French toast, mountain of FRESH fruit, custard on the side on a French toast sandwich, egg, sausage, Swiss cheese; I took the Versailles, eggs turned, bacon that I asked for not crispy, and it was cooked PERFECT, potatoes lightly seasoned, very tasty, with half waffle with FRESH berries / custard, not proud of me, BUT I ate it all lolll; so to summarize, Warm welcome, impeccable service!!! The owner Louis walks around with the coffee and chats with the customers (that in my book is the key to SUCCESS) the only NEGATIVE is that we stay in Rawdon, BUT it will make us road trips , because it is sure that we will become REGULAR!!!!!!!!! Every time I dine in, the experience is fantastic the staff is super energetic, and Mano is phenomenal, always making me feel welcomed. The lineups on weekends speak for themselves! One of the best breakfast spots youll ever go to. For the last four Fridays, I ve made sel poivre,pomme my breakfast tradition, and it never disappoints! The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, relaxed and cheerful making it the perfect way to kick off my weekend. The service is friendly, fast and attentive and it s clear that they care about making every customer feel at home. I keep coming back because the food, the people, and the vibe are just unbeatable. If you re looking for a breakfast spot to make your own, I can t recommend sel poivre pomme enough. Its AMAZING

A PERFECT breakfast/brunch experience. Found parking, seated in booth in less than a minute after entering. Mary (who is an absolute ROCKSTAR) had coffee on the table within another minute and a half. The food was excellent; quality ingredients with great portions and value (also made impressively quick). Truly a benchmark establishment that Im now looking forward to revisiting. Highly recommend!

I ordered an order of white toast creton bread, it came with the equivalent of 1 ounce of creton and regular white bread and not crusted as is usually the case. Its too expensive for the quality and quantity served. If you like paying $4.95 for a minimalist portion of creton or the other day $4.95 for two small sausages served on a large plate, this is your place.

I have been to tons of breakfast places, but these guys by far nailed it. The food is spot on, portions are generous and the best is the staff that never stops flying by the tables, our waitress MARY whom weve had twice is professional, competent and always with a smile. Theres always a lign up on weekends of different age groups, but I am mostly impressed with young staffers who are kind and can handle the pressure very well, they step up when the heat is on and manage everyone and everything. BRAVO guys, keep it up.

The staff of this restaurant is a big PLUS for our almost daily visit on Sunday morning, good atmosphere, the food is excellent with the small potatoes requested always well cooked. Very good service. Parking: Very adequate for the size of the restaurant.

I didnt like the service, it felt rushed. I sat in the corner, we were 5 people and I accepted that they add a chair to the end of the table to accommodate for lack of space. - No air and smells - Coffee mugs with coffee stains - Every time, and I mean every single time coffee was served, it was fast and while pulling back it dripped all over the table and our plates. - Salmon had a bad taste -My cousins bagel was on my plate and I ordered Raw Salmon. When I asked the waitress why its in my plate she said well you can just give it to him. To be honest, I wasnt sure whether it was mine, a mistake or... My cousin purposely ordered a plane bagel because hes picky with food and does not like to mix much. Having it touch my raw Salmon was not appetizing for him not to mention he could have allergies. When I told the waitress, why did you take the decision of putting his food on my plate, she blamed the cook. I made the comment that he could have been allergic and her response well you should tell us I told her thats unacceptable. No accountability whatsoever. I had gone to the place before and I like it. Im never going back there again.

Favorite, fast and courteous service, Anglo atmosphere, well presented and hot food. If you like small breakfast restaurants, this is a good choice to discover.

The wait is really well managed. You have a beeper to know when your table is ready. Fast and efficient service. We went there on a Sunday. I had the buckwheat pancakes and I didnt know if they were made at the time because they were almost cold. I recommend the potatoes with Hollandaise sauce, their specialty!! A delight! If you want to eat without too much noise, dont choose Sunday.

This is a gem in our neighbourhood. We knew it had to be good since we always see line-ups on the weekends. We finally tried it ourselves both for breakfast and for lunch. It did not disappoint. The food is delicious, the portions are big, it has a great vibe, the service is excellent. Both servers were amazing. Sophie and Sarantis were very polite and attentive. Highly recommend this diner. I ordered strawberry crepes suzettes thinking I was getting crepes suzettes. I instead received pancakes drowned in syrup. You must not use known dishes and adapt them to your recipes without warning the customer. I didnt touch the dish. The waiter took it back as is and I paid for nothing. Very disappointing!

Its really a treasure breakfast restaurant in Laval. There are many varieties, the food is served quickly, and the taste is very good. The point is their service is really good.

Seeing the other comments, this place doesnt really need my 5 more stars, but Im going to give it the same since its the best lunch Ive eaten in another restaurant in a long time (with a quantity/price ratio impressive as well) Long live Salt, Pepper and Apples!

Keto chicken plate, wonderful delicious in a magnificent and beautiful atmosphere with husband, my choice was for $20 with a small change of toast for keto (a little extra) but meal full of variety (chicken breast marinated in oregano, 2 eggs of your choice accompanied by half avocado and two buttered keto toasts on the side, a bowl of yogurt with blueberry strawberry and walnuts, I recommend with excellence

Food was average for a breakfast place. I personally do not understand why people are raving about it. Service was correct. The waiter forgot 2 juices 3 times. Very crowded and noisy. Bar seen in the corner which is not very kid friendly. I love the table system where they provide a gadget that beeps when your table is ready so you dont have to wait in line hoping not to be forgotten.

The owner came to see me in a strange way asking me are you okay even though I was fine at the moment he is behaving in a very strange way he told me that I am worried about you he thought I was a minor at that point so even though I wasnt a minor he called the police I was really shocked that he had done that to me it took away my appetite to see the police came just because I didnt tell him my age and he thought I was a minor they called the police in the restaurant they came to see me at the table the police it was really humiliating its not normal its really horrible the way the owner saw things towards me my way of responding I didnt say anything because it was my first time that I had lunch in such a restaurant with an owner he didnt think of Normally it was horrible what happened to the owner plus he was kind to me I didnt find it normal what the owner did to me.

Nous sommes allés manger vendredi matin, le resto était presque plein. Malgré que le resto est petit, nous navons pas eu à attendre. Le service dAlex était rapide, il connait bien son menu. We are regulars here. One of the first good restaurants I discovered after I moved from Montreal to Laval. Menu is the most complete I can possibly find; food is unbelievably good, no matter you like fluffy pancakes or egg bene or baked potatoes with spicy sauce. Services are the best I can get as well.
