I recently visited Lavenue in Laval with high hopes, specifically craving their delicious waffles. I had previously enjoyed them at their Brossard location and was excited to indulge again. However, to my dismay, I found out that the Laval location does not serve waffles at all. It was truly disheartening to come all this way, eager for a taste of something I loved, only to leave empty-handed and disappointed. The rest of the menu looked appealing, but nothing could replace my craving for those waffles. I hope they reconsider adding them to the Laval menu in the future; until then, I cant help but feel let down by my experience.

This was my first experience as a tourist. People are friendly and polite. Im not a French speaker. However, I did try to speak French. They were very accommodating with in speaking English . The food is organic and flavourful.

The waiter did not ask us our choice of cooking for the eggs or the side dish (bacon, ham, etc.), we mentioned it to him less than 5 minutes after he left and we were told that he had already placed the order and it was too late. That he could add the eggs to us separately for an extra charge. Frankly for lunches at $20 its disappointing

This Halloween time, we decide to get together and go to lunch on the first Sunday of November, to try a new restaurant. For a change, why not have brunch? After a few Google searches, our group of 6 people decided to go to brunch at the Avenue. Special interior atmosphere (decors and layout), a bit odd and more reminiscent of dinners than anything else but good, 3 stars out of 5. After consulting the menu, I wonder what is the brunch and where is it? I inquire with the server. A lot of difficulty in French, he has difficulty understanding me and I also have difficulty understanding him with his sharp accent, it seems like we are on another planet. He explains to me that for this restaurant, brunch is the menu and I understand to hell the tradition of the classic Western brunch of the lunch buffet known as Sunday brunch. So for brunch at lAvenue, 0 stars out of 5 (impossible and false advertising, our brunch is in vain). Their coffee is a bit strong, very strong but good but very satisfies some people in our group who like strong coffee, 4 stars out of 5. When ordering, me and another person ask with baked beans? The waiter tells us that he does not serve baked beans because he does not sell enough to our great surprise, no baked beans for lunch? Here, in North America, in Canada, in Quebec, wow! It s like eating shepherd s pie for dinner without potatoes. But, for the rest (basic food for lunch) everything is very good but, a big but, for a place that calls itself somewhat organic. No fruit with dishes like almost everywhere else. 4 stars out of 5 for quality but 3 stars out of 5 for diversification and inclusions. In general, prices are affordable or slightly above average, 5 out of 5 stars. Despite the language and communication barrier (very, very poorly integrated by some servers), the service is relatively efficient but very courteous, 4 stars out of 5. Important note. No reservations, so arrive early. 2 stars out of 4. By the way, a traditional brunch, when there is a real real brunch (not to pretend), takes place on Sunday and is planned towards the end of the morning! And lasts all afternoon.

Service was awesome, atmosphere was fun but the food was just ok, bordering on bland. Too bad as the menu sounded like itd be delicious if on the pricey side. Im not mad about it but I dont need to go back.

Absolutely horrendous, the coffee is like mud, obviously not fresh brewed. The sausage was so tough I couldnt even cut it, should have taken the bacon instead. We asked for the butter on the side for the toast and it must have been right out of the freezer, couldnt even try to spread it on the rye toast. Not even a piece of fruit on the plates. Everything was lukewarm, what a waste of money. Never again!!

I usually visit Lavenue in Notre-Dame, but since I was in the area, I decided to have brunch at this location. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. To begin with, my server didn t confirm my order before leaving, which resulted in the wrong dish being served. There was a noticeable lack of attention to detail when I requested honey on the side, no spoon was provided. She wasn t the one who brought my meal, and it wasn t until I was nearly finished that she finally checked in to ask if everything was okay. I had to ask another server for hot sauce or else my food wouldve been cold by the time she came. I placed my empty coffee cup and water glass at the edge of the table, hoping to signal I needed refills. I tried getting her attention for it but she was always in the back. My server had pink ribbons on her hair. Didnt get her name, she didnt introduce herself anyway. In one hour of sitting, at least the food was okay. Still enjoyed it :). The place is nicely decorated and there is free parking!

Excellent food, its even difficult to make a choice from the menu, everything looks delicious! The service is a little slow and the music is a little loud in the restaurant but its still worth the detour for the flavors of the dishes and drinks!

The menu is somewhere in between (breakfast and dinner), not really what we were looking for (our fault for not having looked before). The prices are expensive and there is no childrens menu. The service was ordinary, the person didnt really answer our questions. Seemed very rushed.

NOTICED: I would like to mention to you that washing tables with WINDEX BLUE is not recommended because this product gives off strong perfumed odors and ammonia which makes it difficult to breathe and many people are allergic or intolerant to this product like me because this product is really very very strong. Please change to odorless, eco-friendly and disinfectant products like *THE UNSCENTED COMPANY* products. Thank you for your understanding.

Great experience if you are not in a hurry. There were six of us on the terrace. The music was loud inside. I loved my carrot cake pancake dish. Ordinary service. Server absent. We ran out of water. I asked two waiters for the bill only to wait 20 minutes before getting it. For a restaurant lunch is way too long.

Unfortunately first and last time going there. The waiter, also manager from my understanding, was extremely unprofessional. There was clearly some kind of work drama/issue and for a good 20 minutes you could hear her going off. Bro this, bro that, telling her staff off, cussing all kinds. It was super unpleasant to have to sit through that. I get people mess up but to scream at your employee to the point that everyone can hear, not cool. The food was mediocre, potatoes clearly were not fresh (super hard and stale) and there was a huge piece of egg shell in my over easy eggs (glad I saw it before taking a bite) Coffee tasted extremely bitter too (old or burnt) and it was served in a very chipped mug. So disappointed in my experience.

The branch on the Plateau was my favorite lunch restaurant for years. Incomparable meals at reasonable prices for the quality and portions we had. The Laval branch? A real joke. Where did they get their waitress? No service worthy of the name. No way to get menus, she fills two glasses of water but leaves the other two empty (there were 4 of us!), we ask her for cream and milk for our coffees, in vain... we had to we go get them ourselves, no spoon to stir our coffee, never once did she come to see us to make sure we were enjoying our meal, however when it was time to bring us the bill, that, she was quick. She brings us her credit card machine where they ask us if we want to leave 18, 20 or 25% tip after taxes!!!! Are you going crazy?! Not even the 15% option and its calculated AFTER taxes, what a fraud. Fortunately, I was able to enter my tip myself, but how many people get fooled like this? The meal...again, people laugh at us. In 2021, and I will include photos so you can see the difference, the LINDÉCIS dish cost $19.75 and included 3 savory items (e.g. bacon, ham and baked beans) + 1 sweet item. The carrot cake pancake was twice the size, loaded with cream cheese between each pancake and there were nice chunks of pineapple and walnuts in the batter. It was a delight! For $19.75 with coffee included, it was incredible. This time my partner had the blueberry and ricotta pancake with the indecisive dish (and 3 savory items included). The plate was so large that the bread came separately. Today (2024) I went to the Laval branch. Same dish, 3 years later, the undecided is $5 more ($24.50) and it only includes one savory choice (whereas before it was 3 for $5 less). The carrot cake pancake is a real stuffing. Its like a dry whole wheat pan with a light slurry on top. So dry that even with syrup, it wasnt any more succulent. I swear this pancake used to be INCREDIBLE with its thick cream cheese topping between each pancake. The plate is much smaller than before for $5 more than in 2021 and it tastes very ordinary. I also remember that the coffee was delicious on LAvenue du Plateau. Here, it tasted like water... But what a total disappointment. And to see all these people lining up to eat there, being fooled by the prices, the quality and the poor service. Not to mention the payment system which offers us tips from 18% after taxes... Avenue Laval.... its over.

We chose the terrace. When we came to take our order we werent ready but I mentioned to the waiter that I was hesitant to stay on the terrace because of the noise of the cars on St-Martin. He told us that he would come back while we made our choice and without seeing or knowing he put on the music. No more car noise, attention much appreciated. Unfortunately, although we mentioned that we wanted very soft eggs, one of the plates had almost hard-boiled eggs. We were, however, asked if we would like another plate, which was much appreciated. Halfway through we were invaded by wasps and our server made us sit inside. Very good service and despite the plate with the eggs a little overcooked, the whole thing was very good. Small downside the sliced ham .. at the St-Henri branch we had in the past been treated to real ham cooked on the bone and shredded which makes a good difference in terms of texture and presentation. We are entitled to sliced ham (glazed with honey but sliced). Why not the frayed one? 2nd time in Laval we have slices... it was still very good but because of the eggs and ham fewer stars for the cuisine. There is no fruit on the plate, a little side would be appreciated. The portions are, however, generous. Offering the option of a half plate would be nice. Parking: Large free parking lot.

Unfortunately, the dining experience left a lot to be desired. The potatoes, obviously canned, lacked freshness, with an unmistakable slightly vinegary aftertaste. Also, instead of the expected turned eggs, I was served an omelette, dry and unseasoned. The sausage was also very dry, and the cretons lacked flavor. The bacon was okay, but the ham was surrounded by too much fat. The pancakes and French toast were disappointing, limp and flavorless, and the essential maple syrup wasnt even included in the bag. Only the wand stood out for its quality. An overall disappointing experience.

Food is good and menu is refreshing from same old breakfast menus. Theres often a line up, be patient. Because its so busy, service is a little slow for this type of place. Specially getting coffee refill. Overall a nice place to try out. Vegetarian options: You can alter most items on the menu to your liking Dietary restrictions: My girlfriend is gluten intolerant, they accommodated her easily

Food is well prepared and is served very fast. Servers are kind, nice and experienced.

The food was good! I had the eggs benedict with steak and mushrooms. The service on the other hand needs to be improved. When my friend and I arrived. The gentleman just said hello to my friend and completely ignored me. After eating the bills didnt come so we got up to go pay. The same gentleman at reception was preparing a milkshake. He took the straw with his fingers without cleaning them, took the machine to pay then handed it to my friend and took a strawberry from a pot, finally handed me the machine so that I could pay in turn, all this without never wash your hands!

A very depressing meal... I was a big fan of LAvenue for several years, but I think I will avoid them from now on. I dont know what they did on the menu but oh boy... The potatoes alone could give you depression. All soft and full of steam... They look like the old leftover potatoes that are lying around at the bottom of your refrigerator and that have been reheated in the microwave. Just thinking about it makes me sad. My scrambled eggs were bland, almost no seasoning. Instead of being decadent, the French toast was dry, almost no sauce... I have the impression that it was yesterdays brioche? Except that putting 1 inch of dry brioche twice with 1 mm of filling is not enough to compensate for the dry appearance. Also maybe it s just me but I found that the pistachio/raspberry combo didn t work here. The whole thing was just weird. The ham was good. The bread didnt come buttered (I guess the franchise executives really like anything dry). When I asked for butter myself the butter was hard. All this and we ask $24 for a plate... They even have the audacity to start tipping suggestions at 18% after taxes. Overall, I think it is the management of the franchise who are at fault, I do not blame the staff who are only carrying out instructions. In short, this lunch made me want to cry and I feel like I threw my money in the trash. I would have been better off staying home.

Terrible service! The orders never arrived on time, they brought my plate when my mother had already finished eating. They also forgot my coffee, I had to ask them to come take my order after sitting for 30 minutes. First and last time here

Best lunch in Laval: generous portions, very delicious and tasty, especially the Bobby Does Dallas. Too bad they no longer have Zak and Leo, but it will allow us to taste their other tasty dishes

My first time in this restaurant for brunch and it was great! The food was very generous, I loved it, there were few people so it was perfect for enjoying in peace. The music was really good and the servers are lovely I would come back!

What a great time spent with family at the Avenue restaurant! On the one hand, we were able to see the dynamism of the team, particularly the impeccable service of our server Fetrat, very efficient and ensuring that our experience was perfect. On the other hand, the dishes were generous and tasty. You can tell from the first bite that the ingredients are quality and above all prepared by a passionate chef!

Nice table cleanup, prep outside. Single diner. I ordered classic scrambled eggs, sausage, brown toast. 30 minutes later asked me if I ordered bacon. 10 more minutes later, got overeasy eggs, sausage, french bread. Then got my eggs corrected. Then, got my brown bread. I asked for Jam. They asked if I want peanut butter, I saidno. I got peanut butter and jam. I think all of this would be solved by using a notepad when taking orders.

Very fun, trendy brunch spot. From the outside, you are greeted with a view of the colored lights scattered across the ceiling. Through the doors, greeted by a very dapper young man in a white button up with black suspenders- a very fun touch. The hand-painted graffiti style paint job is eye catching and joyful, it makes my ADHD brain happy at least, no accounting for more traditional tastes. Ones eyes cannot help but be drawn to the Suzuki motorcycle suspended from a ceiling painted to resemble a cloudy sky.... we opted to sit anywhere that wasnt under the motorcycle. Server was friendly and attentive, acted with a level of formality befitting the uniform. Table maintenance could use a little work- empty creamers and sugar packets left behind a lot. As always with brunch I ordered a black coffee to start, bitter or perhaps a little burnt, I had to (gasp, shock, and horror) add a little sugar and cream. The food? Unbelievable. I ordered the salmon avocado toast which came out in a timely manner, beautifully presented. The avocado was smashed evenly, the salmon was of an excellent quality and in a good proportion to the avocado so as to be present but not overpowering, the toast did not lose its integrity or become mushy under the weight of the ingredients. The meal is served with a salad, lightly dressed. This salad was lovely! The dressing was not too tart, but not overwhelmingly sweet either. The greens were very fresh and not wilting. Ive been on both sides of the server relationship enough to know that these boys know their stuff, and the food is so good it makes the little detail fade into the background of an otherwise wonderful meal. Love this place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant lAvenue and would like to commend the exceptional service provided by Viviane. From the moment we arrived, Viviane made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm and friendly welcome. She was attentive to our needs, had extensive knowledge of the menu, and made excellent recommendations that enriched our dining experience.

Avenue de Laval Sooo much better than the one on the plateau. They made us feel welcome, everything was delicious, thank you and we are sure to come back quite often even if we come from far away....

The place is quite similar to the one in Mont Royal where I no longer went because of the Line Up... the cuisine is the same its great, really good brunch, plus there is parking, and really a lot of choice its really to do these are brunches that you cant find anywhere else and their juices!! On the other hand, we had a bad experience in terms of service, it was a disaster, we waited more than an hour to get our dish, the restaurant was almost empty... They forgot our juice, the service was extremely long , poor organization, to avoid if you are in a hurry (I went on a Wednesday lunchtime), otherwise you may be lucky enough to have a better experience in terms of service, that can always change

Waited an hour for our food. They told us they couldnt make the gnocchis after 35 min of waiting. Still no food after an hour due to serious miscommunication in the kitchen. Really handled badly. The server did offer us compensation, but really this whole situation couldve been avoided if only for better communication between front & kitchen.

I ordered the indecisive with tiramisu and mentioned at least 3 times that I wanted my eggs to be well done however still got runny eggs and once I told the waitress he took the plate to change my eggs it took them 15 minutes everyone on the table was done eating when I got my food and once he brought it back it was missing my potatoes worst part it was me who told them it is a good spot ended up all laughing at me

Very professional and courteous service. The interior is original, I like the motorcycle hanging from the ceiling. Ok atmosphere, but music a little too loud for my taste. For the food I would say good, because the presentation was good and the portions are generous, but too much for my taste. A giant omelette impossible to finish alone, so definitely wasteful. The omelette was good but I would rather have a smaller omelette with a lower price. Cold potato and hard to pierce with a fork. The drinks were delicious. Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options.

The drinks are delicious, whether cold or hot. It looks like we changed the hollandaise sauce and the eggs benedict dont taste as good anymore. The portion of potatoes has also decreased. The atmosphere is very nice, but the service left something to be desired the last time I was. Otherwise, in general it is recommendable.

I went there a few months ago and it was a very average experience. Their interior is quite lovely, but its not enough space for the number of tables. We were seated behind the separation wall in the middle of the room, and as there was someone sitting right beside the other side of the wall, all we could hear was their conversation. Food was good, but the portions were really small and the prices were very high in comparison. The service was quite slow as well. Unfortunately, I dont think Ill be coming back.

Nice place for a breakfast or brunch on the weekends. Good atmosphere, very lively and smiling and very welcoming staff. The food is very good and of good quality.

At first we were unsure whether to stay because of the number of people waiting. The management of the line-up is done masterfully. The service was done quickly. The food was amazing and the quantity quite generous. Our server was exceptionally kind and caring. The price surprisingly surprised me. I suggest everyone to go and try!

The food is amazing!! Service is good, but sometimes very busy to have refill or long to wait for a drink. Is a cute restaurant that I didnt try before as it looked like a disco bar from the outside. My daughter tried, and it really looked good, so I gave it a shot, and to my surprise that I was blown away by the flavors of my food . Im definitely going back as I have to keep trying other things on the menu.

Not a lot of options on the menu for meat lovers. Eggs, bacon and ham all had the same back taste like beef grease from all being cooked on the same griddle. Not good. The Pecan Pie French Toast was not that great, simple pecan pie filling place in the middle. A bit boring. No fruit on plates. Server and hostess were nice and polite. Place was clean.

I used to be a big fan of Lavenue, but my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. The quality has significantly declined since my last visit. The cup I was served had lipstick stains, indicating poor washing practices. Moreover, one of their unique features, the maple syrup, is now served in a tiny container instead of the charming bottle it used to come in. Not to mention, the prices have gone up, which would be acceptable if the quality hadn t suffered. What was even more disheartening was the minimum 18% tip added to the bill at the terminal. Sadly, I won t be returning to Lavenue anymore as there are higher quality and more affordable places

Mean waitress with an ugly attitude.. we asked her for ketchup and mayonnaise and she never did. We had to ask another waiter. On top of that, i got the bill and I was ready to pay, it took 20 minutes to get someone to pay. and obviously the machine was that waitress.. i got up and went to the machine that was at the entrance to have someone to take my payement and leave

The chef needs to take a better culinary class, because my food was basically butter. The wait was way too long and the staff doesn t seem happy to serve us.

I had the pink salmon Benny along with the pistachio coffee. This was by far the best combo and a pleasant way to break my 2 day fast. I would definitely recommend this if you are in town.

Cool atmosphere. Convenient parking. Was there on Friday morning for brunch. We were a party of 4. Were given a booth. It was uncomfortably tight (were not large people). Service was prompt and courteous. Plates were very well presented and generous but rather bland tasting. Music got rather loud as noon rolled around especially since restaurant was only quarter full.

Overall not a great experience.. the food was so expensive for not large portions and we did not like the taste/quality of the ingredients, seemed like it was trying to be too fancy. The waitress seemed stressed and was rushing us, did not smile once and held a staff meeting in front of everyone, was telling them how to clean.. the staff started dusting off plants next to us which was kind of weird and not the time.

The food tasted good. Service was fair. I had to ask for refill twice. I love the decor in the restaurant. A decent breakfast place.

I tried l Avenue for the first time today and it was delicious! They had a lot of nice options but for my first time I went with their l indécis which is a nice sweet and savoury plate (you can choose both the sweet and savoury which was nice). I would definitely comeback to try their other plates. The service was excellent and the vibe was different from regular brunch places. Vegetarian options: They have veggie options like in my l indécis plate you can choose a veggie patty or guacamole instead of the meat. Parking: They have a parking lot but it is small.

Worst service ever. Im literally traumatized. We waited 30 mins just to give our orders. Then another 30 mins to get our food. Which was mid and honestly they should maybe reconsider their portions. Anyways, i wouldn t recommend it!

Food was mid at best. Nothing to add on really. I m a home cook and I can cook similar stuff without having to pay 30$ for a plate. Service was way too agressive like trying to sell me a bad product and the waiter kept rushing me when eating. It felt like I couldn t enjoy the experience as I felt rushed eating. To top it all off, I forgot something on the table when leaving and when I called they told me they threw it away and couldn t find it. The last part is truly mind-boggling. How do you expect me to come back if there was nothing astounding about your service and I can t trust this establishment to keep a valuable for 2-3 hours if I forget it. Don t go there!

Your food is special and good But the hygiene is bad Dirty cups with lipstick on it The water glass is not washed well like there is some things stuck on them maybe because of the dishwasher I had a hair on my potatoes and really couldnt say anything to le my friend stop eating Last time i went with my family we had many wrong as this time Prices are so high to this kind of service Also sitting and talking to my friend the place wasnt full he came and gave us the machine to pay without us asking

Definitely never again! It has absolutely nothing to do with the one on Mount Royal. We went to Laval yesterday. And the waitress got my order wrong. Brings me a different dish than the one I ordered. I point it out to her and she tells me we dont do lunches... Well change your card in that case!!! I take the dish in spite of the situation... My friend having already been served, I wasnt going to make her wait any longer and have her eat cold because of them... In short, what a surprise to see that they made no commercial gesture on the invoice... Honestly, I cant wait to see you close. Its absolutely not worth the detour.

Be careful at the Avenue de Laval restaurant, my mother and I had food poisoning.

Be cautious... We all had to run to the toilet a hour after we left that place. No fruit with breakfast meal....the most basic egg plate was a baby portion of food in a monstrous plate. Honestly you overpay for garbage food. Was out 1st and only time there. Go elsewhere and spend your money and get more.

It s always very busy so slow service. But delicious food and cute place!

$60 for two plates of pancakes with the added bonus of food poisoning. We both got very sick a few hours after visiting this restaurant. Big deal!

We went to L Avenue on a Sunday before before peak hours. We got a seated quickly and we re given coffee, water and our food in great time. But service quickly declined once we got our food. Waiter never came back to see us, our coffee cups were never filled and we ended up needing to ask another waiter for our bill because our waiter never came to see us again, this was about 30 minutes after our plates had been cleared by another staff member. It s a shame because I never had issues at the other Avenue locations with service.

The food here is excellent very good quality and generous. Unfortunately the staff is very disorganized. God Bless my waitress because she was a super waitress handling the resto while the younger ones not sure if they were in training or just lost in space but it was very sad to see.

Menu unfortunately much less varied and tasty than when the branch was in Boucherville...but the team is very friendly

I got spoiled! Every other French Toast Ive ever tried was a LIE! I tried their pistachio latte, it was excellent, too. The atmosphere and service was spot on. Do come early to avoid the afternoon rush.

Very nice nod to the restaurant on the set! For the decor: artistic, colorful, suspended motorcycle, comfortable benches and unique bathrooms! For the menu: huge varied choice, exceptional creations, numerous combinations, lovely surprises. Special mention to the Benedictines, baby potatoes and REAL maple syrup placed on the table and at will!

Food and service was good! Interesting menu that will entice you to come back to try out everything. Weird pricing for extras: $3.50 for cream cheese, also $3.50 for a sausage? (Certainly cream cheese should be cheaper than a sausage). Overall a great brunch experience.

My server , Ghill, was extremely rude toward me and my family. We had an amazing morning and wanted to celebrate over brunch but he made sure we weren t gonna enjoy ourselves there ! From the moment we sat down, he used a very rude tone I am NEVER going back there. He ruined the entire place for me. Then, I had an allergic reaction and he blamed us for it and then proceeded to charge me for what I didnt eat as well. I told him that there was no indication on the menu. Despite that, he insisted and tried to gaslight everyone at the table. At the end, he left with such anger and didnt say bye, I think he needs to work on his costumer service and be more understandable to those who has restrictions when it comes to food and drinks.

We enjoyed our time at L avenue! Drinks were great. I really enjoyed the Pistachio Latte! Food was also really good and portion size was good! Had enough to take home with me to enjoy the next day. A bit pricey but i think it was worth it

Lunch a little out of the ordinary. We were located in the central section with tables for two separated by a simple fence. It was very awkward because two other people were sitting right next to them and we could hear their conversations far too well. I highly recommend adding plexiglass which would greatly increase privacy. Beautiful place with stunning decor.

The food was okay not super great. The atmosphere was cute & I like the deco style even though its a little all over the place. Our server was nice, but they dont seat you at your table unless EVERYONE is there which is inconvenient when youre a larger group. I had to leave and wait in my car. Not fun. They are on the pricier side compared to other brunch places that offer larger quantities. They have a small parking and theres a large parking lot nearby. Would I go again? Probably not unless someone is coming out of town and REALLY wants to go. Vegetarian options: Youll find something to eat.

First time at this restaurant on a Sunday morning, 20 minute wait... not too bad for almost being 11am. Great upbeat atmosphere and fresh look for a place to have brunch. My server was very pleasant and visited my table multiple times to refresh our coffee, water and to see if all was good, and she spoke to us in french and english. The quality of the food was above par from what you would expect from a brunch place. Albeit they had a couple lower priced dishes on the menu, most of the dishes were a little on the high side, but imo its a fare exchange for better quality food and service. I would definitely return.

Food: Pecan French toast breakfast plate was delicious. On the sweet side, but was full of flavour and topped with a delicious syrup that left me wanting to lick the plate. Potatoes were better than you re ready for, not fried but maybe pan tossed with herbs. Bacon and eggs were yummy as a staple side that went very well with the baguette to make a sandwich. Drinks: I ordered a chai latte and the small was a great portion, could barely finish it after the large breakfast plate. Wasn t artificially sweet and I added my own sugar - not very spicy but good nonetheless. My souse ordered a hot chocolate that was good as well. Atmosphere: Playlist was a little odd, sounded like someone hooked up their Spotify and played their liked songs on random. The volume was too loud and hard to hear each other talking. Otherwise good for families and kids. Entertaining wall decor and stuff hanging from ceiling. Wheelchair accessibility: It was lacking! The restroom was downstairs and unless I missed a wheelchair accessible one upstairs it wouldn t be good. The isles were pretty narrow for walking as well which may pose some difficulty.

Where do we start?? The staff were exceptional - so kind and responsive!! I had the pistachio latte and it was amazing!! Not too sweet and loads of crushed pistachios. Absolutely wonderful. My daughter had the Rejuvenate smoothie - wow what a beautiful presentation and burst of fresh fruit. My hubby got Huevos Rancheros - packed with fresh ingredients, a huge serving and extra hot sauce! My daughter got the strawberry nutella French Toast and the portion size was unreal!!! She could only eat one piece but was in Nutella heaven. I got the Pink Salmon Eggs Benny - 2 poached organic eggs, smoked salmon, citrus, ginger and chives cream cheese, avocadoes, marinated onions, topped with a beet juice infused hollanddaise sauce, on a bagel. Quite possibly the best EB I ve ever had! Absolutely incredible!!! The homemade breakfast potatoes are soooo savoury!! A decadent treat for all of us. We literally stumbled upon this place - from the zany decor to the fun vibe, customer service and amazing food - we highly recommend and will be coming back!! Thank you for your attention to detail! These Yellowknifers will be back again!!

We go there order half the menu and even when we are full we cant avoid not ordering it as a dessert yum Also, if you find Le Plateau Branch too noisy and crowded, this Laval Branch is your go to!
