Very flavourful gyros. Overall the food was good, but the service was disappointing. I ordered takeout- the plate with two pitas, asked for chicken but discovered it was pork when I finally got home. No big deal, it was still good. However I did ask for only potatoes and no rice. Instead I got a mountain of rice and two small pieces of potatoes. Not sure what’s up with that. Willing to give it another try though.
Amazing, delicious, and "home-made" Greek food! They offer authentic traditional meals but also typical Greek street food. We ordered more than the images but were too busy eating and forgot to take pictures! Their grilled chicken is so juicy, I would highly recommend it. We had the stuffed peppers, fried calamari (see images), stuffed veal (with tomatoes and feta), and house Greek salad with vinegar dressing! Call and reserve if you want to dine in; it was VERY busy for a Thursday night! But they also offer takeout.
Excellent personalized and accommodating service! It's been a long time since we've had food that tasted this homemade. This was our first time here, and now we understand why reservations are a must. Generous portions of fresh, heartfully prepared dishes. Wife had the stuffed pepper, so good. We grabbed the baklava cheesecake to go—easily one of the best desserts we've ever had!
I'm a big fan of this restaurant. They have 2 menus. One with more traditional plates like gemista, roast pork, roast lamb, moussaka, pasticio, etc. And the other like pikilia, souvlakis, chicken, etc. I always go for traditional and never have I ever been dissapointed!!! Prices are not cheap but portions are great and everything is fresh and flavourful. Staff is really friendly too. This place is simply great. Go already!
Dinner tonight at this little family Greek casual restaurant in Laval that was highly recommended … Christina’s Cuisine. When we walked in we were greeted and somehow it was clear that we had not been there before, so the man proceeded to show us some of the items in the hot case for tonight’s specials with beaming pride (in case we were unfamiliar with Greek food). Although they didn’t show our reservation, they sat us immediately (and the restaurant was full during our whole meal…with several people popping in for take away.) It was just a small strip mall restaurant, but it smelled wonderful and felt warm and welcoming and you could almost feel a sense of pride before you even started eating. We ordered a Greek salad (fresh, crisp, and good olives), calamari (meaty and crisp without being greasy), octopus (delicious and perfectly prepared, but a very small amount for the price), tzatziki (creamy and yummy, although I’d prefer a little more garlic, dill, and mint. I like to reek after eating this ;D), moussaka (Greek comfort food at its homey best), pork roast and potatoes (perfectly savory potatoes that Mitch went gaga over and a nice beautiful flavor to the pork…although I always find roast pork to be a little dry, so not my favorite…the flavorful juices served with it made it delicious, grilled lamb chops (absolutely Mmmmmm and my favorite … although not especially meaty, very enjoyable and hit the spot). Mia and I got Aperol spritz’s (that they made cute with some blueberries and sprig of mint) that were very Aperol forward, our favourite twist as we lean more toward a Aperol 3/Prosecco 2/Fizzy Water 1 ratio instead of the usual Prosecco 3 and Aperol 2 Fizzy Water 1 norm. We enjoyed our meal and all felt like this is the type of place that would be quick to recognize you if you came back and probably treat like family if you were a regular (especially having watched the staff’s conversations and body language with everyone coming in and dining or picking up to go). We look forward to coming back and maybe next time trying a gyro or souvlaki! (A couple of photos we swiped from their website as we dove in and forgot to take pix! Thr rest are ours ;) )
Authentic Greek restaurant in Chomedey. Went with friends and shared plates. They also have Greek beer and wines. The tables are really close so don’t go there for a confidential meeting. Service was a little slow and we had to remind the staff a few times of what was missing. But the food was wonderful
We came to this restaurant on a Wednesday around 6:30 PM and the restaurant was at its full capacity. We immediately knew that was a good authentic Greek cuisine seeing Greeks family dined and lined up at the take out counter. We had a good time having food there. During the evening the chef cook, George, came to each table to chat with the diners. Overall, food was authentic and delicious. Service was amazing. I have heard a lot of this Greek specialty house and I finally made it for a fine meal. The ambience and service is awesome (the family feel is apparent) The quality of the food was amazing, my porch stick was one of the best I have had, we will be back! The plates are very large and flavours were amazing, a truly authentic Greek restaurant with attention to detail. Even the water served is very good, no tap water taste here. Another visit with friends this time! Awesome dinner, such a nice atmosphere!

Very friendly, warm and inviting restaurant that feels like home. Food is authentic and at par with what you would find in Greece. From seafood to souvlakis, everything s a 10/10. Never disappoints, excellent
We had read the reviews, and all were positive. BUT ITS ALL NOT TRUE. when we had arrived. It was not welcoming. When my wife asked the young lady at the counter, for a table .she replied to give her a minute. Then a man came up and looked at us. A mixed couple replied that there was no room. My wife is so disappointed ,because of what had happened to us. And she had her heart on trying out cristiane. So if you are in a mixed relationship, AVOID THIS PLACE.

Excellent traditional Greek food: the mousakka was the best we had in Montreal.
I did take out. The food was great but the portions of rice and potatoes were minimal. When youre paying $35 for a simple plate, you would expect a decent amount of food. Its really hard to justify the price, no matter how good the food was.

Everything is quite delicious and has an extra home made feel to it. Similar to your yaya making food at home for you to enjoy. Service is friendly and authentic. Go to dishes are the roast with the roasted potatoes and the moussaka. But honestly everything is good.

You can tell when a business genuinely cares. A family operated restaurant where everyone is super friendly and the food tastes really fresh. Portions are generous. Be sure to reserve as seating is limited. *Edit: They seem overwhelmed when they have bigger groups. Empty plates end up staying on the table for a while before being picked up. They run out of popular menu items like gyro chicken, gyro pork rather quickly, knowing there are groups/ & reservations coming for birthdays etc. The worst is that they take your order and then tell you there s none left. There s a difference between substantial food waste and preparing enough for clients that evening. You also can t order greek style potatoes instead of fries with your dish because they re only for hot plate orders too many rules.

Came here for dinner this evening and was not disappointed! We got a very welcoming and warm greeting upon entering. The fact that its a family-run business makes it so that you feel like you know everyone there. Very friendly service from all of the crew; we had a good time with them. Our waiter Sako made great recommendations and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything we had was clearly made with love. We will definitely be coming back!

Been a long time since Ive had restaurant food that tasted homemade. Delicious stuffed peppers, huge portion (I took one home), and the slice of spanikopita (entrée) was enough for 2 people. Great first experience. Recommended!

An old-fashioned restaurant but with charm, several choices of daily specials, the food is just ok. For the quality and the setting I find that the prices are expensive.
If we could give a higher rating we would! We were visiting Canada and were looking for a restaurant for a family celebration. Christinas Cuisine had an excellent rating so we made our reservation. We, along with our family, were quite impressed. Christinas exceeded our expectations on all fronts. The food, drinks and service were exceptional! Dora and Steve made excellent recommendations and the entire staff was extremely attentive. We were served authentic Greek food family style; octopus, calamari, psilokomeni, moussaka, pastitsio, lamb, chicken, rice etc. The portions were huge and delicious!! We even got to meet the chef and Christina herself! A great time was had by all and Christinas has acquired quite a few new customers / friends. I had a taste for mousaka...rode my bike to notre dame went inside and I was greeted by an old friend Dimitri with a big hug sat down to delicious Greek dish mousaka along with a fabulous cheese cake! Service was acceptional. Bike rack would come handy for bikers.

Best greek restaurant ever It has been years I am searching for a greek restaurant that does Stifado dish and I finally gound it at Chridtinas. Mrs Christina prepared for us her delocious Stifado dish and we ordered of course other delicious plates from the menu. Aside from the delicious food, we experienced the welcoming ambiance of the owners and staff and the wonderful mood of the place as if we were in Greece. You want to get the best greek food experience, you.know now where to go , highly recommended!!

I love Christina s. The food is excellent. I have never been to Greece but I get the feeling that this is what the food in Greece tastes like. Order anything can t go wrong. I have been 3 times and I intend on going a few times a year so long as Christina s is in operation.

Authentic family Greek restaurant
I came across Christina s Cuisine when googling Greek restaurants who provide catering. Reviews were all super positive so I felt comfortable asking them to cater Mothers Day for 24 people. Dora was awesome. She helped me select a menu that would make the vegetarians and meat eaters in my family happy. She also provided awesome advice on the amount of food we needed. The food was a hit. Everyone loved it. The amount we ordered was perfect too. Biggest hits were the veggie moussaka, stuffed peppers, Greek salad, dolmes, and the pastitsio. Highly recommend Christina s Cuisine and also Dora to guide you through all the decisions.

Went a few weeks ago, have been a few time, and will be returning. No fine dinning , small place little crowded, but you can have good authentic greek food.
This is a great restaurant with lots of atmosphere and very friendly staff. The stuffed cabbages and meatballs were delicious.

Do not judge a book by its cover. Great food, authentic Greek cooking. If you want to eat real Greek food this is the place. Its like having a Greek grandmother make all her favorite dishes for you really well. The service is extremely welcome and friendly, they will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about this place just really good food. I have been to Greece a few times, and I can say with confidence that the moussaka is the best if ever had. Parking: Very easy place to find parking, super convenient.

I heard so many good things about this restaurant. So I finally tried it out. People telling me its pricey but AMAZING. OK, YES... pricey it definitely is ! Service... wasnt impressed. Very small resto and when you go in... it looks like you are bothering them. First thing they ask you, if you have a reservation. Like there are 5 table in that place and you need to reserve before hand. As if you are going to a 5 star restaurant. But the food was just ok. WAY TOO MUCH SALT AND lemon. Everyone says it taste like authentic Greek food. They are wrong, its nothing special. So quality of food over price... the food I got for the price I paid, not sure how I feel about returning.

Food here is incredible. Menu changes often so you can go and always get something different. It s always packed so you have to make a reservation a few days in advance at least, and it will always be busy.

The staff here is so friendly and the food is delicious. We got the same waiter both times and he was hilarious. The Greek potatoes, feta balls, gyro, moussaka, iced coffee, everything is delicious. And they have Greek beer! Its a small place so make sure to reserve. Definitely come here!

Vegetarian options: Lentil soup, veggie pancake and sautéed vegetables, veggie moussaka, etc. Kid-friendliness: Relaxed and warm atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility of the restaurant and the toilet room without steps (on the ground level).
Wanted some great greek food and we decided to see if the hype about Christinas was real. By the end of our meal it was evident that this place deserves all the accolades it has received. Both the food and sevice was excellent. Theres nothing more to say that already hasnt been said. Its no wonder its always busy. Opa... Christinas.
Best authentic Greek cuisine, a must try
The food is decent enough if you can t make your own but they lack filotimo and don t appreciate their popularity and loyal customers. The daughter is rude and even when she makes the mistake instead of making it right to keep the customer satisfied, she gives you attitude! The apple didn t fall far from the tree as the mom/cook is not a sweet old lady who loves to cook for you but rather a nasty shrewd business person who just cares about her bottom line. Even if the food was to die for, the way they run their business doesn t make you feel valued and doesn t make you want to return. Their short sighted greediness won t serve them well in the long run.

We ordered takeout from Christina s and although we did not get served by a waiter, the service did not disappoint. We were immediately welcomed as soon as we walked through the door, this being our first time, we had quite a few questions about the menu and although they were very busy (Saturday night) they took the time to give us recommendations and answer our questions. We ordered the gemista, tzatziki, gigantes, Horta, eggplant and gyro plate. Everything was so delicious and fresh, it really felt like we were eating at yiayias house again. Would 100% recommend and go back! Thank you!
Great local greek cuisine
Visiting from Chicago for the weekend. We decided to try this place out since it s pretty popular in the Laval area. We thought the food was just ok and certainly the prices don t reflect on the portion sizes. $30 for calamari and a very small portion. Thank you but I think we will pass on this place on our next visit to Montreal.

Amazing Greek cuisine in Laval. Their roast pork melts in your mouth, and their moussaka is a family favourite. The lemon potatoes are so lemony ! The chicken gyro was moist and plentiful. The hot table has so many options to choose from (from stuffed veggies to lamb and fish). For dessert, we had their rice pudding, creme caramel, Greek yogurt, and ekmek kataifi. All were big portions and all went perfectly with a cup of coffee.
