Great experience. Busy night the parking lot was so full . But we walked in and were sat immediately. Or server Victoria was sweet and attentive. I was a bit hangry so i just ordered an app right away and she brought super quick to easy my ha hangryness. we order the app platter and the rapini. Great food. quick for a busy Saturday. but Ill rave about the service of Victoria all day . Parking: huge lot but it does get packed on weekends . arive before your reservation to insure your are not late.

I really enjoyed it, the dishes were delicious and presented (dont order too much because the dishes are X large , pleasant atmosphere, except that the music was too loud which made conversation difficult

The food here is so delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They play Greek music while eating Greek food. As someone whos greek herself, the food here is amazing and authentic. If youre looking to come here in a bigger group, Id recommend getting a reservation.

Im a regular here and actually came with my boyfriend today. Weve been coming since as long as I can remember, and the food and drinks are always great.

Everything was fabulous, the service, the food and the atmosphere, but the drinks and sangria were disappointing. Before Souvlakibar offered a unique sangria with a cherry taste, but now everything is bland

I ve been coming here for the last 6 years, but lately the quality of the food here has seriously diminished. I can no longer recommend ever eating here. We ordered five plates for a takeout dinner today, and we had many issues with the food we received. One person got the wrong plate of food. Unfortunate but it sometimes happens. Three of us got the loose meat pork, and the meat was very grey, tough, and tasteless. Absolutely no char on the meat. The tzatziki in one of our chicken souvlakis pita was sickenly sweet?! In other people s souvlaki this was not a problem. The rice was bland, and oily. The French fries was the typical frozen fries they serve in every restaurant. The lemon potatoes were decent, but needed more flavor. The pita bread was also tasteless. The salad was the only saving grace, the dressing was good and the veggies were ok. Overall, I m very dissatisfied and disappointed in the quality of the food. I ve gone here so many times in the past, and this decline is very sad.

Food quality out of 1,000!!!! Whenever we went to Centrópolis, the Souvlaki Bar didnt catch our attention and we ended up in another restaurant. Until one day we went and this was the only restaurant open at 11:00am. We decided to give it a try, and after that day, we never went back to another restaurant. This one became our favorite in Laval . Ps: My husband and I are super demanding!!!!!

The food looks good but I have to say that the tables were extremely sticky and unclean and the menu was extremely damp which was an extreme turn off. Really ruined the mood and thus decided to eat elsewhere.

Just sad, place can have alot of potential by location, and being in the heart of laval. Came in with my wife to an empty restaurant, ordered shovel with 3 meats , and Greek salad. Waitress: you have one job , to remember the order and serve with professionalism, 3 times i had to remind her what i had ordered and when she brought me the dish forgot the salad. But the main 0 star goes to the shovel , the meat , salty as if it was dipped in the salt container and served. I ask the waitress please can you take this away its awful she replies well it comes already packaged like that i was mortified so its not even fresh cut , as donar meat should be cut , it probably comes frozen and then warmed up . Too bad there is not a zero to put here because thats what this place deserves. Last , manager or owner comes and tells me ya sorry i through out the whole batch of meat cause it was really salty . I would be so ashamed , not even to excuse the bill for how disgusting the food was , he brings me more chicken, anyways we payed but take your money elsewhere . What is happening to the S ******* service . We pay so much and receive less than S***. Take your money and go somewhere else.

Great experience! I tried the other one in St. Hyacinthe and was impressed, so I had to drive to the one here in Laval.

Ordered take out, 2 chicken Gyros, rice and fries , Gyros were dry and had no taste, barely had red onions (maybe 2 or 3 VERY thin slices) besides that instead of having pepper pickle in the salad we only had the stem Good to check if there is a pickle hanging from the stem..lol Ridicules

Excellent food, one of the best tsaziki Ive eaten and the poutine is very good too. The service was however very slow and the hostess refused to give us a table at first and told us that we should go eat elsewhere because they are full, but there were no reservations and we saw free tables . We literally had to ask the girl to go clean one of those tables so we could take one. Laziness? Disinterest? I dont know what she was doing, but I was happy to see that our server was much more enthusiastic and helpful than the one greeting people.

When the restaurant does not have the first 4 wines on the wine list out of 8 products! And they are next to the SAQ Restauration! This shows a lack of interest in customers! We left for, next door, Les Enfants Terribles! 1000 x better! Welcome, Service, wine, kindness of the staff! Souvlaki Bar! Not strong!

Restaurant designed to accommodate large groups. When reserved, the second floor/balcony allows group participants to stand, interact, move around and subsequently eat a delicious meal at the table. The employees are courteous, attentive to customer requests and the service is fast. They accept that a cake from outside the restaurant be brought on site. The restaurant is easy to access. The ambiance of the restaurant is good for conversations without having to raise your voice. A good restaurant to enjoy a good meal in good company. Parking: Mega center with ample parking

Very bad experience using DoorDash I paid over 40$ for a salad and feta. Even if I ask for a single plain pita, I didn t receive any. Comes with tiny cup of dressing Did not read special request, they don t bother. So, I encourage you to do the same and order from somewhere else where customer service is priority !!

Was not impressed! We got our main order before our starters . When we got our beer, one beer wasn t cold at all, had to ask to replace it. I ordered a chicken Gyro and it was chicken cubes in my pita and because we got our main course first and starters after it got cold sitting on the table while we finished our starter. For the exception of the calamari I ate, everything else was average. For 150$ I would have expected something better.

Went to this place around 3-4 times in the last 2 months just to find that the manager is always screaming at the staff, I like the food, I like the service the staff provides but the manager makes the ambience trash.

Food was nice a modern taste of Greek food. Some sauces was sweet not something I associate with Mediterranean Greek food.

Tried this place twice so far, love the food, delicious, the portions are good compared to the price. The beef is a little different for my taste. Only thing I didnt like was the service, we ordered appetizers and main dishes and they got everything at once, which resulted in some food waste.

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over five years, but my recent experience was utterly disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet we were left without menus for over five minutes. When I politely asked the manager why we had not received any service, his response was shockingly aggressive. He accused me of acting like an animal simply for inquiring about the delay. This level of rudeness and unprofessionalism from both the waiter and the manager is unacceptable. This experience has completely tarnished the reputation of a place we used to enjoy. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The manager (Billy) is rude and disrespectful. Waited an hour for a table in the terrasse and later on when we got sat we asked if we could add just one extra chair he started yelling and saying no you didn t tell us, you need to go inside and eat if u want a table for you. We understand the arrangement of the place but he didn t need to yell and be impolite. Never coming again because of him and we will tell all of our friends about his horrible service.

First time trying out Souvlaki Bar and I was really not disappointed by the quality for the price. Food is tasty and portion are generous, will definitely order again!

This place has gone downhill sadly. Food is no longer fresh and tasty. Our chicken was undercooked and bland, the rice were soggy and seemed not fresh. Portion sizes have also gone down. Will no longer come here which is sad since we really enjoyed the food.

Chicken was quite dry. Rice was bland and if you wanna share a plate they charge extra, but its not extra for more food. Its just an extra charge. And there was more staff than clients. For the price its not worth to go. Go to marathon or arahova instead.

Super good service from the employees. The hostesses at the entrance were smiling and welcomed us. The waitress was fast and even though there were several of us, the order was taken quickly. The food arrived just as quickly. We had the Hercules massacre and a chicken gyro bowl. The Hercules massacre consisted of fried potatoes, tatziki sauce and feta. It was good, but gradually it started to get heavy. Plus, Ive tasted better tatziki sauces than this one. As for the chicken gyro bowl, it was super good. The portions were generous and worth the price. So I give it a 4 star, because the tatziki sauce wasnt very good and you could taste the garlic too much. Some guests have complained of stomach aches and think its because of the sauce.

We have just finished our meal I can say it is our worst meal, the pita is dry dry dry, 3 pieces of squid in the pita , the meat is cold, we havent finished it, its not edible. The fries are a new recipe called frozen fries and so on Dont go there

I d have have gave them 5 starts but unfortunately the service was not that good. I ordered around 3:40pm the restaurant was completely empty of customers. It took them a while to do the dishes although all the order was 2 main dishes. After the chef finished the food I wanted for maybe 5 minutes just for the waiter to pick it up from the kitchen to bring it to me. I don t see any reason to pay 15% tips on that day. I m definitely coming back because I love their food but I hope they train their staff to focus with the customer and bring the food directly when it s ready because it s not fun eating the food cold. Again there was no any customers and as i can see probably it was the time to change the staff shift but that is not my problem as a customer.

We came in a group of 8 and even though the restaurant was full on a Saturday night our waiter took his time to thoroughly explain the menu to us with a smile too! Efficient and friendly service was the highlight of our evening. Drinks were excellent and well-priced. The half chicken plate and chicken breast plate were fresh and delicious, but my wife found the chicken gyro platter to be a little dry and cold. The french fries might have been the best I have ever eaten, but the rice was a little bit hard and bland and the greek potatoes a little mushy and bland. Salad was great though with a creamy dressing, my only recommendation would be to not give large chunks of tomatoes but instead smaller pieces. We had a couple of vegetarians with us and there were good options for them as well. Platter sizes were very generous for the price they are asking. Music and design of interior were fun and gave the place a great vibe! We will definitely be coming back again!

Great kids menu. And great tasting food. Had the gyro bowl and some of my daughters chicken brochette and fries/rice. Great tasting and juicy chicken compared to most other places. The gyro bowl I think is my new option. I usually get the fish but now I m switching! Side note to waiter Ricky who was such a sweet guy! He was so kind and patient as a waiter with our table of 10 that included 5 kids including my 2 yr old. He even let my daughter help him send the order to the kitchen and gave her $5. You don t see kindness like that anymore and as much as we tried to give it back to him, he wanted her to have it. I ll definitely spend it on something memorable for her from Uncle Ricky. It really was nice to see how humble and kind he was

The service was very warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. The portion is quite big, so even tho its a bit expensive, you get plenty of food. The only thing that bothered me was the volume of the music. We went around noon, and we had troubles hearing each other. However, it might simply be a preference of mind, either way I still highly recommend!

Disaster of a restaurant: - Small portions - If you know your Greek food, you wont like theirs - Very uncomfortable chairs that are all falling apart. Very dangerous too! The back of my chair was cracked, exposing a sharp strip of wood that could have injured me. The same night, the person behind me fell on me when his chair just came apart. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

I am a Greek Food lover in general, my first visit to this restaurant with my wife, the food was good . However, I ordered a platter of Greek salad with an extra of chicken. I noticed that there was no dressing in the salad, and the extra chicken bites were uneatable ! The waiter suggested to replace it with a dessert which we agreed. In general its a nice place with reasonable prices and quantities..

Food is good. What would be even better is bread. But then again we live in an economy of greed. Everything is expensive I get it. Went on a Saturday night with a large group of people. Service was good and fast. They have blue slush that kids like. You will also get reminders of this slush the next day. I wonder if the slush maker is aware of this non edible blue dye!. Magically turns green the next day!. just saying. Overall a good place to eat.

Super nice restaurant, very large, and well decorated. I love their vintage style photo frames that harmonize the places. As soon as we enter the restaurant we are greeted by a superb, slightly perfumed smell, despite the fact that we are in a restaurant/bar. As for the service, it was perfect, the hostess on site served us very well (Smiling and responded well to our expectations). The meal ordered on site was gigantic (Large portion) My plate of souvlaki was not bad..the fries were very crispy, seasoned and very hot, delicious salad., pork souvlaki really good., just maybe more seasoning in the rice .. And my friends plate of pita was excellent...For our squid starter, there could be a little more seasoning in the breading, but hey, the 2 sauces that accompany it give them a good taste. OVERALL WE really enjoyed our meal there, we will return there without a doubt. Price$$$ quite affordable given the gigantic portions served.

My wife and I wanted to try Souvlaki Bar since we were in the area. We had ordered 2 porc pita plates with fries and salad, a kompanisti, extra fry and extra wrap. Usually I check the bags incase stuff was missing but since we were out all day and in a rush to get home I didnt. Turns out we didnt get our salads. It was fries and rice. That was a nice little let down. Then we are looking for the extra fry...that was forgotten also. I mean how hard is it to make sure my 72$ worth of food is in the bag. We started eating it at home and both looked at each other because the food was nasty. The fries were bland, the rice had no flavor at all it didnt even taste of anything. Then we tried the kompanisti...inedible. It was one of the saltiest things I have ever tried to eat in my life. We had to throw it out. The pitas were like drywall and crumbled in our hands. Honestly the pita wraps at Belle Province have more authenticity than this place. We were both nauseous all night. I had to throw everything that was left over. Its the next day and Im still burping up that nasty food food and Im still nauseous. Never again! I get food prices are ridiculous right now but 72$ for that is a joke but I did learn my lesson. Try it out if you want just dont expect anything crazy good.
