Very good meal. There were 9 of us and everyone enjoyed it. The service was courteous and efficient. I recommend this restaurant.

I ordered for the very first time today. I had the Chicken Souvlaki plate with fries, Greek potatoes, and a large everything salad. Absolutely delicious!! I will be ordering again soon for sure! EDIT: Ordered again today 10/15/24. AMAZING. Chicken Souvlaki is big, juicy and soooo tasty. The fries are also so good, and perfectly seasoned, I dont even eat them with ketchup and dont even need to add any salt. Salad and the greek potatoes also delicious, so far Ive tried the Everything salad and House salad and both are great. This place is amazing. Give them a try, you wont regret it!

Was their last Saturday we took the first seatingour order started with calamari excellent,spanakopita great,to small ,felt we were rushed,got up went to the cash asked the waiter to slow down the order ,told me its out already and I had ordered the land chops full of nerve ,my wife the chicken breast very dry ,not a place to have a quiet evening

Since I discovered Tripolis last month, Ive been 4 times. Food and service are excellent. Yael served me last time and shes super nice and efficient. Food is great. Best greek in Montréal area. Going again tonight.

Generous portions. Calamari was alright and the marinara sauce was tastier than most but also very gelatinous instead of saucy. Lamb chops werent bad. Rice was flavourful. House salad was just fine, although I wish the app would tell you what the difference was between that and a green salad for example. Galaktobouriko was typical.

I came here with 4 adults and a 9 year old daughter, all of the food was excellent all the meat was juicy and flavourful. The service was great ,they weren t trying to push you out the door for the next seating which was refreshing. We had a very enjoyable experience there and highly recommend it. The food is premium quality. Any dish on the menu. Impeccable service. The staff literally looks happy to be working here ! The general ambiance is very nice. It is quite animated, and yet, not noisy. Warm and relaxed. Definitely family-oriented. From the outside, one cannot imagine how spacious the place is, and how good, wholesome and enjoyable everything is, inside.

So it all started with a craving for calamaris and we found this spot on the internet and we went for it. First time did not deceive, and will certainly not be our last time. Its a cute Greek vybe, typical traditional menu, portion were big, service was really friendly and most importantly the food was amazing. A must try, i highly recommend. Thank you for the Tripolis team for a nice dinner.

Just delicious went for the first time . We were 4 people we ordered: lentil soup, a large tzatziki, and small skordalia, a grilled chicken breast, salmon, chicken&pork souvlaki stick, and 6 lamb chops each meal came with a salad, some got grilled veggies, some got fries we even had desert the skor, galaktabourikos, and loukomades From start to finish we all loved everything! Can t wait to go back

My wife and I were there this past Tuesday for her birthday. The food was very good. Staff was friendly. I recommend this restaurant highly. Parking: There are a good number, but they fill up fast.

Excellent. We ordered an appetizer of scordalia it was too garlicky for our liking. I would not recommend it. We then had one pork stick, accompanied by a greek salad, for an extra $1.50, and fries. Delicious. A whole chicken breast, with a greek salad and rice was also ordered. The breast was boneless, skinless and juicy. Delicious. Because it was a Tuesday night it was quiet but reservations on the weekend are a must. Enjoy. We have now been back several times and this place is definitely our go to Greek restaurant.

Best Greek restaurant in Laval. The best service and the most delicious food I have ever tasted. I would love to shout out MaryEllen. She is very family friendly, and has a great sense of humour. Je suis allée sur la recommandation dun ami grec pour la fête de mon conjoint, nous avons été très déçu, on nous a servi un spanakopita réchauffer au micro ondes ,le poulet grec était trop cuit et sec, très cher 150$ + taxes pour 2 personnes a ce prix on mange 4/personnes au MARVENS qui est selon mon moi est un excellent restaurant grec.

Having been a loyal customer for over 20 years and also in the restaurant business it saddens me to say. Tripoli no longer cares about there customers closing at will anytime they feel like when on a Thursday night your hours say till 10 pm and I walk in at 9:20 for even a take out not even a sit down and told the restaurant is closed with over 18 people sitting inside is so disrespectful. If you wanna go home early change your hours!!!! Horrible and unacceptable

Good Greek food

Food is good got the lamb chops. The shrimps are tasteless. Definetly a place to eat meat. As soon as you get inside you get the looks from all the restaurant kind of strange. We waited for a long time before being able to order. Good place to eat greek food portions are good too and normal prices. Parking is no great and make sure to havr reservation.

If you are a fan of greek food, its one of the nicest smallest, causiest, homy restaurants Ive ever been in Montréal or Laval

Second time there, with friends this time but the night was off. Chicken souvlaki a little dry, rice and potatoes under seasoned. First cod plate was raw. Half chicken ok. Calamari was good. Octopus was somewhat tough.

Recommended by a colleague. My boyfriend loved the tasty chicken skewers we ate as much as I did. The salad served with the plate was excellent, a very generous portion. Friendly service which made the experience very pleasant. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive either, but good price for what was offered. Well go back for fish next time.

Great place for greek food. I used to go often but now that I go to greece alot I have not been in a while.

Sat down at this place yesterday to have a quick meal with my wife. We were both not that hungry so we decided to order the ribsteak with Rapini (a $4.50 option) instead of greek salad (which is probably the best greek salad in town) and greek oven cooked potatoes. I have to say for the price there is nothing that comes close to this ribsteak in Montreal and I am comparing it to The Keg, Boucher a la table, Moishes, and even 40westt - all of them much more expensive when you add the side dishes. The only other better value than this is buying ribsteaks at Costco, spicing them with Montreal steak spice and cooking them on the barbecue. Our total tab including a large bottle of sparkling water came out to $62 with tax!!!! At that rate I opted to give our waiter a 20% tip.

I have known of this establishment for a long while and I have lost touch with it since it relocated in Laval. I will admit I am a connoisseur of Greek food and this establishment has clearly satisfied my palate. The service was impeccable as was the atmosphere.

Great food and service ! We went with friends for late lunch last Sunday, and all of us had the feeling we were eating in a Greek taverna somewhere in Athens, so good and authentic was the food !!

Well my friends I had stopped going there because of bad service, BUT...Now for some reason all new people working their end it was amazing from beginning to the End.....

The food was amazing, and everything we ordered was delicious, I never had such delicious calamari they melted in your mouth you didnt even need to eat it with a sauce that speaks volumes, the chicken stick was cooked to perfection it was crispy on the outside and super tender on the inside. The fried vegetables and tzatziki were perfect there wasnt too much batter on it and the seasoning was just right. The portions are very generous. We had plenty to take home. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is excellent!!

After working late yesterday, we decided to try Tripoli on a week night. I don t remember the food ever being so good! We ordered the cold Pikilia and it was plentiful. Everything on the plate was delicious from the Kopanisti, Tzantziki, to the beets, and herring. I must have eaten 3 slices of bread with it. We then shared a 2 stick souvlaki plate (one chicken and one pork) with the flat potatoes, and the everything salad. Everything was tasty, cooked to perfection, and I appreciate they did not use a lot of salt. The superior ingredients spoke for themselves , we took leftovers and today they are just as good. The price was also reasonable. Great to see new ownership doing a great job! Parking: On a weekend there are less spaces but I ve never had a issue finding parking.

If you are looking for volume and lower price point you can t go wrong. However don t expect a Milos type food experience. Great for hungry larger groups, portions are very generous.

A lil rustic Greek restaurant with food thatll surprise you! The brochettes were fork tender, the salads were amazing! The lamb chops! The lamb chops man! Dont go crazy ordering, youll end up taking it home, oh wait thats a bonus to have it again at home, just shows you how well the portions are.

Excellent restaurant. I highly recommend it. The service is more than excellent. There were three of us, we ordered the young Quebec lamb dish with a village salad, a dish of fried squid, dolmadakia, a Fakes soup and a Greek chicken soup. As soon as we sat down at the table, they served us toast, accompanied by a dish of olive oil with balsamic. A+++ for service. They returned several times to give back to us. The fried squid dish is really big and delicious. This restaurant is very very generous. Arriving at the lamb chops, a REAL delight!!! In short, this restaurant is a must in Laval.

Will be going back for sure! Everything was so tasty and portions were huge. The chicken soup avgolemono and the pork souvlaki were delicious! The service was excellent and the premises really clean. Loved it!

Let me tell you something, it was SO GOOD, its making me hungry again. The calmars was the best I ever had, so tasty omg. The Tzaziki was really thick n fresh n the feta too. We had the meat platter and when I tell you EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS??? My fav meat was the lamb, incredible. You need to make a reservation because theres quite a lot of people. As for the service, we had the blonde madame waitress and it wasnt nice, quite rude and didnt came to ask us if we need anything or to full or cup of water or nothing. I will come back for the food for sure but obviously with an other waitress to assist us to be able to fully like the experience there. Great food, I recommend!!!!

The reason I gave 5stars was, for the service!!! The waitress who served me and my table of 10, was great!!!! I didn t get her name. She said she was 1/2 Greek and 1/2 Portico. Don t get me wrong, the food was amazing!!!! Thank you miss waitress!!!!!!!

Had my 60th birthday party with family and friends on December 1 and the service and food were outstanding. Everything from the appetizer s to the main meals were prepared to perfection. The best village salad in the city. Thanks for a great evening.

First time visiting this restaurant but I gotta say it was stunning. Food was beyond delicious, service was impeccable and atmosphere made us feel literally at home. Vegetarian options: There offer delicious salads and vegetarian appetizers. Kid-friendliness: I went there with my two kids, a seven years old and a 1 year old. And we werent the only ones with kids. Staff are very friendly with kids.

Ive been to a few Greek places within Laval and some in the west island and old Port. I have never written a review for any of them. So I am unsure if they take reservations it was a last minute choice and Im glad it was. They had a table for us but the place QUICKLY filled up. The service was great. I pretty much went with all the waiters recommendations. And everything was delicious. What my friends got they loved their dishes too. Either it was the owner or chef or both that came out and he asked us if we enjoyed what we had. I loved that! When we were leaving so many of the people working there noticed and said bye thank you for coming. It was a really warm welcoming place. I usually share my thoughts on washroom but I didnt use them but regardless I loved loved loved this place. I love trying new places but I would definitely come back here! Parking: Be prepared to look for parking in the street
