Delicious, very authentic and good veggie and vegan options! I had the chana masala and veggie byriani another day, it made me want to come back! In the photos: Cauliflower gobi (seems to come with raita - white sauce which appears to have dairy) Vegetable byriani (the best I have tasted) Sambar (very comforting and delicious) We are served in English, but I can speak to them in French and understand well. To see if they are learning the language :)

To answer your below question-I made the mistake of ordering takeout without first trying the food. Unfortunately, the meal was very disappointing. The Chana Bhatura , shrimp curry and samosa chaat lacked flavour, and the onion served with the Chana Bhatura was completely rotten. Its baffling why such poor-quality ingredients would be served. I immediately regretted my decision to order takeout and even asked the waitress if it would be possible to cancel my order. She informed me that it couldnt be done as it had already been prepared. In the end, I ended up not eating the food any of the packed food, wasting $155. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience.

Cuisine Arya is an excellent restaurant. They are truly outstanding, and they really do bring quality in their food. Ive eaten at many South Indian restaurants in mtl and laval, and I can say that this is the only restaurant that actually represents it correctly. From the parotta being soft and tasty to the curry being spicy and tender, no other restaurant can compete. Especially now a days, I find a lot of restaurant just using the genre of indian food but only show case the basic stuff, these guys go out of their way to actually put the local dishes on the map. 99% of South Indian restaurants here dont even know the difference between a parotta and Roti. At last, I am happy that I am not eating at another generic flavorless indian restaurant and that I do not need to drive to Toronto to get actual Tamil food. Huge success for these guys

Its a complete immersion in authentic Indian cuisine! Tasty and so inexpensive, I feel like Im tasting the essence of culture . We wanted to give our son an experience of Indian cuisine. He was not disappointed. I am convinced that he will ask us to come back to it. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. It has lots of different dishes to try!

We had chance to visit this place. Ordered Chenna Batura and Chicken 65 Biryani. I never seen anyone giving only one batura for order that was really bad and one more thing you batura is not very big. Its normal size which you get in every other restaurants. Then i have to make one more order of chenna batura again and the chicken was so dried couldnt at all. Seems like its old one which they heated up in the microwave and the quantity of biryani was very small not even enough for one person. You cant cheat a COOK :) When i compare the food with the price doesnt match at all. I have no complains for their hospitality. One of the expensive Indian or south Indian restaurant in Montreal & Laval area. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. Dude no one is showcasing here something. The word you using SHOWCASING is really bad. Well you should have seen my plate i left dried and hard chicken 65 pieces which shows clearly whether i liked the food or not. The chicken was not cooked infront of us why are you lying dude. Coming back to quantity i didnt even touched the chicken curry well i eat the briyani and batura ....So how do you think i will be finishing all. One more thing please do some research in the market almost all rest in Montreal survive two baturas ok. Coming back to your point i never said the food is GOOD i just said Ok because now the way rudely your replying back to my review it shows good i didnt said that moment anything bad about food otherwise you would be ARGUING which is totally baseless. I had a great experience! The service was friendly and gave great recommendations. I went with the lamb, which was seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of pepper delicious! The paneer cheese and onions were also amazing, definitely a highlight. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is fantastic! You dont need to go to Montreal anymore for Indian restaurants. This place serves authentic Indian food. Since it was Diwali they had a special plate. It included a mix of multiple items from the menu. Every single item was phenomenal and packed with so much flavor! I also had the mango lassi and tried all their desserts. They were also incredibly delicious. The service was fast and effective. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I will certainly come back to try out more items. I definitely recommend you to try this place.

The majority of the food we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and friendly. Most unfortunately, despite having 3 conversations with 2 different employees about my allergies, and after being reasured multiple times that it would not be an issue, I had an allergic reaction. This is a big deal-breaker for me as I do not take my health and well-being lightly. Please do whatever it takes to ensure this situation does not happen again with another one of your customers. Another deal-breaker for me : aucun employé na été en mesure de madresser un seul mot en français. Wow! What a great discovery! We are not big connoisseurs of Indian cuisine, so we asked the owner who was at the counter to guide us a little. He offered us two classics, butter chicken and lamb curry accompanied by rice and naan bread. He also explained to us what a dosa is (rice pancake served with 4 typical sauces) Everything was absolutely delicious! Lots of flavors, clearly the best butter chicken and curry Ive eaten. The dosa is also very good and we will definitely have it again. The staff is very kind and smiling. The place is very clean. It will become a favorite place for us. Small downside: very difficult to understand each other in French.

Excellent Indian cuisine. Great specialist in dosas, a type of very thin and crispy pancake stuffed in more than 50 different ways with or without meat accompanied by 4 very tasty sauces. The service is very friendly and simple, however the level of French is minimal, which is my only downside. Impeccably clean! Neon lighting a little aggressive, dont go there for the Indian atmosphere but at least you can see the chef making his naan breads! Vegetarian options: The majority of dishes are vegetarian

Heavenly food! Carving of breads, The staff suggested Chicken Kulcha! OMG! Mouthwatering taste. Such a soft bread I ever had. And of course their Dosa! No words to say. My kid loves it, tasty, crispy and tomato chutney is ultimate.

What a great discovery of an Indian restaurant in this area of Laval! Nothing to envy of the dishes in reputable Indian restaurants in Montreal, the prices are very reasonable, the portions are adequate, the sauces/accompaniments demonstrate an attention to detail that I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend this obviously family restaurant. The service is super courteous, the servers seem to be English-speaking Indians but they make an effort for our order in semi-bilingual haha. I will definitely go back to try the other dosa offerings. The butter chicken is excellent, just spicy enough, not too sweet as some do to please a certain clientele. The yogurt accompanying the rice is refreshing. The naan was freshly cooked, a favorite.

Finally a dosa place with an ambiance. The food was great. We enjoyed the masala dosa and idli vada. The owner was very nice and open regarding the halal certification and showed us everything we asked in order to verify halal. Definitely will be coming back with our families

Took Butter Chicken with rice and naan. Got regular naan by accident (ordered garlic) but it was soft and delicious!!! Butter chicken was not as sweet as I like it but delicious none the less. The portions are big and I jad enough for two meals. Service was amazing. The interior is really clean, well-lit and the seating is comfortable. Will definitely order here again!
