Weekday restaurant no Saturday evenings.

We had our SOMA Christmas dinner at Gator Matto in Boisbriand on Saturday November 30th. What good service. The food was delicious the exceptional service our server Michael was fast attentive alert he thought of everything There were more than 20 of us we ate hot and everyone was satisfied. We werent the only group. Thank you again and congratulations Michael our super server who deserves

Amazing experience! We had heard so much about this place but never had a chance to go. I can honestly say its one of the best if not the best restaurant in Laval! We were a group of 6 so we decided to share the octopus, endive salad, the brussel sprouts chefs special and the lamb chops as appatizers! Every single bite was to die for! I had the Filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection and the mash potatoes with the smoked mozzarella was just heavenly! Service was spot on! The waitress was very attentive and took good care of us! I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend if youre in the Laval area! Parking: They have free parking for their guests and if the parking is full theres always the metro parking lot for free.

A nice decor with a good atmosphere but in terms of cuisine it wasnt crazy. I had their bucatini carbonara, too little guanciale, pasta, cream, everything in fact. Understand that they are not really generous with their plates. Saying that its good, but not to the point of taking a detour to get there. The big disappointment is with the Tiramisu. We quickly understand that it is an industrial tiramisu. Obviously sold twice as much as the little local bar, but its still the same Tiramisu, not good at all.

I found it expensive for what it was, but at least it was good, without being excellent. On the other hand, it was in terms of the service that I was disappointed. There was a mistake in my order, it happens, but the waitress didnt apologize for the mistake. By the time I got my plate, the people I was with had almost finished theirs. The waitress did not come to us during the meal to ask if everything was to our liking or to refill our water glasses. It took a very long time to get the bill and when we left, we didnt even get a thank you, have a good evening . Very very ordinary service.

We went to this restaurant on a Thursday with friends, we ate very well. There were oysters for $1, a pasta dish and delicious Brussels sprouts! The atmosphere of the restaurant which was sparkling and the music was not for me.

Went there for a table of 2 it took a while for the food to arrive and the food was very mid you could get the same tasting pizza at papa s john. I never leave review but i was very disappointing. Also the drinks were too sweet couldn t taste the wine in the sangria. Would recommend going to Sergiolino and Rosso Cielo more or even Labelle et La Boeuf fir their price range and the quality of the food

My husband and I came for our anniversary and we really loved it, from the service to the food everything was excellent, the place is very beautiful and the staff is very kind and attentive, Thomas was excellent and Ara was very cordial with us. We tried the fries with parmesan cheese as a starter (the portion surprised us, much bigger than we imagined and they were delicious), for the main course we ordered the spaghetti with lobster and wow it was so good, the portion was again very generous and for dessert we had brownie a la moda it was a gift from the owner for our anniversary (that made us feel soo special) we will definitely come back many more times! Parking: Parking is free, covered and super accessible.

Well, the food is simple, but very good. However, the quantities are small, we remain hungry. In addition, the menus are not very varied, a few more choices would be nice. The dining room is too dark, we are completely in the dark. But the service is correct, it remains professional despite that. This restaurant has work to do. P.S.: The waitress I had forgot an item in my order. For a restaurant that charges a lot, this is disappointing. $55 for pasta and a drink is very expensive. I hope to open the eyes of the owner to change things a little. However, this restaurant is worth trying if you can afford it, of course.

This was my second dining experience at this restaurant. The first time, there werent many people; we ordered several entrées including pasta, and the waitress recommended the special lobster tail, which unfortunately turned out dry. The pesto pasta was just alright. The main issue was the 45-minute wait for a single pasta dish on a day that wasn t busy. Customers who arrived after us received their meals earlier, yet no staff apologized for the delay, and our table was not cleared promptly. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I visited a second time, but the experience was similar over an hour wait for pasta while newer customers were served before us. The manager did offer a complimentary dessert to make up for it, but the overall management of food timing and service was lacking. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, but the wait times are not worth it. I wonder how they manage reservations and walk-ins simultaneously.

To start off a little positive - their pizza was really good and just the right level of crispiness. Awesome French fries too! However, we found the calamari was extremely salty and very dried out. That being said, I can t give this place more than 3 stars. For starters, we were a large group of 8 that pretty much ordered right away and it took over two hours to get our food (no exaggeration). Secondly, I am all for some music to add some ambiance, however, the music was so incredibly loud we couldn t hear anything. My ears were actually ringing by the time we left the restaurant. There s a difference between mood music & concert music. We had to practically yell at the waitress to place our order. Also, our table seemed to be completely forgotten (and we were in the dark) about. To get our water glasses refilled was non existent. I m disappointed because I really wanted to love this place! The decor is super nice and the food wasn t bad at all but definitely needs to improve their service & overall ambiance (music, lighting etc..).

Super nice experience. First of all the place is very beautiful and sophisticated. There are plenty of spaces and an outdoor terrace. The service is courteous but somewhat slow. On the other hand, they were aware of this problem and apologized for it. The dishes are very well presented and out of the ordinary. The 50-layer lasagna or the cacio e pepe cauliflower, for example, are among the dishes full of originality. The quality is there and the price is still very reasonable. Even the Cesar salad is excellent, we even thought about ordering a second one. What we did with the cauliflower as a starter. It was really a favorite, I highly recommend it. The pesto and burrata pasta...wow. Like in Italy, yes I said it. Creamy, tasty and generous. An excellent choice, perhaps even the best pasta dish in the place. As for pizza, they are all excellent.... I couldnt say which one is the best. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised but when you think about it, the Italian food in the Montreal region is really very good and has nothing to be ashamed of in front of what is done in Italy except for what has to do with the freshness of certain ingredients of course. Good value for money, its a must. Enjoy your food !

Here is my review about this place. Its similar to the one in Faubourg Boisbriands, but I would say its bigger. 1. Decoration 10/10 Very nicely, decorated compared to the other restaurant. Its wide and has a banquet. It has plants mirrors. 2. Ambiance 10/10 I was surprised how good the ambiance was very good.Music.Very good people.Everybody was having a good time. 3. Service 10/10 The service there was impeccable. Im not gonna lie. Each of them knew their menu. always suggest something that you would like. 4. Food 10/10 The food was excellent, very tasty with a lot of suggestions if you are a group. So that way, you dont need to pay for everything. If you want, you can divide your friends from meat lobster tails. You have the choice. 5. Cleanest 9/10 The bathroom was very clean. Smelled good. What was only missing some hand paper. Absolutely loved this restaurant! We started off with drinks : the lychee martini, Classico caesar, blood orange mule and the paloma. All were received very well but the paloma was stronger than all the rest. I then got my appetizer, fried calamari and I loved it! Perfect crisp. For our mains we got the rigatoni pasta, 50 layer lasagna, seafood linguini and the margherita pizza. The two girls who got the lasagna said it was just average. The pizza and rigatoni were amazing though. I had gotten the seafood linguini and it was also average to me. I loved the shrimp and calamari in it though. Our waitress was super sweet and the service was good. The inside of the restaurant really makes it what it is. Just beautiful!! We had a concert at Place Bell the same night, and the restaurant was right next to the venue, so it was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

Excellent sangria, burrata and pistachio pizza wow favorite, the parmesan and garlic fries I wouldnt take them again. At $14, what a disappointment to receive frozen fries....and the taste of garlic and spices is not very present :/ Up-to-date decor, bright, feminine. I would go back!

The service was great, the food came quickly, and everything was delicious. I appreciated that they were well-equipped with a large team to serve our group. The staff managed everything with ease. The guests loved the restaurants decor. The floral wallpaper made for a great background for pictures. Couldnt have asked for a better experience, everything went so smoothly. Surprise invitation from our couple of friends! Nice surprise and great discovery! The atmosphere on Saturday evening was incredible! Amélie, our waitress, treated us like royalty! Beautiful smile, friendly and efficient, she made sure to give us a great experience! We had a pitcher of sangria, FOLLOW THE PINK, with watermelon to start our evening...refreshing and delicious! We shared two starters, the CAULIFLOWER CACIO E PEPE (after that you will love this vegetable!) and CALAMAR FRITTI (tender and tasty). Main meal, 50-LAYER LASAGNA, RIGATONI WITH VODKA ROSÉE and special menu, GRILLED SALMON WITH BÉARNAISE SAUCE. Everything was hot and delicious. Shawn, the owner kindly offered us a melon shooter, delicious! We wanted to skip dessert but... We were tempted by the MI-CUIT AU CHOCOLAT, wow! And why not a Hot Shot shooter! The decor is magnificent, the music is not too loud, the terrace is beautiful and the staff is friendly... Everything you need to have a good time! Oh! The pasta was average, but expected more from italian restaurant. The Lamb on the other hand was not tasty, almost grey and the sauce was too acidic(58$) what a disappointment! Also want to mention the small portions and be prepared to pay 10-20$ for parking since there is none in front of the restaurant. Overall it s a fancy cute place but definitely don t go for the food nor good service.

The food was tasty and their alcoholic beverage (sangria) was a treat. Our waitress was friendly enough but service could have been more attentive. The restaurant itself is nice with its decor but it is way too dark! I had to bring the menu extremely close to my face to read it. Also, the music was obnoxiously loud as there was a DJ. We could not converse even with the person sitting next to us. We felt like we were in a nightclub. We saw waitresses taking shots with the patrons as well. Not very professional. I wouldn t recommend coming here as a family or with kids.

This place is just short of being a strip club. The waitresses need a bit more clothing. Food is ok, menu is limited, overall not bad.
