1st visit I loved it & what can I say about the delicious mussels & fries.. The waitresses #1 thank you for this beautiful evening & meal...

They say free for children and here we are and its been over a year since that changed and their site still says its free!!! It s surprising to me that they aren t being sued for false advertising!

Your pasta with rosée sauce is the best I have eaten in my life! I had never found a restaurant that served this pasta and it was so tasty! In the future, I will go to you! The right portion, the pasta al dente to perfection, the affordable price compared to the others, nothing to complain about, it was delicious!

What a good idea to have a choice of pasta at lunchtime at a reasonable price as well as the extras because on the menu its a bit expensive! The cooking of the pasta was perfect and the tomato sauce excellent. The desserts are correct for the price, the only downside is the level of service, the waiter never came to ask us if everything was to our taste, no smiles, too bad ! I would say that this is really the only shortcoming, and I would say to this young man that simply saying THANK YOU for the 15% tip would have been appreciated, it is a MINIMUM of good manners.

Very good service, the seafood pasta was delicious. A good portion with lots of seafood. Bread is included with all meals, you just have to ask for it. This is a good initiative to avoid waste.

The food was excellent. On the other hand, the service leaves something to be desired! The waitress took our order and never came back afterward. We waited more than 45 minutes before she came back to see us for desserts. Really poor service.

Je nai jamais vu un menu aussi étoffé pour les végétariens et les sans gluten. Cest définitivement une place à considérer pour un repas de groupe avec beaucoup de restrictions alimentaires. De plus cétait très bon et à des prix honnêtes. Les quantités étaient correctes, jai déjà eu des assiettes de pâtes plus fourni... Mais un super resto que je recommande.

Great dining experience.

Food taste good. Service is horrible. Server asked if we wanted bread, we said yes but never brought it. Another server asked if we wanted parmesan on our pasta, we said yes, they never brought it. They gave us a bottle of room temperature water. The server walked around but never came to see us after initially taking our order. I still gave 15% tip on a 100$ bill only to have the server make a ugly face when he didn t even provide any service. I regret even giving a tip.

We were a large group for dinner, it took 1h30 before we could order 40 minutes later we hadn t eaten yet

I personally have been Celiac for 6 months and I had not eaten in such a reassuring environment. A big thank you to Allan and Mathilde and all the staff for everything. From the reception to the bill I was taken care of. The food is really excellent and the staff once again attentive to Celiacs AND people with allergies. They are trained and competent. I will Ottavio you without hesitation. I will be back soon !!! When will there be an Ottavio in the Quebec region?

Ordered a Margherita pizza on UberEats. This is what got delivered. Ive had my fair share of margherita pizzas, but nothing has been as terrible as this. Theres virtually no cheese whatsoever. Its stale and hard. Definitely would never eat at this place.

Lunch for a small group. I had an excellent oriental salad with shrimp. We shared a plate of gluten-free donuts which are still just as tasty. Fairly high prices. Dietary restrictions: Lots of choices for gluten-free.

I liked the Ottavio restaurant. I had the duck linguine with the crispy noodles. For my part there was a bit too much crispy noodle but it was very good with the little sweet taste! They make big plates so prepare your hunger . Great service and its a BYOB. Dietary restrictions: In the middle of the menu there is a section that lists the ingredients of certain meals for people who have allergies or intolerances.

You cant say anything bad about the food, if you do you probably grew up on KD and chicken nuggets. I been coming here since it opened (I think 2005 or 6) and its a amazing everytime.

Arrive alone at the restaurant on a Thursday evening around 7:30 p.m. Although there are several groups and several tables available. The waitress wants me to sit next to the door. Not very inviting, she offers me other places. Sat for 15 minutes, no waitress showed up, I left, the hostess didnt seem to care. It s certain that arriving alone she must tell herself that it s not a big loss. Namely; It s a BYOB. There appears to be no alcohol on the menu.

Monday and Tuesday unlimited mussels. To mark an event, a party...it was perfect. The service was impeccable and always with a smile. It was a very pleasant evening despite the price increase....but all restaurants have increased prices. I will definitely return there. Dietary restrictions: GLUTEN FREE is certified. Special menu and different dishes to avoid any contamination. Parking: On a Tuesday evening....no problem parking. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to climb.

Horrible service, was ignored by several waitresses to the point we had to walk to the kitchen to find a waitress (where several waitresses just chatting with each other instead of doing their jobs). Food was meh, too expensive for mediocre pizza and pasta. I would never go back and would never recommend this place.

We went Wednesday lunchtime. The mussels were very good. I am gluten intolerant and appreciated that he was careful about cross contamination. On the other hand, why the 3 stars. From 1, we had a childrens meal and I realize that it came with a drink and dessert and we didnt have any of that. We were not asked what we wanted and were just given the main course. Also the gluten-free pizza was not very good unfortunately. It annoys me that people have to demand from us what we were supposed to give us in the first place. And we agree on a weekday at 11:30 a.m. it wasnt so busy as to say they forgot.

The perfect place for celiac people!!! They cook your meals in a separate kitchen and with different colored dishes to ensure no cross contamination. I had never seen this kind of restaurant before. Its nice to feel at home in a restaurant and not have to justify yourself or try to know what you can actually eat without the risk of getting sick. Thank you very much to the owners of this restaurant for taking the health of their customers to heart.

One of my favourite restaurants. The food is really good. I have tried different pastas from here and I never get disappointed. They are all so yummy. Lasagna, salad and soup are also really good.

I ordered takeout for the first time from Ottavio tonight. The food was very delicious and I especially appreciated the vegan menu. Even though I didnt dine in, I also still experienced exceptional service over the phone. The person I spoke with was very kind and made sure that I knew exactly what I was ordering (esp. with regards to what had dairy and what did not). He also insisted that we try the vegan arancini, which I was not initially planning on but will be ordering again. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Food taste ok... Price...overpriced for poor portion sizes. Service... could be more attentive to an English speaking client. Dont recommend the place for the price reason. Cant pay 25$ for a pasta plate that costs less than 10$ to prepare and serve it in French!!!

Very safe for people with allergies.

I had a mixed experience. Food was very decent, but not great. All dishes could have been improved on. Our server unfortunately did not seems to want to serve us, so did skip a few basic service principle. It might just been a bad day for her. Overall, I think it a very decent and nice place as local family restaurant, not a place you would go on a date or if you are a foodie looking for great experience.

The food is very very good for the price. I have made a suggestion to them though. The pizza crust is always soggy. Crisp it up and you have a great eating experience . Vegan options are excellent !!!!

The food is good and the portions are generous (favorite for the arancini starter ) The service is fast, efficient and courteous. Cuisine suitable for people who eat gluten-free or vegan. The bring your own wine formula reduces the bill and we are happy about it!! First experience at this restaurant and I plan to return.

Excellent BYOB BYOB restaurant. I chose the rifles arrabiatta with Italian sausages. Nothing to do with the penne or fusili arrabiatta that we usually see, the portion is copious, the dish is inspired by home cooking, generous, tasty, comfort food. The welcome and service were attentive, charming and warm. Special attention is given to allergies. Very nice discovery just a stones throw from Place Bell. I recommend.

As a person with celiac disease, Ottavio is a go-to. They are super accomodating for people with dietary restrictions. They even identify your food with a sticker or a color that was red in my case to make sure you get the right thing for your dietary restrictions. Last time I went I got the gluten free italian poutine and the gluten free beignets. Would highly reccomend! Dietary restrictions: Very accomodating, the servers cleary know a lot about food allergies and diets. They answered all of our questions.
