Incredible service, 5 star food. A great experience from start to finish END .

Booked this place for my sons baptism...needless to say very very disappointed. The service was an hour late which made our drink tab $$$$, they came out with the wrong pasta and sauce (two different types were served ???), not enough food for main dish shared platter, they forgot to serve tables, we supplied a 300$ cake that they didnt cut or serve, not enough cups for coffee...Look they said they could accomodate but clearly they coudnt. When we called them 2 days later to discuss they were shocked and would remediate the situation...needless to say they didnt even call back and swept it all under the rug. DO NOT HOST MAJOR EVENTS HERE

Very bad service with the waiter with a shaved head! The waiter poured wine on the table and didnt even clean it up. He took the dish from my table as he passed without stopping and violently grabbed my shoulder without apologizing!!!!! When I pointed this out to him, he didnt even apologize!!!! Very bad server.

Restaurant on 2nd level of Courtyard Hotel in the Montmorency district of Laval. Lentil soup: very small portion, too much garlic. Salmon: very small portion, good butternut squash sauce. Pizza (margherita style with buffalo mozz) probably the best choice on the menu. If I ever come back I am having pizza. Period.

Overall it is a nice place. The service was ok. What they are lacking is the presentation. The utensils were the only item on my table. It seems as if I was eating in a cafeteria. The food presentation was all over the place clearly missing basic techniques. My vegetables were over cooked, the 14 onces steak was not an AAA grade and once I had removed all of its ugly fat I was left with maybe a 10onces steak. I would go back for a quick dinner because of its location of being part of the Marriott space. I find it convenient not to have to go out after a day s work but would not order the steak again.

Ce restaurant est tout simplement le meilleur ! Moi et un ami avons été mangé là-bas et le ravioli homard était très délicieux je pouvais y déceler toutes les petites saveurs . I have only one recommendation: avoid at all costs. The quality of the service, the generosity and execution of the dishes as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant are not worth the price charged. I had the impression of helping to pay for a large cellar, without having a server (bartender since we were sitting at the bar) who knew the products that were there. He didnt even know how to open a bottle of wine (he mentioned it himself), nor how to serve it properly. A good manager or maître d should know this and teach them! We ordered two dishes, the restaurant was really not busy and yet the wait was very long. The waiter never asked us if our dishes were to our liking. At the same time, with 6 small ravioli on my plate, I had to be quick to ask my opinion before I finished my dish. Which restaurant serves a pasta dish on a cold plate anyway?!? We poured our wine ourselves, because no one followed up on the service. And what about the playlist if I closed my eyes, I could have believed that I was in a Karaoke evening. Pop rock from the 90s and early 2000s simply has no reason to be in this type of restaurant. In short, its a big show-off and I think my money is used to pay for the decor but nothing more. A one-star rating is already too generous. A place that will benefit from the crowds generated by Place Bell, but which does not offer an experience worthy of the bill or the decor. There is a serious lack of know-how.

Very difficult to get there if you dont know the places. Three turns and lack of directions. Everyone in our group was late. Good meal, but at the end an hour to pay the bills, the terminals all failed....

Made a reservation for my birthday for around 20 people, overall food was amazing and atmosphere was unique but service was not there. The waitress was rude and was disregarding us the whole time. When the pizzas arrived, half of the table didnt have plates or cutlery.

Great food, great service, free parking!!!! But no free WIFI and thats why its 4 out of 5 stars for atmosphere.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this superb Italian restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The setting is warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a memorable meal. To start, the arancini were a real delight: crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a tasty filling that evoked Italy. Next, the lobster ravioli stole the show. The dough was perfectly al dente, and the lobster topping was fresh and generous, accompanied by a light sauce that enhanced each bite. As a main course, the veal chop was simply sublime. Cooked to perfection, it was tender and juicy, with deep, well-balanced flavors. The chef knew how to accompany it with seasonal vegetables, adding a touch of freshness. The service was impeccable, with attentive and passionate staff . Finally, dessert was a real nod to Italian tradition, but I couldnt resist the option of tiramisu. Over all experience at Rosso Cielo was amazing . The food was delicious (we had the burger , chicken , salmon and steak everything was cooked to perfection . Extremely tasty and the portion sizes are perfect ) the drinks were well made, our waitress was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us suggestions on great desserts . The ambience is great and would definitely recommend and come back with friends and family.

The rib steak was delicious! Not overcooked, not too rare, the perfect balance! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my choice. My only suggestion would be to ensure that the wines on the list are available. Otherwise, overall, we had a good time.

Very disappointed with the customer service and my overall experience. Waited 20 minutes at my table for a waiter to come see us or even bring a glass of water. We gave up and went directly to the bar to order our drinks. How can you mess up an aperol spritz (my wifes) not enough aperol and proseco and way too much soda. The food was very bland and took forever to come. Again not once a manager came to see us for the long wait instead he was busy flirting and drinking with customers. I felt bad for our waitress because it was clear she didnt have enough experience for the job. Good luck but I wont go back.

I love it here. The cocktails are good and original, I recommend the St Germain spritz, very refreshing. For food, you cant go wrong with mozzarella di bufala, arancini served with pesto mayo and lamb chops or gnocchi a la Gigi! After dinner (or before) its worth going to the 10th for a cocktail with a beautiful view on the weekend when its open.

We arrived and in 30 minutes no one came to see us. If only to ask if we wanted something to drink. In addition to placing us on a table with broken legs. We got up and left. Never again.

We went to dinner last night and unfortunately it really didnt live up to my expectations, we waited 20 minutes before the waiter came to see us, the waiter didnt know what he was doing! Said that the meal comes with potatoes and zero vegetables when there were only vegetables and no potatoes, a tasteless meal unfortunately for the price of the plate ($48) this is the last time that you will see us. In addition to hearing RAP music at full volume throughout dinner because of the show in the street.

If your hungry dont come here it will take 2 hours before you get your food service is not up to the standards of the price your paying. I dont recommend

We organized a wedding anniversary surprise with a group of 15 people at Rosso Cielo restaurant, and the experience was perfect from start to finish. Xavier and the team took wonderful care of us, making the evening even more special. The group menu choices are extensive and every dish we tried was delicious. Went on a date night with my wife I had heard great things !! First off the place was beautiful and the outside the terrace was stunning. The service was great and recommended the sharing platters . It didn t disappoint it was delicious and had abit of everything. Seafood and mixed meats . The cocktails and wine recommendation were also on point. We have definitely discovered our new place in the Laval area !!!

From service to food, everything was perfect. We then went for a drink at the rooftop where Jonathan welcomed us warmly, and we had a wonderful evening.

I was disappointed with my experience at Ciello Rosso Restaurant. While looking to make a reservation, I attempted to call them twice with no luck. When we arrived, there was no one at reception to welcome us. We had to move forward on our own and eventually someone directed us to the terrace, after that nothing more. No service was offered to us. We waited a long time, without anyone coming to see us. In the end we decided to leave given the complete lack of service. For a Saturday lunchtime, the restaurant was not very busy, which is perhaps indicative of the quality of the service. The place certainly has a beautiful setting, but sorely lacks soul and attention to customers. I dont recommend Ciello Rosso if youre looking for a pleasant, well-supervised dining experience.

This was the worst experience of my life in a restaurant. Not only was the service extremely slow, but it was obvious that the employees were severely inexperienced. We waited over 1.5 hours to be served, and even When our order finally arrived, the food was far from up to par. The cheese used on the pizza was not worthy of an Italian restaurant, and there was no crusty bread with the starter. Buffalo cheese No one came to apologize or offer us anything to compensate for this disastrous experience. Despite the pretty restaurant, the beautiful terrace and the parking inside, I am really disappointed and I do not recommend it. absolutely not this place.

Great Italian spot in the Cielo Skybar on the 10th floor. Limited menu as compared to the 2nd floor but the view and atmosphere more than make up for it. Definitely go up for drinks, at least.

Very nice, welcoming place, friendly and competent staff. I chose the dish RAVIOLI ARAGOSTA 34 Stuffed with lobster and ricotta, pistachio pesto, lemon zest, really delicious but for $34 and ravioli stuffed just a little in the center and an almost empty plate. I remained satisfied with my appetite. There were two of us who chose the same plate and were both disappointed with the quantity on the plate. An adjustment in the quantity of this delicious dish would be appreciated, without increasing the price of the plate. In addition, I chose the tiramisu for dessert and the thickness of cocoa powder on top was really too generous, the texture was unpleasant in the mouth. Small adjustment would be appreciated, as the rest was excellent.

On the 10th floor terrace, very very nice discovery at the end of Saturday evening! We only went up there to see, and ended up staying there for a few drinks! Very pleasant lounge atmosphere with DJ, beautiful view of Montreal and the fireworks in the distance (Loto-Quebec fireworks) and very friendly staff! Quite possibly the new must-have for friends and lovers!

Im only giving two stars for the service. Food is awful. Tried the salmon tartar, the focaccia, margarita pizza and two types of pasta. None of those dishes tasted what they were supposed to taste like. The focaccia wasn t even a focaccia bread it was just a regular bread. For the pizza margarita we couldn t even take another bite from it. It was not good at all. The salmon tartar tasted odd to the point where it made me sick later that night. Tortellini were EXTREMELY acidic it was hard to finish the dish and you could tell they were frozen and not cooked well. As for the lobster ravioli, the pistachio sauce threw me off a little. On every one of those dish there were the same basil herbs. I understand it adds some color and makes it look somewhat fancy but Not everything needs basil! Unfortunately will not be coming back.

honestly, i could not recommend this place less. i came on a sunday at 7:30, although the place wasn t super full, the staff were unwelcoming and cold. not even the manager had a smile on his face. everything is pretty pricy, and the picture make the food look great, yet it is all so unseasoned, obviously cooked from frozen and the portions are tiny. we left hungry, yet in so much stomach pain. the server came to see us 3 times within the entire hour and a half we were there: once to greet and pour water, another to take the order, and to pay the bill. overall, if ur craving italian food, head over to sergiolino across the street. u ll actually leave full for half the price and with leftovers. not to mention the ambience is lively and the staff actually smiles.

The meal really took a long time to arrive, it was very long! The menu isnt really diverse, there isnt really a lot of choice but the waitress was really attentive! Her name is pink, very friendly and really welcoming Parking: There is no parking on the street, visible parking outside is prohibited.

Cool atmosphere. Food is alright, nothing out of this world. But the drinks are TERRIBLE. Extremely water down alcohol and their specialty drinks have nothing special to them. Prices of drinks is way too high for being mainly water and no alcohol.

Nice dinner with friends before a show just across the street. Good atmosphere, good food. I had the veal medallion and it was very tasty, good portion. Our friend had the lobster ravioli and was quite pleased with it. One of us had to wait a while for his plate, the burger, which was a bit disappointing since we were in a bit of a hurry for our show. Given the location, would go there again.

Atmosphere: the music is too loud at the bar, difficult to talk to each other. Service: alcohol menu not provided, we had to ask for bread, water and pepper. Service too fast between starter and main course. Forks and knives not changed between the starter and the main course. Cuisine: delicious Caesar salad, the fries are good but have lost their excellence in 3 weeks. The salmon tartare and hot dish were very good. A little disappointed with the Risotto and the carbonara paste.

Unreachable by phone, so we didnt know if we could park. We booked for 5 and when we arrived, the young lady didnt seem sure of our reservation There are 5 of you after all? We never changed numbers. The restaurant was empty, they wanted to put us together with the only two customers there. We had to ask to be more isolated. Strange, it makes sense... Very good food, reasonable prices for the quality and quantity, but I have never seen arancini served without tomatoes and I had to return my fondant twice because it was cold and the 3rd time it was practically burned. Its borderline insulting to have loaded it up anyway, I didnt eat it.

Very good restaurant with attentive service. Mathieu our server who had only been there for 1 week did very well. The only downside was that my partner had the filet mignon with lobster tail, it came with fries and vegetables but never had the fries. We wanted a digestive with our dessert. We are told that they have pretty much everything, my partner asks for a Belle de Brillet cognac and I offer 3 choices: pear cider, Porto or ice cider. The server came back to us saying that no choice was available, a little disappointing. Otherwise, everything else was ok. I would go back without a problem and also to try the terrace because the evening we went there it was raining.

A beautiful place, the food the place was awesome. I gave 4 stars for the service because there were 2 points that really bothered me today. 1- I made a reservation with a very specific note following the importance of my appointment, at the entrance I said that I have a reservation, the girl at reception did not even not checked she told us I trust you that you have made a reservation follow me, its very nice of her but we are making a reservation to also follow the recommendations that we have put 2- the waitress was very nice, the service was perfect however what bothered us a lot was the number of times you came to see us we stayed 2h15 the waitress came to see us more than 6 times, including we were already eating and she asks us if we want boxes to take the food!!!!!! But let us finish eating!!! In a very serious conversation you cut me off 6 times, it s honestly unpleasant.

Took 1h to get our food and pizza was very bad with sections not well cook and others burned. Ingredients where not proportionated and on top they replaced arugula for luzerne without specifying it worst pizza I ve eaten from a Resto.

During my recent visit to Rosso Cielo I was notably disappointed with both the service and the quality of the offerings. Upon ordering a glass of wine, I found it to be served at an unsuitably warm temperature. When I requested a replacement, I was dismayed to receive the same glass, albeit slightly chilled after a brief stint in the fridge. This lack of proper attention to detail was further exemplified by the fact that when I ordered a dozen oysters, only eleven were served, contributing to an overall unsatisfactory dining experience. Improvements in both service efficiency and attentiveness to customer requests are essential for Rosso Cielo to meet the expected standards.

Its a beautiful terrace in Laval.. the cocktails, the food and the service are very good.. the very loud techno music is very average.. several people have made the remark.. as the clientele is a public of all ages should be more varied and less loud to hear themselves speak at a minimum.

Super good service from Xavier. I asked him for a pizza, the one the chef prefers. I was surprised, fresh, hot, tasty pizza, perfect crust, and quiet atmosphere, perfect for couples. Prices are low and could be more expensive compared to the quality. Ill definitely come back! 5/5

We went on a very quiet Tuesday evening and still had to wait 1 hour to receive our food. Several of the dishes received were overcooked or even burned.

Delicious authentic Italian cuisine! Beautiful terasse ambiance rooftop terasse view like no other in Laval! Great staff! Lucas was most friendly and personable busboy! Definitely a must underground parking makes it very accessible! Parking: Simply get parking voucher stamped !

Very slow service

The atmosphere is correct, beautiful decor and the waiters are very nice, lucky because it was one of the positive things. We were there for the terrace and to our surprise it is only open on Thursdays. There were 4 people for dinner on a day of Sunday The cocktails are passable no more than that, I have 2 people who asked for the risotto and I can tell you they paid $44 plus tax and in 5 bites it was finished, and the risotto was very disappointing it didnt cost like a real risotto almost no cheese, and they didnt even use the real risotto. There was another person who chose the salmon which was good, and I chose the lobster ravioli which was good but you had to look for the lobster inside. The quantities are very small. If you are hungry you have to eat before going, otherwise you have to ask for the pizza so that you can be sure of not being hungry afterwards. It is certain that we will never go back, because after a bill of 90$ and more I can eat much better elsewhere. I paid for the decor and the place. I was more for the terrace very disappointed when they said that it only opened on Thursday. The false advertising, In any case good luck but for me it was and my friends have were really disappointed.

Worst terrasse ever waited 15 minutes for someone to come see us only to wait another 1h30 waiting for our order that we never got, manager was rude and did not care. We did not even get water that we had asked at least 3 times. We left before even getting our order. Will never come back again. They have no clue on how to run a restaurant. I strongly suggest you find somewhere else to go

It was my first time at Cielo Rosso Terrace and honestly it was the worst experience Ive had in a restaurant. Our reservation was at 8 pm for 2 people. It had been 20 minutes and no waiter came to see us. So I had to go see a waitress myself so she could take our order. After ordering, we waited 1h30 and we still had not received our food or our drinks and not even WATER. We asked him for water twice and got nothing yet. Then I go to see the manager to tell him that we havent received anything from our order yet. He was nonchalant. Ive never seen a manager like that, he just didnt care. He just told me he was going to see what happened. 10 minutes later, we havent had anything yet so I get up to see him again and I tell him that this is unacceptable and that we are going to leave. He tells me your sex on the beach is coming , but that wasn t even my order. I also told him that it s not normal to wait 1h30 just for water and he replied it s because water is bought here (what s the connection??? Lol ). Subsequently, although I told him that we were leaving because it was an unacceptable service and that we were never going to come back, he showed no interest in helping us. He was just making arguments against us instead of helping us remedy the situation. In short, I understand that the restaurant just opened not long ago, but that does not excuse the managers unpleasant behavior. I hope that eventually they will improve.

We ordered the sharing plate for $195! Is it worth it, I would tell you .no! For what? Firstly, the presentation of the plate leaves something to be desired. For that price, we would have expected a little red wine or other sauce to accompany the meats. Then, the piece of lobster, the crab legs, the butterfly shrimp were too overcooked. Furthermore, there is no garlic butter on the side, which we think is essential with seafood. So, we had to ask for it! At this price, a small side salad would be nice. Well, we shared our comments with the waitress! It s a new restaurant, they will surely improve! The terrace is sublime and the staff are impeccable and very kind!

Extremely long service, 1 hour wait to receive my dish and the restaurant is quite empty, very disappointing Dont take the shrimp starter, they are inedible, I took a bite of a shrimp and I was still loaded without the waiter asking me any questions about why I hadnt touched the dish! Its definitely not worth the price; experience, atmosphere & food quite disappointing

We started by having an aperitif on the terrace on the 10th floor. Fast service, nice atmosphere, reasonable price. Afterwards we ate on the terrace on the 2nd floor. The dishes were good and the quantities were consistent with the price, but unfortunately as many have mentioned the service was slow although there were few customers. Parking: Taking the hotel parking is asked at the restaurant reception to scan the ticket for free parking

Avoid at all cost

We went last Saturday for a birthday supper. The location and concept is phenomenal. Felt like I was downtown Montreal but I wasn t I was in Laval. Nicely set up terrace to dine. Unfortunately the service and food did not hold up. The menu also was lacking. They need something to differentiate themselves. Service wise our waitress was nice but didn t know her menu. When we asked her questions she kept telling us I will go ask and come back to you. This is a hotel so the service needs to be at a certain standard. As for the food, the appetizers were great. The mains however lacked in flavour and 4/6 dishes were brought out cold. This included 2 pasta plates and two steak plates, and the pizza was loaded with olive oil and too much cheese it wasn t very pleasing to the tastebuds. I believe constructive criticism is good so they can fix these points because the place is really one of a kind for Laval. Parking: Underground parking available.

It was a good experience but there are things to improve. Terrace: 8/10 really a beautiful location with a view of the interior garden of the Espace Montmorency. Service: 8/10 waiter was really nice Drinks: 10/10. Not to expensive and good Food: 6.5/10 nothing new, decent pizza ...but Ive had better. The squid and shrimp were bland and lacked seasonings. Not worth the price. The best dish was the sliders as a starter. Good taste...Not sure if it was Angus though...I had a feeling of frozen meatballs... Overhall the dishes lacked freshness except for the pizza. But nice location and nice atmosphere. Parking: Free indoor parking. Keep the ticket and validate it at the hotel upon exit.

Truly an amazing night! Service was fast and since it was our first time eating at this restaurant, the waiter was giving us popular recommendations on what to eat! I would definitely come again!

We ordered at 6 p.m. and at 7:45 p.m. we had to leave because we still hadn t received anything to eat . Beautiful decor, beautiful cutlery but nothing to eat ..and there were several of us in the same situation. In short, I advise them to quickly remedy the problem if they want to remain open... for me it is certain that I will not return there but I wish them good success and I hope that my message will resonate to provide the necessary corrections

From the cuisine to the service, everything is perfect for this beautiful restaurant, close to Place Bell! Ideal before going to see shows! I highly recommend

C était très long pour recevoir les repas et entrées, peut-être qu ils manquent encore d expérience? La pizza était loin d être bonne, la sauce goûtait très acide, comme si le seul ingrédient était la tomate. L ensemble des repas (pâtes, pizza) était trop salé et pas très chaud. Bien que la serveuse était très gentille, je ne recommande pas ce restaurant.

Wow what an experience! Beautiful restaurant, very clean, good music and impeccable food! I was there before a show at Place Bell and everything was perfect! I absolutely recommend!

Finally a high quality Italian restaurant in Laval

Drove from Downtown MTL to this restaurant, it was almost empty and they werent able to accommodate 2 people because I did not have a reservation. Ridiculous, why dont you mentioned that its only with RESERVATION

This restaurant is in its infancy. Unfortunately not yet established in all spheres relating to a great culinary experience. Service, cocktails, food, ingredients . barely passable. Soulless cuisine. For those who dont have a passion for food, its okay. Maybe to visit again after a few months but certainly not for now. Large window which creates beautiful light in the restaurant.

What a beautiful new restaurant in the heart of Laval! The food was fresh and very tasty, with great options to choose from. The service was warm, kind, and professional. I d definitely go back and highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Rosso Cielo! From the moment we got there, service was attentive, our cocktails were very good. We shared the burrata caprese, ingredients were fresh, great combination of taste. As mains, gnocchi alla Gigi and pasta alla carbonara with black truffle, both were full of flavors! Yummy cannoli for dessert. Great experience all around! Cant wait for summer to enjoy what promises to be a wonderful rooftop terrasse in Laval!

Excellent experience and food! I had the Caesar salad and rigatoni bolognese. Service was 5 starts in its own. Fluent in English and French! Definitely recommend going here!

Really nice ambiance. I loved the shrimp/calamari appetizer - next time I m not sharing. LOL. I enjoyed delicious lobster ravioli. My sister enjoyed a pricy Filet mignon with absolutely no regrets on the price after devouring every bite. We will return. BTW - across the street from the metro - and Place Bell. Parking: Enter parking by Jacques-Tetreault street. It s an underground parking. Ho to level 2.

Wow, Rosso Cielo seriously knows how to make a dinner special! My wife and I were there last night and right from the get-go, it felt like we were in for a treat. The place has a great vibe to it. Appetizers first they were just amazing! You can really tell they put a lot of love and thought into making them. Now, the main event the NY steak. It was cooked to perfection, exactly how I wanted it. Juicy, flavorful, and just plain delicious. It s like they knew exactly what I was craving and nailed it! We re totally looking forward to when they open their terrace outside. Can t wait to enjoy cocktails and another great meal under the sky with a terrific view of Laval & Montreal!

Was looking forward to dinner here. Unfortunately was disappointed. The place itself is nice, but very bright and ended up being very loud because of a group of very loud men near us. We were 8ppl and they originally set up two tables of 4 but separated, had to ask them to push them together. We were seated right in front of the bar where many drinker were hanging around so that wasn t very pleasant. Our drink order were taken separately for some reason so they arrived at different times. Our food order was taken and apps came fairly quickly but our mains took at least 30 minutes after the apps were cleared and even after our waiter asked if we would like our mains quickly and we said yes, it still took forever. One of us took the burger and the cheese on was so cold, like it just came out of the fridge and slapped on. My chicken was just ok. They seemed to use the same tomato sauce for all their dishes (pasta, pizza etc) and that doesn t always work. We had two kids with us but no kids menu was offered so I figured they did not have one. Later I saw a waitress bring out kids dishes of chicken fingers would have be nice to know they offered this. The cost, it was very expensive for a Courtyard restaurant. Sad to say we won t be returning.

Had supper with friends and food was absolutely amazing. The ambience was great. Wonderful wine selection. Friendly staff. Prime location in downtown Laval. We will definitely be there soon again!

The food is good when it finally arrives, its practically a disaster. The restaurant was empty... we arrived at 8 p.m., its 11:55 p.m. and were still waiting for the bill... its incredibly ridiculous... really, with the choice of restaurants next door, go elsewhere! !!!!

Great food quality and value with amazing bar & cocktails, an awesome & refined service team!!! Has an outstanding view with floor to ceiling windows all around; also unique place to Laval soon to come in summer a big terrace adjecent to the restaurant/bar, aswell another even greater and a first for Laval; a huge rooftop terrace patio!!!

Chic and warm new restaurant, a nice addition to the neighborhood. The prices are fair. Looking forward to seeing the terraces (2nd and 10th floors) and their atmosphere in summer. The Caprese pizza is divine!
