We booked the large private room to celebrate a friends Baby Shower and we loved the experience! Our waitress, Camille, and her team offered us excellent, courteous, warm and efficient service!

We went to the Pasta Bar for a birthday party. To begin with, the price of drinks is quite high. $4 for a Pepsi, $5 for a glass of milk and from $12-13 for a drink with alcohol. Then, the pasta bar: $35 + tax & it s far from out of the ordinary. The taste was good but nothing more. I would have rather paid $20 + tax and that would have been generous. The taste was ok, clean restaurant and good service but unfortunately, it is very expensive for what you know.

This place is a reference in the neighborhood. They have been in service for over 30 years! While other pasta restaurants are closed on Saturday lunchtime, they are open. Pasta of your choice sautéed with sauce of your choice and with proteins and vegetables of your choice. One made a rosé sauce with shrimp, the other a spicy meat sauce with sausages. Excellent. Very good Portuguese breads, from the nearby S Miguel bakery. Magnificent cheesecake with strawberry coulis made on site by an employee, her personal recipe: a real delight. The cheese melts in your mouth! Vegetarian options: Several vegetables are available, but no meat substitutes, such as legumes. Cheese, basically. Parking: Enough room for everyone, as it is located in a small shopping center on Le Corbusier, in Laval.

Always a pleasure to eat there. Clean and the staff is smiling. Very good quality/price when you consider that we often leave with something left over for a midnight snack or lunch the next day.

Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was good and the service very friendly.

The food is great, but the waitress are VERY VERY cheap with the bread and olive oil !!!! I am a paying customer and you offer bread ...if i want more bread dont be a little karen and act as if the bread comes out of your pocket !!!! We chose the pasta bar service for our wedding last Saturday. The meal was delicious and the team was super efficient. There was no wait to get our meal. We have had several good comments from our guests. We would definitely make the same choice if we had to do it again.

We went the weekend of March 15. We were and tournament for our hockey team so we were a group. Worst restaurant experience ever. We are a couple with a child aged 8 and a 2 year old. When we arrived, we didnt really get a welcome. 45 minute wait to first order our drink. Wait another 30 minutes to receive it. For groups of children, orders are taken after 1 hour. The parents have not taken orders yet and the drinks have not yet arrived. 1:15 later the drinks arrive and the kids receive their orders or go to the pasta bar. The parents have no orders yet and the children are eating. Finally the children finish eating and the parents orders are taken. I would like to say that no accommodation or order has been taken at this time for my 2 year old child. 1:30 waiting in the childs bench to eat and no order taken and the waitress completely ignores the fact that we have a 2 year old child. 1:45 later the parents start eating and the children have already finished more than 30 minutes ago. Keeping a group of young people aged 8-9 in a restaurant with nothing to do and trying to keep them quiet. What a bad experience. 2 hours of waiting to finally get the 2 year old to eat after the 8 year olds by sharing our plate. Worst experience especially with a 2 year old with us!

Super nice to be able to have your pasta prepared as you wish. It would be good for visual people like me to still have a written description of the ingredients and sauces available. The cheesecake is really good and creamy.

Very slow service. Very expensive. Children aged 12 and over couldnt even go and help themselves at the same time as the others because they consider them adults. In addition they were forced to take the entire menu which they wasted and in addition to the high bill the waitress shouted at my wife because we did not give a tip. I do not recommend this restaurant in any way.

$180 bill for 4. 2 were kids! 12 years old so were not allowed to get up and go to the pasta bar until the adults were served. Forced to go back to the table embarassed. Served 2.5hrs after reservation time and forced to order table dhote for 4! No other option for the kids either. Im pissed off not only because if this but also the lazagna made me barf and main the waitress yelled at me for not tipping!!!! Zero stars and heres a tip to everyone! Dont go there! Period.

Forces me to put tips and weighs on the machine for me (to add the 15%) knowing that the only thing the waitress did, during the evening, was to pick up my plate..

I N A C C E P T A B L E. They force us to tip 15% because this represents a restaurant policy the manager says that this is the amount that the waitresses live on.

The owner forced us to give a 15% tip on every order by pressing on the button and implied that it was restaurant policy. The service was mediocre and the only thing the server did was clean up the plates after. The tips should go to the chefs instead. They are the ones doing the real work!!

Rude service, impolite and entitled. They make you give tip automatically when you pay. Food is average as best and often cold because of the wait time. Really overpriced, it s 25$ for a small plate of pasta. Most of the employees barely talk english or french. Not the type to write these type of thing, but I feel like I had to after this experience. Ive never felt less welcomed somewhere than at that restaurant. I hope they change their owner/manager because they clearly don t know how to run a successful business. Raciste aussi. BLM

Very unpleasant service no energy no joy in the faces of the waitresses. Its sad to see that one of them pushed my colleague. This training needs to be reviewed. Thats HRs job. However, I doubt you have any. In addition, we are forced to pay 15% tip for a service to be reviewed. I feel extremely sorry for these people. Yes they work hard. But this shoddy work or rather this pressure to pay a tip knowing that we are not obliged to pay. This restaurant in no way deserves peoples kindness and time. Everything needs to be reviewed.

We went to dinner this afternoon. The restaurant was empty. We wanted to have service and she constantly mentioned to us that she was busy opening the restaurant and preparing for the day! Yet we were customers too. We had REALLY POOR service by the older waitress (L). I mentioned to him my dissatisfaction with the meal and especially the service. Madame had a condescending and aggressive tone. However, we were polite to her. We asked to speak with the manager. Madame tells me that he went out to run errands. I asked for his contact details without success. She told me as she snatched the bill from the table that she was going to correct the amount. I had to go to the kitchen to ask for a box to bring back the food because Madame was too busy She took away the price of the desert from me. $3. We will never come and eat at this restaurant again. Its not worth it to be treated like this for $32.

The food is decent here. Nothing great or amazing. The pasta portions were inconsistent and messy. Some parts of the pasta were cold. Probably won t be coming back here anytime soon

The food and prices were good. However, we had to chase down our waitress. Past the entree, we spent 25 minutes waiting and waving at staff who would not acknowledge us, for the dessert card. Waited another 15 trying to be patient. Finally, my husband walked to the minibar to order them to go. I dont know what was happening out front, service was good till we ate the entrees. The menu also does not reflect what is available for ingredients, sauce and tye of pasta. Only specific things were mentioned, like half the menu was missing. You order your pasta directly from the cook, but we had issues hearing her. It would be great if they had a menu card next to the station, one that lists ingredients, sauces and prices.

We booked 1 day in advance for 40 people. We were a hockey team who requested in advance to have a childrens menu. And in the end have childrens portions for the adult price. Yes, a lunch price but unfortunately when the owner says that it was his waitresss mistake and loses patience when you calmly suggest that its a shame to have changed this once there. Its really a shame.

We had a family celebration at Wilfrid Pasta Bar last Sunday. Can not thank our server, Line and the entire staff of Wilfrid Pasta Bar enough! Service was impeccable, food was delicious ( we had arranged for Table hôte for our entire group of over 30) Merci encore Line! Tu es superbe!

The Pasta is A1 , youll get your fill.

The only downside was that the music was loud and only in English.

If I could leave a zero, I would. The waitress yelled at my mom for not leaving a tip stating that now she had to pay the government out of her own pockets. First of all, a tip is optional. And she had simply forgotten- it happens. The absolute disrespect and disregard for other human beings one must have to YELL at a stranger is appalling. Do you guys hire disrespectful people all the time or was this waitress just a one time thing? Absolutely disgusting. They went for a nice meal and she came back almost in tears. This is NOT how you treat clients, and this is not how you treat humans. Vile behaviour.

We had our wedding reception here. They were very kind, accommodating, and patient. The staff took excellent care of us and our guests. They let me come in the night before to decorate the reception room, which was very much appreciated. The food was excellent. Ambiance was lively and family friendly. Definitely recommend Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for the differently abled.

As mentioned by several other customers, the service doesnt even deserve one star. The slightly elderly lady doesnt even answer our questions, she is in a hurry and speaks rudely even though she has 4 tables and I understand why. She rushes to collect the plates without knowing if the customers have finished... the other Latina lady doesnt understand and doesnt speak French which makes the whole thing very weird. She told me you are alone I said no you see my 2.5 year old daughter she told me ah I don t count her In short, even if the food and the concept of the pasta bar are good, the service makes the experience quite mediocre, which is a shame because there is potential.

Very good choice. Also available for catering services for events. There were 120 of us and everything was quick and delicious. Choice of gluten-free pasta also available.

1.Avoid this place if you are a vegetarian. They use the same tongs for meat and vegetables at the pasta bar.. lot of cross contamination.. being a vegetarian seeing that you won t be able to eat your food. 2.OVERPRICED- ordered a bruschetta - got 3 very very tiny pieces of bread with salad on the side.. not at all worth it. 3.NO TASTE - pasta was really really basic. We were really hoping some unique pasta taste. But the sauce tasted like a store bought one. The plus side was that the service was good and they were really quick..

Good experience

The concept remains very interesting; foodies are able to create dishes according to their tastes; perfect if you have difficult teenagers like me; simple not to insert vegetables! Overall the portions are generous including the starters; the table dhôte is simple and advantageous; you order what you want. I recommend without hesitation; I will go back there and frequently, thats for sure. THANKS!

She even told me before I left the restaurant You have hone, she was talking about my friend. This place is AWESOME! Im not local, Im from Houston, TX but come here for business every now and then. Been here twice and was impressed both times. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, and tasty! For the review that didnt like the taste, maybe it was the.combination choosen from the ingredients? Either way, pay this place a visit. I wish we had one in Texas!

The employees are not very friendly, they do not take the time to listen to the customers needs. No smile. The place is not very clean and the employees do not wash their hands before handling the pasta. Bad service.

The ambiance is nice, the service is decent and the food was great. The portion sizes are great for the price, both my partner and I could not finish our plate and had to take the rest in a takeout box. The table beside us, four out of five of them took a takeout box as well, just to show you how much the portions are great. They have vegeterian and gluten free options as well as Halal (chicken or vegetarian) options. The pasta was very slightly undercooked in my opinion, but otherwise good. The service was slightly sluggish, especially on a day where the place was empty. Otherwise, the taste was amazing and the decor was beautiful. Would definitely come back again if I was craving pasta.

I dont want anyone to lose their job over this review. So please train your staff better before giving them the boot. Might have been a language barrier or some other issue, but I felt like I was talking to a wall while ordering. It was very difficult. It was a really bad experience but the 2 girls working there were great. Moreover, the meat had a weird taste. The sauce was good. Overall bad first experience. Disappointed.

Bland sauce with undercooked pasta. The cream sauce was split and tastless.

I went back, first time since the start of the pandemic. The meals are always excellent. Now suitable for individual potions for breads. The pasta bar is a wonderful idea. We choose meats and vegetables, it simmers in a pan, we add the pasta and sauce of our choice, it gives us a very full bowl.

Très bon restaurant, les entrées tel que coquille au fruit de mer et escargot gratiné à lail sont juste miiaaamm !! Les sauce : blanche, tomate, à la viande, sont excellente séparément ou mixé ensemble. Les pâtes : choix entre 2 pâte longue et 2 pâte courte, aldente et portion généreuse. Les dessert : gâteau au fromage, un pur délice ! Maintenant avec terrasse.

They use the same tongs to add the ingredients to your plate. THE SAME pliers they take meat and vegetables.. Lots of cross contamination and we dont even talk about allergies. Due to this poor handling, I had a piece of meat on my plate that was vegetarian... I mentioned it to the waitress who was very nice but no consideration from the restaurant. Also, the person who served us at the bar had a really rude attitude.

We ordered our drink and got then an hour and a half later. The food is expensive for no reason. But the waitress was hot she gets the star of the night.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! They made a mistake in my Uber eats order and their boss blamed it on me and said that it was my fault the order was messed up because their employees can t read English and 80% of Quebec is French . Not once did anyone apologize for making more than one order wrong. SO RUDE!!!
