Bad customer service. The food isnt even good. In addition, they take the tip without even warning the customer. For them the 15% is obligatory even if the service is bad. As long as it is not a law, it is at the discretion of the customer. I have never had a tip taken away from me, in any restaurant, without it being of my own choosing. Not recommended.

We could have left without paying and none would know! The waiter brought our food and never came back for over an hour and a half! And when ee tracker her down, I told her its been a while she didnt come..she ignored my comment and asked how many bills! And when she brought the bills , we asked if they have desert and coffee she rudely said Yes! Would have been nice to be told before hand! Non existant service! Wont be going back!

The food was good but not exceptional. Calamari is not a big portion of you re looking to share with more than one person as an appetizer. The drinks are huge but not sure how much alcool there s in there. I was in good company so everything else was great.

Our waiter was great. Food was awful. I first ate at Carlos & Pepes in the early 1990s, it was great then. Have not been back for a while, but seems that after they got franchised it just became total crap. Tacos with mayonnaise were awful, the meat tasted mostly of black pepper. The Margarita was pure sugar and totally artificial. Totally terrible. So sad this old respected establisent fell so low. Will not be returning, ever.

I made a reservation and went there to find that I needed to wait and after 15 min finally got our table I had my kids with me it took 25 min to just place the order as the waitress was avoiding any eye contact or even when I called her cause clearly focused on a table of 10 people..... and another 45 min to get the food I swear if the kids werent starving I was going to leave it after 15 min Very bad experience not recommended

Had a birthday party for 15 people: food was fast and tasty. The service was responsive and friendly. The only negative is that we felt limited by the space and tables where we we re seated.

Terrible service, delivery takes a long time and the fajitas have almost no meat and there is almost no variety of tacos. It is supposed to be Mexican food but it didnt seem even a little bit Mexican.

Understaff would be the themes here. No one could be seen from the front entrance. At first we stood there for a while Until a couple said they went in side to find someone. Sat on the terrace, with my daughter, super nice server asked for our drink orders.. Two waters please, beer and an ice tea I said. Got one water, waited 10 minutes for the 2nd water and beer. No ice tea till I got the food and asked again. Food Was bland, rice was way over cooled ( like it sat under a heat lamp too long)no seasonings on the side( salt peeper, hot sauce ???) not even complementary chips and salsa as you wait.

I had an incredible dining experience at Carols and Pepes, thanks to the exceptional service provided by our waiter Nick. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. Nicks recommendations were spot-on every dish he suggested was delicious and exactly what we were looking for. The attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly made the evening memorable. If you re looking for great food and impeccable service, I highly recommend dining here and ask for him.

I recently visited Carlos & Pepe s and had an amazing experience. The Mexican food was absolutely fantastic and bursting with authentic flavors. Its very rare that I give an opinion but here it must be done My partner and I arrived yesterday evening booking The restaurant was crowded We were seated in a corner next to the bunk umbrellas because the terrace was closed and it was cold. I asked for a Margarita cocktail What I returned was sweet juice So I went with a safe bet and took a mohito, it was 7up with mint and Im sure there was no alcohol in it. (maybe because I returned my cocktail In short, the food was really ordinary. And terrible stomach ache this morning VERY BAD EXPERIENCE Were not going to go to this restaurant anymore, thats for sure.

Not Authentic Mexican food. It is not authentic food, and the species they use are not Mexican. I ordered the steak fajitas and the spices take away the flavor of the meat.

The food was meh at best, the ship tacos we got were way too salty. And the guacamole was under-seasoned and more like a store bought puree. The classic margaritas were too sweet and just okay. As someone from the south west I wouldnt even say this was tex-mex and certainly not mexican. Our server was okay. But she took a while to come see us once we had been seated. Small terrasse tables with a bulky utensil holders. No more complimentary tortilla chips in comparison to their competitors, which can provoke clients to get drinks. My mother mentioned it to the staff and they didnt take it well. We cancelled a drink, and one meal which other staff still tried to serve to us. Our waiter on the other hand was very professional about it.

Stood waiting for a seat for about 5 minutes. There was maybe 8 customers, and 10 waitstaff. Unsure why I couldnt get prompt service or why nobody was at the front door to seat customers. Especially given the sheer number of waitstaff sitting around. Had a slight mixup between who my server was, but I wont count that towards the staff I had, both were friendly and great. Food itself came hot, drink came cold. Portion was a bit too much, by the time I got to the last few bites it was soggy and saturated. Would have been perfectly fine paying 60% of the price for half the portion size. Had a very uncomfortable event in which a person stood by the seating area with their phone pointed at me and leaning over the wall, as there was no staff to help them. I had to ask the person if they needed help because they were invading my personal space, and when this was brought up to staff, they checked in on the guy and he just seemed to leave rhe building. Im a bit weirded out by the whole experience, as this is the first time someone acted like a creep in such a manner. I honestly dont think the layout of the booths near the front really helped the situation where it blocks line of sight to the rest of the restaurant and staff. I appreciate the herculean effort of my servers this evening, but I honestly felt uncomfortable and unwanted at this restaurant.

I made a reservation online. When we arrived, the hostess warned us that we had the table for 2 hours. I had spoken to someone the same morning to confirm my reservation, who never told me about the 2 hour maximum. As we didnt have a reservation elsewhere we decided to stay. We were quickly made to understand that we had to finish our meal quickly. We got our bills even though some hadnt even finished eating. No coffee, no dessert because the next reservation was waiting for the table. While we had our coats on our backs ready to go elsewhere, we were told that ultimately the other reservation was no longer going to take the table. Note that we had already paid and were already dressed. We asked if they could offer us coffee (least of things after all the inconvenience) They refused. We went elsewhere. Correct food nothing more. Table service: very good waitress! Customer satisfaction: completely zero! We will not return and we do not recommend either. Note that after verification, it was true that the 2-hour policy was written on the online reservation...in very small letters at the bottom of the page...where no one reads! Be careful, dont get caught.

We were asked to hurry up and eat as they had another reservation. They dont give us time to have a dessert or a coffee and they make us pay quickly. When we were all up ready to leave, we were told that the other reservation was going to stay at the bar after all and asked to sit down again. We kindly asked for at least one free coffee and we were refused! The least thing they could have done. So we decided to go and drink our coffee elsewhere. We will never set foot in this restaurant again! The gaps in customer service are unacceptable.

We went on a Saturday to celebrate a friend s birthday. We had a 2 hours window and we were 6 girls not enough time to celebrate properly. The rule should definitely be changed but mainly it should be written in big capital letters first thing when the reservation is made. Also you should consider differently a group of people vs. a party of 2 as it takes more time to order food and to have the plates served for a group. Other restaurants mentions the rule at the time of reservation or if not mentioned they don t have that rule. When you think about it the more we stay the more we spend Definitely the rule should be discontinued.

I m disappointed with the service we received at the restaurant. We were rushed to finish our meals for a reservation, they hurried my friend on her birthday, they didnt leave her the time to finish her dessert, and they didnt offer the remaining group the chance to order coffee or dessert. I m Very disappointed in the poor customer service from the floor manager that day, i won t be returning there for sure and none of my 8 other friends. We enjoyed our drinks, coffee and dessert at a different restaurant that night!!

The atmosphere was good, even on a Wednesday evening! Otherwise, the dishes were ok, nothing extraordinary, but not disappointing either. Table service could be improved, we had to ask to refill our water glasses several times. Parking: Parking may be more difficult to find in the Centropolis on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Yesterday my wife and I were accompanied by our child. And what can we say about this absolutely disastrous restaurant. A very long service, the food arrived completely cold and the fries were overcooked and almost burnt. Really unworthy of a so-called Mexican restaurant!!. Price too high compared to the competition. And to top it all off the waitress dares to ask for more to provide no diplomacy and a total lack of respect towards the customers. Came out really disappointed!!!

Their service was very unpleasant, since we arrived, we had to go find someone in the restaurant to serve us, the waitress left us the menus and when we ordered, There wasnt everything we wanted, and again we had to look at the menu to order. It took more than 30 minutes to bring us the food, the good thing is that we ordered some nachos (I recommend them). Apart from eating there, we ordered takeout and the meat was very skinny, you couldnt chew it, it felt chewy and the rice tasted spoiled, they didnt give us tortillas or sauces.The portions are not what one expects for the price.

The service was great, the decor is nice but we were near the door and kept getting a freezing draft. My spicy margarita was also very good! Unfortunately, the fish tacos were extremely disappointing as was the side of Mexican rice. Very little flavour, fish seemed under cooked in the middle and there was way too much cabbage without any sauce for balance. Will not be returning. I also do not feel well today and wonder if it was the fish, I stopped eating it mid way

Yesterday i went To have dinner with my fiancée. We waited like over 20 minutes to get our food not even once our server Cedric came over to give us any updates. Once were done eating and he handed me the bills. The fact that i gave 12% tip not 15% tip our sever Cedric said. The minimum tip its 15% i feel Like I was obligated to pay the 15%. Ive never knew that was a law. I felt very disappointed and disrespectful and no one should be force to pay tip if you dont feel the service wasnt up to your standards. That was my second time going and would definitely be my last time. And I would make sure to spread the words around so my close friends and family to not go eat at this restaurant.

It was okay. I prefer 3 amigos in general. When I see the benches where we are directly on the wood, I regret having come every time, very uncomfortable. Fortunately the food is okay, but nothing exceptional either

We have been here several times, usually for dinner. The enchiladas are great, authentic, and full of taste, have tried them all but our favourite is the tomatillo green sauce. Tje fajitas were pretty good, but after a round of nachos it was a bit too much for only 2 people. The burrito bowl was good but the chicken cobb salad was not well balanced. I have never ordered their desert, but have ordered some of their drinks, the sangrias are very good and light. The music was a bit too loud for our liking so hence the 4 stars on atmosphere

Amazing service! Fun atmosphere and decor. Food was pretty good for a Mexican food chain. Definitely way better than 3 Amigos.

Unfortunately even though the food is good, the service is just terrible. We got kicked out of the restaurant in a very classy way, saying that we have 1:45 hours to order and eat after changing tables 3 times! Something that does not live up to the reputation of the restaurant!

Chris was amazing, made the whole experience so enjoyable. Came here for a birthday and he made us feel super welcomed. 10/10 service, 7/10 atmosphere and 8/10 food.

Having made a reservation, they canceled our reservation for a 15-20 minute delay while we were looking for a place to park. We were late because there were so many people in the parking lot and it was impossible to find a free space. They said they called us but they had the wrong phone number down. I find it shameful that they deliberately canceled our reservation knowing full well that we had booked for a reason. They chose to give our place to someone who had not reserved even though we had priority.

I love the restaurant, good food, beautiful colorful decor, service the way I like it. The only downside is that the place is very noisy for a chat at the table compared to another branch. Parking: We are talking about a parking area common to the entire Centropolis complex of which this restaurant is a part. The place is popular and the parking lot is therefore crowded for a Saturday evening, even with an early dinner.

The only thing Id suggest is that the management be more professional. When a customer receives the wrong order and the waiter immediately assumes responsibility when it is just as easily the customer. Dont bring the corrected order to the table and ask the customer dead in the eye Did you change your mind? If this is a tactic to discredit hard workers or insult your customers, it is not getting the effect you think it is. Let it go, mistakes are mistakes and I had no hard feelings about it, until that happened. Dont let things go to your head. Respect your employees and customers even when things arent perfect

Les drinks étaient délicieux et le poulet bien tendre et savoureux. Un bon service rapide et efficace. Ils servent aussi de la Labatt 50 ce qui est un big win pour moi haha.

The prices of alcoholic drinks are exaggerated and ridiculous. A drink $12 a pitcher of sangria $55 + taxes + tip... The food is OK but nothing more. The atmosphere can be festive without which it can become chaotic and infernal because when there is a crowd or a group party it is so noisy that it is difficult to hear each other speak without having to shout and seem to be in club rather than a restaurant. There is not much parking space available nearby. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options but they are very limited in choice and offer very few condiments on the plates so we remain satisfied with our appetite.

I dont understand how there can be so much difference in food quality from the one we usually go in mirabel. The cheese covering our nachos werent even melted... The calamari wasnt cooked properly. The service was absolutely amazing though and the food arrived very fast. But the food was mediocre at best. Wont be returning and go to mirabel instead, its only 18 minutes from there.
