The real owners sold a few years ago and the restaurant was taken over before covid. Following the takeover of the new owner, the restaurant closed for 2 years after several complaints of poor cleanliness and the restaurant was able to open again thanks to original owner. Lately the pizza was delicious but that didnt last because he seems to have sold the restaurant again. Yesterday I ordered a pizza and I found it very disgusting....already the content is cheap for price exaggerated. The taste was terrible a pizza reheated in the microwave would have tasted better. You really dont know how to make a pizza.

Normally I never give a star but here I am going to do it. I ordered a pepperoni cheese pizza. Normally I always order Vimont pizza because in my opinion it is the best. One of my colleagues advised me to try Ciel Bleu. This colleague told me, you ll see, she s the best. Okay. Well heres why the one star. I ordered at 5:52 p.m. the pizza arrived at 7:48 p.m. Its a bit long, isnt it? It s three exits from where I work. I called the restaurant because I was still a little hungry two hours later. The manager the owner or I dont know who told me dont worry shes coming soon its normal theres traffic. Ok but lets see two hours of traffic at three exits I dont think so. When the delivery man arrived I was a little sarcastic I admit. I told him I grew old waiting for you, I hope you are not lost. He answered me very stupidly but I attacked him first so thats not the point. He told me it s not my problem if there s traffic. I told him I hope at least it s warm. He told me that s your problem. Yes. Not strong but good. I told him I had asked for utensils and condiments for the fries and salt. He answered me very stupidly, its not my problem if you dont have any. The pizza was cold the fries very cold no utensils no salt no condiments. I gave him a tip anyway. But a little compassion from them would have been appreciated. Example, they call me to apologize and they offer me drinks for my next order. Just an apology would have been enough. So sorry but I will never give you money in exchange for food again. Pizza Vimont will be forever. You missed your shot on this order. I do not recommend this pizza place Vimont is the best.

Very old restaurant. It smells old and has a cigarette background considering it hasnt been repainted in decades. The food is ordinary. The poor waitress who was alone for the entire restaurant on a Friday evening was doing her best. Very kind and always apologizing for the delays and thanking us for our patience. I wont go back there.

Ciel Bleu is the restaurant of my childhood. Almost every weekend my parents went to get a all-dressed pizza for dinner. But things got worse for the establishment over time. So much so that a few years ago (before it closed), the food had become downright disgusting. This was my first visit since its recent reopening (with new administration) and I am happy to say that the food offered is of much better quality. And then the lady who took my order was kind and courteous. Problem number 1: 5:40 p.m., Saturday, there was no one in the dining room apart from an elderly couple (freshly renovated room, I must point out), but I still had to wait 12 minutes for my order. 12 minutes at dinner time. The weekend. With almost no customers. A young pregnant woman who had called for a pizza was also forced to wait there for an additional 7-8 minutes. So speed of service, not quite on point. Problem number 2: I ordered a special Ciel Bleu poutine with pepperoni, green pepper and mushrooms. And I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The poutine was rich and tasty, even slightly spicy (probably because of the presence of pepperoni) and the regular portion completely satisfied me. But very very very little sauce. Obviously, I would have had more (because I was told it was tasty) but honestly, I barely tasted it. Two small hiccups... one star less. But clearly, good job by the new administration in bringing the quality of food up a few notches.

Small neighborhood restaurant that doesnt look like much. The menu looks ordinary, but wait until you taste the special Ciel bleu pizza! Never seen an all-dressed spaghetti pizza before, but its worth a try! Its hearty and bursting with flavor. The service is simple and warm and the restaurant is clean. To try!

The waitress shuffled worse than a card game

Good administration is back!! My partner and I saw the restaurant on Uber and we decided to try it again (It was by far my favorite pizza until about 2 years ago.). Poutine, Submarine and all-dressed pizza arrived at the house and it was so good that we really ate too much (Theres pizza left and its taking all my willpower not to keep stuffing myself). We are really happy that it is back to the way it was (although we will probably start to gain weight and become poorer by recommending again and again.). 6 stars!!!!

Blue skies are a classic. The pizza is always good there. The poutine sauce is very different but so good. As for the service, unfortunately, as nice as Chantal can be, it still took over 20 minutes to come take our order while 2 other employees were chatting at the counter. As Im no longer from the Laval region I wanted to go there, but it was clearly my last time.

Zero service in addition she sold me fries even for an animal we cannot give it and for the Pizza not cut into slices I had difficulty taking them to eat. I do not recommend this restaurant

Ordered Vege and cheese pizza, the food was great, generous portions and great prices. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommended it.

Reopened with new owners in 2024 - pizza still really great, juicy as it was but now crust is even better - tastes like great bread. The sizes are more standard, they no longer offer 18in pizzas, but the 16in was enough for our family of four w/ a large caesar salad.

We had take out Pizza and Chicken Wings today. I have to admit that it was really good. Im definitely gonna order from there in the Future. Thank You Food

The two government inspectors really did not like what they saw on January 6 at the Ciel Bleu restaurant, located at 437 Cartier Boulevard West, in Laval. A judge also condemned the restaurateur for his uncleanliness last July. This is the sixth time he has received a fine in three years.

Since they opened this Sunday, I ordered some souvlaki dishes for my colleagues at work today. Everyone, including myself, loved the food and the delivery service immensely. The fries were great and the souvlakis were seasoned perfectly. We will definitely order from here for our dinner again!

The Ciel Bleu restaurant, which is located at 437 Cartier Boulevard West, was also fined $1,000 for committing the same offense as the fishmonger. This fault dates from June 16, 2022, but the judgment was rendered on April 6. The place had already closed its doors at that point.

I found that $25 was a bit expensive for a small pizza with extra mushrooms. With inflation, and being the best pizza in the neighborhood, I didnt mind. I am very disappointed to notice that they charged me $2.70, without warning me, for the little sauce request. I have been ordering and eating at this place with my grandparents since I was a child. I am speechless. I know $2.70 isnt much, but Im asking for less of something. There is no additional labor required for this. The delivery man was very nice, as was the person who answered the phone (although he did not inform me of the extra for the minus ingredient), unfortunately I will now order from the other place not far away on Cartier which currently seems more honest to me.

I have been eating at this restaurant for at least 35 years. But lately the service is bad. The food is always good but the prices are much more expensive than what is listed on their online menu. Delivery is very slow, 1 hour or more and thats at any time of the day. But what put the final nail on the coffin was that after an hour and a half of waiting, they called me to tell me that they had a delivery problem, that my order still hadnt left. and they can do it again for me, I think they forgot to do it at the start. Thats it for me with Ciel Bleu, I will never recommend again.

Their Pizza is decent, however they completely rip you off. I ordered online and I was quoted 22.94$ then the delivery guy arrives at the door and its 25.25$. I get that its only 2.31$ however its completely unjustified, why the prices are different? Its unfair to your clients. You either need to update your website or charge your advertised price. If I were you I would not order from these people who are absolutely unaware of consumers rights. Charge the price you advertise!!!

The food! What can we say about the food! It s just delicious and their spaghetti is a must-try! Too bad the delivery is EXTREMELY long. Any time it requires 1 hour minimum to come, but in unusual times to eat. But given the number of reviews that talk about their delivery time, I think they are ignoring us and that will never change... too bad!

Best pizza but worst service ever the receptionist that took the order had no respect for customer service. I don t know what the owner told her to do when they give the wrong order but it seems there s no procedures in place. She told me (its not my fault. I can t do anything) I don t even know if the restaurant knows what consumer rights are because apparently when you receive the wrong order, the only thing they can offer you is a 5$ credit on your next visit for a 35$ order (what a joke!!). She continued arguing with us that she couldn t do anything more than that and even says that we probably didn t say the right order on the phone and basically returns the blame on us, which is false because our order is well written on the receipt , its the cooks that got it wrong. After arguing for 15min with her saying she ruined our dinner plans and that we need the original order delivered to us immediately, she caved but obviously with the worst attitude given to me by any company thus far. Ive been ordering food from different restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic and when an error occurs they always refuse to take back the food for the health and safety of future clients and the staff and give the right order immediately. When they asked us to give back the wrong pizza to the delivery man, i was shocked and really wonder the safety of the restaurant if they take back food from strangers during a pandemic!!

Is there still a good independent pizzeria left in Laval? We were fans of Ciel Bleu in Laval des Rapides, but the change of ownership has made this flagship of the neighborhood for more than 30 years an ordinary pizza.

Good pizza, crust not too thick and crispy, generous Greek salad

Not worth the price..I ordered a burger last night..hiii kind of frozen meatball from Wal Mart. It was disgusting..the pickle was disgusting. Zero trustable cabbage salad. Even without eating everything. Like 1/4 of the plate. I was sick this morning.

I will be very honest the new owner Benoit is a friend of mine and he is working extremely hard to remove the bad reputation of the restaurant in the past of poor sanitation and especially the quality of the food now the restaurant has top quality food and works extremely well on the delivery side but on the other hand the interior of the restaurant is not very busy at the moment because in the past when Benoit took over the business he had to clean up the employee side and he didnt give much for the moment but I can swear to you that you are missing something because the priority of the owner currently is to offer the best quality of food we will not hide it that the restaurant in the same place would need renovation because who knows old but for the rest I can guarantee you that this restaurant offers you top quality food and the staff is really friendly please try it again and help Benoit to be able to go further because he deserves it I repeat the delivery is really very strong but if its you like to stop by the area, go and enjoy the restaurant, you wont regret it thank you very much to Benoît for offering the best to his customers but on the other hand if you call for delivery you have a long waiting time

Recently, I placed an order for delivery and I still havent received my meal 1.5 hours later. I call and they tell me they forgot to process my order. Anyway, I canceled my order... This place used to be the best for pizza about 3-4 years ago ! Today I ordered a pizza and it took over 1h to get here and that s only 3-4 blocks away ! Used to be a great place. Just got there at 20h4, was told they closed at 20h30 because of covid. Everywhere it says 21h30. Owner was smoking at the counter, they ignore me for 5 min until someone else enter and they rudely told us they are close. They could update there website, put a message on there message box, update Google, whatever. Both doors where fully open, even the open sign was lit. I know theres a new management for sometime now, and I really dont like how it has become. It used to be a good place, but not so much. Im afraid how clean this place is with the owner or chef smoking behind the counter at the bar, which is totally illegal. What else is hidden in the kitchen. I wont go there anymore.
