Hello very disappointed

Our favorite restaurant! 5 star service, delicious food, generous portions. We were there Thursday evening December 5, 2024.

We get what we pay for. Cordial service but a little too hasty, almost stressful because its so fast. Very noisy though!

Very good. Fast and courteous service. All that would be missing is an espresso or cappuccino coffee machine.

I received an almost charred souvlaki skewer. I told the waiter that I didnt want to eat my skewer so cooked. He picked up my plate not too happy. After at least 20 minutes, he brought me back an almost full plate of salad without rice or potatoes which arrived a little later. Not too strong in terms of kitchen service but as to be expected its Old Duluth. I would love to never set foot there again. If I have a choice. this is my humble opinion...for life!

Very disappointed to have had two tables for a reservation without having been warned. I would have booked elsewhere had I known. The food is good though.

I admit that it had been a very long time since I had set foot in one of their franchises, and it was not my choice, it was a reservation for a cousin for a birthday and therefore my expectations were not that high...I was pleasantly surprised, the broiler chicken was excellent. apart from the noisy atmosphere (the ceiling is high, it resonates a lot), and perhaps the potatoes were quite ordinary, everything else was perfect

Always a pleasure to celebrate a birthday at this place. Remember to cancel your reservation if you dont go. People are queuing, it s so good

Very good...very nice place even more so since it was renovated almost a year ago but I havent been there since!!!! Yum I recommend it and the delicious backlava

The food is up to the standards of the entire chain; nothing to complain about on this side. We had to wait (2 people only) for a good twenty minutes before we realized that we had gotten a table and also, in order to have the bottle of wine opened. Additionally, we were placed next to a table of 12 people (elders), and my boyfriend and I almost had to shout to talk to each other. I know its a cheap place except that the dinner was ruined atmosphere-wise. By the way, we were at Vieux Duluth on Marcel-Laurin. Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

We had dinner some time before on a weekday. Everything was perfect, food, service and we had a table for 2 by the window. It must be said that it was not too busy. Yesterday, we returned there for 4 people. We arrived first so we were placed at a very poorly located table. Just a few minutes later, the seat next to us becomes free. We asked a waiter who seemed to be a supervisor if we could take the place. He tells us yes and that they will clear the table in a few minutes. And there, the young man from the beginning comes back and asks us to clear up that we cannot take this seat. We tell him that the gentleman (and we show him) told us that we could. He insisted that we change places and then my husband said an angry word #$%#@%, we were just told that we could take the seat. Yes, he shouldnt have sworn...but that wasnt against the young man, but rather his cavalier way of treating us contradicting his colleague. He tells us We dont tolerate people who talk to us like that, please get out we say well lets see, its not towards you, but the situation. He escorts us towards the door. Ive never been so humiliated in my life. The restaurant was crowded and other customers were waiting. So we werent important. This kid should have just said to us, Listen, Im going to see if we can change you of space and not shouting at us saying: No, you cant stay there... and he said I wont serve you, please leave. He escorted us to the exit. Never has that happened to us arrived!!! . We didnt want to create a scene, since we were waiting for 2 other people. We went elsewhere where the service was impeccable and the meal was delicious. what customer service is.

Birthday dinner with family, chose surf&turf. For a rare time, the filet mignon arrived a little undone. Normally the filet mignon is round, mine was not, I unfortunately kept it, I should have turned it but I took the chance to keep it and I stuck solid, the steak was full of nerve and I had to remove inedible bites several times. Excellent shrimp but small for the price. Very disappointed!!!!! Well find better elsewhere next time. No longer recommend this restaurant which seems to reduce the quality of food.

Kind, helpful waiters, they even accepted my special requests for food, and whats more, they gave me a free meal, perfect atmosphere, we can get along and the seats are very comfortable, excellent food, thank you for this wonderful evening! Parking: Very large and well located parking lot with easy access! Kid-friendliness: Yes it is perfect for children there is even a menu for them!

Perfect value for money. Friendly and very pleasant service, courteous, smiling and welcoming staff. The delicious skewered or oregano chicken and the waww bread, hot and melting in your mouth. Just pay more attention to the missing hand liquid toilets and non-functional hand dryer machine.

Very good food and good service. However, much too lit compared to the last time I went there. It ruins the mood. It feels like a big cafeteria.

The waiter was very mixed, we served everyone at the table together, not just one person, very annoying, uncooked shrimp, cheesecake with 4 forks, Sunday caramel, 4 scoops with 4 spoons, weve never seen that, were not going back.

Noise level a bit loud during dinner time this could have been controlled with the addition of acoustic panels on the ceiling to absorb the sound of clanking dishes and loud talkers. Dinner tonight with my 2 sons. We each took a Surf and Turf. 1 filet mignon out of three was not good at all, the other two were OK. My 9 year old son is sick and I, having tasted his filet mignon, am also sick. Severe stomach ache, intense nausea . The server and the manager on duty never wanted to reimburse us for the $43 plate. No empathy even putting us in doubt... Of course the experience is sincerely unpleasant with a condescending attitude towards us. We will never set foot there again. Attention!

Food is pricey and not great but not bad. Almost no parking at all, had to part in the mall next door and walk 10 mins. Good service!

We all got sick, my 4 year old boy vomited his entire meal during the night and the adults during the night and the following day.

Before covid we went there once or twice a month. We start to return to the restaurant. Your service is nowhere near what it once was. The staff serves us and talks with other waiters and they have fun with our plates in hand for over an hour as we wait for our meal. The quality has declined significantly. Regrettable because we loved to visit for our birthdays. As we passed, the lady next to us arrived at the same time as us; she had just received her meal following several requests for chicken on skewers.

The cook doesnt understand the orders. Turned the steak twice. He ended up burning it by covering it with sauce.

Having not set foot there for several years, I was pleasantly surprised. Copious plate, always with the same taste, in a renewed decor. And our service was exceptional.

My family and I been going there for a decade now and it never failed us once. This restaurant really has a cozy atmosphere and the food is phenomenal! The service does not disappoint as well and the price never really changed after 10 years! Would recommend 10/10

Nous sommes allés hier soir, nous étions 5.Notre table était déjà prête même 30 minutes avant. Nos serveurs ont été vraiment très très gentils. Dimitri et Alex, une équipe de feu . The chicken on the grill was undercooked in 2 places, the flesh was pink. I informed the waiter who neither offered me a new plate nor offered me the meal. He offered me dessert as we were leaving. Paying for raw chicken, Ill think twice before going back.

Correct nothing more. Not enough to go back... The service is very very slow. Potato rice and meat not very hot, we started cooking the skewer again which was not as requested when taking my order. Expensive for the quality.

The waiter never came back to see us after receiving our meal. Lack of sauce, we had to stop another server, very very long to get the bill. I waited at least 15 minutes.

Still for me the best chicken skewer in town, the portions are reasonable. The most kind and smiling staff thank you for the good meal.

I just want to say that Ive not eaten in this restaurant in over 10 years My experience back then wasnt very good Thats why i never returned But Now i was curious to go back and give it another chance So im reading the reviews and im finding that theres more bad reviews than good So i dont think i will give it another chance. Unfortunately, while the food is great, service is a big priority. Our experience this evening shows us that this restaurant has lost its feathers in this area. We waited 1 hour 15 minutes to be served, while all the surrounding tables (some having ordered after us) were. We ask whats happening (three times) and are told it will happen soon. We used to go there often in the past, but we no longer recommend this restaurant specifically for the poor service.

The service and the local was very good. The food was plentiful and nicely presented. Unfortunately that day I decided to have the New York steak and found it tough and nervy. On other occasions, I was happy with the souvlaki or butterfly shrimps.

They also have 3 salads, very boring to my taste, and a childrens menu. They have good prices for the abundance of the dishes. As you are closed for renovations, we went to Vieux Duluth in Terrebonne. Old restaurant, waiter looking stupid and incompetent, food not up to par, etc. Please hurry to reopen because we have always been very satisfied with your restaurant. Long live Old Duluth in Laval!

Me and my parents were waiting 35 MINUTES to be seated. People were passing by within the 30 minutes. When we asked if we could be seated again. One of my parents asked if we could add a table of two and add one more seat. The waiter declined saying it would be too tight. Next time be organized and dont waste peoples time.

Its the second time, that the manager had a bad attitude, we can never eat there, this time I kept waiting to be seated and he passed everyone after me, we had to leave after 45 min
