Food is really not that impressive but it is still tasting good. I am developing here since the restaurant has asked for more details. The decoration and ambiance is really nice, I like the fact that the tables are not next to the other. It gives some privacy. Regarding the food experience, I have ordered the lamb gnocchi and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was good. However I was disappointed by the gnocchi. I was expecting something more tasty regarding how is advertised Les Enfants Terribles and the prices. To add to the excessive price, I noticed that the endive, roquette and fromage bleu salade is 14$ more if you want it with duck. It doesn’t seem fair.
I came here for a business lunch on a weekday. I ordered the kale chicken salad, and I was quite disappointed with the dish. Firstly, the salad was not served with kale. It was instead served with soggy romaine lettuce (so the dish description was not truthful). Secondly, the chicken was rubbery and chewy (it tasted like frozen grocery store chicken that was heated up). Lastly, I was pretty disappointed that there was pretty much nothing else that came with the salad. It was just romaine lettuce, chicken, peanuts, and dressing. For $29, I felt like I got completely ripped off.
Truly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Ordered the braised beef. Dish was cold. 4 small baby potatoes that were undercooked. And beef that tasted and looked as if it had been pre-cooked. 39 dollars! Told the waiter food was cold. Dish came back 20 min later after it had been reheated in the oven. Any decent restaurant with integrity and pride in their food would have redone the whole dish from scratch. Or at least offered free drinks or the whole meal on the house. We paid full price! The prices are on par with fine dining but this ain’t fine dining. Far from it. When your food arrives 5 min after you ordered, it’s a major red flag. You can’t cook quality food from scratch that quickly. In sum. There is zero quality control on food here. Which is evident from all the other reviews. It’s absurd that professional chefs would put out this kind of food and label it fine dining.
I was in the mood for oysters. These are miniature. Not worth it. See picture next to mini fork. Most were smaller than that.
Despite multiple attempts by the cook to prepare the steak correctly, it took three tries to get it right. While the final result was satisfactory, achieving a blue steak should not have been such a challenge. The service, however, was commendable. The restaurant offered to cover our drinks and provided a complimentary plate of chips while we waited for the correct steak. However, despite being told all drinks would be covered, only a part of our drinks were paid for – specifically, the wine ordered for the steak, not the cocktails. The staff's visible disappointment matched our own frustration with the situation. Although the third attempt had the right level of doneness, the quality of the steak itself was still below expectations. Additionally, the facilities were lacking; multiple stalls in the restroom had no toilet paper, which further detracted from the overall experience.
The food was good but the service was poor. First, they did not come to take our orders, we had to call them over to us. After they served our food, no one checked on us or asked if we needed anything. Ww had to continually get their attention and ask for our own service. We felt like we were not guests at their restaurant and we didn't exist. We felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I went there with my family, with 2 young kids and spent over $100. Yet, we were not satisfied at all. If you are looking for good service, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
disappointing food overall. bland, dry, missing spices. its ok, but wouldnt rate this restaurant as delicious. service was on and off, took 3 attemps to bring me the right side i ordered with my main. server was great though and apologized and offered a drink for everyone. terasse is beautiful, great location in the middle of centropolis.
Since I went to the one in Ville-Marie I had high expectations from this restaurant. Though, let me tell you that I was not impressed with the food: first off the calamari entree is a rip off! 17$ for a small plate… the burger was ok, has better one less luxurious restaurants. The service was mediocre and the waiter could not do math when it came to explaining him how to split the bills, he did it three times and still didn’t get it. Other than that, the restaurant is very clean and has a unique decor. I was actually more impressed by the ladies bathroom then the food. Impeccable and nice scent. Unfortunately for me, I doubt I’d be going back.

Aesthetically, nice restaurant but the service was slow and disorganized even though there were only 7 tables occupied. No atmosphere, no music. Correct food nothing more. The lemon fennel shrimp was good, though. And the Jus de vie mocktail too. And there is the view of the illuminated roundabout. But in terms of overall experience, nothing to do with the downtown Montreal branch.

Cétait pour mon party de bureau. Le service etait parfait, vraiment très impressionnant. Les à côtés étaient délicieux (bouchées, entrées, entremets, dessert était vraiment bons) mais le repas principal (salade de canard confit) était pas mauvais mais vraiment trop salée et pas top, pas à reprendre. I am a minor and the servers took advantage of my naivety. Basically, I was given a dish of only 4 shrimp even though it was not my basic dish (they made a mistake in my dish) and I still had to pay. In short, although it is not necessarily a restaurant for my age and I should not really go to this type of restaurant, I strongly advise against going there.
We had salmon tartare and tuna tartare, both delicious! The small salad was succulent. The service, correct. Our server was a little harsh, less my type in a restaurant... the cost of the bill was completely reasonable. Vegetarian options: Target icons with leaf, several meat-free options.

The atmosphere is superb, the restaurant is really beautiful. But on the culinary side we expected much better than that, especially depending on the price range. Lack of seasoning makes it hard to reinvent traditional dishes. We really liked the mocktails.

If you dont like coriander, this is not the place to eat it. The salad dressing is delicious. The presentation of the salmon tartare was very beautiful but the accompanying chips were greasy. I asked for rusks to replace. The pudding chômeur was not fresh. The service is a little rude and the atmosphere is cold and noisy. Les Enfants Terribles in Outremont or downtown are much better and more accommodating.

Superb preparation and presentation of food (gazpacho, burrata and foccacia, octopus, macreuse de boeuf that was similar to what you can order in a Paris bistro (cant figure out how they got it so juicy and tender)). Very welcoming and professional service that was always there at the right time. Spacious and contemporary surroundings. We would come back if we are in town again and recommend to our friends.
The atmosphere is really nice but the food is disgusting, I ordered a seafood dish and it had no taste for around $34, its not worth it. The people serving were ok but not wow.

We were on vacation and looking for one of the best restaurants and we found this one because...they told us the other one we had in mind was bad in terms of food. We went to this restaurant and the disappointment with everyones meals was unbelievable. There was nothing good, not even lemonade. For my part, I ordered the steak fries. I dont know what it was but the steak was too small and there were a lot of potatoes but apparently they were overcooked as they tasted burnt. We also ordered starters of squid rings and this one was more or less. If you want a view, its beautiful, both inside and outside the place. Excellent service, everything arrived on time. But I gave it one star because the food was terrible. We vacationed and stayed at one of the best restaurants and encountered this... because our habits say that the other ones we thought would be bad with respect to the food. We dont know if the steak was too small and it was a lot of papas pero al parecer pasadas demasiado porque sabian quemadas. Nothing to say about the food. It was very good. But the service is erratic. The dishes took over 30 minutes to arrive. First of all, everyone is served, except my girlfriend. Unlucky, his beer arrived long after mine. My niece waited over 20 minutes after our food arrived to get her apple juice. And I had to ask again. The desserts arrive but not the utensils. My coffee arrives, but not the milk, although I mentioned I wanted it. Its not strong. It doesnt make me want to go back there.

We loved the place . Nice for conversations, not too loud, lots of light, food is great. Parking: Short walk from the parking since there is a part of the street in front of the restaurant that is for pedestrian only during the summer.
I like the setting and the environment is very pleasant. On the other hand, the food is not only expensive but also in small portions. Imagine that having an entry necessarily requires an extra.

Good music and beautiful decor, so nice group atmosphere, however the waiters were not very smiling and had little discussion. For the dishes, the majority of our group was disappointed with the quality-price combo because the seafood tasted little (some colleagues and I who are even fans of seafood) and only one person really enjoyed their dish.
From the reception (no one present) wait in the void 8 people at the entrance 10 mins enormous lack of preparation yet they have everything necessary outside to organize themselves at home not but prepare small plate - knife - napking - straw etc its not difficult and seems to me to be the basis in catering!!!!!! in short you need training - experience - organization you have to ask for everything and its boring when going to the restaurant should be an experience of relaxation and letting yourself be served but no service no return to the table no service a negligible lack of management and big time The wait for the kitchen was a shame because the dishes were excellent. I still gave 15% on principle but I dont deserve it!!!!! I have been in the restaurant business for 20 years and I really do not respect your establishment.

I will never return to Enfants Terrible the entire channel for fear of being disappointed like today. The worst experience of my life, both the service and the food. Before it was even good and pleasant, but now they changed the entire menu, the waiter said, and now its not edible. (not fresh, not pleasant taste) very disappointed with both the food and the service. Im going to be brief about the server because a bad server will give bad service and I dont want to take away from the fact that there were certainly good servers and one in particular was more alert and easy to get attention when we needed it. paid attention to us even if we were not in his section With our waiter everything went well until he brought us our bottle of ruinard (champagne) then he paid us zero attention we even made a mess he even watched us clean it he picked up our soiled napkins of champagne but brought us nothing more I even had to put a napkin on the chair for my friend she was dressed in white anyway the service was lousy and yet we flash maybe not but have to spend $500 in 1 hour . To start, the shrimp tasted like the bottom of the ocean, the most disappointing thing was that it looked appetizing, good size and everything. The dip just has no taste with strong D on top, not good in my taste. Second thing, the salmon tartare which I received was not edible. Served on a plate that was too large, the tartare was spread over the entire surface in a very thin pancake allowing it to become hot which gave it a very strong, not fresh fish taste, which is rare for normally fresh salmon. I even had zero reaction from my server when I mentioned the atrocious taste of my dish, not even Im going to go see him cook, can I bring you something instead, nothing, total indifference! In my opinion not fresh so I took 2 bites and disposed of the rest afterwards for fear of being sick. I even advised my friends not to eat it. Plus for a jalapeño tartare it was zero flavor. My friend had a Caesar salad that they tried to reinvent. It looks like they just put the hard and nasty pieces of the poorly washed salad which tasted like pesticides. The salad seemed to be only the white and hard cut roughly, probably washed very quickly. Yet in my opinion a Caesar salad remains a Caesar salad, like you didnt even have the classic taste of a salad yet why change something so simple and classic I find it absurd. My other friend ordered meat that wasnt even cut in the right way, it was blatant, he almost choked at each butcher they had to turn it on its side to cut it and chew it with less effort. effort, this may not be the fault of the cook or the butcher but lets be honest a good cook knows when the meat is well prepared or not. As for the dish I havent tasted it but if its like the rest it looks good but doesnt taste good. Me and my friends normally tip too much even if the waitress is just normal but today we tip less than normal. Finally I am not doing this review for compensation or to tarnish a reputation but I am exhausted from the situation the basic service could not even be accomplished I think there may be a lack in management and change of big mistake in my opinion. Plus the restaurant was empty inside and they had the audacity to make people wait outside to pretend they were busy, excuse me, but were not in a night club. On this a very transparent and honest review I hope it will be useful thank you sorry for the novel.

I asked a waiter to take a group photo of us, there were 8 people this Saturday, he just told us a moment and Ill come back to you... but he never came back... he didnt even like it that much the request and I have never encountered this indirect refusal in other restaurants. I dont remember his name but a waiter with black hair pushed into a ponytail curled into a ball.

Stopped in for lunch prior to going to airport for flight home. Food was quite good. I had fish & chips, others had chicken Caesar salad and risotto. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was quite nice.

3.5 stars.And for good reason!! Firstly my fried squid starter was so salty that I lost my appetite! On the other hand, I loved the plate of braised beef. I recommend it. The mashed potatoes were excellent, the broccoli had a subtle buttery taste. However, although the cooking of my piece of braised beef was excellent, it lacked a little taste. I dont know if its a lack of salt, pepper or spices but its really the broccoli and potatoes that saved the flavor of the main dish. Now the service was fast!! In less than 5 minutes we were seated at a table and hot rolls were at our table. The servers were courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is chic and semi-casual (VERY LITTLE NOISE FROM THE CUSTOMERS BUT LOUD MUSIC). I enjoyed the experience 6.9/10.
We fell in love with the beef tartare and the rest was OK (onion soup, brie & braised beef poutine). All of these choices were pretty lukewarm and not too remarkable. We werent in a hurry but if I had one comment to leave about the service it would be that our server was a little lost. He didnt ask us if we wanted to drink, he served water in a glass with a large piece of butter that I dropped in it, and it still took a long time before we received our meals in addition to having made an order error between 2 people. On our table of 7, we ordered 3 poutines and received 4. He took it back from us. We noted that our poutine was lukewarm and they brought us the 4th one which we sent back. I cant say the same thing about the enfants terribles of Nuns Island. Do we want to come back? Mhhh not sure.

We went to the restaurant for the first time and it will be our last. 45 minutes before coming to see us at our table, 2 hours before receiving our dish. No one came to see us to serve us some more drinks. The starters were good, but the meals lacked taste, no salt/pepper on the table and impossible to catch a waiter to rectify the situation. No table service and never the same server. Some people arrived after us and ate before us as if they had forgotten our order. I do not recommend!

We were seated quickly considering it was a Friday night and most restos were at full capacity. We had two people who tended to the tavle, both very quick to ask for drinks and take the meal order. I took the Cheeseburger Classique ($21) and added bacon (+3). It was good, but considering the restos menu is more haute gamme (the cesar salad was served as a whole head of romaine lettuce with the toppings, and generous amounts of bacon), I feel that the burger was more brasserie style (it was very greasy the the bottom bread was saggy and breaking apart barely halfway through). BUT it was actually very good, and you get the bacon you pay for. Nice place! I wonder why though, all the other restos in the area we went to were full, but this place had about 8 or 9 tables only...

It is almost the most prestigious and chic restaurant in Centropolis. Excellent menu, and excellent table service. We notice the attention to details and service. The only downside is that its a little too expensive $$$, while the menus are mini. :)

As for the food, it was good. The cocktails are good, but the dimensions are relatively small. Sometimes we have more ice cubes in our glasses than alcohol. In addition, it is very noisy, the ceilings are high and the music is loud, it makes a lot of echoes with the voices of the other individuals present. I went there for a birthday and we were very close with the other tables. Traffic was difficult, especially since we were in high chairs (already more difficult to sit on and get off). Table service was not frequent, we did not have water refills.

I had the pleasure of celebrating a wedding anniversary at the Centropolis branch, with a cocktail dinner formula, for 30 people. The managers Laura and Jimmy were of incomparable help in planning and running the evening. Chef Benoit prepared delicious appetizers for us such as arancini, chorizo pogos, mini fish & chips and the oysters were perfectly fresh! Our assigned server Simon was charming and attentive with the sparkling wines all evening. All the service staff were great and warm with the guests. Don t hesitate to book them for your next special event!!!! Thanks again from the Les Enfants Terribles-Laval gang!!!!
More like the terrible waiters, they ask us every 1 minute if we have finished eating to leave despite the fact that it took them 30 minutes to bring back our food, 25 minutes for the drinks and 25 minutes for dessert.

We frequent restaurants in Brossard, Place Ville Marie and Ile des S urs but we have never been treated so lousy (to put it politely) we left before ordering anything because it was so bad unacceptable ignored by the waiter while he was serving tables of people who arrived after us, he was very cavalier in his way of communicating to us that he would come back later so we left this service reflects very poorly on the whole banner not about to return to the Laval restaurant

Very disappointing: Fish and Chips not terrible, soft and very greasy breading, dry and lukewarm fries, the waitress present only taking orders and submitting invoices with an obvious disinterest in customer satisfaction. P.S: be careful on the terrace...a parasol fell on a customer during a moderate gust of wind.

The food is always excellent, they are accommodating with children, the menu has just the right amount of variety, the prices are reasonable considering the quality. Only one criticism, for which I will not remove a star: in the evening the sun can beat down really hard on the terrace while the parasoles are not effective at all with the low sun.
Caesar salad and ribs are not very good, service and atmosphere are good
Very expensive for the quality of food served, $42 for a lobster spaghetti which was dry and not very tasty and with little lobster Flank steak that tastes burnt and doesnt look like a flank steak but rather a cheap resort steak in the south... I find that for the same price we have much better restaurants with good products with simply more freshness and quality. Total bill of $300, but really not well invested unfortunately I will never go back there, but very good service and beautiful restaurant.

Our favorite among those already tried. We were looked at askance when we took our children to the Ville Marie tower, we were placed in an icy draft like that of the Nuns Island, but Les Enfants Terribles du Centropolis is so much better! Received like kings, warm atmosphere, delicious dishes, we could have applauded at the end of our visit. We cant wait to come back :)

Delicious food, unfortunately when we arrived it was more than 40 minutes for our server to come see us and offer us an aperitif. Once the waiter arrived, you had to order everything at once. The waiter never came to us to ask if it was to our liking. No hello or introduction, just a do you have any questions, ready? Completely pitiful service. Sunday September 24.

Nice vibes, good location and service, but the food was normal honestly, I ordered the cheese burger, and it was very standard, couldnt taste a unique flavor or something to set it apart. The fries were good, lots of oil, but well salted. My wife got the Atlantic cod seafood, also same, very standard taste, nothing too fancy or unique to make you wanna come back.
Well, its not the waitress fault but the food is subpar we got the Cesar salad but the lettuce still had the stems they were whole Romain lettuces with the stems :o. We got chicken added, it tasted like it is frozen and that it came from a packaged box with the grill marks. No one offered to cut the salads the only thing that was said was other restos do the same, do you want anything else? So basically frozen chicken with grilled marks is quality food.

Food was meh, place was busy and clean service was horrendous, servers kept hitting our chairs, some of us only were told that our food would take longer 15min after everyone else was served and only after we asked about it, they served us bread that was stale, decided to offer us pepper for our meal ounce we where almost all done eating (keep in mind some of us received our food a lot later then everyone else and they were still almost done by the time they offered to pepper our food... I will not be going back

The food was honestly so good, one of the best! The salmon was very great, not dry at all. The vibe is cool as well. But the service was terrible. The server kept rushing us. Everytime we needed something he had already ran off. He took the bread my friend hadnt even eaten. We felt like we couldnt ask for any help at all.

I sat at the bar. The service was exceptional! The servers are kind, welcoming and know their menu to perfection. I wish I could give the service 14 stars. Not to mention the fact that the dishes were excellent.
Really disappointed My fettucini pasta was so stuck together when I put my fork in to taste the pasta it all came together no taste..lets talk about the shrimp so small that I had to look for them. fettucini shrimp with white wine sauce ..the Cook has not the same recipe book as me for sure What can we say about the small main dishes, this is not where we say to ourselves on a full stomach when we leave the restaurant, no need to walk to bring down our meal... the exorbitant price for what it gives... us we heard more than 1 hour to eat starter at noon left at 2 oclock 5 minutes to eat so nothing on the plates so it didnt take long to eat. Table, fork/knife wrapped in a placemat, no salt or pepper, utensils garnished in any way.. All this to tell you that I have been in the restaurant business for 35 years and the restaurant where I work, not to mention the name, has become a 5 star in my eyes. Too bad I was so shocked I didnt think to take a photo
Difficult to eat at this place. It says its open but the kitchen is closed. One came on a Sunday at 2:00 p.m. We were told the same thing on a Friday at the start of the afternoon and on a weekday evening. Im never coming back here again. They have been short of staff since 2020.
It s a beautiful place and the staff is super friendly. The drinks are expensive, but delicious! The food, while not bad, is expensive. I took the mushroom pasta dish for $32 expecting a variety of mushrooms. The plate was small and although good, not very filling for the price.
