Amazing chicken, got the family special of 1 whole chicken, family size fries, and a salad for $41.95. The quality was excellent and it’s cooked over charcoal, very similar to Ma Poule Mouillée in Montreal. Will definitely be getting it again!

Chicken was good missing some flavor compared to other restos,but it was juicy..Salad and dressing was good and rice needed more seasoning.The spicy sauce on the side wasnt spicy but the mayo we got was seasoned and tasty with fries.Ordered the famiky special # 3 with a extra grilled octopus (tender cooked well but under seasoned.

What a terrific find in Laval! We had spicy grilled chicken and assorted meat plate with a very nice red house wine. The roasted meat with paprika was so delicious. Mum said she hadn't enjoyed a roasted chicken this much in decades. And for dessert a homemade Portuguese tartlet which was.perfect. Service was fab. Simple setting which was just fine. Thank you to all the staff.
Some of the best chicken you'll have in this areas. Char-grilled with a mild or spicy sauce topping. It almost tastes South American, and super delicious. Lunch special choices were chicken (light or dark), chorizo sausage, or grilled sardines, paired with pomme frites and a tasty salad. Had the breast and wing and the chicken literally falls off the bone. Parking is a little spotty but a public parking lot is about 200m away with a few more potential spots.
Very small restaurant. They give complimentary bread and olives which is nice. We were 3, ordered one plate of chicken and a platter to share. The chicken was good but very salty. Didn't care for the rest of the meat, the pork seemed a bit over cooked and the sausage was chewy so we really only ate the chicken. Salad and fries were good. Portuguese beer was also pleasent, but a bit pricey. Waitress was nice, but the guy who served our drinks kept poring a 7up while looking at it and didn't stop until it overflowed on to the floor and served the glass sticky with no apology or offer to bring a new drink since the glass wasn't full. Very bizarre.
The service was not impressive because it took a while which we did not mind thinking we will get the great food and fresh. we ordered a lot but the chicken was very dry and half of the plate was rather burned. my family went there before and said the chicken was not bad (when an older gentleman cooked it). next time we would rather go to Romados in Montreal. pricey for the burned dry chicken if you ask me

Very good grilled chicken, the salad is very good, Im even surprised about the salad because most takeaway salads are normally ordinary. Unfortunately the potatoes are too fatty for me. I happily recommend this small restaurant located in Sainte-Rose Laval.
I ordered the pork sandwich (bifana) via Uber.. honestly, the Best Ive eaten in years!!!! and their Natas, to die for! the crispy dough and the creamy creaming! I dont regret ordering more Natas.

This was our first order from this restaurant and we were very disappointed. We had the whole chicken with fries and salad. The chicken was very small and very dry. The salad was also small, not very garnished (a few slices of onions and 2 slices of tomatoes), the fries were good. There were 2 of us but we were still hungry! Very disappointed!!

First visit today. On the site food is being served we got there and there is no dining room. I ask for a menu. We were hoping to have a nice sit in meal not a chance. In the menu the bifana was 6$99 so we ordered 3 for take out. They gave me a menu showing 6$99 and charged 11$ per sandwich. Lousy service the woman didn t even apologize. The bifanas were okay

Nice appearance of the cooked chicken, normal portion despite the quite high price, hot sauce (oil) should be packaged in better containers(the firmness of the lid is not effective(it leaked everywhere everything was oily), not a place where eat if you are disdainful (room not clean and Ill leave it to you to imagine the other places like the kitchens), this place requires a complete remodeling Fairly high price for the overall quality.

We just paid $76 for an overcooked and dry chicken that looks like it was reheated yesterday, fries, 2 sardines and an arm of octopus. The piri piri sauce is expired and dripping from the bottom of the pot. Very disappointed. First and last time.

Disappointing
Very small and cozy restaurant. The food was excellent as well as the dessert (try the tartelettes) and the staff was nice. The chicken is definitely the thing you want to take here very flavourful. However i took the ribs and it was still amazing very tender. The only thing would be that it was a bit cold because it is a small restaurant and it was pretty cold outside but that s just me nitpicking otherwise pretty amazing, i find it quite hard to find a good chicken restaurant in Montreal or around Montreal but this one definitely deserve a try.

Worst restuarant ever, I have never seen any place charging you 1$ for cutting your own birthday cake so u pay for the number of cuts u want . Then if u want to share your food with someone else u have to pay to share with your friend !!! So dont share your food or else you get charge! lol

This is an authentic hidden gem! It is a small kinda family restaurant with great service and a really amazing chef. The food here is the most yummy tasteful that I have tried in my whole life. Home made salad dressing out of this world, seafood and meats incredible delicious. If you are in Montreal- Laval, dont miss the opportunity to eat here.

Whenever Im in Montreal on a business trip, I make an effort to eat here. Its a family owned restaurant and the food is amazing. I usually order the ribs and chicken entree and it never disappoints. Ill usually have the shrimp appetizer and save the sauce for the complimentary bread. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy with clean restrooms. I most definitely recommend this place if you want authentic Portuguese food.

I happen to see a review on Facebook and felt compelled to reply. I am a frequently flyer and I love finding little gems of good food all over the globe. Brazas happenes to be one of them. The real authentic Portugese resto serving only Portugese wine and beer to accompany the delicious food!! Now to address the review I read which by the way had nothing to do with the food, but with a seating arrangement. My message for these people... 2 people is a table for 2 everywhere you dine in the world especially when the place is busy Have respect and dont criticize if you havent even eaten the FOOD!!! Maybe try to go out a bit more!!!!

I like to go there once in a while. Good Portuguese chicken. Normally, I have a family meal, spicy whole chicken or not with salad and fries. Suitable for 3-4 people for almost $30. If you want to order takeout, the waiting time is very often 30 minutes. I recommend. Enjoy your meal!
