I went there with 2 of my friends. I was not disappointed with the service. Very nice and welcoming waitress. Service A1. Atmosphere and decor: it s really what you think it s going to be. A good Quebec restaurant from the 90s. Thank you. In terms of food: I thought it was going to be good but nothing more, but I am pleasantly surprised. It s really good! They knew how to surprise me. smoked meat order lean meat, the thickness of the fat that I had to remove is disgusting! When I called them, as usual they had a reason (because its been 3 times that I havent received what I want to eat). Im tired of thinking 50% the food will be good! 7 years ago the food was good...but now everything has changed! I advise you to go elsewhere!

A very warm atmosphere. The moment we enter, we feel the effect of the warm welcome offered by the employees. The quality of the ingredients available in the kitchen are fresh daily, at least thats the impression I got! The flavors are just right as well as the quantity for the price. The wait does not exceed 10 minutes for the meal to be prepared and the waiters are attentive to our needs as customers. Nothing was missing from my order and I didnt have to repeat myself or have to look at the time. The customers seemed happy to be present. This restaurant bears its name with pride and is an institution of the quality that Restaurants should offer, something that seems to be lost in the vast majority of restaurants that I have had the opportunity to review. I have only nice things to say about them, which is exceptionally rare, for those who follow me in the comments that I took the time to leave after my visits. So there you have it. THANKS! Dietary restrictions: If you specify, they will be able to meet some of your criteria. I can confirm that they have lactose-free dishes.

Last time I go to this restaurant. I was charged $8.50 for 2 small cups of cream cheese, as big as ketchup packets:$ They only offer 2 cups for a bagel, which doesnt cover half of one, so I ask for more. The waitress should mention that were being charged for the extra and that at that price, its a steal. Despite everything, the food is good. You will lose customers by charging so much, for something that should be included in the dish. And finally, I asked to change the potatoes for a salad, I was offered 2 slices of soft tomatoes never seen before.

For the meal to share, fee of $3. Friendly meal, quick service, not too expensive. Parking: Not much parking space.

Quite disappointing. After ordering several times I am told that I live too far away. They agree to deliver and the delivery man tells me its far away. Anyway, they just have to say no. And I forgot a small container of bbq sauce, 1 ounce for $3. This restaurant is in my memory. Parking: No idea it was a delivery

Im really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant and the service was zero fast the main course I like temp that the soup and between the poutine one of the worst Ive eaten the fries no better the children either we dont really like them meal I dont think Ill go back Parking: Glaze without salt or sand but it slips

The Hawaiian Pizza was excellent!

A small restaurant discovered several years ago under another name and owner. A return to the area for the day. Still as good and pleasant as a place

The breakfast potatoes are now very ordinary, large cubes with almost no seasoning, the small pilled potatoes which were my reason for going there have become non-existent apparently because of a broken machine (message from the waitress...) In short, I wont go back there again, I really loved these little potatoes. Damage.

Their subs are the best, but really average service. Every time I call, they put me on hold and end up hanging up on me. You call back 2 minutes later and he hangs up directly without answering after one ring. If you order on skip, you may be on hold for more than 30 minutes before confirmation (if they end up accepting it). In short, yes good food but the restaurant makes so much money that they dont need more customers. If youre last minute to find dinner, look elsewhere.

Le Cartier is THE family restaurant in Laval! They have a lot of variety in their menu, sometimes too much (you dont know what to choose), but no matter the dish, its always good. Its classic diner food, but its quality when youre craving a club sandwich! Hahaha! And what about the staff? During the pandemic, my partner and I often ordered Cartier food on Skip, but we were so happy to be able to go back in person: the servers there are so friendly! And their fries smell so much better in the dining room! Very happy that this restaurant is still there! :)

Best restaurant ever. I come here with my boyfriend everytime we visit Montreal. We are obsessed with the submarine. We think about it from time to time when we re away. We re here now devouring it and this made our entire week. Best souvlaki in town too. Please pay a visit. You won t be disappointed.

Wow! SO GREAT! Very best pizza you will EVER EVER eat! The food is deliciously big portions. Waitresses fabulous! Owner is the son of orig owner and still makes his own sauce and pasta. Unpretentious but excellent cuisine. Video machines in back. I can still taste the multi layer pepperoni all dressed, fish n chip, pasta.....OMG Id better stop. Go there!! A great find. Fab breakfasts, too!

Quick and friendly service, with a huge menu... There were 7 of us who all had different things and not one thing to complain about. The portion sizes were also fantastic. We actually went to eat breakfast late in the day, which it said it was supposed to be served till 4 we got there just before 3:30 and we were too late. Now, thankfully the dinner food didnt disappoint, and I guess Ill just have to go back for breakfast another time.. at a normal breakfast time... Which doesnt hurt my feelings either as we were already planning on going there again! Parking: Tons of space for parking Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids too!

Litsa, the waitress is simply adorable. Smiling, warm and efficient. Me and my boyfriend talked a lot with her. There was an error with my partners order, she did what was necessary to correct the situation. For her and her service, it s a 5 star. The food was good and the price ok.

Im leaving the restaurant and I think it will be the last time I come there because the waitress informs me that when I last more than 2 hours its a problem (Ive never seen the restaurant half full), because I always come with my computer, I go and do that in a café. She tells me as she casually places a cup of coffee in front of me, I didnt ask her for coffee. I find this quite limiting as a way of addressing a customer who comes to your restaurant every week. I come there every week at least once or twice. I wasnt particularly surprised that she addressed me like that, because she is always a little borderline rude with me. I noticed it on several occasions, she is the most small in build maybe the oldest, everyone else is always courteous, I have never been rude to her, when I came back once after forgetting my headphones, and suggested if it was possible to take a look at the video images to see if anyone had picked them up, she told me directly that there is no one who has time for that and she left, I I asked the same question to one of her colleagues who replied that she was going to ask the manager if it was possible and the manager reminded me that they will try to see even if it was not found at the time. The way she responded to me was so unpleasant compared to the attitude of her other colleague. I dont give the restaurant a bad rating, because I like the food, the service (when its not her who has to serve me) and thats why I come back regularly, I just hope that a manager will see this comment.

What a bad experience. First and last time at this restaurant. First of all, the price is way too expensive for small portions with bland food. My smoked meat was tough and 4 mini slices wow. I ask for decaf coffee... But they dont have any, only instant?! Additionally, we witnessed our waitress being more than hostile with customers. Indeed, it was obvious that French was not the familys mother tongue and she was visibly irritated and stupid, especially with the child who had difficulty in French, who simply asked her if the dish came with chocolate. . Totally unacceptable. Then when it came time to pay. We waited a good while with our coats on our backs to get the bill. It should be noted that the restaurant was quiet and not many customers. The waitress NEVER came back to charge us. She was chatting behind the counter or doing something else. Finally I got up and she watched me walk out. No reaction. My partner was still waiting to pay. Still no news from the waitress who really didnt care. Finally, my partner got up after a wait that was really too long and not justified, especially since she saw me leave. He paid at the counter because the lady never came back to charge us. I had to go back into the restaurant to see what was happening because it took so long. Real rubbish.

The food is super good but the attitude of certain waiters and delivery men is questionable and needs to be improved, when a never-smiling delivery man complains that the tip is not to his taste with $2.00 for an order of $17.00 or that the waiter is rude to you. snatching your ATM card from your hand, telling you that you dont know how to type a card and then realizing that you are being charged twice...

Really a good and beautiful restaurant. This is not my first visit and I have always eaten well here. The eggs are cooked to perfection. The bread is excellent. The meats are tasty. The perfect crepe. The pizza that I have already eaten there was also very generous and succulent. Very efficient servers with good team spirit.

Im going to file a complaint, there was a waiter who told me that they didnt want to serve black people.

I loved the service of the waitress, very kind, to whom I finally asked to take the second plate and who took the initiative to warm up the dish and toasts a little before packing. I would have liked to have jam for the toast, it was not served on the table by default. For the taste, the vegetarian omelette was good, but lacking a little salt and onions in 2cm pieces and crunchy (for those who like them that way). Maybe the ketchup was used to enhance the taste of the omelette. Bravo to the waitress otherwise to whom I add a star .

I ordered pizza ..loved,loved, loved it!! Fresh ingredients, the sauce, dough, very tasty. It reminded me of grandmas pizza. The only negative is the delivery. It takes waaaaay to long. Over an hour BUT it was worth the wait.

First time at Le Cartier Restaurant and now have a great go to place for the best pizza in Laval. The steak sub was delicious and the service was super friendly and efficient.

Became The typical restaurant of the neighborhood on rue Cartier. Formerly Le Pinocchio, it gradually took advantage of the famous Ciel Bleu (one kilometer to the west) in the casual dining niche. We return there for its convenience, its numerous and comfortable benches and tables, but perhaps not for its table. We still find something there. You feel well received there, especially if it s Julie who serves you. She is dedicated to her banner and knows her customers. In this impersonal age, she contrasts positively with the average and provides exceptional service. She and her team are worth the detour and my feedback.

We ordered take out and were disappointed. For the plate of chicken tenders ($15.95), 2 out of 4 of the pieces were very small. As for the club sandwich ($18.95), the sandwich was poorly assembled and the proportions were not balanced. The fries were very good, but the coleslaw was not edible. For $40 worth of food, we felt like we were being cheated and its sad since we all work hard for our money. A little pleasure of simple restaurant food, wasted. The lady who served me at the cash register was very nice and welcoming, we left her a $15 tip.

We had good service. A small problem with one of the plates, but the waiter was quick to sort it out, so I gave him a 5 star for his service. The dishes were filling and delicious. The rice in the two dishes we had were cold so I took off a star for that, and the salmon was a little overcooked for my taste. But still it was very delicious! Thank you for the great experience!

There is no way to go wrong when choosing an option from the menu. Everything is so tasteful and the portions are really good for a good price. Also the people working there are the best. Kudos to Harry, the best waiter! They also have delivery and follow the best practices for serving with care during this pandemic.
