Great experience

The food was excellent our waitress was also fantastic. She was polite, funny and super friendly. As a first time experience, it exceeded my expectations. The only thing that was made it a four was the music volume was so loud, I could not speak to my friend. It felt more like a night club than a bar. Vegetarian options: They had a variety of food options; lots of fish options if you are pescatarian. There salads were exceptional for a bar place. Parking: There is parking out front, though limited. Not sure of there is a parking lot or space around.

We ordered a flank steak, it took an hour before we received the dish. The waitress made up for the wait with a free dessert. Customer service is 10/10 but the wait for the pats was long. The flank steak was too salty for our taste but the fries were really good. Delicious cocktail. Very nice atmosphere. I loved every music that played. I recommend, but I would try another dish next time.

There were two of us, the food was good, well presented and fresh and large portion. The decor is magnificent, great music but a little loud for a dinner. The waitress was very nice but the service was ultraaaaaa long, as much for bringing water, drinks, meals and especially the bill! No real table service to validate if everything is correct, if we want to recommend something to drink or eat, we werent even asked if we wanted a dessert or a last drink, so its a shame on that side. Now I know, I wont have any expectations at this level if I go back! For a $$ code: 1 main course, 1 side (mac n cheese), 2 starters, 3 drinks it was $196 before tips.

A good place to be on Saturday night, it never misses

A perfect midweek dinner! I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening, and the experience lived up to my expectations. Kitchen : The steak was cooked perfectly, exactly as requested (rare in my case), with exceptional tenderness and flavor. The fries were golden brown to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The little touch of homemade sauces really enhanced everything. Special mention for the accompaniments the vegetables were fresh and well seasoned. Atmosphere : The atmosphere was peaceful, ideal for a mid-week dinner. The decor is elegant but welcoming, and the soft lighting added a nice cozy touch. Service : The staff were attentive and cheerful, without being intrusive. The dishes arrived quickly, but with the right timing to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Value for money: For the quality of the dishes and the service, the price is completely reasonable. A great option for meat lovers looking for good value for money. In summary, an excellent address for a casual but tasty dinner. I will definitely come back, perhaps to try other cuts of meat or a dessert that I wasn t able to try this time!

Ive come to visit several times, always excited to be here. Everyone is incredible, this evening I was lucky enough to be served by Anakim, incredible I love her, she set the bar high for my next visits!

We had the Wednesday special, steak and fries and let me tell you that its pretty ordinary :( ridiculously small portion of meat, 0 particular taste and the fries are really nothing special. The chimi churri sauce was really not good unfortunately! it looks like crushed and tasteless spinach :( On the other hand, the cocktails are good but expensive, $20 a glass :O! The waitress was super nice! No need to run because their steak is pretty good for the price. Proof that you shouldnt rely on online influencers for recommendations!

Good food and courteous service. We came on a hockey night and the presence of police with flashing lights on was a bit offensive.

I went to the Westwood for the first time on Wednesday evening November 13 and I will not go back. The atmosphere and decor were great, nothing to say. At least, although the waitress was courteous, the service was VERY slow. There were only 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant. The wait times to place the order and receive our dishes were extremely long. The food? VERY cold when I arrived at the table, I didnt even finish my plate. The price? Affordable. Bavette + fries which is usually $43 was on sale for $30 that evening

no parking and no more valet. I went back and asked the waitress for an option. She was poorly dressed and stupid! The restaurant was empty at 8:45 a.m. and the table that I had specified had been allocated (the waitress replied that there was another place). We canceled and went to Mme Bovari

The first issue was the parking for us - a staff member gave us a ticket for parking and advixed us where to go. parking was closed.. parking is not ideal in the area. The food quality was great - a tad pricey I felt the staff was rushing us... every min asking us if we are done, if we want anything else.. cleaning our table.. we definetly felt rushed. Not sure if management changed but this experience was different from my first time.

Firstly, it s super expensive for the portions. Two of us were a group for a party, I asked the girl on the phone to let us have the table for more than two hours because we are a group and we had starter, meal and dessert + alcohol. She told me no, but that she could give us another table elsewhere for fewer people, because some members of the group were going to leave. We eat our meal and we are asked to leave the table, because the other reservation arrives telling us that they have no other tables to give us. We didnt finish eating the meal, we wanted to have desserts, sing happy birthday, alcohol etc and we didnt even have time. The manager told us to go ahead and eat at the bar... they ruined my party, I went to lots of restaurants and Ive never seen that honestly... really disappointed

We have a group of people who will never return!! Which restaurant only has 2 waitresses to serve customers!! This is a downright mockery of customers!! Extremely long and several invoice errors!! Very ordinary food I took the salmon, no flavors! Pumpkin puree, a real joke, is more of a squash sauce! For other guests, hard macaroni, hard meat. What came with the meat, 2 small carrots!! No, really dont go to a restaurant to waste your hard-earned money on an owner who completely disregards customer service and your precious time. Go sooner to Sergilino opposite!!!!

My birthday evening consisted of an excellent tartare and a nice cocktail. The rest... I waited an incredible amount of time to place my order. Impossible to say a word to my partner because the music is so loud. And for heaven s sake, get another DJ ! This isnt a campsites chip shop! Brief. Bad evening.

We went for my friends 19th brithday dinner. The place is very pretty but thats where the good review ends. We had a wheelchair user in our party and were told ahead of time that the place was wheelchair accessible and it would be no problem to accommodate her needs. This however is not the truth. They made no effort to find us a table that was wheelchair accessible and said they could lift her over the stairs like a bar mitzvah- how humiliating. It was only when we threatened to leave (making them lose out on the revenue from a 10-top that they realized they could throw us in the back. We were APPALLED at the horrible service we received. Additionally, it took us 30 mins to receive our drinks when the place only has 4 tables in it. The waiters and waitresses were not good and did not check on us. I will never return because of the service. How disappointing. Rude and inconsiderate staff. The best part was leaving :)))) Oh and the mac and cheese was vile, dont waste your money it was inedible.

The atmosphere is good. Our waitress was friendly but I hate being served starters and main courses at the same time. The purpose of the starter is to eat quietly. There we had the squid as well as the tartare at the same time. If you want to eat quietly dont go to Westwood.

So the vibe is really nice the dj is VERY VERY COOL AND HAVE GOOOOOD MUSIC . BUT the food wasn t too good. Btw half of the menu was not available??? And the salmon lacked flavor. No salmon tartare.. the beef tartare seriously lacked taste too. The fries are good, the cocktails are passable. Our waitress, a blonde, was super nice and nice.

I m not even the type of person to leave negative reviews but this has to be my worst dining experience ever when it comes to the service. We waited over 2 hours and a half to get our drinks/food. Waited an hour before even getting asked what our orders were. About one hour and a half after ordering, they tell us they just ran out of calamari and ribs. Had they taken our order earlier, we would have been able to get the food before they ran out. We asked for water over 4 times in the span of almost 2 hours and were constantly ignored. I had to physically get up and find the waiter to again ask for water, for which he answered it s really chaotic, I ve been looking for water this whole time. How do you run out of water? How are you looking for water for almost 2 hours? At the end, when we got the bill, we were still charged for the food items they ran out of and never served us. Had we not paid attention to the bill, we would have paid for meals we didn t even receive. The only positive about the night was the dj and the food actually tasting good. However I have nothing good to say about the service. It seemed that there was little to no communication between the staff. I hope this was just a one time thing, as the restaurant itself is lovely.

I went there with a group of 12 girls for a bacheloret party. The service was impeccable. Thomas the manager made sure we were comfortably seated. We had a more private section in the back which we liked. Laura our waitress was very sweet. The place is beautiful. We loved the vibe, the Dj was playing a lot of old school hip hop from the 90 s (can t go wrong with that) and reaggaton although we d appreciate other genre throughout the night.. Over all it was a very good experience.

Easily one of the worst dining experiences Ive had in my life. They split up our reservation of 8 into two separate tables, essentially nullifying the reason to celebrate a birthday with a group dinner. Terrible service for our tables, we waited 1.5 hours to receive our main courses such that by the time we actually received our food it was 10:45 and the restaurant had already transitioned into a club. We sat down at 8, had our orders taken for mains at 9:15 and only received our steaks at 10:45. Waiting 1.5 hours for a steak is simply not acceptable especially at the prices they charge here. Its obvious they have not taken into account the previous reviews or tried to improve on it: you will wait easily over an hour to receive anything you order. However, they are quick to take your order for their expensive and watered down cocktails so perhaps they can use the same energy when it comes to the rest of the service.

On February 2 we went to dinner, the bartender charged us twice the bill, she took my contact details since she was too busy to reimburse me and she told me that they were going to call me the next day. They never did, so I called back and they told me to come to the restaurant. They are only open Thursday to Saturday from 6 p.m. and I also work in catering, so I work those days. I have called 11 times since then, left 11 messages on the answering machine, no return calls. My boyfriend went back with friends and they also charged double, they had the same experience as me. By far the worst customer service I have seen!

I ordered a bottle of wine which turned out to be unavailable, yet 10 minutes later I see the same bottle served at another table. The waitress pretended not to know that there was any left. When I asked for 15% compensation payable by card for this error, she initially accepted, then when it was time to pay, she informed me that the manager had changed his mind and demanded payment in cash, forcing me to use an ATM with exorbitant fees. Despite my frustration, I left a 13% tip, but the waitress complained that the minimum was 15%. I responded that it was crucial to provide correct information, especially after having to pay $50 more for another bottle. A truly disappointing experience! English: I was truly disappointed with my experience at the restaurant. The food was good, but the wine service was terrible. Wow wow wow!! What an experience on this Sunday in March before the Don Omar show! I was served by Jonathan, and let me tell you...what flawless, exceptional service. I have 15 years of experience in the restaurant business and I was amazed by his approach, his expertise, his knowledge and his charm. Despite his young age, I am the one who has a lot to learn from him!! Congratulations to the Westwood for your organization as well as your careful choice of employees, because in summary, good food can be found at several addresses everywhere, but servers at this level are rare gems that make all the difference . Very disappointing service! Rose Boudrias lacks respect and yells at her customer following an invoice error on her part! We ask him to speak to us with respect! She warned all the bar servers not to serve us! My friend asks for a glass of water and she doesnt want any waiter to give us one! She is angry with her 10% following her lack of respect! Very disappointed and frustrated to have been treated and served this way!

Whoever wants to go to Westwood, please read the reviews as they are extremely accurate. Service is one of the worst things ive seen in the past 23 years in the restaurant industry. I think any restaurant in the entire country can serve people better. Food is actually very good! Menu had a ton of errors but the fold was actually great. Restaurant looks nice but from the servers to the manager makes 0 sense. Whoever is the owner and or investor, please hype it as much as possible and sell it cause this place is not going to last 2-3 years. A mid-size group that spend $800-$1000 in food for a birthday was given a zig zag shape of table and we had 3 pregnant ladies but the manager said they dont care as the other tables are reserved for people who come and party later at night and we specifically mentioned at the moment of reservation that we wanted a good spot because of these reasons. They give us plates and glasses all dirty or wet and you havent even finished estimates and they throw us our bills and the kick us out. All waitresses and manager, remember your positions and thats the best you will do but none of you are c-level in anything here, thus calm down and do your job properly, thats why you all get pay to do. 0 respect to clients and the service is extremely long. Its so sad because the place and food looks nice so i think the best thing and real workers there are the cooks and chefs. All the rest, a grocery store worker (no disrespect to the career) can do all of these jobs 1000 better and the ROI to the business will be way better. So sad to see a business that recently opened doors going down so quickly.

My friends had a birthday party there at the beginning of January, and the food was excellent! The cod impressed me, and what about the drinks, they were very good too. The atmosphere was great, especially the music which reminded me of my youth in the early 2000s. The decor is also very beautiful. I really liked it, but the only small problem was that the waiters werent very cheerful. I highly recommend this place despite this.

The atmosphere is good, the restaurant is beautiful. On the other hand, one of the worst service I have had! We were made to wait 45 minutes on a bench, even though we had a reservation. We were finally seated at a table, even though we had reserved at the bar. No service! You had to ask for glasses, utensils, napkins, EVERYTHING! It also took so long for someone to come and take our order. After eating, we were quickly asked to vacate the table without being offered seats at the bar as we had reserved. If you can avoid it, dont go there!

Reservation was pushed an entire hour and a half where we were forced to wait around standing. Once we sat down, it took another 40mins just to order food to which they explained that 3 items on the menu were out of stock. After that it took another hour and a half to get our food and in fact two members of the group did not even get their food. Waiter was useless. When eating dessert we realized that there was hair in the brownie. Embarrassing.

Went to westwood to celebrate my birthday and had a table of 15 people. The waiter Thomas was very pleasant and patient. The food was ok its best to go for drinks and appetizers and the dj was on point. All and all I had a great time will definitely be going back

Be careful with your coat, my boyfriend just forgot to take his coat and the next day even though he had his locker room ticket in his possession, they no longer had his coat. They probably gave it to someone else.. frustrating

Very nice place cool ambiance but for a place that charges so much for their dishes i was expecting much much better. They specialize in steak but it had no flavor along with most other dishes taken within my group, the only things that had flavor had some sort of sauce on them. For a well renowned place i would also expect good drinks but I really wasnt impressed at all. Would I go back to this place most probably not.

I wish I could have given 5 stars. The food is so delicious!! Its an upscale lounge/ restaurant so the prices are on the higher side, rightfully so in my opinion. The music and vibe are great... but... The service is excruciatingly slow on a Saturday night. It was unbearable. Our waitress was so sweet and accomodating, as much as she could have been, it could have made up for the slow service, but we were too hungry. I got a migraine from the wait and we left shortly after our meal and didnt get to enjoy the lounge aspect. It was my birthday too so it made me slightly more disappointed with the experience. Also our group was on separate tables. We were not informed in advance of this or else we would have went elsewhere. Ill have to do a redo birthday dinner, because it just didnt hit the mark at this restaurant.

Went with my husband and another couple, expecting a very fancy restaurant, by checking the menu on the net before going. Many things were missing, no cream, no sugar for coffee, no ice for certain cocktails, my drink came very bitter and had to return it. They brought another one half empty. Dessert, not much. My husband asked for a brownie and there was no more. My friend found a bone in her salmon and the waitress said it was OK The other three of us, ordered steak and it was not good, Im sorry. The sauce was disgusting. You have to pay for another kind of sauce. Very disappointed of the experience.

We had booked online then confirmed by phone and as soon as we arrived last Saturday, we were told that it was two hours tops to eat and then we had to leave the table, and that all the other places were reserved. This information was never communicated to us beforehand. It was my party and unfortunately for me, we didnt even have time for dessert! For some members of our group; This was our 2nd visit and we had a lot of fun eating, drinking and dancing the first time. This time was not only disappointing but enough to unanimously decide that no one from our group of 7 will return! The service was poor and the waitress 0 attentive. Despite our bills varying between $250.00 to $400.00... We were relocated to a closed bar section with no atmosphere! Really avoid at all costs.

Phew, what a disappointment.. I honestly had high expectations for this restaurant and I am so disappointed. At the price of the plates I would have expected really better quality. As a starter we had fried squid and tuna tataki. The tataki was OK except that it said with marinated cucumbers on the menu and there were none on the plate. The squid was so stiff and rolled in the mouth.. Then for meal, we had the black cod and the strip of beef. I choked on a super long bone in my cod. Also it is listed on the menu with this meal seasonal vegetables and there was only rapini on the plate. So a nice $44 for a small piece of cod with 3-4 branches of rapini. On top of that, the dish tasted absolutely nothing. When we told the buss boy about the edge when he picked up the plate, he replied ha ok. » instead of apologizing or trying to find a solution to compensate for the inconvenience. The steak was anything but tender unfortunately (rare cooking as requested, but it was really difficult to chew all the same). The side vegetables were as tough as if they were raw. The extra fries were good at least.. The waitress was good at least, she often came to see us to see if we wanted anything else. In short, for a total of $300 for 2 people we are really disappointed, we expected so much better. We are fans of good food and good wine and unfortunately we will not return to the Westwood with this experience.

I had booked 1 month in advance for my boyfriends party, we were a group of 12 people, the reservation said that we had the table until 11 a.m. When we arrived he told us that it was until 9 a.m. and not a minute more and the manager looked stupid and ruined our evening and otherwise the food was ok

I could have given 5 stars but I give 4 because the group menu really disappointed me and also disappointed all my guests. I went to the Westwood for my birthday on March 18th. Since there were several of us (at least 17 people), we had to take a group menu. I chose the $85 one and frankly the portions that were shared between 4 people were disappointing... The tartare that we were served, I normally eat that alone. I find that for the price we pay, it should be bigger for us to be satisfied. I have to tell you that we were all very hungry afterwards. Otherwise, the atmosphere was perfect! I had the mezzanine and it was great. Our server Thomas was excellent too. So I will come back to the Westwood for the atmosphere and to have a few drinks but the food, I will think twice.

Dinner with friends and night out

Great first experience at Westwood Bar & Grill! The service was really good and fast! Our waitress was superb and super nice and came by quite often to check on our table. We had the fried squid and Korean baby back ribs for starters. The crab cake (lobster for that day) was ordinary since the fried rice cake was cold and soft, but the filling was good. The dessert was sooo good! The apple crustade was delicious. The music and atmosphere was great! Recommended for a date or a birthday. Service: 4.5/5 Food: 4/5 Ambience: 4.5/5

Food was good, music was great but service was extremely slow. Took 1.5 hours to get my plate and the staff was taking shots and getting wasted. Its a shame because this place has great potential and the lack of professionalism ruins it.

Highly highly overpriced menu for food that is mediocre. Ordered the salmon at $32 and the plate involved an absurdly small piece of salmon over a green salty sauce. That was it. Fries are Costco style and of a small portion for the price. Go there if you want to throw money away and stay hungry. Very disappointing. Food

The white waitress was at the edge of harrasing us to eat fast. She obviously isnt made for that job. One can feel the only thing getting after is a tip. Food was well made but I expect a descent amount for more than a 100$ bill. Good thing is the free parking. Rest of the staff is fine I feel. Overall for that kind of service I dont suggest it is worthed. The manager has to take matter on hands and speak to that waiter girl. It take one person to destroy the whole effort of many and the devotion of the owner.

Several of us got food poisoning following our visit to WestWood. I ate the carpacio as well as the beef tartare, I do not recommend it either for the taste or for the effect afterwards.

We booked for a group of 12 and the service, food and ambiance were wonderful. Thanks to Giulio, the excellent bartender, Jo our outstanding server and to the entire organization. We will definitely go back.

Disappointing. Evening with colleagues to start the holiday season, we were very eager to try the Westwood and had planned to spend the evening there unfortunately really disappointing. Very nice decor but the restaurant was almost empty, little atmosphere. The worst is the service, the waitress was really stupid and her service was very ordinary. The presentation of the cocktails was far from being as in the images on the networks, one person in our group found a piece of glass in her aperol, she replaced it without apologizing. Half of the wines on the wine list were unavailable and she didnt know her wine list, our wine glasses were dirty and she never came to serve the wine. It may seem trivial, but she placed the steak knives with the blade towards us, she never came back to see if we were satisfied with our plates, we asked for the desserts, after naming them, she did not come back ask if we wanted some. She dropped off the bill and stood by, eager to get paid. All the employees including the manager spent more time drinking shots than waiting tables. We concluded that she is a bar waitress who serves strong bottles, but not worthy of a restaurant of this price. For the food, it was good but nothing more. Not the most tender filet mignon. We really find better for the price. Too bad we wont go back

You book in October for your Christmas staff party on December 9 at 8 p.m. and he calls you at 7:30 p.m. to say that you wont have a reservation. No respect after he complains about no reservation shows . No respect for their customers

Nothing good to share

Service was bad. Really disorganized. Didnt validate our parking. Rushed us to eat, giving us the bill while we were still eating. Waited an hour for my appetizer. With such a small menu and such high prices the food should have been better than it was.

I was for my birthday and we were 20 people we ate very well the group menu was very good and there was a large quantity, the music was good and the service too, if you go there ask for Janie as Very friendly waitress!

Low quality steak...hard to chew on.

I went there last Friday with a couple of friends. There was a bit of a mix up with the reservations, but it was cleared up very quick & we were seated at our table. Let me tell yall this place lives up to the HYPE!!!! We ordered the tomahawk steak which was delicious & the cocktails were on point. Lets not forget the dope DJ that had my girls & I jamming to 90s music all evening. Overall, this resto is pricey yes, but that is because the quality is there. I dont typically write reviews but I was so impressed & will definitely be back soon!
