Overpriced. Staff were nice but overwhelmed. It was a zoo. Nothing special at all about the steak and grilled veggies I had. Plain.

Great atmosphere! Thanks for everything. I loved my lamb chops; and the semi-cooked chocolate.

Very slow service, we arrived at 6 p.m. then the service started after 8 p.m. (group of 12 people all arrived around 6:30 a.m.). One of the waitresses unprofessional with her service, for a steak house. The 3 fisherman plate is not worth it. It tastes extremely buttery not to mention that there is also a dip of butter on the side, unused. The plate of octopus was delicious except for the large pieces of pepper on it which spoiled the taste (I packed them). The soufflé is not really a soufflé (lava cake style) but it was the ice cream that was the star of this dessert.

Ordered the 75$ ribeye and it was a huge disappointment, it was very dry and lacked taste. On top, the fries were really basic. For the price, I expected a lot better. So not recommend and will not be going back.

I have been to Sterling several times to celebrate special occasions! I have always had good service and quality food! I love their steaks! It s always delicious! I put a photo of the last one that I took with the sauce on top! Yum Otherwise, the service is always impeccable! I recommend for business, birthday party or dinner for two! You need to prepare a budget of $150-$200 for two! Ive never left here without spending less than $100 for two!

Restaurant looks nice, however this is the 3rd time I went to this restaurant and not impressed with the quality of the food. Food took very long to come. Service was slow but the staff was friendly. My filet mignon was very chewy it was not cooked medium rare. A tad disappointing with the price you re paying. Won t be coming back. Also keep in mind there s no changing table for kids and no kids menu. Kid-friendliness: No changing table for babies/toddlers. No kids menu.

We got served by a waitress named Sophea. First of all, she took forever to bring our entrees which was a ceasar salad and Calamaris. She asked us what we would like with our rib steak, she gave us the choice between French fries, mashed potatoes or baked potatoes. We took baked potatoes (she ended up charging us a fee of 3$ more the plate, already the rib steak was at 75$ and not worth the price). This waitress showed up to our table maybe two times in a 3 hours stay. When the time came to pay the bill, she pressed herself the 15% tip without even asking me. I was shocked and didn t know what to say this is the last time We were to step foot in this restaurant. She is not honest to her customers and very impolite!

Overpriced for what it is because the service was insanely slow and mediocre at best. I really felt like a bother to not only our waitress but to the whole staff as well. Overall, I was disappointed :/

First and last time. No sense arriving at 8 p.m....our table (have to be reserved) not ready..but when I say not ready...its not ready...they went to look for a table at the front of the restaurant and put us in an uncomfortable area! Poor service...4 times asking for water its bad...my glass of water tastes like celery salt...waitress...well the worst service Ive had. I didnt feel...like a customer should...I dont recommend.

The service is incredible and the place is really beautiful, but the food, I was a bit disappointed our plates had no flavour at all, everything was very simple. We left almost all our main dishes and we packed them to go!

My kids took me there for my birthday. Prime roast beef au jus was amazing. Best I ve had in a long time. We were 8 adults and everyone enjoyed there dish. Waiter was superb. I rate this my favorite restaurent. Pricy but worth it. Highly recommendable.

Steak was good but not exceptional as I was expecting. Oddly enough the bread was surprisingly good I had to finish it all. And the bonus was the chocolate soufflé, what an incredible dessert I had forgotten about. I came in late at night, not long before closing time, never felt any pressure to finish quickly. Great staff.

They charged us a bottle of wine twice. I called to make the claim They told me to introduce myself. Arriving at the restaurant my niece was received with contempt and the amount was taken back with sewer. So she had come to beg. I find it very regrettable for such a great restaurant to react in this way.

Well unfortunately I have to give a bad rating for my experience at Sterling Saturday October 5, 2024. It was a birthday dinner with more than 25 people. My husband and I arrived at 8:00 p.m. Around 8:30 p.m. a person (I wont say the name he did his best despite many errors and delays) took our orders. There were two tables he took orders from our table only. (Once again he is alone in agreement but no back up to help the person in question????) 9:15 p.m.: NO glass of water was served. The cocktails ordered earlier and the bottle of wine were also not served. 9:50 p.m. Glasses of water have been served. In the meantime: Many questions were asked on several occasions by the person who had taken orders as a result and so on . 10:00 p.m.: Cocktails are finally served. Amaretto ( ) Litchi Martini ( ) Around 10:15-10:30 p.m.: Meals were served lots of errors and omissions Bottle of wine finally served after meals .. For take-out meals, we lost the take-out meal to one of the people who was on our table . Lots of errors on invoices. IN SHORT it was a SUMMARY of my unfortunately bad experience at Sterling. We were kind, patient and courteous. But it was very long, and too many mistakes. I didnt like my first experience at this restaurant and it will be my last. This comment is for you to improve yourself, not to play the victim or be oversensitive. Sincerely.

I went there for a business dinner and honestly I would like to highlight the outstanding service of the waiter (Nathan). He is attentive, friendly, literally flamboyant, we loved him! The food was excellent and everything was served quickly without stress or rush.

We were a group of 19 family members. It was surprising hard to get a reservation for a group that large on a Sunday night in Laval but Sterlings was happy to take us and provided a large rectangular table in a semi-private area that was perfect for the occasion. Everything was wonderful. Food was great, service by Dino, Chanel and Nathan was extremely attentive. All the main courses were served at the same time which is something for a group that large. We will definitely return.

Went there with a buddy of mine who was in town from Winnipeg, was one of our best steaks weve ever had,my buddy couldnt stop raving about it. Food was excellent and dessert was fantastic,best cheesecake weve ever had.Service from Nathan was absolute top tier,it was an absolute pleasure being served by him. Looking forward to going back,my go to Steakhouse from now on!

2 days ago my parents and I went to Sterlings for dinner. My meal, the filet mignon with brie was delicious and the portion was generous. My parents were also delighted with their dishes. The atmosphere was perfect and a special mention to our server Nathan. He was super polite, professional and friendly. He knew how to elevate our experience. I highly recommend! Parking: Large parking lot for Centropolis.

The Lobster in the lobster rolls was hard to chew. Fibrous and rubbery. The small frozen fries of insignificance not worthy of a large caliber restaurant like this one. The coffee was very good, and the apple pie too. The place is beautiful and big. Seat a little hard Good service but long waits; Approximately 45 minutes from time ordered to receiving plate. Place full of potential but the most important has not been achieved; good food. I should have had something else like the hamburger or a salmon fillet with mashed potatoes.

Clam chowder to go: $20 including tip. What a disappointment!! very liquid, no consistency, 3-4 small pieces of clams, a few cubes of potatoes, that s it! with several crackers (pieces of toasted baguette, too hard). Its not worth the price! Ive had better, hearty chowder with 8-10 clams and more potatoes. Very disappointed

Nice place, I went there around 1:30 p.m. on a Tuesday and it was deserted but the employees took care of us, I recommend this place.

This was supposed to be a good restaurant , booked table of 6 people a week in advance. We were put in a tight tight spot , the server barely brought us glasses or water , the food took 1 hour and 38 minutes to come , the food was awful we left 5 plates as they came , at the end we were billed over 400$ for an awful experience.

Exceptional steaks in a nice atmosphere. Great place for a date or special occasion, or just to enjoy a good piece of meat. Waiter was so attentive and welcoming that I was surprised to discover that he was not the owner. I have many food allergies and they were very carefully considered and accommodated. I plan to return many times.

100 dollars for lobster claw rolls only, nothing else in the hot dog bun, dessert and a WOoW non-alcoholic beer. In short, I should have had steak...since the reviews on it are glowing...1 star to rebalance the score!

DO NOT EAT HERE! We were a group of 17 people who went out to celebrate my great grandmother s 90th birthday. 5 of us got horrid food poisoning. My mother called them the next day to complain and the manager was trying to convince her that it was impossible that the food we ate gave us food poisoning. He took her number and said the owner would call her and he never did. Other things to note: Their prices were ridiculous for what they served and the restaurant was basically empty. It should have been an indication. We had 3 waiters, 2 of them were very clearly inexperienced and looked lost most of the time.

Second of all You should SERVE your customers RESPECTFULLY AND KINDLY and not see them as a nuisance especially when we didnt do anything that was bothering you guys We dressed and behaved appropriately I dont get the problem here We received a bunch of eye rolls On top of that the impatient staff wanting us to leave as soon as possible (The restaurant was half empty btw and we only stayed 5 mins after the bill came in) Oh yeah Steaks were mediocre and really dry Uncessarily expensive feels like a scam And Im a huge steak guy Tried many good steaks in my life This place Was MEH I could definitely make better ones and I know a handful of better steakhouse that are WELCOMING

Next time I feel lazy Ill think twice because 200$ later all I got was a lousy overcooked and sauceless dry burger, there was an attempt at grilling the entrees of grilled squids, two drinks and another average drenched hamburger steak. The fries were bland just like the ambiance but at least the meat quality was decent and portions were generous. Do yourselves a favor and think twice especially if what you crave isnt a steak before going there. Oh well.

We are greeted with a gracious smile followed by first class service by our waiter Dino We were proposed lamb and acquiesced. If the lamb was perfect and bountiful we would claim they were angelic lambs from Grillade Paradise and presented by saint papa Dino. I had higher expectations, ordered a medium-rare Delmanico steak, but it came as medium-well, same for my colleague, he ordered a medium rare Filet Mignon but it was medium. Service friendly but slow.

Oh dear, let me tell you about this incredible steak house I discovered recently! It truly is a meat lover s paradise. Their steaks are juicy, tender and perfectly cooked to perfection. And lets not even talk about their delicious sides and attentive service (especially Ophelie our incredible waitress) Its definitely a place not to be missed if you like good steaks!

On a Friday evening for a nice evening with friends we frequented this place on several occasions for the quality of the service and the food only this time was very disappointing the waitress in training is not starting her career in a good way lack of structure of the two waiters experience and several basic errors were made the starters arrived 15 minutes late the main courses the steak without a steak knife three different servers to ultimately give mediocre service very disappointed with this renowned address.

everything was perfect :-) First time at this restaurant and I understand why it was full for a Wednesday lunchtime. 5 stars

My husband loved his prime rib and garlic mashed, my Filet mignon was tasteless and my baked potato was not cooked enough, it had hard spots, crème brulée was a bit lumpy but flavour was good, will not go back way over priced you can get better at the Keg or Baton Rouge for cheaper

The food wasnt Wooow, we were with friends where we were sitting and we didnt like it. On the other hand, the waitress was very nice, kind, and attentive.

Horrible experience. They say they have the place when they dont. We waited 40 minutes and were never served. The hostess outfit is not appropriate for a restaurant showing their private parties which is unpleasant for a child to see.

Grilled octopus starter, a little hard to chew, ordinary in taste/small portion Overpriced for Linguini Seafood ($50 for medium shrimp and 2 small scallops, tiny clams without shells, in tomato sauce, a little dry, good taste though) and everything was lukewarm. Good filet mignon, (medium rare-overcooked) warm sauce and warm baked potato. The two meals arrived 3 minutes apart. This is a lack of professionalism. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this restaurant! I much prefer The Keg!

Not worth the price. For the taste, the respect for the cooking and the dishes offered there are much better elsewhere for less expensive. On the other hand, the portions are good.

The staff was friendly but the service was slow. It was empty on a Wednesday night. We were starving that the Hostess knows it and gave us extra bread because the waitress was busy with another customer. It took over 20 min to get our order. The chicken was dry, we took it back home. Everything else on our plates we finish. Overall, it was a ok experience.

Waiter oblivious to his surroundings. You would expect great service from a high end restaurant but guess again, service was horrible.. Waited exactly 1 hour and 14 minutes for main course ,regardless if we had informed the waiter that we were in a little bit of a hurry to catch a movie well we obviously missed the movie Sliders over cooked and dry, lamb chops burnt to a crisp, ice berg lettuce drowned in ranch dressing lol Don t waste your time or money, go to the Keg instead . TRUST ME! Owner was informed of situation & didn t even have the decency to come and apologize for the incredibly slow service. Or even offer some coffee or something NO CLASS! Absolutely ridiculous!

Burger was dry, definitely needs a sauce. Blue cheese wedge salad had no blue cheese flavour! Very subpar compared to other similar blue cheese wedge salads also the tartar was spicy, which was fine, but unexpected. Overall the food was ok, the steak was good, mashed potatoes were mundane. Thanks

I never had time to write this review of this restaurant. I thought a lot and took a step back before deciding to write this review but I think it is important that the world knows about my bad experience with them. It was during the month of April, I went there to celebrate a friends birthday. We waited around 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes before being served and my order was incomplete! Unfortunately I dont have the name of the waitress who served us but she was really unprofessional! She had an attitude throughout the evening...left and never came back with what was missing from the order and then said that the kitchen was closed and that we had to make do. I immediately lost my cold it was the first time in my life that I got carried away in a restaurant. I was determined to talk to the manager because the waitress insisted I tip her saying it was restaurant policy. The food was quite expensive for such low-end customer service... really a -15 . I would never wish what I experienced on anyone!! It was the first time and will be the last time that I set foot there Miss. Heineken

I went there with my little family, extremely nice server, good meal, not wow but still good. Price . So far so good. But our experience was spoiled by the boss shouting at the servers for several minutes. A situation that really made me uncomfortable. The boss really showed disrespect to his employees without regard for the customers who were there. I wont go back because of that because I cant encourage this type of employer.

Picked this spot for their Ribeye Steak! Lucky for us, it was also lobster fest. Very large servings! Lobster Roll Feature and Ribeye. Perhaps the cow wasnt cooperating for us - the ribeye was not the greatest for the price point. Would definitely recommend this spot and would definitely eat here again.

The quality of the service and the Chef, the delicious food

Went for supper and tbh, for the price I expected better. Overall the food was lacking presentation, which isn t good when you re paying top dollar. Salmon tartar was fresh, calamari was good, but the escargot was watery and lacked flavour (seemed frozen). The lamb was good. The sea bass wasn t worth 62$ and unfortunately the prime rib was cold when it got to the table. 315$ for 2???? With each a drink and coffee at the end??? Way overpriced

SCAM Everything was good (especially the mashed potatoes, the steak lacked seasoning) EXCEPT the 2 bloody doubles that we took we didnt drink them, so the waiter left with them afterwards. But he still charged them on the bill. I find it a shame and we got home too late. Bill of almost $400 I find it disrespectful to charge us for these drinks ($40 total)

Let me preface the below by saying I travel A Lot and always hit up steakhouses from shore to shore. Something did not click for me my first visit. I am always more critical when I spend more money. Atmosphere - lacking for a dinner. Turn the lighting down and figure out the music. Also, some guy in a suit storming around (loudly I will add) - its not an Applebees where the staff need psyching up. That really detracted from the overall experience. Virgin Ceasar - below average. Watery, almost see through. Lacking in taste. Filet - cooked perfectly over charcoal - nice touch! Vegetables - needed one minute less folks. Didnt bother to order dessert. So much potential.

We waited 30 minutes until a waiter came to ask us what we wanted to order. We then waited close to 2 hours for our food. The entree was the only food that was made correctly, the steak was not cooked and the chicken was without seasoning. We also got charged 20$ more than the receipt given.

One word; quality. Go try it. Impeccable service, quality recommendations; both on meals and wine. High quality meal with premium ingredients. Relaxed and upscale atmosphere. To try again until you go through the menu.

I am a BIG fan of Prime Rib au jus. I have eaten it everywhere in Quebec, Canada and the US. In Quebec, forget the popular Keg, Baton Rouge, Rib N Reef, etc. to which I give a rating of 3 to 6 out of 10 Seriously! Never again! Sterling was my first visit today...and it was about time I went! The BEST Prime Rib au jus in Quebec. Tender like butter, juicy and tasty. Slightly more expensive... but I prefer that rather than paying for a piece of meat which is totally disappointing. Additionally, my hosts Sam and Frank were an asset to my experience at Sterling. From the welcome to the service... the experience was exceptional. We will see each other again very soon...

Its a very chic place. The food is good in any case my friends steak was delicious. My lamb chop was a little lacking in seasoning but relatively good. Very courteous staff. The quality of the food is always excellent. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is particularly successful. Soft lighting, comfortable furniture in a luxurious and modern style at the same time. One of my favorite restaurants. I recommend without hesitation. Parking: The parking lot is easily accessible and offers plenty of room to park. It is practically impossible not to have a place. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the ground floor and without stairs.
