Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options . Dietary restrictions: They were accommodating with my request . Parking: Parking is free Kid-friendliness: I went for lunch the place has little ones and has baby chair . I have not the bathroom . But the ambiance was nice and cozy.

Great food and service, reservations honoured and on time even on a busy Saturday evening. Parking situation is not great during busy hours.

I was disappointed He doesnt respect the customers, I made a reservation despite that I stayed at the reception for 25 minutes for him to find me a table, after that the service is too slow and a small amount compared to the price of an order for two people at $145. the waiter is not respectful he spoke to me loudly.

Having an engaging server is so important in a sushi restaurant, especially when its your first time there. At least I could drink my own wine, which helped reduce the frustration level.

Exceptional sushi especially for the house specials. The portions are big , best to share with more than 2 people. Service great and atmosphere as well. Definitely going there again. Night time is the best for the sushis.

I have to start by saying that we were a large group (23 and a baby) and in such instances, service could go south because of the number of guests but we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait to go back.

Botan ebi for the win. The group menu is great and relatively affordable considering BYOB. Personally I prefer the more classic selection at the back of the menu than the fusion stuff with foie gras and truffle oil on the main menu; there is something for everyone. Beautiful terrace. Unfortunately, when it is open the meal can take time to arrive (1h15 during the last visit), so this should be taken into consideration. Overall 4.4. Great place for a group meal, party or impromptu date.

My husband and I ordered the tasting menu which included two salads and 4 rolls. Everything was good, the menu is diverse, however some dishes were slightly too sweet for our tastes. The service is excellent, fast (which was appreciated since we have a baby), courteous and very baby accommodating. I recommend!

We were 3 adults and 3 teens. The menu has good options for pickier eaters (not sushi). We found something for everyone. Fast service, very fresh. Everything was beautifully presented, what a delight. Dessert s were ok, but it wouldn t be fair to reduce the stars as it s not the reason to go there- skip dessert and try more of everything else!! The Bonsai salad, dumplings and the chef s lobster tartare were the bomb!! We will definitely be going back!!

This is my first time at Torii Susie and I really like it. We chose the $58 set menu, which was so exquisite! Very Yummy! Also ordered salmon and eel Susie, Delicious!

I used to go there for lunch and its very good, not too expensive and quick. I was in a group of 8 and the service was a little slow, but I think thats because we chose a la carte and not one of their tasting options. The restaurant was also full. For 5 it cost us $230 tax and tip included. We brought our wine and beer. Great service and excellent food. Thanks to the Torii staff we had a pleasant evening.

We went, we ate, we left very stuffed. Not one plate was disappointing. From cerviche, lobster salad, sushi with fois gras!! Wonderful combination of tastes. I highly highly recommend.

Tasting menu: sweet, sweet, sweet. The taste. Everything tastes the same. Lets just say Torii has had better days. And they push you to order, to pay and they throw you out at 10:00 on a Wednesday evening.

By far my favorite sushi restaurant! We often go there as a group of work colleagues and have regularly had the same server (whom we love). The service is always impeccable! The only points that stick out a bit for me: - the restaurant has a chic look, but there is a lot of noise in general, people speak loudly - I found the meals at the table dhôte simply OK, the desserts were however very good.

We chose to share the FitCook menu for two people, and it was sublime from start to finish. Perfect quantities, magnificent presentation, unparalleled service! The desserts were equally tasty. It was our first visit, but not the last!

The mix of the style of food and the ambiance just doesn t work . The restaurant s decor, layout and high level of occupancy is more akin to a low-end eatery and not with this type of cuisine. Without changes this, the restaurant will remain mediocre.

The sushi here taste extremely good. I always order for special day with my wife. One time, I asked the chef choice and mentioned that she is allergic to shrimp and lobster. That one time, they made mistake and I have called back and they gave me a free plate. It was not my first time ordering from Sushi Torii and won t be the last. Great customer service and tasty. Too expensive for the food quality

Loud and ordinary place. The chef combo is terrible and everything else is just average, and the prices are not cheap at all. If anything , I would recommend any all you can eat sushi place , you would get the same quality, and a better service.

This is our first time here, we enjoyed the tasting menu, I did order for the tasting menu, they tried to compensate after I complained about the missing salad that mom loves a lot last time. No dessert included but I suggest the owner add a dessert in these courses, for the price is reasonable to have a desert in the end.

The decoration is nice, service is very fast . The food presentation is nice however the taste is very average the hosomakis are also small and full of rice. I took sushi with loptster wasnt good at all . The torched salmon sushi was good

I usually don t get sick, I have crocodile s stomach. But last night I had sashimi at Torii and I got real sick, toilet is my best friend. Service was great though. Don t recommend any raw dish.

I am disappointed with the experience I had at the restaurant. Some servers seemed incompetent and impolite. Unfortunately, despite repeated requests, the service did not meet my expectations. Additionally, it was disheartening to see that even after leaving a tip of 15% before taxes, the staff did not seem satisfied. Its important to note that tipping is at the discretion of the customer, and it is not an obligation. Tipping should reflect the satisfaction with the service provided.

there were 6 of us, cost: $600. I am unfortunately not satisfied with their overly sweet and creamy cuisine. I will not return to this restaurant again. We had a booking at 6:30 p.m., first thing the manager came to tell us, we had to leave at 8:15 p.m. Not my type of restaurant

Disappointed as I had heard good reviews about this place. Very noisy and ordinary place. The food is just average and the prices unreasonable. We had a lobster tartare which didnt taste like lobster, it tasted like fish pate/shrimp at most. I would recommend any all you can eat sushi restaurant to get the same quality. Always so delicious and refined!

Arriving at the restaurant with a reservation, it was stressful with the queue and the management of the reception. It really needs to be improved. Also the service was really slow. What I can tell you is that the waiter knows his menu well and suggests things to try which I loved. The food there is really good, if you want to explore other taste flavors and have different expertise this is really the place.

Slow and distracted service at dinner. The team seems to lack time to explain the menu and help us. To improve! The meal was very good except for the sweet treat of the day: a mini dry brownie. *note for couple with baby*: we had a baby in a shell with us and despite our reservation for 3, we had a mini table in a mini corner which was not suitable at all, I had to ask to change places. Not recommended for dinner with baby. Kid-friendliness: Do not bring baby. Lack of space for shell

Disappointed as I heard good reviews about this place in the past. Strawberry on sushi should NOT be allowed. Unfortunately the special rolls were the best, and that s only because there were so many ingredients/sauces that you couldn t even taste the fish. We did have a few simple rolls like kamikaze and the quality of the salmon was absolutely terrible. The sushi here was less than mediocre and there are a million other better sushi places in Laval. Also no sesame seeds on the rice for the hosomaki (which they refer to as mini make on their menu) or for the other roll.

Overall, the combination of delicious sushi and outstanding service makes Torii Sushi a top choice for celebrations. This restaurant is by far my favorite for sushi. After eating there, you dream of their delicious sushi for 4 months! I highly recommend the tasting menu to everyone.

We enjoy sushi quite frequently and Tori s selection is very basic and uninspiring. There are not very many kitchen items and the service is below standard. For example, our waiter poured wine into a minor child s glass and the restaurant had to be asked 4 times to provide English menus. These are just 2 of the very many faux pas, which also included taking our food away from our table to show it to the table next door (as a fun joke?). We spent $450 for a table of 5 and I would not return given the standards here. Out of the 3 bathrooms, 1 was out of service and 1 did not have a lock on the door that worked and I walked in on a woman using it. I m not quite sure how they ve managed to get these reviews

Sushi and dishes are fresh and creative, and the staff and service is wonderful. They are always welcoming and innovating, and it s so appreciated. Laval is probably the last place to find a great sushi restaurant. But here we are on a Saturday evening with BYOB of sake on hand, i was dragged to Laval and so glad i came. AYCE buffet vibe but food is anything but AYCE, it was solid, in fact very solid. Strong starters with the surprisingly great seaweed salad and fresh raw oysters. The rest were rolls, tartars and one by one, they came and we savoured them. I refuse to drive far but will make an exception do drive to Laval to eat at Torii. Well done!

One word, IMPECCABLE!!! The service is really perfect. The server took all the time necessary to explain the concept to us. We had a pregnant woman in the group and they made a menu varied enough for her to enjoy the tasting menu with us. Food more than excellent!!! I highly recommend and I will definitely return!

Waited over an hour for my food. The Octopus plate is only four (4) thin miniature slices, not worth the money should not even be part of the menu.

Their tasting menu was delightful and eye-opening. Its a mix of 7-8 services which really demonstrates the adventurous side of the restaurant and it costs about 90$ depending on the services you get. I really enjoyed their innovative dishes and their unique flavours. I especially liked their various sauces that were bringing so many intense and enjoyable flavours. I was also surprised by how well they incorporated foie gras in a lot of their sushi plates which I have never seen before. The ingredients were also fresh, the various textures were nice and the flavours were delicious. The only thing that bothered me was probably all the middle courses. They were all sushis drenched in sauces, I felt like the sauces were the only thing I was tasting. Hence, each plate tasted the same because the sauces were just overwhelming all the other flavours from the other ingredients. They were still enjoyable, but I wish they would have put the sauce on the sauce for us to dip instead. That way, we could have had a better balance of flavours in my opinion. The service was decent. They were polite but some of them would just not speak a single word when serving us and some others would speak super quickly and in a low volume so I couldnt really understand what they were saying.

I just had dinner at this restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Not only was the service poor, with a server not responding properly to our requests, but to top it all off, he had the audacity to ask us to increase our tip amount. I find this completely inappropriate and uncalled for, especially given the quality of the service provided. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant. There are many other establishments where respect for the customer is a priority.

Best sushi Ive had in a while!

Nice cozy place for a date night. Friendly service. The waiters take time to explain the menu and the dishes that are serving. We had oysters, albacor tataki, the paradise roll, and the sashimi plater. Loved the oyster, but we asked without foie gras. It is too rich and it overloads the taste of oysters when it gets served with foie Gras. The kimchi dressing peared very well with the ikura and oyster. Albacor tataki was always good. The sauce is very fruity and gives you appetite for the next dish. The paradise roll was our less favourite. There is nothing special about it. They used two soya papers to roll it, which made it very tick in texture. Im not a fan of their sushi rolls. I find the rolls pretty much normal for the price. Sashimis are fresh and served on ice, which we enjoyed. I recommend this place if you like raw fishes and special dishes like their tataki, tartare. The price is on the higher end. For 2, we spent 240$. Dont forget to bring your own wine

We had booked for my brother-in-laws party, we were between 14-18 people, when we arrived they told us that he called us 4 times to confirm and he decided to give our place to someone else firstly we we checked carefully if we had missed calls and no then they ruined a 40th birthday party for us its seriously disgusting to fire 14 people NEVER EVER we will go there

We spent a lovely evening at this restaurant. The service is impeccable and the quality of the food as well. The only downside, there were 6 of us out of 12 sharing the tasting menu, out of 6.5 men and after all the services, which still cost $97 per head, some guests had to recommend something else on the menu because they still had hunger. Apart from this detail, the rest was perfect and I will eat at this place again without hesitation.

I liked the meal, but as we were a group, a menu was imposed on us. In the table d hôte choices, there was no sushi dish! It was in a second part of the menu that you could choose sushi, but only in service for 2 people at $155, so to have sushi, in a sushi restaurant, you had to spend at least $77.50 per person. Its a shame to force people who choose to come to this type of restaurant to spend a minimum of almost $80, without having any option to order 5-6 rolls in addition to the main meal. Otherwise, the meal was very good, not exceptional, but very good.

Blue menu will have English on it , just avoid the regular stuff and only order from the back side of the menu that has the specials, even the rice tasted different in those! Some do go up to 40$ but absolutely worth it Service was ok only and the atmosphere as well

Today we were served by Maxime, one of the best server s ive ever had, so enthusiastic and showed up very often at the perfect times to clear our plates, bring more & make great recommendations, and was funny and friendly.
