This was a cute find! It's a small restaurant but the place was packed and the staff was able to accommodate everyone. Special mention to the waiter. He was working alone and was able to balance every table in a fast and courteous manner. You can see that the staff really care about their business. The food was piping hot and delicious! Reminds me of home cooked meals with mom. It's a BYOB, so I will definitely be going back with a bottle for a nice evening.
A lil expensive for a chicken pad thai but the portions are good and everything we ordered was delicious (wonton soup, lemongrass chicken and beef, pad thai, katsu chicken and fried calamari). It was our first time ordering from this place and I think it just became our go to place for vietnamese food in Laval
So disappointed after reading all the great reviews. Was the worst asian food I've ever had. Pad Thai noodles were probably old because they were so so dry and also completely tasteless. Tao tofu sauce tasted like old bell peppers. Will never eat their food again.
The food was amazing, ordered through SkipTheDishes, I really needed the soup, it was truly comforting.
The general tao was super tasty! But the rice portion was tiny. Not even a portion of rice for 1 adult Worst of all, the pad thai that cost $22 smelled like wet mop and we couldn't eat it. That + the price paid made me give this place 2 stars. Sorry! But once again, the general tao was flavourful and tender
Always been a favourite place of mine! Over the years the quality as always been there and even tho the place isn’t the trendiest and the most clean, the food is great and in my opinion this is what does matter the most. Prices are reasonable, but one thing you got to keep in mind is that like any other Vietnamese place even if you get full at the restaurant you might get hungry later. This isn’t applicable only for this shop but any Vietnamese place.
1 - When you walk in it smells like it is very closed in even though half the place was empty. It smells like sweat , dust and dirty mop water. 2- My Girlfriend took a sip of her soup and it was so piping hot that I almost had to call the fire department , everything is boiling hot. 3 - The Peanut butter dumplings were very Salty. 4- The General Tao was okay and Sweet and Sour Beef was boring. 5 - I don't know who would drive from St-Jerome to come to this place ( I saw other reviews) but I wouldn't cross the street to come back Only thing positive was the service they were nice ..

Wow! What more can I say about the fried spinach, pad thai and fried ice cream dessert. Really a great discovery for our first time. Well done!

Excellent food and very good service, the only reason why I dont give 5 stars is that the ventilation was extremely noisy and it was unpleasant, but otherwise the rest was really great!

I ate Chez Kim every Friday evening from the age of 5 until I was 12 and it is one of my best childhood memories. Its the best Vietnamese restaurant by far and not just in Laval, since I moved to Gatineau I go back there as often as possible because its so good compared to what we have here. Always great service, the food is super hot and delicious. Plus the owner is super nice and she s the one who serves us every time, always happy to see her again :)

Without having been informed in advance, my bill for me alone is high at $46.63, yet each time I choose a mixed menu, the desert and Jasmine tea are included in the table dhôte meal, so be warned.
The BEST...You cant eat as well in any other restaurant... Everything is made on site and fresh daily, and it shows

The General Tao chicken was good, nothing more. On the other hand, the pad thai is one of the worst I have ever eaten. Sorry.. No taste, vegetables that I have never seen in a Pad Thai.. Really very disappointing after reading so many good reviews. Compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, I wont go back.

Uhhhh WOW!!! I ordered through Uber Eats and was really impressed. Its been a long time since I had such good peanut chicken. Finally a sauce that actually tastes like peanut butter. The fried rice was also super good as well as the dumplings. Nothing negative to say. Excellent.

Seriously very very very good! Yesterday we ordered for 6 to take away and everyone found it excellent. It was ready on time, hot, authentic and very tasty even once at home. I definitely recommend. We just found our new neighborhood Thai restaurant!
Simple, friendly and delicious
Ive been going there for years at least ten times, especially at lunchtime. Everything on the menu is tasty. The service is fast and it is clean. The presentation is ordinary but the taste redeems everything. The only downside is that prices rise quickly. It has become more expensive.

Chez Kim restaurant is an incredible experience. The food is excellent, fresh and served very quickly. All of ATL would agree with me. I highly recommend Combo C or General Tao. Note that the entire menu is good!!

To tell the truth Ive been a customer since around 2005, and its always the same Good, very good service, clean, beautiful dishes, quality especially the Sizzling 11/10, PS dont go there for the decor, but for the quality of the menu.
