Amazing, The best ever steak I ever had, very tender with perfect texture and flavor, enjoyed every bite of it. Thank you for the chefs to cook our dinner birthday and Wedding Anniversaries we love it. Thank you for Tamsin for the drinks. And never forget the FOH staff great service with smile on their face and great atmosphere. Love it. Definitely will come back.

Good pub for a meal or drink. Dog friendly as well. Service was very good and prompt. Good selection of drinks and food and the overall atmosphere was nice and friendly.

Definitely coming back here. Waiting staff and bar staff were efficient, attentive and friendly. The quality of the food varied but, again, the reaction to where it was sub-optimal was very good. Good choice of beers too.

Steak was gorgeous

Proper alternative to Wingdom. The F&V wings are absolutely spot on. Smaller than wingdom but only slightly and flame grilled which gives them a totally different style. Rack of ribs was amazing, fall apart tender with a great sauce.

£43 for steak, chips and salad should come with great service but sadly it doesn t. Have noticed the service deteriorate in recent months which is very disappointing.

Went during a work function, staff were great as was the food. The function room was slightly smaller than Id expected and they closed it earlier than theyd said but beyond that it was good.

Group of us with the football being promised upstairs. TV didnt work so half the party watched the football and half stayed upstairs. Could have been resolved or at least told about but manager/owner pouring/drinking beers without serving anyone else. Heard good things about this place but not this time.

Bearing in mind, I live in London where we have a wide range of burger places, and Im very fussy when it comes to red meat. this was high-quality meat, cooked at perfection. Yummy bun, great sauce. I went for the first one on the menu, Wagu, Japanese meat, SO yummy. Great quality malbec on the glass too, which is always a bonus, and they have oil neck which would be my next option. Highly recommend this place

One of the best steaks I have ever had!

Lovely atmosphere but shocking customer service. We went to this pub in two occasions as we wanted to give it a second chance, so we went last night but ended up being served by the same very rude young lad who was notoriously disgusted by having to serve customers. We were not drunk, rude or demanding but his actitud was that bad that we didn t want to order another round so we don t annoy the guy and we just left. This is not the first time it happens either with the same member of the staff so that s why sadly we won t be back.

Had a Sunday lunch here, a nice meal with good vegetables. However, we waited an hour for our food to arrive. The service was somewhat haphazard, friendly but not very attentive. Would advise booking to eat earlier in the day.

Sunday roast absolutely outstanding

We had a Sunday roast in aid of Mothers day. The food was absolutely lovely, beef was melt in the mouth & veggies were to due for. There was a vegetarian option on the menu but no info regarding dietary issues, none of the staff asked if there were any food items which need to be avoided. Also, one of the ladies toilet cubicles was almost impossible to get in to without twisting & contorting. So, 3 stars for the quality of food & service.

Top quality Sunday lunch

We recently held my daughters 21st party in the fabulous function room above the pub . Chris and the team were very helpful throughout , and helped to make the whole event seamless and stress free .

Sunday lunch was beautiful and tasty

Lovely place, friendly staff. Its veeery popular though so if you want food, be sure to book well in advance. If youre just after a well made drink, you can walk-in most of the time. Theyre currently re-doing their cocktail list but can make most of the classics on request for ~£9 a go, worth the money because they make them strong! I recommend the Espresso Martini for both a good coffee and alcohol hit!

1st class service, food & proper beer to drink, not just pale ale and larger, so all good there. The not so good, the most uncomfortable chairs Ive ever sat on, the bars on the backrest cut into your buttcheeks, my wife had bruises. Also such a loud environment, deafening! Could really do with some sound absorbing material, we were literally shouting across the table to be heard, otherwise all good

We went for a family birthday party and the atmosphere was great. No great real ales but the cider was good, food tasty and staff brilliant Vegetarian options: We had a lovely vegan burger.

Nice pub and restaurant, it was clean and inviting. I decided to get a meal and was it a good decision. The burger was delicious and cooked beautifully. The staff was friendly and the toilets were clean. Would recommend for a meal and drinks.

Yesterday, 5 December, I phoned and made a reservation with you. Your staff member asked me for what time, and how many. I told him for 8 PM, two people. No problem, he said, took my name, and said all was good for an 8 PM booking. I have lived for many years in Leamington, but never eaten at your place. I saw some nice comments about it recently on one of the local online groups, so decided to give it a try. WHAT A MISTAKE! We arrived on time, the place was moderately busy but not crowded, and after attracting the attention of two female staff in heavy conversation at the far end of the room, we were seated, drink orders taken, and the menus provided. We chose from it, waited 15 minutes, and then managed to get someone to come and take our order. Two NY Strips plus various extras. We then waited. And waited. After a further 45 minutes, at 9 PM, we persuaded one of your staff girls to come to the table. She said they were busy and it would be another 20 minutes. We told her to cancel our order, because we were leaving. We paid for our drinks, I told the girl firmly but politely ,of our disgust, and that I would be in touch both with the management and on social media. No apology was offered. We left, our evening totally ruined. Frankly, in all my long life I have only walked out of a restaurant a couple of times. Your treatment of two new, local customers interested in your much-touted restaurant was simply disgraceful.

Excellent place to eat a good Sunday Roast. Dishes with very good garnish. The beef and pork belly are especially good. To repeat!

A Christmas drinks party with friends, we booked the standup table for 10 which was ideal at no extra cost. Good drinks choice, great decor and a lively Saturday crowd. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

I had an absolutely great experience at the Fox and Vivian.....great seletion of beers, the food was superb (double Wagu burger, maybe the best I have had to be honest) and the service was excellent; even the music could not be faulted....all in all a top venue to drink and or eat....definitely worth a visit!

been to this place twice in the last two months for family bday events and the food and service is outstanding, great locals in there, everyone friendly, the gaffer is great and welcoming. We have to come from Coventry to experience this kind of stuff. Keep it up guys and we will see you again for sure. Your steaks are totally off it.

First time I ve been for a long time and must say it was excellent. Had the Cote De Boeuf which was top end restaurant grade, and much better value. Beer selection also excellent. So impressed, was expecting usual pub food!

Excellent food and service

Food was lovely, but service felt incredibly rushed. We were given no time to look over the menu, which also wasn t made clear this would not be the menu on the website. Additionally, there were no prices on the menu we were given, and the roasts ended up varying considerably in cost. Once our food was cleared we were immediately given our receipt and asked to pay, without being asked if there was anything else we wanted. Created a rather unfriendly atmosphere, as such we were in and out in 50 minutes despite having the table booked for 2 hours. Quite disappointing as I never had anything bad to say about the place until today.

Dont serve food outside, no air inside (doesnt open the the windows) and wrong princes in the menu (we just cancelled all our order) - very disappointing... We wont return.

Ive been three times and always had a fantastic meal. The Sirloin in my surf and turf was juicy and cooked to perfection.

Had the best ribeye steak I have ever eaten! Locally sourced, beautifully cooked to perfection and the service and staff outstanding. Cannot wait to return for more! Bravissimo!!!!!

Top quality steak and Ribs

Lovely pub, busy with Sunday diners nice atmosphere. Lovely decor & fit out with clean tables. Even the unruly pug who was a little vocal at times added to the ambience. Drinks reasonably priced & served well.

Went in for a friends birthday, had a steak and can easily say it was by far the best Id eaten. Anyone that loves a good steak, this is a must try

This place never fails to deliver. Forget Miller and Carter or Marco Pierre white s the steak here is spot on every single time. Lovely vibe and decor, Fox and Vivian has it all. Well worth every penny and don t be fooled sides are big enough for main meals They defo don t need this review for more bookings as they re always busy, make sure you book early you don t want to miss out

The food was great, so why 2 stars? So many mistakes. Bringing out 5 medium steaks just casually saying we did them all the same despite none being medium, constantly bringing the wrong food for our group, and the whole setup felt like a money grab last night with the focus on the football game but we ll still take your money for your group meal. Barely any table service, and also the table was ok for 8 ppl max but we had 10, resulting in spillages aplenty including my £60 shirt getting ruined. All this would be ok if you don t command top prices, but you set your bar high then so do I.

Had a family party yesterday for my sisters 70th, organised by my eldest niece. We had the whole of upstairs to ourselves, no restrictions didnt order food till about 3pm(although 1.30 / 2pm was originally arranged) we were left to our own devices. But when we were ready staff were efficient, prompt and polite. BEST SUNDAY ROAST IVE EVER HAD IN A RESTAURANT . Took a doggy bag(which wasnt frowned on, as I so many other establishment,s). Decent meat pub with a lively atmosphere and dark décor

We miss the atmosphere of the F&V but the takeaway Fox In A Box is such a treat, well probably miss that too once they reopen!! Treat yourself and get these fantastic melt in your mouth ribs. They are massive, juicy and come with home made fries, coleslaw, corn on the cob, pickle, smokey chicken wings. Its plenty for 2 people. For £20 its a fantastic value for a delicious dinner.

Food is great. Small but perfectly formed menu with awesome meaty treats. They do cater for V/Vg too. Nice atmosphere, chilled sound track on speakers, staff are very friendly and accommodating. 100% recomend. Keep up the good work F&V!

Absolutely love this place, the food is amazing the staff are great and they have such a great variety of gins too. During lock down we often had the fox in a box with a burger. It fed 2 adults and 2 kids and there was always food left over the next day. Carnt rate it enough!!!!!! Great job guys!!!!

The best ribs Ive ever eaten in my life!!

Had a nice fillet steak. Not impressed with the upstairs dining area . Dark a bit seedy And naff dining tables. Quite expensive for what you pay to be honest.

Wagyu burger was criminally good, cocktails were top class, and the cheesecake made my heart melt into a steaming pile of bliss...

We went for a Sunday roast the food was absolutely impeccable. Super pleased with the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. The only let down was how slow the service was. We arrived at 3pm made a drinks order but it took until about 3.45 for someone to take our order and we had to prompt them for it to be taken. I must say however it was quite busy as the football was on so completely understandable about the slower service. Cannot get over how lovely the food was!

I recently came here to catchup with a friend who lives in Leamington and I have to say I really like the pub and the atmosphere. It was a Friday so a little busier than usual and we had to move to a different table as ours was reserved but the staff managed to find us another one. They have Beavertown larger and ale which which was a great result. Definitely plan on coming back.
