Unfortunately it seems like it's going downhill. We've been before and it was great, but the latest trip was pretty average. First up are the drinks prices which they seemingly make up on the day. The cocktail menu states 2 for £12, as we ordered our waitress said we couldn't have the offer because we were too big a group (no mention of this on the menu), when we challenged this at the bar they said it was actually because the offer is only valid mid week (again, nothing on the menu), then they were priced at £10.50 on the dessert menu and finally we were charged £12. The food overall was OK. The pasta was pretty good but some pizzas were overcooked, some undercooked. Also apparently the women's toilets are in need of some upkeep (broken lights, taps and no loo roll). It's a shame because the first few trips we had here were really enjoyable, and it should be said that our two serving staff were great!
Exceptional service from a lad called Freddie, made my dinning experience pleasant. I had the seafood pasta, which was spot on. Great experience overall
Food and ambience was amazing. Cocktails and drinks were especially exceptional. Compliments to Freddie who made the evening extra special with his service and drinks knowledge.
Popped in for a takeaway sandwich on my lunch break and couldn’t recommend it enough! The sandwich itself was delicious with really fresh ingredients, and is even warm. This is also only half of the sandwich, so excellent value for money for the size and quality of ingredients. Really quick efficient service too. If you’re stuck on what to do for lunch, don’t hesitate to pop into Tavola!
The BEST bottomless brunch in Leamington Spa! We had an incredible experience with wonderful food alongside the best service. The staff were extremely accommodating including Luke who showed us to our table ensuring our experience was the best, which it was. Would totally recommend & we will definitely be back!
Amazing food and service, started with cocktails (2 4 1) yum, then had a fantastic bottle of wine, perfect to accompany a stunning meal, love a menu that isn’t massive so you know the food is going to be good quality.
Beautiful bottomless brunch in a very pretty restaurant! We had lovely afternoon at Tavola, the margarita cocktails were better than anywhere we've ever had and there food was delicious. Looking forward to coming here again and the food was delicious!
I wanted to love this place so much ! I love how they changed the decor since the last ownership. It looks light and vibrant. I also really liked the non alcoholic selections, which was quite varied. The kitchen staff didn't seem too knowledgeable regarding the ingredients in some of the dishes. They didn't know if the aioli or the cream cheese were pasteurised, for instance. Unfortunately, the food wasn't really good. The side of Zucchini Fritte was soooo salty. We sent it back once and came back just as bad. ( and the portion was awfully small) The calamari Fritti, however, were quite nice ! The spaghetti carbonara was super dry. The Rigatoni Nduja were alright. The spaghetti Gamberoni actually came out with rigatoni pasta, and my friend said it just tasted like canned tomato, so she refused to eat it. The garlic bread was dry and again very salty. We decided not to finish our meal and paid for what we ate and drank. They kindly offered us dessert on the house but my friends wanted to leave. It's such a shame as this place has so much potential. I bear in mind that they only opened a few weeks ago , so it might give it anoter chance in a few months to see how they evolved.
I had the pleasure of dining at Tavola recently, and it was an incredible experience. The highlight for me was their Spaghetti Aglio Olio e perperoncia perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring everything was just right. Tavola is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!
Went for our Christmas lunch and Tom looked after us so well, made it a super pleasant afternoon. Food was great, would recommend everything on the menu, lovely atmosphere with the music and decor. Couldn t recommend it more, will go back again. Cheers Tom! From Leo, Lauren and Jack
Had a party of 50 here. Luke and the team did really well, they were so nice and tried to bring everything so quick. definitely recommend! Food
Amazing afternoon for a bottomless brunch. Lovely food and great cocktails
Ini is awesome what an amazing barman, we love nim
Dude was totally awesome! Made the afternoon with friends an excellent experience. Often, a dining experience is defined by the staff, and Ini did not disappoint. He was a legend and we laughed our way through such a nice afternoon. Thank you dude. Food : 5/5 |
A great afternoon was had, with a bottomless brunch, Many cocktails and fabulous food.
Average food, cocktails ok but they couldnt prepare everything on the menu.so.disappointing, wouldnt return
I think the restaurant will do well, as the food is really tasty; but the service was not up to standard. We visited the restaurant on Saturday 30th November, a 6pm booking as we had later plans. So the restaurant wasnt too busy. It seemed to be a challenge for our server to find our booking/allocate us a table; but eventually we were seated. We ordered our food - though was disappointed the option to add meat to a veggie dish wasnt an option (which you would normally find in other Italian restaurants) but, not a deal breaker. We ordered cocktails - as the drinks menu showed 2 for £12 cocktails must be the same. No reference to timings or specific days of when this promotion runs. So we ordered our drinks. The food came & it was delicious. Though there was no offer of parmesan; we had to ask for it. Whilst I had finished my food, the waiter came to clear the table when my friend hadnt finished her meal. She had to say, no I havent finished yet. Never experienced that in a restaurant before. We wanted desserts & ordered 2 more cocktails to go with the desserts. This is when it got strange; the waiter said, you do know the 2 for £12 offer isnt running (no, no one had advised us of this) I pointed out that its not stated anywhere in the menu about times/days where this promotion runs - therefore its false advertising. The waiter just said its what Ive been told to say by the manager. So we went ahead & ordered 2 different cocktails. Our desserts were brought out by another waiter; we spoke to him about it & you could tell how frustrated he was by it. Its not difficult to reprint a menu, or add in timings when the promotion runs. But it turns out, the promotion is run on managers discretion. I.e. if the restaurant is too busy, he will stop the promotion. If youre too busy to keep up with demands, remove the promotion. Or add it in for quieter times. Dont just do it when it pleases you. When the bill came; we did get 2 for £12 on the 1st drinks & then not for the other 2 (as we ordered different ones) I wonder if we would get the promotion if we had ordered the same? It was totally bizarre!!! To summarise; food was great. Service was just weird . . .
Had mushroom and truffle tagliatelle and the duck ragu tagliatelle, both very nice and a good range of drinks and desserts
Lovely dining experience with a good selection of drinks and Italian food. We dined here on the recommendation of a friend and it definitely lived up to expectations. Attentive service (served by Freddie!), bright modern decor and warm atmosphere.
Some amazing sandwiches!!
I have been twice for bottomless brunch and both times have been great. The cocktails are made fresh to order with high end ingredients. There is a broad selection of food and drink options on the menu, having tried both a pasta and pizza dish, the food itself is delicious. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, despite a fairly busy restaurant. Id highly recommend, will definitely be back. The extra limoncello shot to celebrate a birthday was much appreciated! Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate for vegans but not for GF/celiac.
We came for bottomless brunch , excellent service, good cocktails and amazing food. Great selection of drinks and food. Will be back soon!
Had a bottomless brunch with friends. There was a great selection of food - pizza and pasta meals. Good selection of drinks - spirits and cocktails.Attentive staff. Lovely afternoon with friends.
The place was cold, food tepid and service poor. When asked if everything was ok, we advised that the food was tepid. The waiter was at a total loss as to what to say or do, so just said O and walked off. We then had a 10% service charge added to our bill! Shocking - certainly wont be going back or recommending as to many other great places to eat
Lovely place very Art stylish. Relaxing place. Vegetarian options: You have options. Food : 5/5 |
We had the bottomless brunch at Tavola and would definitely recommend it. The food and cocktails were lovely and the service was fab!
Sister and I really enjoyed the food and drinks. We both had sandwiches which were delicious and the cocktails were perfect, our server Luke was also lovely and friendly
Relaxed comfortable atmosphere with modern Mediterranean vibe serving food food
Lovely restaurant. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Pizza was one of the best Ive had. It was a lovely experience. Only thing I would say was that it was a little cold in there to begin with. Would definitely go back though, just maybe with a jumper!
Luke was fantastic, Was a huge fan of the home made bread, the sandwiches were real good. I was in a group doing bottomless brunch which was good value. I was driving so just had a beer but the service was exceptional and everyone said the drinks were too.
Absolutely unreal. Book here!
Dietary restrictions: We were asked immediately if there were any. Attention to detail appreciated. Food
Excellent food and wonderful service Vegetarian options: Great Food : 5/5 |
Came for bottomless brunch with friends. Atmosphere was lovely, the food was incredible and the staff couldn t do enough! Luke was looking after us perfectly. The whole experience was amazing will definitely be coming back here in the future
Me and my friends came for bottomless and it was the BEST place ever! Food was amazing and the service was impeccable! All the staff were great and Luke was amazing making sure we had drinks topped up and the food was to our liking. Will 100% be back!!
Had such a great 21st here, amazing service and incredible quality !
Service was amazing, their help made the food taste even better
Fresh Focaccia that is turned into the most amazing sandwiches (schiacciata). If you appreciate good food, dont miss it, this is amazing and cannot recommend enough!
Bottomless brunch was great value for money. Fantastic food, amazing drinks & lovely atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
Cocktail I had was dirty banana and was delicious. I would return to try more cocktails. The food was nice but overpriced for what we had. The food menu was quite boring and unlike some places that downplay food on the menu and you are pleasantly surprised, this isn t one of them. Overall this place is quite uninspired and I won t be in a rush to go back for food.
A very enjoyable light lunch with quality, tasty fresh ingredients. Professional, friendly service by Ini. The restaurant has a nice decor and decorated to a high standard.
Waiter Ini was very nice, service was fast, food was good, nice atmosphere.
Very good food. Staff were really friendly especially Inie. Definitely recommend
Lovely restaurant and great waiter who was Luke really enjoyed the starter, main which was carbonara was a little salty but overall enjoyable, and the profiteroles were yum!
Tom was an excellent host, the drinks were brilliant and we will definitely return again.
Tom is an amazing mixologist. The drinks are amazing. Always keeping the drinks flowing
Fairly small menu selection. Good pasta. Good local Leamington beers. Desserts were particularly good. Nice ambience. Attentive service. We went for starter, pasta and dessert which was enough but we could have gone full Italian and added a main. Large selection of Italian cocktails and wines which we didnt try as most people were driving. The alcohol free alternatives were good though. A little pricey but where isnt these days.
We have just moved to Leamington, and were attracted to this restaurant by its modern decor. However, after dining there thats all it has going for it. Its a classic case of focusing on the image rather than the incredibly bland barely warm food. The truffle porchini pasta was a gloopy mess, its main flavour was flour. You can make a better pasta at home and I recommend a visit from Gordon Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares for Tavola.
Excellent food service staff couldnt do enough for you great atmosphere highly recommended
Food was awful, pizzas were dry as hell and sparse on toppings. Pasta was slop
Food was great and staff were very friendly and accommodating!! Shout out to our attentive waiter Ini Kid-friendliness: Highchair and baby changing
Our waiter Ini made sure we had a beautiful evening. Delicious food and great service, we ll come again.
Luke was our waiter for the night and did an amazing job !! Brilliant service throughout the whole restaurant and a lovely atmosphere
Luke was great for service made our experience great
Chris provided us with the most welcoming service / atmosphere- fantastic service the whole night and very accommodating to our requests, made the whole dining experience much more enjoyable, perfect for any occasion! Can t recommend enough
Delicious lunch for a birthday celebration. Calamari followed by seafood pasta was fabulous. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service from our lovely waiter Ini. We will be back!
Really nice restaurant, great food and service. We would eat here again.
I m drunk and had a great time! Matteo was excellent and looked after us so well had the best time!
We came for bottomless brunch and Matteo our waiter was very attentive and great! He deserves a raise
Mateio was fantastic! Great food, drink and great service. Thank you.
Me, my wife and 6 friends had bottomless brunch at Tavola recently. The service was top notch and the drinks were amazing. Matteo was a great host and made us feel welcome and made for a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the bottomless brunch to anyone!
Lovely place and outstanding service, will come back again!
Amazing place, our new favourite Italian. Pizzas were amazing, the kids actually ate their food and the desserts disappeared in a few minutes. Authentically friendly service, light and airy decor, well definitely be back!
This is a beautiful building and the owners have restored and decorated it to a very high standard. The interior, new seating, fixtures and fittings have been very tastefully done. The food is nice, basic Italian. I had a pizza and a decent glass of red. The desert menu was small but tasty. I m really glad that someone has taken on this beautiful building and making a go of it. I hope it succeeds.
Amazing food and wine with the best service from Matteo! We will be back!!
Amazing food and fantastic service from Matteo!
Amazing food of top quality. Great service from Matteo. We will be back
Really delicious food and quick service. A lovely calm atmosphere, with fun paintings and cozy seating. I especially recommend the dessert- my whole family was thrilled!
Food was great. Drinks were fantastic. Luke was really knowledgeable and informative. Luke let me sample the new Hot Honey Margarita cocktail which was lovely. It was nice to be somewhere where you felt the staff knew what they were talking about, and showed an interest in. Can t wait to come back to try the new cocktail menu!
Lovely food and setting for a nice catch up lunch with family :)
Really tasty food made even better with amazing service and a relaxed atmosphere. Our favourite restaurant in Leamington!
This is such a lovely place, the food is amazing, the staff was impeccable, would definitely return and highly recommend!
Matteo was amazing!
mateo was so lovely and accommodating to us, we had such a lovely time and he was really amazing
Mateo was the most amazing waiter ever! He was extremely accommodating, came here for my birthday and made it extremely special! Would come back if all the waiters are as good as him!
Mateo was a perfect waiter and he made our experience even better than we could ask for. food was amazing and drinks were even better. thank you mateo
Went to Tavola for bottomless brunch for my birthday. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing, and Luke was so lovely and even let us try a drink he s planning on putting on the menu- pistachio dream--amazing! Thank you
The food was great and the cocktails even better, Luke is the best bartender in leamington!
Walk in to full restaurant after a long day. Seated in bar area with drink while waiting for takeaway pizza. It arrived before drinks finished so invited to eat in. 8 year old.son insisted we review as it was such amazing pizza.
Best Italian in Leamington Spa! Came here a few weeks ago to check the restaurant out since the refurb and the new owners have massively freshened the place up - really bright, stylish and overall just a nice place to be. Service was great, we were served by Luke who was superb. He talked us through the menu, gave us a few recommendations (in particular, the supplì which were fantastic!) and was very attentive throughout. My partner had the Pollo Milanese and I had the Rigatoni Nduja with some zucchini fries, supplì and garlic bread on the side. Everything we had was delicious, probably some of the best Italian food we ve had in the UK! Overall great night, would absolutely recommend and we definitely will be visiting again!
Fantastic evening, great food and the staff had excellent knowledge of the menu and wines.
Amazing food and drinks. Best service ive had in leamington.
The staff is absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. For a first time visit I am thoroughly impressed and will definitely come again.
Really nice servers and drinks
Really great service and selection of drinks
Had lunch with friends today and food was superb. Good choice of dishes too. Decor is modern and stylish. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend
Beautiful place, superb food, and our waiter made the evening with his warm charm, food recommendations, and tales of Sardinia. I look forward to returning!
Booked a table for 8:30pm on a Friday. Were sat down and after 5 minutes told the chef was too busy and could we please come back another time.
This was very disappointing. Firstly, the on line booking system is difficult to understand. When I fathomed it, it sent me an e mail saying my booking was not confirmed and I would be contacted. After 2 days this hadn t happened so I phoned and was told my booking was already confirmed. When we arrived, they had no booking for us. The ambiance and decor here is very appealing and I had previously been for a drink and enjoyed it. However the food is overall below average. We both had chicken Milanese - which was ok but a bit dry. We asked for mayonnaise which made it better. It was served with chips which was not mentioned so we ordered roast potatoes with rosemary. The staff didn t advise us that perhaps we didn t need these so we had too much potato. Also they were not roast potatoes. Quite tasty but really small thick chips. The courgettes were nice and the salad ok we didn t have a desert but no one asked if we wanted coffee or another drink and then they brought our bill when we hadn t asked for it. The wine was nice. I wouldn t go back
Great bottomless lunch. Service was grate.
Alcohol adequate - food leaves a lot to be desired Vegetarian options: Not great - would need more options Food : 2/5 |
Great food and a cool atmosphere. Thank you Ini for the great service.
Elegant restaurant Excellent service Really nice food and really Italian restaurant You must try it 100% we ll back
One of the best experience ever, the service by Matteo was amazing. As italian I would recommend this place to everyone for the food, service and atmosphere Food
The new refurb is amazing, and the chefs do a fantastic job of creating authentic Italian cuisine. Service cant be faulted
Excellent service, great chatting to the proprietor Luke. We only had cocktails but they were great, will definitely be going back. Beautiful restaurant overall
Avoid at all costs as italain as French food !! Garlic bread no garlic but great sea salt on it best part Recommend mortadella pizza was basically Philadelphia cheese spread with spam on top as pictured shows and was told by my server after telling him about the food least the one beer you had was nice Deff would not recommend but feel to waste your money but would say just go to my local la Coppola never try something new ! !!! Also how can you ruin olives this place this did was as dry as the Sahara desert no oil no seasoning just awful!! Basic cooking not very basic here shame as from outside looks nice but when inside realise why it s empty !!
Great food
Was an amazing dinner, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. Luke was so great and his service was wonderful - highly recommend!
Great service and food, highly recommend!
Immaculate vibes here, perfect for a chill drink:) Very Neapolitan and delicious drinks!!!
Very viby place. Would highly recommend
Amazing food, amazing service, my new favourite restaurant. Cant recommend enough!
Lovely ambience, enjoyable cocktails - recommend the Negroni. Service with a smile.
We went for a bottomless brunch - service and food was amazing! Could not recommend a better place! Mateo was an absolute gem; he made our day!
We had a great night 15 of us turned up for a get together. We were given the room at the back which was great everyone was able to speak without disturbing anyone else. Lewis and Luke were the perfect hosts at look after us all efficiently. Great cocktails, food and service and even live entrainment from an elvis impersonator . Would definitely recommend only negative is the lack of disabled facilities. But I was assured this is being addressed.
Had a lovely meal, good food, good advice on wine. Highly recommend.
Had the loveliest bottomless brunch at Tavola. Excellent food, drinks, service and atmosphere. 10/10 - if you re considering a visit definitely come!
Underwhelming cocktails and lacklustre service made this place very forgettable. Likely won t be returning again..
The service is very good
Fabulous and stylish place with excellent and very kind staff. We loved spending time here with our family.
The garlic bread I had was awful too much gariic..it was unpleasant and the pizza had too much tomato on it..such a shame I wont be visiting again
Fabulous place for a mid week treat, drinks, food, atmosphere. What s not to
Amazing experience at the launch event for this new restaurant. Could not fault the service, polite, timely and so friendly. The food we tasted was superb and really authentic. Can t wait for the next time I visit!
Brilliant service, staff, drinks and food! Looking forward to trying more!
Can t wait to return to this lovely place .
At last! A good Italian in Leamington. Best squid ever (so far from the coast) and the pasta was delicious. Very friendly service too. Well done, long may it last!!
Great place and nice decor, however both meals (carbonara and a lasagna) were both very dry and bland. Service was great, and the venue is nice, but the main issue here is the food is below average.
Really friendly service and the food is delicious. We enjoyed our evening very much - thank you
Really good food and good service
It might have helped that the sun was shining this evening when we ate at Tavola as it certainly felt like we were on holiday! The combination of the glass roof over part of the restaurant with the modern Mediterranean decor made it feel like a Spanish or Italian evening. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we were offered drinks as soon as we sat down. The food provided plenty lovely holiday flavours including yummy prawn gamberoni, calamari and sea bass. We also really enjoyed the cocktails. The puddings were my favourite, the pistachio profiterole and the tiramisu were delicious. Will definitely be back again!
Keen to try out Tavola after its rebranding in a nice and light restaurant. Friendly & fast service throughout the evening but very disappointed with the food when it came out. Carbona was lacking any taste other than pepper once you hit that spot and the garlic bread was far too salty to the point and not nearly enough garlic. Would have preferred less seasoning and the option to add our own. Didnt stay for deserts unfortunately due to how bad we found the mains, opting to grab something from the supermarket instead. I really wanted to find a nice new place to go for date night but Ill be opting for other Italian options in Leam in future.
This place is incredible, from the food, service and decor its impecable! Extremely impressed and one of the best spots in town!!
Great food and service!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere
Absolutely delicious, fantastic service and beautifully decorated. Our new favourite restaurant in Leamington. Thanks to Matteo for a lovely evening.
Beautiful little restaurant staff friendly and very helpful. The meal came out piping hot and was very tasty the desert was exceptionally good, if your planning a visit you will not be disappointed. A must try is the profiteroles thank me later
First time at Tavola. We had an amazing dinner. All 3 courses were outstanding and the Crodino Spritz was delicious, would definitely recommend this delightful Italian diner
Beautiful decor. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Happy to let us take leftovers with us - no room for pudding but they looked yummy!
Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime, so it was quiet. The interior is really lovely, and clean. Staff and service very friendly and tentative. Had the Schiacciata lunchtime sandwiches, which were very tasty and generous in portions. Highly recommend :)
This place was incredible. Bottomless brucnh was amazing and would recommend. Mateo was amazing and got our drinks fast and they were delicious. Thank you so much
great service, great food, matteo and luke were amazing!
such a lovely restaurant. came for the bottomless brunch and was beautiful. service and food was amazing mateo and luke were brilliant, will definitely be returning and highly recommend.
Lovely italian restaurant. Small menu but lovrly and great service.
Lovely chilled vibe. Tasty food. Will come again.
We enjoyed every aspect of our meal this weekend. This is a great addition to Italian food in Leamington Spa. The only reason why I didnt give five stars for the food: for a prawn based spaghetti, it just didnt have enough prawns in it, though it was very well presented. Apart from the decorative prawn on the top, I counted 2 or 3 prawns. Can I bring my own little bag of prawns next time? The sauce and spices, however, were spot on. Great sharing platter to start with and lovely ice cream
Really nice place and good atmosphere however we were a bit disappointed with the food and the service. The food was really yummy but felt incomplete, a sharing starter of cured meats should include a few bits of bread, I feel like this is a standard. Also the sea bass, was just a piece of sea bass, no salad, no side, which made the meal overpriced for what it was. My side was also forgotten and even though the kitchen prioritised it, my seabass was sitting in front of me getting cold. Service wise, my friend had to ask at every course what options did not have egg in due to an intolerance and each time the waitress had to check, sometimes multiple back and forth. It would be great to check after being informed to have the answer ready for these questions. Also I was still eating my starter and my plate was taken from me. As I said, the food was tasty, the atmosphere was good, and the staff were friendly, but room for improvement! We did get apologies throughout but maybe comping the forgotten side would have helped!
We ate here last night and we were really disappointed with the food. Matthew tended our table and he was super. Sadly he looked resigned to hearing complaints but he dealt with us professionally. We found the menu to be very limited. We ordered a bottle of wine and asked for red wine glasses rather than the small ones on the table. The ones that came were barely any bigger. We both ordered the chicken strips starter priced at £9.50. We got 3 small strips of fried chicken and a tomato (tinned?) dip. My husband had the spaghetti with prawns and I had the Pollo Milanese. The spaghetti came out with 4 small prawns for £19.50 and my chicken had no lemon sauce and could quite easily have come from KFC served with chips. Both dishes were served on small plates not dinner plates without any thought to presentation. The garlic bread was unrecognizable as garlic bread, I ve never seen anything like it. What a shame that this supposedly Italian restaurant was unable to produce on the food. Back to Vila Capri for us.
Fantastic drinks and service. Food was quite slow. Off the menu drinks were made exceptionally
Drinks were super , bartender did a good job
I went to this new Italian restaurant with my family soon after it opened. It has been transformed. It feels so light and fresh, like the colours of an Aperol spritz! They have huge windows, which let in the May sun. We had a range of tasty starters like calamari, fried Zucchini and burata- loved the touch of a vial of truffle oil sticking out of it! I went there for the beers too, as its one of the only places you can get Leamingtons Windmill brewery beers on tap - love the Session IPA.
As regulars of Bar 44 we were curious to try out Tavola and delighted with the new vibe! It looks fabulous, bright and airy with more seating zones. The food was delicious (calamari a particular hit) and Luke and his team are as welcoming as ever. We look forward to our next visit.
We had a fantastic experience at Tavola last night. Delicious cocktails (I recommend the Azure Aperitivo Spritz, a twist on the classic Aperol with blue curaçao), beautiful food (trattoria-style starters followed by the best sea bass I have had in a while) and a warm and welcoming team in an arty, Italian chic decor. Fully recommend!
Suppli were a it bland and not hot enough. Pizza base was very basic for a restaurant and tomato sauce very mediocre. Carbonara was very dry and again a bit cold. Salt and pepper hard to get, had to wait a good while for it. Very pleasant and friendly waiter. Overall I dont think it was a worthwhile visit.
So disappointed in this as we had looked forward to it so much. It took 25 minutes to come and take our order and 45minutes to get the starter with no plates and no cutlery - a further 15 minutes to get cutlery. The mains took 1.5 hrs and again no cutlery and a further wait for it . The mains were inedible On arrival we had asked for a pizza to take out. The waiter said he would get it just before we left so it was hot. As the mains took so long we asked for it straight away and the waiter returned to say the chef was now refusing to cook it. Asked to see the manager who said firstly he would go and sort the pizza out . He never returned! The waiter came back as he said his skills were better than the manager (?!) and the chef was still refusing to cook so they would be having words with him after. In their defence they didn t charge us for any of the food and invites us back at 50% reduction but to be honest neither of us would go!!
The restaurant at the town center boasts a charming ambiance with recent renovations, complemented by attentive staff. While the cuisine may be average, it could serve as an ideal destination for drinks and socializing.
Great to see this place re-open. Luke is great having been in this place for many years under a different name. Need to support the local place so really keen to support as much as I can. Have provided feedback on how to improve the general ambience of the place from a lighting perspective so hopefully this will help as well.
Absolutely Fantastic, Freddie, Neive and Maya have made us Comfortable and Genuinely well served. Food is Top Quality and the Drinks are served with Flare 5* Best Long Island ice Tea weve ever had A*
We visited Tavola on opening night and were impressed by the extensive renovation/ transformation. Now a modern, light and welcoming restaurant with a new Italian twist. A vast improvement. Given it was opening night the team were still working through a few things and only mains were available, however this didnt stop us enjoying some good food and drinks at a very reasonable price. Overall we were happy with everything and would return.
An absolutely fantastic place! Great decor, food and 5 star drinks. The service was impeccable, Freddie making wonderful cocktails even some off menu on request. Niamh and Maya were likewise very charming with a high quality of service. Their combined effort alongside wonderfully executed food made for a truly memorable night!
Went with my partner the other night and had a really good evening. The staff were really friendly and welcoming the food was really tasty - the sharing board in particular was a highlight. But for me, the wine list was very good and great value. The Pecorino was delicious
Had the new sandwiches. Really nice. New decor is really fresh and bright. Loved it Food : 5/5
Service was a bit sloppy; they gave me an IPA when I ordered a lager for the first round. But the service staff were very young, so I felt guilty raising concern over the issue. Starters were great and it was smooth sailing up until the mains arrived. The 7 ounce minute steak was tiny, .7 ounce more like. We had to wait 15 mins for anothers carbonara, and when it arrived... It was sad. The spaghetti felt like it was microwaved, the pork bits were cold and brittle. To top it all off, there was no carbonara sauce, it was just soaked in olive oil. The person who ordered it was gutted as it tasted abysmal. Thoroughly disappointed, AVOID THIS PLACE FOR FOOD, as someone who can work a microwave could do a better job at the quarter of the price.
Great place Beautiful food excellent service
Went for a lunch, cider and spicy veg sandwich. All good
Stopped here for a coffee. Had a slice of carrot cake too, which was tasty. The girl behind the bar was polite and made me feel welcome. Glad I popped in. Food
Sad to do this as clearly an independent business trying to do their best. 8pm Saturday night booking. Told food would be slow, fine understandable. Half an hour later told the meatballs weren t available, would I like to choose something else, I did.. Then nearly an hour in our two mains arrived. No sign of starters. Pizza was fine, ok for £16. But my wife s carbonara was visibly dry before even touching it. Sent back, asked to re-cook and came back not much better. Front of house staff were trying their best and clearly issues in the kitchen. We didn t pay for any of the food hence 3 star review, they really did all they could on service recovery. But no chance we will go back.
Really like this place. There are sofas at the front where you can sit and just have a drink and watch the world go by. Staff v relaxed and pleasant.
Went in after looking at good reviews. Very disappointed. Kids could not eat the margarita pizza as it as so bad. Veg burger was average and risotto was below average.
Lovely restaurant, I really enjoyed the focaccia. Will definitely visit again.
It s an ok place if all you re looking for is a drink and some tapas/snack but I wouldn t venture into the main menu or pizza menu if you were in any way or form picky about what you eat. We ordered a couple of dishes and we were quite disappointed with the quality of the food to say the least. Pizza sauce seems to be ready made from a tin, cheese poor quality, what meant to be italian sausage turns out more like supermarket pepperoni. Avoid pizzas here at all cost if you care about what pizzas you re eating. Especially with Red Hot Mama, and ilovepizza just around the corner for the same price.. the tagine was yet another massive disappointment, it was watery, bland and lack of flavour! The description on the menu made it sound delicious but the actual food delivered was 1/10 unfortunately. It tasted more like those lamb tomato stew ready meal you can get from Tesco s. All in all, a bad meal and most certainly won t be returning.
Good Christmas cocktails, food was incredible, super friendly staff and cosy atmosphere, Will be returning!
Food was great, but it was cold sitting in the restaurant
I attended the restaurant for my fiancée s 30th with another 12 people. The restaurant requested a pre order given the size of the party. I can t fault the restaurant at all. The service I received from the first initial contact in booking the table from Luke to end of the meal was brilliant. The food was also fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. The staff really couldn t do enough and they really made my fiancée s birthday special which is everything I wanted. I will definitely be attending again. Thank you for a great evening.
Slight issue with the booking Id made for my 30th birthday, but the restaurant sorted the issue out eventually (once I pushed them too, even though it was their error) cannot fault the experience we had once we arrived, our table was in the green room and service and food was excellent. Thank you for turning things around and making my birthday so fabulous
Straight to 5 with this one. There are few restaurants who really get it right first time. The ingredients, the style and the service are what stand out here. I like the ambience too, not rushed, not slow, its a pleasure to dine here. Keep up the good work
Today we had the Damon and also the beef bourguignon. Absolutely gorgeous food, beautifully presented, generously sized portions and fantastic customer service. Can t praise this restaurant enough!! Thank you so much!!
Nice place
Dropped in for coffee n cake. Great service. Pleasant peaceful atmosphere. Reasonable price. Thank you guys n gals.
Really good gluten free options.
Looks lovely and very busy but food was disappointing. Pizza a little soggy, sandwiches looked dried up and had been sitting all day. Good value if you wanted a cheapish couple of meals
Went on a Saturday evening. Staff were really friendly and good fast service. Tapas dishes were good but portions rather small compared to what s offered at other restaurants locally. We were really surprised when we were told the kitchen stopped serving food at 9pm ( on a Saturday night!?) as we wanted to order more dishes.
Really lovely. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they go above and beyond to make sure that every customer has a fantastic experience. All in all, I cant recommend 44 enough. Whether youre looking for a great place to grab a burger and a drink with friends, or you want to enjoy a romantic dinner with your significant other, this restaurant is the perfect choice.
Great Steak & Local beer - my first time visiting 44 Cafe Bar Bistro, I found the staff super welcoming and friendly, totally helpful and attentive. They made sure our group had everything we needed! Good choice of local cask, keg and craft beers on tap with some bottles and cans in the fridge. I chose the very reasonably priced locally sourced T-bone steak, which I might add was perfectly cooked to my request of Medium-rare (so hard to find these days, I cant remember the last time I had a steak actually cooked to what I asked for!). Chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - side salad was nice and fresh. Ill definitely be trying some of the tapas next time
5/5!! The photos speak for themselves! Great food. Great service. Great times!
Just had coffee and cake supposed to be £6 each .male waiter put a small scoup of ice-cream on charged £23 . So challenged it with the manager. He said they should of informed us its changed to a desert of £7. 95 each. Gave a £5 refund But still paid £17 for 2 coffee and cakes. We have been coming here regularly for over a year. Totally disgusted with the way this was handled. They have lost our business. So sad as we did like the place.
Great comedy night Thursday eve. Staff were great and service quick. Lovely place!
Live music, quality beers, no parking, amazing large tapas, pizzas need a little work but lots of food selections. Amazing staff and well priced @foodies_of_brum Food
Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I usually meet up with writers group here and enjoy the evening The Margherita pizza with jalapeno I had was delicious! Food
Great place with an Amazing singer.... Kirsty Ann
Lovely decor and very cozy. Unfortunately the food lets this place down - the caesar salad for £11.99 was tiny, under seasoned and over dressed. Other tapas plates my friend and I ordered were similar. This is the first time in after the rebrand. I d only recommend it for a drink not food.
Had a lovely time there last night enjoying happy hour...excellent prices and very welcoming and attentive staff. Thank you
A brilliant cafe/bar/bistro serving a great selection of drinks and meals, one of the best places in Leamington for a cocktail lover. The staff and the service at 44 are outstanding and they now offer frequent live events like music and stand up comedy. A slightly more adult and sophisticated atmosphere all round, a great place to sit, sip on a well crafted cocktail and have a a good conversation with friends. I would 100% recommend a visit to 44.
Great live music and delicious tapas
If you can t accept orders online, turn off the facility. Amateurs.
Live music, good atmosphere, pleasant, helpful staff, decent pub grub
Just came in for a few pints, had the Windmill Hill Copper Ale. Ale was very smooth, nice malty notes. Very nice spot, good music and friendly staff.
Its a super Italian food place. The tasty Mac and Cheese and the refreshing drinks simply made out day. Courteous staff and very friendly. Must go place for sure.
Lovely food and very quick service.
Went in out the blue on a Thursday, extremely quick and very friendly service. Extremely good value for what you get considering its fairly posh.
Brilliant, fresh, tasty food and the service was amazing, couldn t have hoped for a better experience!
Good food and cocktail options
I ve been coming here for years usually for a drink after work and recently had my Birthday meal with 18 family and friends. The food was great and service amazing.
Excellent little bistro, with reasonable prices and great Pizza
Great selection of food and drinks. Very friendly and professional staff to assist you. Definitely recommend for a visit with friends and family.
Excellent food and service
Loved the food and the service. Will definitely go back to try more.
Loved the rigatoni chicken and wild mushrooms pasta. Great food, friendly staffs and beautiful ambience..
Cafe, restaurant, bar, deli, its got it all, along with lovely staff, a little patio area outside, and really nice decor in. I like to pick up some authentic Italian ingredients whilst Im there, they stock lots of cooking sauces, pesto, olive oil, 00 flour, tapanades, all sorts. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options! Dietary restrictions: Vegan options excellent
We came here for our first wedding anniversary. The decor is really nice and relaxing, the staff and service were friendly and professional and the food was excellent and faultless. We will 100% be returning and would 1000% recommend
Quiet time of the day so not many customers but the food was good staff very friendly and service quick.
Great Italian. Lovely starters (see pics). Fillet steak was decent, Luca pizza was good but there were a few grumbles about the Margeritas being far too cheesy. Friendly staff and £200!for 4 adults and kids with wine so quite reasonable!!
We had a lovely meal at Casa Valle. Enjoyed a nice selection of tapas dishes. Great place for pasta too.
Great everything! Fabulous fresh food (meatballs are magnificent), delicious Moreti lager, delicious fizz, nice line in cocktails. Coffee and cake also a great option. Wonderful service. Just a really great (family run) place.
class
Lovely ambiance
Perfect evening. Service was really good and very friendly. The starters werent too good, but, The mains (pasta) were just spot on, we loved it. Would definitely recommend it if you want to have a nice romantic evening or even just to hang out with friends for dinner or something..!
Nice place to relax and enjoy a pint and food
Excellent food and really good price, staff were really helpful.
Lovely venue, great food and staff but sorry it was cold. Looked around and we werent the only ones with coats on. Turn the heating up and it would be perfect
Came to Casa Valle last night with my boyfriend for a date night and we loved it! What a cozy warm place perfect in the winter! Fabulous staff, beautiful decor a Christmassy vibe! Yummy food and great cocktails! Vegetarian options: The meals were really lovely. Dietary restrictions: Im quite fussy with my food as I have certain allergies however everything was up to standards Kid-friendliness: The place was a kids welcome place as I saw a few kids in the evening Wheelchair accessibility: Good
