47 Bedford St, Leamington Spa CV32 5DY, United Kingdom
A wide range of global meals, light bites & snacks, plus coffee & cocktails, in a rustic-chic cafe.
Fabulous independent cafe and tapas bar. The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Plenty of seating available at the time we were there. Highly recommended
Lovely food with generous portion size for tapas. Delicious wine, offer a d cake. Friendly service. E courage to take our time after closure
Absolutely banging!! Beautiful little place, great staff and the food is really something else! Only good things to say about this place...we're coming back! 🤗
Now this place is a little gem!!! The food was so fresh and delicious. Portions were a very good size and the staff were lovely too. Definitely be going again soon
Excellent little restaurant a little off the beaten path. Lovely decor and atmosphere, and to top it off the food is amazing. Came for breakfast and would highly recommend the Full English or Kaiser Benedict.
Hidden Gem in Leamington! Don't judge a book by its cover – this cosy cafe/bar tucked away on a side street in Leamington might seem unassuming from the outside, but step inside, and you'll find yourself in a delightful oasis of character and charm. Despite being a small establishment, the service here is top-notch. Even with just one person, presumably the manager or owner, handling both serving and cooking, the service was prompt and attentive. As for the food, it exceeded our expectations! Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection made our breakfast a delightful experience. The portions were generous, especially the big breakfast, which left us more than satisfied. Overall, I can't wait to return to this gem of a place. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cosy spot with great food and service in Leamington. I'll definitely be back for more!
Wow! Fabulous place! Eye-catching, lots going on but everything in the right place; details, stylish, creative and well thought, you can imagine what's going in the owner's mind, just love it!! Yet, fantastic food, everything so tasty and so well presented!! It is definitely great experience but if you are usually fast food stop off, may not be for you; you pay what you get!!
Cute little place, walked passed so many times and finally went in today with a friend. Had 3 tapas - meatball, aubergine and prawns, came with a bowl of salad, potatoes and very delicious bread. Quality food, but the staff was checking in too often for order and clearing dishes even there's no customers waiting for table.
Great spot hidden away down a Leam back street. Still brilliant at the end of 2024, fresh food, freshly prepared. Food : 5/5
Superb little place. Great food, freshly prepared. Friday lunchtime was really good timing, too. Thanks to the owners and chef! Parking: Parking on Bedford Street or Bedford Street carpark
Amazing experience. My only gripe is that the fried potatoes were over salty.
Tuck down a side street is this Cafe. We had there breakfast and it was lovely, perfectly cooked to our taste. Will probably go again when in the area. Food : 5/5
Delicious coffee and treats from the cabinet.
Great all round. Good service, food and atmosphere.
Dont make small talk with the staff its clear they dont want to speak to customer
Amazing little place with beautiful food and accessible to ambulant wheelchair users
Great coffee, good food, nice staff.
Simply the best. I no longer live in Leamington but every time I go to visit my parents we go and have lunch in Aroma. The food is excellent, plenty of options for those with different dietary requirements. I cant recommend this place enough, a real hidden gem.
Expensive £12.50 for soup, £16.99 for an omelette is a it much for a cafe
What a find! We love Tapas food and the Aroma Cafe didnt disappoint. The quality, variety and portion sizes were second to none. The service was truly excellent, we cannot fault the venue on anything! Will definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely go back.
Amazing tasty breakfast. Such a nice ambiance and flavourful food. Its a bit pricey, but the food tasted amazing. Food : 5/5
Stupendous stuff
See below Vegetarian options: Great tasting dishes. Only issue: baba ghanoush was not like it is traditionally made, but still good. The bread accompaniment was great. Service was excellent
Called in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly. Very clean. food was nicely presented and tasty. Also at proper pot of tea. Highly recommended ++ Recommended dishes
Fantastic place, great food, friendly staff, stopped for a mix of tapas & wow, was great!
Sadly they increased the pricing to astronomical amounts, I m not sure what world you think £14 for a breakfast is fair. Won t be coming back sadly, was a regular before the massive price hike
Didn t like the Greek salad - sweet dressing and ingredients weren t very fresh. Coffee was nice. Service needs work - the waiter removed my partner s plate when I was in the middle of eating - rather rude.
Food was bad and very bland. The place looked cute from outside so wanted to try it. I only tried some tapas and it was too expensive for what you get, they give you bread and salad for each tapas to justify the price I guess while the tapas itself is just ingredients thrown together with no cohesion or condiments.
Well priced with great food!
Really nice cafe restaurant. Home made food on demand, so a bit of wait, but really worth it. Very nice staff too. Portions are great too.
I entered about 11.00...i was the only customer...the coffee was lovely...the decor was eclectic... anything the management liked was added and stuck on the wall...its a bit off the beaten track ...but I would definitely come here again...
A very pleasant meal. We had a late lunch here and the food was very well made with some nice milkshakes. Benches with cowskin covering were an unusual and nice touch - although being the dad I was relegated to the wooden chair rather than the nice bench.
Only had coffee one of best in town as Im an OAP cant afford the food it looks great when others ate
Finally decided to try this place and we were so glad we did. A nice quiet and relaxing atmosphere, superb food with generous portions and good coffee. Will definitely go again to try the tapas or breakfast.
Nice cafe / bar with good service. Only had coffee outside so cant comment on food but what I saw looked good. Its slightly off the main area but worth a visit if near by
I hate giving negative reviews for independent businesses but unfortunately they didn t leave me with much of a choice. The place itself is nice and different and the food is average. My main issue though is that I have no idea how can you justify charging £14 for a hummus tapas, at a cafe, even if it is served with bread and salad. The slightly fancier tapas such as garlic prawns were not much better as the garlic (which it had A LOT of) was bigger than the prawn!!! Same applies for other items on the menu (cheese and ham baguette for £14??!!) or salami, feta, cherri tomato etc platter for £36!! . This was our first visit to this cafe and definitely the last
Probably the best English breakfast. Such a beautiful brunch/breakfast. The portions are amazing. The flavors were perfect and nice service.
This is a lovely cafe, tucked away on Bedford Street - you could easily miss it, which would be a shame as its charming. Service is friendly and prompt. There is good wifi (on request) and the food is very good. I had eggs benedict, I requested a vegetarian option, and the chef kindly offered me a choice of tomatoes and mushrooms instead of salmon or bacon. I followed this with a lemon crepe. Latte with oat milk was very good . I think I paid £22, which is good value, for the portions were ample. I had some work to get on with, and stayed for quite a while, and didnt feel there was any pressure on me to pay up and leave once Id finished my food. A very cool cafe.
Gorgeous food and very welcoming
Absolutely love Aroma - superb breakfast/brunch menu, excellent coffee, great service.
Polite and friendly staff, absolutely fabulous food, great menu plenty of tapas, pizza, brunch and salads.. We throughly enjoyed our Tapas..great value for money..I would highly recommend a visit..
Quite frankly one of the best brunches I have ever, ever had! Veggie breakfast with eggs, beans, toast, tomatoes, grilled halloumi, hash browns, sweetcorn fritters, mushrooms & spinnach. I just wish I lived closer to Royal Leamington Spa. If youre around, make sure you pop in for a brew. Besides the fab food the whole place has a fabulous individual eclectic vibe and the coffee us excellent.
Great cuppa coffee ...just sit and watch the world go by
Great food
A bit more expensive than wed usually go for, however the food was amazing and well worth the price. Delicious vegetarian breakfast and veggie omelette, a real treat, thank you Vegetarian options: Great flavours, decent selection.
Lovely atmosphere and good service, poached eggs a bit watery and tasteless. Would however give them another go, keen to try the tapas.
Lovely service, rustic interior, try their omelettes, you wont regret it (Huge portion and a lovely side salad)
Very pleasant and hospitable host. Loved the charm and character of the cafe. A definite place to visit when in Royal Lemington Spa
Best breakfast Ive eaten in a long time. I hear the vegetarian is good too.
a rare gem. absolutely beautiful, amazing food and hidden away
Popped in yes for a coffee with a friend decided I wanted something to pick on my friend said she wasn t hungry so I decided to order a tapa of Spanish garlic prawns came promptly on a large tray with sides of salads and lovely small potatoes food was amazing looked amazing so much so my friend couldn t help herself and we shared it! There was probably enough for 3 to share beautiful place can t wait to return
Lovely place, very cosy with lots of culture. Friendly staff and a lovely breakfast! Highly recommended. You pay for what you get.
What an amazing place. Quirky décor that really appeals to my craving for something different The coffee is delicious. The Croque Madame was fabulous.
Always enjoy visiting this cafe when in Leamington. Great food and friendly staff
Best coffee in Leamington, Eggs Kaiser also my favourite. Full English is legit. Not been in the evening, but for brunch with the missus, its a winner. Will try and get a takeaway sometime, hopefully that will be done as well as their eat in offering.
Lovely, charming place with amazing staff and incredible food. Ill definitely visit next time Im in Leam!
Came to aroma and had a cajun chicken, roast veg & brie omelette, and a flat white. The food was so delicious! so full of flavour. The salad included red cabbage, a sun dried tomato, olives and a balsamic glaze. The omelette with tons topping & fresh herbs on top. You can tell the food is made with love :) The waiter was really friendly and helpful and there are some really interesting knick-knacks to look at all throughout the decor of the restaurant. I came on a Sunday morning in June and it wasnt busy. You get the feeling youve gone back in time. Glad I chose Aroma for my breakfast whilst in Leamington!
Used this little gem for two years but unfortunately the last time we used it the servi ce was terrible, ordered two Tappas and they came with one salad and one potatoes and exactly the same size as when ordered for one, when we questioned it we were told its to share... Err no your ripping your customer off.Very expensive and grumpy guy who use to smile and make you feel welcome, wont be using again.
Lovely little cafe down a side street. Great find, whilst looking where to have breakfast this morning. My friend and I were not dissapointed! Lovely presentation, tasty & so fresh the owner was amazing and so friendly. Looking forward to returning when next in town.
Good breakfast with pretty much everything on the plate, veggie and normal but not cheap, see if you want soya milk..extra charge of 50p think its all a bit steep with so much competition nearby!
Excellent service and food
Average breakfast food - I found small pieces of egg white in my plate in spite of clearly mentioning I don t want any eggs. Took more than an hour to serve so quite slow (though they apologised for the slow service). Charged extra just for swapping bits in the breakfast - which was strange and not mentioned. I ve been here before and had a good experience. But this visit wasn t nice at all.
Excellent breakfast. Chef can poach eggs. Simple you say, so why is it many cant. Little dearer than some others in the area, but worth it. Great coffee too
Good but quite expensive
Lovely food and very friendly staff
Good but quite expensive
Authentic food and excellent service!
Went for a lunch, food was really tasty. We had the 3 tapas dishes between 3 adults and it was a nice portion size for a lunch. Not the usual tapas as would expect of several small plates, more like side dish portion sizes and 1 tapas is over £12, very pricey. Although this seemed to be the theme with breakfasts, Panini and sandwiches also at this price point. Whilst food quality is good there are lots of cafes and restaurants locally that offer this at lower prices. It was very busy and service a bit slow. It is quite small but cosy, lovely decorated. I would suggest booking. Overall would return, it has a lovely atmosphere and the food was great but would probably only be for special occasions or a treat.
So quirky. Lovely food. Like everywhere it has gone up in price but great fresh food. Especially vegetarian
Coffee and cake lovely.
Had an excellent tappas on a Sunday lunchtime. Lovely people & quirky location. Highly recommended!
Great place to eat. A lot of atmosphere.
Cosy place
Nice cost place.. great food and amazing people
Best vegetarian all-day breakfast in Leamington.
Gorgeous little cafe! They have a great range of food for Vegetarians, and are also very happy to alter any menu items, for specific requirements. Always really clean plate of food, nothing to moan about!
Nice to visit an independent cafe for brunch, good food and good coffee. Owner was a little preoccupied on the phone...
This little Tapas bar is a hidden gem! The food is so delicious and they are very welcoming.
Lovely food, excellent service, lovely lunch break. Fantastic all round
The slow cooked vegetables were really really good
Nice atmosphere, coffee is good and the place can be very quiet which is good for those who want a nice quiet drink with friends.
Amazing food,excellent service, good prices.
Always first class. Great food and plenty of it. Excellent service too.
Beautiful little cafe away from the hustle and bustle of The Parade. Lovely Chai Latte
Very nice location and delicious food!
Very good coffee food. Atmospheric place with nice service. I recommend!
I often visit this cafe and every time the food is exemplary, so fresh, so authentic! I cannot recommend enough ! Thank you Aroma cafe! :-)
Quirky decor, great food, deserts and hot drinks.
Excellent cafe food, and really good coffee, in a nicely decorated space with friendly staff.
Great coffee. Food is really good and well priced. Breakfast is good. Maybe my favourite place in town. Ideal combination of relaxed atmosphere and well priced food.
Great atmosphere, lots of space and lots of interesting curios on the walls. Good food. Perhaps could be cheaper, especially as its not on the high street. Too bad its out of the way, more people should experience this place.
Really good business lunch
really nice and comfy place!!
Great Breakfast - Good Service cant say anything bad.
This is one of my favourite joints in Leamington Spa. Overall ambience is quite different but interesting to look at. Nice place to enjoy tapas especially the teriyaki chicken which is my favorite or a nice banana crepe as a dessert if you carve for one. The taste of food is awesome. Service is pretty decent and courteous.
Such a beautiful place! Amazing full English, lovely friendly service and of of the cutest, quirkiest places I have eaten at, I will definitely be back and recommending this to others. Just wish I had a bigger glass of orange juice. LOVE it here.
Excellent food
Nice food and coffee... one of my favorite Cafes in Leamington
Excellent place to pop into for a drink or bite to eat. Staff are very friendly and ambiance is great. .
We had lunch here recently. The food was very good and the decor of the cafe is very quirky and cosy. Would recommend the tapas - the bread was homemade and delicious. However, what was off-putting and made the experience a bit uncomfortable was the chef angrily ringing the service bell for the waitresses to collect the food every couple of minutes. If one of the 2 women didnt immediately go to the kitchen, even if they were busy taking orders or serving customers in the busy cafe, he would repeatedly hit the bell. It was painful listening to him audibly chastise the staff (the kitchen is behind the bar, so within earshot and visible to the room). They did seem fairly new, but were coping OK with the busy restaurant. So, overall lovely food, but it pays to treat your staff with respect.
Gorgeous food, friendly service. Everything is freshly made so at busy times you will have a wait. But it is worth it. especially the tapas and the pizzas!
All seemed good. Until it came to leaving. I didnt leave a tip and the guy who served us attitude was borderline rude in retrospect. I am not used to tipping. I actually thought the big bowl of money near the till was decor, but realised after what I did wrong. Yes it felt like I did something wrong by not tipping, and of which I dont even think to do in England. Add service charge if you expect tips and Ill only ask to remove it if service is lacking.
Reasonable dish prices/ size of meal
Fabtastic ambience, great service, excellent menu
Customer service could be better. And food option good but higher prices.
Just such a great and quirky place.
Very romantic place. Small menu but coffee is LOVELY.
good
Spot on breakfast, will visit again soon...
The best coffee shop in town.
It has a lovely rustic feel about the place. The food is really nice with generous portions. Well worth the value. It has a really nice welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff
Always delicious food and pleasant staff.
Had the best Eggs Benedict here that i have ever had! Simply divine! Excellent coffee and really friendly helpful staff. Will be going again :)
Cancelled food order due to the way the chef was speaking to waiting staff. All customers in restaurant could hear made an awful atmosphere
Awful experience!
Great food and service.
Fantastic Cafe with a lovely interior, featuring a rustic style and many pretty things to look at! The food is great, and tastes perfect! You can buy breakfasts or lunch/dinner food and also desserts! The coffee and hot chocolate are also incredible and it is generally the best cafe you could visit in Leamington Spa.
We have passed this place several times in the past and always wanted to try it. It didnt start well when we asked for sangria and the waitress didnt know what it was and found out that the tapas were more like mains ( we were expecting more small typical Spanish dishes). But after the chefs recommendations, we had 3 tapas between 2 of us. The food was really good, really fresh and good value for money. The chef went above and beyond to make sure out dining experience was a good one.
A quiet afternoon in Leamington Spa & my brother& I came across this winner! He had the chicken omlette with salad& I had the Aroma Salad - feta cheese, salad greens- coriander & mint & chives, with sun dried tomatoes, chopped apple, warm tomato pitta bread & balsamic vinegar. Service with a smile & great ambience among an eclectic mix of artefacts. Reasonably priced. Definitely recommend
A unique layout awesome for traditional breakfast and tapas.
We ordered the tapas. The flavours were perfect! The presentation amazing and the staff friendly and fast. Do yourself a favour and go taste their food!
Great food and friendly service. Worth seeking out
Nice place, the staff is kind and the food is very tasty. Defo is worth giving it a try!
Amazing breakfast, get there early otherwise there are no seats
Excellent food and service. A little gem!
Great service, food and staff
Visited for breakfast. Quirky cafe, nice atmosphere, good service and good food.
Food is pricier than spoons but fantastic service, atmosphere and coffee.
Good food, amazing staff!!
Very nice place, lovley food
Very good food and service
Beautiful service, I like that the staff seem happy. The manager seems more appreciative of the work the staff do and the restaurant is a beautiful venue.
Good meat pizza & coffee!
A little piece of Espagna in Leamington. The service excellent, food amazing. Very well decorated restaurant. Very friendly staff.
I can only rate the coffee as I didnt have food. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cosy.
The cappuccino was excellent so as they didnt do toasted teacakes I asked for a scone and they toasted it, new experience for me so lesson learnt make sure youre clear on what you order lol
Lovely little place. They do a great vegetarian breakfast with some other good choices. Service is also very good and the people in there are always friendly.
Lovely food, wonderful atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Good food good service very comfortable place to enjoy company with your friends
Excellent coffee probably the best in Leamington
Fab cafe.
This place is very cosy with some really nice interior. They serve delicious food with a smile. A lot of options to choose from. Whether you like Mediterranean or European food, you would always have something to go for. Love this place.
Nice little tapas place, friendly staff and cosy. Quite expensive though
Great cafe, delicious food and excellent coffees! They also allow dogs inside
Coffee was great. Couldnt comment on food as we didnt have any but was a lovely cosy environment so we decided that we will return to grab a bite in the very near future! Thank you.
Nice and tasty food!!! Friendly staff!!!
Cozy and very comfortable. Great good.
Excellent food and service
All the reviews suggested that I visit this place .it was very busy. The aroma conning from the place was very appealing.
Very good fresh cooked breakfast , and laid out on the plate nicely, great quiet atmosphere , many thanks!!
Unique decor. Good staff. Great food. Small venue.
Nice place, good atmosphere, always busy. The coffee was strong!
Good cafe
Tasty food, nice design
What can I say.....fantastic coffee, cracking grub and service with a smile! This quirky little cafe is a hidden gem of Leamington. The atmosphere is mellow, the food is delicious and the staff are attentive yet not intrusive! You d be robbing yourself an experience if you didn t pay this place a visit!
Delicious
Great place for a weekend brunch. Good coffee. Very helpful staff
Very characteristic and the food is good
My partner and I came here For breakfast. It was lovely. A bit away from the main street, so the cafe can be missed I think. But worth a visit. Nice coffee, nice breakfast, nice decor. The staff member was new but she did a good job. My partner ordered the big full breakfast which was nice and a decent portion size and I ordered the eggs and bacon which was well cooked. Would visit again for breakfast.
Lovely restaurant /café
Great choice of food at a reasonable price & very friendly staff. Parking available close by.
Great decor. However very expensive for what you get £9.99 for tapas for one. And £6.50 for a bowl of soup. Will not be back
Charming establishment very pleasant owner and obliging staff. Serves excellent coffee and eats do try it when in the Leamington Spa area.
Wonderful proper pub
Superb food. Great ingredients and soulful cooking. Cosy, stylish rustic decor, feels transformed to an exotic Spanish barn once you enter. I like that its tucked away on a quiet street so the place feels like a discovery. Though expecting tapas to be tapas priced but £9.99 a pop defeats the point. Will visit again.
Great food. Good location. Nice ambience.
Nice place and good food
This is a really great place - Leamington has many good places to eat but this is my favourite Really good menu - all your favourite Tapas dishes - and really top rate service - always be my choice
A cafe with character!
Cosy, love the decor, fantastic eggs
Brilliant little cafe with great tasting food
Fantastic find, service amazing. Lovely atmosphere
Had brunch with my family here a few weeks ago. Lovely service, in a relaxed environment, lovely food. We will be going back.
The owner is a lovely person, food and drinks are wonderful, highly recomended!!
Lovely service, but was underwhelmed by the tapas selection. All the dishes were mostly full of a stewed tomato sauce, and there was more tomato than prawns or mushrooms. Meatballs were pretty nice.
I met three friends at Aroma restaurant. We enjoyed our food and coffee very much. The service was, as always very good and friendly. For me this is definitely the go-to-place, whether its a coffee on my own or a tray of tapas with friends. They also serve a really nice choice of breakfasts and other dishes besides the tapas
