Nikki was absolutely amazing her service was exceptional! The 2 egg breakfast with hash browns and sautéed onions was delicious with large portions and cooked perfectly with bottomless coffee! Highly recommended!

Stay clear of this place if you are not from the area. We totally were taken advantage of. Never even tried to clarify the order. They wouldnt even make it right to what I really trying to oder. I even was overpriced. If you want a real nice breakfast just go down the street the Family Kitchen!

As always, if you get Tula(not sure if spelled correctly) she is an amazing person and a wonderful service provider. A true GEM ! Unfortunately though, there s a change in the food along with pricing . You re not allowed to order off the breakfast and lunch menu even before 10:30am and you ll be charged more than it says on the menu. My sandwich had the two smallest pieces of the loaf and I was also charged .75 cents more for having rye bread. They didn t have marinara or sour cream for our cheese sticks, so we had to use ketchup. I had asked for no olives on my Greek salad and watched as another staff member picked them off with her fingers. I miss the way it used to be . But good things also come to an end. Parking: Some street parking but is in the center of town where there are MANY other restaurants/retail, it s a shocker to find anything close.

I came to Leamington for my brother s surgery and ended up finding some of the best breakfast spots! The service is great Margret s smile will definitely make your day! The owner, Fadi, is a very humble gentleman who ensures everything is on point. I m so grateful for the wonderful food and people here! I highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch!

I ordered the grilled breakfast burrito. It has eggs, cheese, green peppers and usually comes with potatoes too, but I opted for their corn and beans in adobe sauce instead! Wow! So delicious. I put a bit of marmalade on top of the sizzled markings grilled on the soft tortilla. It is no longer listed on their menu, but they will still make it. Thankyou Nikki, your gift of service is exceptional!

Quaint place, exceptional staff (Karlee specifically was wonderful, very pleasant and professional), and the food was very good - good portion, very flavourful. We had a breakfast burrito with home fries and the reuben sandwich with salad and beef barley soup. Looking forward to our next visit.

Paid $32 for 2 sandwich and soup specials. The bread was thicker then the amount of meat! Newer ownership, we will not be back.

New owners so Better atmosphere since they choose music over tv Waitresses polite Restaurant empty at noon hour and this is why Food .. total disappointment Order the corned beef sandwich, toasted Only one side toasted, the portion of meat on sandwich was an insult, it was also dry Why do new owners change things .. they buy a successful restaurant than cheap out. Waitress relayed owners message saying it was the same as previous owners.. not true For 32 bucks it will only be a matter of time the doors are closed permanently.

We sent a lot of our customers to Gingerbread for breakfast while they wait for their car to be fixed. Have never heard one complain about it! Everyone always comes back happy and full!

First time going to Ginger bread house the other day and it s super cute inside!! The atmosphere is very comfy and cozy and the food was 10/10 the servers are soo kind and welcoming.

If there is one place to dine in leamington, it s definitely GingerBread House! The food quality is excellent, with lots to choose from. It s about 5-10 mins wait to receive the food, and it s the hottest and freshest food I ve had at a breakfast place! The waiters are also very well mannered and professional, and also easy on the eyes ;) lol very wonderful atmosphere will be back again!

Went for breakfast today very busy had to wait but the food was awesome the waitress was great only problem is we had only sat there 45 min was just finishing looking for our last cup of coffee and man on the front counter come over and ask us to leave because he need the booth for someone else so we left. Not happy never been asked to leave so some else can have our booth sorry not going back BAD customer service

To try and eat, while listening to what I think was the owner just sit behind the cash screaming and insulting an employee that she hadnt stopped serving customers to make a call for him to a supplier, that if she didnt stop everything now she could consider herself fired. It was no where near a good atmosphere by any imagination.

Came through Leamington Ontario to one of the nicest restaurants and towns Ive been in. The server there was absolutely a charm making sure not just that my wife and I were comfortable but also our service dog. Thank you so much

I m a fan of Diner type restaurants with traditional comfort food menu s and this place has not disappointed. Fast friendly service and all of the dishes I ve had so far have been excellent. It s not a shiny new found everywhere cookie cutter franchise restaurant. It has character and that s what also makes it great. Best coleslaw north of Miami!

Food was decent, but be careful with the coffee as refills are charged at full price regardless if it s a full cup or just topping it up (i.e. my cup was 1/3 empty). Would ve been great if we could be told before refilling.

By far the worst place to eat in Leamington. Went in for a bite to eat and encountered a KAREN waitress....its a wonder that they are still open. I will tell everyone about this disgusting restaurant and its staff., and management.

the food was great! my toddler ate 3 pancakes haha he couldnt get enough!! the women working there were so nice to us, we had a group of 8 and showed up at a busy time on the weekend and they made room to accommodate us!

Do they even try? Mushroom omelette seems to use canned mushrooms that are undercooked with eggs that are overcooked. Look at my pic! Potatoes are slopped, burned, and then divided. No seasoning at all. All while the owners sit at the front and talk over the servers who then have to balance acknowledging their bosses and the customers. I dont get the theme? Gingerbread House, but it seems barn and Greek themed? The servers were good, but the chef kept coming out of the kitchen to talk to the owners. So unprofessional and frankly a sign that they are just comfortable with not caring. This is for you, the reader: even Tim Hortons is better.

Ive gone to Ginger Bread for years and it was always amazing. Was in today and everything was fantastic! Samantha and Hailee were pleasant and attentive. Service was quick. Food was phenomenal. Well done to Fadi for keeping this cornerstone of Leamington up to its high-standard past!

A little pricey but not crazy pricey. Food was just ok had to ask for a second cup of coffee. No peanut butter said there peanut free never seen that in a restaurant before but what ever.o

I feel this place could be updated we had burgers and fries when we went and I was disappointed as it was $20 for burger fries and a drink and the burger wasnt made it seemed to be a frozen box burger. Wasnt really happy with it. But the atmosphere was very friendly.

Food was late and cold, asked for a coffee refill, didn t not get a refill. Service was slow.

Reasonably priced and good food

It is a great atmosphere to spend a casual morning. I have always encountered friendly staff and although they dont offer the amount of options as a coras would, they do offer good quality for the options they do have. Try the grand slam, it has a bit of everything, but more than enough for one person.

Nothing gingerbread about the atmosphere, food was good, decent price but 2 of the waitstaff really didnt even want to be there and the one lady held the reigns and oicked up their slack so kudos to her.

The breakfast was not anything special ...serving was small , charge u extra for Rye toast...for the price ..not good.

We ordered our meals. I got 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon and potatoes supposedly for $11. My wife ordered a small Ceasar salad with chicken on it. First I was asked if I wanted fried onions on it (didnt say that was an extra $1.50) The eggs seemed fine, bacon was fine too but very greasy. The potatoes were undercooked topped with slimly uncooked oil saturated onions. I ate the eggs and bacon. I ate about 4 pieces of potatoes and some slimly onions. My wife got a salad with no chicken, no parmesan cheese, 2 kinds of lettuce and homemade deep fried croutons. The croutons were big pieces and very oily. The dressing was not caesar dressing. We asked about the chicken it came 5 minutes later seared, cut up with a bread knife and dried out. They took the salad off the bill but charged me $13 for my all day breakfast before taxes. Charged me $12 for the breakfast and $1.50 for uncooked slimly onions. My wife got charged for a piece of garlic bread and her ginger ale. The aftermath for me was excessive gas, bloating and a severve upset stomach leading to diarrhea till 4am. Would not recommend this resturant. My wife kept getting dirty looks from the cook after rejecting her food.

Great family friendly restaurant! I had the Gingerbread breakfast combo. It vane with bacon, ham, sausage, eggs, toast and potatoes. It was very delicious. The place was snark on the inside, but they fit alot of tables in there. Service was quick and the staff were very helpful. I asked them fur some other places they recommended and I enjoyed this as well!

Horrible service, they were rushed to get us out of there, food was really bad, didnt take the time even to ask about our oder, never going back again thats for sure

What a disgrace....food was terrible. When I called asking to speak to manager, he said not a good time and call after 2 and hung up on me....NEVER again will you get my business or my friends and family. And Ill be filing a complaint

Visiting friends for a wedding weekend and we stopped here for a quick breakfast based on the positive Google reviews. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. The server refilled my coffee with the burnt, bottom of the pot and rolled her eyes whenever I made a request for more coffee. She seemed to have a very important conversation about her dating life to the person in the kitchen which impeded on the quality of her service. We had to ask for things multiple times because the server would forget. The kitchen forgot to serve the side (fries) with my husbands club sandwich which seems pretty standard. The food tasted fine enough but nothing out of the ordinary and it of course took more than 10 minutes to get to the table. Eggs definitely dont take that long. I doubt we will ever be back in Leamington for another occasion. But if we do return, we will be sure to steer clear of here!

I went here as a get away from the USA. I was looking for a small town diner and this fit the bill. I had a basic breakfast with Peameal bacon. I had never tried this bacon and it was great. The place was relaxing everyone knew each other. Overall the experience was pretty good.

Went for breakfast with my wife on Labour Day. It was very busy, but the staff handled the stress with a smile. The food was amazing, and the prices were very reasonable. The toast was actually toasted and not just warmed bread with butter. The hash browns were chopped up, cooked potatoes nicely browned, and yet also buttery and creamy like German butter potatoes. Nice small town everyone knows everyone vibe, so very friendly. This is a family restaurant that I would go back to. I want to try their lunch items.

I had the eggs benny with tomato (homemade hollandaise!!) and my husband had the mile high Reuben. Our food was SO good! It came out quickly, everything was hot and fresh, and tasted unbelievable. The coleslaw was tasty, the Reuben was possibly the best Ive ever had, and the eggs Benny was made to perfection. Nice staff, excellent coffee, I would highly recommend this place.

The Mediterranean omelettes were excellent. Best restaurant omelet we ve had in a long time. Home fries were nice and crispy. Portions were large. Staff are very friendly, attentive and polite. We d definitely come back here the next time we come to town. Highly recommend.

The lady brought a glass of water to my table. I called her back to the table cause there was red lipstick on my glass. She came over to the table and I showed her the lipstick on the glass and her response was thats why we give straws. She also never came over to even check to see how I was enjoying the food. Not very friendly. Hashbrowns were extremely salty and tasted like they just warmed them up cause they were just to say they were warm. That was the 1st and the last time I will ever be to this restaurant.

Not impressed at all. Me and my wife and my daughter drove from Kingsville to go to gingerbread house because it is one of my favourite restaurants and I ve been going there. Even when I was a kid. Let me tell you I won t be back ever again. We walked in to get a table, and a family walked in behind us. The man came over and asked us who was first and we said we are, and he said we re just cleaning a table send the same man came immediately back to us, and gave the people behind us the table and told us to wait I said no thank you and we last how rude he must ve been related to the people behind us or something that was a blatant disrespect. I m never coming back there and neither is my family never been treated so rudely right out in the open in my life. I left there feeling angry as now I can t go back to one of my favourite places. Terrible I m honestly upset.
